ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(the) way of Allah
أَضَلَّ

He will cause to be lost
أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
a'malahum
their deeds
١
47:2
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
And those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
وَعَمِلُواْ
wa'amilu
and do
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
al-salihati
righteous deeds
وَءَامَنُواْ
waamanu
and believe
بِمَا
bima
in what
نُزِّلَ
nuzzila
is revealed
عَلَىٰ
ala
to
مُحَمَّدٖ
muhammadin
Muhammad
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
and it
ٱلۡحَقُّ
al-haqu
(is) the truth
مِن
min
from
رَّبِّهِمۡ
rabbihim
their Lord
كَفَّرَ
kaffara
He will remove
عَنۡهُمۡ
anhum
from them
سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمۡ
sayyiatihim
their misdeeds
وَأَصۡلَحَ
wa-aslaha
and improve
بَالَهُمۡ
balahum
their condition
٢
47:3
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
بِأَنَّ
bi-anna
(is) because
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieve
ٱتَّبَعُواْ
ittaba'u
follow
ٱلۡبَٰطِلَ
al-batila
falsehood
وَأَنَّ
wa-anna
and that
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
ٱتَّبَعُواْ
ittaba'u
follow
ٱلۡحَقَّ
al-haqa
(the) truth
مِن
min
from
رَّبِّهِمۡۚ
rabbihim
their Lord
كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhalika
Thus
يَضۡرِبُ
yadribu
Allah presents
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah presents
لِلنَّاسِ
lilnnasi
to the people
أَمۡثَٰلَهُمۡ
amthalahum
their similitudes
٣
47:4
فَإِذَا
fa-idha
So when
لَقِيتُمُ
laqitumu
you meet
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieve
فَضَرۡبَ
fadarba
then strike
ٱلرِّقَابِ
al-riqabi
the necks
حَتَّىٰٓ
hatta
until
إِذَآ
idha
when
أَثۡخَنتُمُوهُمۡ
athkhantumuhum
you have subdued them
فَشُدُّواْ
fashuddu
then bind firmly
ٱلۡوَثَاقَ
al-wathaqa
the bond
فَإِمَّا
fa-imma
then either
مَنَّۢا
mannan
a favor
بَعۡدُ
ba'du
afterwards
وَإِمَّا
wa-imma
or
فِدَآءً
fidaan
ransom
حَتَّىٰ
hatta
until
تَضَعَ
tada'a
lays down
ٱلۡحَرۡبُ
al-harbu
the war
أَوۡزَارَهَاۚ
awzaraha
its burdens
ذَٰلِكَۖ
dhalika
That
وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
يَشَآءُ
yashau
Allah had willed
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah had willed
لَٱنتَصَرَ
la-intasara
surely He could have taken retribution
مِنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
from them
وَلَٰكِن
walakin
but
لِّيَبۡلُوَاْ
liyabluwa
to test
بَعۡضَكُم
ba'dakum
some of you
بِبَعۡضٖۗ
biba'din
with others
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
And those who
قُتِلُواْ
qutilu
are killed
فِي
fi
in
سَبِيلِ
sabili
(the) way of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(the) way of Allah
فَلَن
falan
then never
يُضِلَّ
yudilla
He will cause to be lost
أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
a'malahum
their deeds
٤
47:5
سَيَهۡدِيهِمۡ
sayahdihim
He will guide them
وَيُصۡلِحُ
wayus'lihu
and improve
بَالَهُمۡ
balahum
their condition
٥
47:6
وَيُدۡخِلُهُمُ
wayud'khiluhumu
And admit them
ٱلۡجَنَّةَ
al-janata
(to) Paradise
عَرَّفَهَا
arrafaha
He has made it known
لَهُمۡ
lahum
to them
٦
47:7
