ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ
al-qur'anu
the Quran
تُبۡدَ
tub'da
it would be made clear
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
عَفَا
afa
has (been) pardoned
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(by) Allah
عَنۡهَاۗ
anha
[about] it
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
and Allah
غَفُورٌ
ghafurun
(is) Oft-Forgiving
حَلِيمٞ
halimun
All-Forbearing
١٠١
5:102
قَدۡ
qad
Indeed
سَأَلَهَا
sa-alaha
asked them
قَوۡمٞ
qawmun
a people
مِّن
min
from
قَبۡلِكُمۡ
qablikum
before you
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
أَصۡبَحُواْ
asbahu
they became
بِهَا
biha
thereby
كَٰفِرِينَ
kafirina
disbelievers
١٠٢
5:103
مَا
ma
Not
جَعَلَ
ja'ala
has (been) made
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(by) Allah
مِنۢ
min
of
بَحِيرَةٖ
bahiratin
a Bahirah
وَلَا
wala
and not
سَآئِبَةٖ
saibatin
a Saibah
وَلَا
wala
and not
وَصِيلَةٖ
wasilatin
a Wasilah
وَلَا
wala
and not
حَامٖ
hamin
a Hami
وَلَٰكِنَّ
walakinna
[And] but
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieved
يَفۡتَرُونَ
yaftaruna
they invent
عَلَى
ala
against
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
ٱلۡكَذِبَۖ
al-kadhiba
the lie
وَأَكۡثَرُهُمۡ
wa-aktharuhum
and most of them
لَا
la
(do) not
يَعۡقِلُونَ
ya'qiluna
use reason

وَإِذَا
wa-idha
And when
قِيلَ
qila
it is said
لَهُمۡ
lahum
to them
تَعَالَوۡاْ
ta'alaw
Come
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
مَآ
ma
what
أَنزَلَ
anzala
has (been) revealed
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(by) Allah
وَإِلَى
wa-ila
and to
ٱلرَّسُولِ
al-rasuli
the Messenger
قَالُواْ
qalu
they said
حَسۡبُنَا
hasbuna
Sufficient for us
مَا
ma
(is) what
وَجَدۡنَا
wajadna
we found
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
upon it
ءَابَآءَنَآۚ
abaana
our forefathers
أَوَلَوۡ
awalaw
Even though
كَانَ
kana
(that)
ءَابَآؤُهُمۡ
abauhum
their forefathers
لَا
la
(were) not
يَعۡلَمُونَ
ya'lamuna
knowing
شَيۡـٔٗا
shayan
anything
وَلَا
wala
and not
يَهۡتَدُونَ
yahtaduna
they (were) guided
١٠٤
5:105
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
alaykum
Upon you
أَنفُسَكُمۡۖ
anfusakum
(is to guard) yourselves
لَا
la
Not
يَضُرُّكُم
yadurrukum
will harm you
مَّن
man
(those) who
ضَلَّ
dalla
(have gone) astray
إِذَا
idha
when
ٱهۡتَدَيۡتُمۡۚ
ih'tadaytum
you have been guided
إِلَى
ila
To
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
مَرۡجِعُكُمۡ
marji'ukum
(is) your return
جَمِيعٗا
jami'an
all
فَيُنَبِّئُكُم
fayunabbi-ukum
then He will inform you
بِمَا
bima
of what
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
you used to
تَعۡمَلُونَ
ta'maluna
do
١٠٥
5:106
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
شَهَٰدَةُ
shahadatu
(Take) testimony
بَيۡنِكُمۡ
baynikum
among you
إِذَا
idha
when
حَضَرَ
hadara
approaches
أَحَدَكُمُ
ahadakumu
one of you
ٱلۡمَوۡتُ
al-mawtu
[the] death
حِينَ
hina
(at the) time (of making)
ٱلۡوَصِيَّةِ
al-wasiyati
[the] a will
ٱثۡنَانِ
ith'nani
