ٱلۡحَمۡدُ

(All) the praises and thanks
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
(be) to Allah
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
the One Who
خَلَقَ
khalaqa
created
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ
wal-arda
and the earth
وَجَعَلَ
waja'ala
and made
ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ
al-zulumati
the darkness[es]
وَٱلنُّورَۖ
wal-nura
and the light
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieved
بِرَبِّهِمۡ
birabbihim
in their Lord
يَعۡدِلُونَ
ya'diluna
equate others with Him

6:2
هُوَ
huwa
He
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
(is) the One Who
خَلَقَكُم
khalaqakum
created you
مِّن
min
from
طِينٖ
tinin
clay
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
قَضَىٰٓ
qada
He decreed
أَجَلٗاۖ
ajalan
a term
وَأَجَلٞ
wa-ajalun
and a term
مُّسَمًّى
musamman
specified
عِندَهُۥۖ
indahu
with Him
ثُمَّ
thumma
yet
أَنتُمۡ
antum
you
تَمۡتَرُونَ
tamtaruna
doubt
٢
6:3
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
And He
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(is) Allah
فِي
fi
in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَفِي
wafi
and in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
يَعۡلَمُ
ya'lamu
He knows
سِرَّكُمۡ
sirrakum
your secret
وَجَهۡرَكُمۡ
wajahrakum
and what you make public
وَيَعۡلَمُ
waya'lamu
and He knows
مَا
ma
what
تَكۡسِبُونَ
taksibuna
you earn
٣
6:4
وَمَا
wama
And not
تَأۡتِيهِم
tatihim
comes to them
مِّنۡ
min
[of]
ءَايَةٖ
ayatin
any sign
مِّنۡ
min
from
ءَايَٰتِ
ayati
(the) Signs
رَبِّهِمۡ
rabbihim
(of) their Lord
إِلَّا
illa
but
كَانُواْ
kanu
they are
عَنۡهَا
anha
from it
مُعۡرِضِينَ
mu'ridina
turning away
٤
6:5
فَقَدۡ
faqad
Then indeed
كَذَّبُواْ
kadhabu
they denied
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
bil-haqi
the truth
لَمَّا
lamma
when
جَآءَهُمۡ
jaahum
it came to them
فَسَوۡفَ
fasawfa
but soon
يَأۡتِيهِمۡ
yatihim
will come to them
أَنۢبَٰٓؤُاْ
anbau
news
مَا
ma
(of) what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used to
بِهِۦ
bihi
[at it]
يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ
yastahziuna
mock
٥
6:6
أَلَمۡ
alam
Did not
يَرَوۡاْ
yaraw
they see
كَمۡ
kam
how many
أَهۡلَكۡنَا
ahlakna
We destroyed
مِن
min
from
قَبۡلِهِم
qablihim
before them
مِّن
min
of
قَرۡنٖ
qarnin
generations
مَّكَّنَّٰهُمۡ
makkannahum
We had established them
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
مَا
ma
what
لَمۡ
lam
not
نُمَكِّن
numakkin
We (have) established
لَّكُمۡ
lakum
for you
وَأَرۡسَلۡنَا
wa-arsalna
And We sent
ٱلسَّمَآءَ
al-samaa
(rain from) the sky
عَلَيۡهِم
alayhim
upon them
مِّدۡرَارٗا
mid'raran
showering abundantly
وَجَعَلۡنَا
waja'alna
and We made
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرَ
al-anhara
the rivers
تَجۡرِي
tajri
flow
مِن
min
from
تَحۡتِهِمۡ
tahtihim
underneath them
فَأَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُم
fa-ahlaknahum
Then We destroyed them
بِذُنُوبِهِمۡ
bidhunubihim
for their sins
وَأَنشَأۡنَا
wa-anshana
and We raised
مِنۢ
min
from
بَعۡدِهِمۡ
ba'dihim
after them
قَرۡنًا
qarnan
generations
ءَاخَرِينَ
akharina
other
٦
6:7
وَلَوۡ
walaw
And (even) if
نَزَّلۡنَا
nazzalna
We (had) sent down
عَلَيۡكَ
alayka
to you
كِتَٰبٗا
kitaban
a written Scripture
