35:26ثُمَّthummaThenأَخَذۡتُakhadhtuI seizedٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoكَفَرُواْۖkafarudisbelievedفَكَيۡفَfakayfaand howكَانَkanawasنَكِيرِnakiriMy rejection٢٦
35:27أَلَمۡalamDo notتَرَtarayou seeأَنَّannathatٱللَّهَal-lahaAllahأَنزَلَanzalasends downمِنَminafromٱلسَّمَآءِal-samaithe skyمَآءٗmaanwaterفَأَخۡرَجۡنَاfa-akhrajnathen We bring forthبِهِۦbihitherewithثَمَرَٰتٖthamaratinfruitsمُّخۡتَلِفًاmukh'talifan(of) variousأَلۡوَٰنُهَاۚalwanuha[their] colorsوَمِنَwaminaAnd inٱلۡجِبَالِal-jibalithe mountainsجُدَدُۢjudadun(are) tractsبِيضٞbidunwhiteوَحُمۡرٞwahum'runand redمُّخۡتَلِفٌmukh'talifun(of) variousأَلۡوَٰنُهَاalwanuha[their] colorsوَغَرَابِيبُwagharabibuand intensely blackسُودٞsudunand intensely black٢٧
35:28وَمِنَwaminaAnd amongٱلنَّاسِal-nasimenوَٱلدَّوَآبِّwal-dawabiand moving creaturesوَٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِwal-an'amiand the cattleمُخۡتَلِفٌmukh'talifun(are) variousأَلۡوَٰنُهُۥalwanuhu[their] colorsكَذَٰلِكَۗkadhalikalikewiseإِنَّمَاinnamaOnlyيَخۡشَىyakhshafearٱللَّهَal-lahaAllahمِنۡminamongعِبَادِهِibadihiHis slavesٱلۡعُلَمَٰٓؤُاْۗal-'ulamauthose who have knowledgeإِنَّinnaIndeedٱللَّهَal-lahaAllahعَزِيزٌazizun(is) All-MightyغَفُورٌghafurunOft-Forgiving٢٨
35:29إِنَّinnaIndeedٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoيَتۡلُونَyatlunareciteكِتَٰبَkitaba(the) Bookٱللَّهِal-lahi(of) Allahوَأَقَامُواْwa-aqamuand establishٱلصَّلَوٰةَal-salatathe prayerوَأَنفَقُواْwa-anfaquand spendمِمَّاmimmaout of whatرَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡrazaqnahumWe have provided themسِرّٗاsirransecretlyوَعَلَانِيَةٗwa'alaniyatanand openlyيَرۡجُونَyarjunahopeتِجَٰرَةٗtijaratan(for) a commerce لَّنlanneverتَبُورَtaburait will perish٢٩
35:30لِيُوَفِّيَهُمۡliyuwaffiyahumThat He may give them in fullأُجُورَهُمۡujurahumtheir rewardsوَيَزِيدَهُمwayazidahumand increase for themمِّنminofفَضۡلِهِۦٓۚfadlihiHis BountyإِنَّهُۥinnahuIndeed Heغَفُورٞghafurun(is) Oft-ForgivingشَكُورٞshakurunMost Appreciative٣٠
35:31وَٱلَّذِيٓwa-alladhiAnd (that) whichأَوۡحَيۡنَآawhaynaWe have revealedإِلَيۡكَilaykato youمِنَminaofٱلۡكِتَٰبِal-kitabithe Bookهُوَhuwaitٱلۡحَقُّal-haqu(is) the truthمُصَدِّقٗاmusaddiqanconfirmingلِّمَاlimawhat (was)بَيۡنَbaynabefore itيَدَيۡهِۗyadayhibefore itإِنَّinnaIndeedٱللَّهَal-lahaAllahبِعِبَادِهِۦbi'ibadihiof His slavesلَخَبِيرُۢlakhabirunsurely (is) All-AwareبَصِيرٞbasirunAll-Seer٣١
