قَوۡمَكَ

أَن

يَأۡتِيَهُمۡ
yatiyahum
comes to them
عَذَابٌ
adhabun
a punishment
أَلِيمٞ
alimun
painful

71:2
قَالَ
qala
He said
يَٰقَوۡمِ
yaqawmi
O my people
إِنِّي
inni
Indeed I am
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
نَذِيرٞ
nadhirun
a warner
مُّبِينٌ
mubinun
clear
٢
71:3
أَنِ
ani
That
ٱعۡبُدُواْ
u'budu
Worship
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَٱتَّقُوهُ
wa-ittaquhu
and fear Him
وَأَطِيعُونِ
wa-ati'uni
and obey me
٣
71:4
يَغۡفِرۡ
yaghfir
He will forgive
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّن
min
[of]
ذُنُوبِكُمۡ
dhunubikum
your sins
وَيُؤَخِّرۡكُمۡ
wayu-akhir'kum
and give you respite
إِلَىٰٓ
ila
for
أَجَلٖ
ajalin
a term
مُّسَمًّىۚ
musamman
specified
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
أَجَلَ
ajala
(the) term
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
إِذَا
idha
when
جَآءَ
jaa
it comes
لَا
la
not
يُؤَخَّرُۚ
yu-akharu
is delayed
لَوۡ
law
if
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
you
تَعۡلَمُونَ
ta'lamuna
know
٤
71:5
قَالَ
qala
He said
رَبِّ
rabbi
My Lord
إِنِّي
inni
Indeed I
دَعَوۡتُ
da'awtu
invited
قَوۡمِي
qawmi
my people
لَيۡلٗا
laylan
night
وَنَهَارٗا
wanaharan
and day
٥
71:6
فَلَمۡ
falam
But not
يَزِدۡهُمۡ
yazid'hum
increased them
دُعَآءِيٓ
du'ai
my invitation
إِلَّا
illa
except
فِرَارٗا
firaran
(in) flight
٦
71:7
وَإِنِّي
wa-inni
And indeed I
كُلَّمَا
kullama
every time
دَعَوۡتُهُمۡ
da'awtuhum
I invited them
لِتَغۡفِرَ
litaghfira
that You may forgive
لَهُمۡ
lahum
them
جَعَلُوٓاْ
ja'alu
they put
أَصَٰبِعَهُمۡ
asabi'ahum
their fingers
فِيٓ
fi
in
ءَاذَانِهِمۡ
adhanihim
their ears
وَٱسۡتَغۡشَوۡاْ
wa-is'taghshaw
and covered themselves
ثِيَابَهُمۡ
thiyabahum
(with) their garments
وَأَصَرُّواْ
wa-asarru
and persisted
وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ
wa-is'takbaru
and were arrogant
ٱسۡتِكۡبَارٗا
is'tik'baran
(with) pride
٧
71:8
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
إِنِّي
inni
indeed I
دَعَوۡتُهُمۡ
da'awtuhum
invited them
جِهَارٗا
jiharan
publicly
٨
71:9
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
إِنِّيٓ
inni
indeed I
أَعۡلَنتُ
a'lantu
announced
لَهُمۡ
lahum
to them
وَأَسۡرَرۡتُ
wa-asrartu
and I confided
لَهُمۡ
lahum
to them
إِسۡرَارٗا
is'raran
secretly
٩
71:10
فَقُلۡتُ
faqul'tu
Then I said
ٱسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ
is'taghfiru
Ask forgiveness
رَبَّكُمۡ
rabbakum
(from) your Lord
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed He
كَانَ
kana
is
غَفَّارٗا
ghaffaran
Oft-Forgiving