فِي
fi
in
قِرۡطَاسٖ
qir'tasin
a parchment
فَلَمَسُوهُ
falamasuhu
and they touched it
بِأَيۡدِيهِمۡ
bi-aydihim
with their hands
لَقَالَ
laqala
surely (would) have said
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُوٓاْ
kafaru
disbelieved
إِنۡ
in
Not
هَٰذَآ
hadha
(is) this
إِلَّا
illa
but
سِحۡرٞ
sih'run
magic
مُّبِينٞ
mubinun
clear
٧
6:8
وَقَالُواْ
waqalu
And they said
لَوۡلَآ
lawla
Why has not been
أُنزِلَ
unzila
sent down
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
to him
مَلَكٞۖ
malakun
an Angel
وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
أَنزَلۡنَا
anzalna
We (had) sent down
مَلَكٗا
malakan
an Angel
لَّقُضِيَ
laqudiya
surely (would) have been decided
ٱلۡأَمۡرُ
al-amru
the matter
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
لَا
la
no
يُنظَرُونَ
yunzaruna
respite would have been granted to them

وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
جَعَلۡنَٰهُ
ja'alnahu
We had made him
مَلَكٗا
malakan
an Angel
لَّجَعَلۡنَٰهُ
laja'alnahu
certainly We (would) have made him
رَجُلٗا
rajulan
a man
وَلَلَبَسۡنَا
walalabasna
and certainly We (would) have obscured
عَلَيۡهِم
alayhim
to them
مَّا
ma
what
يَلۡبِسُونَ
yalbisuna
they are obscuring
٩
6:10
وَلَقَدِ
walaqadi
And indeed
ٱسۡتُهۡزِئَ
us'tuh'zi-a
were mocked
بِرُسُلٖ
birusulin
Messengers
مِّن
min
from
قَبۡلِكَ
qablika
before you
فَحَاقَ
fahaqa
but surrounded
بِٱلَّذِينَ
bi-alladhina
those who
سَخِرُواْ
sakhiru
scoffed
مِنۡهُم
min'hum
of them
مَّا
ma
what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used to
بِهِۦ
bihi
[at it]
يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ
yastahziuna
mock
١٠
6:11
قُلۡ
qul
Say
سِيرُواْ
siru
Travel
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
ثُمَّ
thumma
and
ٱنظُرُواْ
unzuru
see
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
كَانَ
kana
was
عَٰقِبَةُ
aqibatu
(the) end
ٱلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
al-mukadhibina
(of) the rejecters
١١
6:12
قُل
qul
Say
لِّمَن
liman
To whom (belongs)
مَّا
ma
what
فِي
fi
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ
wal-ardi
and the earth
قُل
qul
Say
لِّلَّهِۚ
lillahi
To Allah
كَتَبَ
kataba
He has decreed
عَلَىٰ
ala
upon
نَفۡسِهِ
nafsihi
Himself
ٱلرَّحۡمَةَۚ
al-rahmata
the Mercy
لَيَجۡمَعَنَّكُمۡ
layajma'annakum
Surely He will assemble you
إِلَىٰ
ila
on
يَوۡمِ
yawmi
(the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
al-qiyamati
(of) the Resurrection
لَا
la
(there is) no
رَيۡبَ
rayba
doubt
فِيهِۚ
fihi
about it
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
Those who
خَسِرُوٓاْ
khasiru
have lost
أَنفُسَهُمۡ
anfusahum
themselves
فَهُمۡ
fahum
then they
لَا
la
(do) not
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yu'minuna
believe
١٢
6:13
۞وَلَهُۥ
walahu
And for Him
مَا
ma
(is) whatever
سَكَنَ
sakana
dwells
فِي
fi
in
ٱلَّيۡلِ
al-layli
the night
وَٱلنَّهَارِۚ
wal-nahari
and the day
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
and He
ٱلسَّمِيعُ
al-sami'u
(is) All-Hearing
ٱلۡعَلِيمُ
al-'alimu
All-Knowing
١٣
6:14
قُلۡ
qul
Say
أَغَيۡرَ
aghayra
Is it other than
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
أَتَّخِذُ
attakhidhu
I (should) take
وَلِيّٗا
waliyyan
(as) a protector
فَاطِرِ
fatiri
Creator
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
