45:2تَنزِيلُTañzeelul(The) revelationٱلۡكِتَٰبِKitaabi(of) the Bookمِنَminal(is) fromٱللَّهِlaahilAllahٱلۡعَزِيزِʻAzeezilthe All-MightyٱلۡحَكِيمِḤakeem.the All-Wise٢
45:3إِنَّʹInnaIndeedفِيfisinٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِsamaawaatithe heavensوَٱلۡأَرۡضِwal-ʹarḍiand the earthلَأٓيَٰتٖlaʹAayaatilsurely (are) Signsلِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَlil-Muʹmineen.for the believers٣
45:4وَفِيWa-feeAnd inخَلۡقِكُمۡkhalq̣ikumyour creationوَمَاwa-maaand whatيَبُثُّyabus̤s̤uHe dispersesمِنmiñofدَآبَّةٍdaaabbatin(the) moving creaturesءَايَٰتٞʹAayaatul(are) Signsلِّقَوۡمٖliq̣awmiñyfor a peopleيُوقِنُونَyooq̣inoon.who are certain٤
45:5وَٱخۡتِلَٰفِWakhtilaafilAnd (in the) alternationٱلَّيۡلِLayli(of) the nightوَٱلنَّهَارِwan-Nahaariand the dayوَمَآwa-maaaand whatأَنزَلَʹañzalalAllah sends downٱللَّهُlaahuAllah sends downمِنَminasfromٱلسَّمَآءِsamaaaʹithe skyمِنmirofرِّزۡقٖRizq̣iñ(the) provisionفَأَحۡيَاfaʹaḥyaaand gives lifeبِهِbihiltherebyٱلۡأَرۡضَʹarḍa(to) the earthبَعۡدَbaʻdaafterمَوۡتِهَاmawtihaaits deathوَتَصۡرِيفِwa-taṣreefirand (in) directingٱلرِّيَٰحِriyaaḥi(the) windsءَايَٰتٞʹAayaatul(are) Signsلِّقَوۡمٖliq̣awmiñyfor a peopleيَعۡقِلُونَyaʻq̣iloon.who reason٥
45:6تِلۡكَTilkaTheseءَايَٰتُʹAayaatul(are the) Versesٱللَّهِlaahi(of) AllahنَتۡلُوهَاnatloohaaWe recite themعَلَيۡكَʻalaykato youبِٱلۡحَقِّۖbil-ḥaq̣q̣:in truthفَبِأَيِّfabiʹayyiThen in whatحَدِيثِۭḥadees̤imstatementبَعۡدَbaʻdalafterٱللَّهِlaahiAllahوَءَايَٰتِهِۦwa-ʹAayaatiheeand His Versesيُؤۡمِنُونَyuʹminoon?will they believe٦
45:8يَسۡمَعُyasmaʻuWho hearsءَايَٰتِʹAayaatil(the) Versesٱللَّهِlaahi(of) Allahتُتۡلَىٰtutlaarecitedعَلَيۡهِʻalayhito himثُمَّs̤ummathenيُصِرُّyuṣirrupersistsمُسۡتَكۡبِرٗاmustakbirañarrogantlyكَأَنkaʹalas ifلَّمۡlamnotيَسۡمَعۡهَاۖyasmaʻhaa:he heard themفَبَشِّرۡهُfabashshirhuSo give him tidingsبِعَذَابٍbiʻAẓaabin(of) a punishmentأَلِيمٖʹaleem!painful٨
45:9وَإِذَاWa-ʹiẓaaaAnd whenعَلِمَʻalimahe knowsمِنۡminofءَايَٰتِنَاʹAayaatinaaOur Versesشَيۡـًٔاshayʹanitanythingٱتَّخَذَهَاtakhaẓahaahe takes themهُزُوًاۚhuzuwaa:(in) ridiculeأُوْلَٰٓئِكَʹulaaaʹikaThose لَهُمۡlahumfor themعَذَابٞʻAẓaabum(is) a punishmentمُّهِينٞmuheen.humiliating٩
