ٱتَّخَذُواْ

دِينَهُمۡ

their religion
لَهۡوٗا

(as) an amusement
وَلَعِبٗا
wala'iban
and play
وَغَرَّتۡهُمُ
wagharrathumu
and deluded them
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ
al-hayatu
the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَاۚ
al-dun'ya
(of) the world
فَٱلۡيَوۡمَ
fal-yawma
So today
نَنسَىٰهُمۡ
nansahum
We forget them
كَمَا
kama
as
نَسُواْ
nasu
they forgot
لِقَآءَ
liqaa
(the) meeting
يَوۡمِهِمۡ
yawmihim
(of) their day
هَٰذَا
hadha
this
وَمَا
wama
and [what]
كَانُواْ
kanu
(as) they used to
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
biayatina
with Our Verses
يَجۡحَدُونَ
yajhaduna
they reject

وَلَقَدۡ
walaqad
And certainly
جِئۡنَٰهُم
ji'nahum
We had brought them
بِكِتَٰبٖ
bikitabin
a Book
فَصَّلۡنَٰهُ
fassalnahu
which We have explained
عَلَىٰ
ala
with
عِلۡمٍ
il'min
knowledge
هُدٗى
hudan
as guidance
وَرَحۡمَةٗ
warahmatan
and mercy
لِّقَوۡمٖ
liqawmin
for a people
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yu'minuna
who believe
٥٢
7:53
هَلۡ
hal
Do
يَنظُرُونَ
yanzuruna
they wait
إِلَّا
illa
except
تَأۡوِيلَهُۥۚ
tawilahu
(for) its fulfillment
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(The) Day
يَأۡتِي
yati
(will) come
تَأۡوِيلُهُۥ
tawiluhu
its fulfillment
يَقُولُ
yaqulu
will say
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
نَسُوهُ
nasuhu
had forgotten it
مِن
min
from
قَبۡلُ
qablu
before
قَدۡ
qad
Verily
جَآءَتۡ
jaat
had come
رُسُلُ
rusulu
(the) Messengers
رَبِّنَا
rabbina
(of) our Lord
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
bil-haqi
with the truth
فَهَل
fahal
so are (there)
لَّنَا
lana
for us
مِن
min
any
شُفَعَآءَ
shufa'aa
intercessors
فَيَشۡفَعُواْ
fayashfa'u
so (that) they intercede
لَنَآ
lana
for us
أَوۡ
aw
or
نُرَدُّ
nuraddu
we are sent back
فَنَعۡمَلَ
fana'mala
so (that) we do (deeds)
غَيۡرَ
ghayra
other than
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
that which
كُنَّا
kunna
we used to
نَعۡمَلُۚ
na'malu
do
قَدۡ
qad
Verily
خَسِرُوٓاْ
khasiru
they lost
أَنفُسَهُمۡ
anfusahum
themselves
وَضَلَّ
wadalla
and strayed
عَنۡهُم
anhum
from them
مَّا
ma
what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used to
يَفۡتَرُونَ
yaftaruna
invent
٥٣
7:54
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
رَبَّكُمُ
rabbakumu
your Lord
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(is) Allah
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
the One Who
خَلَقَ
khalaqa
created
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ
wal-arda
and the earth
فِي
fi
in
سِتَّةِ
sittati
six
أَيَّامٖ
ayyamin
epochs
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
ٱسۡتَوَىٰ
is'tawa
He ascended
عَلَى
ala
on
ٱلۡعَرۡشِۖ
al-'arshi
the Throne
يُغۡشِي
yugh'shi
He covers
ٱلَّيۡلَ
al-layla
the night
ٱلنَّهَارَ
al-nahara
(with) the day
يَطۡلُبُهُۥ
yatlubuhu
seeking it
حَثِيثٗا
hathithan
rapidly
وَٱلشَّمۡسَ
wal-shamsa
and the sun
وَٱلۡقَمَرَ
wal-qamara
and the moon
وَٱلنُّجُومَ
wal-nujuma
and the stars
مُسَخَّرَٰتِۭ
musakharatin
subjected
بِأَمۡرِهِۦٓۗ
bi-amrihi
by His command
أَلَا
ala
Unquestionably
لَهُ
lahu
for Him
ٱلۡخَلۡقُ
al-khalqu
(is) the creation
وَٱلۡأَمۡرُۗ
wal-amru
and the command
تَبَارَكَ
tabaraka
blessed
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(is) Allah
رَبُّ
rabbu
Lord
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
al-'alamina
(of) the worlds
٥٤
7:55
ٱدۡعُواْ
id'u
Call upon
رَبَّكُمۡ
