تَنزِيلُ
Tañzeelul
(The) revelation
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
Kitaabi
(of) the Book
مِنَ
minal
(is) from
ٱللَّهِ
laahil
Allah
ٱلۡعَزِيزِ
ʻAzeezil
the All-Mighty
ٱلۡحَكِيمِ
Ḥakeem.
the All-Wise
٢
46:3
مَا
Maa-
Not
خَلَقۡنَا
khalaq̣nas
We created
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ
wal-ʹarḍa
and the earth
وَمَا
wa-maa
and what
بَيۡنَهُمَآ
baynahumaaa
(is) between both of them
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
bilḥaq̣q̣i
in truth
وَأَجَلٖ
wa-ʹajalim
and (for) a term
مُّسَمّٗىۚ
musammaa:
appointed
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wallaẓeena
But those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieve
عَمَّآ
ʻammaaa
from what
أُنذِرُواْ
ʹuñẓiroo
they are warned
مُعۡرِضُونَ
muʻriḍoon.
(are) turning away
٣
46:4
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
أَرَءَيۡتُم
ʹaraʹaytum
Do you see
مَّا
maa
what
تَدۡعُونَ
tadʻoona
you call
مِن
miñ
besides
دُونِ
doonil
besides
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
أَرُونِي
ʹaroonee
Show me
مَاذَا
maaẓaa
what
خَلَقُواْ
khalaq̣oo
they have created
مِنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
أَمۡ
ʹam
or
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
شِرۡكٞ
shirkuñ
(is) any share
فِي
fis
in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِۖ
samaawaat?
the heavens
ٱئۡتُونِي
ʹEetoonee
Bring me
بِكِتَٰبٖ
bi-Kitaabim
a book
مِّن
miñ
from
قَبۡلِ
q̣abli
before
هَٰذَآ
haaẓaaa
this
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
أَثَٰرَةٖ
ʹas̤aaratim
a trace
مِّنۡ
min
of
عِلۡمٍ
ʻilmin
knowledge
إِن
ʹiñ
if
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you are
صَٰدِقِينَ
ṣaadiq̣een!
truthful
٤
46:5
وَمَنۡ
Wa-man
And who
أَضَلُّ
ʹaḍallu
(is) more astray
مِمَّن
mimmañy
than (he) who
يَدۡعُواْ
yadʻoo
calls
مِن
miñ
besides
دُونِ
doonil
besides
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
مَن
mal
who
لَّا
laa
will not respond
يَسۡتَجِيبُ
yastajeebu
will not respond
لَهُۥٓ
lahooo
to him
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
until
يَوۡمِ
Yawmil
(the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
Q̣iyaamati
(of) Resurrection
وَهُمۡ
wa-hum
and they
عَن
ʻañ
of
دُعَآئِهِمۡ
duʻaaaʹihim
their calls
غَٰفِلُونَ
g̣aafiloon?
(are) unaware

وَإِذَا
Wa-ʹiẓaa
And when
حُشِرَ
ḥushiran
are gathered
ٱلنَّاسُ
naasu
the people
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they will be
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
أَعۡدَآءٗ
ʹaʻdaaaʹañw
enemies
وَكَانُواْ
Wakaanoo
and they will be
بِعِبَادَتِهِمۡ
biʻibaadatihim
of their worship
كَٰفِرِينَ
kaafireen!
deniers
٦
46:7
وَإِذَا
Wa-ʹiẓaa
And when
تُتۡلَىٰ
tutlaa
are recited
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
to them
ءَايَٰتُنَا
ʹAayaatunaa
Our Verses
بَيِّنَٰتٖ
Bayyinaatiñ
clear
قَالَ
q̣aalal
say
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieve
لِلۡحَقِّ
lil-Ḥaq̣q̣i
of the truth
لَمَّا
lammaa
when
جَآءَهُمۡ
jaaaʹahum
it comes to them
هَٰذَا
haaẓaa
This
سِحۡرٞ
siḥrum
(is) a magic
مُّبِينٌ
mubeen!
clear
٧
46:8
أَمۡ
ʹAm
Or
يَقُولُونَ
yaq̣ooloonaf
they say
ٱفۡتَرَىٰهُۖ
taraah?
