44:27وَنَعۡمَةٖWa-naʻmatiñAnd pleasant thingsكَانُواْkaanoothey used toفِيهَاfeehaathereinفَٰكِهِينَfaakiheen!take delight٢٧
44:28كَذَٰلِكَۖKaẓaalik!Thusوَأَوۡرَثۡنَٰهَاwa-ʹawras̤naahaaAnd We made it (an) inherit(ance)قَوۡمًاq̣awman(for) a peopleءَاخَرِينَʹaakhareen!another٢٨
44:29فَمَاFamaaAnd notبَكَتۡbakatweptعَلَيۡهِمُʻalayhimusfor themٱلسَّمَآءُsamaaaʹuthe heavenوَٱلۡأَرۡضُwal-ʹarḍuand the earthوَمَاwa-maaand notكَانُواْkaanoothey wereمُنظَرِينَmuñz̤̣areen.given respite٢٩
44:30وَلَقَدۡWa-laq̣adAnd certainlyنَجَّيۡنَاnajjaynaaWe savedبَنِيٓBaneee(the) Children of IsraelإِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَʹIsraaaʹeela(the) Children of Israelمِنَminalfromٱلۡعَذَابِʻaẓaabilthe punishmentٱلۡمُهِينِmuheen.the humiliating٣٠
44:31مِنMiñFromفِرۡعَوۡنَۚFirʻawn:FiraunإِنَّهُۥʹinnahooIndeed heكَانَkaanawasعَالِيٗاʻaaliyamarrogantمِّنَminalamongٱلۡمُسۡرِفِينَmusrifeen.the transgressors٣١
44:32وَلَقَدِWa-laq̣adikhAnd certainlyٱخۡتَرۡنَٰهُمۡtarnaahumWe chose themعَلَىٰʻalaabyعِلۡمٍʻilminknowledgeعَلَىʻalaloverٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَʻaalameen,the worlds٣٢
44:33وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمWaʹaataynaahumAnd We gave themمِّنَminalofٱلۡأٓيَٰتِʹAayaatithe Signsمَاmaa-thatفِيهِfeehiin itبَلَٰٓؤٞاْbalaaaʹum(was) a trialمُّبِينٌmubeen.clear٣٣
44:35إِنۡʹInNotهِيَhiyaitإِلَّاʹillaa(is) butمَوۡتَتُنَاmawtatunalour deathٱلۡأُولَىٰʹoolaathe firstوَمَاwa-maaand notنَحۡنُnaḥnuweبِمُنشَرِينَbimuñshareen.(will be) raised again٣٥
44:36فَأۡتُواْFaʹtooThen bringبِـَٔابَآئِنَآbiʹaabaaaʹinaaaour forefathersإِنʹiñifكُنتُمۡkuñtumyou areصَٰدِقِينَṣaadiq̣een!truthful٣٦
44:37أَهُمۡʹAhumAre theyخَيۡرٌkhayrunbetterأَمۡʹamorقَوۡمُq̣awmu(the) peopleتُبَّعٖTubbaʻiñw(of) Tubbaوَٱلَّذِينَwallaẓeenaand thoseمِنmiñbefore themقَبۡلِهِمۡq̣ablihim?before themأَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُمۡۚʹAhlaknaahumWe destroyed themإِنَّهُمۡʹinnahumindeed theyكَانُواْkaanoowereمُجۡرِمِينَmujrimeen.criminals٣٧
44:38وَمَاWa-maaAnd notخَلَقۡنَاkhalaq̣nasWe createdٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِsamaawaatithe heavensوَٱلۡأَرۡضَwal-ʹarḍaand the earthوَمَاwa-maaand whateverبَيۡنَهُمَاbaynahumaa(is) between themلَٰعِبِينَlaaʻibeen.(in) play٣٨
44:39مَاMaa-Notخَلَقۡنَٰهُمَآkhalaq̣naahumaaaWe created both of themإِلَّاʹillaabutبِٱلۡحَقِّbilḥaq̣q̣iin [the] truthوَلَٰكِنَّwa-laakinnabutأَكۡثَرَهُمۡʹaks̤arahummost of themلَاlaa-(do) notيَعۡلَمُونَyaʻlamoon.know٣٩
44:40إِنَّʹInnaIndeedيَوۡمَYawmal(the) Day of Judgmentٱلۡفَصۡلِfaṣli(the) Day of Judgmentمِيقَٰتُهُمۡmeeq̣aatuhum(is) an appointed term for themأَجۡمَعِينَʹajmaʻeen.―all٤٠
44:41يَوۡمَYawma(The) Dayلَاlaa-notيُغۡنِيyug̣neewill availمَوۡلًىmawlana relationعَنʻamforمَّوۡلٗىmawlaña relationشَيۡـٔٗاshayʹañwanythingوَلَاwalaaand notهُمۡhumtheyيُنصَرُونَyuñṣaroon,will be helped٤١
44:42إِلَّاʹIllaaExceptمَنmar(on) whomرَّحِمَraḥimalAllah has mercyٱللَّهُۚlaah:Allah has mercyإِنَّهُۥʹinnahooIndeed HeهُوَHuwal[He]ٱلۡعَزِيزُʻAzeezur(is) the All-MightyٱلرَّحِيمُRaḥeem.the Most Merciful٤٢
44:45كَٱلۡمُهۡلِKalmuhliLike the murky oilيَغۡلِيyag̣leeit will boilفِيfilinٱلۡبُطُونِbuṭoon,the bellies٤٥
44:47خُذُوهُKhuẓoohuSeize himفَٱعۡتِلُوهُfaʻtiloohuand drag himإِلَىٰʹilaaintoسَوَآءِsawaaaʹil(the) midstٱلۡجَحِيمِJaḥeem!(of) the Hellfire٤٧
44:48ثُمَّS̤ummaThenصُبُّواْṣubboopourفَوۡقَfawq̣aoverرَأۡسِهِۦraʹsiheehis headمِنۡminofعَذَابِʻAẓaabil(the) punishmentٱلۡحَمِيمِḤameem.(of) the scalding water٤٨
44:49ذُقۡẒuq̣!TasteإِنَّكَʹinnakaIndeed youأَنتَʹañtal[you] (were)ٱلۡعَزِيزُʻazeezulthe mightyٱلۡكَرِيمُkareem!the noble٤٩
44:50إِنَّʹInnaIndeedهَٰذَاhaaẓaathisمَاmaa-(is) whatكُنتُمkuñtum̃you used toبِهِۦbihee[about it]تَمۡتَرُونَtamtaroon!doubt٥٠
