And on
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ
falyatawakkali
[so] let the believers put (their) trust
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
al-mu'minuna
[so] let the believers put (their) trust

9:52
قُلۡ
qul
Say
هَلۡ
hal
Do
تَرَبَّصُونَ
tarabbasuna
you await
بِنَآ
bina
for us
إِلَّآ
illa
except
إِحۡدَى
ih'da
one
ٱلۡحُسۡنَيَيۡنِۖ
al-hus'nayayni
(of) the two best (things)
وَنَحۡنُ
wanahnu
while we
نَتَرَبَّصُ
natarabbasu
[we] await
بِكُمۡ
bikum
for you
أَن
an
that
يُصِيبَكُمُ
yusibakumu
Allah will afflict you
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah will afflict you
بِعَذَابٖ
bi'adhabin
with a punishment
مِّنۡ
min
from
عِندِهِۦٓ
indihi
[near] Him
أَوۡ
aw
or
بِأَيۡدِينَاۖ
bi-aydina
by our hands
فَتَرَبَّصُوٓاْ
fatarabbasu
So wait
إِنَّا
inna
indeed we
مَعَكُم
ma'akum
with you
مُّتَرَبِّصُونَ
mutarabbisuna
(are) waiting
٥٢
9:53
قُلۡ
qul
Say
أَنفِقُواْ
anfiqu
Spend
طَوۡعًا
taw'an
willingly
أَوۡ
aw
or
كَرۡهٗا
karhan
unwillingly
لَّن
lan
never
يُتَقَبَّلَ
yutaqabbala
will be accepted
مِنكُمۡ
minkum
from you
إِنَّكُمۡ
innakum
Indeed you
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
[you] are
قَوۡمٗا
qawman
a people
فَٰسِقِينَ
fasiqina
defiantly disobedient
٥٣
9:54
وَمَا
wama
And not
مَنَعَهُمۡ
mana'ahum
prevents them
أَن
an
that
تُقۡبَلَ
tuq'bala
is accepted
مِنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
from them
نَفَقَٰتُهُمۡ
nafaqatuhum
their contributions
إِلَّآ
illa
except
أَنَّهُمۡ
annahum
that they
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieve
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
وَبِرَسُولِهِۦ
wabirasulihi
and in His Messenger
وَلَا
wala
and not
يَأۡتُونَ
yatuna
they come
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
al-salata
(to) the prayer
إِلَّا
illa
except
وَهُمۡ
wahum
while they
كُسَالَىٰ
kusala
(are) lazy
وَلَا
wala
and not
يُنفِقُونَ
yunfiquna
they spend
إِلَّا
illa
except
وَهُمۡ
wahum
while they
كَٰرِهُونَ
karihuna
(are) unwilling

9:55
فَلَا
fala
So (let) not
تُعۡجِبۡكَ
tu'jib'ka
impress you
أَمۡوَٰلُهُمۡ
amwaluhum
their wealth
وَلَآ
wala
and not
أَوۡلَٰدُهُمۡۚ
awladuhum
their children
إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
يُرِيدُ
yuridu
Allah intends
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah intends
لِيُعَذِّبَهُم
liyu'adhibahum
to punish them
بِهَا
biha
with it
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ
al-hayati
the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
al-dun'ya
(of) the world
وَتَزۡهَقَ
watazhaqa
and should depart
أَنفُسُهُمۡ
anfusuhum
their souls
وَهُمۡ
wahum
while they
كَٰفِرُونَ
kafiruna
(are) disbelievers
٥٥
9:56
وَيَحۡلِفُونَ
wayahlifuna
And they swear
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
by Allah
إِنَّهُمۡ
innahum
indeed they
لَمِنكُمۡ
laminkum
surely (are) of you
وَمَا
wama
while not
هُم
hum
they
مِّنكُمۡ
minkum
(are) of you
وَلَٰكِنَّهُمۡ
walakinnahum
but they
قَوۡمٞ
qawmun
(are) a people
يَفۡرَقُونَ
yafraquna
(who) are afraid
٥٦
9:57
لَوۡ
law
If
يَجِدُونَ
yajiduna
they could find
مَلۡجَـًٔا
malja-an
a refuge
أَوۡ
aw
or
مَغَٰرَٰتٍ
magharatin
caves
أَوۡ
aw
or
مُدَّخَلٗا
muddakhalan
a place to enter
لَّوَلَّوۡاْ
lawallaw
surely they would turn
إِلَيۡهِ
ilayhi
to it
وَهُمۡ
wahum
and they
يَجۡمَحُونَ
yajmahuna
run wild
٥٧
9:58
وَمِنۡهُم
wamin'hum
And among them
مَّن
man
(is he) who
يَلۡمِزُكَ
yalmizuka
criticizes you
فِي
fi
concerning
ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ
al-sadaqati
the charities
فَإِنۡ
fa-in
Then if
أُعۡطُواْ
u'tu
they are given
مِنۡهَا
min'ha
from it
رَضُواْ
radu
they are pleased
وَإِن
wa-in
but if
لَّمۡ
lam
not
يُعۡطَوۡاْ
yu'taw
they are given
مِنۡهَآ
min'ha
from it
إِذَا
idha
then
هُمۡ
hum
they
يَسۡخَطُونَ
yaskhatuna
(are) enraged
٥٨
9:59
وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
أَنَّهُمۡ
annahum
[that] they
رَضُواْ
radu
(were) satisfied
مَآ
ma
(with) what
ءَاتَىٰهُمُ
atahumu
Allah gave them
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah gave them
وَرَسُولُهُۥ
warasuluhu
and His Messenger
وَقَالُواْ
waqalu
and said
حَسۡبُنَا
hasbuna
Sufficient for us
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(is) Allah
سَيُؤۡتِينَا
