37:51قَالَqalaWill sayقَآئِلٞqailuna speakerمِّنۡهُمۡmin'humamong themإِنِّيinniIndeed Iكَانَkanahadلِيlifor meقَرِينٞqarinuna companion٥١
37:52يَقُولُyaquluWho (would) sayأَءِنَّكَa-innakaAre you indeedلَمِنَlaminasurely ofٱلۡمُصَدِّقِينَal-musadiqinathose who believe٥٢
37:53أَءِذَاa-idhaIs (it) whenمِتۡنَاmit'nawe have diedوَكُنَّاwakunnaand becomeتُرَابٗاturabandustوَعِظَٰمًاwa'izamanand bonesأَءِنَّاa-innawill weلَمَدِينُونَlamadinunasurely be brought to Judgment٥٣
37:55فَٱطَّلَعَfa-ittala'aThen he (will) lookفَرَءَاهُfaraahuand see himفِيfiinسَوَآءِsawai(the) midstٱلۡجَحِيمِal-jahimi(of) the Hellfire٥٥
37:56قَالَqalaHe (will) sayتَٱللَّهِtal-lahiBy Allahإِنinverilyكِدتَّkidttayou almostلَتُرۡدِينِlatur'diniruined me٥٦
37:57وَلَوۡلَاwalawlaAnd if notنِعۡمَةُni'matu(for the) Graceرَبِّيrabbi(of) my Lordلَكُنتُlakuntucertainly I (would) have beenمِنَminaamongٱلۡمُحۡضَرِينَal-muh'darinathose brought٥٧
37:59إِلَّاillaExceptمَوۡتَتَنَاmawtatanaour deathٱلۡأُولَىٰal-ulathe firstوَمَاwamaand notنَحۡنُnahnuweبِمُعَذَّبِينَbimu'adhabinawill be punished٥٩
37:60إِنَّinnaIndeedهَٰذَاhadhathisلَهُوَlahuwasurelyٱلۡفَوۡزُal-fawzu(is) the attainmentٱلۡعَظِيمُal-'azimugreat٦٠
37:61لِمِثۡلِlimith'liFor (the) likeهَٰذَاhadha(of) thisفَلۡيَعۡمَلِfalya'malilet workٱلۡعَٰمِلُونَal-'amilunathe workers٦١
37:62أَذَٰلِكَadhalikaIs thatخَيۡرٞkhayrunbetterنُّزُلًاnuzulan(as) hospitalityأَمۡamorشَجَرَةُshajaratu(the) treeٱلزَّقُّومِal-zaqumi(of) Zaqqum٦٢
37:63إِنَّاinnaIndeed Weجَعَلۡنَٰهَاja'alnaha[We] have made itفِتۡنَةٗfit'natana trialلِّلظَّٰلِمِينَlilzzaliminafor the wrongdoers٦٣
37:64إِنَّهَاinnahaIndeed itشَجَرَةٞshajaratun(is) a treeتَخۡرُجُtakhrujuthat growsفِيٓfiinأَصۡلِasli(the) bottomٱلۡجَحِيمِal-jahimi(of) the Hellfire٦٤
37:65طَلۡعُهَاtal'uhaIts emerging fruitكَأَنَّهُۥka-annahu(is) as if itرُءُوسُruusu(was) headsٱلشَّيَٰطِينِal-shayatini(of) the devils٦٥
37:66فَإِنَّهُمۡfa-innahumAnd indeed theyلَأٓكِلُونَlaakiluna(will) surely eatمِنۡهَاmin'hafrom itفَمَالِـُٔونَfamaliunaand fillمِنۡهَاmin'hawith itٱلۡبُطُونَal-butuna(their) bellies٦٦
37:67ثُمَّthummaThenإِنَّinnaindeedلَهُمۡlahumfor themعَلَيۡهَاalayhain itلَشَوۡبٗاlashawban(is) a mixtureمِّنۡminofحَمِيمٖhamiminboiling water٦٧
37:68ثُمَّthummaThenإِنَّinnaindeedمَرۡجِعَهُمۡmarji'ahumtheir returnلَإِلَىla-ila(will) surely be toٱلۡجَحِيمِal-jahimithe Hellfire٦٨
37:69إِنَّهُمۡinnahumIndeed theyأَلۡفَوۡاْalfawfoundءَابَآءَهُمۡabaahumtheir fathersضَآلِّينَdallinaastray٦٩
37:70فَهُمۡfahumSo theyعَلَىٰٓalaonءَاثَٰرِهِمۡatharihimtheir footstepsيُهۡرَعُونَyuh'ra'unathey hastened٧٠
37:71وَلَقَدۡwalaqadAnd verilyضَلَّdallawent astrayقَبۡلَهُمۡqablahumbefore themأَكۡثَرُaktharumostٱلۡأَوَّلِينَal-awalina(of) the former (people)٧١
37:72وَلَقَدۡwalaqadAnd verilyأَرۡسَلۡنَاarsalnaWe sentفِيهِمfihimamong themمُّنذِرِينَmundhirinawarners٧٢