He has invented it
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
إِنِ
ʹinif
If
ٱفۡتَرَيۡتُهُۥ
taraytuhoo
I have invented it
فَلَا
falaa
then not
تَمۡلِكُونَ
tamlikoona
you have power
لِي
lee
for me
مِنَ
minal
against
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
شَيۡـًٔاۖ
shayʹaa.
anything
هُوَ
Huwa
He
أَعۡلَمُ
ʹaʻlamu
knows best
بِمَا
bimaa
of what
تُفِيضُونَ
tufeeḍoona
you utter
فِيهِۚ
feeh!
concerning it
كَفَىٰ
Kafaa
Sufficient is He
بِهِۦ
bihee
Sufficient is He
شَهِيدَۢا
Shaheedam
(as) a Witness
بَيۡنِي
baynee
between me
وَبَيۡنَكُمۡۖ
wa-baynakum!
and between you
وَهُوَ
Wa-Huwal
and He
ٱلۡغَفُورُ
G̣afoorur
(is) the Oft-Forgiving
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
Raḥeem.
the Most Merciful
٨
46:9
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
مَا
maa-
Not
كُنتُ
kuñtu
I am
بِدۡعٗا
bidʻam
a new (one)
مِّنَ
minar
among
ٱلرُّسُلِ
rusuli
the Messengers
وَمَآ
wa-maaa
and not
أَدۡرِي
ʹadree
I know
مَا
maa-
what
يُفۡعَلُ
yufʻalu
will be done
بِي
bee
with me
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
بِكُمۡۖ
bikum.
with you
إِنۡ
ʹIn
Not
أَتَّبِعُ
ʹattabiʻu
I follow
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
but
مَا
maa-
what
يُوحَىٰٓ
yooḥaaa
is revealed
إِلَيَّ
ʹilayya
to me
وَمَآ
wa-maaa
and not
أَنَا۠
ʹana
I am
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
but
نَذِيرٞ
Naẓeerum
a warner
مُّبِينٞ
mubeen.
clear

46:10
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ
ʹaraaytum
Do you see
إِن
ʹiñ
if
كَانَ
kaana
it is
مِنۡ
min
from Allah
عِندِ
ʻiñdil
from Allah
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
from Allah
وَكَفَرۡتُم
wa-kafartum̃
and you disbelieve
بِهِۦ
bihee
in it
وَشَهِدَ
wa-shahida
and testifies
شَاهِدٞ
shaahidum
a witness
مِّنۢ
mim
from
بَنِيٓ
Baneee
(the) Children of Israel
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
ʹIsraaaʹeela
(the) Children of Israel
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
to
مِثۡلِهِۦ
mis̤lihee
(the) like thereof
فَـَٔامَنَ
faʹaamana
then he believed
وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرۡتُمۡۚ
wastakbartum?
while you are arrogant
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
لَا
laa-
(does) not
يَهۡدِي
yahdil
guide
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ
q̣awmaz̤̣
the people
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
z̤̣aalimeen.
the wrongdoers
١٠
46:11
وَقَالَ
Wa-q̣aalal
And say
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieve
لِلَّذِينَ
lillaẓeena
of those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believe
لَوۡ
law
If
كَانَ
kaana
it had been
خَيۡرٗا
khayram
good
مَّا
maa
not
سَبَقُونَآ
sabaq̣oonaaa
they (would) have preceded us
إِلَيۡهِۚ
ʹilayh!
to it
وَإِذۡ
Wa-ʹiẓ
And when
لَمۡ
lam
not
يَهۡتَدُواْ
yahtadoo
they (are) guided
بِهِۦ
bihee
by it
فَسَيَقُولُونَ
fasayaq̣ooloona
they say
هَٰذَآ
haaẓaaa
This
إِفۡكٞ
ʹifkuñ
(is) a lie
قَدِيمٞ
q̣adeem!
ancient
١١
46:12
وَمِن
Wa-miñ
And before it
قَبۡلِهِۦ
q̣ablihee
And before it
كِتَٰبُ
Kitaabu
(was the) Scripture
مُوسَىٰٓ
Moosaaa
(of) Musa
إِمَامٗا
ʹimaamañw
(as) a guide
وَرَحۡمَةٗۚ
Waraḥmah:
and a mercy
وَهَٰذَا
wa-haaẓaa
And this
كِتَٰبٞ
Kitaabum
(is) a Book
مُّصَدِّقٞ
muṣaddiq̣ul
confirming
لِّسَانًا
lisaanan
(in) language
عَرَبِيّٗا
ʻArabiyyal
Arabic
لِّيُنذِرَ
liyuñẓiral
to warn
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
ظَلَمُواْ
z̤̣alamoo
do wrong
وَبُشۡرَىٰ
wa-Bushraa
and (as) glad tidings
لِلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
lil-Muḥsineen.
