37:5رَّبُّrabbuLordٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِal-samawati(of) the heavensوَٱلۡأَرۡضِwal-ardiand the earthوَمَاwamaand whatبَيۡنَهُمَاbaynahuma(is) between both of themوَرَبُّwarabbuand Lordٱلۡمَشَٰرِقِal-mashariqi(of) each point of sunrise٥
37:6إِنَّاinnaIndeed Weزَيَّنَّاzayyanna[We] adornedٱلسَّمَآءَal-samaathe skyٱلدُّنۡيَاal-dun'ya[the world]بِزِينَةٍbizinatinwith an adornmentٱلۡكَوَاكِبِal-kawakibi(of) the stars٦
37:7وَحِفۡظٗاwahif'zanAnd (to) guardمِّنminagainstكُلِّkullieveryشَيۡطَٰنٖshaytanindevilمَّارِدٖmaridinrebellious٧
37:8لَّاlaNotيَسَّمَّعُونَyassamma'unathey may listenإِلَىilatoٱلۡمَلَإِal-mala-ithe assemblyٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰal-a'la[the] exaltedوَيُقۡذَفُونَwayuq'dhafunaare peltedمِنminfromكُلِّkullieveryجَانِبٖjanibinside٨
37:9دُحُورٗاۖduhuranRepelledوَلَهُمۡwalahumand for themعَذَابٞadhabun(is) a punishmentوَاصِبٌwasibunperpetual٩
37:10إِلَّاillaExceptمَنۡman(him) whoخَطِفَkhatifasnatchesٱلۡخَطۡفَةَal-khatfata(by) theftفَأَتۡبَعَهُۥfa-atba'ahubut follows himشِهَابٞshihabuna burning flameثَاقِبٞthaqibunpiercing١٠
37:11فَٱسۡتَفۡتِهِمۡfa-is'taftihimThen ask themأَهُمۡahumAre theyأَشَدُّashaddua strongerخَلۡقًاkhalqancreationأَمamorمَّنۡman(those) whomخَلَقۡنَآۚkhalaqnaWe have createdإِنَّاinnaIndeed Weخَلَقۡنَٰهُمkhalaqnahumcreated themمِّنminfromطِينٖtinina clayلَّازِبِۭlazibinsticky١١
37:13وَإِذَاwa-idhaAnd whenذُكِّرُواْdhukkiruthey are remindedلَاlanotيَذۡكُرُونَyadhkurunathey receive admonition١٣
37:14وَإِذَاwa-idhaAnd whenرَأَوۡاْra-awthey seeءَايَةٗayatana Signيَسۡتَسۡخِرُونَyastaskhirunathey mock١٤
37:15وَقَالُوٓاْwaqaluAnd they sayإِنۡinNotهَٰذَآhadha(is) thisإِلَّاillaexceptسِحۡرٞsih'runa magicمُّبِينٌmubinunclear١٥
37:16أَءِذَاa-idhaIs it whenمِتۡنَاmit'nawe are deadوَكُنَّاwakunnaand have becomeتُرَابٗاturabandustوَعِظَٰمًاwa'izamanand bonesأَءِنَّاa-innashall we thenلَمَبۡعُوثُونَlamab'uthunabe certainly resurrected١٦
37:19فَإِنَّمَاfa-innamaThen onlyهِيَhiyaitزَجۡرَةٞzajratun(will be) a cryوَٰحِدَةٞwahidatunsingleفَإِذَاfa-idhathen beholdهُمۡhumTheyيَنظُرُونَyanzurunawill see١٩
37:20وَقَالُواْwaqaluAnd they will sayيَٰوَيۡلَنَاyawaylanaO woe to usهَٰذَاhadhaThisيَوۡمُyawmu(is the) Dayٱلدِّينِal-dini(of) the Recompense٢٠
37:21هَٰذَاhadhaThisيَوۡمُyawmu(is the) Dayٱلۡفَصۡلِal-fasli(of) Judgmentٱلَّذِيalladhiwhichكُنتُمkuntumyou used toبِهِۦbihi[of it]تُكَذِّبُونَtukadhibunadeny٢١
37:22۞ٱحۡشُرُواْuh'shuruGatherٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoظَلَمُواْzalamuwrongedوَأَزۡوَٰجَهُمۡwa-azwajahumand their kindsوَمَاwamaand whatكَانُواْkanuthey used (to)يَعۡبُدُونَya'budunaworship٢٢
37:23مِنminBesidesدُونِduniBesidesٱللَّهِal-lahiAllahفَٱهۡدُوهُمۡfa-ih'duhumthen lead themإِلَىٰilatoصِرَٰطِsirati(the) Pathٱلۡجَحِيمِal-jahimi(of) the Hellfire٢٣
37:24وَقِفُوهُمۡۖwaqifuhumAnd stop themإِنَّهُمinnahumindeed theyمَّسۡـُٔولُونَmasuluna(are) to be questioned٢٤
37:26بَلۡbalNayهُمُhumutheyٱلۡيَوۡمَal-yawma(on) that Dayمُسۡتَسۡلِمُونَmus'taslimuna(will) surrender٢٦
