37:76وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُWa-najjaynaahuAnd We saved himوَأَهۡلَهُۥwa-ʹahlahooand his familyمِنَminalfromٱلۡكَرۡبِKarbilthe distressٱلۡعَظِيمِʻAz̤̣eem,the great٧٦
37:77وَجَعَلۡنَاWa-jaʻalnaaAnd We madeذُرِّيَّتَهُۥẓurriyyatahoohis offspringهُمُhumul[they]ٱلۡبَاقِينَbaaq̣een.the survivors٧٧
37:78وَتَرَكۡنَاWa-taraknaaAnd We leftعَلَيۡهِʻalayhifor himفِيfilamongٱلۡأٓخِرِينَʹaakhireen:the later generations٧٨
37:79سَلَٰمٌSalaamunPeace beعَلَىٰʻalaauponنُوحٖNooḥiñNuhفِيfilamongٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَʻaalameen!the worlds٧٩
37:80إِنَّاʹInnaaIndeed Weكَذَٰلِكَkaẓaalikathusنَجۡزِيnajzil[We] rewardٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَMuḥsineen.the good-doers٨٠
37:81إِنَّهُۥʹInnahooIndeed heمِنۡmin(was) ofعِبَادِنَاʻibaadinalOur slavesٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَMuʹmineen.believing٨١
37:83۞وَإِنَّWa-ʹinnaAnd indeedمِنmiñamongشِيعَتِهِۦSheeʻatiheehis kindلَإِبۡرَٰهِيمَlaʹIbraaheem.(was) surely Ibrahim٨٣
37:84إِذۡʹIẓWhenجَآءَjaaaʹahe cameرَبَّهُۥRabbahoo(to) his Lordبِقَلۡبٖbiq̣albiñwith a heartسَلِيمٍsaleem.sound٨٤
37:85إِذۡʹIẓWhenقَالَq̣aalahe saidلِأَبِيهِliʹabeehito his fatherوَقَوۡمِهِۦwa-q̣awmiheeand his peopleمَاذَاmaaẓaaWhat is itتَعۡبُدُونَtaʻbudoon?you worship٨٥
37:86أَئِفۡكًاʹAʹifkanIs it falsehood ءَالِهَةٗʹaalihatañgodsدُونَdoonalother thanٱللَّهِlaahiAllah تُرِيدُونَtureedoon?(that) you desire٨٦
37:87فَمَاFamaaThen whatظَنُّكُمz̤̣annukum̃(do) you thinkبِرَبِّbi-Rabbilabout (the) LordٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَʻAalameen?(of) the worlds٨٧
37:88فَنَظَرَFanaz̤̣araThen he glancedنَظۡرَةٗnaz̤̣rataña glanceفِيfinatٱلنُّجُومِNujoom,the stars٨٨
37:91فَرَاغَFaraag̣aThen he turnedإِلَىٰٓʹilaaatoءَالِهَتِهِمۡʹaalihatihimtheir godsفَقَالَfaq̣aalaand saidأَلَاʹalaaDo notتَأۡكُلُونَtaʹkuloon?...you eat٩١
37:93فَرَاغَFaraag̣aThen he turnedعَلَيۡهِمۡʻalayhimupon themضَرۡبَۢاḍarbamstrikingبِٱلۡيَمِينِbilyameen.with the right hand٩٣
37:94فَأَقۡبَلُوٓاْFaʹaq̣baloooThen they advancedإِلَيۡهِʹilayhitowards himيَزِفُّونَyaziffoon.hastening٩٤
37:95قَالَQ̣aalaHe saidأَتَعۡبُدُونَʹataʻbudoonaDo you worshipمَاmaa-whatتَنۡحِتُونَtanḥitoon?you carve٩٥
37:96وَٱللَّهُWallaahuWhile Allahخَلَقَكُمۡkhalaq̣akumcreated youوَمَاwa-maaand whatتَعۡمَلُونَtaʻmaloon!you make٩٦
37:97قَالُواْQ̣aalubThey saidٱبۡنُواْnooBuildلَهُۥlahoofor himبُنۡيَٰنٗاbun-yaanaña structureفَأَلۡقُوهُfaʹalq̣oohuand throw himفِيfilintoٱلۡجَحِيمِJaḥeem!the blazing Fire٩٧
37:98فَأَرَادُواْFaʹaraadooAnd they intendedبِهِۦbiheefor himكَيۡدٗاkaydaña plotفَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمُfajaʻalnaahumulbut We made themٱلۡأَسۡفَلِينَʹasfaleen!the lowest٩٨
37:99وَقَالَWa-q̣aalaAnd he saidإِنِّيʹinneeIndeed I amذَاهِبٌẓaahibungoingإِلَىٰʹilaatoرَبِّيRabbeemy Lordسَيَهۡدِينِsayahdeen!He will guide me٩٩