rabbakum
your Lord
تَضَرُّعٗا
tadarru'an
humbly
وَخُفۡيَةًۚ
wakhuf'yatan
and privately
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed He
لَا
la
(does) not
يُحِبُّ
yuhibbu
love
ٱلۡمُعۡتَدِينَ
al-mu'tadina
the transgressors
٥٥
7:56
وَلَا
wala
And (do) not
تُفۡسِدُواْ
tuf'sidu
cause corruption
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
بَعۡدَ
ba'da
after
إِصۡلَٰحِهَا
is'lahiha
its reformation
وَٱدۡعُوهُ
wa-id'uhu
And call Him
خَوۡفٗا
khawfan
(in) fear
وَطَمَعًاۚ
watama'an
and hope
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
رَحۡمَتَ
rahmata
(the) Mercy
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
قَرِيبٞ
qaribun
(is) near
مِّنَ
mina
for
ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
al-muh'sinina
the good-doers
٥٦
7:57
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
And He
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
(is) the One Who
يُرۡسِلُ
yur'silu
sends
ٱلرِّيَٰحَ
al-riyaha
the winds
بُشۡرَۢا
bush'ran
(as) glad tidings
بَيۡنَ
bayna
from
يَدَيۡ
yaday
before
رَحۡمَتِهِۦۖ
rahmatihi
His Mercy
حَتَّىٰٓ
hatta
until
إِذَآ
idha
when
أَقَلَّتۡ
aqallat
they have carried
سَحَابٗا
sahaban
clouds
ثِقَالٗا
thiqalan
heavy
سُقۡنَٰهُ
suq'nahu
We drive them
لِبَلَدٖ
libaladin
to a land
مَّيِّتٖ
mayyitin
dead
فَأَنزَلۡنَا
fa-anzalna
then We send down
بِهِ
bihi
from it
ٱلۡمَآءَ
al-maa
the water
فَأَخۡرَجۡنَا
fa-akhrajna
then We bring forth
بِهِۦ
bihi
from it
مِن
min
(of)
كُلِّ
kulli
all (kinds)
ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِۚ
al-thamarati
(of) fruits
كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhalika
Thus
نُخۡرِجُ
nukh'riju
We will bring forth
ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ
al-mawta
the dead
لَعَلَّكُمۡ
la'allakum
so that you may
تَذَكَّرُونَ
tadhakkaruna
take heed
٥٧

7:58
وَٱلۡبَلَدُ
wal-baladu
And the land
ٱلطَّيِّبُ
al-tayibu
[the] pure
يَخۡرُجُ
yakhruju
comes forth
نَبَاتُهُۥ
nabatuhu
its vegetation
بِإِذۡنِ
bi-idh'ni
by (the) permission
رَبِّهِۦۖ
rabbihi
(of) its Lord
وَٱلَّذِي
wa-alladhi
but which
خَبُثَ
khabutha
is bad
لَا
la
(does) not
يَخۡرُجُ
yakhruju
come forth
إِلَّا
illa
except
نَكِدٗاۚ
nakidan
(with) difficulty
كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhalika
Thus
نُصَرِّفُ
nusarrifu
We explain
ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ
al-ayati
the Signs
لِقَوۡمٖ
liqawmin
for a people
يَشۡكُرُونَ
yashkuruna
who are grateful
٥٨
7:59
لَقَدۡ
laqad
Certainly
أَرۡسَلۡنَا
arsalna
We sent
نُوحًا
nuhan
Nuh
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
قَوۡمِهِۦ
qawmihi
his people
فَقَالَ
faqala
and he said
يَٰقَوۡمِ
yaqawmi
O my people
ٱعۡبُدُواْ
u'budu
Worship
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
مَا
ma
not
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّنۡ
min
any
إِلَٰهٍ
ilahin
god
غَيۡرُهُۥٓ
ghayruhu
other than Him
إِنِّيٓ
inni
Indeed I
أَخَافُ
akhafu
[I] fear
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
alaykum
for you
عَذَابَ
adhaba
punishment
يَوۡمٍ
yawmin
(of the) Day
عَظِيمٖ
azimin
Great
٥٩
7:60
قَالَ
qala
Said
ٱلۡمَلَأُ
al-mala-u
the chiefs
مِن
min
of
قَوۡمِهِۦٓ
qawmihi
his people
إِنَّا
inna
Indeed we
لَنَرَىٰكَ
lanaraka
surely see you
فِي
fi
in
ضَلَٰلٖ
dalalin
error
مُّبِينٖ
mubinin
clear
٦٠
7:61
قَالَ
qala
He said
يَٰقَوۡمِ
yaqawmi
O my people
لَيۡسَ
laysa
There is not
بِي
bi
in me
ضَلَٰلَةٞ
dalalatun
error
وَلَٰكِنِّي
