38:51مُتَّكِـِٔينَMuttakiʹeenaRecliningفِيهَاfeehaathereinيَدۡعُونَyadʻoonathey will callفِيهَاfeehaathereinبِفَٰكِهَةٖbifaakihatiñfor fruitكَثِيرَةٖkas̤eeratiñwmanyوَشَرَابٖwasharaab;and drink٥١
38:52۞وَعِندَهُمۡWa-ʻiñdahumAnd with themقَٰصِرَٰتُq̣aaṣiratuṭ(will be) companions of modest gazeٱلطَّرۡفِṭarfi(will be) companions of modest gazeأَتۡرَابٌʹatraab.well-matched٥٢
38:53هَٰذَاHaaẓaaThisمَاmaa-(is) whatتُوعَدُونَtooʻadoonayou are promisedلِيَوۡمِli-Yawmilfor (the) DayٱلۡحِسَابِḤisaab!(of) Account٥٣
38:54إِنَّʹInnaIndeedهَٰذَاhaaẓaathisلَرِزۡقُنَاla-Rizq̣unaa(is) surely Our provisionمَاmaa-notلَهُۥlahoofor itمِنminanyنَّفَادٍnafaad.depletion٥٤
38:55هَٰذَاۚHaaẓaa!This (is so)وَإِنَّWa-ʹinnaAnd indeedلِلطَّٰغِينَliṭṭaag̣eenafor the transgressorsلَشَرَّlasharrasurely (is) an evilمَـَٔابٖmaʹaab!―place of return٥٥
38:56جَهَنَّمَJahannamaHellيَصۡلَوۡنَهَاYaṣlawnahaathey will burn thereinفَبِئۡسَfabiʹsaland wretched (is)ٱلۡمِهَادُmihaad!the resting place٥٦
38:57هَٰذَاHaaẓaaThis (is so)فَلۡيَذُوقُوهُfalyaẓooq̣oohuThen let them taste itحَمِيمٞḥameemuñwboiling fluidوَغَسَّاقٞwag̣assaaq̣!and purulence٥٧
38:58وَءَاخَرُWa-ʹaakharuAnd otherمِنmiñofشَكۡلِهِۦٓshakliheeeits typeأَزۡوَٰجٌʹazwaaj!(of various) kinds٥٨
38:59هَٰذَاHaaẓaaThisفَوۡجٞfawjum(is) a companyمُّقۡتَحِمٞmuq̣taḥimumburstingمَّعَكُمۡmaʻakum!(in) with youلَاLaa-Noمَرۡحَبَۢاmarḥabamwelcomeبِهِمۡۚbihim!for themإِنَّهُمۡʹInnahumIndeed theyصَالُواْṣaalun(will) burnٱلنَّارِNaar!(in) the Fire٥٩
38:60قَالُواْQ̣aalooThey sayبَلۡbalNayأَنتُمۡʹañtum!You لَاLaa-noمَرۡحَبَۢاmarḥabamwelcomeبِكُمۡۖbikum!for youأَنتُمۡʹAñtumYouقَدَّمۡتُمُوهُq̣addamtumoohubrought thisلَنَاۖlanaa!upon usفَبِئۡسَFabiʹsalSo wretched (is)ٱلۡقَرَارُq̣araar!the settlement٦٠
38:61قَالُواْQ̣aalooThey will sayرَبَّنَاRabbanaaOur Lordمَنmañwhoeverقَدَّمَq̣addamabroughtلَنَاlanaaupon usهَٰذَاhaaẓaathisفَزِدۡهُfazidhuincrease for himعَذَابٗاʻAẓaabaña punishmentضِعۡفٗاḍiʻfañdoubleفِيfininٱلنَّارِNaar!the Fire٦١
38:62وَقَالُواْWaq̣aalooAnd they (will) sayمَاmaa-What (is)لَنَاlanaafor usلَاlaa-notنَرَىٰnaraawe seeرِجَالٗاrijaalañmenكُنَّاkunnaawe used toنَعُدُّهُمnaʻudduhumcount themمِّنَminalamongٱلۡأَشۡرَارِʹashraar?the bad ones٦٢
38:63أَتَّخَذۡنَٰهُمۡʹAttakhaẓnaahumDid we take themسِخۡرِيًّاsikhriyyan(in) ridiculeأَمۡʹamorزَاغَتۡzaag̣athas turned awayعَنۡهُمُʻanhumulfrom themٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرُʹabṣaar?the vision٦٣
