Say
يَٰٓأَهۡلَ
yaaaʹAhlal
O People
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
Kitaabi
(of) the Book
لَا
laa-
(Do) not
تَغۡلُواْ
tag̣loo
exceed
فِي
fee
in
دِينِكُمۡ
Deenikum
your religion
غَيۡرَ
g̣ayral
other than
ٱلۡحَقِّ
ḥaq̣q̣i
the truth
وَلَا
wa-laa
and (do) not
تَتَّبِعُوٓاْ
tattabiʻooo
follow
أَهۡوَآءَ
ʹahwaaaʹa
(vain) desires
قَوۡمٖ
q̣awmiñ
(of) a people
قَدۡ
q̣ad
certainly
ضَلُّواْ
ḍalloo
who went astray
مِن
miñ
from
قَبۡلُ
q̣ablu
before
وَأَضَلُّواْ
wa-ʹaḍalloo
and they misled
كَثِيرٗا
kaseerañw
many
وَضَلُّواْ
waḍalloo
and they have strayed
عَن
ʻañ
from
سَوَآءِ
sawaaaʹis
(the) right
ٱلسَّبِيلِ
sabeel.
[the] way
٧٧
5:78
لُعِنَ
Luʻinal
Were cursed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieved
مِنۢ
mim
from
بَنِيٓ
baneee
(the) Children
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
ʹIsraaaʹeela
(of) Israel
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
by
لِسَانِ
lisaani
(the) tongue
دَاوُۥدَ
Daawooda
(of) Dawood
وَعِيسَى
wa-ʻEesab
and Isa
ٱبۡنِ
ni
son
مَرۡيَمَۚ
Maryam:
(of) Maryam
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that (was)
بِمَا
bimaa
because
عَصَواْ
ʻaṣaw
they disobeyed
وَّكَانُواْ
Wakaanoo
and they were
يَعۡتَدُونَ
yaʻtadoon.
transgressing
٧٨
5:79
كَانُواْ
Kaanoo
They had been
لَا
laa-
not
يَتَنَاهَوۡنَ
yatanaahawna
forbidding each other
عَن
ʻam
from
مُّنكَرٖ
muñkariñ
wrongdoing
فَعَلُوهُۚ
faʻalooh:
they did [it]
لَبِئۡسَ
Labiʹsa
Surely evil
مَا
maa-
(was) what
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they were
يَفۡعَلُونَ
yafʻaloon!
doing
٧٩
5:80
تَرَىٰ
Taraa
You see
كَثِيرٗا
kas̤eeram
many
مِّنۡهُمۡ
minhum
of them
يَتَوَلَّوۡنَ
yatawallawnal
taking as allies
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُواْۚ
kafaroo.
disbelieved
لَبِئۡسَ
Labiʹsa
Surely evil
مَا
maa-
(is) what
قَدَّمَتۡ
q̣addamat
sent forth
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
أَنفُسُهُمۡ
ʹañfusuhum
their souls
أَن
ʹañ
that
سَخِطَ
sakhiṭal
became angry
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
with them
وَفِي
wa-fil
and in
ٱلۡعَذَابِ
ʻaẓaabi
the punishment
هُمۡ
hum
they
خَٰلِدُونَ
khaalidoon.
(will) abide forever
٨٠
5:81
وَلَوۡ
Wa-law
And if
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they had
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yuʹminoona
believed
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
in Allah
وَٱلنَّبِيِّ
wan-nabiyyi
and the Prophet
وَمَآ
wa-maaa
and what
أُنزِلَ
ʹuñzila
has been revealed
إِلَيۡهِ
ʹilayhi
to him
مَا
mat
not
ٱتَّخَذُوهُمۡ
takhaẓoohum
they (would have) taken them
أَوۡلِيَآءَ
ʹawliyaaaʹa
(as) allies
وَلَٰكِنَّ
wa-laakinna
[and] but
كَثِيرٗا
kas̤eeram
many
مِّنۡهُمۡ
minhum
of them
فَٰسِقُونَ
faasiq̣oon.