يُرۡسِلِ
yur'sili
He will send down
ٱلسَّمَآءَ
al-samaa
(rain from) the sky
عَلَيۡكُم
alaykum
upon you
مِّدۡرَارٗا
mid'raran
(in) abundance
١١
71:12
وَيُمۡدِدۡكُم
wayum'did'kum
And provide you
بِأَمۡوَٰلٖ
bi-amwalin
with wealth
وَبَنِينَ
wabanina
and children
وَيَجۡعَل
wayaj'al
and make
لَّكُمۡ
lakum
for you
جَنَّٰتٖ
jannatin
gardens
وَيَجۡعَل
wayaj'al
and make
لَّكُمۡ
lakum
for you
أَنۡهَٰرٗا
anharan
rivers
١٢
71:13
مَّا
ma
What
لَكُمۡ
lakum
(is) for you
لَا
la
not
تَرۡجُونَ
tarjuna
you attribute
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
to Allah
وَقَارٗا
waqaran
grandeur
١٣
71:14
وَقَدۡ
waqad
And indeed
خَلَقَكُمۡ
khalaqakum
He created you
أَطۡوَارًا
atwaran
(in) stages
١٤
71:15
أَلَمۡ
alam
Do not
تَرَوۡاْ
taraw
you see
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
خَلَقَ
khalaqa
did create
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
سَبۡعَ
sab'a
(the) seven
سَمَٰوَٰتٖ
samawatin
heavens
طِبَاقٗا
tibaqan
(in) layers
١٥
71:16
وَجَعَلَ
waja'ala
And made
ٱلۡقَمَرَ
al-qamara
the moon
فِيهِنَّ
fihinna
therein
نُورٗا
nuran
a light
وَجَعَلَ
waja'ala
and made
ٱلشَّمۡسَ
al-shamsa
the sun
سِرَاجٗا
sirajan
a lamp
١٦
71:17
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
أَنۢبَتَكُم
anbatakum
has caused you to grow
مِّنَ
mina
from
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
نَبَاتٗا
nabatan
(as) a growth
١٧
71:18
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
يُعِيدُكُمۡ
yu'idukum
He will return you
فِيهَا
fiha
into it
وَيُخۡرِجُكُمۡ
wayukh'rijukum
and bring you forth
إِخۡرَاجٗا
ikh'rajan
(a new) bringing forth
١٨
71:19
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
جَعَلَ
ja'ala
made
لَكُمُ
lakumu
for you
ٱلۡأَرۡضَ
al-arda
the earth
بِسَاطٗا
bisatan
an expanse
١٩
71:20
لِّتَسۡلُكُواْ
litasluku
That you may go along
مِنۡهَا
min'ha
therein
سُبُلٗا
subulan
(in) paths
فِجَاجٗا
fijajan
wide
٢٠
71:21
قَالَ
qala
Said
نُوحٞ
nuhun
Nuh
رَّبِّ
rabbi
My Lord
إِنَّهُمۡ
innahum
Indeed they
عَصَوۡنِي
asawni
disobeyed me
وَٱتَّبَعُواْ
wa-ittaba'u
and followed
مَن
man
(the one) who
لَّمۡ
lam
(did) not
يَزِدۡهُ
yazid'hu
increase him
مَالُهُۥ
maluhu
his wealth
وَوَلَدُهُۥٓ
wawaladuhu
and his children
إِلَّا
illa
except
خَسَارٗا
khasaran
(in) loss
٢١
71:22
وَمَكَرُواْ
wamakaru
And they have planned
مَكۡرٗا
makran
a plan
كُبَّارٗا
kubbaran
great
٢٢
71:23
وَقَالُواْ
waqalu
And they said
لَا
la
(Do) not
تَذَرُنَّ
tadharunna
leave
ءَالِهَتَكُمۡ
alihatakum
your gods
وَلَا
wala
and (do) not
تَذَرُنَّ
tadharunna
leave
وَدّٗا
waddan
Wadd
وَلَا
wala
and not
سُوَاعٗا
suwa'an
Suwa
وَلَا
wala
and not
يَغُوثَ
yaghutha
Yaguth
وَيَعُوقَ
waya'uqa
and Yauq
وَنَسۡرٗا
wanasran
and Nasr
٢٣
71:24
وَقَدۡ
waqad
And indeed
أَضَلُّواْ
adallu
they have led astray
كَثِيرٗاۖ
kathiran
many
وَلَا
wala
And not
تَزِدِ
tazidi
increase
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
al-zalimina
the wrongdoers
إِلَّا
illa
except
ضَلَٰلٗا
dalalan
(in) error
٢٤
71:25
مِّمَّا
mimma
Because of
خَطِيٓـَٰٔتِهِمۡ
khatiatihim
their sins
أُغۡرِقُواْ
ugh'riqu
they were drowned
فَأُدۡخِلُواْ
fa-ud'khilu
then made to enter
نَارٗا
naran
(the) Fire
فَلَمۡ
falam
and not
يَجِدُواْ
yajidu
they found
لَهُم
lahum
for themselves
مِّن
min
from
دُونِ
duni
besides
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
أَنصَارٗا
ansaran
any helpers
٢٥
71:26
وَقَالَ
waqala
And said
نُوحٞ
nuhun
Nuh
رَّبِّ
rabbi
My Lord
لَا
la
(Do) not
تَذَرۡ
tadhar
leave
عَلَى
ala
on
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
مِنَ
mina
any
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
al-kafirina
(of) the disbelievers
دَيَّارًا
dayyaran
(as) an inhabitant
٢٦
71:27
إِنَّكَ
innaka
Indeed You
إِن
in
if
تَذَرۡهُمۡ
tadharhum
You leave them
يُضِلُّواْ
yudillu
they will mislead
عِبَادَكَ
ibadaka
Your slaves
وَلَا
wala
and not
يَلِدُوٓاْ
yalidu
they will beget
إِلَّا
illa
except
فَاجِرٗا
fajiran
a wicked
كَفَّارٗا
kaffaran
a disbeliever
٢٧
71:28
رَّبِّ
rabbi
My Lord
ٱغۡفِرۡ
igh'fir
Forgive
لِي
li
me
وَلِوَٰلِدَيَّ
waliwalidayya
and my parents
وَلِمَن
waliman
and whoever
دَخَلَ
dakhala
enters
بَيۡتِيَ
baytiya
my house
مُؤۡمِنٗا
mu'minan
a believer
وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
walil'mu'minina
and the believing men
وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِۖ
wal-mu'minati
and the believing women
وَلَا
wala
And (do) not
تَزِدِ
tazidi
increase
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
al-zalimina
the wrongdoers
إِلَّا
illa
except
تَبَارَۢا
tabaran
(in) destruction
