أَيۡدِيكُمۡ

وَأَنَّ
wa-ʹannal
And indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
لَيۡسَ
laysa
(is) not
بِظَلَّٰمٖ
biz̤̣allaamil
unjust
لِّلۡعَبِيدِ
lil-ʻabeed:
to His slaves

8:52
كَدَأۡبِ
Kadaʹbi
Like (the) way
ءَالِ
ʹAali
(of) people
فِرۡعَوۡنَ
Firʻawna
(of) Firaun
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wal-laẓeena
and those who
مِن
miñ
(were) from
قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ
q̣ablihim:
before them
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
They disbelieved
بِـَٔايَٰتِ
biʹAayaatil
in (the) Signs
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
فَأَخَذَهُمُ
faʹakhaẓahumul
so seized them
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
بِذُنُوبِهِمۡۚ
biẓunoobihim.
for their sins
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
قَوِيّٞ
Q̣awiyyuñ
(is) All-Strong
شَدِيدُ
Shadeedul
(and) severe
ٱلۡعِقَابِ
ʻiq̣aab.
(in) the penalty

ذَٰلِكَ
Ẓaalika
That
بِأَنَّ
biʹannal
(is) because
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
لَمۡ
lam
not
يَكُ
yakumu
is
مُغَيِّرٗا
g̣ayyiran
One Who changes
نِّعۡمَةً
niʻmatan
a favor
أَنۡعَمَهَا
ʹanʻamahaa
which He had bestowed
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
on
قَوۡمٍ
q̣awmin
a people
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
يُغَيِّرُواْ
yug̣ayyiroo
they change
مَا
maa-
what
بِأَنفُسِهِمۡ
biʹañfusihim
(is) in themselves
وَأَنَّ
wa-ʹannal
And indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
سَمِيعٌ
Sameeʻun
(is) All-Hearing
عَلِيمٞ
ʻAleem:
All-Knowing
٥٣
8:54
كَدَأۡبِ
Kadaʹbi
Like (the) way
ءَالِ
ʹAali
(of) people
فِرۡعَوۡنَ
Firʻawna
(of) Firaun
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wallaẓeena
and those who
مِن
miñ
(were) from
قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ
q̣ablihim:
before them
كَذَّبُواْ
kaẓẓaboo
They denied
بِـَٔايَٰتِ
biʹAayaati
(the) Signs
رَبِّهِمۡ
Rabbihim
(of) their Lord
فَأَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُم
faʹahlaknaahum̃
so We destroyed them
بِذُنُوبِهِمۡ
biẓunoobihim
for their sins
وَأَغۡرَقۡنَآ
wa-ʹag̣raq̣naaa
and We drowned
ءَالَ
ʹAala
(the) people
فِرۡعَوۡنَۚ
Firʻawn:
(of) Firaun
وَكُلّٞ
wa-kulluñ
and (they) all
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
were
ظَٰلِمِينَ
z̤̣aalimeen.
wrongdoers
٥٤
8:55
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
شَرَّ
sharrad
(the) worst
ٱلدَّوَآبِّ
dawaaabbi
(of) the living creatures
عِندَ
ʻiñdal
near
ٱللَّهِ
laahil
Allah
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
(are) those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieve
فَهُمۡ
fahum
and they
لَا
laa-
(will) not
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yuʹminoon.
believe
٥٥
8:56
ٱلَّذِينَ
ʹAllaẓeena
Those who
عَٰهَدتَّ
ʻaahatta
you made a covenant
مِنۡهُمۡ
min-hum
with them
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
يَنقُضُونَ
yañq̣uḍoona
they break
عَهۡدَهُمۡ
ʻahdahum
their covenant
فِي
fee
[in]
كُلِّ
kulli
every
مَرَّةٖ
marratiñw
time
وَهُمۡ
wahum
and they
لَا
laa-
(do) not
يَتَّقُونَ
yattaq̣oon.