walakinni
but I am
رَسُولٞ
rasulun
a Messenger
مِّن
min
from
رَّبِّ
rabbi
(the) Lord
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
al-'alamina
(of) the worlds
٦١
7:62
أُبَلِّغُكُمۡ
uballighukum
I convey to you
رِسَٰلَٰتِ
risalati
the Messages
رَبِّي
rabbi
(of) my Lord
وَأَنصَحُ
wa-ansahu
and [I] advise
لَكُمۡ
lakum
[to] you
وَأَعۡلَمُ
wa-a'lamu
and I know
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
مَا
ma
what
لَا
la
not
تَعۡلَمُونَ
ta'lamuna
you know
٦٢
7:63
أَوَعَجِبۡتُمۡ
awa'ajib'tum
Do you wonder
أَن
an
that
جَآءَكُمۡ
jaakum
has come to you
ذِكۡرٞ
dhik'run
a reminder
مِّن
min
from
رَّبِّكُمۡ
rabbikum
your Lord
عَلَىٰ
ala
on
رَجُلٖ
rajulin
a man
مِّنكُمۡ
minkum
among you
لِيُنذِرَكُمۡ
liyundhirakum
that he may warn you
وَلِتَتَّقُواْ
walitattaqu
and that you may fear
وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ
wala'allakum
and so that you may
تُرۡحَمُونَ
tur'hamuna
receive mercy
٦٣
7:64
فَكَذَّبُوهُ
fakadhabuhu
But they denied him
فَأَنجَيۡنَٰهُ
fa-anjaynahu
so We saved him
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
and those who
مَعَهُۥ
ma'ahu
(were) with him
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡفُلۡكِ
al-ful'ki
the ship
وَأَغۡرَقۡنَا
wa-aghraqna
And We drowned
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَذَّبُواْ
kadhabu
denied
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآۚ
biayatina
Our Verses
إِنَّهُمۡ
innahum
Indeed they
كَانُواْ
kanu
were
قَوۡمًا
qawman
a people
عَمِينَ
amina
blind
٦٤
7:65
۞وَإِلَىٰ
wa-ila
And to
عَادٍ
adin
Aad
أَخَاهُمۡ
akhahum
(We sent) their brother
هُودٗاۚ
hudan
Hud
قَالَ
qala
He said
يَٰقَوۡمِ
yaqawmi
O my people
ٱعۡبُدُواْ
u'budu
Worship
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
مَا
ma
not
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّنۡ
min
any
إِلَٰهٍ
ilahin
god
غَيۡرُهُۥٓۚ
ghayruhu
other than Him
أَفَلَا
afala
Then will not
تَتَّقُونَ
tattaquna
you fear (Allah)
٦٥
7:66
قَالَ
qala
Said
ٱلۡمَلَأُ
al-mala-u
the chiefs
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(of) those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieved
مِن
min
from
قَوۡمِهِۦٓ
qawmihi
his people
إِنَّا
inna
Indeed we
لَنَرَىٰكَ
lanaraka
surely see you
فِي
fi
in
سَفَاهَةٖ
safahatin
foolishness
وَإِنَّا
wa-inna
and indeed we
لَنَظُنُّكَ
lanazunnuka
[we] think you
مِنَ
mina
(are) of
ٱلۡكَٰذِبِينَ
al-kadhibina
the liars
٦٦
7:67
قَالَ
qala
He said
يَٰقَوۡمِ
yaqawmi
O my people
لَيۡسَ
laysa
There is not
بِي
bi
in me
سَفَاهَةٞ
safahatun
foolishness
وَلَٰكِنِّي
walakinni
but I am
رَسُولٞ
rasulun
a Messenger
مِّن
min
from
رَّبِّ
rabbi
(the) Lord
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
al-'alamina
(of) the worlds
٦٧

7:68
أُبَلِّغُكُمۡ
uballighukum
I convey to you
رِسَٰلَٰتِ
risalati
Messages
رَبِّي
rabbi
(of) my Lord
وَأَنَا۠
wa-ana
and I am
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
نَاصِحٌ
nasihun
an adviser
أَمِينٌ
aminun
trustworthy
٦٨
7:69
أَوَعَجِبۡتُمۡ
awa'ajib'tum
Do you wonder
أَن
an
that
جَآءَكُمۡ
jaakum
has come to you
ذِكۡرٞ
dhik'run
a reminder
مِّن
min
from
رَّبِّكُمۡ
rabbikum
your Lord
عَلَىٰ
ala
on
رَجُلٖ
rajulin
a man
مِّنكُمۡ
minkum
among you
لِيُنذِرَكُمۡۚ
liyundhirakum
that he may warn you
وَٱذۡكُرُوٓاْ
wa-udh'kuru
And remember
إِذۡ
idh
when
جَعَلَكُمۡ
ja'alakum
He made you
خُلَفَآءَ
khulafaa
successors
مِنۢ
min
from
بَعۡدِ
ba'di
after
قَوۡمِ
qawmi