sayu'tina
Allah will give us
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah will give us
مِن
min
of
فَضۡلِهِۦ
fadlihi
His Bounty
وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ
warasuluhu
and His Messenger
إِنَّآ
inna
Indeed we
إِلَى
ila
to
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
رَٰغِبُونَ
raghibuna
turn our hopes
٥٩
9:60
۞إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
ٱلصَّدَقَٰتُ
al-sadaqatu
the charities
لِلۡفُقَرَآءِ
lil'fuqarai
(are) for the poor
وَٱلۡمَسَٰكِينِ
wal-masakini
and the needy
وَٱلۡعَٰمِلِينَ
wal-'amilina
and those who collect
عَلَيۡهَا
alayha
them
وَٱلۡمُؤَلَّفَةِ
wal-mu-alafati
and the ones inclined
قُلُوبُهُمۡ
qulubuhum
their hearts
وَفِي
wafi
and in
ٱلرِّقَابِ
al-riqabi
the (freeing of) the necks
وَٱلۡغَٰرِمِينَ
wal-gharimina
and for those in debt
وَفِي
wafi
and in
سَبِيلِ
sabili
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَٱبۡنِ
wa-ib'ni
and the wayfarer
ٱلسَّبِيلِۖ
al-sabili
and the wayfarer
فَرِيضَةٗ
faridatan
an obligation
مِّنَ
mina
from
ٱللَّهِۗ
al-lahi
Allah
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
عَلِيمٌ
alimun
(is) All-Knowing
حَكِيمٞ
hakimun
All-Wise
٦٠
9:61
وَمِنۡهُمُ
wamin'humu
And among them
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(are) those who
يُؤۡذُونَ
yu'dhuna
hurt
ٱلنَّبِيَّ
al-nabiya
the Prophet
وَيَقُولُونَ
wayaquluna
and they say
هُوَ
huwa
He is
أُذُنٞۚ
udhunun
(all) ear
قُلۡ
qul
Say
أُذُنُ
udhunu
An ear
خَيۡرٖ
khayrin
(of) goodness
لَّكُمۡ
lakum
for you
يُؤۡمِنُ
yu'minu
he believes
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
وَيُؤۡمِنُ
wayu'minu
and believes
لِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
lil'mu'minina
the believers
وَرَحۡمَةٞ
warahmatun
and (is) a mercy
لِّلَّذِينَ
lilladhina
to those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
مِنكُمۡۚ
minkum
among you
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
And those who
يُؤۡذُونَ
yu'dhuna
hurt
رَسُولَ
rasula
(the) Messenger
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
عَذَابٌ
adhabun
(is) a punishment
أَلِيمٞ
alimun
painful

يَحۡلِفُونَ
yahlifuna
They swear
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
by Allah
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
لِيُرۡضُوكُمۡ
liyur'dukum
to please you
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ
warasuluhu
and His Messenger
أَحَقُّ
ahaqqu
(have) more right
أَن
an
that
يُرۡضُوهُ
yur'duhu
they should please Him
إِن
in
if
كَانُواْ
kanu
they are
مُؤۡمِنِينَ
mu'minina
believers
٦٢
9:63
أَلَمۡ
alam
Do not
يَعۡلَمُوٓاْ
ya'lamu
they know
أَنَّهُۥ
annahu
that he
مَن
man
who
يُحَادِدِ
yuhadidi
opposes
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ
warasulahu
and His Messenger
فَأَنَّ
fa-anna
[then] that
لَهُۥ
lahu
for him
نَارَ
nara
(is the) Fire
جَهَنَّمَ
jahannama
(of) Hell
خَٰلِدٗا
khalidan
(will) abide forever
فِيهَاۚ
fiha
in it
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
ٱلۡخِزۡيُ
al-khiz'yu
(is) the disgrace
ٱلۡعَظِيمُ
al-'azimu
the great
٦٣
9:64
يَحۡذَرُ
yahdharu
Fear
ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقُونَ
al-munafiquna
the hypocrites
أَن
an
lest
تُنَزَّلَ
tunazzala
be revealed
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
alayhim
about them
سُورَةٞ
suratun
a Surah
تُنَبِّئُهُم
tunabbi-uhum
informing them
بِمَا
bima
of what
فِي
fi
(is) in
قُلُوبِهِمۡۚ
qulubihim
their hearts
قُلِ
quli
Say
ٱسۡتَهۡزِءُوٓاْ
is'tahziu
Mock
إِنَّ
inna
indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
مُخۡرِجٞ
mukh'rijun
(will) bring forth
مَّا
ma
what
تَحۡذَرُونَ
tahdharuna
you fear
٦٤
9:65
وَلَئِن
wala-in
And if
سَأَلۡتَهُمۡ
sa-altahum
you ask them
لَيَقُولُنَّ
layaqulunna
surely they will say
إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
كُنَّا
kunna
we were
نَخُوضُ
nakhudu
conversing
وَنَلۡعَبُۚ
wanal'abu
and playing
قُلۡ
qul
Say
أَبِٱللَّهِ
abil-lahi
Is it Allah
وَءَايَٰتِهِۦ
waayatihi
and His Verses
وَرَسُولِهِۦ
warasulihi
and His Messenger
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
(that) you were
تَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ
tastahziuna
mocking
٦٥
9:66
لَا
la
(Do) not
تَعۡتَذِرُواْ
ta'tadhiru
make excuse
