۞يَٰٓأَيُّهَا

O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believe
لَا
laa-
(Do) not
تَتَّخِذُواْ
tattakhiẓul
take
ٱلۡيَهُودَ
Yahooda
the Jews
وَٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰٓ
wan-Naṣaaraaa
and the Christians
أَوۡلِيَآءَۘ
ʹawliyaaaʹ.
(as) allies
بَعۡضُهُمۡ
Baʻḍuhum
Some of them
أَوۡلِيَآءُ
ʹawliyaaaʹu
(are) allies
بَعۡضٖۚ
baʻḍ.
(to) others
وَمَن
Wa-mañy
And whoever
يَتَوَلَّهُم
yatawallahum
takes them as allies
مِّنكُمۡ
miñkum
among you
فَإِنَّهُۥ
faʹinnahoo
then indeed he
مِنۡهُمۡۗ
minhum.
(is) of them
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
لَا
laa-
(does) not
يَهۡدِي
yahdil
guide
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ
q̣awmaz̤̣
the people
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
z̤̣aalimeen.
the wrongdoing
٥١
5:52
فَتَرَى
Fataral
And you see
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those
فِي
fee
in
قُلُوبِهِم
q̣uloobihim
their hearts
مَّرَضٞ
maraḍuñy
(is) a disease
يُسَٰرِعُونَ
yusaariʻoona
they hasten
فِيهِمۡ
feehim
to them
يَقُولُونَ
yaq̣ooloona
saying
نَخۡشَىٰٓ
nakhshaaa
We fear
أَن
ʹañ
that
تُصِيبَنَا
tuṣeebanaa
(may) strike us
دَآئِرَةٞۚ
daaaʹirah.
a misfortune
فَعَسَى
Faʻasal
But perhaps
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
أَن
ʹañy
[that]
يَأۡتِيَ
yaʹtiya
will bring
بِٱلۡفَتۡحِ
bilfatḥi
the victory
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
أَمۡرٖ
ʹamrim
a decision
مِّنۡ
min
from
عِندِهِۦ
ʻiñdihee
(of) Him
فَيُصۡبِحُواْ
fayuṣbiḥoo
Then they will become
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
for
مَآ
maaa
what
أَسَرُّواْ
ʹasarroo
they had concealed
فِيٓ
feee
within
أَنفُسِهِمۡ
ʹañfusihim
themselves
نَٰدِمِينَ
naadimeen.
regretful
٥٢
5:53
وَيَقُولُ
Wa-yaq̣oolul
And will say
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
ʹaamanooo
believe
أَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
ʹahaaaʹulaaaʹil
Are these
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
أَقۡسَمُواْ
ʹaq̣samoo
swore
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
by Allah
جَهۡدَ
jahda
strongest
أَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ
ʹaymaanihim
(of) their oaths
إِنَّهُمۡ
ʹinnahum
indeed they
لَمَعَكُمۡۚ
lamaʻakum?
(were) with you
حَبِطَتۡ
Ḥabiṭat
Became worthless
أَعۡمَٰلُهُمۡ
ʹaʻmaaluhum
their deeds
فَأَصۡبَحُواْ
faʹaṣbaḥoo
and they became
خَٰسِرِينَ
khaasireen.
(the) losers
٥٣
5:54
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaa-ʹayyuhal
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believe
مَن
mañy
Whoever
يَرۡتَدَّ
yartadda
turns back
مِنكُمۡ
miñkum
among you
عَن
ʻañ
from
دِينِهِۦ
Deenihee
his religion
فَسَوۡفَ
fasawfa
then soon
يَأۡتِي
yaʹtil
(will be) brought
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
(by) Allah
بِقَوۡمٖ
biq̣awmiñy
a people
يُحِبُّهُمۡ
yuḥibbuhum
whom He loves
وَيُحِبُّونَهُۥٓ
wa-yuḥibboonahooo
and they love Him
أَذِلَّةٍ
ʹaẓillatin
humble
عَلَى
ʻalal
towards
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineena
the believers
أَعِزَّةٍ
ʹaʻizzatin
(and) stern
عَلَى
ʻalal
towards
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
Kaafireena,
the disbelievers
يُجَٰهِدُونَ
yujaahidoona
striving
فِي
fee
in
سَبِيلِ
Sabeelil
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
يَخَافُونَ
yakhaafoona
fearing
لَوۡمَةَ
lawmata
the blame
لَآئِمٖۚ
laaaʹim.