fear (Allah)
٥٦
8:57
فَإِمَّا
Faʹimmaa
So if
تَثۡقَفَنَّهُمۡ
tas̤q̣afannahum
you gain dominance over them
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡحَرۡبِ
ḥarbi
the war
فَشَرِّدۡ
fasharrid
disperse
بِهِم
bihim
by them
مَّنۡ
man
(those) who
خَلۡفَهُمۡ
khalfahum
(are) behind them
لَعَلَّهُمۡ
laʻallahum
so that they may
يَذَّكَّرُونَ
yaẓẓakkaroon.
take heed
٥٧
8:58
وَإِمَّا
Wa-ʹimmaa
And if
تَخَافَنَّ
takhaafanna
you fear
مِن
miñ
from
قَوۡمٍ
q̣awmin
a people
خِيَانَةٗ
khiyaanatañ
betrayal
فَٱنۢبِذۡ
fambiẓ
throw back
إِلَيۡهِمۡ
ʹilayhim
to them
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
on
سَوَآءٍۚ
sawaaaʹ:
equal (terms)
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
لَا
laa-
(does) not
يُحِبُّ
yuḥibbul
love
ٱلۡخَآئِنِينَ
khaaaʹineen.
the traitors
٥٨
8:59
وَلَا
Wa-laa
And (let) not
يَحۡسَبَنَّ
yaḥsabannal
think
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieve
سَبَقُوٓاْۚ
sabaq̣oo:
they can outstrip
إِنَّهُمۡ
ʹinnahum
Indeed they
لَا
laa-
(can) not
يُعۡجِزُونَ
yuʻjizoon.
escape
٥٩
8:60
وَأَعِدُّواْ
Wa-ʹaʻiddoo
And prepare
لَهُم
lahum
for them
مَّا
mas
whatever
ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُم
taṭaʻtum
you able (to)
مِّن
miñ
of
قُوَّةٖ
q̣uwwatiñw
force
وَمِن
wamir
and of
رِّبَاطِ
ribaaṭil
tethered
ٱلۡخَيۡلِ
khayli
horses
تُرۡهِبُونَ
turhiboona
(to) terrify
بِهِۦ
bihee
therewith
عَدُوَّ
ʻaduwwal
(the) enemy
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
وَعَدُوَّكُمۡ
wa-ʻaduwwakum
and your enemy
وَءَاخَرِينَ
wa-ʹaakhareena
and others
مِن
miñ
from
دُونِهِمۡ
doonihim,
besides them
لَا
laa-
not
تَعۡلَمُونَهُمُ
taʻlamoona-humul
(do) you know them
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
(but) Allah
يَعۡلَمُهُمۡۚ
yaʻlamuhum.
knows them
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And whatever
تُنفِقُواْ
tuñfiq̣oo
you spend
مِن
miñ
from
شَيۡءٖ
shayʹiñ
(any) thing
فِي
fee
in
سَبِيلِ
Sabeelil
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
يُوَفَّ
yuwaffa
it will be fully repaid
إِلَيۡكُمۡ
ʹilaykum
to you
وَأَنتُمۡ
waʹañtum
and you
لَا
laa-
(will) not
تُظۡلَمُونَ
tuz̤̣lamoon.
be wronged
٦٠
8:61
۞وَإِن
Wa-ʹiñ
And if
جَنَحُواْ
janaḥoo
they incline
لِلسَّلۡمِ
lissalmi
to peace
فَٱجۡنَحۡ
fajnaḥ
then you (also) incline
لَهَا
lahaa
to it
وَتَوَكَّلۡ
wa-tawakkal
and put (your) trust
عَلَى
ʻalal
in
ٱللَّهِۚ
laah:
Allah
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹinnahoo
Indeed
هُوَ
Huwas
He
ٱلسَّمِيعُ
Sameeʻul
(is) All-Hearer
ٱلۡعَلِيمُ
ʻAleem.
All-Knower

8:62
وَإِن
Wa-ʹiñy
But if
يُرِيدُوٓاْ
yureedooo
they intend
أَن
ʹañy
to
يَخۡدَعُوكَ
yakhdaʻooka
deceive you
فَإِنَّ
faʹinna
then indeed
حَسۡبَكَ
ḥasbakal
is sufficient for you
ٱللَّهُۚ
laah.
