Indeed
سَمِعَ

Allah has heard
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah has heard
قَوۡلَ
qawla
(the) speech
ٱلَّتِي
allati
(of one) who
تُجَٰدِلُكَ
tujadiluka
disputes with you
فِي
fi
concerning
زَوۡجِهَا
zawjiha
her husband
وَتَشۡتَكِيٓ
watashtaki
and she directs her complaint
إِلَى
ila
to
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
يَسۡمَعُ
yasma'u
hears
تَحَاوُرَكُمَآۚ
tahawurakuma
(the) dialogue of both of you
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
سَمِيعُۢ
sami'un
(is) All-Hearer
بَصِيرٌ
basirun
All-Seer
١
58:2
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
Those who
يُظَٰهِرُونَ
yuzahiruna
pronounce zihar
مِنكُم
minkum
among you
مِّن
min
[from]
نِّسَآئِهِم
nisaihim
(to) their wives
مَّا
ma
not
هُنَّ
hunna
they
أُمَّهَٰتِهِمۡۖ
ummahatihim
(are) their mothers
إِنۡ
in
Not
أُمَّهَٰتُهُمۡ
ummahatuhum
(are) their mothers
إِلَّا
illa
except
ٱلَّٰٓـِٔي
allai
those who
وَلَدۡنَهُمۡۚ
waladnahum
gave them birth
وَإِنَّهُمۡ
wa-innahum
And indeed they
لَيَقُولُونَ
layaquluna
surely say
مُنكَرٗا
munkaran
an evil
مِّنَ
mina
[of]
ٱلۡقَوۡلِ
al-qawli
[the] word
وَزُورٗاۚ
wazuran
and a lie
وَإِنَّ
wa-inna
But indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
لَعَفُوٌّ
la'afuwwun
(is) surely Oft-Pardoning
غَفُورٞ
ghafurun
Oft-Forgiving
٢
58:3
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
And those who
يُظَٰهِرُونَ
yuzahiruna
pronounce zihar
مِن
min
[from]
نِّسَآئِهِمۡ
nisaihim
(to) their wives
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
يَعُودُونَ
ya'uduna
go back
لِمَا
lima
on what
قَالُواْ
qalu
they said
فَتَحۡرِيرُ
fatahriru
then freeing
رَقَبَةٖ
raqabatin
(of) a slave
مِّن
min
before
قَبۡلِ
qabli
before
أَن
an
[that]
يَتَمَآسَّاۚ
yatamassa
they touch each other
ذَٰلِكُمۡ
dhalikum
That
تُوعَظُونَ
tu'azuna
you are admonished
بِهِۦۚ
bihi
to it
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
بِمَا
bima
of what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
ta'maluna
you do
خَبِيرٞ
khabirun
(is) All-Aware
٣
58:4
فَمَن
faman
Then whoever
لَّمۡ
lam
(does) not
يَجِدۡ
yajid
find
فَصِيَامُ
fasiyamu
then fasting
شَهۡرَيۡنِ
shahrayni
(for) two months
مُتَتَابِعَيۡنِ
mutatabi'ayni
consecutively
مِن
min
before
قَبۡلِ
qabli
before
أَن
an
[that]
يَتَمَآسَّاۖ
yatamassa
they both touch each other
فَمَن
faman
But (he) who
لَّمۡ
lam
not
يَسۡتَطِعۡ
yastati'
is able
فَإِطۡعَامُ
fa-it'amu
then (the) feeding
سِتِّينَ
sittina
(of) sixty
مِسۡكِينٗاۚ
mis'kinan
needy one(s)
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
لِتُؤۡمِنُواْ
litu'minu
so that you may believe
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦۚ
warasulihi
and His Messenger
وَتِلۡكَ
watil'ka
and these
حُدُودُ
hududu
(are the) limits
ٱللَّهِۗ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَلِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
walil'kafirina
and for the disbelievers
عَذَابٌ
adhabun
(is) a punishment
أَلِيمٌ
alimun
painful
٤
58:5
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
يُحَآدُّونَ
yuhadduna
oppose
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ
warasulahu
and His Messenger
كُبِتُواْ
kubitu
(will) be disgraced
كَمَا
kama
as
كُبِتَ
kubita
were disgraced
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those
مِن
min
before them
قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ
qablihim
before them
