يَٰبَنِيٓ
Yaa-Baneee
O Children
ءَادَمَ
ʹaadama
(of) Adam
قَدۡ
q̣ad
Verily
أَنزَلۡنَا
ʹañzalnaa
We have sent down
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
ʻalaykum
to you
لِبَاسٗا
libaasañy
clothing
يُوَٰرِي
yuwaaree
it covers
سَوۡءَٰتِكُمۡ
saw-ʹaatikum
your shame
وَرِيشٗاۖ
wa-reeshaa.
and (as) an adornment
وَلِبَاسُ
Wa-libaasut
But the clothing
ٱلتَّقۡوَىٰ
taq̣waa
(of) [the] righteousness
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
خَيۡرٞۚ
khayr.
(is) best
ذَٰلِكَ
Ẓaalika
That
مِنۡ
min
(is) from
ءَايَٰتِ
ʹAayaatil
(the) Signs
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
لَعَلَّهُمۡ
laʻallahum
so that they may
يَذَّكَّرُونَ
yaẓ-ẓakkaroon.
remember
٢٦
7:27
يَٰبَنِيٓ
Yaa-Baneee
O Children
ءَادَمَ
ʹAadama
(of) Adam
لَا
laa-
(Let) not
يَفۡتِنَنَّكُمُ
yaftinannakumush
tempt you
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ
Shayṭaanu
[the] Shaitaan
كَمَآ
kamaaa
as
أَخۡرَجَ
ʹakhraja
he drove out
أَبَوَيۡكُم
ʹa-bawaykum
your parents
مِّنَ
minal
from
ٱلۡجَنَّةِ
Jannati
Paradise
يَنزِعُ
yañziʻu
stripping
عَنۡهُمَا
ʻanhumaa
from both of them
لِبَاسَهُمَا
libaasahumaa
their clothing
لِيُرِيَهُمَا
liyuriyahumaa
to show both of them
سَوۡءَٰتِهِمَآۚ
saw-ʹaati-himaa.
their shame
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹInnahoo
Indeed he
يَرَىٰكُمۡ
yaraakum
sees you
هُوَ
huwa
he
وَقَبِيلُهُۥ
wa-q̣abeeluhoo
and his tribe
مِنۡ
min
from
حَيۡثُ
ḥays̤u
where
لَا
laa-
not
تَرَوۡنَهُمۡۗ
tarawnahum.
you see them
إِنَّا
ʹInnaa
Indeed
جَعَلۡنَا
jaʻalnash
We have made
ٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ
shayaaṭeena
the devils
أَوۡلِيَآءَ
ʹawliyaaaʹa
friends
لِلَّذِينَ
lillaẓeena
of those who
لَا
laa-
(do) not
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yuʹminoon.
believe
٢٧
7:28
وَإِذَا
Wa-ʹiẓaa
And when
فَعَلُواْ
faʻaloo
they do
فَٰحِشَةٗ
faaḥishatañ
immorality
قَالُواْ
q̣aaloo
they say
وَجَدۡنَا
wajadnaa
We found
عَلَيۡهَآ
ʻalayhaaa
on it
ءَابَآءَنَا
ʹaabaaaʹanaa
our forefathers
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
and Allah
أَمَرَنَا
ʹa-maranaa
(has) ordered us
بِهَاۗ
bihaa.
of it
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
لَا
laa-
(does) not
يَأۡمُرُ
yaʹmuru
order
بِٱلۡفَحۡشَآءِۖ
bilfaḥshaaaʹ.
immorality
أَتَقُولُونَ
ʹA-taq̣ooloona
Do you say
عَلَى
ʻalal
about
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
مَا
maa
what
لَا
laa-
not
تَعۡلَمُونَ
taʻlamoon?
you know
٢٨
7:29
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
أَمَرَ
ʹamara
(Has been) ordered
رَبِّي
Rabbee
(by) my Lord
بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۖ
bil-q̣isṭ.
justice
وَأَقِيمُواْ
Wa-ʹaq̣eemoo
and set
وُجُوهَكُمۡ
wujoohakum
your faces
عِندَ
ʻiñda
at
كُلِّ
kulli
every
مَسۡجِدٖ
masjidiñw
masjid
وَٱدۡعُوهُ
wadʻoohu
and invoke Him
مُخۡلِصِينَ
mukhliṣeena
(being) sincere
لَهُ
lahud
to Him
ٱلدِّينَۚ
deen.
