and my brother
وَأَدۡخِلۡنَا
wa-ʹadkhilnaa
and admit us
فِي
fee
into
رَحۡمَتِكَۖ
Raḥmatika
Your Mercy
وَأَنتَ
wa-ʹAñta
for You
أَرۡحَمُ
ʹArḥamur
(are) the Most Merciful
ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ
raaḥimeen!
(of) the merciful
١٥١
7:152
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeenat
those who
ٱتَّخَذُواْ
takhaẓul
took
ٱلۡعِجۡلَ
ʻijlasa
the calf
سَيَنَالُهُمۡ
yanaaluhum
will reach them
غَضَبٞ
g̣aḍabum
wrath
مِّن
mir
from
رَّبِّهِمۡ
Rabbihim
their Lord
وَذِلَّةٞ
waẓillatuñ
and humiliation
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ
ḥayaatid
the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَاۚ
dunyaa:
(of) the world
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
wa-kaẓaalika
And thus
نَجۡزِي
najzil
We recompense
ٱلۡمُفۡتَرِينَ
muftareen.
the ones who invent (falsehood)
١٥٢
7:153
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
And those who
عَمِلُواْ
ʻamilus
do
ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ
sayyiʹaati
the evil deeds
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
تَابُواْ
taaboo
repented
مِنۢ
mim
from
بَعۡدِهَا
baʻdihaa
after that
وَءَامَنُوٓاْ
wa-ʹaamanooo
and believed
إِنَّ
ʹinna
indeed
رَبَّكَ
Rabbaka
your Lord
مِنۢ
mim
from
بَعۡدِهَا
baʻdihaa
after that
لَغَفُورٞ
la-G̣afoorur
(is) surely Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٞ
Raḥeem.
Most Merciful
١٥٣
7:154
وَلَمَّا
Wa-lammaa
And when
سَكَتَ
sakata
was calmed
عَن
ʻam
from
مُّوسَى
Moosal
Musa
ٱلۡغَضَبُ
g̣aḍabu
the anger
أَخَذَ
ʹakhaẓal
he took (up)
ٱلۡأَلۡوَاحَۖ
ʹAlwaaḥa
the tablets
وَفِي
wa-fee
and in
نُسۡخَتِهَا
nuskhatihaa
their inscription
هُدٗى
Hudañw
(was) guidance
وَرَحۡمَةٞ
Wa-Raḥmatul
and mercy
لِّلَّذِينَ
lil-laẓeena
for those who
هُمۡ
hum
[they]
لِرَبِّهِمۡ
li-Rabbihim
of their Lord
يَرۡهَبُونَ
yarhaboon.
(are) fearful
١٥٤
7:155
وَٱخۡتَارَ
Wakhtaara
And chose
مُوسَىٰ
Moosaa
Musa
قَوۡمَهُۥ
q̣awmahoo
(from) his people
سَبۡعِينَ
sabʻeena
seventy
رَجُلٗا
rajulal
men
لِّمِيقَٰتِنَاۖ
li-Meeq̣aatinaa:
for Our appointment
فَلَمَّآ
falammaaa
Then when
أَخَذَتۡهُمُ
ʹakhaẓathumur
seized them
ٱلرَّجۡفَةُ
rajfatu
the earthquake
قَالَ
q̣aala
he said
رَبِّ
Rabbi
O my Lord
لَوۡ
law
If
شِئۡتَ
shiʹta
you (had) willed
أَهۡلَكۡتَهُم
ʹahlaktahum
You (could) have destroyed them
مِّن
miñ
from
قَبۡلُ
q̣ablu
before
وَإِيَّٰيَۖ
wa-ʹiyyaay.
and me
أَتُهۡلِكُنَا
ʹA-tuhlikunaa
Would You destroy us
بِمَا
bimaa
for what
فَعَلَ
faʻalas
did
ٱلسُّفَهَآءُ
sufahaaaʹu
the foolish
مِنَّآۖ
minnaa?
among us
إِنۡ
ʹIn
Not
هِيَ
hiya
it (was)
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
but
فِتۡنَتُكَ
fitnatuk.
Your trial
تُضِلُّ
Tuḍillu
You let go astray
بِهَا
bihaa
by it
مَن
mañ
whom
تَشَآءُ
tashaaaʹu
You will
وَتَهۡدِي
wa-tahdee
and You guide
مَن
mañ
whom
تَشَآءُۖ
tashaaaʹ.
You will
أَنتَ
ʹAñta
You
وَلِيُّنَا
Waliyyunaa
(are) our Protector
فَٱغۡفِرۡ
fag̣fir
so forgive
لَنَا
lanaa
us
وَٱرۡحَمۡنَاۖ
warḥamnaa
and have mercy upon us
وَأَنتَ
wa-ʹAñta
and You
خَيۡرُ
Khayrul
(are) Best
ٱلۡغَٰفِرِينَ
g̣aafireen.
(of) Forgivers