wal-ardi
and the earth
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
while (it is) He
يُطۡعِمُ
yut'imu
Who feeds
وَلَا
wala
and not
يُطۡعَمُۗ
yut'amu
He is fed
قُلۡ
qul
Say
إِنِّيٓ
inni
Indeed I
أُمِرۡتُ
umir'tu
[I] am commanded
أَنۡ
an
that
أَكُونَ
akuna
I be
أَوَّلَ
awwala
(the) first
مَنۡ
man
who
أَسۡلَمَۖ
aslama
submits (to Allah)
وَلَا
wala
and not
تَكُونَنَّ
takunanna
be
مِنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ
al-mush'rikina
the polytheists
١٤
6:15
قُلۡ
qul
Say
إِنِّيٓ
inni
Indeed I
أَخَافُ
akhafu
[I] fear
إِنۡ
in
if
عَصَيۡتُ
asaytu
I disobeyed
رَبِّي
rabbi
my Lord
عَذَابَ
adhaba
punishment
يَوۡمٍ
yawmin
(of) a Day
عَظِيمٖ
azimin
Mighty
١٥
6:16
مَّن
man
Whoever
يُصۡرَفۡ
yus'raf
is averted
عَنۡهُ
anhu
from it
يَوۡمَئِذٖ
yawma-idhin
that Day
فَقَدۡ
faqad
then surely
رَحِمَهُۥۚ
rahimahu
He had Mercy on him
وَذَٰلِكَ
wadhalika
And that
ٱلۡفَوۡزُ
al-fawzu
(is) the success
ٱلۡمُبِينُ
al-mubinu
(the) clear
١٦
6:17
وَإِن
wa-in
And if
يَمۡسَسۡكَ
yamsaska
touches you
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
بِضُرّٖ
bidurrin
with affliction
فَلَا
fala
then no
كَاشِفَ
kashifa
remover
لَهُۥٓ
lahu
of it
إِلَّا
illa
except
هُوَۖ
huwa
Him
وَإِن
wa-in
And if
يَمۡسَسۡكَ
yamsaska
He touches you
بِخَيۡرٖ
bikhayrin
with good
فَهُوَ
fahuwa
then He
عَلَىٰ
ala
(is) on
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
thing
قَدِيرٞ
qadirun
All-Powerful
١٧
6:18
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
And He
ٱلۡقَاهِرُ
al-qahiru
(is) the Subjugator
فَوۡقَ
fawqa
over
عِبَادِهِۦۚ
ibadihi
His slaves
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
And He
ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
al-hakimu
(is) the All-Wise
ٱلۡخَبِيرُ
al-khabiru
the All-Aware

قُلۡ
qul
Say
أَيُّ
ayyu
What
شَيۡءٍ
shayin
thing
أَكۡبَرُ
akbaru
(is) greatest
شَهَٰدَةٗۖ
shahadatan
(as) a testimony
قُلِ
quli
Say
ٱللَّهُۖ
al-lahu
Allah
شَهِيدُۢ
shahidun
(is) Witness
بَيۡنِي
bayni
between me
وَبَيۡنَكُمۡۚ
wabaynakum
and between you
وَأُوحِيَ
wauhiya
and has been revealed
إِلَيَّ
ilayya
to me
هَٰذَا
hadha
this
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ
al-qur'anu
[the] Quran
لِأُنذِرَكُم
li-undhirakum
that I may warn you
بِهِۦ
bihi
with it
وَمَنۢ
waman
and whoever
بَلَغَۚ
balagha
it reaches
أَئِنَّكُمۡ
a-innakum
Do you truly
لَتَشۡهَدُونَ
latashhaduna
testify
أَنَّ
anna
that
مَعَ
ma'a
with
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
ءَالِهَةً
alihatan
(there are) gods
أُخۡرَىٰۚ
ukh'ra
other
قُل
qul
Say
لَّآ
la
Not
أَشۡهَدُۚ
ashhadu
(do) I testify
قُلۡ
qul
Say
إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
هُوَ
huwa
He
إِلَٰهٞ
ilahun
(is) God
وَٰحِدٞ
wahidun
One
وَإِنَّنِي
wa-innani
and indeed I am
بَرِيٓءٞ
barion
free
مِّمَّا
mimma
of what
تُشۡرِكُونَ
tush'rikuna
you associate (with Him)
١٩
6:20
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
Those (to) whom
ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمُ
ataynahumu
We have given them
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
al-kitaba
the Book
يَعۡرِفُونَهُۥ
ya'rifunahu
they recognize him
كَمَا
kama
as
يَعۡرِفُونَ
ya'rifuna
they recognize
أَبۡنَآءَهُمُۘ
abnaahumu
their sons
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