(the) people
نُوحٖ
nuhin
(of) Nuh
وَزَادَكُمۡ
wazadakum
and increased you
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡخَلۡقِ
al-khalqi
the stature
بَصۜۡطَةٗۖ
bas'tatan
extensively
فَٱذۡكُرُوٓاْ
fa-udh'kuru
So remember
ءَالَآءَ
alaa
(the) Bounties
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
لَعَلَّكُمۡ
la'allakum
so that you may
تُفۡلِحُونَ
tuf'lihuna
succeed
٦٩
7:70
قَالُوٓاْ
qalu
They said
أَجِئۡتَنَا
aji'tana
Have you come to us
لِنَعۡبُدَ
lina'buda
that we (should) worship
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَحۡدَهُۥ
wahdahu
Alone
وَنَذَرَ
wanadhara
and we forsake
مَا
ma
what
كَانَ
kana
used to
يَعۡبُدُ
ya'budu
worship
ءَابَآؤُنَا
abauna
our forefathers
فَأۡتِنَا
fatina
Then bring us
بِمَا
bima
of what
تَعِدُنَآ
ta'iduna
you promise us
إِن
in
if
كُنتَ
kunta
you are
مِنَ
mina
of
ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
al-sadiqina
the truthful
٧٠
7:71
قَالَ
qala
He said
قَدۡ
qad
Verily
وَقَعَ
waqa'a
has fallen
عَلَيۡكُم
alaykum
upon you
مِّن
min
from
رَّبِّكُمۡ
rabbikum
your Lord
رِجۡسٞ
rij'sun
punishment
وَغَضَبٌۖ
waghadabun
and anger
أَتُجَٰدِلُونَنِي
atujadilunani
Do you dispute with me
فِيٓ
fi
concerning
أَسۡمَآءٖ
asmain
names
سَمَّيۡتُمُوهَآ
sammaytumuha
you have named them
أَنتُمۡ
antum
you
وَءَابَآؤُكُم
waabaukum
and your forefathers
مَّا
ma
Not
نَزَّلَ
nazzala
(has been) sent down
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(by) Allah
بِهَا
biha
for it
مِن
min
any
سُلۡطَٰنٖۚ
sul'tanin
authority
فَٱنتَظِرُوٓاْ
fa-intaziru
Then wait
إِنِّي
inni
indeed I am
مَعَكُم
ma'akum
with you
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡمُنتَظِرِينَ
al-muntazirina
the ones who wait
٧١
7:72
فَأَنجَيۡنَٰهُ
fa-anjaynahu
So We saved him
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
and those
مَعَهُۥ
ma'ahu
with him
بِرَحۡمَةٖ
birahmatin
by Mercy
مِّنَّا
minna
from Us
وَقَطَعۡنَا
waqata'na
And We cut off
دَابِرَ
dabira
the roots
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(of) those who
كَذَّبُواْ
kadhabu
denied
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَاۖ
biayatina
Our Signs
وَمَا
wama
and not
كَانُواْ
kanu
they were
مُؤۡمِنِينَ
mu'minina
believers
٧٢
7:73
وَإِلَىٰ
wa-ila
And to
ثَمُودَ
thamuda
Thamud
أَخَاهُمۡ
akhahum
(We sent) their brother
صَٰلِحٗاۚ
salihan
Salih
قَالَ
qala
He said
يَٰقَوۡمِ
yaqawmi
O my people
ٱعۡبُدُواْ
u'budu
Worship
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
مَا
ma
not
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّنۡ
min
any
إِلَٰهٍ
ilahin
god
غَيۡرُهُۥۖ
ghayruhu
other than Him
قَدۡ
qad
Verily
جَآءَتۡكُم
jaatkum
has come to you
بَيِّنَةٞ
bayyinatun
a clear proof
مِّن
min
from
رَّبِّكُمۡۖ
rabbikum
your Lord
هَٰذِهِۦ
hadhihi
This
نَاقَةُ
naqatu
(is) a she-camel
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
لَكُمۡ
lakum
(it is) for you
ءَايَةٗۖ
ayatan
a Sign
فَذَرُوهَا
fadharuha
So you leave her
تَأۡكُلۡ
takul
(to) eat
فِيٓ
fi
on
أَرۡضِ
ardi
(the) earth
ٱللَّهِۖ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَلَا
wala
and (do) not
تَمَسُّوهَا
tamassuha
touch her
بِسُوٓءٖ
bisuin
with harm
فَيَأۡخُذَكُمۡ
fayakhudhakum
lest seizes you
عَذَابٌ
adhabun
a punishment
أَلِيمٞ
alimun
painful
٧٣

وَٱذۡكُرُوٓاْ
wa-udh'kuru
And remember
إِذۡ
idh
when
جَعَلَكُمۡ
ja'alakum
He made you
خُلَفَآءَ
khulafaa
successors
مِنۢ
min
from
بَعۡدِ
ba'di
after
عَادٖ
adin
Aad
وَبَوَّأَكُمۡ