7:156
۞وَٱكۡتُبۡ
Waktub
And ordain
لَنَا
lanaa
for us
فِي
fee
in
هَٰذِهِ
haaẓihid
this
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
dunyaa
[the] world
حَسَنَةٗ
ḥasanatañw
good
وَفِي
wafil
and in
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ
ʹAakhirati
the Hereafter
إِنَّا
ʹinnaa
Indeed we
هُدۡنَآ
hudnaaa
we have turned
إِلَيۡكَۚ
ʹilayk.
to You
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
عَذَابِيٓ
ʻaẓaabeee
My punishment
أُصِيبُ
ʹuṣeebu
I afflict
بِهِۦ
bihee
with it
مَنۡ
man
whom
أَشَآءُۖ
ʹashaaaʹ.
I will
وَرَحۡمَتِي
Wa-Raḥmatee
but My Mercy
وَسِعَتۡ
wasiʻat
encompasses
كُلَّ
kulla
every
شَيۡءٖۚ
shayʹ.
thing
فَسَأَكۡتُبُهَا
Fasaʹaktubuhaa
So I will ordain it
لِلَّذِينَ
lil-laẓeena
for those who
يَتَّقُونَ
yattaq̣oona
(are) righteous
وَيُؤۡتُونَ
wa-yuʹtoonaz
and give
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ
Zakaata
zakah
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wal-laẓeena
and those who
هُم
hum̃
[they]
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
biʹAayaatinaa
in Our Verses
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yuʹminoon;―
they believe
١٥٦
7:157
ٱلَّذِينَ
ʹAllaẓeena
Those who
يَتَّبِعُونَ
yattabiʻoonar
follow
ٱلرَّسُولَ
Rasoolan
the Messenger
ٱلنَّبِيَّ
Nabiyyal
the Prophet
ٱلۡأُمِّيَّ
ʹUmmiyyal
the unlettered
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
whom
يَجِدُونَهُۥ
yajidoonahoo
they find him
مَكۡتُوبًا
maktooban
written
عِندَهُمۡ
ʻiñdahum
with them
فِي
fit
in
ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِ
Tawraati
the Taurat
وَٱلۡإِنجِيلِ
wal-ʹIñjeel.
and the Injeel
يَأۡمُرُهُم
Yaʹmuruhum̃
He commands them
بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ
bilmaʻroofi
to the right
وَيَنۡهَىٰهُمۡ
wa-yanhaahum
and forbids them
عَنِ
ʻanil
from
ٱلۡمُنكَرِ
muñkari
the wrong
وَيُحِلُّ
wa-yuḥillu
and he makes lawful
لَهُمُ
lahumuṭ
for them
ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ
ṭayyibaati
the pure things
وَيُحَرِّمُ
wa-yuḥarrimu
and makes unlawful
عَلَيۡهِمُ
ʻalayhimul
for them
ٱلۡخَبَٰٓئِثَ
khabaaaʹis̤a
the impure things
وَيَضَعُ
wa-yaḍaʻu
and he relieves
عَنۡهُمۡ
ʻanhum
from them
إِصۡرَهُمۡ
ʹiṣrahum
their burden
وَٱلۡأَغۡلَٰلَ
wal-ʹag̣laalal
and the fetters
ٱلَّتِي
latee
which
كَانَتۡ
kanat
were
عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ
ʻalayhim.
upon them
فَٱلَّذِينَ
Fallaẓeena
So those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believe
بِهِۦ
bihee
in him
وَعَزَّرُوهُ
wa-ʻazzaroohu
and honor him
وَنَصَرُوهُ
wa-naṣaroohu
and help him
وَٱتَّبَعُواْ
wattabaʻun
and follow
ٱلنُّورَ
Nooral
the light
ٱلَّذِيٓ
laẓeee
which
أُنزِلَ
ʹuñzila
has been sent down
مَعَهُۥٓ
maʻahooo
with him
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹulaaaʹika
Those (are)
هُمُ
humul
[they]
ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ
Mufliḥoon.
the successful ones
١٥٧
7:158
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaaaʹayyuhan
O
ٱلنَّاسُ
naasu
mankind
إِنِّي
ʹinnee
Indeed I am
رَسُولُ
Rasoolul
(the) Messenger
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
إِلَيۡكُمۡ
ʹilaykum
to you
جَمِيعًا
jameeʻanil
all
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
the One
لَهُۥ
lahoo
for Whom
مُلۡكُ
mulkus
(is the) dominion
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ
wal-ʹarḍ.
and the earth
لَآ
Laaa
(There is) no
إِلَٰهَ
ʹillaa
god
إِلَّا
ʹilaaha
except
هُوَ
Huwa
Him
يُحۡيِۦ
yuḥyee
He gives life
وَيُمِيتُۖ
wa-yumeet.
and causes death
فَـَٔامِنُواْ
Faʹaaminoo
So believe
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
in Allah
وَرَسُولِهِ
wa-Rasoolihin
and His Messenger
ٱلنَّبِيِّ
Nabiyyil
the Prophet
ٱلۡأُمِّيِّ
ʹUmmiyyil
the unlettered
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
the one who
يُؤۡمِنُ
yuʹminu
believes
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
in Allah
وَكَلِمَٰتِهِۦ
wa-Kalimaatihee
and His Words
وَٱتَّبِعُوهُ
wattabiʻoohu
and follow him
لَعَلَّكُمۡ
laʻallakum
so that you may
تَهۡتَدُونَ
tahtadoon.
(be) guided
١٥٨
7:159
وَمِن
Wa-miñ
And among
قَوۡمِ
q̣awmi
(the) people
مُوسَىٰٓ
Moosaaa
(of) Musa
أُمَّةٞ
ʹummatuñy
(is) a community
يَهۡدُونَ
yahdoona
(which) guides
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
bilḥaq̣q̣i
with truth
وَبِهِۦ
wa-bihee
and by it
يَعۡدِلُونَ
yaʻdiloon.
establishes justice
١٥٩