38:64إِنَّʹInnaIndeedذَٰلِكَẓaalikathatلَحَقّٞlaḥaq̣q̣uñ(is) surely (the) truth تَخَاصُمُtakhaaṣumu(the) quarrelingأَهۡلِʹAhlin(of the) peopleٱلنَّارِNaar!(of) the Fire٦٤
38:65قُلۡQ̣ulSayإِنَّمَآʹInnamaaaOnlyأَنَا۠ʹanaI amمُنذِرٞۖMuñẓir:a warnerوَمَاwa-maaand notمِنۡmin(is there) anyإِلَٰهٍʹilaahingodإِلَّاʹillalexceptٱللَّهُlaahulAllahٱلۡوَٰحِدُWaaḥidulthe OneٱلۡقَهَّارُQ̣ahhaar,―the Irresistible٦٥
38:66رَبُّRabbusLordٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِsamaawaati(of) the heavensوَٱلۡأَرۡضِwal-ʹarḍiand the earthوَمَاwa-maaand whateverبَيۡنَهُمَاbaynahumal(is) between themٱلۡعَزِيزُʻAzeezulthe All-MightyٱلۡغَفَّٰرُG̣affaar.the Oft-Forgiving٦٦
38:69مَاMaa-Notكَانَkaanaisلِيَliyafor meمِنۡminanyعِلۡمِۭʻilmimknowledgeبِٱلۡمَلَإِbil-malaʹil(of) the chiefsٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰٓʹaʻlaaathe exaltedإِذۡʹiẓwhenيَخۡتَصِمُونَyakhtaṣimoon.they were disputing٦٩
38:70إِنʹIñyNotيُوحَىٰٓyooḥaaahas been revealedإِلَيَّʹilayyato meإِلَّآʹillaaaexceptأَنَّمَآʹannamaaathat onlyأَنَا۠ʹanaI amنَذِيرٞNaẓeeruma warnerمُّبِينٌmubeen.clear٧٠
38:71إِذۡʹIẓWhenقَالَq̣aalasaidرَبُّكَRabbukayour Lordلِلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِlilmalaaaʹikatito the AngelsإِنِّيʹinneeIndeed I Amخَٰلِقُۢkhaaliq̣umgoing to createبَشَرٗاbasharama human beingمِّنmiñfromطِينٖṭeen.clay٧١
38:72فَإِذَاFaʹiẓaaSo whenسَوَّيۡتُهُۥsawwaytuhooI have proportioned himوَنَفَخۡتُwa-nafakhtuand breathedفِيهِfeehiinto himمِنmirofرُّوحِيRooḥeeMy spiritفَقَعُواْfaq̣aʻoothen fall downلَهُۥlahooto himسَٰجِدِينَsaajideen.prostrating٧٢
38:73فَسَجَدَFasajadalSo prostratedٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُmalaaaʹikatuthe Angelsكُلُّهُمۡkulluhumall of themأَجۡمَعُونَʹajmaʻoon:together٧٣
38:74إِلَّآʹIllaaaExceptإِبۡلِيسَʹIblees;Iblisٱسۡتَكۡبَرَʹistakbarahe was arrogantوَكَانَwa-kaanaand becameمِنَminalofٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَkaafireen.the disbelievers٧٤
38:75قَالَQ̣aalaHe saidيَٰٓإِبۡلِيسُYaaaʹIbleesuO Iblisمَاmaa-Whatمَنَعَكَmanaʻakaprevented youأَنʹañthatتَسۡجُدَtasjudayou (should) prostrateلِمَاlimaato (one) whomخَلَقۡتُkhalaq̣tuI createdبِيَدَيَّۖbiyadayy?with My HandsأَسۡتَكۡبَرۡتَʹAs-takbartaAre you arrogantأَمۡʹamorكُنتَkuñtaare youمِنَminofٱلۡعَالِينَalʻaaleen?the exalted ones٧٥