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
O you who believe
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
amanu
O you who believe
إِن
in
If
تَنصُرُواْ
tansuru
you help
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
يَنصُرۡكُمۡ
yansur'kum
He will help you
وَيُثَبِّتۡ
wayuthabbit
and make firm
أَقۡدَامَكُمۡ
aqdamakum
your feet
٧
47:8
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
But those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieve
فَتَعۡسٗا
fata'san
destruction (is)
لَّهُمۡ
lahum
for them
وَأَضَلَّ
wa-adalla
and He will cause to be lost
أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
a'malahum
their deeds
٨
47:9
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
bi-annahum
(is) because they
كَرِهُواْ
karihu
hate
مَآ
ma
what
أَنزَلَ
anzala
Allah has revealed
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah has revealed
فَأَحۡبَطَ
fa-ahbata
so He has made worthless
أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
a'malahum
their deeds
٩
47:10
۞أَفَلَمۡ
afalam
Do not
يَسِيرُواْ
yasiru
they travel
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
فَيَنظُرُواْ
fayanzuru
and see
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
كَانَ
kana
was
عَٰقِبَةُ
aqibatu
(the) end
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(of) those
مِن
min
before them
قَبۡلِهِمۡۖ
qablihim
before them
دَمَّرَ
dammara
Allah destroyed
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah destroyed
عَلَيۡهِمۡۖ
alayhim
[over] them
وَلِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
walil'kafirina
and for the disbelievers
أَمۡثَٰلُهَا
amthaluha
its likeness
١٠
47:11
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
بِأَنَّ
bi-anna
(is) because
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
مَوۡلَى
mawla
(is the) Protector
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(of) those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
وَأَنَّ
wa-anna
and that
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
al-kafirina
the disbelievers
لَا
la
(there is) no
مَوۡلَىٰ
mawla
protector
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
١١

47:12
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
يُدۡخِلُ
yud'khilu
will admit
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
وَعَمِلُواْ
wa'amilu
and do
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
al-salihati
righteous deeds
جَنَّٰتٖ
jannatin
(to) Gardens
تَجۡرِي
tajri
flow
مِن
min
from
تَحۡتِهَا
tahtiha
underneath it
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُۖ
al-anharu
the rivers
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
but those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieve
يَتَمَتَّعُونَ
yatamatta'una
they enjoy
وَيَأۡكُلُونَ
wayakuluna
and eat
كَمَا
kama
as
تَأۡكُلُ
takulu
eat
ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمُ
al-an'amu
the cattle
وَٱلنَّارُ
wal-naru
and the Fire
مَثۡوٗى
mathwan
(will be) an abode
لَّهُمۡ
lahum
for them
١٢
47:13
وَكَأَيِّن
waka-ayyin
And how many
مِّن
min
of
قَرۡيَةٍ
qaryatin
a town
هِيَ
hiya
which
أَشَدُّ
ashaddu
(was) stronger
قُوَّةٗ
quwwatan
(in) strength
مِّن
min
than
