78:3ٱلَّذِيʹAllaẓee(About) whichهُمۡhumtheyفِيهِfeehi(are) concerning itمُخۡتَلِفُونَmukhtalifoon.(in) disagreement٣
78:6أَلَمۡʹAlamHave notنَجۡعَلِnajʻalilWe madeٱلۡأَرۡضَʹarḍathe earthمِهَٰدٗاmihaadaa,a resting place٦
78:12وَبَنَيۡنَاWa-banaynaaAnd We constructedفَوۡقَكُمۡfawq̣akumover youسَبۡعٗاsab-ʻañsevenشِدَادٗاshi-daadaa,strong١٢
78:14وَأَنزَلۡنَاWa-ʹañzalnaaAnd We sent downمِنَminalfromٱلۡمُعۡصِرَٰتِmuʻṣiraatithe rain cloudsمَآءٗmaaa-ʹañwaterثَجَّاجٗاs̤ajjaajaa,pouring abundantly١٤
78:15لِّنُخۡرِجَLinukhrijaThat We may bring forthبِهِۦbiheetherebyحَبّٗاḥabbañwgrainوَنَبَاتٗاwanabaataa,and vegetation١٥
78:17إِنَّʹInnaIndeedيَوۡمَYawmal(the) DayٱلۡفَصۡلِFaṣli(of) the Judgmentكَانَkaanaisمِيقَٰتٗاmeeq̣aataa,―an appointed time١٧
78:18يَوۡمَYawma(The) Dayيُنفَخُyuñ-fakhu(in which) shall be blownفِيfiṣinٱلصُّورِṢoorithe trumpetفَتَأۡتُونَfataʹtoonaand you will come forthأَفۡوَاجٗاʹafwaajaa;(in) crowds١٨
78:19وَفُتِحَتِWa-futiḥa-tisAnd is openedٱلسَّمَآءُsamaaaʹuthe heavenفَكَانَتۡfakaanatand becomesأَبۡوَٰبٗاʹabwaabaa,gateways١٩
78:20وَسُيِّرَتِWa-suyyi-ratilAnd are movedٱلۡجِبَالُjibaaluthe mountainsفَكَانَتۡfakaanatand becomeسَرَابًاsaraabaa.a mirage٢٠
78:23لَّٰبِثِينَLaa-bis̤eena(They will) be remainingفِيهَآfeehaaathereinأَحۡقَابٗاʹaḥq̣aabaa.(for) ages٢٣
78:24لَّاLaa-Notيَذُوقُونَyaẓooq̣oonathey will tasteفِيهَاfeehaathereinبَرۡدٗاbar-dañwcoolnessوَلَاwalaa-and notشَرَابًاsharaabaa,any drink٢٤