(in) the religion
كَمَا
Kamaa
As
بَدَأَكُمۡ
badaʹakum
He originated you
تَعُودُونَ
taʻoodoon.
(so) will you return
٢٩
7:30
فَرِيقًا
Fareeq̣an
A group
هَدَىٰ
hadaa
He guided
وَفَرِيقًا
wa-fareeq̣an
and a group
حَقَّ
ḥaq̣q̣a
deserved
عَلَيۡهِمُ
ʻalayhimuḍ
[on] they
ٱلضَّلَٰلَةُۚ
ḍalaalah:
the astraying
إِنَّهُمُ
ʹinnahumut
Indeed they
ٱتَّخَذُواْ
takhaẓush
take
ٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ
shayaaṭeena
the devils
أَوۡلِيَآءَ
ʹawliyaaaʹa
(as) allies
مِن
miñ
from
دُونِ
doonil
besides
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
وَيَحۡسَبُونَ
wa-yaḥsaboona
while they think
أَنَّهُم
ʹannahum
that they
مُّهۡتَدُونَ
muhtadoon.
(are the) guided-ones

۞يَٰبَنِيٓ
Yaa-Baaneee
O Children
ءَادَمَ
ʹAadama
(of) Adam
خُذُواْ
khuẓoo
Take
زِينَتَكُمۡ
zeenatakum
your adornment
عِندَ
ʻiñda
at
كُلِّ
kulli
every
مَسۡجِدٖ
masjidiñw
masjid
وَكُلُواْ
wakuloo
and eat
وَٱشۡرَبُواْ
washraboo
and drink
وَلَا
wa-laa
but (do) not
تُسۡرِفُوٓاْۚ
tusrifoo,
be extravagant
إِنَّهُۥ
innahoo
Indeed He
لَا
laa-
(does) not
يُحِبُّ
yuḥibbul
love
ٱلۡمُسۡرِفِينَ
musrifeen.
the extravagant ones
٣١
7:32
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
مَنۡ
man
Who
حَرَّمَ
ḥarrama
has forbidden
زِينَةَ
zeenatal
(the) adornment
ٱللَّهِ
laahil
(from) Allah
ٱلَّتِيٓ
lateee
which
أَخۡرَجَ
ʹakhraja
He has brought forth
لِعِبَادِهِۦ
liʻibaadihee
for His slaves
وَٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ
waṭ-ṭayyibaati
and the pure things
مِنَ
minar
of
ٱلرِّزۡقِۚ
rizq̣?
sustenance
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
هِيَ
hiya
They
لِلَّذِينَ
lil-laẓeena
(are) for those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believe
فِي
fil
during
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ
ḥayaatid
the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
dunyaa
(of) the world
خَالِصَةٗ
khaaliṣatañy
exclusively (for them)
يَوۡمَ
Yawmal
(on the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۗ
Q̣iyaamah.
(of) Resurrection
كَذَٰلِكَ
Kaẓaalika
Thus
نُفَصِّلُ
nufaṣṣilul
We explain
ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ
ʹAayaati
the Signs
لِقَوۡمٖ
liq̣awmiñy
for (the) people
يَعۡلَمُونَ
yaʻlamoon.
who know
٣٢
7:33
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
إِنَّمَا
ʹinnamaa
Only
حَرَّمَ
ḥarrama
(had) forbidden
رَبِّيَ
Rabbiyal
my Lord
ٱلۡفَوَٰحِشَ
fawaaḥisha
the shameful deeds
مَا
maa-
what
ظَهَرَ
z̤̣ahara
(is) apparent
مِنۡهَا
minhaa
of it
وَمَا
wa-maa
and what
بَطَنَ
baṭana
is concealed
وَٱلۡإِثۡمَ
wal-ʹis̤ma
and the sin
وَٱلۡبَغۡيَ
wal-bag̣ya
and the oppression
بِغَيۡرِ
big̣ayril
without
ٱلۡحَقِّ
ḥaq̣q̣i
[the] right
وَأَن
wa-ʹañ
and that
تُشۡرِكُواْ
tushrikoo
you associate (others)
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
with Allah
مَا
maa-
what
لَمۡ
lam
not
يُنَزِّلۡ
yunazzil
He (has) sent down
بِهِۦ
bihee
of it
سُلۡطَٰنٗا
sulṭaanañw
any authority
وَأَن
waʹañ
and that
تَقُولُواْ
taq̣ooloo
you say
عَلَى
ʻalal
about
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
مَا
maa
what
لَا
laa-
not
تَعۡلَمُونَ
taʻlamoon.