(are) defiantly disobedient
٨١
5:82
۞لَتَجِدَنَّ
Latajidanna
Surely you will find
أَشَدَّ
ʹashaddan
strongest
ٱلنَّاسِ
naasi
(of) the people
عَدَٰوَةٗ
ʻadaawatal
(in) enmity
لِّلَّذِينَ
lillaẓeena
to those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanul
believe
ٱلۡيَهُودَ
Yahooda
the Jews
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wallaẓeena
and those who
أَشۡرَكُواْۖ
ʹashrakoo:
(are) polytheists
وَلَتَجِدَنَّ
wa-latajidanna
and surely you will find
أَقۡرَبَهُم
ʹaq̣rabahum
nearest of them
مَّوَدَّةٗ
mawaddatal
(in) affection
لِّلَّذِينَ
lil-laẓeena
to those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanul
believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
قَالُوٓاْ
q̣aalooo
say
إِنَّا
innaa
We
نَصَٰرَىٰۚ
Naṣaaraa:
(are) Christians
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
That (is)
بِأَنَّ
biʹanna
because
مِنۡهُمۡ
minhum
among them
قِسِّيسِينَ
Q̣isseeseena
(are) priests
وَرُهۡبَانٗا
Wa-Ruhbaanañw
and monks
وَأَنَّهُمۡ
Waʹannahum
and that they
لَا
laa-
(are) not
يَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ
yastakbiroon.
arrogant

5:83
وَإِذَا
Wa-ʹiẓaa
And when
سَمِعُواْ
samiʻoo
they listen
مَآ
maaa
(to) what
أُنزِلَ
ʹuñzila
has been revealed
إِلَى
ʹilar
to
ٱلرَّسُولِ
Rasooli
the Messenger
تَرَىٰٓ
taraaa
you see
أَعۡيُنَهُمۡ
ʹaʻyunahum
their eyes
تَفِيضُ
tafeeḍu
overflowing
مِنَ
minad
with
ٱلدَّمۡعِ
damʻi
the tears
مِمَّا
mimmaa
for what
عَرَفُواْ
ʻarafoo
they recognized
مِنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡحَقِّۖ
ḥaq̣q̣.
the truth
يَقُولُونَ
Yaq̣ooloona
They say
رَبَّنَآ
Rabbanaaa
Our Lord
ءَامَنَّا
ʹaamannaa
we have believed
فَٱكۡتُبۡنَا
faktubnaa
so write us
مَعَ
maʻash
with
ٱلشَّٰهِدِينَ
shaahideen.
the witnesses
٨٣
5:84
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And what
لَنَا
lanaa
for us (that)
لَا
laa-
not
نُؤۡمِنُ
nuʹminu
we believe
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
in Allah
وَمَا
wa-maa
and what
جَآءَنَا
jaaaʹanaa
came (to) us
مِنَ
minal
from
ٱلۡحَقِّ
ḥaq̣q̣i
the truth
وَنَطۡمَعُ
wa-naṭmaʻu
And we hope
أَن
ʹañy
that
يُدۡخِلَنَا
yudkhilanaa
will admit us
رَبُّنَا
Rabbunaa
our Lord
مَعَ
maʻal
with
ٱلۡقَوۡمِ
q̣awmiṣ
the people
ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
Ṣaaliḥeen.
the righteous
٨٤
5:85
فَأَثَٰبَهُمُ
Faʹas̤aabahumul
So rewarded them
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
بِمَا
bimaa
for what
قَالُواْ
q̣aaloo
they said
جَنَّٰتٖ
Jannaatiñ
(with) Gardens
تَجۡرِي
tajree
flows
مِن
miñ
from
تَحۡتِهَا
taḥtihal
underneath them
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ
ʹanhaaru
the rivers
خَٰلِدِينَ
khaalideena
will abide forever
فِيهَاۚ
feehaa.
in it
وَذَٰلِكَ
Waẓaalika
And that
جَزَآءُ
jazaaaʹul
(is the) reward
ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
Muḥsineen.