for the good-doers
١٢
46:13
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
قَالُواْ
q̣aaloo
say
رَبُّنَا
Rabbunal
Our Lord
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
(is) Allah
ثُمَّ
s̤ummas
then
ٱسۡتَقَٰمُواْ
taq̣aamoo
remain firm
فَلَا
falaa
then no
خَوۡفٌ
khawfun
fear
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
on them
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
هُمۡ
hum
they
يَحۡزَنُونَ
yaḥzanoon.
will grieve
١٣
46:14
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹUlaaaʹika
Those
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ʹAṣḥaabul
(are the) companions
ٱلۡجَنَّةِ
Jannati
(of) Paradise
خَٰلِدِينَ
khaalideena
abiding forever
فِيهَا
feehaa:
therein
جَزَآءَۢ
jazaaaʹam
a reward
بِمَا
bimaa
for what
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they used to
يَعۡمَلُونَ
yaʻmaloon.

46:15
وَوَصَّيۡنَا
Wa-waṣṣaynal
And We have enjoined
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ
ʹiñsaana
(on) man
بِوَٰلِدَيۡهِ
biwaalidayhi
to his parents
إِحۡسَٰنًاۖ
ʹiḥsaanaa:
kindness
حَمَلَتۡهُ
ḥamalathu
Carried him
أُمُّهُۥ
ʹummuhoo
his mother
كُرۡهٗا
kurhañw
(with) hardship
وَوَضَعَتۡهُ
wawaḍaʻathu
and gave birth to him
كُرۡهٗاۖ
kurhaa.
(with) hardship
وَحَمۡلُهُۥ
Wa-ḥamluhoo
And (the) bearing of him
وَفِصَٰلُهُۥ
wa-fiṣaaluhoo
and (the) weaning of him
ثَلَٰثُونَ
s̤alaas̤oona
(is) thirty
شَهۡرًاۚ
shahraa.
month(s)
حَتَّىٰٓ
Ḥattaaa
until
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
when
بَلَغَ
balag̣a
he reaches
أَشُدَّهُۥ
ʹashuddahoo
his maturity
وَبَلَغَ
wa-balag̣a
and reaches
أَرۡبَعِينَ
ʹarbaʻeena
forty
سَنَةٗ
sanatañ
year(s)
قَالَ
q̣aala
he says
رَبِّ
Rabbi
My Lord
أَوۡزِعۡنِيٓ
ʹawziʻneee
grant me (the) power
أَنۡ
ʹan
that
أَشۡكُرَ
ʹashkura
I may be grateful
نِعۡمَتَكَ
niʻmatakal
(for) Your favor
ٱلَّتِيٓ
lateee
which
أَنۡعَمۡتَ
ʹanʻamta
You have bestowed
عَلَيَّ
ʻalayya
upon me
وَعَلَىٰ
wa-ʻalaa
and upon
وَٰلِدَيَّ
waalidayya
my parents
وَأَنۡ
wa-ʹan
and that
أَعۡمَلَ
ʹaʻmala
I do
صَٰلِحٗا
ṣaaliḥañ
righteous (deeds)
تَرۡضَىٰهُ
tarḍaahu
which please You
وَأَصۡلِحۡ
wa-ʹaṣliḥ
and make righteous
لِي
lee
for me
فِي
fee
among
ذُرِّيَّتِيٓۖ
ẓurriyyatee.
my offspring
إِنِّي
ʹInnee
indeed
تُبۡتُ
tubtu
I turn
إِلَيۡكَ
ʹilayka
to You
وَإِنِّي
wa-ʹinnee
and indeed I am
مِنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ
Muslimeen.
those who submit
١٥
46:16
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹUlaaaʹikal
Those
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
(are) the ones
نَتَقَبَّلُ
nataq̣abbalu
We will accept
عَنۡهُمۡ
ʻanhum
from them
أَحۡسَنَ
ʹaḥsana
(the) best
مَا
maa-
(of) what
عَمِلُواْ
ʻamiloo
they did
وَنَتَجَاوَزُ
wa-natajaawazu
and We will overlook
عَن
ʻañ
[from]
سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمۡ
sayyiʹaatihim
their evil deeds
فِيٓ
feee
among
أَصۡحَٰبِ
ʹaṣḥaabil
(the) companions
ٱلۡجَنَّةِۖ
Jannah:
(of) Paradise
وَعۡدَ
waʻdaṣ
A promise
ٱلصِّدۡقِ
ṣidq̣il
true
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
which
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they were
يُوعَدُونَ
yooʻadoon.