45:10مِّنMiñwBefore themوَرَآئِهِمۡWaraaaʹihimBefore themجَهَنَّمُۖJahannam:(is) Hellوَلَاwa-laaand notيُغۡنِيyug̣neewill availعَنۡهُمʻanhumthemمَّاmaawhatكَسَبُواْkasaboothey had earnedشَيۡـٔٗاshayʹañwanythingوَلَاwalaaand notمَاmatwhatٱتَّخَذُواْtakhaẓoothey had takenمِنmiñbesidesدُونِdoonilbesidesٱللَّهِlaahiAllahأَوۡلِيَآءَۖʹawliyaaaʹ:(as) protectorsوَلَهُمۡwa-lahumAnd for themعَذَابٌʻAẓaabun(is) a punishmentعَظِيمٌʻaz̤̣eem.great١٠
45:11هَٰذَاHaaẓaaThisهُدٗىۖHudaa:(is) guidanceوَٱلَّذِينَwal-laẓeenaAnd those whoكَفَرُواْkafaroodisbelieveبِـَٔايَٰتِbiʹAayaatiin (the) VersesرَبِّهِمۡRabbihim(of) their Lordلَهُمۡlahumfor themعَذَابٞʻAẓaabum(is) a punishmentمِّنmirofرِّجۡزٍrijzinfilthأَلِيمٌʹaleem.painful١١
45:12۞ٱللَّهُʹAllaahulAllahٱلَّذِيlaẓee(is) the One Whoسَخَّرَsakhkharasubjectedلَكُمُlakumulto youٱلۡبَحۡرَbaḥrathe seaلِتَجۡرِيَlitajriyalthat may sailٱلۡفُلۡكُfulkuthe shipsفِيهِfeehithereinبِأَمۡرِهِۦbiʹamriheeby His Commandوَلِتَبۡتَغُواْwa-litabtag̣ooand that you may seekمِنmiñofفَضۡلِهِۦFaḍliheeHis Bountyوَلَعَلَّكُمۡwa-laʻallakumand that you mayتَشۡكُرُونَtashkuroon.give thanks١٢
45:13وَسَخَّرَWa-sakhkharaAnd He has subjectedلَكُمlakumto youمَّاmaawhateverفِيfis(is) inٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِsamaawaatithe heavensوَمَاwa-maaand whateverفِيfil(is) inٱلۡأَرۡضِʹarḍithe earth جَمِيعٗاjameeʻamallمِّنۡهُۚminh:from HimإِنَّʹinnaIndeedفِيfeeinذَٰلِكَẓaalikathatلَأٓيَٰتٖlaʹAayaatilsurely are Signsلِّقَوۡمٖliq̣awmiñyfor a peopleيَتَفَكَّرُونَyatafakkaroon.who give thought١٣
45:14قُلQ̣ulSayلِّلَّذِينَlillaẓeenato those whoءَامَنُواْʹaamanoobelieveيَغۡفِرُواْyag̣firoo(to) forgiveلِلَّذِينَlillaẓeenathose whoلَاlaa-(do) notيَرۡجُونَyarjoonahopeأَيَّامَʹAyyaamal(for the) daysٱللَّهِlaahi(of) Allahلِيَجۡزِيَliyajziyathat He may recompenseقَوۡمَۢاQ̣awmama peopleبِمَاbimaafor whatكَانُواْkaanoothey used toيَكۡسِبُونَyaksiboon.earn١٤
45:15مَنۡManWhoeverعَمِلَʻamiladoesصَٰلِحٗاṣaaliḥaña righteous deedفَلِنَفۡسِهِۦۖfalinafsih;then it is for his soulوَمَنۡwa-manand whoeverأَسَآءَʹasaaaʹadoes evilفَعَلَيۡهَاۖfaʻalayhaa.then it (is) against itثُمَّS̤ummaThenإِلَىٰʹilaatoرَبِّكُمۡRabbikumyour Lordتُرۡجَعُونَturjaʻoon.you will be returned١٥
