83:2ٱلَّذِينَʹAllaẓeenaThose whoإِذَاʹiẓakwhenٱكۡتَالُواْtaaloothey take a measureعَلَىʻalanfromٱلنَّاسِnaasithe peopleيَسۡتَوۡفُونَyastawfoon,they take in full٢
83:3وَإِذَاWa-ʹiẓaaBut whenكَالُوهُمۡkaaloohumthey give by measure (to) themأَوʹaworوَّزَنُوهُمۡWazanoohumthey weigh (for) themيُخۡسِرُونَyukhsiroon.they give less٣
83:4أَلَاʹAlaaDo notيَظُنُّyaz̤̣unnuthinkأُوْلَٰٓئِكَʹulaaaʹikathoseأَنَّهُمʹannahumthat theyمَّبۡعُوثُونَmabʻoos̤oon(will be) resurrected٤
83:6يَوۡمَYawma(The) Dayيَقُومُyaq̣oomunwill standٱلنَّاسُnaasumankindلِرَبِّli-Rabbilbefore (the) LordٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَʻAalameen?(of) the worlds٦
83:7كـَلَّآKallaaaNayإِنَّʹinnaIndeedكِتَٰبَKitaabal(the) recordٱلۡفُجَّارِfujjaari(of) the wickedلَفِيlafee(is) surely inسِجِّينٖSijjeen.Sijjin٧
83:10وَيۡلٞWayluñyWoeيَوۡمَئِذٖYawmaʹiẓilthat Dayلِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَlil-mukaẓẓibeen―to the deniers١٠
83:11ٱلَّذِينَʹAllaẓeenaThose whoيُكَذِّبُونَyukaẓẓiboonadenyبِيَوۡمِbi-Yawmid(the) DayٱلدِّينِDeen.(of) the Judgment١١
83:12وَمَاWa-maaAnd notيُكَذِّبُyukaẓẓibucan denyبِهِۦٓbiheee[of] itإِلَّاʹillaaexceptكُلُّkullueveryمُعۡتَدٍmuʻtadintransgressorأَثِيمٍʹas̤eem!sinful١٢
83:13إِذَاʹIẓaaWhenتُتۡلَىٰtutlaaare recitedعَلَيۡهِʻalayhito himءَايَٰتُنَاʹAayaatunaaOur Versesقَالَq̣aalahe saysأَسَٰطِيرُʹAsaaṭeerulStoriesٱلۡأَوَّلِينَʹAwwaleen!(of) the former (people)١٣
83:14كـَلَّاۖKallaaNayبَلۡۜbal;Butرَانَraana(the) stain has coveredعَلَىٰʻalaa[over]قُلُوبِهِمq̣uloobihimtheir heartsمَّاmaa(for) whatكَانُواْkaanoothey used toيَكۡسِبُونَyaksiboon!earn١٤
83:15كـَلَّآKallaaaNayإِنَّهُمۡʹinnahumIndeed theyعَنʻarfromرَّبِّهِمۡRabbihimtheir LordيَوۡمَئِذٖYawmaʹiẓilthat Dayلَّمَحۡجُوبُونَlamaḥjooboon.surely will be partitioned١٥
83:16ثُمَّS̤ummaThenإِنَّهُمۡʹinnahumindeed theyلَصَالُواْlaṣaalul(surely) will burnٱلۡجَحِيمِJaḥeem.(in) the Hellfire١٦
83:17ثُمَّS̤ummaThenيُقَالُyuq̣aaluit will be saidهَٰذَاhaaẓalThisٱلَّذِيlaẓee(is) whatكُنتُمkuñtum̃you used toبِهِۦbihee[of it]تُكَذِّبُونَtukaẓẓiboon!deny١٧
83:18كـَلَّآKallaaaNayإِنَّʹinnaIndeedكِتَٰبَKitaabal(the) recordٱلۡأَبۡرَارِʹAbraari(of) the righteousلَفِيlafee(will be) surely inعِلِّيِّينَʻIl-liyyeen.Illiyin١٨
83:19وَمَآWa-maaaAnd whatأَدۡرَىٰكَʹadraakacan make you knowمَاmaa-whatعِلِّيُّونَʻIlliyyoon?(is) Illiyun١٩
83:22إِنَّʹInnalIndeedٱلۡأَبۡرَارَʹAbraarathe righteousلَفِيlafee(will be) surely inنَعِيمٍNaʻeem:bliss٢٢
83:24تَعۡرِفُTaʻrifuYou will recognizeفِيfeeinوُجُوهِهِمۡwujoohihimtheir facesنَضۡرَةَnaḍratan(the) radianceٱلنَّعِيمِNaʻeem.(of) bliss٢٤
83:25يُسۡقَوۡنَYusq̣awnaThey will be given to drinkمِنmirofرَّحِيقٖraḥeeq̣ima pure wineمَّخۡتُومٍmakhtoom:sealed٢٥