Those who
خَسِرُوٓاْ
khasiru
lost
أَنفُسَهُمۡ
anfusahum
themselves
فَهُمۡ
fahum
then they
لَا
la
(do) not
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yu'minuna
believe
٢٠
6:21
وَمَنۡ
waman
And who
أَظۡلَمُ
azlamu
(is) more unjust
مِمَّنِ
mimmani
than (he) who
ٱفۡتَرَىٰ
if'tara
invents
عَلَى
ala
against
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
كَذِبًا
kadhiban
a lie
أَوۡ
aw
or
كَذَّبَ
kadhaba
rejects
بِـَٔايَٰتِهِۦٓۚ
biayatihi
His Signs
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed
لَا
la
not
يُفۡلِحُ
yuf'lihu
will be successful
ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
al-zalimuna
the wrongdoers
٢١
6:22
وَيَوۡمَ
wayawma
And (the) Day
نَحۡشُرُهُمۡ
nahshuruhum
We will gather them
جَمِيعٗا
jami'an
all
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
نَقُولُ
naqulu
We will say
لِلَّذِينَ
lilladhina
to those who
أَشۡرَكُوٓاْ
ashraku
associated others with Allah
أَيۡنَ
ayna
Where (are)
شُرَكَآؤُكُمُ
shurakaukumu
your partners
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those whom
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
you used to
تَزۡعُمُونَ
taz'umuna
claim
٢٢
6:23
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
لَمۡ
lam
not
تَكُن
takun
will be
فِتۡنَتُهُمۡ
fit'natuhum
(for) them a plea
إِلَّآ
illa
except
أَن
an
that
قَالُواْ
qalu
they say
وَٱللَّهِ
wal-lahi
By Allah
رَبِّنَا
rabbina
our Lord
مَا
ma
not
كُنَّا
kunna
we were
مُشۡرِكِينَ
mush'rikina
those who associated others (with Allah)
٢٣
6:24
ٱنظُرۡ
unzur
Look
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
كَذَبُواْ
kadhabu
they lied
عَلَىٰٓ
ala
against
أَنفُسِهِمۡۚ
anfusihim
themselves
وَضَلَّ
wadalla
And lost
عَنۡهُم
anhum
from them
مَّا
ma
what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used to
يَفۡتَرُونَ
yaftaruna
invent
٢٤
6:25
وَمِنۡهُم
wamin'hum
And among them
مَّن
man
(are those) who
يَسۡتَمِعُ
yastami'u
listen
إِلَيۡكَۖ
ilayka
to you
وَجَعَلۡنَا
waja'alna
but We have placed
عَلَىٰ
ala
over
قُلُوبِهِمۡ
qulubihim
their hearts
أَكِنَّةً
akinnatan
coverings
أَن
an
lest
يَفۡقَهُوهُ
yafqahuhu
they understand it
وَفِيٓ
wafi
and in
ءَاذَانِهِمۡ
adhanihim
their ears
وَقۡرٗاۚ
waqran
deafness
وَإِن
wa-in
And if
يَرَوۡاْ
yaraw
they see
كُلَّ
kulla
every
ءَايَةٖ
ayatin
sign
لَّا
la
not
يُؤۡمِنُواْ
yu'minu
will they believe
بِهَاۖ
biha
in it
حَتَّىٰٓ
hatta
Until
إِذَا
idha
when
جَآءُوكَ
jauka
they come to you
يُجَٰدِلُونَكَ
yujadilunaka
and argue with you
يَقُولُ
yaqulu
say
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُوٓاْ
kafaru
disbelieved
إِنۡ
in
Not
هَٰذَآ
hadha
(is) this
إِلَّآ
illa
but
أَسَٰطِيرُ
asatiru
(the) tales
ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
al-awalina
(of) the former (people)
٢٥
6:26
وَهُمۡ
wahum
And they
يَنۡهَوۡنَ
yanhawna
forbid (others)
عَنۡهُ
anhu
from it
وَيَنۡـَٔوۡنَ
wayanawna
and they keep away
عَنۡهُۖ
anhu
from it
وَإِن
wa-in
And not
يُهۡلِكُونَ
yuh'likuna
they destroy
إِلَّآ
illa
except
أَنفُسَهُمۡ
anfusahum
themselves
وَمَا
wama
and not
يَشۡعُرُونَ
yash'uruna
they perceive
٢٦
6:27
وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
تَرَىٰٓ
tara
you (could) see
إِذۡ
idh
when
وُقِفُواْ
wuqifu
they are made to stand
عَلَى
ala
by
ٱلنَّارِ
al-nari
the Fire
فَقَالُواْ
