45:2تَنزِيلُtanzilu(The) revelationٱلۡكِتَٰبِal-kitabi(of) the Bookمِنَmina(is) fromٱللَّهِal-lahiAllahٱلۡعَزِيزِal-'azizithe All-Mightyٱلۡحَكِيمِal-hakimithe All-Wise٢
45:3إِنَّinnaIndeedفِيfiinٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِal-samawatithe heavensوَٱلۡأَرۡضِwal-ardiand the earthلَأٓيَٰتٖlaayatinsurely (are) Signsلِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَlil'mu'mininafor the believers٣
45:4وَفِيwafiAnd inخَلۡقِكُمۡkhalqikumyour creationوَمَاwamaand whatيَبُثُّyabuthuHe dispersesمِنminofدَآبَّةٍdabbatin(the) moving creaturesءَايَٰتٞayatun(are) Signsلِّقَوۡمٖliqawminfor a peopleيُوقِنُونَyuqinunawho are certain٤
45:5وَٱخۡتِلَٰفِwa-ikh'tilafiAnd (in the) alternationٱلَّيۡلِal-layli(of) the nightوَٱلنَّهَارِwal-nahariand the dayوَمَآwamaand whatأَنزَلَanzalaAllah sends downٱللَّهُal-lahuAllah sends downمِنَminafromٱلسَّمَآءِal-samaithe skyمِنminofرِّزۡقٖriz'qin(the) provisionفَأَحۡيَاfa-ahyaand gives lifeبِهِbihitherebyٱلۡأَرۡضَal-arda(to) the earthبَعۡدَba'daafterمَوۡتِهَاmawtihaits deathوَتَصۡرِيفِwatasrifiand (in) directingٱلرِّيَٰحِal-riyahi(the) windsءَايَٰتٞayatun(are) Signsلِّقَوۡمٖliqawminfor a peopleيَعۡقِلُونَya'qilunawho reason٥
45:6تِلۡكَtil'kaTheseءَايَٰتُayatu(are the) Versesٱللَّهِal-lahi(of) AllahنَتۡلُوهَاnatluhaWe recite themعَلَيۡكَalaykato youبِٱلۡحَقِّۖbil-haqiin truthفَبِأَيِّfabi-ayyiThen in whatحَدِيثِۭhadithinstatementبَعۡدَba'daafterٱللَّهِal-lahiAllahوَءَايَٰتِهِۦwaayatihiand His Versesيُؤۡمِنُونَyu'minunawill they believe٦
45:8يَسۡمَعُyasma'uWho hearsءَايَٰتِayati(the) Versesٱللَّهِal-lahi(of) Allahتُتۡلَىٰtut'larecitedعَلَيۡهِalayhito himثُمَّthummathenيُصِرُّyusirrupersistsمُسۡتَكۡبِرٗاmus'takbiranarrogantlyكَأَنka-anas ifلَّمۡlamnotيَسۡمَعۡهَاۖyasma'hahe heard themفَبَشِّرۡهُfabashir'huSo give him tidingsبِعَذَابٍbi'adhabin(of) a punishmentأَلِيمٖaliminpainful٨
45:9وَإِذَاwa-idhaAnd whenعَلِمَalimahe knowsمِنۡminofءَايَٰتِنَاayatinaOur Versesشَيۡـًٔاshayananythingٱتَّخَذَهَاittakhadhahahe takes themهُزُوًاۚhuzuwan(in) ridiculeأُوْلَٰٓئِكَulaikaThose لَهُمۡlahumfor themعَذَابٞadhabun(is) a punishmentمُّهِينٞmuhinunhumiliating٩
45:10مِّنminBefore themوَرَآئِهِمۡwaraihimBefore themجَهَنَّمُۖjahannamu(is) Hellوَلَاwalaand notيُغۡنِيyugh'niwill availعَنۡهُمanhumthemمَّاmawhatكَسَبُواْkasabuthey had earnedشَيۡـٔٗاshayananythingوَلَاwalaand notمَاmawhatٱتَّخَذُواْittakhadhuthey had takenمِنminbesidesدُونِdunibesidesٱللَّهِal-lahiAllahأَوۡلِيَآءَۖawliyaa(as) protectorsوَلَهُمۡwalahumAnd for themعَذَابٌadhabun(is) a punishmentعَظِيمٌazimungreat١٠
