وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ

لَهُۥ

for Him
وَلَدٞ

a son
وَلَمۡ
wa-lam
while not
تَكُن

(there) is
لَّهُۥ

for Him
صَٰحِبَةٞۖ
ṣaaḥibah?
a companion
وَخَلَقَ
Wa-khalaq̣a
and He created
كُلَّ
kulla
every
شَيۡءٖۖ
shayʹ,
thing
وَهُوَ
wa-Huwa
And He
بِكُلِّ
bikulli
(is) of every
شَيۡءٍ
shayʹin
thing
عَلِيمٞ
ʻAleem.

ذَٰلِكُمُ
Ẓaalikumul
That
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
(is) Allah
رَبُّكُمۡۖ
Rabbukum!
your Lord
لَآ
Laaa
(there is) no
إِلَٰهَ
ʹilaaha
god
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
هُوَۖ
Hoo.
Him
خَٰلِقُ
khaaliq̣u
(the) Creator
كُلِّ
kulli
(of) every
شَيۡءٖ
shayʹiñ
thing
فَٱعۡبُدُوهُۚ
faʻbudooh;
so worship Him
وَهُوَ
wa-Huwa
And He
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
(is) on
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شَيۡءٖ
shayʹiñw
thing
وَكِيلٞ
Wakeel.
a Guardian
١٠٢
6:103
لَّا
Laa
Not (can)
تُدۡرِكُهُ
tudrikuhul
grasp Him
ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرُ
ʹabṣaaru.
the visions
وَهُوَ
wa-Huwa
but He
يُدۡرِكُ
yudrikul
(can) grasp
ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرَۖ
ʹabṣaar:
(all) the vision
وَهُوَ
wa-Huwal
and He (is)
ٱللَّطِيفُ
Laṭeeful
the All-Subtle
ٱلۡخَبِيرُ
Khabeer.
the All-Aware
١٠٣
6:104
قَدۡ
Q̣ad
Verily
جَآءَكُم
jaaaʹakum̃
has come to you
بَصَآئِرُ
baṣaaaʹiru
enlightenment
مِن
mir
from
رَّبِّكُمۡۖ
rabbikum:
your Lord
فَمَنۡ
faman
Then whoever
أَبۡصَرَ
ʹabṣara
sees
فَلِنَفۡسِهِۦۖ
falinafsih:
then (it is) for his soul
وَمَنۡ
wa-man
and whoever
عَمِيَ
ʻamiya
(is) blind
فَعَلَيۡهَاۚ
faʻalayhaa:
then (it is) against himself
وَمَآ
wa-maaa
And not
أَنَا۠
ʹana
(am) I
عَلَيۡكُم
ʻalaykum̃
over you
بِحَفِيظٖ
biḥafeez̤̣.
a guardian
١٠٤
6:105
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
Wa-kaẓaalika
And thus
نُصَرِّفُ
nuṣarriful
We explain
ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ
ʹAayaati
the Signs
وَلِيَقُولُواْ
wa-liyaq̣ooloo
that they (may) say
دَرَسۡتَ
darasta
You have studied
وَلِنُبَيِّنَهُۥ
wa-li-nubayyi-nahoo.
and that We (may) make it clear
لِقَوۡمٖ
liq̣awmiñy
for a people
يَعۡلَمُونَ
yaʻlamoon.
who know
١٠٥
6:106
ٱتَّبِعۡ
ʹIttabiʻ
Follow
مَآ
maaa
what
أُوحِيَ
ʹooḥiya
has been inspired
إِلَيۡكَ
ʹilayka
to you
مِن
mir
from
رَّبِّكَۖ
Rabbik:
your Lord
لَآ
Laaa
(there is) no
إِلَٰهَ
ʹilaaha
god
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
هُوَۖ
Hoo:
Him
وَأَعۡرِضۡ
wa-ʹaʻriḍ
and turn away
عَنِ
ʻanil
from
ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ
mushrikeen.
the polytheists
١٠٦
6:107
وَلَوۡ
Wa-law
And if
شَآءَ
shaaaʹal