(of) a critic
ذَٰلِكَ
Ẓaalika
That
فَضۡلُ
Faḍlul
(is the) Grace
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
يُؤۡتِيهِ
yuʹteehi
He grants
مَن
mañy
whom
يَشَآءُۚ
yashaaaʹ.
He wills
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
And Allah
وَٰسِعٌ
Waasiʻun
(is) All-Encompassing
عَلِيمٌ
ʻAleem.
All-Knowing
٥٤
5:55
إِنَّمَا
ʹInnamaa
Only
وَلِيُّكُمُ
Waliyyukumul
your ally
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
(is) Allah
وَرَسُولُهُۥ
wa-Rasooluhoo
and His Messenger
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wal-laẓeena
and those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanul
believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
and those who
يُقِيمُونَ
yuq̣eemoonaṣ
establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
Ṣalaata
the prayer
وَيُؤۡتُونَ
wa-yuʹtoonaz
and give
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ
Zakaata
zakah
وَهُمۡ
wa-hum
and they
رَٰكِعُونَ
raakiʻoon.
(are) those who bow down
٥٥
5:56
وَمَن
Wa-mañy
And whoever
يَتَوَلَّ
yatawallal
takes as an ally
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ
wa-Rasoolahoo
and His Messenger
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wallaẓeena
and those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believe
فَإِنَّ
faʹinna
then indeed
حِزۡبَ
Ḥizbal
(the) party
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
هُمُ
humul
they
ٱلۡغَٰلِبُونَ
g̣aaliboon.
(are) the victorious
٥٦
5:57
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhal
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believe
لَا
laa-
(Do) not
تَتَّخِذُواْ
tattakhiẓul
take
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeenat
those who
ٱتَّخَذُواْ
takhaẓoo
take
دِينَكُمۡ
Deenakum
your religion
هُزُوٗا
huzuwañw
(in) ridicule
وَلَعِبٗا
walaʻibam
and fun
مِّنَ
minal
from
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
أُوتُواْ
ʹootul
are given
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
Kitaaba
the Book
مِن
miñ
from
قَبۡلِكُمۡ
q̣ablikum
before you
وَٱلۡكُفَّارَ
walkuffaara
and the disbelievers
أَوۡلِيَآءَۚ
ʹawliyaaaʹ.
(as) allies
وَٱتَّقُواْ
Wattaq̣ul
And fear
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
إِن
ʹiñ
if
كُنتُم
kuñtum
you are
مُّؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineen.
believers

5:58
وَإِذَا
Wa-ʹiẓaa
And when
نَادَيۡتُمۡ
naadaytum
you make a call
إِلَى
ʹilaṣ
for
ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ
Ṣalaatit
the prayer
ٱتَّخَذُوهَا
takhaẓoohaa
they take it
هُزُوٗا
huzuwañw
(in) ridicule
وَلَعِبٗاۚ
walaʻibaa;
and fun
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
That
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
biʹannahum
(is) because they
قَوۡمٞ
q̣awmul
(are) a people
لَّا
laa
(who do) not
يَعۡقِلُونَ
yaʻq̣iloon.
understand
٥٨
5:59
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
يَٰٓأَهۡلَ
yaaaʹAhlal
O People
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
Kitaabi
(of) the Book
هَلۡ
hal
Do
تَنقِمُونَ
tañq̣imoona
you resent
مِنَّآ
minnaaa
[of] us
إِلَّآ
ʹillaaa
except
أَنۡ
ʹan
that
ءَامَنَّا
ʹaamannaa
we believe
بِٱللَّهِ
billahi
in Allah
وَمَآ
wa-maaa
and what
أُنزِلَ
ʹuñzila
has been revealed
إِلَيۡنَا
ʹilaynaa
to us
وَمَآ
wa-maaa
and what
أُنزِلَ
ʹuñzila
was revealed
مِن
miñ
from
قَبۡلُ
q̣ablu
before
وَأَنَّ
wa-ʹanna
and that
أَكۡثَرَكُمۡ
ʹaks̤arakum
most of you
فَٰسِقُونَ
faasiq̣oon?
(are) defiantly disobedient
٥٩
5:60
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
هَلۡ
hal
Shall
أُنَبِّئُكُم
ʹunabbiʹukum̃
I inform you
بِشَرّٖ
bisharrim
(of) worse
مِّن
miñ
than
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
مَثُوبَةً
mas̤oobatan
(as) recompense
عِندَ
ʻiñdal
from
ٱللَّهِۚ
laah?
