مَوۡلَىٰنَاۚ
Mawlaanaa:
(is) our Protector
وَعَلَى
wa-ʻalal
And on
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ
fal-yatawakkalil
[so] let the believers put (their) trust
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
Muʹminoon.
[so] let the believers put (their) trust

9:52
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
هَلۡ
hal
Do
تَرَبَّصُونَ
tarabbaṣoona
you await
بِنَآ
binaaa
for us
إِلَّآ
ʹillaaa
except
إِحۡدَى
ʹiḥdal
one
ٱلۡحُسۡنَيَيۡنِۖ
ḥusnayayn?
(of) the two best (things)
وَنَحۡنُ
Wa-naḥnu
while we
نَتَرَبَّصُ
natarabbaṣu
[we] await
بِكُمۡ
bikum
for you
أَن
ʹañy
that
يُصِيبَكُمُ
yu-ṣeebakumul
Allah will afflict you
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah will afflict you
بِعَذَابٖ
biʻaẓaabim
with a punishment
مِّنۡ
min
from
عِندِهِۦٓ
ʻiñdiheee
[near] Him
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
بِأَيۡدِينَاۖ
biʹaydeenaa.
by our hands
فَتَرَبَّصُوٓاْ
Fatarabbaṣooo
So wait
إِنَّا
ʹinnaa
indeed we
مَعَكُم
maʻakum
with you
مُّتَرَبِّصُونَ
mutarabbiṣoon.
(are) waiting
٥٢
9:53
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
أَنفِقُواْ
ʹañfiq̣oo
Spend
طَوۡعًا
ṭawʻan
willingly
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
كَرۡهٗا
karhal
unwillingly
لَّن
lañy
never
يُتَقَبَّلَ
yutaq̣abbala
will be accepted
مِنكُمۡ
miñ-kum:
from you
إِنَّكُمۡ
ʹinnakum
Indeed you
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
[you] are
قَوۡمٗا
q̣awmañ
a people
فَٰسِقِينَ
faasiq̣een.
defiantly disobedient
٥٣
9:54
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
مَنَعَهُمۡ
manaʻahum
prevents them
أَن
ʹañ
that
تُقۡبَلَ
tuq̣bala
is accepted
مِنۡهُمۡ
minhum
from them
نَفَقَٰتُهُمۡ
nafaq̣aatuhum
their contributions
إِلَّآ
ʹillaaa
except
أَنَّهُمۡ
ʹannahum
that they
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieve
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
in Allah
وَبِرَسُولِهِۦ
wa-bi-Rasoolihee
and in His Messenger
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
يَأۡتُونَ
yaʹtoonaṣ
they come
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
Ṣalaata
(to) the prayer
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
وَهُمۡ
wa-hum
while they
كُسَالَىٰ
kusaalaa
(are) lazy
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
يُنفِقُونَ
yuñfiq̣oona
they spend
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
وَهُمۡ
wa-hum
while they
كَٰرِهُونَ
kaarihoon.
(are) unwilling

فَلَا
Falaa
So (let) not
تُعۡجِبۡكَ
tuʻjibka
impress you
أَمۡوَٰلُهُمۡ
ʹamwaaluhum
their wealth
وَلَآ
wa-laaa
and not
أَوۡلَٰدُهُمۡۚ
ʹawlaaduhum.
their children
إِنَّمَا
ʹInnamaa
Only
يُرِيدُ
yureedul
Allah intends
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah intends
لِيُعَذِّبَهُم
liyuʻaẓẓibahum̃
to punish them
بِهَا
bihaa
with it
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ
ḥayaatid
the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
dunyaa
(of) the world
وَتَزۡهَقَ
wa-tazhaq̣a
and should depart
أَنفُسُهُمۡ
ʹañfusuhum
their souls
وَهُمۡ
wa-hum
while they
كَٰفِرُونَ
kaafiroon.
(are) disbelievers
٥٥
9:56
وَيَحۡلِفُونَ
Wa-yaḥlifoona
And they swear
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
by Allah
إِنَّهُمۡ
ʹinnahum
indeed they
لَمِنكُمۡ
lamiñkum;
surely (are) of you
وَمَا
wa-maa
while not
هُم
hum
they
مِّنكُمۡ
miñkum
(are) of you
وَلَٰكِنَّهُمۡ
wa-laakinnahum
but they
قَوۡمٞ
q̣awmuñy
(are) a people
يَفۡرَقُونَ
yafraq̣oon.
(who) are afraid
٥٦
9:57
لَوۡ
Law
If
يَجِدُونَ
yajidoona
they could find
مَلۡجَـًٔا
maljaʹan
a refuge
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
مَغَٰرَٰتٍ
mag̣aaraatin
caves
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
مُدَّخَلٗا
muddakhalal
a place to enter
لَّوَلَّوۡاْ
lawallaw
surely they would turn
إِلَيۡهِ
ʹilayhi
to it
وَهُمۡ
wa-hum
and they
يَجۡمَحُونَ
yajmaḥoon.
run wild
٥٧
9:58
وَمِنۡهُم
Wa-minhum
And among them
مَّن
mañy
(is he) who
يَلۡمِزُكَ
yalmizuka
criticizes you
فِي
fiṣ
concerning
ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ
ṣadaq̣aat:
the charities
فَإِنۡ
faʹin
Then if
أُعۡطُواْ
ʹuʻṭoo
they are given
مِنۡهَا
minhaa
from it
رَضُواْ
raḍoo
they are pleased
وَإِن
wa-ʹil
but if
لَّمۡ
lam
not
يُعۡطَوۡاْ
yuʻṭaw
they are given
مِنۡهَآ
minhaaa
from it
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
then
هُمۡ
hum
they
يَسۡخَطُونَ
yaskhaṭoon!