Allah
هُوَ
Huwal
He
ٱلَّذِيٓ
laẓeee
(is) the One Who
أَيَّدَكَ
ʹayyadaka
supported you
بِنَصۡرِهِۦ
binaṣrihee
with His help
وَبِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
wa-bil-Muʹmineen.
and with the believers
٦٢
8:63
وَأَلَّفَ
Wa-ʹallafa
And He (has) put affection
بَيۡنَ
bayna
between
قُلُوبِهِمۡۚ
q̣uloobihim.
their hearts
لَوۡ
Law
If
أَنفَقۡتَ
ʹañfaq̣ta
you (had) spent
مَا
maa-
whatever
فِي
fil
(is) in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
جَمِيعٗا
jameeʻam
all
مَّآ
maaa
not
أَلَّفۡتَ
ʹallafta
(could) you (have) put affection
بَيۡنَ
bayna
between
قُلُوبِهِمۡ
q̣uloobihim
their hearts
وَلَٰكِنَّ
wa-laakinnal
but
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
أَلَّفَ
ʹallafa
(has) put affection
بَيۡنَهُمۡۚ
baynahum;
between them
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹinnahoo
Indeed He
عَزِيزٌ
ʻAzeezun
(is) All-Mighty
حَكِيمٞ
Ḥakeem.
All-Wise
٦٣
8:64
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhan
O
ٱلنَّبِيُّ
nabiyyu
Prophet
حَسۡبُكَ
ḥasbukal
Sufficient for you
ٱللَّهُ
lahu
(is) Allah
وَمَنِ
wa-manit
and whoever
ٱتَّبَعَكَ
tabaʻaka
follows you
مِنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineen.
the believers
٦٤
8:65
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhan
O
ٱلنَّبِيُّ
Nabiyyu
Prophet
حَرِّضِ
ḥarriḍil
Urge
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineena
the believers
عَلَى
ʻalal
to
ٱلۡقِتَالِۚ
q̣itaal.
[the] fight
إِن
ʹIñy
If
يَكُن
yakum
(there) are
مِّنكُمۡ
miñkum
among you
عِشۡرُونَ
ʻishroona
twenty
صَٰبِرُونَ
ṣaabiroona
steadfast
يَغۡلِبُواْ
yag̣liboo
they will overcome
مِاْئَتَيۡنِۚ
miʹatayn;
two hundred
وَإِن
wa-ʹiñy
And if
يَكُن
yakum
(there) are
مِّنكُم
miñkum
among you
مِّاْئَةٞ
miʹatuñy
a hundred
يَغۡلِبُوٓاْ
yag̣libooo
they will overcome
أَلۡفٗا
ʹalfam
a thousand
مِّنَ
minal
of
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieve
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
biʹannahum
because they
قَوۡمٞ
q̣awmul
(are) a people
لَّا
laa
(who do) not
يَفۡقَهُونَ
yafq̣ahoon.
understand
٦٥
8:66
ٱلۡـَٰٔنَ
ʹAlʹaana
Now
خَفَّفَ
khaffafal
has (been) lightened
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
(by) Allah
عَنكُمۡ
ʻañkum
for you
وَعَلِمَ
wa-ʻalima
and He knows
أَنَّ
ʹanna
that
فِيكُمۡ
feekum
in you
ضَعۡفٗاۚ
ḍaʻfaa.
(there) is weakness
فَإِن
Faʹiñy
So if
يَكُن
yakum
(there) are
مِّنكُم
miñkum
among you
مِّاْئَةٞ
miʹatuñ
a hundred
صَابِرَةٞ
Ṣaabiratuñy
steadfast
يَغۡلِبُواْ
yag̣liboo
they will overcome
مِاْئَتَيۡنِۚ
miʹatayn.
two hundred
وَإِن
Wa-ʹiñy
And if
يَكُن
yakum
(there) are
مِّنكُمۡ
miñkum
among you
أَلۡفٞ
ʹalfuñy
a thousand
يَغۡلِبُوٓاْ
yag̣libooo
they will overcome
أَلۡفَيۡنِ
ʹalfayni
two thousand
بِإِذۡنِ
biʹiẓnil
with (the) permission
ٱللَّهِۗ
laah:
(of) Allah
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
And Allah
مَعَ
maʻaṣ
(is) with
ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ
Ṣaabireen.