faqalu
then they (will) say
يَٰلَيۡتَنَا
yalaytana
Oh! Would that we
نُرَدُّ
nuraddu
were sent back
وَلَا
wala
and not
نُكَذِّبَ
nukadhiba
we would deny
بِـَٔايَٰتِ
biayati
(the) Signs
رَبِّنَا
rabbina
(of) our Lord
وَنَكُونَ
wanakuna
and we would be
مِنَ
mina
among
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
al-mu'minina
the believers
٢٧

6:28
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
بَدَا
bada
became manifest
لَهُم
lahum
for them
مَّا
ma
what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used to
يُخۡفُونَ
yukh'funa
conceal
مِن
min
from
قَبۡلُۖ
qablu
before
وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
رُدُّواْ
ruddu
they were sent back
لَعَادُواْ
la'adu
certainly they (would) return
لِمَا
lima
to what
نُهُواْ
nuhu
they were forbidden
عَنۡهُ
anhu
from it
وَإِنَّهُمۡ
wa-innahum
and indeed they
لَكَٰذِبُونَ
lakadhibuna
certainly are liars
٢٨
6:29
وَقَالُوٓاْ
waqalu
And they said
إِنۡ
in
Not
هِيَ
hiya
it (is)
إِلَّا
illa
except
حَيَاتُنَا
hayatuna
our life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
al-dun'ya
(of) the world
وَمَا
wama
and not
نَحۡنُ
nahnu
we
بِمَبۡعُوثِينَ
bimab'uthina
(will be) resurrected
٢٩
6:30
وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
تَرَىٰٓ
tara
you (could) see
إِذۡ
idh
when
وُقِفُواْ
wuqifu
they will be made to stand
عَلَىٰ
ala
before
رَبِّهِمۡۚ
rabbihim
their Lord
قَالَ
qala
He (will) say
أَلَيۡسَ
alaysa
Is not
هَٰذَا
hadha
this
بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ
bil-haqi
the truth
قَالُواْ
qalu
They will say
بَلَىٰ
bala
Yes
وَرَبِّنَاۚ
warabbina
by our Lord
قَالَ
qala
He (will) say
فَذُوقُواْ
fadhuqu
So taste
ٱلۡعَذَابَ
al-'adhaba
the punishment
بِمَا
bima
because
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
you used to
تَكۡفُرُونَ
takfuruna
disbelieve
٣٠
6:31
قَدۡ
qad
Indeed
خَسِرَ
khasira
incurred loss
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَذَّبُواْ
kadhabu
denied
بِلِقَآءِ
biliqai
in (the) meeting
ٱللَّهِۖ
al-lahi
(with) Allah
حَتَّىٰٓ
hatta
until
إِذَا
idha
when
جَآءَتۡهُمُ
jaathumu
came to them
ٱلسَّاعَةُ
al-sa'atu
the Hour
بَغۡتَةٗ
baghtatan
suddenly
قَالُواْ
qalu
they said
يَٰحَسۡرَتَنَا
yahasratana
Oh! Our regret
عَلَىٰ
ala
over
مَا
ma
what
فَرَّطۡنَا
farratna
we neglected
فِيهَا
fiha
concerning it
وَهُمۡ
wahum
while they
يَحۡمِلُونَ
yahmiluna
will bear
أَوۡزَارَهُمۡ
awzarahum
their burdens
عَلَىٰ
ala
on
ظُهُورِهِمۡۚ
zuhurihim
their backs
أَلَا
ala
Unquestionably
سَآءَ
saa
Evil
مَا
ma
(is) what
يَزِرُونَ
yaziruna
they bear
٣١
6:32
وَمَا
wama
And not
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ
al-hayatu
(is) the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَآ
al-dun'ya
(of) the world
إِلَّا
illa
except
لَعِبٞ
la'ibun
a play
وَلَهۡوٞۖ
walahwun
and amusement
وَلَلدَّارُ
walalddaru
but the home
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةُ
al-akhiratu
(of) the Hereafter
خَيۡرٞ
khayrun
(is) best
لِّلَّذِينَ
lilladhina
for those who
يَتَّقُونَۚ
yattaquna
(are) God conscious
أَفَلَا
afala
Then not
تَعۡقِلُونَ
ta'qiluna
(will) you reason
٣٢
6:33
قَدۡ
qad
Indeed
نَعۡلَمُ
na'lamu
We know
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
that it
لَيَحۡزُنُكَ
layahzunuka
grieves you
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