45:16وَلَقَدۡWa-laq̣adAnd certainlyءَاتَيۡنَاʹaataynaaWe gaveبَنِيٓBaneee(the) Children of IsraelإِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَʹIsraaaʹeelal(the) Children of IsraelٱلۡكِتَٰبَKitaabathe Bookوَٱلۡحُكۡمَwal-Ḥukmaand the wisdomوَٱلنُّبُوَّةَwan-Nubuwwaand the Prophethoodوَرَزَقۡنَٰهُمwa-razaq̣naahumand We provided themمِّنَminaṭofٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِṬayyibaatithe good thingsوَفَضَّلۡنَٰهُمۡwa-faḍḍalnaahumand We preferred themعَلَىʻalaloverٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَʻaalameen.the worlds١٦
45:17وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمWa-ʹaataynaahum̃And We gave themبَيِّنَٰتٖBayyinaatimclear proofsمِّنَminalofٱلۡأَمۡرِۖʹamr:the matterفَمَاfamakhAnd notٱخۡتَلَفُوٓاْtalafooothey differedإِلَّاʹillaaexceptمِنۢmimafterبَعۡدِbaʻdiafterمَاmaa-[what]جَآءَهُمُjaaaʹahumulcame to themٱلۡعِلۡمُʻilmuthe knowledgeبَغۡيَۢاbag̣yam(out of) envyبَيۡنَهُمۡۚbaynahum.between themselvesإِنَّʹInnaIndeedرَبَّكَRabbakayour Lordيَقۡضِيyaq̣ḍeewill judgeبَيۡنَهُمۡbaynahumbetween themيَوۡمَYawmal(on the) DayٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِQ̣iyaamati(of) the Resurrectionفِيمَاfeemaaabout whatكَانُواْkaanoothey used toفِيهِfeehithereinيَخۡتَلِفُونَyakhtalifoon.differ١٧
45:18ثُمَّS̤ummaThenجَعَلۡنَٰكَjaʻalnaakaWe put youعَلَىٰʻalaaonشَرِيعَةٖShareeʻatiman ordained wayمِّنَminalofٱلۡأَمۡرِʹamrithe matterفَٱتَّبِعۡهَاfattabiʻhaaso follow itوَلَاwa-laaand (do) notتَتَّبِعۡtattabiʻfollowأَهۡوَآءَʹahwaaa(the) desiresٱلَّذِينَʹallaẓeena(of) those whoلَاlaa-(do) notيَعۡلَمُونَyaʻlamoon.know١٨
45:19إِنَّهُمۡʹInnahumIndeed theyلَنlañyneverيُغۡنُواْyug̣noowill availعَنكَʹañkayouمِنَminalagainstٱللَّهِlaahiAllahشَيۡـٔٗاۚshayʹaa:(in) anythingوَإِنَّwa-ʹinnaz̤̣And indeedٱلظَّٰلِمِينَz̤̣aalimeenathe wrongdoersبَعۡضُهُمۡbaʻḍuhumsome of themأَوۡلِيَآءُʹawliyaaaʹu(are) alliesبَعۡضٖۖbaʻḍ:(of) othersوَٱللَّهُwallaahuand AllahوَلِيُّWa-liyyul(is the) ProtectorٱلۡمُتَّقِينَMuttaq̣een.(of) the righteous١٩
45:20هَٰذَاHaaẓaaThisبَصَٰٓئِرُBaṣaaaʹiru(is) enlightenmentلِلنَّاسِlinnaasifor mankindوَهُدٗىwa-Hudañwand guidanceوَرَحۡمَةٞwa-Raḥmatuland mercyلِّقَوۡمٖliq̣awmiñyfor a peopleيُوقِنُونَyooq̣inoon.who are certain٢٠
