37:26بَلۡBalNayهُمُhumultheyٱلۡيَوۡمَyawma(on) that Dayمُسۡتَسۡلِمُونَmustaslimoon;(will) surrender٢٦
37:27وَأَقۡبَلَWa-ʹaq̣balaAnd will approachبَعۡضُهُمۡbaʻḍuhumsome of themعَلَىٰʻalaatoبَعۡضٖbaʻḍiñyothersيَتَسَآءَلُونَyatasaaaʹaloon.questioning one another٢٧
37:28قَالُوٓاْQ̣aaloooThey will sayإِنَّكُمۡʹinnakumIndeed youكُنتُمۡkuñtum[you] used (to)تَأۡتُونَنَاtaʹtoonanaacome (to) usعَنِʻanilfromٱلۡيَمِينِyameen!the right٢٨
37:29قَالُواْQ̣aalooThey will sayبَلbalNayلَّمۡlamnotتَكُونُواْtakoonooyou wereمُؤۡمِنِينَMuʹmineen!believers٢٩
37:30وَمَاWa-maaAnd notكَانَkaanawasلَنَاlanaafor usعَلَيۡكُمʻalaykumover youمِّنmiñanyسُلۡطَٰنِۭۖsulṭaan.authorityبَلۡBalNayكُنتُمۡkuñtumyou wereقَوۡمٗاq̣awmaña peopleطَٰغِينَṭaag̣een!transgressing٣٠
37:31فَحَقَّFaḥaq̣q̣aSo has been proved trueعَلَيۡنَاʻalaynaaagainst usقَوۡلُQ̣awlu(the) WordرَبِّنَآۖRabbinaaa(of) our Lordإِنَّاʹinnaaindeed weلَذَآئِقُونَlaẓaaaʹiq̣oon.(will) certainly taste٣١
37:32فَأَغۡوَيۡنَٰكُمۡFaʹag̣waynaakumSo we led you astrayإِنَّاʹinnaaindeed weكُنَّاkunnaawereغَٰوِينَg̣aaween.astray٣٢
37:33فَإِنَّهُمۡFaʹinnahumThen indeed theyيَوۡمَئِذٖYawmaʹiẓiñthat DayفِيfilinٱلۡعَذَابِʻAẓaabithe punishmentمُشۡتَرِكُونَmushtarikoon.(will be) sharers٣٣
37:34إِنَّاʹInnaaIndeed WeكَذَٰلِكَkaẓaalikathusنَفۡعَلُnafʻaluWe dealبِٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَbil-mujrimeen.with the criminals٣٤
37:35إِنَّهُمۡʹInnahumIndeed theyكَانُوٓاْkaanooowereإِذَاʹiẓaawhenقِيلَq̣eelait was saidلَهُمۡlahumto themلَآ˹Laaa(There is) noإِلَٰهَʹilaahagodإِلَّاʹillalexceptٱللَّهُlaahu˺Allahيَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَyastakbiroon,were arrogant٣٥
37:36وَيَقُولُونَWa-yaq̣ooloonaAnd they sayأَئِنَّاʹaʹinnaaAre weلَتَارِكُوٓاْlataarikoooto leaveءَالِهَتِنَاʹaalihatinaaour godsلِشَاعِرٖlishaaʻirimfor a poetمَّجۡنُونِۭmajnoon?mad٣٦
37:37بَلۡBalNayجَآءَjaaaʹahe has broughtبِٱلۡحَقِّbil-Ḥaq̣q̣ithe truthوَصَدَّقَwa-ṣaddaq̣aland confirmedٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَmursaleen.the Messengers٣٧
37:38إِنَّكُمۡʹInnakumIndeed youلَذَآئِقُواْlaẓaaaʹiq̣ul(will) surely tasteٱلۡعَذَابِʻAẓaabilthe punishmentٱلۡأَلِيمِʹAleem;painful٣٨
37:39وَمَاWa-maaAnd notتُجۡزَوۡنَtujzawnayou will be recompensedإِلَّاʹillaaexceptمَاmaa-whatكُنتُمۡkuñtumyou used toتَعۡمَلُونَtaʻmaloon;do٣٩
37:40إِلَّاʹIllaaExceptعِبَادَʻibaadal(the) slavesٱللَّهِlaahil(of) Allahٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَmukhlaṣeen.the chosen ones٤٠
37:41أُوْلَٰٓئِكَʹUlaaaʹikaThoseلَهُمۡlahumfor themرِزۡقٞRizq̣um(will be) a provisionمَّعۡلُومٞmaʻloom,determined٤١
37:45يُطَافُYuṭaafuWill be circulatedعَلَيۡهِمʻalayhim̃among themبِكَأۡسٖbikaʹsima cupمِّنmimfromمَّعِينِۭmaʻeen,a flowing spring٤٥
37:46بَيۡضَآءَBayḍaaaʹaWhiteلَذَّةٖlaẓẓatillishdeliciousلِّلشَّٰرِبِينَshaaribeen,for the drinkers٤٦
37:47لَاLaa-Notفِيهَاfeehaain itغَوۡلٞg̣awluñw(is) bad effectوَلَاwalaaand notهُمۡhumtheyعَنۡهَاʻanhaafrom itيُنزَفُونَyuñzafoon.will be intoxicated٤٧
37:48وَعِندَهُمۡWa-ʻiñdahumAnd with themقَٰصِرَٰتُq̣aaṣiraatuṭ(will be) companions of modest gazeٱلطَّرۡفِṭarfi(will be) companions of modest gazeعِينٞʻeen,(having) beautiful eyes٤٨
37:50فَأَقۡبَلَFaʹaq̣balaAnd (will) approachبَعۡضُهُمۡbaʻḍuhumsome of themعَلَىٰʻalaatoبَعۡضٖbaʻḍiñyothersيَتَسَآءَلُونَyatasaaaʹaloon.questioning one another٥٠