قَرۡيَتِكَ
qaryatika
your town
ٱلَّتِيٓ
allati
which
أَخۡرَجَتۡكَ
akhrajatka
has driven you out
أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُمۡ
ahlaknahum
We destroyed them
فَلَا
fala
so no
نَاصِرَ
nasira
helper
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
١٣
47:14
أَفَمَن
afaman
Then is (he) who
كَانَ
kana
is
عَلَىٰ
ala
on
بَيِّنَةٖ
bayyinatin
a clear proof
مِّن
min
from
رَّبِّهِۦ
rabbihi
his Lord
كَمَن
kaman
like (he) who
زُيِّنَ
zuyyina
is made attractive
لَهُۥ
lahu
to him
سُوٓءُ
suu
(the) evil
عَمَلِهِۦ
amalihi
(of) his deeds
وَٱتَّبَعُوٓاْ
wa-ittaba'u
while they follow
أَهۡوَآءَهُم
ahwaahum
their desires
١٤
47:15
مَّثَلُ
mathalu
A parable
ٱلۡجَنَّةِ
al-janati
(of) Paradise
ٱلَّتِي
allati
which
وُعِدَ
wu'ida
is promised
ٱلۡمُتَّقُونَۖ
al-mutaquna
(to) the righteous
فِيهَآ
fiha
Therein
أَنۡهَٰرٞ
anharun
(are) rivers
مِّن
min
of
مَّآءٍ
main
water
غَيۡرِ
ghayri
not
ءَاسِنٖ
asinin
polluted
وَأَنۡهَٰرٞ
wa-anharun
and rivers
مِّن
min
of
لَّبَنٖ
labanin
milk
لَّمۡ
lam
not
يَتَغَيَّرۡ
yataghayyar
changes
طَعۡمُهُۥ
ta'muhu
its taste
وَأَنۡهَٰرٞ
wa-anharun
and rivers
مِّنۡ
min
of
خَمۡرٖ
khamrin
wine
لَّذَّةٖ
ladhatin
delicious
لِّلشَّٰرِبِينَ
lilsharibina
for (the) drinkers
وَأَنۡهَٰرٞ
wa-anharun
and rivers
مِّنۡ
min
of
عَسَلٖ
asalin
honey
مُّصَفّٗىۖ
musaffan
purified
وَلَهُمۡ
walahum
and for them
فِيهَا
fiha
therein
مِن
min
of
كُلِّ
kulli
all
ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ
al-thamarati
fruits
وَمَغۡفِرَةٞ
wamaghfiratun
and forgiveness
مِّن
min
from
رَّبِّهِمۡۖ
rabbihim
their Lord
كَمَنۡ
kaman
like he who
هُوَ
huwa
like he who
خَٰلِدٞ
khalidun
(will) abide forever
فِي
fi
in
ٱلنَّارِ
al-nari
the Fire
وَسُقُواْ
wasuqu
and they will be given to drink
مَآءً
maan
water
حَمِيمٗا
hamiman
boiling
فَقَطَّعَ
faqatta'a
so it cuts into pieces
أَمۡعَآءَهُمۡ
am'aahum
their intestines
١٥
47:16
وَمِنۡهُم
wamin'hum
And among them
مَّن
man
(are some) who
يَسۡتَمِعُ
yastami'u
listen
إِلَيۡكَ
ilayka
to you
حَتَّىٰٓ
hatta
until
إِذَا
idha
when
خَرَجُواْ
kharaju
they depart
مِنۡ
min
from
عِندِكَ
indika
you
قَالُواْ
qalu
they say
لِلَّذِينَ
lilladhina
to those who
أُوتُواْ
utu
were given
ٱلۡعِلۡمَ
al-'il'ma
the knowledge
مَاذَا
madha
What
قَالَ
qala
(has) he said
ءَانِفًاۚ
anifan
just now
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(are) the ones
طَبَعَ
taba'a
Allah has set a seal
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah has set a seal
عَلَىٰ
ala
upon
قُلُوبِهِمۡ
qulubihim
their hearts
وَٱتَّبَعُوٓاْ
wa-ittaba'u
and they follow
أَهۡوَآءَهُمۡ
ahwaahum
their desires
١٦
47:17
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
And those who
ٱهۡتَدَوۡاْ
ih'tadaw
accept guidance
زَادَهُمۡ
zadahum
He increases them
هُدٗى
hudan
(in) guidance
وَءَاتَىٰهُمۡ
waatahum
and gives them
تَقۡوَىٰهُمۡ
taqwahum
their righteousness
١٧
47:18
فَهَلۡ
fahal
Then do
يَنظُرُونَ
yanzuruna
they wait
إِلَّا
illa
but
ٱلسَّاعَةَ
al-sa'ata
(for) the Hour
أَن
an
that
تَأۡتِيَهُم
tatiyahum
it should come to them
بَغۡتَةٗۖ
baghtatan
suddenly
فَقَدۡ
faqad
But indeed
جَآءَ
jaa
have come
أَشۡرَاطُهَاۚ
ashratuha
its indications
فَأَنَّىٰ
fa-anna
Then how
لَهُمۡ
lahum