you know
٣٣
7:34
وَلِكُلِّ
Wa-likulli
And for every
أُمَّةٍ
ʹummatin
nation
أَجَلٞۖ
ʹajal:
(is a fixed) term
فَإِذَا
faʹiẓaa
So when
جَآءَ
jaaaʹa
comes
أَجَلُهُمۡ
ʹajaluhum
their term
لَا
laa-
(they can) not
يَسۡتَأۡخِرُونَ
yastaʹkhiroona
seek to delay
سَاعَةٗ
saaʻatañw
an hour
وَلَا
walaa
and not
يَسۡتَقۡدِمُونَ
yastaq̣dimoon.
seek to advance (it)
٣٤
7:35
يَٰبَنِيٓ
Yaa-Baneee
O Children
ءَادَمَ
ʹAadama
(of) Adam
إِمَّا
ʹimmaa
If
يَأۡتِيَنَّكُمۡ
yaʹtiyannakum
come to you
رُسُلٞ
rusulum
Messengers
مِّنكُمۡ
miñkum
from you
يَقُصُّونَ
yaq̣uṣṣoona
relating
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
ʻalaykum
to you
ءَايَٰتِي
ʹAayaatee
My Verses
فَمَنِ
famanit
then whoever
ٱتَّقَىٰ
taq̣aa
fears Allah
وَأَصۡلَحَ
wa-ʹaṣlaḥa
and reforms
فَلَا
falaa
then no
خَوۡفٌ
khawfun
fear
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
on them
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
هُمۡ
hum
they
يَحۡزَنُونَ
yaḥzanoon.
will grieve
٣٥
7:36
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
But those who
كَذَّبُواْ
kaẓẓaboo
deny
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
biʹAayaatinaa
Our Verses
وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ
wastakbaroo
and (are) arrogant
عَنۡهَآ
ʻan-haaa
towards them
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹulaaaʹika
those
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ʹAṣḥaabun
(are the) companions
ٱلنَّارِۖ
Naari
(of) the Fire
هُمۡ
hum
they
فِيهَا
feehaa
in it
خَٰلِدُونَ
khaalidoon.
will abide forever
٣٦
7:37
فَمَنۡ
Faman
Then who
أَظۡلَمُ
ʹaz̤̣lamu
(is) more unjust
مِمَّنِ
mimmanif
than (one) who
ٱفۡتَرَىٰ
taraa
invented
عَلَى
ʻalal
against
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
كَذِبًا
kaẓiban
a lie
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
كَذَّبَ
kaẓẓaba
denies
بِـَٔايَٰتِهِۦٓۚ
biʹAayaatih?
His Verses
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹUlaaaʹika
Those
يَنَالُهُمۡ
yanaaluhum
will reach them
نَصِيبُهُم
naṣeebuhum
their portion
مِّنَ
minal
from
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِۖ
Kitaab:
the Book
حَتَّىٰٓ
Ḥattaaa
until
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
when
جَآءَتۡهُمۡ
jaaaʹathum
comes to them
رُسُلُنَا
rusulunaa
Our messengers (Angels)
يَتَوَفَّوۡنَهُمۡ
yatawaffawnahum
(to) take them in death
قَالُوٓاْ
q̣aalooo
they say
أَيۡنَ
ʹayna
Where are
مَا
maa-
those (whom)
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you used to
تَدۡعُونَ
tadʻoona
invoke
مِن
miñ
from
دُونِ
doonil
besides
ٱللَّهِۖ
laah?
Allah
قَالُواْ
Q̣aaloo
They say
ضَلُّواْ
ḍalloo
They strayed
عَنَّا
ʻannaa
from us
وَشَهِدُواْ
wa-shahidoo
and they (will) testify
عَلَىٰٓ
ʻalaaa
against
أَنفُسِهِمۡ
ʹañfusihim
themselves
أَنَّهُمۡ
ʹannahum
that they
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
were
كَٰفِرِينَ
kaafireen.