what
يَقُولُونَۖ
yaquluna
they say
فَإِنَّهُمۡ
fa-innahum
And indeed they
لَا
la
(do) not
يُكَذِّبُونَكَ
yukadhibunaka
deny you
وَلَٰكِنَّ
walakinna
but
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
al-zalimina
the wrongdoers
بِـَٔايَٰتِ
biayati
the Verses
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
يَجۡحَدُونَ
yajhaduna
they reject
٣٣
6:34
وَلَقَدۡ
walaqad
And surely
كُذِّبَتۡ
kudhibat
were rejected
رُسُلٞ
rusulun
Messengers
مِّن
min
from
قَبۡلِكَ
qablika
before you
فَصَبَرُواْ
fasabaru
but they were patient
عَلَىٰ
ala
over
مَا
ma
what
كُذِّبُواْ
kudhibu
they were rejected
وَأُوذُواْ
waudhu
and they were harmed
حَتَّىٰٓ
hatta
until
أَتَىٰهُمۡ
atahum
came to them
نَصۡرُنَاۚ
nasruna
Our help
وَلَا
wala
And no
مُبَدِّلَ
mubaddila
one (can) alter
لِكَلِمَٰتِ
likalimati
(the) words
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَلَقَدۡ
walaqad
and surely
جَآءَكَ
jaaka
has come to you
مِن
min
of
نَّبَإِيْ
naba-i
(the) news
ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
al-mur'salina
(of) the Messengers
٣٤
6:35
وَإِن
wa-in
And if
كَانَ
kana
is
كَبُرَ
kabura
difficult
عَلَيۡكَ
alayka
for you
إِعۡرَاضُهُمۡ
i'raduhum
their aversion
فَإِنِ
fa-ini
then if
ٱسۡتَطَعۡتَ
is'tata'ta
you are able
أَن
an
to
تَبۡتَغِيَ
tabtaghiya
seek
نَفَقٗا
nafaqan
a tunnel
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
أَوۡ
aw
or
سُلَّمٗا
sullaman
a ladder
فِي
fi
into
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
al-samai
the sky
فَتَأۡتِيَهُم
fatatiyahum
so that you bring to them
بِـَٔايَةٖۚ
biayatin
a Sign
وَلَوۡ
walaw
But if
شَآءَ
shaa
(had) willed
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
لَجَمَعَهُمۡ
lajama'ahum
surely He (would) have gathered them
عَلَى
ala
on
ٱلۡهُدَىٰۚ
al-huda
the guidance
فَلَا
fala
So (do) not
تَكُونَنَّ
takunanna
be
مِنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡجَٰهِلِينَ
al-jahilina
the ignorant

6:36
۞إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
يَسۡتَجِيبُ
yastajibu
respond
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
يَسۡمَعُونَۘ
yasma'una
listen
وَٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ
wal-mawta
But the dead
يَبۡعَثُهُمُ
yab'athuhumu
will resurrect them
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
إِلَيۡهِ
ilayhi
to Him
يُرۡجَعُونَ
yur'ja'una
they will be returned
٣٦
6:37
وَقَالُواْ
waqalu
And they said
لَوۡلَا
lawla
Why (is) not
نُزِّلَ
nuzzila
sent down
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
to him
ءَايَةٞ
ayatun
a Sign
مِّن
min
from
رَّبِّهِۦۚ
rabbihi
his Lord
قُلۡ
qul
Say
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
قَادِرٌ
qadirun
(is) Able
عَلَىٰٓ
ala
[on]
أَن
an
to
يُنَزِّلَ
yunazzila
send down
ءَايَةٗ
ayatan
a Sign
وَلَٰكِنَّ
walakinna
but
أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ
aktharahum
most of them
لَا
la
(do) not
يَعۡلَمُونَ
ya'lamuna
know
٣٧
6:38
وَمَا
wama
And not
مِن
min
[of]
دَآبَّةٖ
dabbatin
any animal
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
وَلَا
wala
and not
طَٰٓئِرٖ
tairin
a bird
يَطِيرُ
yatiru
(that) flies
بِجَنَاحَيۡهِ
bijanahayhi
with its wings
إِلَّآ
illa
but
أُمَمٌ
umamun
(are) communities
أَمۡثَالُكُمۚ
amthalukum
like you
مَّا
ma
Not
فَرَّطۡنَا
farratna