to them
إِذَا
idha
when
جَآءَتۡهُمۡ
jaathum
has come to them
ذِكۡرَىٰهُمۡ
dhik'rahum
their reminder
١٨
47:19
فَٱعۡلَمۡ
fa-i'lam
So know
أَنَّهُۥ
annahu
that [He]
لَآ
la
(there is) no
إِلَٰهَ
ilaha
god
إِلَّا
illa
but
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡ
wa-is'taghfir
and ask forgiveness
لِذَنۢبِكَ
lidhanbika
for your sin
وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
walil'mu'minina
and for the believing men
وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِۗ
wal-mu'minati
and the believing women
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
ya'lamu
knows
مُتَقَلَّبَكُمۡ
mutaqallabakum
your movement
وَمَثۡوَىٰكُمۡ
wamathwakum
and your resting places

47:20
وَيَقُولُ
wayaqulu
And say
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
لَوۡلَا
lawla
Why not
نُزِّلَتۡ
nuzzilat
has been revealed
سُورَةٞۖ
suratun
a Surah
فَإِذَآ
fa-idha
But when
أُنزِلَتۡ
unzilat
is revealed
سُورَةٞ
suratun
a Surah
مُّحۡكَمَةٞ
muh'kamatun
precise
وَذُكِرَ
wadhukira
and is mentioned
فِيهَا
fiha
in it
ٱلۡقِتَالُ
al-qitalu
the fighting
رَأَيۡتَ
ra-ayta
you see
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
فِي
fi
in
قُلُوبِهِم
qulubihim
their hearts
مَّرَضٞ
maradun
(is) a disease
يَنظُرُونَ
yanzuruna
looking
إِلَيۡكَ
ilayka
at you
نَظَرَ
nazara
a look
ٱلۡمَغۡشِيِّ
al-maghshiyi
(of) one fainting
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
(of) one fainting
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱلۡمَوۡتِۖ
al-mawti
the death
فَأَوۡلَىٰ
fa-awla
But more appropriate
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
٢٠
47:21
طَاعَةٞ
ta'atun
(Is) obedience
وَقَوۡلٞ
waqawlun
and a word
مَّعۡرُوفٞۚ
ma'rufun
kind
فَإِذَا
fa-idha
And when
عَزَمَ
azama
(is) determined
ٱلۡأَمۡرُ
al-amru
the matter
فَلَوۡ
falaw
then if
صَدَقُواْ
sadaqu
they had been true
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
(to) Allah
لَكَانَ
lakana
surely it would have been
خَيۡرٗا
khayran
better
لَّهُمۡ
lahum
for them
٢١
47:22
فَهَلۡ
fahal
Then would
عَسَيۡتُمۡ
asaytum
you perhaps
إِن
in
if
تَوَلَّيۡتُمۡ
tawallaytum
you are given authority
أَن
an
that
تُفۡسِدُواْ
tuf'sidu
you cause corruption
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
وَتُقَطِّعُوٓاْ
watuqatti'u
and cut off
أَرۡحَامَكُمۡ
arhamakum
your ties of kinship
٢٢
47:23
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(are) the ones
لَعَنَهُمُ
la'anahumu
Allah has cursed them
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah has cursed them
فَأَصَمَّهُمۡ
fa-asammahum
so He made them deaf
وَأَعۡمَىٰٓ
wa-a'ma
and blinded
أَبۡصَٰرَهُمۡ
absarahum
their vision
٢٣
47:24
أَفَلَا
afala
Then do not
يَتَدَبَّرُونَ
yatadabbaruna
they ponder
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ
al-qur'ana
(over) the Quran
أَمۡ
am
or
عَلَىٰ
ala
upon
قُلُوبٍ
qulubin
(their) hearts
أَقۡفَالُهَآ
aqfaluha
(are) locks
٢٤
47:25
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ٱرۡتَدُّواْ
ir'taddu
return
عَلَىٰٓ
ala
on
أَدۡبَٰرِهِم
adbarihim
their backs
مِّنۢ
min
after
بَعۡدِ
ba'di
after
مَا
ma
what
تَبَيَّنَ
tabayyana
(has) become clear
لَهُمُ
lahumu
to them
ٱلۡهُدَى
al-huda
(of) the guidance