disbelievers

قَالَ
Q̣aalad
He (will) say
ٱدۡخُلُواْ
khuloo
Enter
فِيٓ
feee
among
أُمَمٖ
ʹu-mamiñ
(the) nations
قَدۡ
q̣ad
(who)
خَلَتۡ
khalat
passed away
مِن
miñ
from
قَبۡلِكُم
q̣ab-likum
before you
مِّنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡجِنِّ
jinni
the jinn
وَٱلۡإِنسِ
wal-ʹiñsi
and the men
فِي
fin
in
ٱلنَّارِۖ
Naar.
the Fire
كُلَّمَا
Kullamaa
Every time
دَخَلَتۡ
dakhalat
entered
أُمَّةٞ
ʹummatul
a nation
لَّعَنَتۡ
laʻanat
it cursed
أُخۡتَهَاۖ
ʹukhtahaa,
its sister (nation)
حَتَّىٰٓ
ḥattaaa
until
إِذَا
ʹiẓad
when
ٱدَّارَكُواْ
daa-rakoo
they had overtaken one another
فِيهَا
feehaa
in it
جَمِيعٗا
jameeʻañ
all
قَالَتۡ
Q̣aalat
(will) say
أُخۡرَىٰهُمۡ
ʹukh-raahum
(the) last of them
لِأُولَىٰهُمۡ
liʹoolaahum
about the first of them
رَبَّنَا
Rabbanaa
Our Lord
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haaaʹulaaaʹi
these
أَضَلُّونَا
ʹaḍal-loonaa
misled us
فَـَٔاتِهِمۡ
faʹaatihim
so give them
عَذَابٗا
ʻaẓaabañ
punishment
ضِعۡفٗا
ḍiʻfam
double
مِّنَ
minan
of
ٱلنَّارِۖ
Naar.
the Fire
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He (will) say
لِكُلّٖ
likulliñ
For each
ضِعۡفٞ
ḍiʻfuñw
(is) a double
وَلَٰكِن
walaakil
[and] but
لَّا
laa
not
تَعۡلَمُونَ
taʻlamoon.
you know
٣٨
7:39
وَقَالَتۡ
Wa-q̣aalat
And (will) say
أُولَىٰهُمۡ
ʹoolaahum
(the) first of them
لِأُخۡرَىٰهُمۡ
liʹukhraahum
to (the) last of them
فَمَا
famaa
Then not
كَانَ
kaana
is
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
عَلَيۡنَا
ʻalaynaa
upon us
مِن
miñ
any
فَضۡلٖ
faḍliñ
superiority
فَذُوقُواْ
faẓooq̣ul
so taste
ٱلۡعَذَابَ
ʻaẓaaba
the punishment
بِمَا
bimaa
for what
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you used to
تَكۡسِبُونَ
taksiboon.
earn
٣٩
7:40
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَذَّبُواْ
kaẓẓaboo
denied
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
biʹAayaatinaa
Our Verses
وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ
wastakbaroo
and (were) arrogant
عَنۡهَا
ʻanhaa
towards them
لَا
laa-
(will) not
تُفَتَّحُ
tufattaḥu
be opened
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
أَبۡوَٰبُ
ʹabwaabus
(the) doors
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
samaaaʹi
(of) the heaven
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
يَدۡخُلُونَ
yad-khuloonal
they will enter
ٱلۡجَنَّةَ
Jannata
Paradise
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
يَلِجَ
yalijal
passes
ٱلۡجَمَلُ
jamalu
the camel
فِي
fee
through
سَمِّ
sammil
(the) eye
ٱلۡخِيَاطِۚ
khiyaaṭ:
(of) the needle
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
wa-kaẓaalika
And thus
نَجۡزِي
najzil
We recompense
ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ
mujrimeen.
the criminals
٤٠
7:41
لَهُم
Lahum
For them
مِّن
miñ
of
جَهَنَّمَ
Jahannama
(the) Hell
مِهَادٞ
mihaaduñw
(is) a bed
وَمِن
wamiñ
and from
فَوۡقِهِمۡ
faw-q̣ihim
over them
غَوَاشٖۚ
g̣awaash:
coverings
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
wakaẓaalika
And thus
نَجۡزِي
najziz̤̣
We recompense
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
z̤̣aalimeen.
the wrongdoers
٤١
7:42
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wal-laẓeena
But those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believe
وَعَمِلُواْ
waʻamiluṣ
and do
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
ṣaaliḥaati
[the] righteous deeds
لَا
laa-
not
نُكَلِّفُ
nukallifu
We burden
نَفۡسًا
nafsan
any soul
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
وُسۡعَهَآ
wusʻahaaa,
(to) its capacity
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹulaaaʹika
Those
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ʹAṣḥaabul
(are the) companions
ٱلۡجَنَّةِۖ
Jannati
(of) Paradise
هُمۡ
hum
they
فِيهَا
feehaa
in it
خَٰلِدُونَ
khaalidoon.