قَدۡ
qad
verily
كَفَرۡتُم
kafartum
you have disbelieved
بَعۡدَ
ba'da
after
إِيمَٰنِكُمۡۚ
imanikum
your belief
إِن
in
If
نَّعۡفُ
na'fu
We pardon
عَن
an
[on]
طَآئِفَةٖ
taifatin
a party
مِّنكُمۡ
minkum
of you
نُعَذِّبۡ
nu'adhib
We will punish
طَآئِفَةَۢ
taifatan
a party
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
bi-annahum
because they
كَانُواْ
kanu
were
مُجۡرِمِينَ
muj'rimina
criminals
٦٦
9:67
ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقُونَ
al-munafiquna
The hypocrite men
وَٱلۡمُنَٰفِقَٰتُ
wal-munafiqatu
and the hypocrite women
بَعۡضُهُم
ba'duhum
some of them
مِّنۢ
min
(are) of
بَعۡضٖۚ
ba'din
others
يَأۡمُرُونَ
yamuruna
They enjoin
بِٱلۡمُنكَرِ
bil-munkari
the wrong
وَيَنۡهَوۡنَ
wayanhawna
and forbid
عَنِ
ani
what
ٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ
al-ma'rufi
(is) the right
وَيَقۡبِضُونَ
wayaqbiduna
and they close
أَيۡدِيَهُمۡۚ
aydiyahum
their hands
نَسُواْ
nasu
They forget
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
فَنَسِيَهُمۡۚ
fanasiyahum
so He has forgotten them
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ
al-munafiqina
the hypocrites
هُمُ
humu
they (are)
ٱلۡفَٰسِقُونَ
al-fasiquna
the defiantly disobedient
٦٧
9:68
وَعَدَ
wa'ada
Allah has promised
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah has promised
ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ
al-munafiqina
the hypocrite men
وَٱلۡمُنَٰفِقَٰتِ
wal-munafiqati
and the hypocrite women
وَٱلۡكُفَّارَ
wal-kufara
and the disbelievers
نَارَ
nara
Fire
جَهَنَّمَ
jahannama
(of) Hell
خَٰلِدِينَ
khalidina
they (will) abide forever
فِيهَاۚ
fiha
in it
هِيَ
hiya
It (is)
حَسۡبُهُمۡۚ
hasbuhum
sufficient for them
وَلَعَنَهُمُ
wala'anahumu
And Allah has cursed them
ٱللَّهُۖ
al-lahu
And Allah has cursed them
وَلَهُمۡ
walahum
and for them
عَذَابٞ
adhabun
(is) a punishment
مُّقِيمٞ
muqimun
enduring
٦٨

كَٱلَّذِينَ
ka-alladhina
Like those
مِن
min
before you
قَبۡلِكُمۡ
qablikum
before you
كَانُوٓاْ
kanu
they were
أَشَدَّ
ashadda
mightier
مِنكُمۡ
minkum
than you
قُوَّةٗ
quwwatan
(in) strength
وَأَكۡثَرَ
wa-akthara
and more abundant
أَمۡوَٰلٗا
amwalan
(in) wealth
وَأَوۡلَٰدٗا
wa-awladan
and children
فَٱسۡتَمۡتَعُواْ
fa-is'tamta'u
So they enjoyed
بِخَلَٰقِهِمۡ
bikhalaqihim
their portion
فَٱسۡتَمۡتَعۡتُم
fa-is'tamta'tum
and you have enjoyed
بِخَلَٰقِكُمۡ
bikhalaqikum
your portion
كَمَا
kama
like
ٱسۡتَمۡتَعَ
is'tamta'a
enjoyed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those
مِن
min
before you
قَبۡلِكُم
qablikum
before you
بِخَلَٰقِهِمۡ
bikhalaqihim
their portion
وَخُضۡتُمۡ
wakhud'tum
and you indulge
كَٱلَّذِي
ka-alladhi
like the one who
خَاضُوٓاْۚ
khadu
indulges (in idle talk)
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
حَبِطَتۡ
habitat
worthless
أَعۡمَٰلُهُمۡ
a'maluhum
(are) their deeds
فِي
fi
in
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
al-dun'ya
the world
وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۖ
wal-akhirati
and (in) the Hereafter
وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
wa-ulaika
And those
هُمُ
humu
they
ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ
al-khasiruna
(are) the losers
٦٩
9:70
أَلَمۡ
alam
Has not
يَأۡتِهِمۡ
yatihim
come to them
نَبَأُ
naba-u
(the) news
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(of) those who
مِن
min
(were) before them
قَبۡلِهِمۡ
qablihim
(were) before them
قَوۡمِ
qawmi
(the) people
نُوحٖ
nuhin
(of) Nuh
وَعَادٖ
wa'adin
and Aad
وَثَمُودَ
wathamuda
and Thamud
وَقَوۡمِ
waqawmi
and (the) people
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
ib'rahima
(of) Ibrahim
وَأَصۡحَٰبِ
wa-ashabi
and (the) companions
مَدۡيَنَ
madyana
(of) Madyan
وَٱلۡمُؤۡتَفِكَٰتِۚ
wal-mu'tafikati
and the towns overturned
أَتَتۡهُمۡ
atathum
Came to them
رُسُلُهُم
rusuluhum
their Messengers
بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِۖ
bil-bayinati
with clear proofs
فَمَا
fama
And not
كَانَ
kana
was
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
لِيَظۡلِمَهُمۡ
liyazlimahum
to wrong them
وَلَٰكِن
walakin
but
كَانُوٓاْ
kanu
they were (to)
أَنفُسَهُمۡ
anfusahum
themselves
يَظۡلِمُونَ
yazlimuna
doing wrong
٧٠
9:71
وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
