وَزُرُوعٖ
Wa-zurooʻiñw
And cornfields
وَمَقَامٖ
Wamaq̣aamiñ
and places
كَرِيمٖ
kareem,
noble
٢٦
44:27
وَنَعۡمَةٖ
Wa-naʻmatiñ
And pleasant things
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they used to
فِيهَا
feehaa
therein
فَٰكِهِينَ
faakiheen!
take delight
٢٧
44:28
كَذَٰلِكَۖ
Kaẓaalik!
Thus
وَأَوۡرَثۡنَٰهَا
wa-ʹawras̤naahaa
And We made it (an) inherit(ance)
قَوۡمًا
q̣awman
(for) a people
ءَاخَرِينَ
ʹaakhareen!
another
٢٨
44:29
فَمَا
Famaa
And not
بَكَتۡ
bakat
wept
عَلَيۡهِمُ
ʻalayhimus
for them
ٱلسَّمَآءُ
samaaaʹu
the heaven
وَٱلۡأَرۡضُ
wal-ʹarḍu
and the earth
وَمَا
wa-maa
and not
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they were
مُنظَرِينَ
muñz̤̣areen.
given respite
٢٩
44:30
وَلَقَدۡ
Wa-laq̣ad
And certainly
نَجَّيۡنَا
najjaynaa
We saved
بَنِيٓ
Baneee
(the) Children of Israel
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
ʹIsraaaʹeela
(the) Children of Israel
مِنَ
minal
from
ٱلۡعَذَابِ
ʻaẓaabil
the punishment
ٱلۡمُهِينِ
muheen.
the humiliating
٣٠
44:31
مِن
Miñ
From
فِرۡعَوۡنَۚ
Firʻawn:
Firaun
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹinnahoo
Indeed he
كَانَ
kaana
was
عَالِيٗا
ʻaaliyam
arrogant
مِّنَ
minal
among
ٱلۡمُسۡرِفِينَ
musrifeen.
the transgressors
٣١
44:32
وَلَقَدِ
Wa-laq̣adikh
And certainly
ٱخۡتَرۡنَٰهُمۡ
tarnaahum
We chose them
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
by
عِلۡمٍ
ʻilmin
knowledge
عَلَى
ʻalal
over
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
ʻaalameen,
the worlds
٣٢
44:33
وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُم
Waʹaataynaahum
And We gave them
مِّنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ
ʹAayaati
the Signs
مَا
maa-
that
فِيهِ
feehi
in it
بَلَٰٓؤٞاْ
balaaaʹum
(was) a trial
مُّبِينٌ
mubeen.

44:34
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haaaʹulaaaʹi
these
لَيَقُولُونَ
layaq̣ooloon,
surely they say
٣٤
44:35
إِنۡ
ʹIn
Not
هِيَ
hiya
it
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
(is) but
مَوۡتَتُنَا
mawtatunal
our death
ٱلۡأُولَىٰ
ʹoolaa
the first
وَمَا
wa-maa
and not
نَحۡنُ
naḥnu
we
بِمُنشَرِينَ
bimuñshareen.
(will be) raised again
٣٥
44:36
فَأۡتُواْ
Faʹtoo
Then bring
بِـَٔابَآئِنَآ
biʹaabaaaʹinaaa
our forefathers
إِن
ʹiñ
if
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you are
صَٰدِقِينَ
ṣaadiq̣een!
truthful
٣٦
44:37
أَهُمۡ
ʹAhum
Are they
خَيۡرٌ
khayrun
better
أَمۡ
ʹam
or
قَوۡمُ
q̣awmu
(the) people
تُبَّعٖ
Tubbaʻiñw
(of) Tubba
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wallaẓeena
and those
مِن
miñ
before them
قَبۡلِهِمۡ
q̣ablihim?
before them
أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُمۡۚ
ʹAhlaknaahum
We destroyed them
إِنَّهُمۡ
ʹinnahum
indeed they
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
were
مُجۡرِمِينَ
mujrimeen.
criminals
٣٧
44:38
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
خَلَقۡنَا
khalaq̣nas
We created
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ
wal-ʹarḍa
and the earth
وَمَا
wa-maa
and whatever
بَيۡنَهُمَا
baynahumaa
(is) between them
لَٰعِبِينَ
laaʻibeen.
(in) play
٣٨
44:39
مَا
Maa-
Not
خَلَقۡنَٰهُمَآ
khalaq̣naahumaaa
We created both of them
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
but
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
bilḥaq̣q̣i
in [the] truth
وَلَٰكِنَّ
wa-laakinna
but
أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ
ʹaks̤arahum
most of them
لَا
laa-
(do) not
يَعۡلَمُونَ
yaʻlamoon.
know

إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
يَوۡمَ
Yawmal
(the) Day of Judgment
ٱلۡفَصۡلِ
faṣli
(the) Day of Judgment
مِيقَٰتُهُمۡ
meeq̣aatuhum
(is) an appointed term for them
أَجۡمَعِينَ
ʹajmaʻeen.―
all

44:41
يَوۡمَ
Yawma
(The) Day
لَا
laa-
not
يُغۡنِي
yug̣nee
will avail
مَوۡلًى
mawlan
a relation
عَن
ʻam
for
مَّوۡلٗى
mawlañ
a relation
شَيۡـٔٗا
shayʹañw
anything
وَلَا
walaa
and not
هُمۡ
hum
they
يُنصَرُونَ
yuñṣaroon,
will be helped
٤١
44:42
إِلَّا
ʹIllaa
Except
مَن
mar
(on) whom
رَّحِمَ
raḥimal
Allah has mercy
ٱللَّهُۚ
laah:
Allah has mercy
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹinnahoo
Indeed He
هُوَ
Huwal
[He]
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
ʻAzeezur
(is) the All-Mighty
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
Raḥeem.
the Most Merciful
٤٢
44:43
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
شَجَرَتَ
shajarataz
(the) tree
ٱلزَّقُّومِ
Zaq̣q̣oom,
(of) Zaqqum
٤٣
44:44
طَعَامُ
Ṭaʻaamul
(Will be) food
ٱلۡأَثِيمِ
ʹas̤eem,―
(of) the sinner(s)
٤٤
44:45
كَٱلۡمُهۡلِ
Kalmuhli
Like the murky oil
يَغۡلِي
yag̣lee
it will boil
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡبُطُونِ
buṭoon,
the bellies
٤٥
44:46
كَغَلۡيِ
Kag̣alyil
Like boiling
ٱلۡحَمِيمِ
ḥameem.
(of) scalding water
٤٦
44:47
خُذُوهُ
Khuẓoohu
Seize him
فَٱعۡتِلُوهُ
faʻtiloohu
and drag him
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
into
سَوَآءِ
sawaaaʹil
(the) midst
ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
Jaḥeem!
(of) the Hellfire
٤٧
44:48
ثُمَّ
S̤umma
Then
صُبُّواْ
ṣubboo
pour
فَوۡقَ
fawq̣a
over
رَأۡسِهِۦ
raʹsihee
his head
مِنۡ
min
of
عَذَابِ
ʻAẓaabil
(the) punishment
ٱلۡحَمِيمِ
Ḥameem.
(of) the scalding water
٤٨
44:49
ذُقۡ
Ẓuq̣!
Taste
إِنَّكَ
ʹinnaka
Indeed you
أَنتَ
ʹañtal
[you] (were)
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
ʻazeezul
the mighty
ٱلۡكَرِيمُ
kareem!
the noble
٤٩
44:50
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
هَٰذَا
haaẓaa
this
مَا
maa-
(is) what
كُنتُم
kuñtum̃
you used to
بِهِۦ
bihee
[about it]
تَمۡتَرُونَ
tamtaroon!
doubt