7:160
وَقَطَّعۡنَٰهُمُ
Wa-q̣aṭṭaʻnaahumus̤
And We divided them
ٱثۡنَتَيۡ
natay
(into) two
عَشۡرَةَ
ʹasbaaṭan
(and) ten [ie twelve]
أَسۡبَاطًا
ʻashrata
tribes
أُمَمٗاۚ
ʹumamaa.
(as) communities
وَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ
Wa-ʹawḥaynaaa
And We inspired
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
مُوسَىٰٓ
Moosaaa
Musa
إِذِ
ʹiẓis
when
ٱسۡتَسۡقَىٰهُ
tasq̣aahu
asked him for water
قَوۡمُهُۥٓ
q̣awmuhooo
his people
أَنِ
ʹaniḍ
[that]
ٱضۡرِب
rib
Strike
بِّعَصَاكَ
biʻaṣaakal
with your staff
ٱلۡحَجَرَۖ
ḥajar.
the stone
فَٱنۢبَجَسَتۡ
Fambajasat
Then gushed forth
مِنۡهُ
minhus̤
from it
ٱثۡنَتَا
nataa
two
عَشۡرَةَ
ʻashrata
(and) ten [ie twelve]
عَيۡنٗاۖ
ʻaynaa
springs
قَدۡ
q̣ad
Certainly
عَلِمَ
ʻalima
knew
كُلُّ
kullu
each
أُنَاسٖ
ʹunaasim
people
مَّشۡرَبَهُمۡۚ
mashrabahum.
their drinking place
وَظَلَّلۡنَا
Waz̤̣allalnaa
And We shaded
عَلَيۡهِمُ
ʻalayhimul
[on] them
ٱلۡغَمَٰمَ
g̣amaama
(with) the clouds
وَأَنزَلۡنَا
wa-ʹañzalnaa
and We sent down
عَلَيۡهِمُ
ʻalayhimul
upon them
ٱلۡمَنَّ
Manna
the manna
وَٱلسَّلۡوَىٰۖ
was-Salwaa:
and the quails
كُلُواْ
kuloo
Eat
مِن
miñ
from
طَيِّبَٰتِ
ṭayyibaati
(the) good things
مَا
maa-
which
رَزَقۡنَٰكُمۡۚ
razaq̣naakum.
We have provided you
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
ظَلَمُونَا
z̤̣alamoonaa
they wronged Us
وَلَٰكِن
wa-laakiñ
but
كَانُوٓاْ
kaanooo
they were
أَنفُسَهُمۡ
ʹañfusahum
(to) themselves
يَظۡلِمُونَ
yaz̤̣limoon.
doing wrong
١٦٠
7:161
وَإِذۡ
Wa-ʹiẓ
And when
قِيلَ
q̣eela
it was said
لَهُمُ
lahumus
to them
ٱسۡكُنُواْ
kunoo
Live
هَٰذِهِ
haaẓihil
(in) this
ٱلۡقَرۡيَةَ
q̣aryata
city
وَكُلُواْ
wa-kuloo
and eat
مِنۡهَا
minhaa
from it
حَيۡثُ
ḥays̤u
wherever
شِئۡتُمۡ
shiʹtum
you wish
وَقُولُواْ
wa-q̣ooloo
and say
حِطَّةٞ
Ḥiṭṭatuñw
Repentance
وَٱدۡخُلُواْ
wadkhulul
and enter
ٱلۡبَابَ
baaba
the gate
سُجَّدٗا
sujjadan
prostrating
نَّغۡفِرۡ
nag̣fir
We will forgive
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
خَطِيٓـَٰٔتِكُمۡۚ
khaṭeeeʹaatikum:
your sins
سَنَزِيدُ
sanazeedul
We will increase (reward)
ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
Muḥsineen.
(of) the good-doers
١٦١
7:162
فَبَدَّلَ
Fabaddalal
But changed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
ظَلَمُواْ
z̤̣alamoo
wronged
مِنۡهُمۡ
minhum
among them
قَوۡلًا
q̣awlan
word
غَيۡرَ
g̣ayral
other than
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
(that) which
قِيلَ
q̣eela
was said
لَهُمۡ
lahum
to them
فَأَرۡسَلۡنَا
faʹarsalnaa
So We sent
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
upon them
رِجۡزٗا
rijzam
torment
مِّنَ
minas
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
samaaaʹi
the sky
بِمَا
bimaa
because
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they were
يَظۡلِمُونَ
yaz̤̣limoon.
doing wrong
١٦٢
7:163
وَسۡـَٔلۡهُمۡ
Wasʹalhum
And ask them
عَنِ
ʻanil
about
ٱلۡقَرۡيَةِ
q̣aryatil
the town
ٱلَّتِي
latee
which
كَانَتۡ
kaanat
was
حَاضِرَةَ
ḥaaḍiratal
situated
ٱلۡبَحۡرِ
baḥr.
(by) the sea
إِذۡ
ʹIẓ
when
يَعۡدُونَ
yaʻdoona
they transgressed
فِي
fis
in
ٱلسَّبۡتِ
Sabti
the (matter of) Sabbath
إِذۡ
ʹiẓ
when
تَأۡتِيهِمۡ
taʹteehim
came to them
حِيتَانُهُمۡ
ḥeetaanuhum
their fish
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(on the) day
سَبۡتِهِمۡ
Sabtihim
(of) their Sabbath
شُرَّعٗا
shurraʻañw
visibly
وَيَوۡمَ
wayawma
and (on the) day
لَا
laa-
not
يَسۡبِتُونَ
yasbitoona
they had Sabbath
لَا
laa-
(they did) not
تَأۡتِيهِمۡۚ
taʹteehim.
come to them
كَذَٰلِكَ
Kaẓaalika
Thus
نَبۡلُوهُم
nabloohum̃
We test them
بِمَا
bimaa
because
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they were
يَفۡسُقُونَ
yafsuq̣oon.
defiantly disobeying
١٦٣

