ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
bi-annahum
(is) because they
قَالُواْ
qalu
[they] said
لِلَّذِينَ
lilladhina
to those who
كَرِهُواْ
karihu
hate
مَا
ma
what
نَزَّلَ
nazzala
Allah has revealed
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah has revealed
سَنُطِيعُكُمۡ
sanuti'ukum
We will obey you
فِي
fi
in
بَعۡضِ
ba'di
part
ٱلۡأَمۡرِۖ
al-amri
(of) the matter
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
But Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
ya'lamu
knows
إِسۡرَارَهُمۡ
is'rarahum
their secrets
٢٦
47:27
فَكَيۡفَ
fakayfa
Then how
إِذَا
idha
when
تَوَفَّتۡهُمُ
tawaffathumu
take them in death
ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
al-malaikatu
the Angels
يَضۡرِبُونَ
yadribuna
striking
وُجُوهَهُمۡ
wujuhahum
their faces
وَأَدۡبَٰرَهُمۡ
wa-adbarahum
and their backs
٢٧
47:28
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
بِأَنَّهُمُ
bi-annahumu
(is) because they
ٱتَّبَعُواْ
ittaba'u
followed
مَآ
ma
what
أَسۡخَطَ
askhata
angered
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَكَرِهُواْ
wakarihu
and hated
رِضۡوَٰنَهُۥ
rid'wanahu
His pleasure
فَأَحۡبَطَ
fa-ahbata
so He made worthless
أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
a'malahum
their deeds
٢٨
47:29
أَمۡ
am
Or do
حَسِبَ
hasiba
think
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
فِي
fi
in
قُلُوبِهِم
qulubihim
their hearts
مَّرَضٌ
maradun
(is) a disease
أَن
an
that
لَّن
lan
never
يُخۡرِجَ
yukh'rija
will Allah bring forth
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
will Allah bring forth
أَضۡغَٰنَهُمۡ
adghanahum
their hatred

47:30
وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
نَشَآءُ
nashau
We willed
لَأَرَيۡنَٰكَهُمۡ
la-araynakahum
surely We could show them to you
فَلَعَرَفۡتَهُم
fala'araftahum
and you would know them
بِسِيمَٰهُمۡۚ
bisimahum
by their marks
وَلَتَعۡرِفَنَّهُمۡ
walata'rifannahum
but surely you will know them
فِي
fi
by
لَحۡنِ
lahni
(the) tone
ٱلۡقَوۡلِۚ
al-qawli
(of their) speech
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
ya'lamu
knows
أَعۡمَٰلَكُمۡ
a'malakum
your deeds
٣٠
47:31
وَلَنَبۡلُوَنَّكُمۡ
walanabluwannakum
And surely We will test you
حَتَّىٰ
hatta
until
نَعۡلَمَ
na'lama
We make evident
ٱلۡمُجَٰهِدِينَ
al-mujahidina
those who strive
مِنكُمۡ
minkum
among you
وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ
wal-sabirina
and the patient ones
وَنَبۡلُوَاْ
wanabluwa
and We will test
أَخۡبَارَكُمۡ
akhbarakum
your affairs

47:32
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieve
وَصَدُّواْ
wasaddu
and turn away
عَن
an
from
سَبِيلِ
sabili
(the) way of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(the) way of Allah
وَشَآقُّواْ
washaqqu
and oppose
ٱلرَّسُولَ
al-rasula
the Messenger
مِنۢ
min
after
بَعۡدِ
ba'di
after
مَا
ma
[what]
تَبَيَّنَ
tabayyana
(has been) made clear
لَهُمُ
lahumu
to them
ٱلۡهُدَىٰ
al-huda
the guidance
لَن
lan
never
يَضُرُّواْ
yadurru
will they harm
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
شَيۡـٔٗا
shayan