(had) willed
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
مَآ
maaa
not (they would have)
أَشۡرَكُواْۗ
ʹashrakoo:
associated partners (with Him)
وَمَا
wa-maa
And not
جَعَلۡنَٰكَ
jaʻalnaaka
We have made you
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
over them
حَفِيظٗاۖ
ḥafeez̤̣aa,
a guardian
وَمَآ
wa-maaa
and not
أَنتَ
ʹañta
you
عَلَيۡهِم
ʻalayhim̃
(are) over them
بِوَكِيلٖ
biwakeel.
a manager
١٠٧
6:108
وَلَا
Wa-laa
And (do) not
تَسُبُّواْ
tasubbul
insult
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those whom
يَدۡعُونَ
yadʻoona
they invoke
مِن
miñ
from
دُونِ
doonil
other than
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
فَيَسُبُّواْ
fayasubbul
lest they insult
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
عَدۡوَۢا
ʻadwam
(in) enmity
بِغَيۡرِ
big̣ayri
without
عِلۡمٖۗ
ʻilm.
knowledge
كَذَٰلِكَ
Kaẓaalika
Thus
زَيَّنَّا
zayyannaa
We have made fair-seeming
لِكُلِّ
likulli
to every
أُمَّةٍ
ʹummatin
community
عَمَلَهُمۡ
ʻamalahum.
their deed
ثُمَّ
S̤umma
Then
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
رَبِّهِم
Rabbihim
their Lord
مَّرۡجِعُهُمۡ
marjiʻuhum
(is) their return
فَيُنَبِّئُهُم
fayunabbiʹuhum̃
then He will inform them
بِمَا
bimaa
about what
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they used to
يَعۡمَلُونَ
yaʻmaloon.
do
١٠٨
6:109
وَأَقۡسَمُواْ
Wa-ʹaq̣samoo
And they swear
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
by Allah
جَهۡدَ
jahda
strongest
أَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ
ʹaymaanihim
(of) their oaths
لَئِن
laʹiñ
that if
جَآءَتۡهُمۡ
jaaaʹathum
came to them
ءَايَةٞ
ʹAayatul
a sign
لَّيُؤۡمِنُنَّ
layuʹminunna
they would surely believe
بِهَاۚ
bihaa.
in it
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
إِنَّمَا
ʹinnamal
Only
ٱلۡأٓيَٰتُ
ʹAayaatu
the signs
عِندَ
ʻindal
(are) with
ٱللَّهِۖ
laahi
Allah
وَمَا
wa-maa
And what
يُشۡعِرُكُمۡ
yushʻirukum
will make you perceive
أَنَّهَآ
ʹannahaaa
that [it]
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
when
جَآءَتۡ
jaaaʹat
it comes
لَا
laa
not
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yuʹminoon?
they will believe
١٠٩
6:110
وَنُقَلِّبُ
Wa-nuq̣allibu
And We will turn
أَفۡـِٔدَتَهُمۡ
ʹafʹidatahum
their hearts
وَأَبۡصَٰرَهُمۡ
wa-ʹabṣaarahum
and their sights
كَمَا
kamaa
(just) as
لَمۡ
lam
not
يُؤۡمِنُواْ
yuʹminoo
they believe
بِهِۦٓ
biheee
in it
أَوَّلَ
ʹawwala
(the) first
مَرَّةٖ
marratiñ
time
وَنَذَرُهُمۡ
wa-naẓaruhum
And We will leave them
فِي
fee
in
طُغۡيَٰنِهِمۡ
ṭug̣yaanihim
their transgression
يَعۡمَهُونَ
yaʻmahoon.
wandering blindly
١١٠