(are) enraged
٥٨
9:59
وَلَوۡ
Wa-law
And if
أَنَّهُمۡ
ʹannahum
[that] they
رَضُواْ
raḍoo
(were) satisfied
مَآ
maaa
(with) what
ءَاتَىٰهُمُ
ʹaataahumul
Allah gave them
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah gave them
وَرَسُولُهُۥ
wa-Rasooluhoo
and His Messenger
وَقَالُواْ
wa-q̣aaloo
and said
حَسۡبُنَا
ḥasbunal
Sufficient for us
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
(is) Allah
سَيُؤۡتِينَا
sayuʹteenal
Allah will give us
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah will give us
مِن
miñ
of
فَضۡلِهِۦ
faḍlihee
His Bounty
وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ
wa-Rasooluhooo
and His Messenger
إِنَّآ
ʹinnaaa
Indeed we
إِلَى
ʹilal
to
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
رَٰغِبُونَ
raag̣iboon.
turn our hopes
٥٩
9:60
۞إِنَّمَا
ʹInnamaṣ
Only
ٱلصَّدَقَٰتُ
Ṣadaq̣aatu
the charities
لِلۡفُقَرَآءِ
lilfuq̣araaaʹi
(are) for the poor
وَٱلۡمَسَٰكِينِ
walmasaakeeni
and the needy
وَٱلۡعَٰمِلِينَ
wal-ʻaamileena
and those who collect
عَلَيۡهَا
ʻalayhaa
them
وَٱلۡمُؤَلَّفَةِ
wal-muʹallafati
and the ones inclined
قُلُوبُهُمۡ
q̣uloobuhum
their hearts
وَفِي
wa-fir
and in
ٱلرِّقَابِ
riq̣aabi
the (freeing of) the necks
وَٱلۡغَٰرِمِينَ
walg̣aarimeena
and for those in debt
وَفِي
wa-fee
and in
سَبِيلِ
Sabeelil
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
وَٱبۡنِ
wabnis
and the wayfarer
ٱلسَّبِيلِۖ
sabeel:
and the wayfarer
فَرِيضَةٗ
fareeḍatam
an obligation
مِّنَ
minal
from
ٱللَّهِۗ
laah,
Allah
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-laahu
And Allah
عَلِيمٌ
ʻAleemun
(is) All-Knowing
حَكِيمٞ
Ḥakeem.
All-Wise
٦٠
9:61
وَمِنۡهُمُ
Wa-minhumul
And among them
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
(are) those who
يُؤۡذُونَ
yuʹẓoonan
hurt
ٱلنَّبِيَّ
Nabiyya
the Prophet
وَيَقُولُونَ
wa-yaq̣ooloona
and they say
هُوَ
Huwa
He is
أُذُنٞۚ
ʹuẓun.
(all) ear
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
أُذُنُ
ʹuẓunu
An ear
خَيۡرٖ
khayril
(of) goodness
لَّكُمۡ
lakum
for you
يُؤۡمِنُ
yuʹminu
he believes
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
in Allah
وَيُؤۡمِنُ
wa-yuʹminu
and believes
لِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
lil-muʹmineena
the believers
وَرَحۡمَةٞ
wa-Raḥmatul
and (is) a mercy
لِّلَّذِينَ
lil-laẓeena
to those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believe
مِنكُمۡۚ
miñkum.
among you
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
And those who
يُؤۡذُونَ
yuʹẓoona
hurt
رَسُولَ
Rasoolal
(the) Messenger
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
عَذَابٌ
ʻaẓaabun
(is) a punishment
أَلِيمٞ
ʹaleem.

يَحۡلِفُونَ
Yaḥlifoona
They swear
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
by Allah
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
لِيُرۡضُوكُمۡ
liyurḍookum:
to please you
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
And Allah
وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ
wa-Rasooluhooo
and His Messenger
أَحَقُّ
ʹaḥaq̣q̣u
(have) more right
أَن
ʹañy
that
يُرۡضُوهُ
yurzoohu
they should please Him
إِن
ʹiñ
if
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they are
مُؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineen.
believers
٦٢
9:63
أَلَمۡ
ʹAlam
Do not
يَعۡلَمُوٓاْ
yaʻlamooo
they know
أَنَّهُۥ
ʹannahoo
that he
مَن
mañy
who
يُحَادِدِ
yuḥaadidil
opposes
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ
wa-Rasoolahoo
and His Messenger
فَأَنَّ
faʹanna
[then] that
لَهُۥ
lahoo
for him
نَارَ
naara
(is the) Fire
جَهَنَّمَ
Jahannama
(of) Hell
خَٰلِدٗا
khaalidañ
(will) abide forever
فِيهَاۚ
feehaa.
in it
ذَٰلِكَ
Ẓaalikal
That
ٱلۡخِزۡيُ
khizyul
(is) the disgrace
ٱلۡعَظِيمُ
ʻaz̤̣eem.
the great
٦٣
9:64
يَحۡذَرُ
Yaḥẓarul
Fear
ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقُونَ
Munaafiq̣oona
the hypocrites
أَن
ʹañ
lest
تُنَزَّلَ
tunazzala
be revealed
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
about them
سُورَةٞ
sooratuñ
a Surah
تُنَبِّئُهُم
tunabbiʹuhum̃
informing them
بِمَا
bimaa
of what
فِي
fee
(is) in
قُلُوبِهِمۡۚ
q̣uloobihim.
their hearts
قُلِ
Q̣ulis
Say
ٱسۡتَهۡزِءُوٓاْ
tahziʹoo!