the steadfast
٦٦
8:67
مَا
Maa-
Not
كَانَ
kaana
is
لِنَبِيٍّ
li-Nabiyyin
for a Prophet
أَن
ʹañy
that
يَكُونَ
yakoona
(there) should be
لَهُۥٓ
lahooo
for him
أَسۡرَىٰ
ʹasraa
prisoners of war
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
يُثۡخِنَ
yus̤khina
he has battled strenuously
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
ʹarḍ.
the land
تُرِيدُونَ
Tureedoona
You desire
عَرَضَ
ʻaraḍad
(the) commodities
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
dunyaa,
(of) the world
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
but Allah
يُرِيدُ
yureedul
desires
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَۗ
ʹAakhirah:
(for you) the Hereafter
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
And Allah
عَزِيزٌ
ʻAzeezun
(is) All-Mighty
حَكِيمٞ
Ḥakeem.
All-Wise
٦٧
8:68
لَّوۡلَا
Law-laa
Had not
كِتَٰبٞ
Kitaabum
an ordainment
مِّنَ
minal
from
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
سَبَقَ
sabaq̣a
preceded
لَمَسَّكُمۡ
lamassakum
surely (would) have touched you
فِيمَآ
fee-maaa
for what
أَخَذۡتُمۡ
ʹakhaẓtum
you took
عَذَابٌ
ʻaẓaabun
a punishment
عَظِيمٞ
ʻaz̤̣eem.
great
٦٨
8:69
فَكُلُواْ
Fakuloo
So eat
مِمَّا
mimmaa
from what
غَنِمۡتُمۡ
g̣animtum
you got as war booty
حَلَٰلٗا
ḥalaalañ
lawful
طَيِّبٗاۚ
ṭayyibaa;
(and) good
وَٱتَّقُواْ
watta
and fear
ٱللَّهَۚ
q̣ullaah:
Allah
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
غَفُورٞ
G̣afoorur
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٞ
Raḥeem.
Most Merciful
٦٩

8:70
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhan
O
ٱلنَّبِيُّ
Nabiyyu
Prophet
قُل
q̣ul
Say
لِّمَن
limañ
to whoever
فِيٓ
feee
(is) in
أَيۡدِيكُم
ʹaydeekum
your hands
مِّنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡأَسۡرَىٰٓ
ʹasraaa
the captives
إِن
ʹiñy
If
يَعۡلَمِ
yaʻlamil
knows
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
فِي
fee
in
قُلُوبِكُمۡ
q̣uloobikum
your hearts
خَيۡرٗا
khayrañy
any good
يُؤۡتِكُمۡ
yuʹtikum
He will give you
خَيۡرٗا
khayram
better
مِّمَّآ
mimmaaa
than what
أُخِذَ
ʹukhiẓa
was taken
مِنكُمۡ
miñkum
from you
وَيَغۡفِرۡ
wa-yag̣fir
and He will forgive
لَكُمۡۚ
lakum:
you
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
And Allah
غَفُورٞ
G̣afoorur
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٞ
Raḥeem.
Most Merciful
٧٠
8:71
وَإِن
Wa-ʹiñy
But if
يُرِيدُواْ
yureedoo
they intend
خِيَانَتَكَ
khiyaanataka
(to) betray you
فَقَدۡ
faq̣ad
certainly
خَانُواْ
khaanul
they have betrayed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
مِن
miñ
from
قَبۡلُ
q̣ablu
before
فَأَمۡكَنَ
faʹamkana
So He gave (you) power
مِنۡهُمۡۗ
minhum.
over them
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
And Allah
عَلِيمٌ
ʻAleemun
(is) All-Knower
حَكِيمٌ
Ḥakeem.