(of) the good-doers
٨٥
5:86
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
And those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieved
وَكَذَّبُواْ
wa-kaẓẓaboo
and denied
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ
biʹayaatinaaa
Our Signs
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹulaaaʹika
those
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ʹAṣḥaabul
(are the) companions
ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
Jaḥeem.
(of) the Hellfire
٨٦
5:87
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaa-ʹayyuhal
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believe
لَا
laa-
(Do) not
تُحَرِّمُواْ
tuḥarrimoo
make unlawful
طَيِّبَٰتِ
ṭayyibaati
(the) good things
مَآ
maaa
(of) what
أَحَلَّ
ʹaḥallal
has (been) made lawful
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
(by) Allah
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
وَلَا
wa-laa
and (do) not
تَعۡتَدُوٓاْۚ
taʻtadoo:
transgress
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
لَا
laa-
(does) not
يُحِبُّ
yuḥibbul
love
ٱلۡمُعۡتَدِينَ
muʻtadeen.
the transgressors
٨٧
5:88
وَكُلُواْ
Wa-kuloo
And eat
مِمَّا
mimmaa
of what
رَزَقَكُمُ
razaq̣akumul
has provided you
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
حَلَٰلٗا
ḥalaalañ
lawful
طَيِّبٗاۚ
ṭayyibaa;
good
وَٱتَّقُواْ
wattaq̣ul
And fear
ٱللَّهَ
laahal
Allah
ٱلَّذِيٓ
laẓeee
the One
أَنتُم
ʹañtum̃
you (are)
بِهِۦ
bihee
in Him
مُؤۡمِنُونَ
Muʹminoon.
believers
٨٨
5:89
لَا
Laa-
Not
يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ
yuʹaakhiẓukumul
will call you to account
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
بِٱللَّغۡوِ
billag̣wi
for the thoughtless utterances
فِيٓ
feee
in
أَيۡمَٰنِكُمۡ
ʹaymaanikum
your oaths
وَلَٰكِن
wa-laakiñy
but
يُؤَاخِذُكُم
yuʹaakhiẓukum̃
He will call you to account
بِمَا
bimaa
for what
عَقَّدتُّمُ
ʻaq̣q̣attumul
you contracted
ٱلۡأَيۡمَٰنَۖ
ʹaymaan:
(of) the oath
فَكَفَّٰرَتُهُۥٓ
fakaffaaratuhooo
So its expiation
إِطۡعَامُ
ʹiṭʻaamu
(is) feeding
عَشَرَةِ
ʻasharati
(of) ten
مَسَٰكِينَ
masaakeena
needy people
مِنۡ
min
of
أَوۡسَطِ
ʹawsaṭi
average
مَا
maa-
(of) what
تُطۡعِمُونَ
tuṭʻimoona
you feed
أَهۡلِيكُمۡ
ʹahleekumʹ
your families
أَوۡ
aw
or
كِسۡوَتُهُمۡ
kiswatuhumʹ
clothing them
أَوۡ
aw
or
تَحۡرِيرُ
taḥreeru
freeing
رَقَبَةٖۖ
raq̣abah.
a slave
فَمَن
Famal
But whoever
لَّمۡ
lam
(does) not
يَجِدۡ
yajid
find
فَصِيَامُ
fa-Ṣiyaamu
(that) then fasting
ثَلَٰثَةِ
s̤alaas̤ati
(for) three
أَيَّامٖۚ
ʹay-yaam.
days
ذَٰلِكَ
Ẓaalika
That
كَفَّٰرَةُ
kaffaaratu
(is the) expiation
أَيۡمَٰنِكُمۡ
ʹaymaanikum
(of) your oaths
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
when
حَلَفۡتُمۡۚ
ḥalaftum
you have sworn
وَٱحۡفَظُوٓاْ
Waḥfaz̤̣ooo
And guard
أَيۡمَٰنَكُمۡۚ
ʹaymaanakum.
your oaths
كَذَٰلِكَ
Kaẓaalika
Thus
يُبَيِّنُ
yubayyinul
makes clear
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
ءَايَٰتِهِۦ
ʹAayaatihee
His Verses
لَعَلَّكُمۡ
laʻallakum
so that you may
تَشۡكُرُونَ
tashkuroon.