Allah
مَن
Mal
Whom
لَّعَنَهُ
laʻanahul
has (been) cursed
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
(by) Allah
وَغَضِبَ
wa-g̣aḍiba
and He became angry
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
with him
وَجَعَلَ
wa-jaʻala
and made
مِنۡهُمُ
min-humul
of them
ٱلۡقِرَدَةَ
q̣iradata
[the] apes
وَٱلۡخَنَازِيرَ
wal-khanaazeera
and [the] swines
وَعَبَدَ
wa-ʻabadaṭ
and (who) worshipped
ٱلطَّٰغُوتَۚ
Ṭaag̣oot;
the false deities
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹulaaaʹika
Those
شَرّٞ
sharrum
(are) worse
مَّكَانٗا
makaañaw
(in) position
وَأَضَلُّ
waʹaḍallu
and farthest astray
عَن
ʻañ
from
سَوَآءِ
sawaaaʹis
(the) even
ٱلسَّبِيلِ
sabeel!
way
٦٠
5:61
وَإِذَا
Wa-ʹiẓaa
And when
جَآءُوكُمۡ
jaaaʹookum
they come to you
قَالُوٓاْ
q̣aalooo
they say
ءَامَنَّا
ʹaamannaa
We believe
وَقَد
wa-q̣ad
But certainly
دَّخَلُواْ
dakhaloo
they entered
بِٱلۡكُفۡرِ
bilkufri
with disbelief
وَهُمۡ
wa-hum
and they
قَدۡ
q̣ad
certainly
خَرَجُواْ
kharajoo
went out
بِهِۦۚ
bih.
with it
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
And Allah
أَعۡلَمُ
ʹaʻlamu
knows best
بِمَا
bimaa
[of] what
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they were
يَكۡتُمُونَ
yaktumoon.
hiding
٦١
5:62
وَتَرَىٰ
Wa-taraa
And you see
كَثِيرٗا
kas̤eeram
many
مِّنۡهُمۡ
minhum
of them
يُسَٰرِعُونَ
yusaariʻoona
hastening
فِي
fil
into
ٱلۡإِثۡمِ
ʹis̤mi
[the] sin
وَٱلۡعُدۡوَٰنِ
walʻudwaani
and [the] transgression
وَأَكۡلِهِمُ
waʹaklihimus
and eating
ٱلسُّحۡتَۚ
suḥt;
the forbidden
لَبِئۡسَ
labiʹsa
Surely evil
مَا
maa-
(is) what
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they were
يَعۡمَلُونَ
yaʻmaloon!
doing
٦٢
5:63
لَوۡلَا
Law-laa
Why (do) not
يَنۡهَىٰهُمُ
yanhaahumur
forbid them
ٱلرَّبَّٰنِيُّونَ
Rabbaaniyyoona
the Rabbis
وَٱلۡأَحۡبَارُ
wal-ʹaḥbaaru
and the religious scholars
عَن
ʻañ
from
قَوۡلِهِمُ
q̣awlihimul
their saying
ٱلۡإِثۡمَ
ʹis̤ma
the sinful
وَأَكۡلِهِمُ
wa-ʹaklihimus
and their eating
ٱلسُّحۡتَۚ
suḥt?
(of) the forbidden
لَبِئۡسَ
Labiʹsa
Surely evil
مَا
maa-
(is) what
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they used to
يَصۡنَعُونَ
yaṣnaʻoon.
do
٦٣
5:64
وَقَالَتِ
Wa-q̣aalatil
And said
ٱلۡيَهُودُ
Yahoodu
the Jews
يَدُ
yadul
The Hand
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
مَغۡلُولَةٌۚ
mag̣loolah.
(is) chained
غُلَّتۡ
G̣ullat
Are chained
أَيۡدِيهِمۡ
ʹaydeehim
their hands
وَلُعِنُواْ
wa-luʻinoo
and they have been cursed
بِمَا
bimaa
for what
قَالُواْۘ
q̣aalu.
they said
بَلۡ
Bal
Nay
يَدَاهُ
Yadaahu
His Hands
مَبۡسُوطَتَانِ
mabsooṭataani
(are) stretched out
يُنفِقُ
yuñfiq̣u
He spends
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
يَشَآءُۚ
yashaaaʹ.