wal-mu'minuna
And the believing men
وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتُ
wal-mu'minatu
and the believing women
بَعۡضُهُمۡ
ba'duhum
some of them
أَوۡلِيَآءُ
awliyau
(are) allies
بَعۡضٖۚ
ba'din
(of) others
يَأۡمُرُونَ
yamuruna
They enjoin
بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ
bil-ma'rufi
the right
وَيَنۡهَوۡنَ
wayanhawna
and forbid
عَنِ
ani
from
ٱلۡمُنكَرِ
al-munkari
the wrong
وَيُقِيمُونَ
wayuqimuna
and they establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
al-salata
the prayer
وَيُؤۡتُونَ
wayu'tuna
and give
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ
al-zakata
the zakah
وَيُطِيعُونَ
wayuti'una
and they obey
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥٓۚ
warasulahu
and His Messenger
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
سَيَرۡحَمُهُمُ
sayarhamuhumu
Allah will have mercy on them
ٱللَّهُۗ
al-lahu
Allah will have mercy on them
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
عَزِيزٌ
azizun
(is) All-Mighty
حَكِيمٞ
hakimun
All-Wise
٧١
9:72
وَعَدَ
wa'ada
(Has been) promised
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(by) Allah
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
al-mu'minina
(to) the believing men
وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ
wal-mu'minati
and the believing women
جَنَّٰتٖ
jannatin
Gardens
تَجۡرِي
tajri
flow
مِن
min
from
تَحۡتِهَا
tahtiha
underneath it
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ
al-anharu
the rivers
خَٰلِدِينَ
khalidina
(will) abide forever
فِيهَا
fiha
in it
وَمَسَٰكِنَ
wamasakina
and dwellings
طَيِّبَةٗ
tayyibatan
blessed
فِي
fi
in
جَنَّٰتِ
jannati
Gardens
عَدۡنٖۚ
adnin
(of) everlasting bliss
وَرِضۡوَٰنٞ
warid'wanun
But the pleasure
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
أَكۡبَرُۚ
akbaru
(is) greater
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
هُوَ
huwa
it
ٱلۡفَوۡزُ
al-fawzu
(is) the success
ٱلۡعَظِيمُ
al-'azimu
great

9:73
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O Prophet
ٱلنَّبِيُّ
al-nabiyu
O Prophet
جَٰهِدِ
jahidi
Strive (against)
ٱلۡكُفَّارَ
al-kufara
the disbelievers
وَٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ
wal-munafiqina
and the hypocrites
وَٱغۡلُظۡ
wa-ugh'luz
and be stern
عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ
alayhim
with them
وَمَأۡوَىٰهُمۡ
wamawahum
And their abode
جَهَنَّمُۖ
jahannamu
(is) Hell
وَبِئۡسَ
wabi'sa
and wretched
ٱلۡمَصِيرُ
al-masiru
(is) the destination
٧٣
9:74
يَحۡلِفُونَ
yahlifuna
They swear
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
by Allah
مَا
ma
(that) they said nothing
قَالُواْ
qalu
(that) they said nothing
وَلَقَدۡ
walaqad
while certainly
قَالُواْ
qalu
they said
كَلِمَةَ
kalimata
(the) word
ٱلۡكُفۡرِ
al-kuf'ri
(of) the disbelief
وَكَفَرُواْ
wakafaru
and disbelieved
بَعۡدَ
ba'da
after
إِسۡلَٰمِهِمۡ
is'lamihim
their (pretense of) Islam
وَهَمُّواْ
wahammu
and planned
بِمَا
bima
[of] what
لَمۡ
lam
not
يَنَالُواْۚ
yanalu
they could attain
وَمَا
wama
And not
نَقَمُوٓاْ
naqamu
they were resentful
إِلَّآ
illa
except
أَنۡ
an
that
أَغۡنَىٰهُمُ
aghnahumu
Allah had enriched them
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah had enriched them
وَرَسُولُهُۥ
warasuluhu
and His Messenger
مِن
min
of
فَضۡلِهِۦۚ
fadlihi
His Bounty
فَإِن
fa-in
So if
يَتُوبُواْ
yatubu
they repent
يَكُ
yaku
it is
خَيۡرٗا
khayran
better
لَّهُمۡۖ
lahum
for them
وَإِن
wa-in
and if
يَتَوَلَّوۡاْ
yatawallaw
they turn away
يُعَذِّبۡهُمُ
yu'adhib'humu
Allah will punish them
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah will punish them
عَذَابًا
adhaban
(with) a punishment
أَلِيمٗا
aliman
painful
فِي
fi
in
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
al-dun'ya
the world
وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۚ
wal-akhirati
and (in) the Hereafter
وَمَا
wama
And not
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
مِن
min
any
وَلِيّٖ
waliyyin
protector
وَلَا
wala
and not
نَصِيرٖ
nasirin
a helper
٧٤
9:75
۞وَمِنۡهُم
wamin'hum
And among them
مَّنۡ
man
(is he) who
عَٰهَدَ
ahada
made a covenant
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
(with) Allah
لَئِنۡ
la-in
If
ءَاتَىٰنَا
atana
He gives us
مِن
