the heavens
وَمَا
wama
and whatever
فِي
fi
(is) in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
ٱلۡمَلِكِ
al-maliki
the Sovereign
ٱلۡقُدُّوسِ
al-qudusi
the Holy
ٱلۡعَزِيزِ
al-'azizi
the All-Mighty
ٱلۡحَكِيمِ
al-hakimi
the All-Wise
١
62:2
هُوَ
huwa
He
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
(is) the One Who
بَعَثَ
ba'atha
sent
فِي
fi
among
ٱلۡأُمِّيِّـۧنَ
al-umiyina
the unlettered
رَسُولٗا
rasulan
a Messenger
مِّنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
from themselves
يَتۡلُواْ
yatlu
reciting
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
alayhim
to them
ءَايَٰتِهِۦ
ayatihi
His Verses
وَيُزَكِّيهِمۡ
wayuzakkihim
and purifying them
وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ
wayu'allimuhumu
and teaching them
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
al-kitaba
the Book
وَٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ
wal-hik'mata
and the wisdom
وَإِن
wa-in
although
كَانُواْ
kanu
they were
مِن
min
from
قَبۡلُ
qablu
before
لَفِي
lafi
surely in
ضَلَٰلٖ
dalalin
an error
مُّبِينٖ
mubinin
clear
٢
62:3
وَءَاخَرِينَ
waakharina
And others
مِنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
among them
لَمَّا
lamma
who have not yet
يَلۡحَقُواْ
yalhaqu
joined
بِهِمۡۚ
bihim
them
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
and He
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
al-'azizu
(is) the All-Mighty
ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
al-hakimu
the All-Wise
٣
62:4
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
فَضۡلُ
fadlu
(is the) Bounty
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
يُؤۡتِيهِ
yu'tihi
He gives it
مَن
man
(to) whom
يَشَآءُۚ
yashau
He wills
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
ذُو
dhu
(is the) Possessor
ٱلۡفَضۡلِ
al-fadli
(of) Bounty
ٱلۡعَظِيمِ
al-'azimi
the Great
٤
62:5
مَثَلُ
mathalu
(The) likeness
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(of) those who
حُمِّلُواْ
hummilu
were entrusted
ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةَ
al-tawrata
(with) the Taurat
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
لَمۡ
lam
not
يَحۡمِلُوهَا
yahmiluha
they bore it
كَمَثَلِ
kamathali
(is) like
ٱلۡحِمَارِ
al-himari
the donkey
يَحۡمِلُ
yahmilu
who carries
أَسۡفَارَۢاۚ
asfaran
books
بِئۡسَ
bi'sa
Wretched is
مَثَلُ
mathalu
(the) example
ٱلۡقَوۡمِ
al-qawmi
(of) the people
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
who
كَذَّبُواْ
kadhabu
deny
بِـَٔايَٰتِ
biayati
(the) Signs
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
لَا
la
(does) not
يَهۡدِي
yahdi
guide
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ
al-qawma
the people
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
al-zalimina
the wrongdoers
٥
62:6
قُلۡ
qul
Say
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
you (who)
هَادُوٓاْ
hadu
(are) Jews
إِن
in
If
زَعَمۡتُمۡ
za'amtum
you claim
أَنَّكُمۡ
annakum
that you
أَوۡلِيَآءُ
awliyau
(are) allies
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
of Allah
مِن
min
from
دُونِ
duni
excluding
ٱلنَّاسِ
al-nasi
the people
فَتَمَنَّوُاْ
fatamannawu
then wish
ٱلۡمَوۡتَ
al-mawta
(for) the death
إِن
in
if
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
you are
صَٰدِقِينَ
sadiqina
truthful
٦
62:7
وَلَا
wala
But not
يَتَمَنَّوۡنَهُۥٓ
yatamannawnahu
they will wish for it
أَبَدَۢا
abadan
ever
بِمَا
bima
for what
قَدَّمَتۡ
qaddamat
(have) sent forth
أَيۡدِيهِمۡۚ
aydihim
their hands
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
عَلِيمُۢ
alimun
(is) All-Knowing
بِٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
bil-zalimina
of the wrongdoers
٧
62:8
قُلۡ
qul
Say
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلۡمَوۡتَ
al-mawta
the death
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
which
تَفِرُّونَ
tafirruna
you flee
مِنۡهُ
min'hu
from it
فَإِنَّهُۥ
fa-innahu
then surely it
مُلَٰقِيكُمۡۖ
mulaqikum
(will) meet you
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
تُرَدُّونَ
turadduna
you will be sent back
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
عَٰلِمِ
alimi
(the) All-Knower
ٱلۡغَيۡبِ
al-ghaybi
(of) the unseen
وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ
wal-shahadati
and the witnessed
فَيُنَبِّئُكُم
fayunabbi-ukum
and He will inform you
بِمَا
bima
[of] what
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
you used to
تَعۡمَلُونَ
ta'maluna
do

62:9
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(you) who
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
amanu
believe
إِذَا
idha
When
نُودِيَ
nudiya
(the) call is made
لِلصَّلَوٰةِ
lilssalati
for (the) prayer
مِن
min
on
يَوۡمِ
yawmi
(the) day
ٱلۡجُمُعَةِ
al-jumu'ati
(of) Friday
فَٱسۡعَوۡاْ
fa-is'aw
then hasten
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
ذِكۡرِ
dhik'ri
(the) remembrance
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَذَرُواْ
wadharu
and leave
ٱلۡبَيۡعَۚ
al-bay'a
the business
ذَٰلِكُمۡ
dhalikum
That
خَيۡرٞ
khayrun
(is) better
لَّكُمۡ
lakum
for you
إِن
in
if
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
you
تَعۡلَمُونَ
ta'lamuna
know
٩
62:10
فَإِذَا
fa-idha
Then when
قُضِيَتِ
qudiyati
is concluded
ٱلصَّلَوٰةُ
al-salatu
the prayer
فَٱنتَشِرُواْ
fa-intashiru
then disperse
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the land
وَٱبۡتَغُواْ
wa-ib'taghu
and seek
مِن
min
from
فَضۡلِ
fadli
(the) Bounty
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَٱذۡكُرُواْ
wa-udh'kuru
and remember
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
كَثِيرٗا
kathiran
much
لَّعَلَّكُمۡ
la'allakum
so that you may
تُفۡلِحُونَ
tuf'lihuna
succeed
١٠
62:11
وَإِذَا
wa-idha
And when
رَأَوۡاْ
ra-aw
they saw
تِجَٰرَةً
tijaratan
a transaction
أَوۡ
aw
or
لَهۡوًا
lahwan
a sport
ٱنفَضُّوٓاْ
infaddu
they rushed
إِلَيۡهَا
ilayha
to it
وَتَرَكُوكَ
watarakuka
and left you
قَآئِمٗاۚ
qaiman
standing
قُلۡ
qul
Say
مَا
ma
What
عِندَ
inda
(is) with
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
خَيۡرٞ
khayrun
(is) better
مِّنَ
mina
than
ٱللَّهۡوِ
al-lahwi
the sport
وَمِنَ
wamina
and from
ٱلتِّجَٰرَةِۚ
al-tijarati
(any) transaction
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
خَيۡرُ
khayru
(is the) Best
ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ
al-raziqina
(of) the Providers