wabawwa-akum
and settled you
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
تَتَّخِذُونَ
tattakhidhuna
You take
مِن
min
from
سُهُولِهَا
suhuliha
its plains
قُصُورٗا
qusuran
palaces
وَتَنۡحِتُونَ
watanhituna
and you carve out
ٱلۡجِبَالَ
al-jibala
the mountains
بُيُوتٗاۖ
buyutan
(as) homes
فَٱذۡكُرُوٓاْ
fa-udh'kuru
So remember
ءَالَآءَ
alaa
(the) Bounties
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَلَا
wala
and (do) not
تَعۡثَوۡاْ
ta'thaw
act wickedly
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
(the) earth
مُفۡسِدِينَ
muf'sidina
spreading corruption
٧٤
7:75
قَالَ
qala
Said
ٱلۡمَلَأُ
al-mala-u
the chiefs
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those
ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ
is'takbaru
(who) were arrogant
مِن
min
among
قَوۡمِهِۦ
qawmihi
his people
لِلَّذِينَ
lilladhina
to those who
ٱسۡتُضۡعِفُواْ
us'tud'ifu
were oppressed
لِمَنۡ
liman
[to] those who
ءَامَنَ
amana
believed
مِنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
among them
أَتَعۡلَمُونَ
ata'lamuna
Do you know
أَنَّ
anna
that
صَٰلِحٗا
salihan
Salih
مُّرۡسَلٞ
mur'salun
(is the) one sent
مِّن
min
from
رَّبِّهِۦۚ
rabbihi
his Lord
قَالُوٓاْ
qalu
They said
إِنَّا
inna
Indeed we
بِمَآ
bima
in what
أُرۡسِلَ
ur'sila
he has been sent
بِهِۦ
bihi
with [it]
مُؤۡمِنُونَ
mu'minuna
(are) believers
٧٥
7:76
قَالَ
qala
Said
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُوٓاْ
is'takbaru
were arrogant
إِنَّا
inna
Indeed we
بِٱلَّذِيٓ
bi-alladhi
in that which
ءَامَنتُم
amantum
you believe
بِهِۦ
bihi
in it
كَٰفِرُونَ
kafiruna
(are) disbelievers
٧٦
7:77
فَعَقَرُواْ
fa'aqaru
Then they hamstrung
ٱلنَّاقَةَ
al-naqata
the she-camel
وَعَتَوۡاْ
wa'ataw
and (were) insolent
عَنۡ
an
towards
أَمۡرِ
amri
(the) command
رَبِّهِمۡ
rabbihim
(of) their Lord
وَقَالُواْ
waqalu
and they said
يَٰصَٰلِحُ
yasalihu
O Salih
ٱئۡتِنَا
i'tina
Bring us
بِمَا
bima
what
تَعِدُنَآ
ta'iduna
you promise us
إِن
in
if
كُنتَ
kunta
you are
مِنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
al-mur'salina
the Messengers
٧٧
7:78
فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ
fa-akhadhathumu
So seized them
ٱلرَّجۡفَةُ
al-rajfatu
the earthquake
فَأَصۡبَحُواْ
fa-asbahu
then they became
فِي
fi
in
دَارِهِمۡ
darihim
their homes

فَتَوَلَّىٰ
fatawalla
So he turned away
عَنۡهُمۡ
anhum
from them
وَقَالَ
waqala
and he said
يَٰقَوۡمِ
yaqawmi
O my people
لَقَدۡ
laqad
Verily
أَبۡلَغۡتُكُمۡ
ablaghtukum
I have conveyed to you
رِسَالَةَ
risalata
(the) Message
رَبِّي
rabbi
(of) my Lord
وَنَصَحۡتُ
wanasahtu
and [I] advised
لَكُمۡ
lakum
[to] you
وَلَٰكِن
walakin
but
لَّا
la
not
تُحِبُّونَ
tuhibbuna
you like
ٱلنَّٰصِحِينَ
al-nasihina
the advisers
٧٩
7:80
وَلُوطًا
walutan
And Lut
إِذۡ
idh
when
قَالَ
qala
he said
لِقَوۡمِهِۦٓ
liqawmihi
to his people
أَتَأۡتُونَ
atatuna
Do you commit
ٱلۡفَٰحِشَةَ
al-fahishata
(such) immorality
مَا
ma
not
سَبَقَكُم
sabaqakum
has preceded you
بِهَا
biha
therein
مِنۡ
min
any
أَحَدٖ
ahadin
one
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
al-'alamina
the worlds
٨٠
7:81
إِنَّكُمۡ
innakum
Indeed you
لَتَأۡتُونَ
latatuna
you approach
ٱلرِّجَالَ
al-rijala
the men
شَهۡوَةٗ
shahwatan
lustfully
مِّن
min
from
دُونِ
duni
instead of
ٱلنِّسَآءِۚ
al-nisai
the women
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
أَنتُمۡ
antum
you
قَوۡمٞ
qawmun
(are) a people
مُّسۡرِفُونَ
mus'rifuna
(who) commit excesses