6:111
۞وَلَوۡ
Wa-law
And (even) if
أَنَّنَا
ʹannanaa
[that] We (had)
نَزَّلۡنَآ
nazzal-naaa
[We] sent down
إِلَيۡهِمُ
ʹilayhimul
to them
ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ
malaaaʹikata
the Angels
وَكَلَّمَهُمُ
wa-kallamahumul
and spoken to them
ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ
mawtaa
the dead
وَحَشَرۡنَا
waḥasharnaa
and We gathered
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
before them
كُلَّ
kulla
every
شَيۡءٖ
shayʹiñ
thing
قُبُلٗا
q̣ubulam
face to face
مَّا
maa
not
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they were
لِيُؤۡمِنُوٓاْ
liyuʹminooo
to believe
إِلَّآ
ʹillaaa
unless
أَن
ʹañy
[that]
يَشَآءَ
yashaaaʹal
wills
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
وَلَٰكِنَّ
wa-laakinna
But
أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ
ʹaks̤arahum
most of them
يَجۡهَلُونَ
yajhaloon.
(are) ignorant
١١١
6:112
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
Wa-kaẓaalika
And thus
جَعَلۡنَا
jaʻalnaa
We made
لِكُلِّ
likulli
for every
نَبِيٍّ
nabiyyin
Prophet
عَدُوّٗا
ʻaduwwañ
an enemy
شَيَٰطِينَ
shayaaṭeenal
devils
ٱلۡإِنسِ
ʹiñsi
(from) the mankind
وَٱلۡجِنِّ
waljinni
and the jinn
يُوحِي
yooḥee
inspiring
بَعۡضُهُمۡ
baʻḍuhum
some of them
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
بَعۡضٖ
baʻḍiñ
others
زُخۡرُفَ
zukhrufal
(with) decorative
ٱلۡقَوۡلِ
q̣awli
[the] speech
غُرُورٗاۚ
g̣urooraa.
(in) deception
وَلَوۡ
Wa-law
But if
شَآءَ
shaaaʹa
(had) willed
رَبُّكَ
Rabbuka
your Lord
مَا
maa-
not
فَعَلُوهُۖ
faʻaloohu
they (would) have done it
فَذَرۡهُمۡ
faẓarhum
so leave them
وَمَا
wa-maa
and what
يَفۡتَرُونَ
yaftaroon.
they invent
١١٢
6:113
وَلِتَصۡغَىٰٓ
Walitaṣg̣aaa
And so that incline
إِلَيۡهِ
ʹilayhi
to it
أَفۡـِٔدَةُ
ʹafʹidatul
hearts
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
(of) those who
لَا
laa-
(do) not
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yuʹminoona
believe
بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ
bil-ʹAakhirati
in the Hereafter
وَلِيَرۡضَوۡهُ
wa-liyarḍawhu
and so that they may be pleased with it
وَلِيَقۡتَرِفُواْ
waliyaq̣tarifoo
and so that they may commit
مَا
maa-
what
هُم
hum
they
مُّقۡتَرِفُونَ
muq̣tarifoon.
(are) committing
١١٣
6:114
أَفَغَيۡرَ
ʹAfag̣ayral
Then is (it) other than
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
أَبۡتَغِي
ʹabtag̣ee
I seek
حَكَمٗا
ḥakamañw
(as) judge
وَهُوَ
wa-Huwal
while He
ٱلَّذِيٓ
laẓeee
(is) the One Who
أَنزَلَ
ʹañzala
has revealed
إِلَيۡكُمُ
ʹilaykumul
to you
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
Kitaaba
the Book
مُفَصَّلٗاۚ
mufaṣṣalaa?
explained in detail
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
And those (to) whom
ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمُ
ʹaataynaahumul
We gave them
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
Kitaaba
the Book
يَعۡلَمُونَ
yaʻlamoona
they know
أَنَّهُۥ
ʹannahoo
that it
مُنَزَّلٞ
munazzalum
(is) sent down
مِّن
mir
from
رَّبِّكَ
Rabbika
your Lord
بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ
bilḥaq̣q̣i
in truth
فَلَا
falaa
so (do) not
تَكُونَنَّ
takoonanna
be
مِنَ
minal
among
ٱلۡمُمۡتَرِينَ
mumtareen.
the ones who doubt
١١٤
6:115
وَتَمَّتۡ
Wa-tammat
And (has been) fulfilled
كَلِمَتُ
kalimatu
(the) word
رَبِّكَ
Rabbika
(of) your Lord
صِدۡقٗا
ṣidq̣añw
(in) truth
وَعَدۡلٗاۚ
waʻadlaa:
and justice
لَّا
laa-
No
مُبَدِّلَ
mubaddila
one can change
لِكَلِمَٰتِهِۦۚ
li-Kalimaatih:
His words
وَهُوَ
wa-Huwas
and He
ٱلسَّمِيعُ
Sameeʻul
(is) the All-Hearer
ٱلۡعَلِيمُ
ʻAleem.
the All-Knower
١١٥
6:116
وَإِن
Wa-ʹiñ
And if
تُطِعۡ
tuṭiʻ
you obey
أَكۡثَرَ
ʹaks̤ara
most
مَن
mañ
of
فِي
fil
(those) in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
يُضِلُّوكَ
yuḍillooka
they will mislead you
عَن
ʻañ
from
سَبِيلِ
Sabeelil
(the) way
ٱللَّهِۚ
laah.
(of) Allah
إِن
ʹIñy
Not
يَتَّبِعُونَ
yattabiʻoona
they follow
إِلَّا
ʹillaz̤̣
except
ٱلظَّنَّ
z̤̣anna
[the] assumption
وَإِنۡ
wa-ʹin
and not
هُمۡ
hum
they (do)
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
يَخۡرُصُونَ
yakhruṣoon.
guess
١١٦
6:117
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
رَبَّكَ
Rabbaka
your Lord
هُوَ
Huwa
He
أَعۡلَمُ
ʹaʻlamu
knows best
مَن
mañy
who
يَضِلُّ
yaḍillu
strays
عَن
ʻañ
from
سَبِيلِهِۦۖ
Sabeelih;
His way
وَهُوَ
wa-Huwa
and He
أَعۡلَمُ
ʹaʻlamu
(is) most knowing
بِٱلۡمُهۡتَدِينَ
bil-Muhtadeen.
of the guided-ones
١١٧
6:118
فَكُلُواْ
Fakuloo
So eat
مِمَّا
mimmaa
of what
ذُكِرَ
ẓukiras
(is) mentioned
ٱسۡمُ
mul
(the) name
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
on it
إِن
ʹiñ
if
كُنتُم
kuñtum̃
you are
بِـَٔايَٰتِهِۦ
biʹAayaatihee
in His Verses
مُؤۡمِنِينَ
muʹmineen.
believers
١١٨