وَقَدۡ
waqad
And certainly
أَنزَلۡنَآ
anzalna
We have sent down
ءَايَٰتِۭ
ayatin
Verses
بَيِّنَٰتٖۚ
bayyinatin
clear
وَلِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
walil'kafirina
And for the disbelievers
عَذَابٞ
adhabun
(is) a punishment
مُّهِينٞ
muhinun
humiliating
٥
58:6
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(On the) Day
يَبۡعَثُهُمُ
yab'athuhumu
(when) Allah will raise them
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(when) Allah will raise them
جَمِيعٗا
jami'an
all
فَيُنَبِّئُهُم
fayunabbi-uhum
and inform them
بِمَا
bima
of what
عَمِلُوٓاْۚ
amilu
they did
أَحۡصَىٰهُ
ahsahu
Allah has recorded it
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah has recorded it
وَنَسُوهُۚ
wanasuhu
while they forgot it
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
عَلَىٰ
ala
(is) over
كُلِّ
kulli
all
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
things
شَهِيدٌ
shahidun
a Witness

أَلَمۡ
alam
Do not
تَرَ
tara
you see
أَنَّ
anna
that
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
ya'lamu
knows
مَا
ma
whatever
فِي
fi
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَمَا
wama
and whatever
فِي
fi
(is) in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ
al-ardi
the earth
مَا
ma
Not
يَكُونُ
yakunu
there is
مِن
min
any
نَّجۡوَىٰ
najwa
secret counsel
ثَلَٰثَةٍ
thalathatin
(of) three
إِلَّا
illa
but
هُوَ
huwa
He (is)
رَابِعُهُمۡ
rabi'uhum
(the) fourth of them
وَلَا
wala
and not
خَمۡسَةٍ
khamsatin
five
إِلَّا
illa
but
هُوَ
huwa
He (is)
سَادِسُهُمۡ
sadisuhum
(the) sixth of them
وَلَآ
wala
and not
أَدۡنَىٰ
adna
less
مِن
min
than
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
that
وَلَآ
wala
and not
أَكۡثَرَ
akthara
more
إِلَّا
illa
but
هُوَ
huwa
He
مَعَهُمۡ
ma'ahum
(is) with them
أَيۡنَ
ayna
wherever
مَا
ma
wherever
كَانُواْۖ
kanu
they are
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
يُنَبِّئُهُم
yunabbi-uhum
He will inform them
بِمَا
bima
of what
عَمِلُواْ
amilu
they did
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(on the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۚ
al-qiyamati
(of) the Resurrection
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
بِكُلِّ
bikulli
of every
شَيۡءٍ
shayin
thing
عَلِيمٌ
alimun
(is) All-Knower
٧
58:8
أَلَمۡ
alam
Do not
تَرَ
tara
you see
إِلَى
ila
[to]
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
نُهُواْ
nuhu
were forbidden
عَنِ
ani
from
ٱلنَّجۡوَىٰ
al-najwa
secret counsels
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
يَعُودُونَ
ya'uduna
they return
لِمَا
lima
to what
نُهُواْ
nuhu
they were forbidden
عَنۡهُ
anhu
from [it]
وَيَتَنَٰجَوۡنَ
wayatanajawna
and they hold secret counsels
بِٱلۡإِثۡمِ
bil-ith'mi
for sin
وَٱلۡعُدۡوَٰنِ
wal-'ud'wani
and aggression
وَمَعۡصِيَتِ
wama'siyati
and disobedience
ٱلرَّسُولِۖ
al-rasuli
(to) the Messenger
وَإِذَا
wa-idha
And when
جَآءُوكَ
jauka
they come to you
حَيَّوۡكَ
hayyawka
they greet you
بِمَا
bima
with what
لَمۡ
lam
not
يُحَيِّكَ
yuhayyika
greets you
بِهِ
bihi
therewith
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
وَيَقُولُونَ
wayaquluna
and they say
فِيٓ
fi
among
أَنفُسِهِمۡ
anfusihim
themselves
لَوۡلَا
lawla
Why (does) not
يُعَذِّبُنَا
yu'adhibuna
Allah punish us
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah punish us
بِمَا
bima
for what
نَقُولُۚ
naqulu
we say
حَسۡبُهُمۡ
hasbuhum