Mock
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
مُخۡرِجٞ
mukhrijum
(will) bring forth
مَّا
maa
what
تَحۡذَرُونَ
taḥẓaroon.
you fear
٦٤
9:65
وَلَئِن
Wa-laʹiñ
And if
سَأَلۡتَهُمۡ
saʹaltahum
you ask them
لَيَقُولُنَّ
layaq̣oolunna
surely they will say
إِنَّمَا
ʹinnamaa
Only
كُنَّا
kunnaa
we were
نَخُوضُ
nakhooḍu
conversing
وَنَلۡعَبُۚ
wa-nalʻab.
and playing
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
أَبِٱللَّهِ
ʹabillaahi
Is it Allah
وَءَايَٰتِهِۦ
wa-ʹAayaatihee
and His Verses
وَرَسُولِهِۦ
wa-Rasoolihee
and His Messenger
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
(that) you were
تَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ
tastahziʹoon.
mocking
٦٥
9:66
لَا
Laa-
(Do) not
تَعۡتَذِرُواْ
taʻtaẓiroo
make excuse
قَدۡ
q̣ad
verily
كَفَرۡتُم
kafartum
you have disbelieved
بَعۡدَ
baʻda
after
إِيمَٰنِكُمۡۚ
ʹeemaanikum.
your belief
إِن
ʹIn
If
نَّعۡفُ
naʻfu
We pardon
عَن
ʻañ
[on]
طَآئِفَةٖ
ṭaaaʹifatim
a party
مِّنكُمۡ
miñkum
of you
نُعَذِّبۡ
nuʻaẓẓib
We will punish
طَآئِفَةَۢ
ṭaaaʹifatam
a party
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
biʹannahum
because they
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
were
مُجۡرِمِينَ
mujrimeen.
criminals
٦٦
9:67
ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقُونَ
ʹAl-Munaafiq̣oona
The hypocrite men
وَٱلۡمُنَٰفِقَٰتُ
wal-Munaafiq̣aatu
and the hypocrite women
بَعۡضُهُم
baʻḍuhum
some of them
مِّنۢ
mim
(are) of
بَعۡضٖۚ
baʻḍ.
others
يَأۡمُرُونَ
Yaʹmuroona
They enjoin
بِٱلۡمُنكَرِ
bilmuñkari
the wrong
وَيَنۡهَوۡنَ
wa-yanhawna
and forbid
عَنِ
ʻanil
what
ٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ
maʻroofi
(is) the right
وَيَقۡبِضُونَ
wa-yaq̣biḍoona
and they close
أَيۡدِيَهُمۡۚ
ʹaydiyahum.
their hands
نَسُواْ
Nasul
They forget
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
فَنَسِيَهُمۡۚ
fanasiyahum.
so He has forgotten them
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ
Munaafiq̣eena
the hypocrites
هُمُ
humul
they (are)
ٱلۡفَٰسِقُونَ
faasiq̣oon.
the defiantly disobedient
٦٧
9:68
وَعَدَ
Waʻadal
Allah has promised
ٱللَّهُ
laahul
Allah has promised
ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ
Munaafiq̣eena
the hypocrite men
وَٱلۡمُنَٰفِقَٰتِ
wal-Munaafiq̣aati
and the hypocrite women
وَٱلۡكُفَّارَ
wal-Kuffaara
and the disbelievers
نَارَ
naara
Fire
جَهَنَّمَ
Jahannama
(of) Hell
خَٰلِدِينَ
khaalideena
they (will) abide forever
فِيهَاۚ
feehaa.
in it
هِيَ
Hiya
It (is)
حَسۡبُهُمۡۚ
ḥasbuhum:
sufficient for them
وَلَعَنَهُمُ
wa-laʻanahumul
And Allah has cursed them
ٱللَّهُۖ
laah,
And Allah has cursed them
وَلَهُمۡ
wa-lahum
and for them
عَذَابٞ
ʻaẓaabum
(is) a punishment
مُّقِيمٞ
muq̣eem.
enduring

كَٱلَّذِينَ
Kallaẓeena
Like those
مِن
miñ
before you
قَبۡلِكُمۡ
q̣ablikum
before you
كَانُوٓاْ
kaanooo
they were
أَشَدَّ
ʹashadda
mightier
مِنكُمۡ
miñkum
than you
قُوَّةٗ
q̣uwwatañw
(in) strength
وَأَكۡثَرَ
waʹaks̤ara
and more abundant
أَمۡوَٰلٗا
ʹamwaalañw
(in) wealth
وَأَوۡلَٰدٗا
Waʹawlaadaa.
and children
فَٱسۡتَمۡتَعُواْ
Fastamtaʻoo
So they enjoyed
بِخَلَٰقِهِمۡ
bikhalaaq̣ihim
their portion
فَٱسۡتَمۡتَعۡتُم
fastamtaʻtum̃
and you have enjoyed
بِخَلَٰقِكُمۡ
bikhalaaq̣ikum
your portion
كَمَا
kamas
like
ٱسۡتَمۡتَعَ
tamtaʻal
enjoyed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those
مِن
miñ
before you
قَبۡلِكُم
q̣ablikum̃
before you
بِخَلَٰقِهِمۡ
bikhalaaq̣ihim
their portion
وَخُضۡتُمۡ
wa-khuḍtum
and you indulge
كَٱلَّذِي
kallaẓee
like the one who
خَاضُوٓاْۚ
khaaḍoo.
indulges (in idle talk)
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹUlaaaʹika
Those
حَبِطَتۡ
ḥabiṭat
worthless
أَعۡمَٰلُهُمۡ
ʹaʻmaaluhum
(are) their deeds
فِي
fid
in
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
dunyaa
the world
وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۖ
wal-ʹAakhirah;
and (in) the Hereafter
وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
wa-ʹulaaaʹika
And those
هُمُ
humul
they
ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ
khaasiroon.
(are) the losers
٦٩
9:70
أَلَمۡ
ʹAlam
Has not
يَأۡتِهِمۡ
yaʹtihim
come to them
نَبَأُ
naba
(the) news
ٱلَّذِينَ
ʹullaẓeena
(of) those who
مِن
miñ
(were) before them
قَبۡلِهِمۡ
q̣ablihim
(were) before them
قَوۡمِ
q̣awmi
(the) people
نُوحٖ
Nooḥiñw
(of) Nuh
وَعَادٖ
WaʻAadiñw
and Aad
وَثَمُودَ
wa-S̤amooda
and Thamud
وَقَوۡمِ
wa-q̣awmi
and (the) people
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
ʹIbraaheema
(of) Ibrahim
وَأَصۡحَٰبِ
wa-ʹAṣḥaabi
and (the) companions
مَدۡيَنَ
Madyana
(of) Madyan
وَٱلۡمُؤۡتَفِكَٰتِۚ
wal-Muʹtafikaat.
