فَأَصَابَهُمۡ
Faʹaṣaabahum
Then struck them
سَيِّـَٔاتُ
sayyiʹaatu
(the) evils
مَا
maa-
(of) what
كَسَبُواْۚ
kasaboo.
they earned
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
And those who
ظَلَمُواْ
z̤̣alamoo
have wronged
مِنۡ
min
of
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haaaʹulaaaʹi
these
سَيُصِيبُهُمۡ
sayuṣeebuhum
will strike them
سَيِّـَٔاتُ
sayyiʹaatu
(the) evils
مَا
maa-
(of) what
كَسَبُواْ
kasaboo
they earned
وَمَا
wa-maa
and not
هُم
hum̃
they
بِمُعۡجِزِينَ
bimuʻjizeen!
will be able to escape
٥١
39:52
أَوَلَمۡ
ʹAwalam
Do not
يَعۡلَمُوٓاْ
yaʻlamooo
they know
أَنَّ
ʹannal
that
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
يَبۡسُطُ
yabsuṭur
extends
ٱلرِّزۡقَ
rizq̣a
the provision
لِمَن
limañy
for whom
يَشَآءُ
yashaaaʹu
He wills
وَيَقۡدِرُۚ
wa-yaq̣dir?
and restricts
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
فِي
fee
in
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
لَأٓيَٰتٖ
laʹAayaatil
surely (are) signs
لِّقَوۡمٖ
liq̣awmiñy
for a people
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yuʹminoon!
who believe
٥٢
39:53
۞قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
يَٰعِبَادِيَ
yaaʻIbaadiyal
O My slaves
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
Those who
أَسۡرَفُواْ
ʹasrafoo
have transgressed
عَلَىٰٓ
ʻalaaa
against
أَنفُسِهِمۡ
ʹañfusihim
themselves
لَا
laa-
(do) not
تَقۡنَطُواْ
taq̣naṭoo
despair
مِن
mir
of
رَّحۡمَةِ
Raḥmatil
(the) Mercy
ٱللَّهِۚ
laah:
(of) Allah
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
يَغۡفِرُ
yag̣firuẓ
forgives
ٱلذُّنُوبَ
ẓunooba
the sins
جَمِيعًاۚ
jameeʻaa.
all
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹInnahoo
Indeed He
هُوَ
Huwal
He
ٱلۡغَفُورُ
G̣afoorur
(is) the Oft-Forgiving
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
Raḥeem.
the Most Merciful
٥٣
39:54
وَأَنِيبُوٓاْ
Wa-ʹaneebooo
And turn
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
رَبِّكُمۡ
Rabbikum
your Lord
وَأَسۡلِمُواْ
wa-ʹaslimoo
and submit
لَهُۥ
lahoo
to Him
مِن
miñ
before
قَبۡلِ
q̣abli
before
أَن
ʹañy
[that]
يَأۡتِيَكُمُ
yaʹtiyakumul
comes to you
ٱلۡعَذَابُ
ʻAẓaabu
the punishment
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
لَا
laa-
not
تُنصَرُونَ
tuñṣaroon.
you will be helped
٥٤
39:55
وَٱتَّبِعُوٓاْ
Wattabiʻooo
And follow
أَحۡسَنَ
ʹaḥsana
(the) best
مَآ
maaa
(of) what
أُنزِلَ
ʹuñzila
is revealed
إِلَيۡكُم
ʹilaykum
to you
مِّن
mir
from
رَّبِّكُم
Rabbikum
your Lord
مِّن
miñ
before
قَبۡلِ
q̣abli
before
أَن
ʹañy
[that]
يَأۡتِيَكُمُ
yaʹtiyakumul
comes to you
ٱلۡعَذَابُ
ʻaẓaabu
the punishment
بَغۡتَةٗ
bag̣tatañw
suddenly
وَأَنتُمۡ
waʹañtum
while you
لَا
laa-
(do) not
تَشۡعُرُونَ
tashʻuroon!―
perceive
٥٥
39:56
أَن
ʹAñ
Lest
تَقُولَ
taq̣oola
should say
نَفۡسٞ
nafsuñy
a soul
يَٰحَسۡرَتَىٰ
yaaḥasrataa
Oh! My regret
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
over
مَا
maa-
what
فَرَّطتُ
farraṭtu
I neglected
فِي
fee
in
جَنۢبِ
jambil
regard (to)
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
وَإِن
wa-ʹiñ
and that
كُنتُ
kuñtu
I was
لَمِنَ
laminas
surely among
ٱلسَّٰخِرِينَ
saakhireen!