Sufficient (for) them
جَهَنَّمُ
jahannamu
(is) Hell
يَصۡلَوۡنَهَاۖ
yaslawnaha
they will burn in it
فَبِئۡسَ
fabi'sa
and worst is
ٱلۡمَصِيرُ
al-masiru
the destination
٨
58:9
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
O you who believe
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
amanu
O you who believe
إِذَا
idha
When
تَنَٰجَيۡتُمۡ
tanajaytum
you hold secret counsel
فَلَا
fala
then (do) not
تَتَنَٰجَوۡاْ
tatanajaw
hold secret counsel
بِٱلۡإِثۡمِ
bil-ith'mi
for sin
وَٱلۡعُدۡوَٰنِ
wal-'ud'wani
and aggression
وَمَعۡصِيَتِ
wama'siyati
and disobedience
ٱلرَّسُولِ
al-rasuli
(to) the Messenger
وَتَنَٰجَوۡاْ
watanajaw
but hold secret counsel
بِٱلۡبِرِّ
bil-biri
for righteousness
وَٱلتَّقۡوَىٰۖ
wal-taqwa
and piety
وَٱتَّقُواْ
wa-ittaqu
And fear
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
ٱلَّذِيٓ
alladhi
the One Who
إِلَيۡهِ
ilayhi
to Him
تُحۡشَرُونَ
tuh'sharuna
you will be gathered
٩
58:10
إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
ٱلنَّجۡوَىٰ
al-najwa
the secret counsels
مِنَ
mina
(are) from
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِ
al-shaytani
the Shaitaan
لِيَحۡزُنَ
liyahzuna
that he may grieve
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
وَلَيۡسَ
walaysa
but not
بِضَآرِّهِمۡ
bidarrihim
he (can) harm them
شَيۡـًٔا
shayan
(in) anything
إِلَّا
illa
except
بِإِذۡنِ
bi-idh'ni
by Allah's permission
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
by Allah's permission
وَعَلَى
wa'ala
And upon
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ
falyatawakkali
let put (their) trust
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
al-mu'minuna
the believers
١٠
58:11
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
O you who believe
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
amanu
O you who believe
إِذَا
idha
When
قِيلَ
qila
it is said
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
تَفَسَّحُواْ
tafassahu
Make room
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡمَجَٰلِسِ
al-majalisi
the assemblies
فَٱفۡسَحُواْ
fa-if'sahu
then make room
يَفۡسَحِ
yafsahi
Allah will make room
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah will make room
لَكُمۡۖ
lakum
for you
وَإِذَا
wa-idha
And when
قِيلَ
qila
it is said
ٱنشُزُواْ
unshuzu
Rise up
فَٱنشُزُواْ
fa-unshuzu
then rise up
يَرۡفَعِ
yarfa'i
Allah will raise
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah will raise
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
مِنكُمۡ
minkum
among you
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
and those who
أُوتُواْ
utu
were given
ٱلۡعِلۡمَ
al-'il'ma
the knowledge
دَرَجَٰتٖۚ
darajatin
(in) degrees
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
بِمَا
bima
of what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
ta'maluna
you do
خَبِيرٞ
khabirun
(is) All-Aware

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
O you who believe
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
amanu
O you who believe
إِذَا
idha
When
نَٰجَيۡتُمُ
najaytumu
you privately consult
ٱلرَّسُولَ
al-rasula
the Messenger
فَقَدِّمُواْ
faqaddimu
then offer
بَيۡنَ
bayna
before
يَدَيۡ
yaday
before
نَجۡوَىٰكُمۡ
najwakum
your private consultation
صَدَقَةٗۚ
sadaqatan
charity
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
خَيۡرٞ
khayrun
(is) better
لَّكُمۡ
lakum
for you
وَأَطۡهَرُۚ