and the towns overturned
أَتَتۡهُمۡ
ʹAtathum
Came to them
رُسُلُهُم
rusuluhum̃
their Messengers
بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِۖ
bilbayyinaat.
with clear proofs
فَمَا
Famaa
And not
كَانَ
kaanal
was
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
لِيَظۡلِمَهُمۡ
liyaz̤̣limahum
to wrong them
وَلَٰكِن
wa-laakiñ
but
كَانُوٓاْ
kaanooo
they were (to)
أَنفُسَهُمۡ
ʹañfusahum
themselves
يَظۡلِمُونَ
yaz̤̣limoon.
doing wrong
٧٠
9:71
وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
Wal-Muʹminoona
And the believing men
وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتُ
Wal-Muʹminaatu
and the believing women
بَعۡضُهُمۡ
baʻḍuhum
some of them
أَوۡلِيَآءُ
ʹawliyaaaʹu
(are) allies
بَعۡضٖۚ
baʻḍ.
(of) others
يَأۡمُرُونَ
Yaʹmuroona
They enjoin
بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ
bilmaʻroofi
the right
وَيَنۡهَوۡنَ
wa-yanhawna
and forbid
عَنِ
ʻanil
from
ٱلۡمُنكَرِ
muñkari
the wrong
وَيُقِيمُونَ
wa-yuq̣eemoonaṣ
and they establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
Ṣalaata
the prayer
وَيُؤۡتُونَ
wa-yuʹtoonaz
and give
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ
Zakaata
the zakah
وَيُطِيعُونَ
wa-yuṭeeʻoonal
and they obey
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥٓۚ
wa-Rasoolah.
and His Messenger
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹUlaaaʹika
Those
سَيَرۡحَمُهُمُ
sayarḥamuhumul
Allah will have mercy on them
ٱللَّهُۗ
laah;
Allah will have mercy on them
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
عَزِيزٌ
ʻAzeezun
(is) All-Mighty
حَكِيمٞ
Ḥakeem.
All-Wise
٧١
9:72
وَعَدَ
Waʻadal
(Has been) promised
ٱللَّهُ
laahul
(by) Allah
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹ-mineena
(to) the believing men
وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ
wal-Muʹminaati
and the believing women
جَنَّٰتٖ
Jannaatiñ
Gardens
تَجۡرِي
tajree
flow
مِن
miñ
from
تَحۡتِهَا
taḥtihal
underneath it
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ
ʹanhaaru
the rivers
خَٰلِدِينَ
khaalideena
(will) abide forever
فِيهَا
feehaa
in it
وَمَسَٰكِنَ
wa-masaakina
and dwellings
طَيِّبَةٗ
ṭayyibatañ
blessed
فِي
fee
in
جَنَّٰتِ
Jannaati
Gardens
عَدۡنٖۚ
ʻAdn.
(of) everlasting bliss
وَرِضۡوَٰنٞ
Wa-Riḍwaanum
But the pleasure
مِّنَ
minal
of
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
أَكۡبَرُۚ
ʹakbar:
(is) greater
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
That
هُوَ
huwal
it
ٱلۡفَوۡزُ
fawzul
(is) the success
ٱلۡعَظِيمُ
ʻaz̤̣eem.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhan
O Prophet
ٱلنَّبِيُّ
Nabiyyu
O Prophet
جَٰهِدِ
jaahidil
Strive (against)
ٱلۡكُفَّارَ
kuffaara
the disbelievers
وَٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ
wal-Munaafiq̣eena
and the hypocrites
وَٱغۡلُظۡ
wag̣luz̤̣
and be stern
عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ
ʻalayhim.
with them
وَمَأۡوَىٰهُمۡ
Wa-maʹwaahum
And their abode
جَهَنَّمُۖ
Jahannam:
(is) Hell
وَبِئۡسَ
wa-biʹsal
and wretched
ٱلۡمَصِيرُ
maṣeer.
(is) the destination
٧٣
9:74
يَحۡلِفُونَ
Yaḥlifoona
They swear
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
by Allah
مَا
maa-
(that) they said nothing
قَالُواْ
q̣aaloo.
(that) they said nothing
وَلَقَدۡ
Wa-laq̣ad
while certainly
قَالُواْ
q̣aaloo
they said
كَلِمَةَ
kalimatal
(the) word
ٱلۡكُفۡرِ
kufri
(of) the disbelief
وَكَفَرُواْ
wa-kafaroo
and disbelieved
بَعۡدَ
baʻda
after
إِسۡلَٰمِهِمۡ
ʹIslaamihim
their (pretense of) Islam
وَهَمُّواْ
wa-hammoo
and planned
بِمَا
bimaa
[of] what
لَمۡ
lam
not
يَنَالُواْۚ
yanaaloo:
they could attain
وَمَا
wa-maa
And not
نَقَمُوٓاْ
naq̣amooo
they were resentful
إِلَّآ
ʹillaaa
except
أَنۡ
ʹan
that
أَغۡنَىٰهُمُ
ʹag̣naahumul
Allah had enriched them
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah had enriched them
وَرَسُولُهُۥ
wa-Rasooluhoo
and His Messenger
مِن
miñ
of
فَضۡلِهِۦۚ
faḍlih!
