44:2
وَٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
Wal-Kitaabil
By the Book
ٱلۡمُبِينِ
Mubeen.
the clear

إِنَّآ
ʹInnaaa
Indeed We
أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ
ʹañzalnaahu
revealed it
فِي
fee
in
لَيۡلَةٖ
laylatim
a Night
مُّبَٰرَكَةٍۚ
mubaarakatin
Blessed
إِنَّا
ʹinnaa
Indeed We
كُنَّا
kunnaa
[We] are
مُنذِرِينَ
muñẓireen.
(ever) warning
٣
44:4
فِيهَا
Feehaa
Therein
يُفۡرَقُ
yufraq̣u
is made distinct
كُلُّ
kullu
every
أَمۡرٍ
ʹamrin
affair
حَكِيمٍ
ḥakeem,
wise
٤
44:5
أَمۡرٗا
ʹAmram
A command
مِّنۡ
min
from
عِندِنَآۚ
ʻiñdinaa.
Us
إِنَّا
ʹInnaa
Indeed We
كُنَّا
kunnaa
[We] are
مُرۡسِلِينَ
mursileen―
(ever) sending
٥
44:6
رَحۡمَةٗ
Raḥmatam
As Mercy
مِّن
mir
from
رَّبِّكَۚ
Rabbik:
your Lord
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹinnahoo
Indeed He
هُوَ
Huwas
[He]
ٱلسَّمِيعُ
Sameeʻul
(is) the All-Hearer
ٱلۡعَلِيمُ
ʻAleem;
the All-Knower
٦
44:7
رَبِّ
Rabbis
Lord
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
wal-ʹarḍi
and the earth
وَمَا
wa-maa
and whatever
بَيۡنَهُمَآۖ
baynahumaa,
(is) between both of them
إِن
Iñ
if
كُنتُم
kuntum
you are
مُّوقِنِينَ
mooq̣ineen.
certain
٧
44:8
لَآ
Laaa
(There is) no
إِلَٰهَ
ʹilaaha
god
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
هُوَ
Huwa
Him
يُحۡيِۦ
yuḥyee
He gives life
وَيُمِيتُۖ
wa-yumeet:―
and causes death
رَبُّكُمۡ
Rabbukum
your Lord
وَرَبُّ
wa-Rabbu
and (the) Lord
ءَابَآئِكُمُ
ʹaabaaaʹikumul
(of) your fathers
ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
ʹawwaleen.
the former

44:9
بَلۡ
Bal
Nay
هُمۡ
hum
they
فِي
fee
(are) in
شَكّٖ
shakkiñy
doubt
يَلۡعَبُونَ
yalʻaboon.
playing
٩
44:10
فَٱرۡتَقِبۡ
Fartaq̣ib
Then watch
يَوۡمَ
Yawma
(for the) Day
تَأۡتِي
taʹtis
(when) will bring
ٱلسَّمَآءُ
samaaaʹu
the sky
بِدُخَانٖ
bi-DUKHAANIM
smoke
مُّبِينٖ
mubeen,
visible
١٠
44:11
يَغۡشَى
Yag̣shan
Enveloping
ٱلنَّاسَۖ
naas:
the people
هَٰذَا
haaẓaa
This
عَذَابٌ
ʻAẓaabun
(will be) a punishment
أَلِيمٞ
ʹaleem.
painful
١١
44:12
رَّبَّنَا
Rabbanak
Our Lord
ٱكۡشِفۡ
shif
Remove
عَنَّا
ʻannal
from us
ٱلۡعَذَابَ
ʻaẓaaba
the punishment
إِنَّا
ʹinnaa
indeed we
مُؤۡمِنُونَ
Muʹminoon!
(are) believers
١٢
44:13
أَنَّىٰ
ʹAnnaa
How can
لَهُمُ
lahumuẓ
(there be) for them
ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ
Ẓikraa
the reminder
وَقَدۡ
wa-q̣ad
when verily
جَآءَهُمۡ
jaaaʹahum
had come to them
رَسُولٞ
Rasoolum
a Messenger
مُّبِينٞ
mubeen,―
clear
١٣
44:14
ثُمَّ
S̤umma
Then
تَوَلَّوۡاْ
tawallaw
they turned away
عَنۡهُ
ʻanhu
from him
وَقَالُواْ
wa-q̣aaloo
and said
مُعَلَّمٞ
muʻallamum
One taught
مَّجۡنُونٌ
majnoon.
a mad man
١٤
44:15
إِنَّا
ʹInnaa
Indeed We
كَاشِفُواْ
kaashiful
(will) remove
ٱلۡعَذَابِ
ʻaẓaabi
the punishment
قَلِيلًاۚ
q̣aleelan
a little
إِنَّكُمۡ
ʹinnakum
indeed you
عَآئِدُونَ
ʻaaaʹidoon.
(will) return
١٥
44:16
يَوۡمَ
Yawma
(The) Day
نَبۡطِشُ
nabṭishul
We will seize
ٱلۡبَطۡشَةَ
baṭshatal
(with) the seizure
ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰٓ
kubraa:
the greatest
إِنَّا
ʹinnaa
indeed We
مُنتَقِمُونَ
muñtaq̣imoon!
(will) take retribution