two
ذَوَا
dhawa
men
عَدۡلٖ
adlin
just
مِّنكُمۡ
minkum
among you
أَوۡ
aw
or
ءَاخَرَانِ
akharani
two others
مِنۡ
min
from
غَيۡرِكُمۡ
ghayrikum
other than you
إِنۡ
in
if
أَنتُمۡ
antum
you
ضَرَبۡتُمۡ
darabtum
(are) travel(ing)
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
فَأَصَٰبَتۡكُم
fa-asabatkum
then befalls you
مُّصِيبَةُ
musibatu
calamity
ٱلۡمَوۡتِۚ
al-mawti
(of) [the] death
تَحۡبِسُونَهُمَا
tahbisunahuma
Detain both of them
مِنۢ
min
from
بَعۡدِ
ba'di
after
ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ
al-salati
the prayer
فَيُقۡسِمَانِ
fayuq'simani
and let them both swear
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
by Allah
إِنِ
ini
if
ٱرۡتَبۡتُمۡ
ir'tabtum
you doubt
لَا
la
Not
نَشۡتَرِي
nashtari
we will exchange
بِهِۦ
bihi
it for
ثَمَنٗا
thamanan
a price
وَلَوۡ
walaw
even if
كَانَ
kana
he is
ذَا
dha
(of)
قُرۡبَىٰ
qur'ba
a near relative
وَلَا
wala
and not
نَكۡتُمُ
naktumu
we will conceal
شَهَٰدَةَ
shahadata
testimony
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
إِنَّآ
inna
Indeed we
إِذٗا
idhan
then
لَّمِنَ
lamina
(will) surely (be) of
ٱلۡأٓثِمِينَ
al-athimina
the sinners
١٠٦
5:107
فَإِنۡ
fa-in
Then if
عُثِرَ
uthira
it is discovered
عَلَىٰٓ
ala
(on)
أَنَّهُمَا
annahuma
that the two
ٱسۡتَحَقَّآ
is'tahaqqa
(were) guilty
إِثۡمٗا
ith'man
(of) sin
فَـَٔاخَرَانِ
faakharani
then (let) two others
يَقُومَانِ
yaqumani
stand
مَقَامَهُمَا
maqamahuma
(in) their place
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ٱسۡتَحَقَّ
is'tahaqqa
have a lawful right
عَلَيۡهِمُ
alayhimu
over them
ٱلۡأَوۡلَيَٰنِ
al-awlayani
the former two
فَيُقۡسِمَانِ
fayuq'simani
and let them both swear
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
by Allah
لَشَهَٰدَتُنَآ
lashahadatuna
Surely our testimony
أَحَقُّ
ahaqqu
(is) truer
مِن
min
than
شَهَٰدَتِهِمَا
shahadatihima
testimony of the other two
وَمَا
wama
and not
ٱعۡتَدَيۡنَآ
i'tadayna
we have transgressed
إِنَّآ
inna
Indeed we
إِذٗا
idhan
then
لَّمِنَ
lamina
(will be) of
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
al-zalimina
the wrongdoers
١٠٧
5:108
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
أَدۡنَىٰٓ
adna
(is) closer
أَن
an
that
يَأۡتُواْ
yatu
they will give
بِٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ
bil-shahadati
the testimony
عَلَىٰ
ala
in
وَجۡهِهَآ
wajhiha
its (true) form
أَوۡ
aw
or
يَخَافُوٓاْ
yakhafu
they would fear
أَن
an
that
تُرَدَّ
turadda
will be refuted
أَيۡمَٰنُۢ
aymanun
their oaths
بَعۡدَ
ba'da
after
أَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡۗ
aymanihim
their (others) oaths
وَٱتَّقُواْ
wa-ittaqu
And fear
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَٱسۡمَعُواْۗ
wa-is'ma'u
and listen
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
and Allah
لَا
la
(does) not
يَهۡدِي
yahdi
guide
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ
al-qawma
the people
ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ
al-fasiqina
the defiantly disobedient