His Bounty
فَإِن
Faʹiñy
So if
يَتُوبُواْ
yatooboo
they repent
يَكُ
yaku
it is
خَيۡرٗا
khayral
better
لَّهُمۡۖ
lahum;
for them
وَإِن
wa-ʹiñy
and if
يَتَوَلَّوۡاْ
yatawal-law
they turn away
يُعَذِّبۡهُمُ
yuʻaẓẓibhumul
Allah will punish them
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah will punish them
عَذَابًا
ʻaẓaaban
(with) a punishment
أَلِيمٗا
ʻaleemañ
painful
فِي
fid
in
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
dunyaa
the world
وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۚ
wal-ʹAakhirah;
and (in) the Hereafter
وَمَا
wa-maa
And not
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
مِن
miñw
any
وَلِيّٖ
waliyyiñw
protector
وَلَا
walaa
and not
نَصِيرٖ
naṣeer.
a helper
٧٤
9:75
۞وَمِنۡهُم
Wa-minhum
And among them
مَّنۡ
man
(is he) who
عَٰهَدَ
ʻaahadal
made a covenant
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
(with) Allah
لَئِنۡ
laʹin
If
ءَاتَىٰنَا
ʹaataanaa
He gives us
مِن
miñ
of
فَضۡلِهِۦ
faḍlihee
His bounty
لَنَصَّدَّقَنَّ
lanaṣṣaddaq̣anna
surely we will give charity
وَلَنَكُونَنَّ
wa-lanakoonanna
and surely we will be
مِنَ
minaṣ
among
ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
Ṣaaliḥeen.
the righteous
٧٥
9:76
فَلَمَّآ
Falammaaa
But when
ءَاتَىٰهُم
ʹaataahum
He gave them
مِّن
miñ
of
فَضۡلِهِۦ
faḍlihee
His Bounty
بَخِلُواْ
bakhiloo
they became stingy
بِهِۦ
bihee
with it
وَتَوَلَّواْ
wa-tawallaw
and turned away
وَّهُم
wahum
while they
مُّعۡرِضُونَ
muʻriḍoon.
(were) averse
٧٦
9:77
فَأَعۡقَبَهُمۡ
Faʹaʻq̣abahum
So He penalized them
نِفَاقٗا
nifaaq̣añ
(with) hypocrisy
فِي
fee
in
قُلُوبِهِمۡ
q̣uloobihim
their hearts
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
until
يَوۡمِ
yawmi
the day
يَلۡقَوۡنَهُۥ
yalq̣awnahoo
when they will meet Him
بِمَآ
bimaaa
because
أَخۡلَفُواْ
ʹakhlaful
they broke
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
(the covenant with) Allah
مَا
maa-
what
وَعَدُوهُ
waʻadoohu
they had promised Him
وَبِمَا
wa-bimaa
and because
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they used to
يَكۡذِبُونَ
yakẓiboon.
lie
٧٧
9:78
أَلَمۡ
ʹAlam
Do not
يَعۡلَمُوٓاْ
yaʻlamooo
they know
أَنَّ
ʹannal
that
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
yaʻlamu
knows
سِرَّهُمۡ
sirrahum
their secret
وَنَجۡوَىٰهُمۡ
wa-najwaahum
and their secret conversation
وَأَنَّ
wa-ʹannal
and that
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
عَلَّٰمُ
ʻAllaamul
(is) All-Knower
ٱلۡغُيُوبِ
g̣uyoob.
(of) the unseen
٧٨
9:79
ٱلَّذِينَ
ʹAllaẓeena
Those who
يَلۡمِزُونَ
yalmizoonal
criticize
ٱلۡمُطَّوِّعِينَ
muṭṭawwiʻeena
the ones who give willingly
مِنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineena
the believers
فِي
fiṣ
concerning
ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ
ṣadaq̣aati
the charities
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wallaẓeena
and those who
لَا
laa-
not
يَجِدُونَ
yajidoona
find
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
جُهۡدَهُمۡ
juhdahum
their effort
فَيَسۡخَرُونَ
fayaskharoona
so they ridicule
مِنۡهُمۡ
minhum,―
them
سَخِرَ
sakhiral
Allah will ridicule
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah will ridicule
مِنۡهُمۡ
minhum:
them
وَلَهُمۡ
wa-lahum
and for them
عَذَابٌ
ʻaẓaabun
(is) a punishment
أَلِيمٌ
ʹaleem.

ٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡ
ʹIstag̣fir
Ask forgiveness
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
لَا
laa-
(do) not
تَسۡتَغۡفِرۡ

ask forgiveness
لَهُمۡ
lahum:
for them
إِن
ʹiñ
If
تَسۡتَغۡفِرۡ
tastag̣fir
you ask forgiveness
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
سَبۡعِينَ
sabʻeena
seventy
مَرَّةٗ
marratañ
times
فَلَن
falañy
never
يَغۡفِرَ
yag̣firal
will Allah forgive
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
will Allah forgive
لَهُمۡۚ
lahum.
[for] them
ذَٰلِكَ
Ẓaalika
That
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
biʹannahum
(is) because they
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieved
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
in Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦۗ
wa-Rasoolih:
and His Messenger
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
and Allah
لَا
laa-
(does) not
يَهۡدِي
yahdil
guide
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ
q̣awmal
the people
ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ
faasiq̣een.
the defiantly disobedient
٨٠
9:81
فَرِحَ
Fariḥal
Rejoice
ٱلۡمُخَلَّفُونَ
mukhallafoona
those who remained behind
بِمَقۡعَدِهِمۡ
bimaq̣ʻadihim
in their staying
خِلَٰفَ
khilaafa
behind
رَسُولِ
Rasoolil
(the) Messenger
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
وَكَرِهُوٓاْ
wa-karihooo
and they disliked
أَن
ʹañy
to
يُجَٰهِدُواْ
yujaahidoo
strive
بِأَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ
biʹamwaalihim
with their wealth
وَأَنفُسِهِمۡ
wa-ʹañfusihim
and their lives
فِي
fee
in
سَبِيلِ
Sabeelil
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
وَقَالُواْ
waq̣aaloo
and they said
لَا
laa-
(Do) not
تَنفِرُواْ
tañfiroo
go forth
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡحَرِّۗ
ḥarr.
the heat
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
نَارُ
Naaru
(The) Fire
جَهَنَّمَ
Jahannama
(of) Hell
أَشَدُّ
ʹashaddu
(is) more intense
حَرّٗاۚ
ḥarraa:
(in) heat
لَّوۡ
Law
If (only)
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they could
يَفۡقَهُونَ
yafq̣ahoon!