min
of
فَضۡلِهِۦ
fadlihi
His bounty
لَنَصَّدَّقَنَّ
lanassaddaqanna
surely we will give charity
وَلَنَكُونَنَّ
walanakunanna
and surely we will be
مِنَ
mina
among
ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
al-salihina
the righteous
٧٥
9:76
فَلَمَّآ
falamma
But when
ءَاتَىٰهُم
atahum
He gave them
مِّن
min
of
فَضۡلِهِۦ
fadlihi
His Bounty
بَخِلُواْ
bakhilu
they became stingy
بِهِۦ
bihi
with it
وَتَوَلَّواْ
watawallaw
and turned away
وَّهُم
wahum
while they
مُّعۡرِضُونَ
mu'riduna
(were) averse
٧٦
9:77
فَأَعۡقَبَهُمۡ
fa-a'qabahum
So He penalized them
نِفَاقٗا
nifaqan
(with) hypocrisy
فِي
fi
in
قُلُوبِهِمۡ
qulubihim
their hearts
إِلَىٰ
ila
until
يَوۡمِ
yawmi
the day
يَلۡقَوۡنَهُۥ
yalqawnahu
when they will meet Him
بِمَآ
bima
because
أَخۡلَفُواْ
akhlafu
they broke
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
(the covenant with) Allah
مَا
ma
what
وَعَدُوهُ
wa'aduhu
they had promised Him
وَبِمَا
wabima
and because
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used to
يَكۡذِبُونَ
yakdhibuna
lie
٧٧
9:78
أَلَمۡ
alam
Do not
يَعۡلَمُوٓاْ
ya'lamu
they know
أَنَّ
anna
that
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
ya'lamu
knows
سِرَّهُمۡ
sirrahum
their secret
وَنَجۡوَىٰهُمۡ
wanajwahum
and their secret conversation
وَأَنَّ
wa-anna
and that
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
عَلَّٰمُ
allamu
(is) All-Knower
ٱلۡغُيُوبِ
al-ghuyubi
(of) the unseen
٧٨
9:79
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
Those who
يَلۡمِزُونَ
yalmizuna
criticize
ٱلۡمُطَّوِّعِينَ
al-mutawi'ina
the ones who give willingly
مِنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
al-mu'minina
the believers
فِي
fi
concerning
ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ
al-sadaqati
the charities
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
and those who
لَا
la
not
يَجِدُونَ
yajiduna
find
إِلَّا
illa
except
جُهۡدَهُمۡ
juh'dahum
their effort
فَيَسۡخَرُونَ
fayaskharuna
so they ridicule
مِنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
them
سَخِرَ
sakhira
Allah will ridicule
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah will ridicule
مِنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
them
وَلَهُمۡ
walahum
and for them
عَذَابٌ
adhabun
(is) a punishment
أَلِيمٌ
alimun
painful

ٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡ
is'taghfir
Ask forgiveness
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
أَوۡ
aw
or
لَا
la
(do) not
تَسۡتَغۡفِرۡ
tastaghfir
ask forgiveness
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
إِن
in
If
تَسۡتَغۡفِرۡ
tastaghfir
you ask forgiveness
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
سَبۡعِينَ
sab'ina
seventy
مَرَّةٗ
marratan
times
فَلَن
falan
never
يَغۡفِرَ
yaghfira
will Allah forgive
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
will Allah forgive
لَهُمۡۚ
lahum
[for] them
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
bi-annahum
(is) because they
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieved
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦۗ
warasulihi
and His Messenger
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
and Allah
لَا
la
(does) not
يَهۡدِي
yahdi
guide
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ
al-qawma
the people
ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ
al-fasiqina
the defiantly disobedient
٨٠
9:81
فَرِحَ
fariha
Rejoice
ٱلۡمُخَلَّفُونَ
al-mukhalafuna
those who remained behind
بِمَقۡعَدِهِمۡ
bimaq'adihim
in their staying
خِلَٰفَ
khilafa
behind
رَسُولِ
rasuli
(the) Messenger
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَكَرِهُوٓاْ
wakarihu
and they disliked
أَن
an
to
يُجَٰهِدُواْ
yujahidu
strive
بِأَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ
bi-amwalihim
with their wealth
وَأَنفُسِهِمۡ
wa-anfusihim
and their lives
فِي
fi
in
سَبِيلِ
sabili
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَقَالُواْ
waqalu
and they said
لَا
la
(Do) not
تَنفِرُواْ
tanfiru
go forth
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡحَرِّۗ
al-hari
the heat
قُلۡ
qul
Say
نَارُ
naru
(The) Fire
جَهَنَّمَ
jahannama
(of) Hell
أَشَدُّ
ashaddu
(is) more intense
حَرّٗاۚ
harran
(in) heat
لَّوۡ
law