promised
١٦
46:17
وَٱلَّذِي
Wallaẓee
But the one who
قَالَ
q̣aala
says
لِوَٰلِدَيۡهِ
liwaalidayhi
to his parents
أُفّٖ
ʹuffil
Uff
لَّكُمَآ
lakumaaa
to both of you
أَتَعِدَانِنِيٓ
ʹataʻidaanineee
Do you promise me
أَنۡ
ʹan
that
أُخۡرَجَ
ʹukhraja
I will be brought forth
وَقَدۡ
wa-q̣ad
and have already passed away
خَلَتِ
khalatil
and have already passed away
ٱلۡقُرُونُ
q̣uroonu
the generations
مِن
miñ
before me
قَبۡلِي
q̣ablee?
before me
وَهُمَا
Wa-humaa
And they both
يَسۡتَغِيثَانِ
yastag̣ees̤aanil
seek help
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
(of) Allah
وَيۡلَكَ
waylaka
Woe to you
ءَامِنۡ
ʹaamin!
Believe
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
وَعۡدَ
waʻdal
(the) Promise
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
حَقّٞ
ḥaq̣q̣.
(is) true
فَيَقُولُ
Fayaq̣oolu
But he says
مَا
maa-
Not
هَٰذَآ
haaẓaaa
(is) this
إِلَّآ
ʹillaaa
but
أَسَٰطِيرُ
ʹasaaṭeerul
(the) stories
ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
ʹawwaleen!
(of) the former (people)
١٧
46:18
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹUlaaaʹikal
Those
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
(are) the ones
حَقَّ
ḥaq̣q̣a
(has) proved true
عَلَيۡهِمُ
ʻalayhimul
against them
ٱلۡقَوۡلُ
Q̣awlu
the word
فِيٓ
feee
among
أُمَمٖ
ʹumamiñ
nations
قَدۡ
q̣ad
(that) already passed away
خَلَتۡ
khalat
(that) already passed away
مِن
miñ
before them
قَبۡلِهِم
q̣ablihim
before them
مِّنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡجِنِّ
jinni
(the) jinn
وَٱلۡإِنسِۖ
wal-ʹiñs:
and the men
إِنَّهُمۡ
ʹinnahum
Indeed they
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
are
خَٰسِرِينَ
khaasireen.
(the) losers
١٨
46:19
وَلِكُلّٖ
Wa-likulliñ
And for all
دَرَجَٰتٞ
darajaatum
(are) degrees
مِّمَّا
mimmaa
for what
عَمِلُواْۖ
ʻamiloo,
they did
وَلِيُوَفِّيَهُمۡ
wa-liyuwaf-fiyahum
and that He may fully compensate them
أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
ʹaʻmaalahum
(for) their deeds
وَهُمۡ
Wahum
and they
لَا
laa-
will not be wronged
يُظۡلَمُونَ
yuz̤̣lamoon.
will not be wronged
١٩
46:20
وَيَوۡمَ
Wa-Yawma
And (the) Day
يُعۡرَضُ
yuʻraḍul
will be exposed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieved
عَلَى
ʻalan
to
ٱلنَّارِ
Naar.
the Fire
أَذۡهَبۡتُمۡ
ʹAẓhabtum
You exhausted
طَيِّبَٰتِكُمۡ
ṭayyibaatikum
your good things
فِي
fee
in
حَيَاتِكُمُ
ḥayaatikumud
your life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
dunyaa
(of) the world
وَٱسۡتَمۡتَعۡتُم
wastamtaʻtum̃
and you took your pleasures
بِهَا
bihaa:
therein
فَٱلۡيَوۡمَ
fal-Yawma
So today
تُجۡزَوۡنَ
tujzawna
you will be recompensed
عَذَابَ
ʻaẓaabal
(with) a punishment
ٱلۡهُونِ
hooni
humiliating
بِمَا
bimaa
because
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you were
تَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ
tastakbiroona
arrogant
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
بِغَيۡرِ
big̣ayril
without
ٱلۡحَقِّ
ḥaq̣q̣i
[the] right
وَبِمَا
wa-bimaa
and because
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you were
تَفۡسُقُونَ
tafsuq̣oon.