(be) grateful
٨٩

5:90
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhal
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
who
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
ʻaamanoooʹ
believe
إِنَّمَا
innamal
Verily
ٱلۡخَمۡرُ
khamru
the intoxicants
وَٱلۡمَيۡسِرُ
walmaysiru
and [the] games of chance
وَٱلۡأَنصَابُ
wal-ʹañṣaabu
and (sacrifices at) altars
وَٱلۡأَزۡلَٰمُ
wal-ʹazlaamu
and divining arrows
رِجۡسٞ
rijsum
(are an) abomination
مِّنۡ
min
from
عَمَلِ
ʻamalish
(the) work
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِ
shayṭaani
(of) the Shaitaan
فَٱجۡتَنِبُوهُ
fajtaniboohu
so avoid it
لَعَلَّكُمۡ
laʻal-lakum
so that you may
تُفۡلِحُونَ
tufliḥoon.
(be) successful
٩٠
5:91
إِنَّمَا
ʹInnamaa
Only
يُرِيدُ
yureedush
intends
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ
Shayṭaanu
the Shaitaan
أَن
ʹañy
to
يُوقِعَ
yooq̣iʻa
cause
بَيۡنَكُمُ
baynakumul
between you
ٱلۡعَدَٰوَةَ
ʻadaawata
[the] enmity
وَٱلۡبَغۡضَآءَ
wal-bag̣ḍaaaʹa
and [the] hatred
فِي
fil
through
ٱلۡخَمۡرِ
khamri
intoxicants
وَٱلۡمَيۡسِرِ
wal-maysiri
and gambling
وَيَصُدَّكُمۡ
wa-yaṣuddakum
and hinders you
عَن
ʻañ
from
ذِكۡرِ
ẓikril
(the) remembrance
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
وَعَنِ
wa-ʻaniṣ
and from
ٱلصَّلَوٰةِۖ
Ṣalaah:
the prayer
فَهَلۡ
fahal
So will
أَنتُم
ʹañtum
you
مُّنتَهُونَ
muñtahoon.
(be) the ones who abstain
٩١
5:92
وَأَطِيعُواْ
Wa-ʹaṭeeʻul
And obey
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
وَأَطِيعُواْ
wa-ʹaṭeeʻur
and obey
ٱلرَّسُولَ
Rasoola
the Messenger
وَٱحۡذَرُواْۚ
waḥẓaroo:
and beware
فَإِن
faʹiñ
And if
تَوَلَّيۡتُمۡ
tawal-laytum
you turn away
فَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ
faʻlamooo
then know
أَنَّمَا
ʹannamaa
only
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
upon
رَسُولِنَا
Rasoolinal
Our Messenger
ٱلۡبَلَٰغُ
balaag̣ul
(is to) convey (the Message)
ٱلۡمُبِينُ
mubeen.

5:93
لَيۡسَ
Laysa
Not
عَلَى
ʻalal
on
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believe
وَعَمِلُواْ
wa-ʻamilus
and do
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
ṣaaliḥaati
the good deeds
جُنَاحٞ
junaaḥuñ
any sin
فِيمَا
feemaa
for what
طَعِمُوٓاْ
ṭaʻimooo
they ate
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
when
مَا
mat
that
ٱتَّقَواْ
taq̣aw
they fear (Allah)
وَّءَامَنُواْ
waʹaamanoo
and they believe
وَعَمِلُواْ
wa-ʻamiluṣ
and they do
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
Ṣaaliḥaati
[the] good deeds
ثُمَّ
s̤ummat
then
ٱتَّقَواْ
taq̣aw
they fear (Allah)
وَّءَامَنُواْ
waʹaamanoo
and believe
ثُمَّ
s̤ummat
then
ٱتَّقَواْ
taq̣aw
they fear (Allah)
وَّأَحۡسَنُواْۚ
waʹaḥsanoo.