37:73فَٱنظُرۡfa-unzurThen seeكَيۡفَkayfahowكَانَkanawasعَٰقِبَةُaqibatu(the) endٱلۡمُنذَرِينَal-mundharina(of) those who were warned٧٣
37:74إِلَّاillaExceptعِبَادَibada(the) slavesٱللَّهِal-lahi(of) Allahٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَal-mukh'lasinathe chosen ones٧٤
37:75وَلَقَدۡwalaqadAnd verilyنَادَىٰنَاnadanacalled UsنُوحٞnuhunNuhفَلَنِعۡمَfalani'maand Bestٱلۡمُجِيبُونَal-mujibuna(are We as) Responders٧٥
37:76وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُwanajjaynahuAnd We saved himوَأَهۡلَهُۥwa-ahlahuand his familyمِنَminafromٱلۡكَرۡبِal-karbithe distressٱلۡعَظِيمِal-'azimithe great٧٦
37:77وَجَعَلۡنَاwaja'alnaAnd We madeذُرِّيَّتَهُۥdhurriyyatahuhis offspringهُمُhumu[they]ٱلۡبَاقِينَal-baqinathe survivors٧٧
37:78وَتَرَكۡنَاwataraknaAnd We leftعَلَيۡهِalayhifor himفِيfiamongٱلۡأٓخِرِينَal-akhirinathe later generations٧٨
37:80إِنَّاinnaIndeed Weكَذَٰلِكَkadhalikathusنَجۡزِيnajzi[We] rewardٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَal-muh'sininathe good-doers٨٠
37:81إِنَّهُۥinnahuIndeed heمِنۡmin(was) ofعِبَادِنَاibadinaOur slavesٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَal-mu'mininabelieving٨١
37:83۞وَإِنَّwa-innaAnd indeedمِنminamongشِيعَتِهِۦshi'atihihis kindلَإِبۡرَٰهِيمَla-ib'rahima(was) surely Ibrahim٨٣
37:84إِذۡidhWhenجَآءَjaahe cameرَبَّهُۥrabbahu(to) his Lordبِقَلۡبٖbiqalbinwith a heartسَلِيمٍsaliminsound٨٤
37:85إِذۡidhWhenقَالَqalahe saidلِأَبِيهِli-abihito his fatherوَقَوۡمِهِۦwaqawmihiand his peopleمَاذَاmadhaWhat is itتَعۡبُدُونَta'budunayou worship٨٥
37:86أَئِفۡكًاa-if'kanIs it falsehood ءَالِهَةٗalihatangodsدُونَdunaother thanٱللَّهِal-lahiAllah تُرِيدُونَturiduna(that) you desire٨٦
37:87فَمَاfamaThen whatظَنُّكُمzannukum(do) you thinkبِرَبِّbirabbiabout (the) Lordٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَal-'alamina(of) the worlds٨٧
37:91فَرَاغَfaraghaThen he turnedإِلَىٰٓilatoءَالِهَتِهِمۡalihatihimtheir godsفَقَالَfaqalaand saidأَلَاalaDo notتَأۡكُلُونَtakulunayou eat٩١
37:93فَرَاغَfaraghaThen he turnedعَلَيۡهِمۡalayhimupon themضَرۡبَۢاdarbanstrikingبِٱلۡيَمِينِbil-yaminiwith the right hand٩٣
37:94فَأَقۡبَلُوٓاْfa-aqbaluThen they advancedإِلَيۡهِilayhitowards himيَزِفُّونَyaziffunahastening٩٤
37:96وَٱللَّهُwal-lahuWhile Allahخَلَقَكُمۡkhalaqakumcreated youوَمَاwamaand whatتَعۡمَلُونَta'malunayou make٩٦
37:97قَالُواْqaluThey saidٱبۡنُواْib'nuBuildلَهُۥlahufor himبُنۡيَٰنٗاbun'yanana structureفَأَلۡقُوهُfa-alquhuand throw himفِيfiintoٱلۡجَحِيمِal-jahimithe blazing Fire٩٧
37:98فَأَرَادُواْfa-araduAnd they intendedبِهِۦbihifor himكَيۡدٗاkaydana plotفَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمُfaja'alnahumubut We made themٱلۡأَسۡفَلِينَal-asfalinathe lowest٩٨
37:99وَقَالَwaqalaAnd he saidإِنِّيinniIndeed I amذَاهِبٌdhahibungoingإِلَىٰilatoرَبِّيrabbimy LordسَيَهۡدِينِsayahdiniHe will guide me٩٩