defiantly disobedient

۞وَٱذۡكُرۡ
Waẓkur
And mention
أَخَا
ʹAkhaa
(the) brother
عَادٍ
ʻAad:
(of) Aad
إِذۡ
ʹIẓ
when
أَنذَرَ
ʹañẓara
he warned
قَوۡمَهُۥ
q̣awmahoo
his people
بِٱلۡأَحۡقَافِ
bil-ʹAḤQ̣AAFI
in the Al-Ahqaf
وَقَدۡ
wa-q̣ad
and had already passed away
خَلَتِ
khalatin
and had already passed away
ٱلنُّذُرُ
nuẓuru
[the] warners
مِنۢ
mim
before him
بَيۡنِ
bayni
before him
يَدَيۡهِ
yadayhi
before him
وَمِنۡ
wa-min
and after him
خَلۡفِهِۦٓ
khalfiheee
and after him
أَلَّا
ʹallaa
That not
تَعۡبُدُوٓاْ
taʻbudooo
you worship
إِلَّا
ʹillal
except
ٱللَّهَ
laah:
Allah
إِنِّيٓ
ʹinneee
Indeed I
أَخَافُ
ʹakhaafu
[I] fear
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
ʻalaykum
for you
عَذَابَ
ʻaẓaaba
a punishment
يَوۡمٍ
Yawmin
(of) a Day
عَظِيمٖ
ʻaz̤̣eem.
Great
٢١
46:22
قَالُوٓاْ
Q̣aalooo
They said
أَجِئۡتَنَا
ʹajiʹtanaa
Have you come to us
لِتَأۡفِكَنَا
litaʹfikanaa
to turn us away
عَنۡ
ʻan
from
ءَالِهَتِنَا
ʹaalihatinaa?
our gods
فَأۡتِنَا
Faʹtinaa
Then bring us
بِمَا
bimaa
what
تَعِدُنَآ
taʻidunaaa
you threaten us
إِن
ʹiñ
if
كُنتَ
kuñta
you are
مِنَ
minaṣ
of
ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
ṣaadiq̣een!
the truthful
٢٢
46:23
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
إِنَّمَا
ʹinnamal
Only
ٱلۡعِلۡمُ
ʻilmu
the knowledge
عِندَ
ʻiñdal
(is) with Allah
ٱللَّهِ
laah:
(is) with Allah
وَأُبَلِّغُكُم
wa-ʹuballig̣ukum
and I convey to you
مَّآ
maaa
what
أُرۡسِلۡتُ
ʹursiltu
I am sent
بِهِۦ
bihee
with it
وَلَٰكِنِّيٓ
wa-laakinneee
but
أَرَىٰكُمۡ
ʹaraakum
I see you
قَوۡمٗا
q̣awmañ
a people
تَجۡهَلُونَ
tajhaloon!
ignorant
٢٣
46:24
فَلَمَّا
falammaa
Then when
رَأَوۡهُ
raʹawhu
they saw it
عَارِضٗا
ʻaariḍam
(as) a cloud
مُّسۡتَقۡبِلَ
mustaq̣bila
approaching
أَوۡدِيَتِهِمۡ
ʹawdiyatihim
their valleys
قَالُواْ
q̣aaloo
they said
هَٰذَا
haaẓaa
This
عَارِضٞ
ʻaariḍum
(is) a cloud
مُّمۡطِرُنَاۚ
mumṭirunaa!
bringing us rain
بَلۡ
Bal
Nay
هُوَ
huwa
it
مَا
mas
(is) what
ٱسۡتَعۡجَلۡتُم
taʻjaltum̃
you were asking it to be hastened
بِهِۦۖ
bih!
you were asking it to be hastened
رِيحٞ
reeḥuñ
a wind
فِيهَا
feehaa
in it
عَذَابٌ
ʻAẓaabun
(is) a punishment
أَلِيمٞ
ʹaleem!
painful
٢٤
46:25
تُدَمِّرُ
Tudammiru
Destroying
كُلَّ
kulla
every
شَيۡءِۭ
shayʹim
thing
بِأَمۡرِ
biʹamri
by (the) command
رَبِّهَا
Rabbihaa
(of) its Lord
فَأَصۡبَحُواْ
faʹaṣbaḥoo
Then they became (such)
لَا
laa-
not
يُرَىٰٓ
yuraaa
is seen
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
مَسَٰكِنُهُمۡۚ
masaakinuhum!
their dwellings

Kaẓaalika
Thus
نَجۡزِي
najzil
We recompense
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ
q̣awmal
the people
ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ
mujrimeen!
[the] criminals