He wills
وَلَيَزِيدَنَّ
Wa-la-yazeedanna
And surely increase
كَثِيرٗا
kas̤eeram
many
مِّنۡهُم
minhum
of them
مَّآ
maaa
what
أُنزِلَ
uñzila
has been revealed
إِلَيۡكَ
ʹilayka
to you
مِن
mir
from
رَّبِّكَ
Rabbika
your Lord
طُغۡيَٰنٗا
ṭug̣yaanañw
(in) rebellion
وَكُفۡرٗاۚ
wakufraa.
and disbelief
وَأَلۡقَيۡنَا
Wa-ʹalq̣aynaa
And We have cast
بَيۡنَهُمُ
baynahumul
among them
ٱلۡعَدَٰوَةَ
ʻadaawata
[the] enmity
وَٱلۡبَغۡضَآءَ
wal-bag̣ḍaaaʹa
and [the] hatred
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
till
يَوۡمِ
Yawmil
(the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۚ
Q̣iyaamah.
(of) the Resurrection
كُلَّمَآ
Kullamaaa
Every time
أَوۡقَدُواْ
ʹawq̣adoo
they kindled
نَارٗا
naaral
(the) fire
لِّلۡحَرۡبِ
lilḥarbi
of [the] war
أَطۡفَأَهَا
ʹaṭfaʹahal
it (was) extinguished
ٱللَّهُۚ
laahu
(by) Allah
وَيَسۡعَوۡنَ
wa-yasʻawna
And they strive
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
فَسَادٗاۚ
fasaadaa.
spreading corruption
وَٱللَّهُ
Wal-laahu
And Allah
لَا
laa-
(does) not
يُحِبُّ
yuḥibbul
love
ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ
mufsideen.
the corrupters
٦٤
Page 119
5:65
وَلَوۡ
Wa-law
And if
أَنَّ
ʹanna
that
أَهۡلَ
ʹAhlal
(the) People
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
Kitaabi
(of) the Book
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
(had) believed
وَٱتَّقَوۡاْ
wattaq̣aw
and feared (Allah)
لَكَفَّرۡنَا
lakaffarnaa
surely We (would have) removed
عَنۡهُمۡ
ʻanhum
from them
سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمۡ
sayyiʹaatihim
their evil (deeds)
وَلَأَدۡخَلۡنَٰهُمۡ
walaʹadkhalnaahum
and surely We (would have) admitted them
جَنَّٰتِ
Jannaatin
(to) Gardens
ٱلنَّعِيمِ
Naʻeem.
(of) Bliss
٦٥
5:66
وَلَوۡ
Wa-law
And if
أَنَّهُمۡ
ʹannahum
that they
أَقَامُواْ
ʹaq̣aamut
had stood firmly
ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةَ
Tawraata
(by) the Taurat
وَٱلۡإِنجِيلَ
wal-ʹIñjeela
and the Injeel
وَمَآ
wa-maaa
and what
أُنزِلَ
ʹuñzila
was revealed
إِلَيۡهِم
ʹilayhim
to them
مِّن
mir
from
رَّبِّهِمۡ
Rabbihim
their Lord
لَأَكَلُواْ
laʹakaloo
surely they (would have) eaten
مِن
miñ
from
فَوۡقِهِمۡ
fawq̣ihim
above them
وَمِن
wa-miñ
and from
تَحۡتِ
taḥti
beneath
أَرۡجُلِهِمۚ
ʹarjulihim.
their feet
مِّنۡهُمۡ
Minhum
Among them
أُمَّةٞ
ʹummatum
(is) a community
مُّقۡتَصِدَةٞۖ
muq̣taṣidah:
moderate
وَكَثِيرٞ
wa-kas̤eerum
but many
مِّنۡهُمۡ
minhum
of them
سَآءَ
saaʹa
evil
مَا
maa-
(is) what
يَعۡمَلُونَ
yaʻmaloon.
they do
٦٦
5:67
۞يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhar
O
ٱلرَّسُولُ
Rasoolu
Messenger
بَلِّغۡ
ballig̣
Convey
مَآ
maaa
what
أُنزِلَ
ʹuñzila
has been revealed
إِلَيۡكَ
ʹilayka
to you
مِن
mir
from
رَّبِّكَۖ
Rabbik.
your Lord
وَإِن
Wa-ʹil
and if
لَّمۡ
lam
not
تَفۡعَلۡ
tafʻal
you do
فَمَا
famaa
then not
بَلَّغۡتَ
ballag̣ta
you (have) conveyed
رِسَالَتَهُۥۚ
Risaalatah.