6:119
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And what
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
أَلَّا
ʹallaa
that not
تَأۡكُلُواْ
taʹkuloo
you eat
مِمَّا
mimmaa
of what
ذُكِرَ
ẓukiras
has been mentioned
ٱسۡمُ
mul
(the) name
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
on it
وَقَدۡ
wa-q̣ad
when indeed
فَصَّلَ
faṣṣala
He (has) explained in detail
لَكُم
lakum
to you
مَّا
maa
what
حَرَّمَ
ḥarrama
He (has) forbidden
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
ʻalaykum
to you
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
مَا
maḍ
what
ٱضۡطُرِرۡتُمۡ
ṭurirtum
you are compelled
إِلَيۡهِۗ
ʹilayh?
to it
وَإِنَّ
Wa-ʹinna
And indeed
كَثِيرٗا
kas̤eeral
many
لَّيُضِلُّونَ
layuḍilloona
surely lead astray
بِأَهۡوَآئِهِم
biʹahwaaaʹihim̃
by their (vain) desires
بِغَيۡرِ
big̣ayri
without
عِلۡمٍۚ
ʻilm.
knowledge
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
رَبَّكَ
Rabbaka
your Lord
هُوَ
Huwa
He
أَعۡلَمُ
ʹaʻlamu
(is) most knowing
بِٱلۡمُعۡتَدِينَ
bilmuʻtadeen.
of the transgressors
١١٩
6:120
وَذَرُواْ
Waẓaroo
Forsake
ظَٰهِرَ
z̤̣aahiral
open
ٱلۡإِثۡمِ
ʹis̤mi
[the] sins
وَبَاطِنَهُۥٓۚ
wa-baaṭinah:
and the secret
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
يَكۡسِبُونَ
yaksiboonal
earn
ٱلۡإِثۡمَ
ʹis̤ma
[the] sin
سَيُجۡزَوۡنَ
sayujzawna
they will be recompensed
بِمَا
bimaa
for what
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they used to
يَقۡتَرِفُونَ
yaq̣tarifoon.
commit
١٢٠
6:121
وَلَا
Wa-laa
And (do) not
تَأۡكُلُواْ
taʹkuloo
eat
مِمَّا
mimmaa
of that
لَمۡ
lam
not
يُذۡكَرِ
yuẓkaris
has been mentioned
ٱسۡمُ
mul
(the) name
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
on it
وَإِنَّهُۥ
wa-ʹinnahoo
and indeed it (is)
لَفِسۡقٞۗ
lafisq̣.
grave disobedience
وَإِنَّ
Wa-ʹinnash
And indeed
ٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ
shayaaṭeena
the devils
لَيُوحُونَ
layooḥoona
inspire
إِلَىٰٓ
ʹilaaa
to
أَوۡلِيَآئِهِمۡ
ʹawliyaaaʹihim
their friends
لِيُجَٰدِلُوكُمۡۖ
liyujaadilookum.
so that they dispute with you
وَإِنۡ
Wa-ʹin
and if
أَطَعۡتُمُوهُمۡ
ʹaṭaʻtumoohum
you obey them
إِنَّكُمۡ
ʹinnakum
indeed you
لَمُشۡرِكُونَ
lamushrikoon.
(would) be the polytheists
١٢١
6:122
أَوَمَن
ʹA-wamañ
Is (one) who
كَانَ
kaana
was
مَيۡتٗا
maytañ
dead
فَأَحۡيَيۡنَٰهُ
faʹaḥyaynaahu
and We gave him life
وَجَعَلۡنَا
wa-jaʻalnaa
and We made
لَهُۥ
lahoo
for him
نُورٗا
Noorañy
light
يَمۡشِي
yamshee
he walks
بِهِۦ
bihee
whereby
فِي
fin
among
ٱلنَّاسِ
naasi
the people
كَمَن
kamam
like (one) who
مَّثَلُهُۥ
mas̤aluhoo
[similar to him]
فِي
fiz̤̣
(is) in
ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ
z̤̣ulumaati
the darknesses
لَيۡسَ
laysa
not
بِخَارِجٖ
bikhaarijim
he comes out
مِّنۡهَاۚ
minhaa?
of it
كَذَٰلِكَ
Kaẓaalika
Thus
زُيِّنَ
zuyyina
is made fair-seeming
لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
lilkaafireena
to the disbelievers
مَا
maa-
what
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they were
يَعۡمَلُونَ
yaʻmaloon.
doing
١٢٢
6:123
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
Wa-kaẓaalika
And thus
جَعَلۡنَا
jaʻalnaa
We placed
فِي
fee
in
كُلِّ
kulli
every
قَرۡيَةٍ
q̣aryatin
city
أَكَٰبِرَ
ʹakaabira
greatest
مُجۡرِمِيهَا
mujrimeehaa
(of) its criminals
لِيَمۡكُرُواْ
liyamkuroo
so that they plot
فِيهَاۖ
feehaa;
therein
وَمَا
wa-maa
And not
يَمۡكُرُونَ
yamkuroona
they plot
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
بِأَنفُسِهِمۡ
biʹañfusihim
against themselves
وَمَا
wa-maa
and not
يَشۡعُرُونَ
yashʻuroon.
they perceive
١٢٣
6:124
وَإِذَا
Wa-ʹiẓaa
And when
جَآءَتۡهُمۡ
jaaaʹathum
comes to them
ءَايَةٞ
ʹAayatuñ
a Sign
قَالُواْ
q̣aaloo
they say
لَن
lan
Never
نُّؤۡمِنَ
nuʹmina
we will believe
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
نُؤۡتَىٰ
nuʹtaa
we are given
مِثۡلَ
mis̤la
like
مَآ
maaa
what
أُوتِيَ
ʹootiya
was given
رُسُلُ
rusulul
(to the) Messengers
ٱللَّهِۘ
laah.
(of) Allah
ٱللَّهُ
ʹAllaahu
Allah
أَعۡلَمُ
ʹaʻlamu
knows best
حَيۡثُ
ḥays̤u
where
يَجۡعَلُ
yajʻalu
He places
رِسَالَتَهُۥۗ
Risaalatah.
His Message
سَيُصِيبُ
Sayuṣeebul
Will afflict
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
أَجۡرَمُواْ
ʹajramoo
committed crimes
صَغَارٌ
ṣag̣aarun
a humiliation
عِندَ
ʻiñdal
from
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
وَعَذَابٞ
wa-ʻaẓaabuñ
and a punishment
شَدِيدُۢ
shadeedum
severe
بِمَا
bimaa
for what
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they used to
يَمۡكُرُونَ
yamkuroon.