وَإِذۡ
wa-ʹiẓ
And when
قَالَتۡ
q̣aalat
said
أُمَّةٞ
ʹummatum
a community
مِّنۡهُمۡ
minhum
among them
لِمَ
lima
Why
تَعِظُونَ
taʻiz̤̣oona
(do) you preach
قَوۡمًا
q̣aw-manil
a people
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
(whom) Allah
مُهۡلِكُهُمۡ
muhlikuhum
(is going to) destroy them
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
مُعَذِّبُهُمۡ
muʻaẓẓibuhum
punish them
عَذَابٗا
ʻazaabañ
(with) a punishment
شَدِيدٗاۖ
shadeedaa?
severe
قَالُواْ
Q̣aaloo
They said
مَعۡذِرَةً
maʻẓiratan
To be absolved
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
before
رَبِّكُمۡ
Rabbikum
your Lord
وَلَعَلَّهُمۡ
wa-laʻallahum
and that they may
يَتَّقُونَ
yattaq̣oon.
become righteous
١٦٤
7:165
فَلَمَّا
Falammaa
So when
نَسُواْ
nasoo
they forgot
مَا
maa-
what
ذُكِّرُواْ
ẓukkiroo
they had been reminded
بِهِۦٓ
biheee
with [it]
أَنجَيۡنَا
ʹañjaynal
We saved
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
يَنۡهَوۡنَ
yanhawna
forbade
عَنِ
ʻanis
[from]
ٱلسُّوٓءِ
soooʹi
the evil
وَأَخَذۡنَا
wa-ʹakhaẓnal
and We seized
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
ظَلَمُواْ
z̤̣alamoo
wronged
بِعَذَابِۭ
biʻaẓaabim
with a punishment
بَـِٔيسِۭ
baʹeesim
wretched
بِمَا
bimaa
because
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they were
يَفۡسُقُونَ
yafsuq̣oon.
defiantly disobeying
١٦٥
7:166
فَلَمَّا
Falammaa
So when
عَتَوۡاْ
ʻataw
they exceeded all bounds
عَن
ʻam
about
مَّا
maa
what
نُهُواْ
nuhoo
they were forbidden
عَنۡهُ
ʻanhu
from it
قُلۡنَا
q̣ulnaa
We said
لَهُمۡ
lahum
to them
كُونُواْ
koonoo
Be
قِرَدَةً
q̣iradatan
apes
خَٰسِـِٔينَ
khaasiʹeen.
despised
١٦٦
7:167
وَإِذۡ
Wa-ʹiẓ
And when
تَأَذَّنَ
taʹaẓẓana
declared
رَبُّكَ
Rabbuka
your Lord
لَيَبۡعَثَنَّ
layabʻas̤anna
that He would surely send
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
upon them
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
till
يَوۡمِ
yawmil
(the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
Q̣iyaamati
(of) the Resurrection
مَن
mañy
(those) who
يَسُومُهُمۡ
yasoomuhum
would afflict them
سُوٓءَ
soooʹal
(with) a grievous
ٱلۡعَذَابِۗ
ʻaẓaab.
[the] punishment
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
رَبَّكَ
rabbaka
your Lord
لَسَرِيعُ
la-Sareeʻul
(is) surely swift
ٱلۡعِقَابِ
ʻiq̣aabi
(in) the retribution
وَإِنَّهُۥ
wa-ʹinnahoo
but indeed He
لَغَفُورٞ
la-G̣afoorur
(is) surely Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٞ
Raḥeem.
Most Merciful
١٦٧
7:168
وَقَطَّعۡنَٰهُمۡ
Wa-q̣aṭṭaʻnaahum
And We divided them
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
أُمَمٗاۖ
ʹumamaa.
(as) nations
مِّنۡهُمُ
Min-humuṣ
Among them
ٱلصَّٰلِحُونَ
ṣaaliḥoona
(are) the righteous
وَمِنۡهُمۡ
wa-minhum
and among them
دُونَ
doona
(are) other than
ذَٰلِكَۖ
ẓaalik.
that
وَبَلَوۡنَٰهُم
Wa-balawnaahum̃
And We tested them
بِٱلۡحَسَنَٰتِ
bil-ḥasanaati
with the good
وَٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ
was-sayyiʹaati
and the bad
لَعَلَّهُمۡ
laʻallahum
so that they may
يَرۡجِعُونَ
yarjiʻoon.

١٦٨
7:169
فَخَلَفَ
Fakhalafa
Then succeeded
مِنۢ
mim
from
بَعۡدِهِمۡ
baʻdihim
after them
خَلۡفٞ
khalfuñw
successors
وَرِثُواْ
waris̤ul
(who) inherited
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
Kitaaba
the Book
يَأۡخُذُونَ
yaʹkhuẓoona
taking
عَرَضَ
ʻaraḍa
goods
هَٰذَا
haaẓal
(of) this
ٱلۡأَدۡنَىٰ
ʹadnaa
the lower (life)
وَيَقُولُونَ
wa-yaq̣ooloona
and they say
سَيُغۡفَرُ
sayug̣faru
It will be forgiven
لَنَا
lanaa.
for us
وَإِن
Wa-ʹiñy
And if
يَأۡتِهِمۡ
yaʹtihim
comes to them
عَرَضٞ
ʻaraḍum
goods
مِّثۡلُهُۥ
mis̤luhoo
similar to it
يَأۡخُذُوهُۚ
yaʹkhuẓooh.
they will take it
أَلَمۡ
ʹAlam
Was not
يُؤۡخَذۡ
Yuʹkhaẓ
taken
عَلَيۡهِم
ʻalayhim
on them
مِّيثَٰقُ
Mees̤aaq̣ul
Covenant
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
Kitaabi
(of) the Book
أَن
ʹal
that
لَّا
laa
not
يَقُولُواْ
yaq̣ooloo
they will say
عَلَى
ʻalal
about
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah

ʹillal
except
ٱلۡحَقَّ
ḥaq̣q̣a
the truth
وَدَرَسُواْ
wadarasoo
while they studied
مَا
maa-
what
فِيهِۗ
feeh?
(is) in it
وَٱلدَّارُ
Wad-Daarul
And the home
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةُ
ʹAakhiratu
(of) the Hereafter
خَيۡرٞ
khayrul
(is) better
لِّلَّذِينَ
lil-laẓeena
for those who
يَتَّقُونَۚ
yattaq̣oon.
fear Allah
أَفَلَا
ʹAfalaa
So will not
تَعۡقِلُونَ
taʻq̣iloon?
you use intellect
١٦٩
7:170
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
And those who
يُمَسِّكُونَ
yumassikoona
hold fast
بِٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
bil-Kitaabi
to the Book
وَأَقَامُواْ
wa-ʹaq̣aamuṣ
and establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
Ṣalaata
the prayer
إِنَّا
ʹinnaa
indeed We
لَا
laa-
(will) not
نُضِيعُ
nuḍeeʻu
[We] let go waste
أَجۡرَ
ʹajral
(the) reward
ٱلۡمُصۡلِحِينَ
Muṣliḥeen.
(of) the reformers