If (only)
كَانُواْ
kanu
they could
يَفۡقَهُونَ
yafqahuna
understand
٨١
9:82
فَلۡيَضۡحَكُواْ
falyadhaku
So let them laugh
قَلِيلٗا
qalilan
a little
وَلۡيَبۡكُواْ
walyabku
and let them weep
كَثِيرٗا
kathiran
much
جَزَآءَۢ
jazaan
(as) a recompense
بِمَا
bima
for what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used to
يَكۡسِبُونَ
yaksibuna
earn
٨٢
9:83
فَإِن
fa-in
Then if
رَّجَعَكَ
raja'aka
Allah returns you
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah returns you
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
طَآئِفَةٖ
taifatin
a group
مِّنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
of them
فَٱسۡتَـٔۡذَنُوكَ
fa-is'tadhanuka
and they ask you permission
لِلۡخُرُوجِ
lil'khuruji
to go out
فَقُل
faqul
then say
لَّن
lan
Never
تَخۡرُجُواْ
takhruju
will you come out
مَعِيَ
ma'iya
with me
أَبَدٗا
abadan
ever
وَلَن
walan
and never
تُقَٰتِلُواْ
tuqatilu
will you fight
مَعِيَ
ma'iya
with me
عَدُوًّاۖ
aduwwan
any enemy
إِنَّكُمۡ
innakum
Indeed you
رَضِيتُم
raditum
were satisfied
بِٱلۡقُعُودِ
bil-qu'udi
with sitting
أَوَّلَ
awwala
(the) first
مَرَّةٖ
marratin
time
فَٱقۡعُدُواْ
fa-uq'udu
so sit
مَعَ
ma'a
with
ٱلۡخَٰلِفِينَ
al-khalifina
those who stay behind
٨٣
9:84
وَلَا
wala
And not
تُصَلِّ
tusalli
you pray
عَلَىٰٓ
ala
for
أَحَدٖ
ahadin
any
مِّنۡهُم
min'hum
of them
مَّاتَ
mata
who dies
أَبَدٗا
abadan
ever
وَلَا
wala
and not
تَقُمۡ
taqum
you stand
عَلَىٰ
ala
by
قَبۡرِهِۦٓۖ
qabrihi
his grave
إِنَّهُمۡ
innahum
Indeed they
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieved
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦ
warasulihi
and His Messenger
وَمَاتُواْ
wamatu
and died
وَهُمۡ
wahum
while they were
فَٰسِقُونَ
fasiquna
defiantly disobedient
٨٤
9:85
وَلَا
wala
And (let) not
تُعۡجِبۡكَ
tu'jib'ka
impress you
أَمۡوَٰلُهُمۡ
amwaluhum
their wealth
وَأَوۡلَٰدُهُمۡۚ
wa-awladuhum
and their children
إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
يُرِيدُ
yuridu
Allah intends
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah intends
أَن
an
to
يُعَذِّبَهُم
yu'adhibahum
punish them
بِهَا
biha
with it
فِي
fi
in
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
al-dun'ya
the world
وَتَزۡهَقَ
watazhaqa
and will depart
أَنفُسُهُمۡ
anfusuhum
their souls
وَهُمۡ
wahum
while they
كَٰفِرُونَ
kafiruna
(are) disbelievers
٨٥
9:86
وَإِذَآ
wa-idha
And when
أُنزِلَتۡ
unzilat
was revealed
سُورَةٌ
suratun
a Surah
أَنۡ
an
that
ءَامِنُواْ
aminu
believe
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
وَجَٰهِدُواْ
wajahidu
and strive
مَعَ
ma'a
with
رَسُولِهِ
rasulihi
His Messenger
ٱسۡتَـٔۡذَنَكَ
is'tadhanaka
ask your permission
أُوْلُواْ
ulu
(the) men
ٱلطَّوۡلِ
al-tawli
(of) wealth
مِنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
among them
وَقَالُواْ
waqalu
and said
ذَرۡنَا
dharna
Leave us
نَكُن
nakun
(to) be
مَّعَ
ma'a
with
ٱلۡقَٰعِدِينَ
al-qa'idina
those who sit
٨٦

رَضُواْ
radu
They (were) satisfied
بِأَن
bi-an
to
يَكُونُواْ
yakunu
be
مَعَ
ma'a
with
ٱلۡخَوَالِفِ
al-khawalifi
those who stay behind
وَطُبِعَ
watubi'a
and were sealed
عَلَىٰ
ala
[on]
قُلُوبِهِمۡ
qulubihim
their hearts
فَهُمۡ
fahum
so they
لَا
la
(do) not
يَفۡقَهُونَ
yafqahuna
understand
٨٧
9:88
لَٰكِنِ
lakini
But
ٱلرَّسُولُ
al-rasulu
the Messenger
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
and those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believed
مَعَهُۥ
ma'ahu
with him
جَٰهَدُواْ
jahadu
strove
بِأَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ
bi-amwalihim
with their wealth
وَأَنفُسِهِمۡۚ
wa-anfusihim
and their lives
وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
wa-ulaika
And those
لَهُمُ
lahumu
for them
ٱلۡخَيۡرَٰتُۖ
al-khayratu
(are) the good things
وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
wa-ulaika
and those
هُمُ
humu
they
ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ
al-muf'lihuna
(are) the successful ones
٨٨
9:89
أَعَدَّ
a'adda
Allah has prepared
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah has prepared
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
جَنَّٰتٖ
jannatin
Gardens
تَجۡرِي
tajri
flows
مِن
min
from
تَحۡتِهَا
tahtiha
underneath it
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ
al-anharu
the rivers
خَٰلِدِينَ
khalidina
(will) abide forever
فِيهَاۚ
fiha
in it
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
ٱلۡفَوۡزُ
al-fawzu
(is) the success
ٱلۡعَظِيمُ
al-'azimu
the great
٨٩
9:90
وَجَآءَ
wajaa
And came
ٱلۡمُعَذِّرُونَ
al-mu'adhiruna
the ones who make excuses
مِنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡأَعۡرَابِ
al-a'rabi
the bedouins
لِيُؤۡذَنَ
liyu'dhana
that permission be granted
لَهُمۡ
lahum
to them
وَقَعَدَ
waqa'ada
and sat
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَذَبُواْ
kadhabu
lied
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
(to) Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥۚ
warasulahu
and His Messenger
سَيُصِيبُ
sayusibu
Will strike
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieved
مِنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
among them
عَذَابٌ
adhabun
a punishment
أَلِيمٞ
alimun
painful
٩٠
9:91
لَّيۡسَ
laysa
Not
عَلَى
ala
on
ٱلضُّعَفَآءِ
al-du'afai
the weak
وَلَا
wala
and not
عَلَى
ala
on
ٱلۡمَرۡضَىٰ
al-marda
the sick
وَلَا
wala
and not
عَلَى
ala
on
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
لَا
la
not
يَجِدُونَ
yajiduna
they find
مَا
ma
what
يُنفِقُونَ
yunfiquna
they (can) spend
حَرَجٌ
harajun
any blame
إِذَا
idha
if
نَصَحُواْ
nasahu
they (are) sincere
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
to Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦۚ
warasulihi
and His Messenger
مَا
ma
Not
عَلَى
ala
(is) on
ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
al-muh'sinina
the good-doers
مِن
min
any
سَبِيلٖۚ
sabilin
way (for blame)
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
غَفُورٞ
ghafurun
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٞ
rahimun
Most Merciful
٩١
9:92
وَلَا
wala
And not
عَلَى
ala
on
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
إِذَا
idha
when
مَآ
ma
when
أَتَوۡكَ
atawka
they came to you
لِتَحۡمِلَهُمۡ
litahmilahum
that you provide them with mounts
قُلۡتَ
qul'ta
you said
لَآ
la
Not
أَجِدُ
ajidu
I find
مَآ
ma
what
أَحۡمِلُكُمۡ
ahmilukum
to mount you
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
on [it]
تَوَلَّواْ
tawallaw
They turned back
وَّأَعۡيُنُهُمۡ
wa-a'yunuhum
with their eyes
تَفِيضُ
tafidu
flowing
مِنَ
mina
[of]
ٱلدَّمۡعِ
al-dam'i
(with) the tears
حَزَنًا
hazanan
(of) sorrow
أَلَّا
alla
that not
يَجِدُواْ
yajidu
they find
مَا
ma
what
يُنفِقُونَ
yunfiquna
they (could) spend
٩٢
9:93
۞إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
ٱلسَّبِيلُ
al-sabilu
the way (blame)
عَلَى
ala
(is) on
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
يَسۡتَـٔۡذِنُونَكَ
yastadhinunaka
ask your permission
وَهُمۡ
wahum
while they
أَغۡنِيَآءُۚ
aghniyau
(are) rich
رَضُواْ
radu
They (are) satisfied
بِأَن
bi-an
to
يَكُونُواْ
yakunu
be
مَعَ
ma'a
with
ٱلۡخَوَالِفِ
al-khawalifi
those who stay behind
وَطَبَعَ
wataba'a
and Allah sealed
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
and Allah sealed
عَلَىٰ
ala
[on]
قُلُوبِهِمۡ
qulubihim
their hearts
فَهُمۡ
fahum
so they
لَا
la
(do) not
يَعۡلَمُونَ
ya'lamuna
know

يَعۡتَذِرُونَ
ya'tadhiruna
They will make excuses
إِلَيۡكُمۡ
ilaykum
to you
إِذَا
idha
when
رَجَعۡتُمۡ
raja'tum
you (have) returned
إِلَيۡهِمۡۚ
ilayhim
to them
قُل
qul
Say
لَّا
la
(Do) not
تَعۡتَذِرُواْ
ta'tadhiru
make excuse
لَن
lan
never
نُّؤۡمِنَ
nu'mina
we will believe
لَكُمۡ
lakum
you
قَدۡ
qad
Verily
نَبَّأَنَا
nabba-ana
Allah (has) informed us
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah (has) informed us
مِنۡ
min
of
أَخۡبَارِكُمۡۚ
akhbarikum
your news
وَسَيَرَى
wasayara
and Allah will see
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
and Allah will see
عَمَلَكُمۡ
amalakum
your deeds
وَرَسُولُهُۥ
warasuluhu
and His Messenger
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
تُرَدُّونَ
turadduna
you will be brought back
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
عَٰلِمِ
alimi
(the) Knower
ٱلۡغَيۡبِ
al-ghaybi
(of) the unseen
وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ
wal-shahadati
and the seen
فَيُنَبِّئُكُم
fayunabbi-ukum
then He will inform you
بِمَا
bima
of what
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
you used (to)
تَعۡمَلُونَ