understand
٨١
9:82
فَلۡيَضۡحَكُواْ
Falyaḍḥakoo
So let them laugh
قَلِيلٗا
q̣aleelañw
a little
وَلۡيَبۡكُواْ
walyabkoo
and let them weep
كَثِيرٗا
kas̤eeraa:
much
جَزَآءَۢ
jazaaaʹam
(as) a recompense
بِمَا
bimaa
for what
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they used to
يَكۡسِبُونَ
yaksiboon.
earn
٨٢
9:83
فَإِن
Faʹir
Then if
رَّجَعَكَ
rajaʻakal
Allah returns you
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah returns you
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
طَآئِفَةٖ
ṭaaaʹifatim
a group
مِّنۡهُمۡ
minhum
of them
فَٱسۡتَـٔۡذَنُوكَ
fastaʹẓanooka
and they ask you permission
لِلۡخُرُوجِ
lilkhurooji
to go out
فَقُل
faq̣ul
then say
لَّن
lañ
Never
تَخۡرُجُواْ
takhrujoo
will you come out
مَعِيَ
maʻiya
with me
أَبَدٗا
ʹabadañw
ever
وَلَن
Walañ
and never
تُقَٰتِلُواْ
tuq̣aatiloo
will you fight
مَعِيَ
maʻiya
with me
عَدُوًّاۖ
ʻaduwwaa.
any enemy
إِنَّكُمۡ
ʹInnakum
Indeed you
رَضِيتُم
raḍeetum̃
were satisfied
بِٱلۡقُعُودِ
bilq̣uʻoodi
with sitting
أَوَّلَ
ʹawwala
(the) first
مَرَّةٖ
marratiñ
time
فَٱقۡعُدُواْ
faq̣ʻudoo
so sit
مَعَ
maʻal
with
ٱلۡخَٰلِفِينَ
khaalifeen.
those who stay behind
٨٣
9:84
وَلَا
Wa-laa
And not
تُصَلِّ
tuṣalli
you pray
عَلَىٰٓ
ʻalaaa
for
أَحَدٖ
ʹaḥadim
any
مِّنۡهُم
minhum
of them
مَّاتَ
maata
who dies
أَبَدٗا
ʹabadañw
ever
وَلَا
Walaa
and not
تَقُمۡ
taq̣um
you stand
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
by
قَبۡرِهِۦٓۖ
q̣abrih.
his grave
إِنَّهُمۡ
ʹInnahum
Indeed they
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieved
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
in Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦ
wa-Rasoolihee
and His Messenger
وَمَاتُواْ
wa-maatoo
and died
وَهُمۡ
wa-hum
while they were
فَٰسِقُونَ
faasiq̣oon.
defiantly disobedient
٨٤
9:85
وَلَا
Wa-laa
And (let) not
تُعۡجِبۡكَ
tuʻjibka
impress you
أَمۡوَٰلُهُمۡ
ʹamwaaluhum
their wealth
وَأَوۡلَٰدُهُمۡۚ
wa-ʹawlaaduhum!
and their children
إِنَّمَا
ʹInnamaa
Only
يُرِيدُ
yureedul
Allah intends
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah intends
أَن
ʹañy
to
يُعَذِّبَهُم
yuʻaẓẓibahum̃
punish them
بِهَا
bihaa
with it
فِي
fid
in
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
dunyaa
the world
وَتَزۡهَقَ
wa-tazhaq̣a
and will depart
أَنفُسُهُمۡ
ʹañfusuhum
their souls
وَهُمۡ
wa-hum
while they
كَٰفِرُونَ
kaafiroon.
(are) disbelievers
٨٥
9:86
وَإِذَآ
Wa-ʹiẓaaa
And when
أُنزِلَتۡ
ʹuñzilat
was revealed
سُورَةٌ
Sooratun
a Surah
أَنۡ
ʹan
that
ءَامِنُواْ
ʹaaminoo
believe
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
in Allah
وَجَٰهِدُواْ
wa-jaahidoo
and strive
مَعَ
maʻa
with
رَسُولِهِ
Rasoolihis
His Messenger
ٱسۡتَـٔۡذَنَكَ
taʹẓanaka
ask your permission
أُوْلُواْ
ʹuluṭ
(the) men
ٱلطَّوۡلِ
ṭawli
(of) wealth
مِنۡهُمۡ
minhum
among them
وَقَالُواْ
wa-q̣aaloo
and said
ذَرۡنَا
ẓarnaa
Leave us
نَكُن
nakum
(to) be
مَّعَ
maʻal
with
ٱلۡقَٰعِدِينَ
q̣aaʻideen.
those who sit
٨٦

رَضُواْ
Raḍoo
They (were) satisfied
بِأَن
biʹañy
to
يَكُونُواْ
yakoonoo
be
مَعَ
maʻal
with
ٱلۡخَوَالِفِ
khawaalifi
those who stay behind
وَطُبِعَ
waṭubiʻa
and were sealed
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
[on]
قُلُوبِهِمۡ
q̣uloobihim
their hearts
فَهُمۡ
fahum
so they
لَا
laa-
(do) not
يَفۡقَهُونَ
yafq̣ahoon.
understand
٨٧
9:88
لَٰكِنِ
Laakinir
But
ٱلرَّسُولُ
Rasoolu
the Messenger
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wal-laẓeena
and those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believed
مَعَهُۥ
maʻahoo
with him
جَٰهَدُواْ
jaahadoo
strove
بِأَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ
biʹamwaalihim
with their wealth
وَأَنفُسِهِمۡۚ
wa-ʹañfusihim.
and their lives
وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
Wa-ʹulaaaʹika
And those
لَهُمُ
lahumul
for them
ٱلۡخَيۡرَٰتُۖ
khayraat:
(are) the good things
وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
wa-ʹulaaaʹika
and those
هُمُ
humul
they
ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ
Mufliḥoon.