(will) abide forever
٤٢
7:43
وَنَزَعۡنَا
Wanazaʻnaa
And We will remove
مَا
maa-
whatever
فِي
fee
(is) in
صُدُورِهِم
ṣudoorihim
their breasts
مِّنۡ
min
of
غِلّٖ
g̣illiñ
malice
تَجۡرِي
tajree
Flows
مِن
miñ
from
تَحۡتِهِمُ
taḥ-tihimul
underneath them
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُۖ
ʹanhaar;
the rivers
وَقَالُواْ
wa-q̣aalul
And they will say
ٱلۡحَمۡدُ
Ḥamdu
All the praise
لِلَّهِ
lil-laahil
(is) for Allah
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
the One Who
هَدَىٰنَا
hadaanaa
guided us
لِهَٰذَا
lihaaẓaa:
to this
وَمَا
wa-maa
and not
كُنَّا
kunnaa
we were
لِنَهۡتَدِيَ
linahtadiya
to receive guidance
لَوۡلَآ
law-laaa
if not
أَنۡ
ʹan
[that]
هَدَىٰنَا
hadaanal
(had) guided us
ٱللَّهُۖ
laah.
Allah
لَقَدۡ
Laq̣ad
Certainly
جَآءَتۡ
jaaaʹat
came
رُسُلُ
rusulu
Messengers
رَبِّنَا
Rabbinaa
(of) our Lord
بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ
bilḥaq̣q̣.
with the truth
وَنُودُوٓاْ
Wa-noodooo
And they will be addressed
أَن
ʹañ
[that]
تِلۡكُمُ
til-kumul
This
ٱلۡجَنَّةُ
Jannatu
(is) Paradise
أُورِثۡتُمُوهَا
ʹooris̤tumoohaa
you have been made to inherit it
بِمَا
bimaa
for what
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you used to
تَعۡمَلُونَ
taʻmaloon.

وَنَادَىٰٓ
Wa-naadaaa
And will call out
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ʹAṣḥaabul
(the) companions
ٱلۡجَنَّةِ
Jannati
(of) Paradise
أَصۡحَٰبَ
ʹAṣḥaaban
(to the) companions
ٱلنَّارِ
Naari
(of) the Fire
أَن
ʹañ
that
قَدۡ
q̣ad
Indeed
وَجَدۡنَا
wajadnaa
we found
مَا
maa-
what
وَعَدَنَا
waʻadanaa
(had) promised us
رَبُّنَا
Rabbunaa
our Lord
حَقّٗا
ḥaq̣q̣añ
true
فَهَلۡ
fahal
So have
وَجَدتُّم
wajattum
you found
مَّا
maa
what
وَعَدَ
waʻada
(was) promised
رَبُّكُمۡ
Rabbukum
(by) your Lord
حَقّٗاۖ
ḥaq̣q̣aa?
(to be) true
قَالُواْ
Q̣aaloo
They will say
نَعَمۡۚ
naʻam.
Yes
فَأَذَّنَ
Faʹaẓẓana
Then will announce
مُؤَذِّنُۢ
Muʹaẓẓinum
an announcer
بَيۡنَهُمۡ
baynahum
among them
أَن
ʹal
[that]
لَّعۡنَةُ
laʻnatul
(The) curse
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
عَلَى
ʻalaz̤̣
(is) on
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
z̤̣aalimeen;―
the wrongdoers
٤٤
7:45
ٱلَّذِينَ
ʹAllaẓeena
Those who
يَصُدُّونَ
yaṣuddoona
hinder
عَن
ʻañ
from
سَبِيلِ
Sabeelil
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
وَيَبۡغُونَهَا
wa-yabg̣oonahaa
and seek in it
عِوَجٗا
ʻiwajaa:
crookedness
وَهُم
wa-hum̃
while they (are)
بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ
bil-ʹAakhirati
concerning the Hereafter
كَٰفِرُونَ
kaafiroon.
disbelievers
٤٥
7:46
وَبَيۡنَهُمَا
Wa-baynahumaa
And between them
حِجَابٞۚ
ḥijaab.
