90:2وَأَنتَwa-antaAnd youحِلُّۢhillun(are) free (to dwell)بِهَٰذَاbihadhain thisٱلۡبَلَدِal-baladicity٢
90:4لَقَدۡlaqadCertainlyخَلَقۡنَاkhalaqnaWe have createdٱلۡإِنسَٰنَal-insanamanفِيfi(to be) inكَبَدٍkabadinhardship٤
90:5أَيَحۡسَبُayahsabuDoes he thinkأَنanthatلَّنlannotيَقۡدِرَyaqdirahas powerعَلَيۡهِalayhiover himأَحَدٞahadunanyone٥
90:6يَقُولُyaquluHe will sayأَهۡلَكۡتُahlaktuI have squanderedمَالٗاmalanwealthلُّبَدًاlubadanabundant٦
90:12وَمَآwamaAnd whatأَدۡرَىٰكَadrakacan make you knowمَاmawhatٱلۡعَقَبَةُal-'aqabatuthe steep path (is)١٢
90:14أَوۡawOrإِطۡعَٰمٞit'amunfeedingفِيfiinيَوۡمٖyawmina dayذِيdhiofمَسۡغَبَةٖmasghabatinsevere hunger١٤
90:17ثُمَّthummaThenكَانَkanahe isمِنَminaofٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoءَامَنُواْamanubelieveوَتَوَاصَوۡاْwatawasawand enjoin (each other)بِٱلصَّبۡرِbil-sabrito patienceوَتَوَاصَوۡاْwatawasawand enjoin (each other)بِٱلۡمَرۡحَمَةِbil-marhamatito compassion١٧
90:18أُوْلَٰٓئِكَulaikaThoseأَصۡحَٰبُashabu(are the) companionsٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِal-maymanati(of) the right (hand)١٨
90:19وَٱلَّذِينَwa-alladhinaBut those whoكَفَرُواْkafarudisbelieveبِـَٔايَٰتِنَاbiayatinain Our Versesهُمۡhumtheyأَصۡحَٰبُashabu(are the) companionsٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِal-mashamati(of) the left (hand)١٩