45:21أَمۡʹAmDoحَسِبَḥasibalthinkٱلَّذِينَlaẓeenajthose whoٱجۡتَرَحُواْtaraḥuscommitٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِsayyiʹaatievil deedsأَنʹanthatنَّجۡعَلَهُمۡnajʻalahumWe will make themكَٱلَّذِينَkallaẓeenalike those whoءَامَنُواْʹaamanoobelievedوَعَمِلُواْwa-ʻamiluṣand didٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِṣaaliḥaatirighteous deedsسَوَآءٗsawaaaʹamequalمَّحۡيَاهُمۡmaḥyaahum(in) their lifeوَمَمَاتُهُمۡۚwa-mamaatuhum?and their deathسَآءَSaaaʹaEvil isمَاmaa-whatيَحۡكُمُونَyaḥkumoon.they judge٢١
45:22وَخَلَقَWa-khalaq̣alAnd Allah createdٱللَّهُlaahusAnd Allah createdٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِsamaawaatithe heavensوَٱلۡأَرۡضَwal-ʹarḍaand the earthبِٱلۡحَقِّbilḥaq̣q̣iin truthوَلِتُجۡزَىٰwa-litujzaaand that may be recompensedكُلُّkullueveryنَفۡسِۭnafsimsoulبِمَاbimaafor whatكَسَبَتۡkasabatit has earnedوَهُمۡwa-humand theyلَاlaa-will not be wrongedيُظۡلَمُونَyuz̤̣lamoon.will not be wronged٢٢
45:23أَفَرَءَيۡتَʹAfaraʹaytaHave you seenمَنِmanit(he) whoٱتَّخَذَtakhaẓatakesإِلَٰهَهُۥʹilaahahoo(as) his godهَوَىٰهُhawaahuhis desireوَأَضَلَّهُwa-ʹaḍal-lahuland Allah lets him go astrayٱللَّهُlaahuand Allah lets him go astrayعَلَىٰʻalaaknowinglyعِلۡمٖʻilmiñwknowinglyوَخَتَمَWakhatamaand He sets a sealعَلَىٰʻalaauponسَمۡعِهِۦsamʻiheehis hearingوَقَلۡبِهِۦwa-q̣albiheeand his heartوَجَعَلَwa-jaʻalaand putsعَلَىٰʻalaaoverبَصَرِهِۦbaṣariheehis visionغِشَٰوَةٗg̣ishaawah.a veilفَمَنFamañyThen whoيَهۡدِيهِyahdeehiwill guide himمِنۢmimafterبَعۡدِbaʻdilafterٱللَّهِۚlaah?AllahأَفَلَاʹAfalaaThen will notتَذَكَّرُونَtaẓakkaroon?you receive admonition٢٣
45:24وَقَالُواْWa-q̣aalooAnd they sayمَاmaa-Notهِيَhiyaitإِلَّاʹillaa(is) butحَيَاتُنَاḥayaatunadour lifeٱلدُّنۡيَاdunyaa(of) the worldنَمُوتُnamootuwe dieوَنَحۡيَاwa-naḥyaaand we liveوَمَاwa-maaand notيُهۡلِكُنَآyuhlikunaaadestroys usإِلَّاʹilladexceptٱلدَّهۡرُۚDahr.the timeوَمَاWa-maaAnd notلَهُمlahum̃for themبِذَٰلِكَbiẓaalikaof thatمِنۡminanyعِلۡمٍۖʻilm:knowledgeإِنۡʹinnotهُمۡhumtheyإِلَّاʹillaa(do) butيَظُنُّونَyaz̤̣unnoon.guess٢٤
45:25وَإِذَاWa-ʹiẓaaAnd whenتُتۡلَىٰtutlaaare recitedعَلَيۡهِمۡʻalayhimto themءَايَٰتُنَاʹAayaatunaaOur VersesبَيِّنَٰتٖBayyinaatimclearمَّاmaanotكَانَkaanaisحُجَّتَهُمۡḥujjatuhumtheir argumentإِلَّآʹillaaaexceptأَنʹañthatقَالُواْq̣aaluʹthey sayٱئۡتُواْtooBringبِـَٔابَآئِنَآbiʹaabaaaʹinaaaour forefathersإِنʹiñifكُنتُمۡkuñtumyou areصَٰدِقِينَṣaadiq̣een!truthful٢٥