۞وَإِذۡ
Wa-ʹiẓ
And when
نَتَقۡنَا
nataq̣nal
We raised
ٱلۡجَبَلَ
Jabala
the mountain
فَوۡقَهُمۡ
fawq̣ahum
above them
كَأَنَّهُۥ
kaʹannahoo
as if it was
ظُلَّةٞ
z̤̣ullatuñw
a canopy
وَظَنُّوٓاْ
waz̤̣annooo
and they thought
أَنَّهُۥ
ʹannahoo
that it
وَاقِعُۢ
waaq̣iʻum
(would) fall
بِهِمۡ
bihim:
upon them
خُذُواْ
khuẓoo
(We said) Take
مَآ
maaa
what
ءَاتَيۡنَٰكُم
ʹaataynaakum̃
We have given you
بِقُوَّةٖ
biq̣uwwatiñw
with strength
وَٱذۡكُرُواْ
waẓkuroo
and remember
مَا
maa-
what
فِيهِ
feehi
(is) in it
لَعَلَّكُمۡ
laʻallakum
so that you may
تَتَّقُونَ
tattaq̣oon.
fear Allah
١٧١
7:172
وَإِذۡ
Wa-ʹiẓ
And when
أَخَذَ
akhaẓa
(was) taken
رَبُّكَ
Rabbuka
(by) your Lord
مِنۢ
mim
from
بَنِيٓ
Baneee
(the) Children
ءَادَمَ
ʹaadama
(of) Adam
مِن
miñ
from
ظُهُورِهِمۡ
z̤̣uhoorihim
their loins
ذُرِّيَّتَهُمۡ
ẓurriyyatahum
their descendants
وَأَشۡهَدَهُمۡ
wa-ʹashhadahum
and made them testify
عَلَىٰٓ
ʻalaaa
over
أَنفُسِهِمۡ
ʹañfusihim:
themselves
أَلَسۡتُ
ʹAlastu
Am I not
بِرَبِّكُمۡۖ
bi-Rabbikum?
your Lord
قَالُواْ
Q̣aaloo
They said
بَلَىٰ
Balaa
Yes
شَهِدۡنَآۚ
shahidnaa!
we have testified
أَن
ʹAñ
Lest
تَقُولُواْ
taq̣ooloo
you say
يَوۡمَ
Yawmal
(on the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
Q̣iyaamati
(of) the Resurrection
إِنَّا
ʹinnaa
Indeed
كُنَّا
kunnaa
we were
عَنۡ
ʻan
about
هَٰذَا
haaẓaa
this
غَٰفِلِينَ
g̣aafileen:
unaware
١٧٢
7:173
أَوۡ
ʹAw
Or
تَقُولُوٓاْ
taq̣oolooo
you say
إِنَّمَآ
ʹinnamaaa
Only
أَشۡرَكَ
ʹashraka
partners (were) associated (with Allah)
ءَابَآؤُنَا
ʹaabaaaʹunaa
(by) our forefathers
مِن
miñ
from
قَبۡلُ
q̣ablu
before (us)
وَكُنَّا
wa-kunnaa
and we are
ذُرِّيَّةٗ
ẓurriyyatam
descendants
مِّنۢ
mim
from
بَعۡدِهِمۡۖ
baʻdihim:
after them
أَفَتُهۡلِكُنَا
ʹa-fa-tuhlikunaa
So will You destroy us
بِمَا
bimaa
for what
فَعَلَ
faʻalal
did
ٱلۡمُبۡطِلُونَ
mubṭiloon.
the falsifiers
١٧٣
7:174
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
Wa-kaẓaalika
And thus
نُفَصِّلُ
nufaṣṣilul
We explain
ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ
ʹAayaati
the Verses
وَلَعَلَّهُمۡ
wa-laʻallahum
so that they may
يَرۡجِعُونَ
yarjiʻoon.
return
١٧٤
7:175
وَٱتۡلُ
Watlu
And recite
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
to them
نَبَأَ
naba
(the) story
ٱلَّذِيٓ
ʹallaẓeee
(of the) one whom
ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ
ʹaataynaahu
We gave [him]
ءَايَٰتِنَا
ʹaayaatinaa
Our Verses
فَٱنسَلَخَ
fañsalakha
but he detached
مِنۡهَا
minhaa
[from] them
فَأَتۡبَعَهُ
faʹatbaʻahush
so followed him
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ
Shayṭaanu
the Shaitaan
فَكَانَ
fakaana
and he became
مِنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡغَاوِينَ
g̣aaween.
those gone astray
١٧٥
7:176
وَلَوۡ
Wa-law
And if
شِئۡنَا
shiʹnaa
We willed
لَرَفَعۡنَٰهُ
larafaʻnaahu
surely We (could) have raised him
بِهَا
bihaa
with these
وَلَٰكِنَّهُۥٓ
walaakinnahooo
[and] but he
أَخۡلَدَ
ʹakhlada
adhered
إِلَى
ʹilal
to
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
وَٱتَّبَعَ
wattabaʻa
and followed
هَوَىٰهُۚ
hawaah.
his (vain) desires
فَمَثَلُهُۥ
Famas̤aluhoo
So his example
كَمَثَلِ
kamas̤alil
(is) like (the) example
ٱلۡكَلۡبِ
kalb:
(of) the dog
إِن
ʹiñ
if
تَحۡمِلۡ
taḥmil
you attack
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
[on] him
يَلۡهَثۡ
yalhas̤
he lolls out his tongue
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
تَتۡرُكۡهُ
tatrukhu
if you leave him
يَلۡهَثۚ
yalhas̤.
he lolls out his tongue
ذَّٰلِكَ
Ẓaalika
That
مَثَلُ
mas̤alul
(is the) example
ٱلۡقَوۡمِ
q̣awmil
(of) the people
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
who
كَذَّبُواْ
kaẓẓaboo
denied
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَاۚ
biʹAayaatinaa.
[in] Our Signs
فَٱقۡصُصِ
Faq̣ṣuṣil
So relate
ٱلۡقَصَصَ
q̣aṣaṣa
the story
لَعَلَّهُمۡ
laʻallahum
so that they may
يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
yatafakkaroon.
reflect