the mockers
٥٦

39:57
أَوۡ
ʹAw
Or
تَقُولَ
taq̣oola
it should say
لَوۡ
law
If that
أَنَّ
ʹannal
If that
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
هَدَىٰنِي
hadaanee
(had) guided me
لَكُنتُ
lakuñtu
surely I (would) have been
مِنَ
minal
among
ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ
Muttaq̣een!
the righteous
٥٧
39:58
أَوۡ
ʹAw
Or
تَقُولَ
taq̣oola
it should say
حِينَ
ḥeena
when
تَرَى
taral
it sees
ٱلۡعَذَابَ
ʻaẓaaba
the punishment
لَوۡ
law
If
أَنَّ
ʹanna
only
لِي
lee
for me
كَرَّةٗ
karratañ
another chance
فَأَكُونَ
faʹakoona
then I could be
مِنَ
minal
among
ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
Muḥsineen!
the good-doers
٥٨
39:59
بَلَىٰ
Balaa
Yes
قَدۡ
q̣ad
verily
جَآءَتۡكَ
jaaaʹatka
came to you
ءَايَٰتِي
ʹAayaatee
My Verses
فَكَذَّبۡتَ
fakaẓẓabta
but you denied
بِهَا
bihaa
them
وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرۡتَ
wastakbarta
and were arrogant
وَكُنتَ
wa-kuñta
and you were
مِنَ
minal
among
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
kaafireen.
the disbelievers
٥٩
39:60
وَيَوۡمَ
Wa-Yawmal
And (on the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
Q̣iyaamati
(of) the Resurrection
تَرَى
taral
you will see
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَذَبُواْ
kaẓaboo
lied
عَلَى
ʻalal
about
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
وُجُوهُهُم
wujoohuhum
their faces
مُّسۡوَدَّةٌۚ
muswaddah:
(will be) blackened
أَلَيۡسَ
ʹalaysa
Is (there) not
فِي
fee
in
جَهَنَّمَ
Jahannama
Hell
مَثۡوٗى
mas̤wal
an abode
لِّلۡمُتَكَبِّرِينَ
lilmutakabbireen?
for the arrogant
٦٠
39:61
وَيُنَجِّي
Wa-yunajjil
And Allah will deliver
ٱللَّهُ
laahul
And Allah will deliver
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeenat
those who
ٱتَّقَوۡاْ
taq̣aw
feared (Him)
بِمَفَازَتِهِمۡ
Bimafaazatihim
to their place of salvation
لَا
laa-
not
يَمَسُّهُمُ
yamassuhumus
will touch them
ٱلسُّوٓءُ
soooʹu
the evil
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
هُمۡ
hum
they
يَحۡزَنُونَ
yaḥzanoon.
will grieve
٦١
39:62
ٱللَّهُ
ʹAllaahu
Allah
خَٰلِقُ
khaaliq̣u
(is the) Creator
كُلِّ
kulli
(of) all
شَيۡءٖۖ
shayʹ:
things
وَهُوَ
wa-Huwa
and He
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
(is) over
كُلِّ
kulli
all
شَيۡءٖ
shayʹiñw
things
وَكِيلٞ
Wakeel.
a Guardian
٦٢
39:63
لَّهُۥ
Lahoo
For Him
مَقَالِيدُ
maq̣aaleedus
(are the) keys
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ
wal-ʹarḍ:
and the earth
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wallaẓeena
And those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieve
بِـَٔايَٰتِ
biʹAayaatil
in (the) Verses
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹulaaaʹika
those
هُمُ
humul
they
ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ
khaasiroon.
(are) the losers
٦٣
39:64
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
أَفَغَيۡرَ
ʹafag̣ayral
Is (it) other than
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
تَأۡمُرُوٓنِّيٓ
taʹmurooonneee
you order me
أَعۡبُدُ
ʹaʻbudu
(to) worship
أَيُّهَا
ʹayyuhal
O
ٱلۡجَٰهِلُونَ
jaahiloon?
ignorant ones
٦٤
39:65
وَلَقَدۡ
Wa-laq̣ad
And verily
أُوحِيَ
ʹooḥiya
it has been revealed
إِلَيۡكَ
ʹilayka
to you
وَإِلَى
wa-ʹilal
and to
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
مِن
miñ
(were) before you
قَبۡلِكَ
q̣ablik:
(were) before you
لَئِنۡ
laʹin
if
أَشۡرَكۡتَ
ʹashrakta
you associate (with Allah)
لَيَحۡبَطَنَّ
layaḥbaṭanna
surely will become worthless
عَمَلُكَ
ʻamaluka
your deeds
وَلَتَكُونَنَّ
wa-latakoonanna
and you will surely be
مِنَ
minal
among
ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ
khaasireen.