ta'maluna
do
٩٤
9:95
سَيَحۡلِفُونَ
sayahlifuna
They will swear
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
by Allah
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
إِذَا
idha
when
ٱنقَلَبۡتُمۡ
inqalabtum
you returned
إِلَيۡهِمۡ
ilayhim
to them
لِتُعۡرِضُواْ
litu'ridu
that you may turn away
عَنۡهُمۡۖ
anhum
from them
فَأَعۡرِضُواْ
fa-a'ridu
So turn away
عَنۡهُمۡۖ
anhum
from them
إِنَّهُمۡ
innahum
indeed they
رِجۡسٞۖ
rij'sun
(are) impure
وَمَأۡوَىٰهُمۡ
wamawahum
and their abode
جَهَنَّمُ
jahannamu
(is) Hell
جَزَآءَۢ
jazaan
a recompense
بِمَا
bima
for what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used (to)
يَكۡسِبُونَ
yaksibuna
earn
٩٥
9:96
يَحۡلِفُونَ
yahlifuna
They swear
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
لِتَرۡضَوۡاْ
litardaw
that you may be pleased
عَنۡهُمۡۖ
anhum
with them
فَإِن
fa-in
But if
تَرۡضَوۡاْ
tardaw
you are pleased
عَنۡهُمۡ
anhum
with them
فَإِنَّ
fa-inna
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
لَا
la
(is) not pleased
يَرۡضَىٰ
yarda
(is) not pleased
عَنِ
ani
with
ٱلۡقَوۡمِ
al-qawmi
the people
ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ
al-fasiqina
(who are) defiantly disobedient
٩٦
9:97
ٱلۡأَعۡرَابُ
al-a'rabu
The bedouins
أَشَدُّ
ashaddu
(are) stronger
كُفۡرٗا
kuf'ran
(in) disbelief
وَنِفَاقٗا
wanifaqan
and hypocrisy
وَأَجۡدَرُ
wa-ajdaru
and more likely
أَلَّا
alla
that not
يَعۡلَمُواْ
ya'lamu
they know
حُدُودَ
hududa
(the) limits
مَآ
ma
(of) what
أَنزَلَ
anzala
Allah (has) revealed
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah (has) revealed
عَلَىٰ
ala
to
رَسُولِهِۦۗ
rasulihi
His Messenger
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
عَلِيمٌ
alimun
(is) All-Knower
حَكِيمٞ
hakimun
All-Wise
٩٧
9:98
وَمِنَ
wamina
And among
ٱلۡأَعۡرَابِ
al-a'rabi
the bedouins
مَن
man
(is he) who
يَتَّخِذُ
yattakhidhu
takes
مَا
ma
what
يُنفِقُ
yunfiqu
he spends
مَغۡرَمٗا
maghraman
(as) a loss
وَيَتَرَبَّصُ
wayatarabbasu
and he awaits
بِكُمُ
bikumu
for you
ٱلدَّوَآئِرَۚ
al-dawaira
the turns (of misfortune)
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
alayhim
Upon them
دَآئِرَةُ
dairatu
(will be) the turn
ٱلسَّوۡءِۗ
al-sawi
(of) the evil
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
سَمِيعٌ
sami'un
(is) All-Hearer
عَلِيمٞ
alimun
All-Knower
٩٨
9:99
وَمِنَ
wamina
But among
ٱلۡأَعۡرَابِ
al-a'rabi
the bedouins
مَن
man
(is he) who
يُؤۡمِنُ
yu'minu
believes
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ
wal-yawmi
and the Day
ٱلۡأٓخِرِ
al-akhiri
the Last
وَيَتَّخِذُ
wayattakhidhu
and takes
مَا
ma
what
يُنفِقُ
yunfiqu
he spends
قُرُبَٰتٍ
qurubatin
(as) means of nearness
عِندَ
inda
with
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
وَصَلَوَٰتِ
wasalawati
and blessings
ٱلرَّسُولِۚ
al-rasuli
(of) the Messenger
أَلَآ
ala
Behold
إِنَّهَا
innaha
Indeed it
قُرۡبَةٞ
qur'batun
(is) a means of nearness
لَّهُمۡۚ
lahum
for them
سَيُدۡخِلُهُمُ
sayud'khiluhumu
Allah will admit them
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah will admit them
فِي
fi
to
رَحۡمَتِهِۦٓۚ
rahmatihi
His Mercy
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
غَفُورٞ
ghafurun
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٞ
rahimun
Most Merciful

وَٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ
wal-sabiquna
And the forerunners
ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ
al-awaluna
the first
مِنَ
mina
among
ٱلۡمُهَٰجِرِينَ
al-muhajirina
the emigrants
وَٱلۡأَنصَارِ
wal-ansari
and the helpers
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
and those who
ٱتَّبَعُوهُم
ittaba'uhum
followed them
بِإِحۡسَٰنٖ
bi-ih'sanin
in righteousness
رَّضِيَ
radiya
Allah is pleased
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah is pleased
عَنۡهُمۡ
anhum
with them
وَرَضُواْ
waradu
and they are pleased
عَنۡهُ
anhu
with Him
وَأَعَدَّ
wa-a'adda
And He has prepared
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
جَنَّٰتٖ
jannatin
Gardens
تَجۡرِي
tajri
flows
تَحۡتَهَا
tahtaha
underneath it
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ
al-anharu
the rivers

ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
ٱلۡفَوۡزُ
al-fawzu
(is) the success
ٱلۡعَظِيمُ
al-'azimu
the great