١٠٨

5:109
۞يَوۡمَ
yawma
(The) day
يَجۡمَعُ
yajma'u
will (be) gathered
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(by) Allah
ٱلرُّسُلَ
al-rusula
the Messengers
فَيَقُولُ
fayaqulu
and He will say
مَاذَآ
madha
What
أُجِبۡتُمۡۖ
ujib'tum
was (the) response you received
قَالُواْ
qalu
They said
لَا
la
(There is) no
عِلۡمَ
il'ma
knowledge
لَنَآۖ
lana
for us
إِنَّكَ
innaka
Indeed You
أَنتَ
anta
You
عَلَّٰمُ
allamu
(are the) Knower
ٱلۡغُيُوبِ
al-ghuyubi
(of) the unseen
١٠٩
5:110
إِذۡ
idh
When
قَالَ
qala
said
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
يَٰعِيسَى
ya'isa
O Isa
ٱبۡنَ
ib'na
son
مَرۡيَمَ
maryama
(of) Maryam
ٱذۡكُرۡ
udh'kur
Remember
نِعۡمَتِي
ni'mati
My Favor
عَلَيۡكَ
alayka
upon you
وَعَلَىٰ
wa'ala
and upon
وَٰلِدَتِكَ
walidatika
your mother
إِذۡ
idh
when
أَيَّدتُّكَ
ayyadttuka
I strengthened you
بِرُوحِ
biruhi
with (the) Spirit
ٱلۡقُدُسِ
al-qudusi
the Holy
تُكَلِّمُ
tukallimu
you spoke
ٱلنَّاسَ
al-nasa
(to) the people
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡمَهۡدِ
al-mahdi
the cradle
وَكَهۡلٗاۖ
wakahlan
and (in) maturity
وَإِذۡ
wa-idh
And when
عَلَّمۡتُكَ
allamtuka
I taught you
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
al-kitaba
the Book
وَٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ
wal-hik'mata
and the wisdom
وَٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةَ
wal-tawrata
and the Taurat
وَٱلۡإِنجِيلَۖ
wal-injila
and the Injeel
وَإِذۡ
wa-idh
and when
تَخۡلُقُ
takhluqu
you make
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱلطِّينِ
al-tini
the clay
كَهَيۡـَٔةِ
kahayati
like the shape
ٱلطَّيۡرِ
al-tayri
(of) the bird
بِإِذۡنِي
bi-idh'ni
by My permission
فَتَنفُخُ
fatanfukhu
then you breath
فِيهَا
fiha
into it
فَتَكُونُ
fatakunu
and it becomes
طَيۡرَۢا
tayran
a bird
بِإِذۡنِيۖ
bi-idh'ni
by My permission
وَتُبۡرِئُ
watub'ri-u
and you heal
ٱلۡأَكۡمَهَ
al-akmaha
the born blind
وَٱلۡأَبۡرَصَ
wal-abrasa
and the leper
بِإِذۡنِيۖ
bi-idh'ni
by My permission
وَإِذۡ
wa-idh
and when
تُخۡرِجُ
tukh'riju
you bring forth
ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ
al-mawta
the dead
بِإِذۡنِيۖ
bi-idh'ni
by My permission
وَإِذۡ
wa-idh
And when
كَفَفۡتُ
kafaftu
I restrained
بَنِيٓ
bani
(the) Children
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
is'raila
(of) Israel
عَنكَ
anka
from you
إِذۡ
idh
when
جِئۡتَهُم
ji'tahum
you came to them
بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ
bil-bayinati
with the clear proofs
فَقَالَ
faqala
then said
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieved
مِنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
among them
إِنۡ
in
Not
هَٰذَآ
hadha
(is) this
إِلَّا
illa
but
سِحۡرٞ
sih'run
magic
مُّبِينٞ
mubinun
clear
١١٠
5:111
وَإِذۡ
wa-idh
And when
أَوۡحَيۡتُ
awhaytu
I inspired
إِلَى
ila
to
ٱلۡحَوَارِيِّـۧنَ
al-hawariyina
the disciples
أَنۡ
an
to
ءَامِنُواْ
aminu
believe
بِي
bi
in Me
وَبِرَسُولِي
wabirasuli
and in My Messenger
قَالُوٓاْ
qalu
they said
ءَامَنَّا