and do good
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
and Allah
يُحِبُّ
yuḥibbul
loves
ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
muḥsineen.
the good-doers
٩٣
5:94
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaa-ʹayyuhal
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believe
لَيَبۡلُوَنَّكُمُ
layabluwannakumul
Surely will test you
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
بِشَيۡءٖ
bishayʹim
through something
مِّنَ
minaṣ
of
ٱلصَّيۡدِ
ṣaydi
the game
تَنَالُهُۥٓ
tanaaluhooo
can reach it
أَيۡدِيكُمۡ
ʹaydeekum
your hands
وَرِمَاحُكُمۡ
wa-rimaaḥukum
and your spears
لِيَعۡلَمَ
liyaʻlamal
that may make evident
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
مَن
mañy
who
يَخَافُهُۥ
yakhaafuhoo
fears Him
بِٱلۡغَيۡبِۚ
bilg̣ayb:
in the unseen
فَمَنِ
famaniʻ
And whoever
ٱعۡتَدَىٰ
tadaa
transgressed
بَعۡدَ
baʻda
after
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
فَلَهُۥ
falahoo
then for him
عَذَابٌ
ʻaẓaabun
(is) a punishment
أَلِيمٞ
ʹaleem.
painful
٩٤
5:95
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaa-ʹayyuhal
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believe
لَا
laa-
(Do) not
تَقۡتُلُواْ
taq̣tuluṣ
kill
ٱلصَّيۡدَ
ṣayda
the game
وَأَنتُمۡ
wa-ʹañtum
while you
حُرُمٞۚ
ḥurum.
(are in) Ihram
وَمَن
Wa-mañ
And whoever
قَتَلَهُۥ
q̣atalahoo
killed it
مِنكُم
miñkum
among you
مُّتَعَمِّدٗا
mutaʻammidañ
intentionally
فَجَزَآءٞ
fajazaaaʹum
then penalty
مِّثۡلُ
mis̤lu
(is) similar
مَا
maa-
(to) what
قَتَلَ
q̣atala
he killed
مِنَ
minan
of
ٱلنَّعَمِ
naʻami
the cattle
يَحۡكُمُ
yaḥkumu
judging
بِهِۦ
bihee
it
ذَوَا
ẓawaa
two men
عَدۡلٖ
ʻadlim
just
مِّنكُمۡ
miñkum
among you
هَدۡيَۢا
hadyam
(as) an offering
بَٰلِغَ
baalig̣al
reaching
ٱلۡكَعۡبَةِ
kaʻbati
the Kabah
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
كَفَّٰرَةٞ
kaffaaratuñ
an expiation
طَعَامُ
ṭaʻaamu
feeding
مَسَٰكِينَ
masaakeena
needy people
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
عَدۡلُ
ʻadlu
equivalent
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
(of) that
صِيَامٗا
ṣiyaamal
(in) fasting
لِّيَذُوقَ
liyaẓooq̣a
that he may taste
وَبَالَ
wabaala
(the) consequence
أَمۡرِهِۦۗ
ʹamrih.
(of) his deed
عَفَا
ʻAfal
Pardoned
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
(by) Allah
عَمَّا
ʻammaa
what
سَلَفَۚ
salaf:
(has) passed
وَمَنۡ
wa-man
but whoever
عَادَ
ʻaada
returned
فَيَنتَقِمُ
fayañtaq̣imul
then will take retribution
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
مِنۡهُۚ
minh.
from him
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
And Allah
عَزِيزٞ
ʻAzeezuñ
(is) All-Mighty
ذُو
Ẓun
Owner
ٱنتِقَامٍ
tiq̣aam.