7:82
وَمَا
wama
And not
كَانَ
kana
was
جَوَابَ
jawaba
(the) answer
قَوۡمِهِۦٓ
qawmihi
(of) his people
إِلَّآ
illa
except
أَن
an
that
قَالُوٓاْ
qalu
they said
أَخۡرِجُوهُم
akhrijuhum
Drive them out
مِّن
min
of
قَرۡيَتِكُمۡۖ
qaryatikum
your town
إِنَّهُمۡ
innahum
Indeed they
أُنَاسٞ
unasun
(are) people
يَتَطَهَّرُونَ
yatatahharuna
who keep themselves pure
٨٢
7:83
فَأَنجَيۡنَٰهُ
fa-anjaynahu
So We saved him
وَأَهۡلَهُۥٓ
wa-ahlahu
and his family
إِلَّا
illa
except
ٱمۡرَأَتَهُۥ
im'ra-atahu
his wife
كَانَتۡ
kanat
she was
مِنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ
al-ghabirina
those who stayed behind
٨٣
7:84
وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا
wa-amtarna
And We showered
عَلَيۡهِم
alayhim
upon them
مَّطَرٗاۖ
mataran
a rain
فَٱنظُرۡ
fa-unzur
So see
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
كَانَ
kana
was
عَٰقِبَةُ
aqibatu
(the) end
ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ
al-muj'rimina
(of) the criminals
٨٤
7:85
وَإِلَىٰ
wa-ila
And to
مَدۡيَنَ
madyana
Madyan
أَخَاهُمۡ
akhahum
their brother
شُعَيۡبٗاۚ
shu'ayban
Shuaib
قَالَ
qala
He said
يَٰقَوۡمِ
yaqawmi
O my people
ٱعۡبُدُواْ
u'budu
Worship
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
مَا
ma
not
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّنۡ
min
any
إِلَٰهٍ
ilahin
god
غَيۡرُهُۥۖ
ghayruhu
other than Him
قَدۡ
qad
Verily
جَآءَتۡكُم
jaatkum
has came to you
بَيِّنَةٞ
bayyinatun
a clear proof
مِّن
min
from
رَّبِّكُمۡۖ
rabbikum
your Lord
فَأَوۡفُواْ
fa-awfu
So give full
ٱلۡكَيۡلَ
al-kayla
[the] measure
وَٱلۡمِيزَانَ
wal-mizana
and the weight
وَلَا
wala
and (do) not
تَبۡخَسُواْ
tabkhasu
deprive
ٱلنَّاسَ
al-nasa
[the] people
أَشۡيَآءَهُمۡ
ashyaahum
in their things
وَلَا
wala
and (do) not
تُفۡسِدُواْ
tuf'sidu
cause corruption
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
بَعۡدَ
ba'da
after
إِصۡلَٰحِهَاۚ
is'lahiha
its reformation
ذَٰلِكُمۡ
dhalikum
That
خَيۡرٞ
khayrun
(is) better
لَّكُمۡ
lakum
for you
إِن
in
if
كُنتُم
kuntum
you are
مُّؤۡمِنِينَ
mu'minina
believers
٨٥
7:86
وَلَا
wala
And (do) not
تَقۡعُدُواْ
taq'udu
sit
بِكُلِّ
bikulli
on every
صِرَٰطٖ
siratin
path
تُوعِدُونَ
tu'iduna
threatening
وَتَصُدُّونَ
watasudduna
and hindering
عَن
an
from
سَبِيلِ
sabili
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
مَنۡ
man
(those) who
ءَامَنَ
amana
believe
بِهِۦ
bihi
in Him
وَتَبۡغُونَهَا
watabghunaha
and seeking (to make) it
عِوَجٗاۚ
iwajan
crooked
وَٱذۡكُرُوٓاْ
wa-udh'kuru
And remember
إِذۡ
idh
when
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
you were
قَلِيلٗا
qalilan
few
فَكَثَّرَكُمۡۖ
fakatharakum
and He increased you
وَٱنظُرُواْ
wa-unzuru
And see
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
كَانَ
kana
was
عَٰقِبَةُ
aqibatu
(the) end
ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ
al-muf'sidina
(of) the corrupters
٨٦
7:87
وَإِن
wa-in
And if
كَانَ
kana
(there) is
طَآئِفَةٞ
taifatun
a group
مِّنكُمۡ
minkum
among you
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
(who has) believed
بِٱلَّذِيٓ
bi-alladhi
in that which
أُرۡسِلۡتُ
ur'sil'tu
I have been sent
بِهِۦ
bihi
with [it]
وَطَآئِفَةٞ
wataifatun
and a group
لَّمۡ
lam
not
يُؤۡمِنُواْ
yu'minu
they believe
فَٱصۡبِرُواْ
fa-is'biru
then be patient
حَتَّىٰ
hatta
until
يَحۡكُمَ
yahkuma
judges
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
بَيۡنَنَاۚ
baynana
between us