the losers
٦٥
39:66
بَلِ
Balil
Nay
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
But worship Allah
فَٱعۡبُدۡ
faʻbud
But worship Allah
وَكُن
wa-kum
and be
مِّنَ
minash
among
ٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ
shaakireen.
the thankful ones
٦٦
39:67
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
قَدَرُواْ
q̣adarul
they appraised
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
حَقَّ
ḥaq̣q̣a
(with) true
قَدۡرِهِۦ
q̣adrihee
appraisal
وَٱلۡأَرۡضُ
wal-ʹarḍu
while the earth
جَمِيعٗا
jameeʻañ
entirely
قَبۡضَتُهُۥ
q̣abḍatuhoo
(will be) in His Grip
يَوۡمَ
Yawmal
(on the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
Q̣iyaamati
(of) the Resurrection
وَٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ
wassamaawaatu
and the heavens
مَطۡوِيَّٰتُۢ
maṭwiyyaatum
(will be) folded
بِيَمِينِهِۦۚ
biyameenih:
in His Right Hand
سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥ
Subḥaanahoo
Glory be to Him
وَتَعَٰلَىٰ
wa-Taʻaalaa
And High is He
عَمَّا
ʻammaa
above what
يُشۡرِكُونَ
yushrikoon!
they associate (with Him)
٦٧

39:68
وَنُفِخَ
Wa-nufikha
And (will) be blown
فِي
fiṣ
[in]
ٱلصُّورِ
Ṣoori
the trumpet
فَصَعِقَ
faṣaʻiq̣a
then (will) fall dead
مَن
mañ
whoever
فِي
fis
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
the heavens
وَمَن
wa-mañ
and whoever
فِي
fil
(is) on
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
مَن
mañ
whom
شَآءَ
shaaaʹal
Allah wills
ٱللَّهُۖ
laah.
Allah wills
ثُمَّ
S̤umma
Then
نُفِخَ
nufikha
(it will) be blown
فِيهِ
feehi
[in it]
أُخۡرَىٰ
ʹukhraa
a second time
فَإِذَا
faʹiẓaa
and behold
هُمۡ
hum
They
قِيَامٞ
q̣iyaamuñy
(will be) standing
يَنظُرُونَ
yañz̤̣uroon!
waiting
٦٨
39:69
وَأَشۡرَقَتِ
Wa-ʹashraq̣atil
And (will) shine
ٱلۡأَرۡضُ
ʹarḍu
the earth
بِنُورِ
binoori
with (the) light
رَبِّهَا
Rabbihaa
(of) its Lord
وَوُضِعَ
wa-wuḍiʻal
and (will) be placed
ٱلۡكِتَٰبُ
Kitaabu
the Record
وَجِاْيٓءَ
wa-jeeeʹa
and (will) be brought
بِٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ
bin-nabiyyeena
the Prophets
وَٱلشُّهَدَآءِ
washshuhadaaaʹi
and the witnesses
وَقُضِيَ
wa-q̣uḍiya
and it (will) be judged
بَيۡنَهُم
baynahum̃
between them
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
bilḥaq̣q̣i
in truth
وَهُمۡ
wa-hum
and they
لَا
laa-
will not be wronged
يُظۡلَمُونَ
yuz̤̣lamoon.
will not be wronged
٦٩
39:70
وَوُفِّيَتۡ
Wa-wuffiyat
And (will) be paid in full
كُلُّ
kullu
every
نَفۡسٖ
nafsim
soul
مَّا
maa
what
عَمِلَتۡ
ʻamilat
it did
وَهُوَ
wa-Huwa
and He
أَعۡلَمُ
ʹaʻlamu
(is the) Best-Knower
بِمَا
bimaa
of what
يَفۡعَلُونَ
yafʻaloon.
they do
٧٠
39:71
وَسِيقَ
Wa-seeq̣al
And (will) be driven
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُوٓاْ
kafarooo
disbelieve
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
جَهَنَّمَ
Jahannama
Hell
زُمَرًاۖ
zumaraa:
(in) groups
حَتَّىٰٓ
Ḥattaaa
until
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
when
جَآءُوهَا
jaaaʹoohaa
they reach it
فُتِحَتۡ
futiḥat
(will) be opened
أَبۡوَٰبُهَا
ʹabwaabuhaa
its gates
وَقَالَ
wa-q̣aala
and (will) say
لَهُمۡ
lahum
to them
خَزَنَتُهَآ
khazanatuhaaa
its keepers
أَلَمۡ
ʹalam
Did not
يَأۡتِكُمۡ
yaʹtikum
come to you
رُسُلٞ
rusulum
Messengers
مِّنكُمۡ
miñkum
from you
يَتۡلُونَ
yatloona
reciting
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
ʻalaykum
to you
ءَايَٰتِ
ʹAayaati
(the) Verses
رَبِّكُمۡ
Rabbikum
(of) your Lord
وَيُنذِرُونَكُمۡ
wa-yuñẓiroonakum
and warning you
لِقَآءَ
Liq̣aaaʹa
(of the) meeting
يَوۡمِكُمۡ
Yawmikum
(of) your Day
هَٰذَاۚ
haaẓaa?