(will be) a partition
وَعَلَى
Wa-ʻalal
and on
ٱلۡأَعۡرَافِ
ʹAʻRAAFI
the heights
رِجَالٞ
rijaaluñy
(will be) men
يَعۡرِفُونَ
yaʻrifoona
recognizing
كُلَّۢا
kullam
all
بِسِيمَىٰهُمۡۚ
biseemaahum.
by their marks
وَنَادَوۡاْ
Wa-naadaw
And they will call out
أَصۡحَٰبَ
ʹAṣḥaabal
(to the) companions
ٱلۡجَنَّةِ
Jannati
(of) Paradise
أَن
ʹañ
that
سَلَٰمٌ
Salaamun
Peace
عَلَيۡكُمۡۚ
ʻalaykum:

Not
يَدۡخُلُوهَا
yad-khuloohaa
they have entered it
وَهُمۡ
wa-hum
but they
يَطۡمَعُونَ
yaṭmaʻoon.

۞وَإِذَا
Wa-ʹiẓaa
And when
صُرِفَتۡ
ṣurifat
are turned
أَبۡصَٰرُهُمۡ
ʹabṣaaruhum
their eyes
تِلۡقَآءَ
tilq̣aaaʹa
towards
أَصۡحَٰبِ
ʹAṣḥaabin
(the) companions
ٱلنَّارِ
Naari
(of) the Fire
قَالُواْ
q̣aaloo
they (will) say
رَبَّنَا
Rabbanaa
Our Lord
لَا
laa-
(Do) not
تَجۡعَلۡنَا
tajʻalnaa
place us
مَعَ
maʻal
with
ٱلۡقَوۡمِ
q̣awmiz̤̣
the people
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
z̤̣aalimeen.
the wrongdoers
٤٧
7:48
وَنَادَىٰٓ
Wa-naadaaa
And (will) call out
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ʹAṣḥaabul
(the) companions
ٱلۡأَعۡرَافِ
ʹAʻRAAFI
(of) the heights
رِجَالٗا
rijaalañy
(to) men
يَعۡرِفُونَهُم
yaʻrifoonahum̃
whom they recognize
بِسِيمَىٰهُمۡ
biseemaahum
by their marks
قَالُواْ
q̣aaloo
saying
مَآ
maaa
Not
أَغۡنَىٰ
ʹag̣naa
(has) availed
عَنكُمۡ
ʻañkum
[to] you
جَمۡعُكُمۡ
jamʻukum
your gathering
وَمَا
wa-maa
and what
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you were
تَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ
tastakbiroon?
arrogant (about)
٤٨
7:49
أَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
ʹA-haaaʹulaaaʹil
Are these
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
the ones whom
أَقۡسَمۡتُمۡ
ʹaq̣samtum
you had sworn
لَا
laa-
(that) not
يَنَالُهُمُ
yanaaluhumul
(will) grant them
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
بِرَحۡمَةٍۚ
biraḥmah?
Mercy
ٱدۡخُلُواْ
ʹUdkhulul
Enter
ٱلۡجَنَّةَ
Jannata
Paradise
لَا
laa-
(There will be) no
خَوۡفٌ
khawfun
fear
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
ʻalaykum
upon you
وَلَآ
wa-laaa
and not
أَنتُمۡ
ʹañtum
you
تَحۡزَنُونَ
taḥ-zanoon.
will grieve
٤٩
7:50
وَنَادَىٰٓ
Wa-naadaaa
And (will) call out
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ʹAṣḥaabun
(the) companions
ٱلنَّارِ
Naari
(of) the Fire
أَصۡحَٰبَ
ʹAṣḥaabal
(to the) companions
ٱلۡجَنَّةِ
Jannati
(of) Paradise
أَنۡ
ʹan
[that]
أَفِيضُواْ
ʹafeeḍoo
Pour
عَلَيۡنَا
ʻalaynaa
upon us
مِنَ
minal
[of]
ٱلۡمَآءِ
maaaʹi
(some) water
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
مِمَّا
mimmaa
of what
رَزَقَكُمُ
razaq̣akumul
(has been) provided (to) you
ٱللَّهُۚ
laah.
(by) Allah
قَالُوٓاْ
Q̣aalooo
They (will) say
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
حَرَّمَهُمَا
ḥarramahumaa
has forbidden both
عَلَى
ʻalal
to
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
kaafireen.
the disbelievers