wa-atharu
and purer
فَإِن
fa-in
But if
لَّمۡ
lam
not
تَجِدُواْ
tajidu
you find
فَإِنَّ
fa-inna
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
غَفُورٞ
ghafurun
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٌ
rahimun
Most Merciful
١٢
58:13
ءَأَشۡفَقۡتُمۡ
a-ashfaqtum
Are you afraid
أَن
an
to
تُقَدِّمُواْ
tuqaddimu
offer
بَيۡنَ
bayna
before
يَدَيۡ
yaday
before
نَجۡوَىٰكُمۡ
najwakum
your private consultation
صَدَقَٰتٖۚ
sadaqatin
charities
فَإِذۡ
fa-idh
Then when
لَمۡ
lam
you do not
تَفۡعَلُواْ
taf 'alu
you do not
وَتَابَ
wataba
and Allah has forgiven
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
and Allah has forgiven
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
alaykum
you
فَأَقِيمُواْ
fa-aqimu
then establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
al-salata
the prayer
وَءَاتُواْ
waatu
and give
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ
al-zakata
the zakah
وَأَطِيعُواْ
wa-ati'u
and obey
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥۚ
warasulahu
and His Messenger
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
خَبِيرُۢ
khabirun
(is) All-Aware
بِمَا
bima
of what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
ta'maluna
you do
١٣
58:14
۞أَلَمۡ
alam
Do not
تَرَ
tara
you see
إِلَى
ila
[to]
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
تَوَلَّوۡاْ
tawallaw
take as allies
قَوۡمًا
qawman
a people
غَضِبَ
ghadiba
wrath
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(of) Allah
عَلَيۡهِم
alayhim
(is) upon them
مَّا
ma
They (are) not
هُم
hum
They (are) not
مِّنكُمۡ
minkum
of you
وَلَا
wala
and not
مِنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
of them
وَيَحۡلِفُونَ
wayahlifuna
and they swear
عَلَى
ala
to
ٱلۡكَذِبِ
al-kadhibi
the lie
وَهُمۡ
wahum
while they
يَعۡلَمُونَ
ya'lamuna
know
١٤
58:15
أَعَدَّ
a'adda
Allah has prepared
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah has prepared
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
عَذَابٗا
adhaban
a punishment
شَدِيدًاۖ
shadidan
severe
إِنَّهُمۡ
innahum
Indeed [they]
سَآءَ
saa
evil is
مَا
ma
what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used to
يَعۡمَلُونَ
ya'maluna
do
١٥
58:16
ٱتَّخَذُوٓاْ
ittakhadhu
They have taken
أَيۡمَٰنَهُمۡ
aymanahum
their oaths
جُنَّةٗ
junnatan
(as) a cover
فَصَدُّواْ
fasaddu
so they hinder
عَن
an
from
سَبِيلِ
sabili
(the) way of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(the) way of Allah
فَلَهُمۡ
falahum
so for them
عَذَابٞ
adhabun
(is) a punishment
مُّهِينٞ
muhinun
humiliating
١٦
58:17
لَّن
lan
Never
تُغۡنِيَ
tugh'niya
will avail
عَنۡهُمۡ
anhum
them
أَمۡوَٰلُهُمۡ
amwaluhum
their wealth
وَلَآ
wala
and not
أَوۡلَٰدُهُم
awladuhum
their children
مِّنَ
mina
against
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
شَيۡـًٔاۚ
shayan
(in) anything
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ashabu
(will be) companions
ٱلنَّارِۖ
al-nari
(of) the Fire
هُمۡ
hum
they
فِيهَا
fiha
in it
خَٰلِدُونَ
khaliduna
will abide forever
١٧
58:18
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(On the) Day
يَبۡعَثُهُمُ
yab'athuhumu
Allah will raise them
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah will raise them
جَمِيعٗا
jami'an
all
فَيَحۡلِفُونَ
fayahlifuna
then they will swear
لَهُۥ
lahu
to Him
كَمَا
kama
as
يَحۡلِفُونَ
yahlifuna
they swear
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