(are) the successful ones
٨٨
9:89
أَعَدَّ
ʹAʻaddal
Allah has prepared
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah has prepared
لَهُمۡ
Lahum
for them
جَنَّٰتٖ
Jannaatiñ
Gardens
تَجۡرِي
tajree
flows
مِن
miñ
from
تَحۡتِهَا
taḥtihal
underneath it
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ
ʹanhaaru
the rivers
خَٰلِدِينَ
khaalideena
(will) abide forever
فِيهَاۚ
feehaa:
in it
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalikal
That
ٱلۡفَوۡزُ
fawzul
(is) the success
ٱلۡعَظِيمُ
ʻaz̤̣eem.
the great
٨٩
9:90
وَجَآءَ
Wa-jaaaʹal
And came
ٱلۡمُعَذِّرُونَ
muʻaẓẓiroona
the ones who make excuses
مِنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡأَعۡرَابِ
ʹAʻraabi
the bedouins
لِيُؤۡذَنَ
liyuʹẓana
that permission be granted
لَهُمۡ
lahum
to them
وَقَعَدَ
wa-q̣aʻadal
and sat
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَذَبُواْ
kaẓabul
lied
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
(to) Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥۚ
wa-Rasoolah.
and His Messenger
سَيُصِيبُ
Sayuṣeebul
Will strike
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieved
مِنۡهُمۡ
minhum
among them
عَذَابٌ
ʻaẓaabun
a punishment
أَلِيمٞ
ʹaleem.
painful
٩٠
9:91
لَّيۡسَ
Laysa
Not
عَلَى
ʻalaḍ
on
ٱلضُّعَفَآءِ
ḍuʻafaaaʹi
the weak
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
عَلَى
ʻalal
on
ٱلۡمَرۡضَىٰ
marḍaa
the sick
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
عَلَى
ʻalal
on
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
لَا
laa-
not
يَجِدُونَ
yajidoona
they find
مَا
maa-
what
يُنفِقُونَ
yuñfiq̣oona
they (can) spend
حَرَجٌ
ḥarajun
any blame
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
if
نَصَحُواْ
naṣaḥoo
they (are) sincere
لِلَّهِ
lillaahi
to Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦۚ
wa-Rasoolih:
and His Messenger
مَا
maa-
Not
عَلَى
ʻalal
(is) on
ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
Muḥsineena
the good-doers
مِن
miñ
any
سَبِيلٖۚ
sabeel:
way (for blame)
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
And Allah
غَفُورٞ
G̣afoorur
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٞ
Raḥeem.
Most Merciful
٩١
9:92
وَلَا
Wa-laa
And not
عَلَى
ʻalal
on
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
when
مَآ
maaa
when
أَتَوۡكَ
ʹatawka
they came to you
لِتَحۡمِلَهُمۡ
litaḥmilahum
that you provide them with mounts
قُلۡتَ
q̣ulta
you said
لَآ
laaa
Not
أَجِدُ
ʹajidu
I find
مَآ
maaa
what
أَحۡمِلُكُمۡ
ʹaḥmilukum
to mount you
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
on [it]
تَوَلَّواْ
tawallaw
They turned back
وَّأَعۡيُنُهُمۡ
waʹaʻyunuhum
with their eyes
تَفِيضُ
tafeeḍu
flowing
مِنَ
minad
[of]
ٱلدَّمۡعِ
damʻi
(with) the tears
حَزَنًا
ḥazanan
(of) sorrow
أَلَّا
ʹallaa
that not
يَجِدُواْ
yajidoo
they find
مَا
maa-
what
يُنفِقُونَ
yuñfiq̣oon.
they (could) spend
٩٢
9:93
۞إِنَّمَا
ʹInnamas
Only
ٱلسَّبِيلُ
sabeelu
the way (blame)
عَلَى
ʻalal
(is) on
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
يَسۡتَـٔۡذِنُونَكَ
yastaʹẓinoonaka
ask your permission
وَهُمۡ
wa-hum
while they
أَغۡنِيَآءُۚ
ʹag̣niyaaaʹ.
(are) rich
رَضُواْ
Raḍoo
They (are) satisfied
بِأَن
biʹañy
to
يَكُونُواْ
yakoonoo
be
مَعَ
maʻal
with
ٱلۡخَوَالِفِ
khawaalifi
those who stay behind
وَطَبَعَ
waṭabaʻal
and Allah sealed
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
and Allah sealed
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
[on]
قُلُوبِهِمۡ
q̣uloobihim
their hearts
فَهُمۡ
fahum
so they
لَا
laa-
(do) not
يَعۡلَمُونَ
yaʻlamoon.

٩٣

يَعۡتَذِرُونَ
Yaʻtaẓiroona
They will make excuses
إِلَيۡكُمۡ
ʹilaykum
to you
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
when
رَجَعۡتُمۡ
rajaʻtum
you (have) returned
إِلَيۡهِمۡۚ
ʹilayhim.
to them
قُل
Q̣ul
Say
لَّا
laa
(Do) not
تَعۡتَذِرُواْ
taʻtaẓiroo
make excuse
لَن
lan
never
نُّؤۡمِنَ
nuʹmina
we will believe
لَكُمۡ
lakum
you
قَدۡ
q̣ad
Verily
نَبَّأَنَا
nabbaʹanal
Allah (has) informed us
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah (has) informed us
مِنۡ
min
of
أَخۡبَارِكُمۡۚ
ʹakhbaarikum:
your news
وَسَيَرَى
wa-sayaral
and Allah will see
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
and Allah will see
عَمَلَكُمۡ
ʻamalakum
your deeds
وَرَسُولُهُۥ
wa-Rasooluhoo
and His Messenger
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
Then
تُرَدُّونَ
turaddoona
you will be brought back
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
عَٰلِمِ
ʻAalimil
(the) Knower
ٱلۡغَيۡبِ
g̣aybi
(of) the unseen
وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ
washshahaadati
and the seen
فَيُنَبِّئُكُم
fayunabbiʹukum̃
then He will inform you
بِمَا
bimaa
of what
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you used (to)
تَعۡمَلُونَ
taʻmaloon.
do
٩٤
9:95
سَيَحۡلِفُونَ
Sayaḥlifoona
They will swear
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
by Allah
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
إِذَا
ʹiẓañ
when
ٱنقَلَبۡتُمۡ
q̣alabtum
you returned
إِلَيۡهِمۡ
ʹilayhim
to them
لِتُعۡرِضُواْ
lituʻriḍoo
that you may turn away
عَنۡهُمۡۖ
ʻanhum.