45:11هَٰذَاhadhaThisهُدٗىۖhudan(is) guidanceوَٱلَّذِينَwa-alladhinaAnd those whoكَفَرُواْkafarudisbelieveبِـَٔايَٰتِbiayatiin (the) Versesرَبِّهِمۡrabbihim(of) their Lordلَهُمۡlahumfor themعَذَابٞadhabun(is) a punishmentمِّنminofرِّجۡزٍrij'zinfilthأَلِيمٌalimunpainful١١
45:12۞ٱللَّهُal-lahuAllahٱلَّذِيalladhi(is) the One Whoسَخَّرَsakharasubjectedلَكُمُlakumuto youٱلۡبَحۡرَal-bahrathe seaلِتَجۡرِيَlitajriyathat may sailٱلۡفُلۡكُal-ful'kuthe shipsفِيهِfihithereinبِأَمۡرِهِۦbi-amrihiby His Commandوَلِتَبۡتَغُواْwalitabtaghuand that you may seekمِنminofفَضۡلِهِۦfadlihiHis Bountyوَلَعَلَّكُمۡwala'allakumand that you mayتَشۡكُرُونَtashkurunagive thanks١٢
45:13وَسَخَّرَwasakharaAnd He has subjectedلَكُمlakumto youمَّاmawhateverفِيfi(is) inٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِal-samawatithe heavensوَمَاwamaand whateverفِيfi(is) inٱلۡأَرۡضِal-ardithe earth جَمِيعٗاjami'anallمِّنۡهُۚmin'hufrom HimإِنَّinnaIndeedفِيfiinذَٰلِكَdhalikathatلَأٓيَٰتٖlaayatinsurely are Signsلِّقَوۡمٖliqawminfor a peopleيَتَفَكَّرُونَyatafakkarunawho give thought١٣
45:14قُلqulSayلِّلَّذِينَlilladhinato those whoءَامَنُواْamanubelieveيَغۡفِرُواْyaghfiru(to) forgiveلِلَّذِينَlilladhinathose whoلَاla(do) notيَرۡجُونَyarjunahopeأَيَّامَayyama(for the) daysٱللَّهِal-lahi(of) Allahلِيَجۡزِيَliyajziyathat He may recompenseقَوۡمَۢاqawmana peopleبِمَاbimafor whatكَانُواْkanuthey used toيَكۡسِبُونَyaksibunaearn١٤
45:15مَنۡmanWhoeverعَمِلَamiladoesصَٰلِحٗاsalihana righteous deedفَلِنَفۡسِهِۦۖfalinafsihithen it is for his soulوَمَنۡwamanand whoeverأَسَآءَasaadoes evilفَعَلَيۡهَاۖfa'alayhathen it (is) against itثُمَّthummaThenإِلَىٰilatoرَبِّكُمۡrabbikumyour Lordتُرۡجَعُونَtur'ja'unayou will be returned١٥
45:16وَلَقَدۡwalaqadAnd certainlyءَاتَيۡنَاataynaWe gaveبَنِيٓbani(the) Children of Israelإِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَis'raila(the) Children of Israelٱلۡكِتَٰبَal-kitabathe Bookوَٱلۡحُكۡمَwal-huk'maand the wisdomوَٱلنُّبُوَّةَwal-nubuwataand the Prophethoodوَرَزَقۡنَٰهُمwarazaqnahumand We provided themمِّنَminaofٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِal-tayibatithe good thingsوَفَضَّلۡنَٰهُمۡwafaddalnahumand We preferred themعَلَىalaoverٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَal-'alaminathe worlds١٦
45:17وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمwaataynahumAnd We gave themبَيِّنَٰتٖbayyinatinclear proofsمِّنَminaofٱلۡأَمۡرِۖal-amrithe matterفَمَاfamaAnd notٱخۡتَلَفُوٓاْikh'talafuthey differedإِلَّاillaexceptمِنۢminafterبَعۡدِba'diafterمَاma[what]جَآءَهُمُjaahumucame to themٱلۡعِلۡمُal-'il'muthe knowledgeبَغۡيَۢاbaghyan(out of) envyبَيۡنَهُمۡۚbaynahumbetween themselvesإِنَّinnaIndeedرَبَّكَrabbakayour Lordيَقۡضِيyaqdiwill judgeبَيۡنَهُمۡbaynahumbetween themيَوۡمَyawma(on the) Dayٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِal-qiyamati(of) the Resurrectionفِيمَاfimaabout whatكَانُواْkanuthey used toفِيهِfihithereinيَخۡتَلِفُونَyakhtalifunadiffer١٧