(in) anything
وَسَيُحۡبِطُ
wasayuh'bitu
and He will make worthless
أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
a'malahum
their deeds
٣٢
47:33
۞يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
O you who believe
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
amanu
O you who believe
أَطِيعُواْ
ati'u
Obey
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَأَطِيعُواْ
wa-ati'u
and obey
ٱلرَّسُولَ
al-rasula
the Messenger
وَلَا
wala
and (do) not
تُبۡطِلُوٓاْ
tub'tilu
make vain
أَعۡمَٰلَكُمۡ
a'malakum
your deeds
٣٣
47:34
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieve
وَصَدُّواْ
wasaddu
and turn away
عَن
an
from
سَبِيلِ
sabili
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
مَاتُواْ
matu
died
وَهُمۡ
wahum
while they
كُفَّارٞ
kuffarun
(were) disbelievers
فَلَن
falan
never
يَغۡفِرَ
yaghfira
will Allah forgive
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
will Allah forgive
لَهُمۡ
lahum
them
٣٤
47:35
فَلَا
fala
So (do) not
تَهِنُواْ
tahinu
weaken
وَتَدۡعُوٓاْ
watad'u
and call
إِلَى
ila
for
ٱلسَّلۡمِ
al-salmi
peace
وَأَنتُمُ
wa-antumu
while you
ٱلۡأَعۡلَوۡنَ
al-a'lawna
(are) superior
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
and Allah
مَعَكُمۡ
ma'akum
(is) with you
وَلَن
walan
and never
يَتِرَكُمۡ
yatirakum
will deprive you
أَعۡمَٰلَكُمۡ
a'malakum
(of) your deeds
٣٥
47:36
إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ
al-hayatu
the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
al-dun'ya
(of) the world
لَعِبٞ
la'ibun
(is) play
وَلَهۡوٞۚ
walahwun
and amusement
وَإِن
wa-in
And if
تُؤۡمِنُواْ
tu'minu
you believe
وَتَتَّقُواْ
watattaqu
and fear (Allah)
يُؤۡتِكُمۡ
yu'tikum
He will give you
أُجُورَكُمۡ
ujurakum
your rewards
وَلَا
wala
and not
يَسۡـَٔلۡكُمۡ
yasalkum
will ask you
أَمۡوَٰلَكُمۡ
amwalakum
(for) your wealth
٣٦
47:37
إِن
in
If
يَسۡـَٔلۡكُمُوهَا
yasalkumuha
He were to ask you for it
فَيُحۡفِكُمۡ
fayuh'fikum
and press you
تَبۡخَلُواْ
tabkhalu
you will withhold
وَيُخۡرِجۡ
wayukh'rij
and He will bring forth
أَضۡغَٰنَكُمۡ
adghanakum
your hatred
٣٧
47:38
هَٰٓأَنتُمۡ
haantum
Here you are
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haulai
these
تُدۡعَوۡنَ
tud'awna
called
لِتُنفِقُواْ
litunfiqu
to spend
فِي
fi
in
سَبِيلِ
sabili
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
فَمِنكُم
faminkum
but among you
مَّن
man
(are some) who
يَبۡخَلُۖ
yabkhalu
withhold
وَمَن
waman
and whoever
يَبۡخَلۡ
yabkhal
withholds
فَإِنَّمَا
fa-innama
then only
يَبۡخَلُ
yabkhalu
he withholds
عَن
an
from
نَّفۡسِهِۦۚ
nafsihi
himself
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
But Allah
ٱلۡغَنِيُّ
al-ghaniyu
(is) Free of need
وَأَنتُمُ
wa-antumu
while you
ٱلۡفُقَرَآءُۚ
al-fuqarau
(are) the needy
وَإِن
wa-in
And if
تَتَوَلَّوۡاْ
tatawallaw
you turn away
يَسۡتَبۡدِلۡ
yastabdil
He will replace you
قَوۡمًا
qawman
(with) a people
غَيۡرَكُمۡ
ghayrakum
other than you
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
لَا
la
not
يَكُونُوٓاْ
yakunu
they will be
أَمۡثَٰلَكُم
amthalakum
(the) likes of you
٣٨