7:177
سَآءَ
Saaaʹa
Evil
مَثَلًا
mas̤alanil
(as) an example
ٱلۡقَوۡمُ
q̣awmul
(are) the people
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَذَّبُواْ
kaẓẓaboo
denied
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
biʹAayaatinaa
Our Signs
وَأَنفُسَهُمۡ
wa-ʹañfusahum
and themselves
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they used to
يَظۡلِمُونَ
yaz̤̣limoon.
wrong
١٧٧
7:178
مَن
Mañy
Whoever
يَهۡدِ
yahdil
(is) guided
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
(by) Allah
فَهُوَ
fahuwal
then he
ٱلۡمُهۡتَدِيۖ
muhtadee:
(is) the guided one
وَمَن
wa-mañy
while whoever
يُضۡلِلۡ
yuḍlil
He lets go astray
فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
faʹulaaaʹika
then those
هُمُ
humul
[they]
ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ
khaasiroon.
(are) the losers

وَلَقَدۡ
Wa-laq̣ad
And certainly
ذَرَأۡنَا
ẓaraʹnaa
We have created
لِجَهَنَّمَ
lijahannama
for Hell
كَثِيرٗا
kas̤eeram
many
مِّنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡجِنِّ
jinni
the jinn
وَٱلۡإِنسِۖ
wal-ʹiñs:
and men
لَهُمۡ
lahum
For them
قُلُوبٞ
q̣uloobul
(are) hearts
لَّا
laa
(but) not
يَفۡقَهُونَ
yafq̣ahoona
they understand
بِهَا
bihaa,
with them
وَلَهُمۡ
wa-lahum
and for them
أَعۡيُنٞ
ʹaʻyunul
(are) eyes
لَّا
laa
(but) not
يُبۡصِرُونَ
yubṣiroona
they see
بِهَا
bihaa,
with them
وَلَهُمۡ
wa-lahum
and for them
ءَاذَانٞ
ʹaaẓaanul
(are) ears
لَّا
laa
(but) not
يَسۡمَعُونَ
yasmaʻoona
they hear
بِهَآۚ
bihaa.
with them
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹUlaaaʹika
Those
كَٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ
kal-ʹanʻaami
(are) like cattle
بَلۡ
bal
nay
هُمۡ
hum
they
أَضَلُّۚ
ʹaḍall:
(are) more astray
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹulaaaʹika
Those
هُمُ
humul
they
ٱلۡغَٰفِلُونَ
g̣aafiloon.
(are) the heedless
١٧٩
7:180
وَلِلَّهِ
Wa-lillaahil
And for Allah
ٱلۡأَسۡمَآءُ
ʹAsmaaaʹul
(are) the names
ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ
Ḥusnaa
the most beautiful
فَٱدۡعُوهُ
fadʻoohu
so invoke Him
بِهَاۖ
bihaa.
by them
وَذَرُواْ
Waẓarul
And leave
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
يُلۡحِدُونَ
yulḥidoona
deviate
فِيٓ
feee
concerning
أَسۡمَٰٓئِهِۦۚ
ʹAsmaaaʹih:
His names
سَيُجۡزَوۡنَ
sayujzawna
They will be recompensed
مَا
maa-
for what
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they used to
يَعۡمَلُونَ
yaʻmaloon.
do
١٨٠
7:181
وَمِمَّنۡ
Wa-mimman
And of (those) whom
خَلَقۡنَآ
khalaq̣naaa
We have created
أُمَّةٞ
ʹummatuñy
(is) a nation
يَهۡدُونَ
yahdoona
who guides
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
bilḥaq̣q̣i
with the truth
وَبِهِۦ
wa-bihee
and thereby
يَعۡدِلُونَ
yaʻdiloon.
they establish justice
١٨١
7:182
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
But those who
كَذَّبُواْ
kaẓẓaboo
denied
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
biʹAayaatinaa
Our Signs
سَنَسۡتَدۡرِجُهُم
sanastadrijuhum
We will gradually lead them
مِّنۡ
min
from
حَيۡثُ
ḥays̤u
where
لَا
laa-
not
يَعۡلَمُونَ
yaʻlamoon.
they know
١٨٢
7:183
وَأُمۡلِي
Wa-ʹumlee
And I will give respite
لَهُمۡۚ
lahum:
to them
إِنَّ
ʹinna
Indeed
كَيۡدِي
kaydee
My plan
مَتِينٌ
mateen.
(is) firm
١٨٣
7:184
أَوَلَمۡ
ʹAwalam
Do not
يَتَفَكَّرُواْۗ
yatafakkaroo,
they reflect
مَا
Maa-
Not
بِصَاحِبِهِم
bi-Ṣaaḥibihim
in their companion
مِّن
miñ
[of]
جِنَّةٍۚ
jinnah;
(is) any madness
إِنۡ
ʹin
Not
هُوَ
huwa
he
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
(is) but
نَذِيرٞ
naẓeerum
a warner
مُّبِينٌ
mubeen.