45:18ثُمَّthummaThenجَعَلۡنَٰكَja'alnakaWe put youعَلَىٰalaonشَرِيعَةٖshari'atinan ordained wayمِّنَminaofٱلۡأَمۡرِal-amrithe matterفَٱتَّبِعۡهَاfa-ittabi'haso follow itوَلَاwalaand (do) notتَتَّبِعۡtattabi'followأَهۡوَآءَahwaa(the) desiresٱلَّذِينَalladhina(of) those whoلَاla(do) notيَعۡلَمُونَya'lamunaknow١٨
45:19إِنَّهُمۡinnahumIndeed theyلَنlanneverيُغۡنُواْyugh'nuwill availعَنكَankayouمِنَminaagainstٱللَّهِal-lahiAllahشَيۡـٔٗاۚshayan(in) anythingوَإِنَّwa-innaAnd indeedٱلظَّٰلِمِينَal-zaliminathe wrongdoersبَعۡضُهُمۡba'duhumsome of themأَوۡلِيَآءُawliyau(are) alliesبَعۡضٖۖba'din(of) othersوَٱللَّهُwal-lahuand Allahوَلِيُّwaliyyu(is the) Protectorٱلۡمُتَّقِينَal-mutaqina(of) the righteous١٩
45:20هَٰذَاhadhaThisبَصَٰٓئِرُbasairu(is) enlightenmentلِلنَّاسِlilnnasifor mankindوَهُدٗىwahudanand guidanceوَرَحۡمَةٞwarahmatunand mercyلِّقَوۡمٖliqawminfor a peopleيُوقِنُونَyuqinunawho are certain٢٠
45:21أَمۡamDoحَسِبَhasibathinkٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoٱجۡتَرَحُواْij'tarahucommitٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِal-sayiatievil deedsأَنanthatنَّجۡعَلَهُمۡnaj'alahumWe will make themكَٱلَّذِينَka-alladhinalike those whoءَامَنُواْamanubelievedوَعَمِلُواْwa'amiluand didٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِal-salihatirighteous deedsسَوَآءٗsawaanequalمَّحۡيَاهُمۡmahyahum(in) their lifeوَمَمَاتُهُمۡۚwamamatuhumand their deathسَآءَsaaEvil isمَاmawhatيَحۡكُمُونَyahkumunathey judge٢١
45:22وَخَلَقَwakhalaqaAnd Allah createdٱللَّهُal-lahuAnd Allah createdٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِal-samawatithe heavensوَٱلۡأَرۡضَwal-ardaand the earthبِٱلۡحَقِّbil-haqiin truthوَلِتُجۡزَىٰwalituj'zaand that may be recompensedكُلُّkullueveryنَفۡسِۭnafsinsoulبِمَاbimafor whatكَسَبَتۡkasabatit has earnedوَهُمۡwahumand theyلَاlawill not be wrongedيُظۡلَمُونَyuz'lamunawill not be wronged٢٢
45:23أَفَرَءَيۡتَafara-aytaHave you seenمَنِmani(he) whoٱتَّخَذَittakhadhatakesإِلَٰهَهُۥilahahu(as) his godهَوَىٰهُhawahuhis desireوَأَضَلَّهُwa-adallahuand Allah lets him go astrayٱللَّهُal-lahuand Allah lets him go astrayعَلَىٰalaknowinglyعِلۡمٖil'minknowinglyوَخَتَمَwakhatamaand He sets a sealعَلَىٰalauponسَمۡعِهِۦsam'ihihis hearingوَقَلۡبِهِۦwaqalbihiand his heartوَجَعَلَwaja'alaand putsعَلَىٰalaoverبَصَرِهِۦbasarihihis visionغِشَٰوَةٗghishawatana veilفَمَنfamanThen whoيَهۡدِيهِyahdihiwill guide himمِنۢminafterبَعۡدِba'diafterٱللَّهِۚal-lahiAllahأَفَلَاafalaThen will notتَذَكَّرُونَtadhakkarunayou receive admonition٢٣