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ
al-shaytanu
Shaitaan
سَوَّلَ
sawwala
enticed
لَهُمۡ
lahum
[for] them
وَأَمۡلَىٰ
wa-amla
and prolonged hope
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
٢٥
47:26
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
bi-annahum
(is) because they
قَالُواْ
qalu
[they] said
لِلَّذِينَ
lilladhina
to those who
كَرِهُواْ
karihu
hate
مَا
ma
what
نَزَّلَ
nazzala
Allah has revealed
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah has revealed
سَنُطِيعُكُمۡ
sanuti'ukum
We will obey you
فِي
fi
in
بَعۡضِ
ba'di
part
ٱلۡأَمۡرِۖ
al-amri
(of) the matter
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
But Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
ya'lamu
knows
إِسۡرَارَهُمۡ
is'rarahum
their secrets
٢٦
47:27
فَكَيۡفَ
fakayfa
Then how
إِذَا
idha
when
تَوَفَّتۡهُمُ
tawaffathumu
take them in death
ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
al-malaikatu
the Angels
يَضۡرِبُونَ
yadribuna
striking
وُجُوهَهُمۡ
wujuhahum
their faces
وَأَدۡبَٰرَهُمۡ
wa-adbarahum
and their backs
٢٧
47:28
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
بِأَنَّهُمُ
bi-annahumu
(is) because they
ٱتَّبَعُواْ
ittaba'u
followed
مَآ
ma
what
أَسۡخَطَ
askhata
angered
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَكَرِهُواْ
wakarihu
and hated
رِضۡوَٰنَهُۥ
rid'wanahu
His pleasure
فَأَحۡبَطَ
fa-ahbata
so He made worthless
أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
a'malahum
their deeds
٢٨
47:29
أَمۡ
am
Or do
حَسِبَ
hasiba
think
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
فِي
fi
in
قُلُوبِهِم
qulubihim
their hearts
مَّرَضٌ
maradun
(is) a disease
أَن
an
that
لَّن
lan
never
يُخۡرِجَ
yukh'rija
will Allah bring forth
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
will Allah bring forth
أَضۡغَٰنَهُمۡ
adghanahum
their hatred
٢٩

47:30
وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
نَشَآءُ
nashau
We willed
لَأَرَيۡنَٰكَهُمۡ
la-araynakahum
surely We could show them to you
فَلَعَرَفۡتَهُم
fala'araftahum
and you would know them
بِسِيمَٰهُمۡۚ
bisimahum
by their marks
وَلَتَعۡرِفَنَّهُمۡ
walata'rifannahum
but surely you will know them
فِي
fi
by
لَحۡنِ
lahni
(the) tone
ٱلۡقَوۡلِۚ
al-qawli
(of their) speech
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
ya'lamu
knows
أَعۡمَٰلَكُمۡ
a'malakum
your deeds
٣٠
47:31
وَلَنَبۡلُوَنَّكُمۡ
walanabluwannakum
And surely We will test you
حَتَّىٰ
hatta
until
نَعۡلَمَ
na'lama
We make evident
ٱلۡمُجَٰهِدِينَ
al-mujahidina
those who strive
مِنكُمۡ
minkum
among you
وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ
wal-sabirina
and the patient ones
وَنَبۡلُوَاْ
wanabluwa
and We will test
أَخۡبَارَكُمۡ
akhbarakum
your affairs
٣١
47:32
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieve
وَصَدُّواْ
wasaddu
and turn away
عَن
an
from
سَبِيلِ
sabili
(the) way of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(the) way of Allah
وَشَآقُّواْ
washaqqu
and oppose
ٱلرَّسُولَ
al-rasula
the Messenger
مِنۢ
min
after
بَعۡدِ
ba'di
after
مَا
ma
[what]
تَبَيَّنَ
tabayyana
(has been) made clear
لَهُمُ
lahumu
to them
ٱلۡهُدَىٰ
al-huda
the guidance
لَن
lan
never