amanna
We believe
وَٱشۡهَدۡ
wa-ish'had
and bear witness
بِأَنَّنَا
bi-annana
that indeed we
مُسۡلِمُونَ
mus'limuna
(are) Muslims
١١١
5:112
إِذۡ
idh
When
قَالَ
qala
said
ٱلۡحَوَارِيُّونَ
al-hawariyuna
the disciples
يَٰعِيسَى
ya'isa
O Isa
ٱبۡنَ
ib'na
son
مَرۡيَمَ
maryama
(of) Maryam
هَلۡ
hal
Is
يَسۡتَطِيعُ
yastati'u
able
رَبُّكَ
rabbuka
your Lord
أَن
an
to
يُنَزِّلَ
yunazzila
send down
عَلَيۡنَا
alayna
to us
مَآئِدَةٗ
maidatan
a table spread
مِّنَ
mina
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِۖ
al-samai
the heaven
قَالَ
qala
He said
ٱتَّقُواْ
ittaqu
Fear
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
إِن
in
if
كُنتُم
kuntum
you are
مُّؤۡمِنِينَ
mu'minina
believers
١١٢
5:113
قَالُواْ
qalu
They said
نُرِيدُ
nuridu
We wish
أَن
an
that
نَّأۡكُلَ
nakula
we eat
مِنۡهَا
min'ha
from it
وَتَطۡمَئِنَّ
watatma-inna
and satisfy
قُلُوبُنَا
qulubuna
our hearts
وَنَعۡلَمَ
wana'lama
and we know
أَن
an
that
قَدۡ
qad
certainly
صَدَقۡتَنَا
sadaqtana
you have spoken the truth to us
وَنَكُونَ
wanakuna
and we be
عَلَيۡهَا
alayha
over it
مِنَ
mina
among
ٱلشَّٰهِدِينَ
al-shahidina
the witnesses
١١٣

قَالَ
qala
Said
عِيسَى
isa
Isa
ٱبۡنُ
ub'nu
son
مَرۡيَمَ
maryama
(of) Maryam
ٱللَّهُمَّ
al-lahuma
O Allah
رَبَّنَآ
rabbana
our Lord
أَنزِلۡ
anzil
send down
عَلَيۡنَا
alayna
to us
مَآئِدَةٗ
maidatan
a table spread
مِّنَ
mina
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
al-samai
the heaven
تَكُونُ
takunu
to be
لَنَا
lana
for us
عِيدٗا
idan
a festival
لِّأَوَّلِنَا
li-awwalina
for first of us
وَءَاخِرِنَا
waakhirina
and last of us
وَءَايَةٗ
waayatan
and a sign
مِّنكَۖ
minka
from You
وَٱرۡزُقۡنَا
wa-ur'zuq'na
And provide us
وَأَنتَ
wa-anta
and You
خَيۡرُ
khayru
(are) best
ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ
al-raziqina
(of) the providers
١١٤
5:115
قَالَ
qala
Said
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
إِنِّي
inni
Indeed I
مُنَزِّلُهَا
munazziluha
(will) send it down
عَلَيۡكُمۡۖ
alaykum
to you
فَمَن
faman
then whoever
يَكۡفُرۡ
yakfur
disbelieves
بَعۡدُ
ba'du
after (that)
مِنكُمۡ
minkum
among you
فَإِنِّيٓ
fa-inni
then indeed I
أُعَذِّبُهُۥ
u'adhibuhu
[I] will punish him
عَذَابٗا
adhaban
(with) a punishment
لَّآ
la
not
أُعَذِّبُهُۥٓ
u'adhibuhu
I have punished
أَحَدٗا
ahadan
anyone
مِّنَ
mina
among
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
al-'alamina
the worlds
١١٥
5:116
وَإِذۡ
wa-idh
And when
قَالَ
qala
said
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
يَٰعِيسَى
ya'isa
O Isa
ٱبۡنَ
ib'na
son
مَرۡيَمَ
maryama
(of) Maryam
ءَأَنتَ
a-anta
Did you
قُلۡتَ
qul'ta
say
لِلنَّاسِ
lilnnasi
to the people
ٱتَّخِذُونِي
ittakhidhuni
Take me
وَأُمِّيَ
wa-ummiya
and my mother
إِلَٰهَيۡنِ
ilahayni
(as) two gods
مِن
min
from
دُونِ
duni
besides
ٱللَّهِۖ
al-lahi
Allah
قَالَ
qala
He said
سُبۡحَٰنَكَ
sub'hanaka
Glory be to You
مَا
ma
Not
يَكُونُ
yakunu
was
لِيٓ
li
for me
أَنۡ
an
that
أَقُولَ
aqula
I say
مَا
ma
what
لَيۡسَ
laysa
not
لِي
li
I
بِحَقٍّۚ
bihaqqin