37:27وَأَقۡبَلَwa-aqbalaAnd will approachبَعۡضُهُمۡba'duhumsome of themعَلَىٰalatoبَعۡضٖba'dinothersيَتَسَآءَلُونَyatasaalunaquestioning one another٢٧
37:28قَالُوٓاْqaluThey will sayإِنَّكُمۡinnakumIndeed youكُنتُمۡkuntum[you] used (to)تَأۡتُونَنَاtatunanacome (to) usعَنِanifromٱلۡيَمِينِal-yaminithe right٢٨
37:29قَالُواْqaluThey will sayبَلbalNayلَّمۡlamnotتَكُونُواْtakunuyou wereمُؤۡمِنِينَmu'mininabelievers٢٩
37:30وَمَاwamaAnd notكَانَkanawasلَنَاlanafor usعَلَيۡكُمalaykumover youمِّنminanyسُلۡطَٰنِۭۖsul'taninauthorityبَلۡbalNayكُنتُمۡkuntumyou wereقَوۡمٗاqawmana peopleطَٰغِينَtaghinatransgressing٣٠
37:31فَحَقَّfahaqqaSo has been proved trueعَلَيۡنَاalaynaagainst usقَوۡلُqawlu(the) Wordرَبِّنَآۖrabbina(of) our Lordإِنَّاinnaindeed weلَذَآئِقُونَladhaiquna(will) certainly taste٣١
37:32فَأَغۡوَيۡنَٰكُمۡfa-aghwaynakumSo we led you astrayإِنَّاinnaindeed weكُنَّاkunnawereغَٰوِينَghawinaastray٣٢
37:33فَإِنَّهُمۡfa-innahumThen indeed theyيَوۡمَئِذٖyawma-idhinthat Dayفِيfiinٱلۡعَذَابِal-'adhabithe punishmentمُشۡتَرِكُونَmush'tarikuna(will be) sharers٣٣
37:34إِنَّاinnaIndeed Weكَذَٰلِكَkadhalikathusنَفۡعَلُnaf 'aluWe dealبِٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَbil-muj'riminawith the criminals٣٤
37:35إِنَّهُمۡinnahumIndeed theyكَانُوٓاْkanuwereإِذَاidhawhenقِيلَqilait was saidلَهُمۡlahumto themلَآla(There is) noإِلَٰهَilahagodإِلَّاillaexceptٱللَّهُal-lahuAllahيَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَyastakbirunawere arrogant٣٥
37:36وَيَقُولُونَwayaqulunaAnd they sayأَئِنَّاa-innaAre weلَتَارِكُوٓاْlatarikuto leaveءَالِهَتِنَاalihatinaour godsلِشَاعِرٖlisha'irinfor a poetمَّجۡنُونِۭmajnuninmad٣٦
37:37بَلۡbalNayجَآءَjaahe has broughtبِٱلۡحَقِّbil-haqithe truthوَصَدَّقَwasaddaqaand confirmedٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَal-mur'salinathe Messengers٣٧
37:38إِنَّكُمۡinnakumIndeed youلَذَآئِقُواْladhaiqu(will) surely tasteٱلۡعَذَابِal-'adhabithe punishmentٱلۡأَلِيمِal-alimipainful٣٨
37:39وَمَاwamaAnd notتُجۡزَوۡنَtuj'zawnayou will be recompensedإِلَّاillaexceptمَاmawhatكُنتُمۡkuntumyou used toتَعۡمَلُونَta'malunado٣٩
37:40إِلَّاillaExceptعِبَادَibada(the) slavesٱللَّهِal-lahi(of) Allahٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَal-mukh'lasinathe chosen ones٤٠
37:41أُوْلَٰٓئِكَulaikaThoseلَهُمۡlahumfor themرِزۡقٞriz'qun(will be) a provisionمَّعۡلُومٞma'lumundetermined٤١
37:45يُطَافُyutafuWill be circulatedعَلَيۡهِمalayhimamong themبِكَأۡسٖbikasina cupمِّنminfromمَّعِينِۭma'inina flowing spring٤٥
37:47لَاlaNotفِيهَاfihain itغَوۡلٞghawlun(is) bad effectوَلَاwalaand notهُمۡhumtheyعَنۡهَاanhafrom itيُنزَفُونَyunzafunawill be intoxicated٤٧
37:48وَعِندَهُمۡwa'indahumAnd with themقَٰصِرَٰتُqasiratu(will be) companions of modest gazeٱلطَّرۡفِal-tarfi(will be) companions of modest gazeعِينٞinun(having) beautiful eyes٤٨
37:50فَأَقۡبَلَfa-aqbalaAnd (will) approachبَعۡضُهُمۡba'duhumsome of themعَلَىٰalatoبَعۡضٖba'dinothersيَتَسَآءَلُونَyatasaalunaquestioning one another٥٠