His Message
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
And Allah
يَعۡصِمُكَ
yaʻṣimuka
will protect you
مِنَ
minan
from
ٱلنَّاسِۗ
naas.
the people
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
لَا
laa-
(does) not
يَهۡدِي
yahdil
guide
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ
q̣awmal
the people
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
Kaafireen.
the disbelieving
٦٧
5:68
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
يَٰٓأَهۡلَ
yaaaʹAhlal
O People
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
Kitaabi
(of) the Book
لَسۡتُمۡ
lastum
You are not
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
on
شَيۡءٍ
shayʹin
anything
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
تُقِيمُواْ
tuq̣eemut
you stand firmly
ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةَ
Tawraata
(by) the Taurat
وَٱلۡإِنجِيلَ
wal-ʹIñjeela
and the Injeel
وَمَآ
wa-maaa
and what
أُنزِلَ
ʹuñzila
has been revealed
إِلَيۡكُم
ʹilaykum
to you
مِّن
mir
from
رَّبِّكُمۡۗ
Rabbikum.
your Lord
وَلَيَزِيدَنَّ
Wa-layazeedanna

many
مِّنۡهُم

of them
مَّآ

أُنزِلَ

has been revealed
إِلَيۡكَ
ʹilayka
to you

Rabbika
your Lord
طُغۡيَٰنٗا
ṭug̣yaanañw
(in) rebellion
وَكُفۡرٗاۖ
wakufraa.
and disbelief
فَلَا
Falaa
So (do) not
تَأۡسَ
taʹsa
grieve
عَلَى
ʻalal
over
ٱلۡقَوۡمِ
Q̣awmil
the people
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
Kaafireen.
the disbelieving
٦٨
5:69
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believed
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wallaẓeena
and those who
هَادُواْ
haadoo
became Jews
وَٱلصَّٰبِـُٔونَ
waṣ-Ṣaabiʹoona
and the Sabians
وَٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰ
wan-Naṣaaraa
and the Christians
مَنۡ
man
whoever
ءَامَنَ
ʹaamana
believed
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
in Allah
وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ
wal-Yawmil
and the Day
ٱلۡأٓخِرِ
ʹAakhiri
the Last
وَعَمِلَ
wa-ʻamila
and did
صَٰلِحٗا
ṣaaliḥañ
good deeds
فَلَا
falaa
then no
خَوۡفٌ
khawfun
fear
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
on them
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
هُمۡ
hum
they
يَحۡزَنُونَ
yaḥzanoon.
will grieve
٦٩
5:70
لَقَدۡ
Laq̣ad
Certainly
أَخَذۡنَا
ʹakhaẓnaa
We took
مِيثَٰقَ
Mees̤aaq̣a
a Covenant
بَنِيٓ
Baneee
(from the) Children
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
ʹIsraaaʹeela
(of) Israel
وَأَرۡسَلۡنَآ
wa-ʹarsalnaaa
and We sent
إِلَيۡهِمۡ
ʹilayhim
to them
رُسُلٗاۖ
rusulaa.
Messengers
كُلَّمَا
Kullamaa
Whenever
جَآءَهُمۡ
jaaʹahum
came to them
رَسُولُۢ
Rasoolum
any Messenger
بِمَا
bimaa
with what
لَا
laa-
not
تَهۡوَىٰٓ
tahwaaa
desired
أَنفُسُهُمۡ
ʹañfusuhum
their souls
فَرِيقٗا
fareeq̣añ
a group
كَذَّبُواْ
kaẓẓaboo
they denied
وَفَرِيقٗا
wa-fareeq̣añy
and a group
يَقۡتُلُونَ
yaq̣tuloon.
they kill

وَحَسِبُوٓاْ
Waḥasibooo
And they thought
أَلَّا
ʹallaa
that not
تَكُونَ
takoona
will be (for them)
فِتۡنَةٞ

فَعَمُواْ
faʻamoo
so they became blind
وَصَمُّواْ
waṣammoo
and they became deaf
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
Then
تَابَ
taabal
turned
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
to them
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then (again)
عَمُواْ
ʻamoo
they became blind
وَصَمُّواْ
waṣammoo
and they became deaf
كَثِيرٞ
kas̤eerum
many
مِّنۡهُمۡۚ
minhum.
of them
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
And Allah
بَصِيرُۢ
Baṣeerum
(is) All-Seer
بِمَا
bimaa
of what
يَعۡمَلُونَ
yaʻmaloon.
they do
٧١
5:72
لَقَدۡ
Laq̣ad
Certainly
كَفَرَ
kafaral
disbelieved
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
قَالُوٓاْ
q̣aalooo
say
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
هُوَ
Huwal
He
ٱلۡمَسِيحُ
Maseeḥub
(is) the Messiah
ٱبۡنُ
nu
son
مَرۡيَمَۖ
Maryam.