All-Wise
٧١
8:72
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believed
وَهَاجَرُواْ
wa-haajaroo
and emigrated
وَجَٰهَدُواْ
wa-jaahadoo
and strove hard
بِأَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ
biʹamwaalihim
with their wealth
وَأَنفُسِهِمۡ
wa-ʹañfusihim
and their lives
فِي
fee
in
سَبِيلِ
Sabeelil
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wallaẓeena
and those who
ءَاوَواْ
ʹaawaw
gave shelter
وَّنَصَرُوٓاْ
Wanaṣarooo
and helped
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹulaaaʹika
those
بَعۡضُهُمۡ
baʻḍuhum
some of them
أَوۡلِيَآءُ
ʹawliyaaaʹu
(are) allies
بَعۡضٖۚ
baʻḍ.
(of) another
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
But those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believed
وَلَمۡ
wa-lam
and (did) not
يُهَاجِرُواْ
yuhaajiroo
emigrate
مَا
maa-
(it is) not
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّن
miñw
(of)
وَلَٰيَتِهِم
walaayatihim
their protection
مِّن
miñ
(in)
شَيۡءٍ
shayʹin
(in) anything
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
يُهَاجِرُواْۚ
yuhaajiroo;
they emigrate
وَإِنِ
wa-ʹinis
And if
ٱسۡتَنصَرُوكُمۡ
tañṣarookum
they seek your help
فِي
fid
in
ٱلدِّينِ
deeni
the religion
فَعَلَيۡكُمُ
faʻalayku
then upon you
ٱلنَّصۡرُ
munnaṣru
(is to) help them
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
against
قَوۡمِۭ
q̣awmim
a people
بَيۡنَكُمۡ
baynakum
between you
وَبَيۡنَهُم
wa-baynahum
and between them
مِّيثَٰقٞۗ
Mees̤aaq̣.
(is) a treaty
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
And Allah
بِمَا
bimaa
of what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
taʻmaloona
you do
بَصِيرٞ
Baṣeer.
(is) All-Seer
٧٢
8:73
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
And those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieve
بَعۡضُهُمۡ
baʻḍuhum
some of them
أَوۡلِيَآءُ
ʹawliyaaaʹu
(are) allies
بَعۡضٍۚ
baʻḍ:
(to) another
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
If not
تَفۡعَلُوهُ
tafʻaloohu
you do it
تَكُن
takuñ
(there) will be
فِتۡنَةٞ
fitnatuñ
oppression
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
وَفَسَادٞ
wa-fasaaduñ
and corruption
كَبِيرٞ
kabeer.
great
٧٣
8:74
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
And those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believed
وَهَاجَرُواْ
wa-haajaroo
and emigrated
وَجَٰهَدُواْ
wa-jaahadoo
and strove hard
فِي
fee
in
سَبِيلِ
Sabeelil
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wallaẓeena
and those who
ءَاوَواْ
ʹaawaw
gave shelter
وَّنَصَرُوٓاْ
Wanaṣarooo
and helped
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹulaaaʹika
those
هُمُ
humul
they (are)
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
Muʹminoona
the believers
حَقّٗاۚ
ḥaq̣q̣aa:
(in) truth
لَّهُم
lahum
For them
مَّغۡفِرَةٞ
mag̣firatuñw
(is) forgiveness
وَرِزۡقٞ
warizq̣uñ
and a provision
كَرِيمٞ
Kareem.
noble
٧٤
8:75
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
And those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believed
مِنۢ
mim
from
بَعۡدُ
baʻdu
afterwards
وَهَاجَرُواْ
wa-haajaroo
and emigrated
وَجَٰهَدُواْ
wa-jaahadoo
and strove hard
مَعَكُمۡ
maʻakum
with you
فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
faʹulaaaʹika
then those
مِنكُمۡۚ
miñkum.
(are) of you
وَأُوْلُواْ
Wa-ʹulul
But those
ٱلۡأَرۡحَامِ
ʹarḥaami
(of) blood relationship
بَعۡضُهُمۡ
baʻḍuhum
some of them
أَوۡلَىٰ
ʹawlaa
(are) nearer
بِبَعۡضٖ
bibaʻḍiñ
to another
فِي
fee
in
كِتَٰبِ
Kitaabil
(the) Book
ٱللَّهِۚ
laah.
(of) Allah
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
بِكُلِّ
bikulli
of every
شَيۡءٍ
shayʹin
thing
عَلِيمُۢ
ʻAleem.
(is) All-Knower