We have neglected
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
al-kitabi
the Book
مِن
min
[of]
شَيۡءٖۚ
shayin
anything
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
رَبِّهِمۡ
rabbihim
their Lord
يُحۡشَرُونَ
yuh'sharuna
they will be gathered
٣٨
6:39
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
And those who
كَذَّبُواْ
kadhabu
rejected
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
biayatina
Our Verses
صُمّٞ
summun
(are) deaf
وَبُكۡمٞ
wabuk'mun
and dumb
فِي
fi
in
ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِۗ
al-zulumati
the darkness[es]
مَن
man
Whoever
يَشَإِ
yasha-i
wills
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
يُضۡلِلۡهُ
yud'lil'hu
He lets him go astray
وَمَن
waman
and whoever
يَشَأۡ
yasha
He wills
يَجۡعَلۡهُ
yaj'alhu
He places him
عَلَىٰ
ala
on
صِرَٰطٖ
siratin
(the) way
مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ
mus'taqimin
(the) straight
٣٩
6:40
قُلۡ
qul
Say
أَرَءَيۡتَكُمۡ
ara-aytakum
Have you seen
إِنۡ
in
if
أَتَىٰكُمۡ
atakum
(there) came to you
عَذَابُ
adhabu
punishment
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
أَوۡ
aw
or
أَتَتۡكُمُ
atatkumu
(there) came to you
ٱلسَّاعَةُ
al-sa'atu
the Hour
أَغَيۡرَ
aghayra
is it other
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(than) Allah
تَدۡعُونَ
tad'una
you call
إِن
in
if
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
you are
صَٰدِقِينَ
sadiqina
truthful
٤٠
6:41
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
إِيَّاهُ
iyyahu
Him Alone
تَدۡعُونَ
tad'una
you call
فَيَكۡشِفُ
fayakshifu
and He would remove
مَا
ma
what
تَدۡعُونَ
tad'una
you call
إِلَيۡهِ
ilayhi
upon Him
إِن
in
if
شَآءَ
shaa
He wills
وَتَنسَوۡنَ
watansawna
and you will forget
مَا
ma
what
تُشۡرِكُونَ
tush'rikuna
you associate (with Him)
٤١
6:42
وَلَقَدۡ
walaqad
And certainly
أَرۡسَلۡنَآ
arsalna
We sent (Messengers)
إِلَىٰٓ
ila
to
أُمَمٖ
umamin
nations
مِّن
min
from
قَبۡلِكَ
qablika
before you
فَأَخَذۡنَٰهُم
fa-akhadhnahum
then We seized them
بِٱلۡبَأۡسَآءِ
bil-basai
with adversity
وَٱلضَّرَّآءِ
wal-darai
and hardship
لَعَلَّهُمۡ
la'allahum
so that they may
يَتَضَرَّعُونَ
yatadarra'una
humble themselves
٤٢
6:43
فَلَوۡلَآ
falawla
Then why not
إِذۡ
idh
when
جَآءَهُم
jaahum
came to them
بَأۡسُنَا
basuna
Our punishment
تَضَرَّعُواْ
tadarra'u
they humbled themselves
وَلَٰكِن
walakin
But
قَسَتۡ
qasat
became hardened
قُلُوبُهُمۡ
qulubuhum
their hearts
وَزَيَّنَ
wazayyana
and made fair-seeming
لَهُمُ
lahumu
to them
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ
al-shaytanu
the Shaitaan
مَا
ma
what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used to
يَعۡمَلُونَ
ya'maluna
do
٤٣
6:44
فَلَمَّا
falamma
So when
نَسُواْ
nasu
they forgot
مَا
ma
what
ذُكِّرُواْ
dhukkiru
they were reminded
بِهِۦ
bihi
of [it]
فَتَحۡنَا
fatahna
We opened
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
alayhim
on them
أَبۡوَٰبَ
abwaba
gates
كُلِّ
kulli
(of) every
شَيۡءٍ
shayin
thing
حَتَّىٰٓ
hatta
until
إِذَا
idha
when
فَرِحُواْ
farihu
they rejoiced
بِمَآ
bima
in what
أُوتُوٓاْ
utu
they were given
أَخَذۡنَٰهُم
akhadhnahum
We seized them
بَغۡتَةٗ
baghtatan
suddenly
فَإِذَا
fa-idha
and then
هُم
hum
they
مُّبۡلِسُونَ
mub'lisuna
(were) dumbfounded

فَقُطِعَ
faquti'a
So was cut off
دَابِرُ