this
قَالُواْ
Q̣aaloo
They (will) say
بَلَىٰ
balaa
Yes
وَلَٰكِنۡ
wa-laakin
But
حَقَّتۡ
ḥaq̣q̣at
has been justified
كَلِمَةُ
Kalimatul
(the) word
ٱلۡعَذَابِ
ʻAẓaabi
(of) punishment
عَلَى
ʻalal
against
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
kaafireen!
the disbelievers
٧١
39:72
قِيلَ
Q̣eelad
It will be said
ٱدۡخُلُوٓاْ
khulooo
Enter
أَبۡوَٰبَ
ʹabwaaba
(the) gates
جَهَنَّمَ
Jahannama
(of) Hell
خَٰلِدِينَ
khaalideena
(to) abide eternally
فِيهَاۖ
feehaa:
therein
فَبِئۡسَ
fabiʹsa
and wretched is
مَثۡوَى
mas̤wal
(the) abode
ٱلۡمُتَكَبِّرِينَ
mutakabbireen!
(of) the arrogant
٧٢
39:73
وَسِيقَ
Wa-seeq̣al
And (will) be driven
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeenat
those who
ٱتَّقَوۡاْ
taq̣aw
feared
رَبَّهُمۡ
Rabbahum
their Lord
إِلَى
ʹilal
to
ٱلۡجَنَّةِ
Jannati
Paradise
زُمَرًاۖ
zumaraa:
(in) groups
حَتَّىٰٓ
ḥattaaa
until
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
when
جَآءُوهَا
jaaaʹooha
they reach it
وَفُتِحَتۡ
wa-futiḥat
and (will) be opened
أَبۡوَٰبُهَا
ʹabwaabuhaa
its gates
وَقَالَ
wa-q̣aala
and (will) say
لَهُمۡ
lahum
to them
خَزَنَتُهَا
khazanatuhaa
its keepers
سَلَٰمٌ
ʻʻSalaamun
Peace be
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
ʻalaykum
upon you
طِبۡتُمۡ
ṭibtum
you have done well
فَٱدۡخُلُوهَا
fadkhuloohaa
so enter it
خَٰلِدِينَ
khaalideen.ʹʹ
(to) abide eternally
٧٣
39:74
وَقَالُواْ
Wa-q̣aalul
And they will say
ٱلۡحَمۡدُ
Ḥamdulillaahil
All praise
لِلَّهِ
laẓee
(be) to Allah
ٱلَّذِي
ṣadaq̣anaa
Who
صَدَقَنَا
Waʻdahoo
has fulfilled for us
وَعۡدَهُۥ
wa-ʹawras̤anal
His promise
وَأَوۡرَثَنَا
ʹarḍa
and has made us inherit
ٱلۡأَرۡضَ
natabaw
the earth
نَتَبَوَّأُ
waʹu
we may settle
مِنَ
minal
[from]
ٱلۡجَنَّةِ
Jannati
(in) Paradise
حَيۡثُ
ḥays̤u
wherever
نَشَآءُۖ
Nashaaaʹ:
we wish
فَنِعۡمَ
Faniʻma
So excellent
أَجۡرُ
ʹajrul
(is the) reward
ٱلۡعَٰمِلِينَ
ʻaamileen!
(of) the workers
٧٤

39:75
وَتَرَى
Wa-taral
And you will see
ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ
malaaaʹikata
the Angels
حَآفِّينَ
ḥaaaffeena
surrounding
مِنۡ
Min
[from]
حَوۡلِ
ḥawlil
around
ٱلۡعَرۡشِ
ʻArshi
the Throne
يُسَبِّحُونَ
yusabbiḥoona
glorifying
بِحَمۡدِ
bi-Ḥamdi
(the) praise
رَبِّهِمۡۚ
Rabbihim.
(of) their Lord
وَقُضِيَ
Wa-q̣uḍiya
And (will) be judged
بَيۡنَهُم
baynahum̃
between them
بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ
bilḥaq̣q̣i
in truth
وَقِيلَ
wa-q̣eelal
and it will be said
ٱلۡحَمۡدُ
Ḥamdu
All praise be
لِلَّهِ
lillaahi
to Allah
رَبِّ
Rabbil
(the) Lord
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
ʻAalameen!
(of) the worlds