وَيَحۡسَبُونَ
wayahsabuna
And they think
أَنَّهُمۡ
annahum
that they
عَلَىٰ
ala
(are) on
شَيۡءٍۚ
shayin
something
أَلَآ
ala
No doubt
إِنَّهُمۡ
innahum
Indeed they
هُمُ
humu
[they]
ٱلۡكَٰذِبُونَ
al-kadhibuna
(are) the liars
١٨
58:19
ٱسۡتَحۡوَذَ
is'tahwadha
Has overcome
عَلَيۡهِمُ
alayhimu
them
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ
al-shaytanu
the Shaitaan
فَأَنسَىٰهُمۡ
fa-ansahum
so he made them forget
ذِكۡرَ
dhik'ra
(the) remembrance
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
حِزۡبُ
hiz'bu
(are the) party
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِۚ
al-shaytani
(of) the Shaitaan
أَلَآ
ala
No doubt
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
حِزۡبَ
hiz'ba
(the) party
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِ
al-shaytani
(of) the Shaitaan
هُمُ
humu
they
ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ
al-khasiruna
(will be) the losers
١٩
58:20
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
يُحَآدُّونَ
yuhadduna
oppose
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ
warasulahu
and His Messenger
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
those
فِي
fi
(will be) among
ٱلۡأَذَلِّينَ
al-adhalina
the most humiliated
٢٠
58:21
كَتَبَ
kataba
Allah has decreed
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah has decreed
لَأَغۡلِبَنَّ
la-aghlibanna
Surely I will overcome
أَنَا۠
ana
I
وَرُسُلِيٓۚ
warusuli
and My Messengers
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
قَوِيٌّ
qawiyyun
(is) All-Strong
عَزِيزٞ
azizun
All-Mighty

لَّا
la
You will not find
تَجِدُ
tajidu
You will not find
قَوۡمٗا
qawman
a people
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yu'minuna
who believe
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ
wal-yawmi
and the Day
ٱلۡأٓخِرِ
al-akhiri
the Last
يُوَآدُّونَ
yuwadduna
loving
مَنۡ
man
(those) who
حَآدَّ
hadda
oppose
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ
warasulahu
and His Messenger
وَلَوۡ
walaw
even if
كَانُوٓاْ
kanu
they were
ءَابَآءَهُمۡ
abaahum
their fathers
أَوۡ
aw
or
أَبۡنَآءَهُمۡ
abnaahum
their sons
أَوۡ
aw
or
إِخۡوَٰنَهُمۡ
ikh'wanahum
their brothers
أَوۡ
aw
or
عَشِيرَتَهُمۡۚ
ashiratahum
their kindred
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
كَتَبَ
kataba
He has decreed
فِي
fi
within
قُلُوبِهِمُ
qulubihimu
their hearts
ٱلۡإِيمَٰنَ
al-imana
faith
وَأَيَّدَهُم
wa-ayyadahum
and supported them
بِرُوحٖ
biruhin
with a spirit
مِّنۡهُۖ
min'hu
from Him
وَيُدۡخِلُهُمۡ
wayud'khiluhum
And He will admit them
جَنَّٰتٖ
jannatin
(to) Gardens
تَجۡرِي
tajri
flow
مِن
min
from
تَحۡتِهَا
tahtiha
underneath it
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ
al-anharu
the rivers
خَٰلِدِينَ
khalidina
will abide forever
فِيهَاۚ
fiha
in it
رَضِيَ
radiya
Allah is pleased
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah is pleased
عَنۡهُمۡ
anhum
with them
وَرَضُواْ
waradu
and they are pleased
عَنۡهُۚ
anhu
with Him
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
حِزۡبُ
hiz'bu
(are the) party
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
أَلَآ
ala
No doubt
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
حِزۡبَ
hiz'ba
(the) party
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
هُمُ
humu
they
ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ
al-muf'lihuna
(are) the successful ones