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
And He
خَيۡرُ
khayru
(is the) Best
ٱلۡحَٰكِمِينَ
al-hakimina
(of) [the] Judges
٨٧

7:88
۞قَالَ
qala
Said
ٱلۡمَلَأُ
al-mala-u
the chiefs
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(of) those who
ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ
is'takbaru
were arrogant
مِن
min
among
قَوۡمِهِۦ
qawmihi
his people
لَنُخۡرِجَنَّكَ
lanukh'rijannaka
We will surely drive you out
يَٰشُعَيۡبُ
yashu'aybu
O Shuaib
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
And those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
(have) believed
مَعَكَ
ma'aka
with you
مِن
min
from
قَرۡيَتِنَآ
qaryatina
our city
أَوۡ
aw
or
لَتَعُودُنَّ
lata'udunna
you must return
فِي
fi
to
مِلَّتِنَاۚ
millatina
our religion
قَالَ
qala
He said
أَوَلَوۡ
awalaw
Even if
كُنَّا
kunna
we are
كَٰرِهِينَ
karihina
(the) ones who hate (it)
٨٨
7:89
قَدِ
qadi
Verily
ٱفۡتَرَيۡنَا
if'tarayna
we would have fabricated
عَلَى
ala
against
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
كَذِبًا
kadhiban
a lie
إِنۡ
in
if
عُدۡنَا
ud'na
we returned
فِي
fi
in
مِلَّتِكُم
millatikum
your religion
بَعۡدَ
ba'da
after
إِذۡ
idh
[when]
نَجَّىٰنَا
najjana
saved us
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
مِنۡهَاۚ
min'ha
from it
وَمَا
wama
And not
يَكُونُ
yakunu
it is
لَنَآ
lana
for us
أَن
an
that
نَّعُودَ
na'uda
we return
فِيهَآ
fiha
in it
إِلَّآ
illa
except
أَن
an
that
يَشَآءَ
yashaa
wills
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
رَبُّنَاۚ
rabbuna
our Lord
وَسِعَ
wasi'a
Encompasses
رَبُّنَا
rabbuna
(by) Our Lord
كُلَّ
kulla
every
شَيۡءٍ
shayin
thing
عِلۡمًاۚ
il'man
(in) knowledge
عَلَى
ala
Upon
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
تَوَكَّلۡنَاۚ
tawakkalna
we put our trust
رَبَّنَا
rabbana
Our Lord
ٱفۡتَحۡ
if'tah
Decide
بَيۡنَنَا
baynana
between us
وَبَيۡنَ
wabayna
and between
قَوۡمِنَا
qawmina
our people
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
bil-haqi
in truth
وَأَنتَ
wa-anta
and You
خَيۡرُ
khayru
(are the) Best
ٱلۡفَٰتِحِينَ
al-fatihina
(of) those who Decide
٨٩
7:90
وَقَالَ
waqala
And said
ٱلۡمَلَأُ
al-mala-u
the chiefs
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(of) those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieved
مِن
min
among
قَوۡمِهِۦ
qawmihi
his people
لَئِنِ
la-ini
If
ٱتَّبَعۡتُمۡ
ittaba'tum
you follow
شُعَيۡبًا
shu'ayban
Shuaib
إِنَّكُمۡ
innakum
indeed you
إِذٗا
idhan
then
لَّخَٰسِرُونَ
lakhasiruna
(will be) certainly losers
٩٠
7:91
فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ
fa-akhadhathumu
Then seized them
ٱلرَّجۡفَةُ
al-rajfatu
the earthquake
فَأَصۡبَحُواْ
fa-asbahu
then they became
فِي
fi
in
دَارِهِمۡ
darihim
their home(s)
جَٰثِمِينَ
jathimina
fallen prone
٩١
7:92
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
Those who
كَذَّبُواْ
kadhabu
denied
شُعَيۡبٗا
shu'ayban
Shuaib
كَأَن
ka-an
(became) as if
لَّمۡ
lam
not
يَغۡنَوۡاْ
yaghnaw
they (had) lived
فِيهَاۚ
fiha
therein
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
Those who
كَذَّبُواْ
kadhabu
denied
شُعَيۡبٗا
shu'ayban
Shuaib
كَانُواْ
kanu
they were
هُمُ
humu
them
ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ
al-khasirina
the losers
٩٢
7:93
فَتَوَلَّىٰ
fatawalla
So he turned away
عَنۡهُمۡ
anhum
from them
وَقَالَ
waqala
and said
يَٰقَوۡمِ
yaqawmi
O my people
لَقَدۡ
laqad
Verily
أَبۡلَغۡتُكُمۡ
ablaghtukum
I (have) conveyed to you