dabiru
(the) remnant
ٱلۡقَوۡمِ
al-qawmi
(of) the people
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
[those] who
ظَلَمُواْۚ
zalamu
did wrong
وَٱلۡحَمۡدُ
wal-hamdu
And all praises and thanks
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
(be) to Allah
رَبِّ
rabbi
Lord
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
al-'alamina
(of) the worlds
٤٥
6:46
قُلۡ
qul
Say
أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ
ara-aytum
Have you seen
إِنۡ
in
if
أَخَذَ
akhadha
took away
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
سَمۡعَكُمۡ
sam'akum
your hearing
وَأَبۡصَٰرَكُمۡ
wa-absarakum
and your sight
وَخَتَمَ
wakhatama
and sealed
عَلَىٰ
ala
[on]
قُلُوبِكُم
qulubikum
your hearts
مَّنۡ
man
who
إِلَٰهٌ
ilahun
(is the) god
غَيۡرُ
ghayru
other than
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
يَأۡتِيكُم
yatikum
to bring [back] to you
بِهِۗ
bihi
with it
ٱنظُرۡ
unzur
See
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
نُصَرِّفُ
nusarrifu
We explain
ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ
al-ayati
the Signs
ثُمَّ
thumma
yet
هُمۡ
hum
they
يَصۡدِفُونَ
yasdifuna
turn away
٤٦
6:47
قُلۡ
qul
Say
أَرَءَيۡتَكُمۡ
ara-aytakum
Have you seen
إِنۡ
in
if
أَتَىٰكُمۡ
atakum
comes to you
عَذَابُ
adhabu
punishment
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
بَغۡتَةً
baghtatan
suddenly
أَوۡ
aw
or
جَهۡرَةً
jahratan
openly
هَلۡ
hal
will
يُهۡلَكُ
yuh'laku
(any) be destroyed
إِلَّا
illa
except
ٱلۡقَوۡمُ
al-qawmu
the people
ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
al-zalimuna
the wrongdoers
٤٧
6:48
وَمَا
wama
And not
نُرۡسِلُ
nur'silu
We send
ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
al-mur'salina
the Messengers
إِلَّا
illa
except
مُبَشِّرِينَ
mubashirina
(as) bearer of glad tidings
وَمُنذِرِينَۖ
wamundhirina
and (as) warners
فَمَنۡ
faman
So whoever
ءَامَنَ
amana
believed
وَأَصۡلَحَ
wa-aslaha
and reformed
فَلَا
fala
then no
خَوۡفٌ
khawfun
fear
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
alayhim
upon them
وَلَا
wala
and not
هُمۡ
hum
they
يَحۡزَنُونَ
yahzanuna
will grieve
٤٨
6:49
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
And those who
كَذَّبُواْ
kadhabu
denied
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
biayatina
[in] Our Verses
يَمَسُّهُمُ
yamassuhumu
will touch them
ٱلۡعَذَابُ
al-'adhabu
the punishment
بِمَا
bima
for what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used to
يَفۡسُقُونَ
yafsuquna
defiantly disobey
٤٩
6:50
قُل
qul
Say
لَّآ
la
Not
أَقُولُ
aqulu
(do) I say
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
عِندِي
indi
(that) with me
خَزَآئِنُ
khazainu
(are the) treasures
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَلَآ
wala
and not
أَعۡلَمُ
a'lamu
(that) I know
ٱلۡغَيۡبَ
al-ghayba
the unseen
وَلَآ
wala
and not
أَقُولُ
aqulu
I say
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
إِنِّي
inni
that I (am)
مَلَكٌۖ
malakun
an Angel
إِنۡ
in
Not
أَتَّبِعُ
attabi'u
(do) I follow
إِلَّا
illa
except
مَا
ma
what
يُوحَىٰٓ
yuha
is revealed
إِلَيَّۚ
ilayya
to me
قُلۡ
qul
Say
هَلۡ
hal
Can
يَسۡتَوِي
yastawi
be equal
ٱلۡأَعۡمَىٰ
al-a'ma
the blind
وَٱلۡبَصِيرُۚ
wal-basiru
and the seeing one
أَفَلَا
afala
Then will not
تَتَفَكَّرُونَ
tatafakkaruna
you give thought