44:17
۞وَلَقَدۡ
Wa-laq̣ad
And certainly
فَتَنَّا
fatannaa
We tried
قَبۡلَهُمۡ
q̣ablahum
before them
قَوۡمَ
q̣awma
(the) people
فِرۡعَوۡنَ
Firʻawna
(of) Firaun
وَجَآءَهُمۡ
wa-jaaaʹahum
and came to them
رَسُولٞ
Rasooluñ
a Messenger
كَرِيمٌ
Kareem,
noble
١٧
44:18
أَنۡ
ʹAn
That
أَدُّوٓاْ
ʹaddooo
Deliver
إِلَيَّ
ʹilayya
to me
عِبَادَ
ʻibaadal
(the) servants
ٱللَّهِۖ
laah:
(of) Allah
إِنِّي
ʹinnee
Indeed I am
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
رَسُولٌ
Rasoolun
a Messenger
أَمِينٞ
ʹameen;
trustworthy

وَأَن
Wa-ʹal
And that
لَّا
laa
(do) not
تَعۡلُواْ
taʻloo
exalt yourselves
عَلَى
ʻalal
against
ٱللَّهِۖ
laah:
Allah
إِنِّيٓ
ʹinneee
Indeed I
ءَاتِيكُم
ʹaateekum̃
[I] have come to you
بِسُلۡطَٰنٖ
bisulṭaanim
with an authority
مُّبِينٖ
mubeen.

44:20
وَإِنِّي
Wa-ʹinnee
And indeed I
عُذۡتُ
ʻuẓtu
[I] seek refuge
بِرَبِّي
bi-Rabbee
with my Lord
وَرَبِّكُمۡ
wa-Rabbikum
and your Lord
أَن
ʹañ
lest
تَرۡجُمُونِ
tarjumoon.
you stone me
٢٠
44:21
وَإِن
Wa-ʹil
And if
لَّمۡ
lam
not
تُؤۡمِنُواْ
tuʹminoo
you believe
لِي
lee
me
فَٱعۡتَزِلُونِ
faʻtaziloon.
then leave me alone
٢١
44:22
فَدَعَا
Fadaʻaa
So he called
رَبَّهُۥٓ
Rabbahooo
his Lord
أَنَّ
ʹanna
That
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haaaʹulaaaʹi
these
قَوۡمٞ
q̣awmum
(are) a people
مُّجۡرِمُونَ
mujrimoon.
criminals
٢٢
44:23
فَأَسۡرِ
Faʹasri
Then Set out
بِعِبَادِي
biʹibaadee
with My slaves
لَيۡلًا
laylan
(by) night
إِنَّكُم
ʹinnakum
Indeed you
مُّتَّبَعُونَ
muttabaʻoon.
(will be) followed
٢٣
44:24
وَٱتۡرُكِ
Watrukil
And leave
ٱلۡبَحۡرَ
baḥra
the sea
رَهۡوًاۖ
rahwaa:
at rest
إِنَّهُمۡ
ʹinnahum
Indeed they
جُندٞ
juñdum
(are) an army
مُّغۡرَقُونَ
mug̣raq̣oon.
(to be) drowned
٢٤
44:25
كَمۡ
Kam
How many
تَرَكُواْ
tarakoo
(did) they leave
مِن
miñ
of
جَنَّٰتٖ
jannaatiñw
gardens
وَعُيُونٖ
waʻuyoon,
and springs
٢٥