رِسَٰلَٰتِ
risalati
(the) Messages
رَبِّي
rabbi
(of) my Lord
وَنَصَحۡتُ
wanasahtu
and advised
لَكُمۡۖ
lakum
[to] you
فَكَيۡفَ
fakayfa
So how could
ءَاسَىٰ
asa
I grieve
عَلَىٰ
ala
for
قَوۡمٖ
qawmin
a people
كَٰفِرِينَ
kafirina
(who are) disbelievers
٩٣
7:94
وَمَآ
wama
And not
أَرۡسَلۡنَا
arsalna
We sent
فِي
fi
in
قَرۡيَةٖ
qaryatin
a city
مِّن
min
any
نَّبِيٍّ
nabiyyin
Prophet
إِلَّآ
illa
except
أَخَذۡنَآ
akhadhna
We seized
أَهۡلَهَا
ahlaha
its people
بِٱلۡبَأۡسَآءِ
bil-basai
with adversity
وَٱلضَّرَّآءِ
wal-darai
and hardship
لَعَلَّهُمۡ
la'allahum
so that they may
يَضَّرَّعُونَ
yaddarra'una
(become) humble
٩٤
7:95
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
بَدَّلۡنَا
baddalna
We changed
مَكَانَ
makana
(in) place
ٱلسَّيِّئَةِ
al-sayi-ati
(of) the bad
ٱلۡحَسَنَةَ
al-hasanata
the good
حَتَّىٰ
hatta
until
عَفَواْ
afaw
they increased
وَّقَالُواْ
waqalu
and said
قَدۡ
qad
Verily
مَسَّ
massa
(had) touched
ءَابَآءَنَا
abaana
our forefathers
ٱلضَّرَّآءُ
al-darau
the adversity
وَٱلسَّرَّآءُ
wal-sarau
and the ease
فَأَخَذۡنَٰهُم
fa-akhadhnahum
So We seized them
بَغۡتَةٗ
baghtatan
suddenly
وَهُمۡ
wahum
while they
لَا
la
(did) not
يَشۡعُرُونَ
yash'uruna
perceive
٩٥

7:96
وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
أَنَّ
anna
[that]
أَهۡلَ
ahla
people
ٱلۡقُرَىٰٓ
al-qura
(of) the cities
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
(had) believed
وَٱتَّقَوۡاْ
wa-ittaqaw
and feared Allah
لَفَتَحۡنَا
lafatahna
surely We (would have) opened
عَلَيۡهِم
alayhim
upon them
بَرَكَٰتٖ
barakatin
blessings
مِّنَ
mina
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
al-samai
the heaven
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
wal-ardi
and the earth
وَلَٰكِن
walakin
but
كَذَّبُواْ
kadhabu
they denied
فَأَخَذۡنَٰهُم
fa-akhadhnahum
So We seized them
بِمَا
bima
for what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used to
يَكۡسِبُونَ
yaksibuna
earn
٩٦
7:97
أَفَأَمِنَ
afa-amina
Then did feel secure
أَهۡلُ
ahlu
(the) people
ٱلۡقُرَىٰٓ
al-qura
(of) the cities
أَن
an
that
يَأۡتِيَهُم
yatiyahum
comes to them
بَأۡسُنَا
basuna
Our punishment
بَيَٰتٗا
bayatan
(at) night
وَهُمۡ
wahum
while they
نَآئِمُونَ
naimuna
(were) asleep
٩٧
7:98
أَوَأَمِنَ
awa-amina
Or felt secure
أَهۡلُ
ahlu
(the) people
ٱلۡقُرَىٰٓ
al-qura
(of) the cities
أَن
an
that
يَأۡتِيَهُم
yatiyahum
comes to them
بَأۡسُنَا
basuna
Our punishment
ضُحٗى
duhan
(in) daylight
وَهُمۡ
wahum
while they
يَلۡعَبُونَ
yal'abuna
(were) playing
٩٨
7:99
أَفَأَمِنُواْ
afa-aminu
Then did they feel secure
مَكۡرَ
makra
(from the) plan
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
فَلَا
fala
But not
يَأۡمَنُ
yamanu
feel secure
مَكۡرَ
makra
(from the) plan
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
إِلَّا
illa
except
ٱلۡقَوۡمُ
al-qawmu
the people
ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ
al-khasiruna
(who are) the losers
٩٩
7:100
أَوَلَمۡ
awalam
Would it not
يَهۡدِ
yahdi
guide
لِلَّذِينَ
lilladhina
[for] those who
يَرِثُونَ
yarithuna
inherit
ٱلۡأَرۡضَ
al-arda
the land
مِنۢ
min
from
بَعۡدِ
ba'di
after
أَهۡلِهَآ
ahliha
its people
أَن
an
that
لَّوۡ
law
if
نَشَآءُ
nashau
We willed
أَصَبۡنَٰهُم
asabnahum
We (could) afflict them
بِذُنُوبِهِمۡۚ
bidhunubihim
for their sins
وَنَطۡبَعُ
wanatba'u
and We put a seal
عَلَىٰ
ala
over
قُلُوبِهِمۡ
qulubihim
their hearts
فَهُمۡ
fahum
so they
لَا
la
(do) not
يَسۡمَعُونَ
yasma'una
hear