فَمَن
Famañy
So whoever
يُرِدِ
yuridil
wants
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
أَن
ʹañy
that
يَهۡدِيَهُۥ
yahdiyahoo
He guides him
يَشۡرَحۡ
yashraḥ
He expands
صَدۡرَهُۥ
ṣadrahoo
his breast
لِلۡإِسۡلَٰمِۖ
lil-ʹIslaam;
to Islam
وَمَن
wa-mañy
and whoever
يُرِدۡ
yurid
He wants
أَن
ʹañy
that
يُضِلَّهُۥ
yuḍillahoo
He lets him go astray
يَجۡعَلۡ
yajʻal
He makes
صَدۡرَهُۥ
ṣadrahoo
his breast
ضَيِّقًا
ḍayyiq̣an
tight
حَرَجٗا
harajañ
and constricted
كَأَنَّمَا
kaʹannamaa
as though
يَصَّعَّدُ
yaṣṣaʻʻadu
he (were) climbing
فِي
fis
into
ٱلسَّمَآءِۚ
samaaaʹ.
the sky
كَذَٰلِكَ
Kaẓaalika
Thus
يَجۡعَلُ
yajʻalul
places
ٱللَّهُ
laahur
Allah
ٱلرِّجۡسَ
rijsa
the filth
عَلَى
ʻalal
on
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