يَضُرُّواْ
yadurru
will they harm
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
شَيۡـٔٗا
shayan
(in) anything
وَسَيُحۡبِطُ
wasayuh'bitu
and He will make worthless
أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
a'malahum
their deeds
٣٢
47:33
۞يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
O you who believe
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
amanu
O you who believe
أَطِيعُواْ
ati'u
Obey
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَأَطِيعُواْ
wa-ati'u
and obey
ٱلرَّسُولَ
al-rasula
the Messenger
وَلَا
wala
and (do) not
تُبۡطِلُوٓاْ
tub'tilu
make vain
أَعۡمَٰلَكُمۡ
a'malakum
your deeds
٣٣
47:34
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina

kafaru
disbelieve
وَصَدُّواْ
wasaddu
and turn away
عَن
an
from
سَبِيلِ
sabili
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
مَاتُواْ
matu
died
وَهُمۡ
wahum
while they
كُفَّارٞ
kuffarun
(were) disbelievers
فَلَن
falan
never
يَغۡفِرَ
yaghfira
will Allah forgive
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
will Allah forgive
لَهُمۡ
lahum
them
٣٤
47:35
فَلَا
fala
So (do) not
تَهِنُواْ
tahinu
weaken
وَتَدۡعُوٓاْ
watad'u
and call
إِلَى
ila
for
ٱلسَّلۡمِ
al-salmi
peace
وَأَنتُمُ
wa-antumu
while you
ٱلۡأَعۡلَوۡنَ
al-a'lawna
(are) superior
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
and Allah
مَعَكُمۡ
ma'akum
(is) with you
وَلَن
walan
and never
يَتِرَكُمۡ
yatirakum
will deprive you
أَعۡمَٰلَكُمۡ
a'malakum
(of) your deeds
٣٥
47:36
إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ
al-hayatu
the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
al-dun'ya
(of) the world
لَعِبٞ
la'ibun
(is) play
وَلَهۡوٞۚ
walahwun
and amusement
وَإِن
wa-in
And if
تُؤۡمِنُواْ
tu'minu
you believe
وَتَتَّقُواْ
watattaqu
and fear (Allah)
يُؤۡتِكُمۡ
yu'tikum
He will give you
أُجُورَكُمۡ
ujurakum
your rewards
وَلَا
wala
and not
يَسۡـَٔلۡكُمۡ
yasalkum
will ask you
أَمۡوَٰلَكُمۡ
amwalakum
(for) your wealth
٣٦
47:37
إِن
in
If
يَسۡـَٔلۡكُمُوهَا
yasalkumuha
He were to ask you for it
فَيُحۡفِكُمۡ
fayuh'fikum
and press you
تَبۡخَلُواْ
tabkhalu
you will withhold
وَيُخۡرِجۡ
wayukh'rij
and He will bring forth
أَضۡغَٰنَكُمۡ
adghanakum
your hatred
٣٧
47:38
هَٰٓأَنتُمۡ
haantum
Here you are
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haulai
these
تُدۡعَوۡنَ
tud'awna
called
لِتُنفِقُواْ
litunfiqu
to spend
فِي
fi
in
سَبِيلِ
sabili
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
فَمِنكُم
faminkum
but among you
مَّن
man
(are some) who
يَبۡخَلُۖ
yabkhalu
withhold
وَمَن
waman
and whoever
يَبۡخَلۡ
yabkhal
withholds
فَإِنَّمَا
fa-innama
then only
يَبۡخَلُ
yabkhalu
he withholds
عَن
an
from
نَّفۡسِهِۦۚ
nafsihi
himself
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
But Allah
ٱلۡغَنِيُّ
al-ghaniyu
(is) Free of need
وَأَنتُمُ
wa-antumu
while you
ٱلۡفُقَرَآءُۚ
al-fuqarau
(are) the needy
وَإِن
wa-in
And if
تَتَوَلَّوۡاْ
tatawallaw
you turn away
يَسۡتَبۡدِلۡ
yastabdil
He will replace you
قَوۡمًا
qawman
(with) a people
غَيۡرَكُمۡ
ghayrakum
other than you
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
لَا
la
not
يَكُونُوٓاْ
yakunu
they will be
أَمۡثَٰلَكُم
amthalakum
(the) likes of you
٣٨