7:185
أَوَلَمۡ
ʹAwalam
Do not
يَنظُرُواْ
yañz̤̣uroo
they look
فِي
fee
in
مَلَكُوتِ
Malakootis
(the) dominion
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
wal-ʹarḍi
and the earth
وَمَا
wa-maa
and what
خَلَقَ
khalaq̣al
has (been) created
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
(by) Allah
مِن
miñ
of
شَيۡءٖ
shayʹiñw
(every)thing
وَأَنۡ
waʹan
and that
عَسَىٰٓ
ʻasaaa
perhaps
أَن
ʹañy
[that]
يَكُونَ
yakoona
has
قَدِ
q̣adiq̣
verily
ٱقۡتَرَبَ
taraba
come near
أَجَلُهُمۡۖ
ʹajaluhum?
their term
فَبِأَيِّ
fabiʹayyi
So in what
حَدِيثِۭ
Ḥadees̤im
statement
بَعۡدَهُۥ
baʻdahoo
after this
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yuʹminoon?
will they believe

7:186
مَن
Mañy
Whoever
يُضۡلِلِ
yuḍlilil
(is) let go astray
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
(by) Allah
فَلَا
falaa
then (there is) no
هَادِيَ
haadiya
guide
لَهُۥۚ
lah:
for him
وَيَذَرُهُمۡ
wa-yaẓaruhum
And He leaves them
فِي
fee
in
طُغۡيَٰنِهِمۡ
ṭug̣yaanihim
their transgression
يَعۡمَهُونَ
yaʻmahoon.
wandering blindly
١٨٦
7:187
يَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ
Yasʹaloonaka
They ask you
عَنِ
ʻanis
about
ٱلسَّاعَةِ
Saaʻati
the Hour
أَيَّانَ
ʹayyaana
when will be
مُرۡسَىٰهَاۖ
mursaahaa?
its appointed time
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
إِنَّمَا
ʹinnamaa
Only
عِلۡمُهَا
ʻilmuhaa
its knowledge
عِندَ
ʻiñda
(is) with
رَبِّيۖ
Rabbee.
my Lord
لَا
Laa-
no (one)
يُجَلِّيهَا
yujalleehaa
can reveal [it]
لِوَقۡتِهَآ
liwaq̣tihaaa
its time
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
هُوَۚ
Hoo.
Him
ثَقُلَتۡ
S̤aq̣ulat
It lays heavily
فِي
fis
in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
wal-ʹarḍ.
and the earth
لَا
Laa-
Not
تَأۡتِيكُمۡ
taʹteekum
will it come to you
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
but
بَغۡتَةٗۗ
bag̣tah.
suddenly
يَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ
Yasʹaloonaka
They ask you
كَأَنَّكَ
kaʹannaka
as if you
حَفِيٌّ
ḥafiyyun
(were) well informed
عَنۡهَاۖ
ʻanhaa.
about it
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
إِنَّمَا
ʹinnamaa
Only
عِلۡمُهَا
ʻilmuhaa
its knowledge
عِندَ
ʻiñdal
(is) with
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
وَلَٰكِنَّ
wa-laakinna
but
أَكۡثَرَ
ʹaks̤aran
most
ٱلنَّاسِ
naasi
(of) the people
لَا
laa-
(do) not
يَعۡلَمُونَ
yaʻlamoon.
know

Say
لَّآ

Not
أَمۡلِكُ
ʹamliku
I have power
لِنَفۡسِي
linafsee
for myself
نَفۡعٗا
nafʻañw
(to) benefit
وَلَا
walaa
and no
ضَرًّا
ḍarran
(power to) harm
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
مَا
maa-
what
شَآءَ
shaaaʹal
wills
ٱللَّهُۚ
laah.
Allah
وَلَوۡ
Wa-law
And if
كُنتُ
kuñtu
I would
أَعۡلَمُ
ʹaʻlamul
know
ٱلۡغَيۡبَ
g̣ayba
(of) the unseen
لَٱسۡتَكۡثَرۡتُ
lastaks̤artu
surely I could have multiplied
مِنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡخَيۡرِ
khayri
the good
وَمَا
wa-maa
and not
مَسَّنِيَ
massaniyas
(could) have touched me
ٱلسُّوٓءُۚ
soooʹ.
the evil
إِنۡ
ʹIn
Not
أَنَا۠
ʹana
(am) I
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
نَذِيرٞ
naẓeeruñw
a warner
وَبَشِيرٞ
wabasheerul
and a bearer of good tidings
لِّقَوۡمٖ
liq̣awmiñy
to a people
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yuʹminoon.
who believe
١٨٨
7:189
۞هُوَ
Huwal
He
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
(is) the One Who
خَلَقَكُم
khalaq̣akum
created you
مِّن
min
from
نَّفۡسٖ
nafsiñw
a soul
وَٰحِدَةٖ
waaḥidatiñw
single
وَجَعَلَ
wajaʻala
and made
مِنۡهَا
minhaa
from it
زَوۡجَهَا
zawjahaa
its mate
لِيَسۡكُنَ
liyaskuna
that he might live
إِلَيۡهَاۖ
ʹilayhaa.
with her
فَلَمَّا
Falammaa
And when
تَغَشَّىٰهَا
tag̣ashshaahaa
he covers her
حَمَلَتۡ
ḥamalat
she carries
حَمۡلًا
ḥamlan
a burden
خَفِيفٗا
khafeefañ
light
فَمَرَّتۡ
famarrat
and continues
بِهِۦۖ
bih.
with it
فَلَمَّآ
Falammaaa
But when
أَثۡقَلَت
ʹas̤q̣alad
she grows heavy
دَّعَوَا
daʻawal
they both invoke
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
رَبَّهُمَا
Rabbahumaa
their Lord
لَئِنۡ
laʹin
If
ءَاتَيۡتَنَا
ʹaataytanaa
You give us
صَٰلِحٗا
ṣaaliḥal
a righteous (child)
لَّنَكُونَنَّ
lanakoonanna
surely we will be
مِنَ
minash
among
ٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ
Shaakireen.
the thankful
١٨٩
7:190
فَلَمَّآ
Falammaaa
But when
ءَاتَىٰهُمَا
ʹaataahumaa
He gives them
صَٰلِحٗا
ṣaaliḥañ
a good (child)
جَعَلَا
jaʻalaa
they make
لَهُۥ
lahoo
for Him
شُرَكَآءَ
shurakaaaʹa
partners
فِيمَآ
feemaaa
in what
ءَاتَىٰهُمَاۚ
ʹaataahumaa.
He has given them
فَتَعَٰلَى
Fataʻaalal
But exalted
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
(is) Allah
عَمَّا
ʻammaa
above what
يُشۡرِكُونَ
yushrikoon.
they associate (with Him)
١٩٠
7:191
أَيُشۡرِكُونَ
ʹA-yushrikoona
Do they associate
مَا
Maa
what
لَا
laa-
(can) not
يَخۡلُقُ
yakhluq̣u
create
شَيۡـٔٗا
shayʹañw
anything
وَهُمۡ
wahum
and they
يُخۡلَقُونَ
yukhlaq̣oon?
are created
١٩١
7:192
وَلَا
Wa-laa
And not
يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ
yastaṭeeʻoona
they are able
لَهُمۡ
lahum
to (give) them
نَصۡرٗا
naṣrañw
any help
وَلَآ
walaaa
and not
أَنفُسَهُمۡ
ʹañfusahum
themselves
يَنصُرُونَ
yañṣuroon.
can they help
١٩٢
7:193
وَإِن
Wa-ʹiñ
And if
تَدۡعُوهُمۡ
tadʻoohum
you call them
إِلَى
ʹilal
to
ٱلۡهُدَىٰ
hudaa
the guidance
لَا
laa-
not
يَتَّبِعُوكُمۡۚ
yattabiʻookum.
will they follow you
سَوَآءٌ
Sawaaaʹun
(It is) same
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
ʻalaykum
for you
أَدَعَوۡتُمُوهُمۡ
ʹa-daʻawtumoohum
whether you call them
أَمۡ
ʹam
or
أَنتُمۡ
ʹañtum
you
صَٰمِتُونَ
ṣaamitoon.
remain silent
١٩٣
7:194
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those whom
تَدۡعُونَ
tadʻoona
you call
مِن
miñ
from
دُونِ
doonil
besides
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
عِبَادٌ
ʻibaadun
(are) slaves
أَمۡثَالُكُمۡۖ
ʹams̤aalukum
like you
فَٱدۡعُوهُمۡ
fadʻoohum
So invoke them
فَلۡيَسۡتَجِيبُواْ
fal-yastajeeboo
and let them respond
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
إِن
ʹiñ
if
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you are
صَٰدِقِينَ
ṣaadiq̣een!
truthful