(of) Retribution

أُحِلَّ
ʹUḥilla
Is made lawful
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
صَيۡدُ
ṣaydul
game
ٱلۡبَحۡرِ
baḥri
(of) the sea
وَطَعَامُهُۥ
waṭaʻaamuhoo
and its food
مَتَٰعٗا
mataaʻal
(as) provision
لَّكُمۡ
lakum
for you
وَلِلسَّيَّارَةِۖ
wa-lis-sayyaarah;
and for the travelers
وَحُرِّمَ
waḥurrima
and is made unlawful
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
ʻalaykum
on you
صَيۡدُ
ṣaydul
game
ٱلۡبَرِّ
barri
(of) the land
مَا
maa-
as
دُمۡتُمۡ
dumtum
long as you
حُرُمٗاۗ
ḥurumaa.
(are in) Ihram
وَٱتَّقُواْ
Wattaq̣ul
And be conscious
ٱللَّهَ
lahal
(of) Allah
ٱلَّذِيٓ
laẓeee
the One
إِلَيۡهِ
ʹilayhi
to Him
تُحۡشَرُونَ
tuḥ-sharoon.
you will be gathered
٩٦
5:97
۞جَعَلَ
Jaʻalal
Has (been) made
ٱللَّهُ
laahul
(by) Allah
ٱلۡكَعۡبَةَ
Kaʻbatal
the Kabah
ٱلۡبَيۡتَ
Baytal
the House
ٱلۡحَرَامَ
Ḥaraama
the Sacred
قِيَٰمٗا
q̣iyaamal
an establishment
لِّلنَّاسِ
linnaasi
for mankind
وَٱلشَّهۡرَ
wash-Shahral
and the month(s)
ٱلۡحَرَامَ
Ḥaraama
[the] sacred
وَٱلۡهَدۡيَ
wal-hadya
and the (animals) for offering
وَٱلۡقَلَٰٓئِدَۚ
wal-q̣alaaaʹid.
and the garlands
ذَٰلِكَ
Ẓaalika
That (is)
لِتَعۡلَمُوٓاْ
litaʻlamooo
so that you may know
أَنَّ
ʹannal
that
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
yaʻlamu
knows
مَا
maa-
what
فِي
fis
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
the heavens
وَمَا
wa-maa
and what
فِي
fil
(is) in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
وَأَنَّ
wa-ʹannal
and that
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
بِكُلِّ
bikulli
of every
شَيۡءٍ
shayʹin
thing
عَلِيمٌ
ʻAleem.
(is) All-Knowing
٩٧
5:98
ٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ
ʹIʻlamooo
Know
أَنَّ
ʹannal
that
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
شَدِيدُ
Shadeedul
(is) severe
ٱلۡعِقَابِ
ʻiq̣aabi
(in) punishment
وَأَنَّ
wa-ʹannal
and that
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
غَفُورٞ
G̣afoorur
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٞ
Raḥeem.
Most Merciful

5:99
مَّا
Maa-
Not
عَلَى
ʻalar
on
ٱلرَّسُولِ
rasooli
the Messenger
إِلَّا
ʹillal
except
ٱلۡبَلَٰغُۗ
balaag̣.
the conveyance
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
And Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
yaʻlamu
knows
مَا
maa-
what
تُبۡدُونَ
tubdoona
you reveal
وَمَا
wa-maa
and what
تَكۡتُمُونَ
taktumoon.
you conceal

قُل
Q̣ul
Say
لَّا
laa
Not
يَسۡتَوِي
yastawil
(are) equal
ٱلۡخَبِيثُ
khabees̤u
the evil
وَٱلطَّيِّبُ
waṭṭayyibu
and the good
وَلَوۡ
wa-law
even if
أَعۡجَبَكَ
ʹaʻjabaka
impresses you
كَثۡرَةُ
kas̤ratul
abundance
ٱلۡخَبِيثِۚ
khabees̤;
(of) the evil
فَٱتَّقُواْ
fattaq̣ul
So fear
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
يَٰٓأُوْلِي
yaaaʹulil
O men
ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ
ʹalbaabi
(of) understanding
لَعَلَّكُمۡ
laʻallakum
so that you may
تُفۡلِحُونَ
tufliḥoon.
(be) successful