from them
فَأَعۡرِضُواْ
Faʹaʻriḍoo
So turn away
عَنۡهُمۡۖ
ʻanhum:
from them
إِنَّهُمۡ
ʹinnahum
indeed they
رِجۡسٞۖ
rijsuñw
(are) impure
وَمَأۡوَىٰهُمۡ
wamaʹwaahum
and their abode
جَهَنَّمُ
Jahannam,―
(is) Hell
جَزَآءَۢ
jazaaaʹam
a recompense
بِمَا
bi
for what
كَانُواْ
maakaanoo
they used (to)
يَكۡسِبُونَ
yaksiboon.
earn
٩٥
9:96
يَحۡلِفُونَ
Yaḥlifoona
They swear
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
لِتَرۡضَوۡاْ
litarḍaw
that you may be pleased
عَنۡهُمۡۖ
ʻanhum.
with them
فَإِن
Faʹiñ
But if
تَرۡضَوۡاْ
tarḍaw
you are pleased
عَنۡهُمۡ
ʻanhum
with them
فَإِنَّ
faʹinnal
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
لَا
laa-
(is) not pleased
يَرۡضَىٰ
yarḍaa
(is) not pleased
عَنِ

ٱلۡقَوۡمِ
q̣awmil
the people
ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ
faasiq̣een.
(who are) defiantly disobedient

9:97
ٱلۡأَعۡرَابُ
ʹAlʹaʻraabu
The bedouins
أَشَدُّ
ʹashaddu
(are) stronger
كُفۡرٗا
kufrañw
(in) disbelief
وَنِفَاقٗا
wanifaaq̣añw
and hypocrisy
وَأَجۡدَرُ
waʹajdaru
and more likely
أَلَّا
ʹallaa
that not
يَعۡلَمُواْ
yaʻlamoo
they know
حُدُودَ
ḥudooda
(the) limits
مَآ
maaa
(of) what
أَنزَلَ
ʹañzalal
Allah (has) revealed
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah (has) revealed
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
to
رَسُولِهِۦۗ
Rasoolih:
His Messenger
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
And Allah
عَلِيمٌ
ʻAleemun
(is) All-Knower
حَكِيمٞ
Ḥakeem.
All-Wise
٩٧
9:98
وَمِنَ
Wa-minal
And among
ٱلۡأَعۡرَابِ
ʹAʻraabi
the bedouins
مَن
mañy
(is he) who
يَتَّخِذُ
yatṭakhiẓu
takes
مَا
maa-
what
يُنفِقُ
yuñfiq̣u
he spends
مَغۡرَمٗا
mag̣ramañw
(as) a loss
وَيَتَرَبَّصُ
wayatarabbaṣu
and he awaits
بِكُمُ
bikumud
for you
ٱلدَّوَآئِرَۚ
dawaaaʹir:
the turns (of misfortune)
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
Upon them
دَآئِرَةُ
daaaʹiratus
(will be) the turn
ٱلسَّوۡءِۗ
sawʹ:
(of) the evil
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
And Allah
سَمِيعٌ
sameeʻun
(is) All-Hearer
عَلِيمٞ
ʻAleem.
All-Knower
٩٨
9:99
وَمِنَ
Wa-minal
But among
ٱلۡأَعۡرَابِ
ʹAʻraabi
the bedouins
مَن
mañy
(is he) who
يُؤۡمِنُ
yuʹminu
believes
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
in Allah
وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ
wal-Yawmil
and the Day
ٱلۡأٓخِرِ
ʹAakhiri
the Last
وَيَتَّخِذُ
Wayattakhiẓu
and takes
مَا
maa-
what
يُنفِقُ
yuñfiq̣u
he spends
قُرُبَٰتٍ
q̣urubaatin
(as) means of nearness
عِندَ
ʻiñdal
with
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
وَصَلَوَٰتِ
wa-Ṣalawaatir
and blessings
ٱلرَّسُولِۚ
Rasool.
(of) the Messenger
أَلَآ
ʹAlaaa
Behold
إِنَّهَا
ʹinnahaa
Indeed it
قُرۡبَةٞ
q̣urbatul
(is) a means of nearness
لَّهُمۡۚ
lahum:
for them
سَيُدۡخِلُهُمُ
Sayudkhiluhumul
Allah will admit them
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah will admit them
فِي
fee
to
رَحۡمَتِهِۦٓۚ
Raḥmatih:
His Mercy
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
غَفُورٞ
G̣afoorur
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٞ
Raḥeem.
Most Merciful

وَٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ
Was-saabiq̣oonal
And the forerunners
ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ
ʹAwwaloona
the first
مِنَ
minal
among
ٱلۡمُهَٰجِرِينَ
Muhaajireena
the emigrants
وَٱلۡأَنصَارِ
wal-ʹAñṣaari
and the helpers
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wallaẓeenat
and those who
ٱتَّبَعُوهُم
tabaʻoohum̃
followed them
بِإِحۡسَٰنٖ
biʹiḥsaanir
in righteousness
رَّضِيَ
raḍiyal
Allah is pleased
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah is pleased
عَنۡهُمۡ
ʻanhum
with them
وَرَضُواْ
wa-raḍoo
and they are pleased
عَنۡهُ
ʻanhu
with Him
وَأَعَدَّ
wa-ʹaʻadda
And He has prepared
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
جَنَّٰتٖ
Jannaatiñ
Gardens
تَجۡرِي
tajree
flows
تَحۡتَهَا
taḥtahal
underneath it
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ
ʹanhaaru
the rivers
خَٰلِدِينَ
khaalideena
will abide
فِيهَآ
feehaaa
in it
أَبَدٗاۚ
ʹabadaa:
forever
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalikal
That
ٱلۡفَوۡزُ
fawzul
(is) the success
ٱلۡعَظِيمُ
ʻAz̤̣eem.
the great
١٠٠