7:195
أَلَهُمۡ
ʹAlahum
Are for them
أَرۡجُلٞ
ʹarjuluñy
feet
يَمۡشُونَ
yamshoona
(to) walk
بِهَآۖ
bihaaa
with [it]
أَمۡ
ʹam
or
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
أَيۡدٖ
ʹaydiñy
hands
يَبۡطِشُونَ
yabṭishoona
(to) hold
بِهَآۖ
bihaaa
with [it]
أَمۡ
ʹam
or
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
أَعۡيُنٞ
ʹaʻyunuñy
eyes
يُبۡصِرُونَ
yubṣiroona
(to) see
بِهَآۖ
bihaaa
with [it]
أَمۡ
ʹam
or
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
ءَاذَانٞ
ʹaaẓaanuñy
ears
يَسۡمَعُونَ
yasmaʻoona
(to) hear
بِهَاۗ
bihaa?
with [it]
قُلِ
Q̣ulid
Say
ٱدۡعُواْ
ʻoo
Call
شُرَكَآءَكُمۡ
shurakaaaʹakum
your partners
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
كِيدُونِ
keedooni
scheme against me
فَلَا
falaa
and (do) not
تُنظِرُونِ
tuñz̤̣iroon.
give me respite

إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
وَلِـِّۧيَ
Waliyyal
my protector
ٱللَّهُ
laahul
(is) Allah
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
the One Who
نَزَّلَ
nazzalal
revealed
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَۖ
Kitaaba
the Book
وَهُوَ
wa-Huwa
And He
يَتَوَلَّى
yatawallaṣ
protects
ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
Ṣaaliḥeen.
the righteous
١٩٦
7:197
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
And those whom
تَدۡعُونَ
tadʻoona
you invoke
مِن
miñ
from
دُونِهِۦ
doonihee
besides Him
لَا
laa-
not
يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ
yastaṭeeʻoona
they are able
نَصۡرَكُمۡ
naṣrakum
(to) help you
وَلَآ
wa-laaa
and not
أَنفُسَهُمۡ
ʹañfusahum
themselves
يَنصُرُونَ
yañṣuroon.
can they help
١٩٧
7:198
وَإِن
Wa-ʹiñ
And if
تَدۡعُوهُمۡ
tadʻoohum
you call them
إِلَى
ʹilal
to
ٱلۡهُدَىٰ
hudaa
the guidance
لَا
laa-
not
يَسۡمَعُواْۖ
yasmaʻoo.
do they not
وَتَرَىٰهُمۡ
Wa-taraahum
And you see them
يَنظُرُونَ
yañz̤̣uroona
looking
إِلَيۡكَ
ʹilayka
at you
وَهُمۡ
Wahum
but they
لَا
laa-
not
يُبۡصِرُونَ
yubṣiroon.
(do) they see

7:199
خُذِ
Khuẓil
Hold
ٱلۡعَفۡوَ
ʻafwa
(to) forgiveness
وَأۡمُرۡ
waʹmur
and enjoin
بِٱلۡعُرۡفِ
bilʻurfi
the good
وَأَعۡرِضۡ
wa-ʹaʻriḍ
and turn away
عَنِ
ʻanil
from
ٱلۡجَٰهِلِينَ
jaahileen.
the ignorant
١٩٩
7:200
وَإِمَّا
Wa-ʹimmaa
And if
يَنزَغَنَّكَ
yañzag̣annaka
an evil suggestion comes to you
مِنَ
minash
from
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِ
Shayṭaani
[the] Shaitaan
نَزۡغٞ
nazg̣uñ
[an evil suggestion]
فَٱسۡتَعِذۡ
fastaʻiẓ
then seek refuge
بِٱللَّهِۚ
billaah;
in Allah
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹinnahoo
Indeed He
سَمِيعٌ
Sameeʻun
(is) All-Hearing
عَلِيمٌ
ʻAleem.
All-Knowing