(of) Maryam
وَقَالَ
Wa-q̣aalal
While said
ٱلۡمَسِيحُ
Maseeḥu
the Messiah
يَٰبَنِيٓ
yaa-baneee
O Children
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
ʹIsraaaʹeelaʻ
(of) Israel
ٱعۡبُدُواْ
U’budul
Worship
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
رَبِّي
Rabbee
my Lord
وَرَبَّكُمۡۖ
wa-Rabbakum.
and your Lord
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹInnahoo
Indeed he
مَن
mañy
who
يُشۡرِكۡ
yushrik
associates partners
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
with Allah
فَقَدۡ
faq̣ad
then surely
حَرَّمَ
ḥarramal
(has) forbidden
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhil
for him
ٱلۡجَنَّةَ
Jannata
Paradise
وَمَأۡوَىٰهُ
wa-maʹwaahun
and his abode
ٱلنَّارُۖ
Naar.
(will be) the Fire
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ
liz̤̣z̤̣aalimeena
for the wrongdoers
مِنۡ
min
any
أَنصَارٖ
ʻañṣaar.
helpers
٧٢
5:73
لَّقَدۡ
Laq̣ad
Certainly
كَفَرَ
kafaral
disbelieved
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
قَالُوٓاْ
q̣aalooo
say
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
ثَالِثُ
S̤aaliṣu
(is the) third
ثَلَٰثَةٖۘ
S̤alaas̤ah.
(of) three
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And (there is) no
مِنۡ
min
[of]
إِلَٰهٍ
ʹilaahin
god
إِلَّآ
ʹillaaa
except
إِلَٰهٞ
ʹIlaahuñw
(the) God
وَٰحِدٞۚ
Waaḥid.
(the) One
وَإِن
Wa-ʹil
And if
لَّمۡ
lam
not
يَنتَهُواْ
yañtahoo
they desist
عَمَّا
ʻammaa
from what
يَقُولُونَ
yaq̣ooloona
they are saying
لَيَمَسَّنَّ
layamassannal
surely will afflict
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieved
مِنۡهُمۡ
minhum
among them
عَذَابٌ
ʻaẓaabun
a punishment
أَلِيمٌ
ʹaleem.
painful
٧٣
5:74
أَفَلَا
ʹAfalaa
So will not
يَتُوبُونَ
yatooboona
they turn in repentance
إِلَى
ʹilal
to
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
وَيَسۡتَغۡفِرُونَهُۥۚ
wa-yastag̣firoonah?
and seek His forgiveness
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
And Allah
غَفُورٞ
G̣afoorur
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٞ
Raḥeem.
Most Merciful
٧٤
5:75
مَّا
Mal
Not
ٱلۡمَسِيحُ
maseeḥub
(is) the Messiah
ٱبۡنُ
nu
son
مَرۡيَمَ
maryama
(of) Maryam
إِلَّا
illaa
but
رَسُولٞ
rasool;
a Messenger
قَدۡ
q̣ad
certainly
خَلَتۡ
khalat
had passed
مِن
miñ
from
قَبۡلِهِ
q̣ablihir
before him
ٱلرُّسُلُ
rusul.
the Messengers
وَأُمُّهُۥ
Wa-ʹummuhoo
And his mother
صِدِّيقَةٞۖ
S̤iddeeq̣ah.
(was) truthful
كَانَا
Kaanaa
They both used to
يَأۡكُلَانِ
yaʹ-kulaaniṭ
eat
ٱلطَّعَامَۗ
ṭaʻaam.
[the] food
ٱنظُرۡ
ʹUñz̤̣ur
See
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
نُبَيِّنُ
nubayyinu
We make clear
لَهُمُ
lahumul
to them
ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ
ʹaayaati
the Signs
ثُمَّ
s̤ummañ
then
ٱنظُرۡ
z̤̣ur
see
أَنَّىٰ
annaa
how
يُؤۡفَكُونَ
yuʹfakoon!
they are deluded
٧٥