45:24وَقَالُواْwaqaluAnd they sayمَاmaNotهِيَhiyaitإِلَّاilla(is) butحَيَاتُنَاhayatunaour lifeٱلدُّنۡيَاal-dun'ya(of) the worldنَمُوتُnamutuwe dieوَنَحۡيَاwanahyaand we liveوَمَاwamaand notيُهۡلِكُنَآyuh'likunadestroys usإِلَّاillaexceptٱلدَّهۡرُۚal-dahruthe timeوَمَاwamaAnd notلَهُمlahumfor themبِذَٰلِكَbidhalikaof thatمِنۡminanyعِلۡمٍۖil'minknowledgeإِنۡinnotهُمۡhumtheyإِلَّاilla(do) butيَظُنُّونَyazunnunaguess٢٤
45:25وَإِذَاwa-idhaAnd whenتُتۡلَىٰtut'laare recitedعَلَيۡهِمۡalayhimto themءَايَٰتُنَاayatunaOur Versesبَيِّنَٰتٖbayyinatinclearمَّاmanotكَانَkanaisحُجَّتَهُمۡhujjatahumtheir argumentإِلَّآillaexceptأَنanthatقَالُواْqaluthey sayٱئۡتُواْi'tuBringبِـَٔابَآئِنَآbiabainaour forefathersإِنinifكُنتُمۡkuntumyou areصَٰدِقِينَsadiqinatruthful٢٥
45:26قُلِquliSayٱللَّهُal-lahuAllahيُحۡيِيكُمۡyuh'yikumgives you lifeثُمَّthummathenيُمِيتُكُمۡyumitukumcauses you to dieثُمَّthummathenيَجۡمَعُكُمۡyajma'ukumHe will gather youإِلَىٰilatoيَوۡمِyawmi(the) Dayٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِal-qiyamati(of) the Resurrectionلَاlanoرَيۡبَraybadoubtفِيهِfihiabout itوَلَٰكِنَّwalakinnaButأَكۡثَرَaktharamostٱلنَّاسِal-nasi(of) the peopleلَاla(do) notيَعۡلَمُونَya'lamunaknow٢٦
45:27وَلِلَّهِwalillahiAnd for Allahمُلۡكُmul'ku(is the) dominionٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِal-samawati(of) the heavensوَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚwal-ardiand the earthوَيَوۡمَwayawmaand (the) Dayتَقُومُtaqumuis establishedٱلسَّاعَةُal-sa'atuthe Hourيَوۡمَئِذٖyawma-idhinthat Dayيَخۡسَرُyakhsaruwill loseٱلۡمُبۡطِلُونَal-mub'tilunathe falsifiers٢٧
45:28وَتَرَىٰwataraAnd you will seeكُلَّkullaeveryأُمَّةٖummatinnationجَاثِيَةٗۚjathiyatankneelingكُلُّkulluEveryأُمَّةٖummatinnationتُدۡعَىٰٓtud'awill be calledإِلَىٰilatoكِتَٰبِهَاkitabihaits recordٱلۡيَوۡمَal-yawmaTodayتُجۡزَوۡنَtuj'zawnayou will be recompensedمَاma(for) whatكُنتُمۡkuntumyou used toتَعۡمَلُونَta'malunado٢٨
45:29هَٰذَاhadhaThisكِتَٰبُنَاkitabunaOur Recordيَنطِقُyantiquspeaksعَلَيۡكُمalaykumabout youبِٱلۡحَقِّۚbil-haqiin truthإِنَّاinnaIndeed Weكُنَّاkunna[We] used toنَسۡتَنسِخُnastansikhutranscribeمَاmawhatكُنتُمۡkuntumyou used toتَعۡمَلُونَta'malunado٢٩
45:30فَأَمَّاfa-ammaThen as forٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoءَامَنُواْamanubelievedوَعَمِلُواْwa'amiluand didٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِal-salihati[the] righteous deedsفَيُدۡخِلُهُمۡfayud'khiluhumwill admit themرَبُّهُمۡrabbuhumtheir Lordفِيfiin(to)رَحۡمَتِهِۦۚrahmatihiHis mercyذَٰلِكَdhalikaThatهُوَhuwa[it]ٱلۡفَوۡزُal-fawzu(is) the successٱلۡمُبِينُal-mubinuclear٣٠