(had) right
إِن
in
If
كُنتُ
kuntu
I had
قُلۡتُهُۥ
qul'tuhu
said it
فَقَدۡ
faqad
then surely
عَلِمۡتَهُۥۚ
alim'tahu
You would have known it
تَعۡلَمُ
ta'lamu
You know
مَا
ma
what
فِي
fi
(is) in
نَفۡسِي
nafsi
myself
وَلَآ
wala
and not
أَعۡلَمُ
a'lamu
I know
مَا
ma
what
فِي
fi
(is) in
نَفۡسِكَۚ
nafsika
Yourself
إِنَّكَ
innaka
Indeed You
أَنتَ
anta
You
عَلَّٰمُ
allamu
(are) All-Knower
ٱلۡغُيُوبِ
al-ghuyubi
(of) the unseen
١١٦
5:117
مَا
ma
Not
قُلۡتُ
qul'tu
I said
لَهُمۡ
lahum
to them
إِلَّا
illa
except
مَآ
ma
what
أَمَرۡتَنِي
amartani
You commanded me
بِهِۦٓ
bihi
[with it]
أَنِ
ani
that
ٱعۡبُدُواْ
u'budu
You worship
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
رَبِّي
rabbi
my Lord
وَرَبَّكُمۡۚ
warabbakum
and your Lord
وَكُنتُ
wakuntu
And I was
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
alayhim
over them
شَهِيدٗا
shahidan
a witness
مَّا
ma
that
دُمۡتُ
dum'tu
as long as I
فِيهِمۡۖ
fihim
(was) among them
فَلَمَّا
falamma
then when
تَوَفَّيۡتَنِي
tawaffaytani
You raised me
كُنتَ
kunta
You were
أَنتَ
anta
[You]
ٱلرَّقِيبَ
al-raqiba
the Watcher
عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ
alayhim
over them
وَأَنتَ
wa-anta
and You
عَلَىٰ
ala
(are) on
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
thing
شَهِيدٌ
shahidun
a Witness
١١٧
5:118
إِن
in
If
تُعَذِّبۡهُمۡ
tu'adhib'hum
You punish them
فَإِنَّهُمۡ
fa-innahum
then indeed they
عِبَادُكَۖ
ibaduka
(are) Your slaves
وَإِن
wa-in
and if
تَغۡفِرۡ
taghfir
You forgive
لَهُمۡ
lahum
[for] them
فَإِنَّكَ
fa-innaka
then indeed You
أَنتَ
anta
You
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
al-'azizu
(are) the All-Mighty
ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
al-hakimu
the All-Wise
١١٨
5:119
قَالَ
qala
Will say
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
هَٰذَا
hadha
This
يَوۡمُ
yawmu
Day
يَنفَعُ
yanfa'u
will profit
ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
al-sadiqina
the truthful
صِدۡقُهُمۡۚ
sid'quhum
their truthfulness
لَهُمۡ
lahum
For them
جَنَّٰتٞ
jannatun
(are) Gardens
تَجۡرِي
tajri
flows
مِن
min
from
تَحۡتِهَا
tahtiha
underneath it
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ
al-anharu
the rivers
خَٰلِدِينَ
khalidina
will abide
فِيهَآ
fiha
in it
أَبَدٗاۖ
abadan
forever
رَّضِيَ
radiya
is pleased
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
عَنۡهُمۡ
anhum
with them
وَرَضُواْ
waradu
and they are pleased
عَنۡهُۚ
anhu
with Him
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
ٱلۡفَوۡزُ
al-fawzu
(is) the success
ٱلۡعَظِيمُ
al-'azimu
(the) great
١١٩
5:120
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
To Allah (belongs)
مُلۡكُ
mul'ku
the dominion
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
wal-ardi
and the earth
وَمَا
wama
and what
فِيهِنَّۚ
fihinna
(is) in them
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
And He
عَلَىٰ
ala
(is) on
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
thing
قَدِيرُۢ
qadirun
All-Powerful
١٢٠