45:31وَأَمَّاwa-ammaBut as forٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoكَفَرُوٓاْkafarudisbelievedأَفَلَمۡafalamThen were notتَكُنۡtakunThen were notءَايَٰتِيayatiMy Versesتُتۡلَىٰtut'larecitedعَلَيۡكُمۡalaykumto youفَٱسۡتَكۡبَرۡتُمۡfa-is'takbartumbut you were proudوَكُنتُمۡwakuntumand you becameقَوۡمٗاqawmana peopleمُّجۡرِمِينَmuj'riminacriminals٣١
45:32وَإِذَاwa-idhaAnd whenقِيلَqilait was saidإِنَّinnaIndeedوَعۡدَwa'da(the) Promiseٱللَّهِal-lahi(of) Allahحَقّٞhaqqun(is) trueوَٱلسَّاعَةُwal-sa'atuand the Hour لَاla(there is) noرَيۡبَraybadoubtفِيهَاfihaabout itقُلۡتُمqul'tumyou saidمَّاmaNotنَدۡرِيnadriwe knowمَاmawhatٱلسَّاعَةُal-sa'atuthe Hour (is)إِنinNotنَّظُنُّnazunnuwe thinkإِلَّاillaexceptظَنّٗاzannanan assumptionوَمَاwamaand notنَحۡنُnahnuweبِمُسۡتَيۡقِنِينَbimus'tayqinina(are) convinced٣٢
45:33وَبَدَاwabadaAnd (will) appearلَهُمۡlahumto themسَيِّـَٔاتُsayyiatu(the) evilمَاma(of) whatعَمِلُواْamiluthey didوَحَاقَwahaqaand (will) envelopبِهِمbihimthemمَّاmawhatكَانُواْkanuthey usedبِهِۦbihi[at it]يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَyastahziuna(to) mock٣٣
45:34وَقِيلَwaqilaAnd it will be saidٱلۡيَوۡمَal-yawmaTodayنَنسَىٰكُمۡnansakumWe forget youكَمَاkamaasنَسِيتُمۡnasitumyou forgotلِقَآءَliqaa(the) meetingيَوۡمِكُمۡyawmikum(of) this Day of yoursهَٰذَاhadha(of) this Day of yoursوَمَأۡوَىٰكُمُwamawakumuand your abodeٱلنَّارُal-naru(is) the Fireوَمَاwamaand notلَكُمlakumfor youمِّنminanyنَّٰصِرِينَnasirinahelpers٣٤
45:35ذَٰلِكُمdhalikumThatبِأَنَّكُمُbi-annakumu(is) because youٱتَّخَذۡتُمۡittakhadhtumtookءَايَٰتِayati(the) Versesٱللَّهِal-lahi(of) Allahهُزُوٗاhuzuwan(in) ridiculeوَغَرَّتۡكُمُwagharratkumuand deceived youٱلۡحَيَوٰةُal-hayatuthe lifeٱلدُّنۡيَاۚal-dun'ya(of) the worldفَٱلۡيَوۡمَfal-yawmaSo this Dayلَاlanotيُخۡرَجُونَyukh'rajunathey will be brought forthمِنۡهَاmin'hafrom itوَلَاwalaand notهُمۡhumtheyيُسۡتَعۡتَبُونَyus'ta'tabunawill be asked to appease٣٥
45:36فَلِلَّهِfalillahiThen for Allahٱلۡحَمۡدُal-hamdu(is) all the praiseرَبِّrabbi(the) Lordٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِal-samawati(of) the heavensوَرَبِّwarabbiand (the) Lordٱلۡأَرۡضِal-ardi(of) the earthرَبِّrabbi(the) lordٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَal-'alamina(of) the worlds٣٦
45:37وَلَهُwalahuAnd for Himٱلۡكِبۡرِيَآءُal-kib'riyau(is) the greatnessفِيfiinٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِal-samawatithe heavensوَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖwal-ardiand the earthوَهُوَwahuwaand Heٱلۡعَزِيزُal-'azizu(is) the All-Mightyٱلۡحَكِيمُal-hakimuthe All-Wise٣٧