35:32ثُمَّthummaThenأَوۡرَثۡنَاawrathnaWe caused to inheritٱلۡكِتَٰبَal-kitabathe Bookٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whomٱصۡطَفَيۡنَاis'tafaynaWe have chosenمِنۡminofعِبَادِنَاۖibadinaOur slavesفَمِنۡهُمۡfamin'humand among themظَالِمٞzalimun(is he) who wrongsلِّنَفۡسِهِۦlinafsihihimselfوَمِنۡهُمwamin'humand among themمُّقۡتَصِدٞmuq'tasidun(is he who is) moderateوَمِنۡهُمۡwamin'humand among themسَابِقُۢsabiqun(is he who is) foremostبِٱلۡخَيۡرَٰتِbil-khayratiin good deedsبِإِذۡنِbi-idh'niby permissionٱللَّهِۚal-lahi(of) AllahذَٰلِكَdhalikaThatهُوَhuwaisٱلۡفَضۡلُal-fadluthe Bountyٱلۡكَبِيرُal-kabiruthe great٣٢
35:33جَنَّٰتُjannatuGardensعَدۡنٖadnin(of) Eternityيَدۡخُلُونَهَاyadkhulunahathey will enter themيُحَلَّوۡنَyuhallawnaThey will be adornedفِيهَاfihathereinمِنۡminwithأَسَاوِرَasawirabraceletsمِنminofذَهَبٖdhahabingoldوَلُؤۡلُؤٗاۖwalu'lu-anand pearlsوَلِبَاسُهُمۡwalibasuhumand their garmentsفِيهَاfihathereinحَرِيرٞharirun(will be of) silk٣٣
35:34وَقَالُواْwaqaluAnd they (will) sayٱلۡحَمۡدُal-hamduAll praisesلِلَّهِlillahi(be) to Allahٱلَّذِيٓalladhithe One Whoأَذۡهَبَadhhaba(has) removedعَنَّاannafrom usٱلۡحَزَنَۖal-hazanathe sorrowإِنَّinnaIndeedرَبَّنَاrabbanaour Lordلَغَفُورٞlaghafurun(is) surely Oft-ForgivingشَكُورٌshakurunMost Appreciative٣٤
35:35ٱلَّذِيٓalladhiThe One Whoأَحَلَّنَاahallanahas settled usدَارَdara(in) a Homeٱلۡمُقَامَةِal-muqamati(of) Eternityمِنmin(out) ofفَضۡلِهِۦfadlihiHis BountyلَاlaNotيَمَسُّنَاyamassunatouches usفِيهَاfihathereinنَصَبٞnasabunany fatigueوَلَاwalaand notيَمَسُّنَاyamassunatouchesفِيهَاfihathereinلُغُوبٞlughubunweariness٣٥
35:36وَٱلَّذِينَwa-alladhinaAnd those whoكَفَرُواْkafarudisbelieveلَهُمۡlahumfor themنَارُnaru(will be the) Fireجَهَنَّمَjahannama(of) HellلَاlaNotيُقۡضَىٰyuq'dais decreedعَلَيۡهِمۡalayhimfor themفَيَمُوتُواْfayamututhat they dieوَلَاwalaand notيُخَفَّفُyukhaffafuwill be lightenedعَنۡهُمanhumfor themمِّنۡminofعَذَابِهَاۚadhabihaits tormentكَذَٰلِكَkadhalikaThusنَجۡزِيnajziWe recompenseكُلَّkullaeveryكَفُورٖkafurinungrateful one٣٦
35:37وَهُمۡwahumAnd theyيَصۡطَرِخُونَyastarikhunawill cryفِيهَاfihathereinرَبَّنَآrabbanaOur Lordأَخۡرِجۡنَاakhrij'naBring us outنَعۡمَلۡna'malwe will doصَٰلِحًاsalihanrighteous (deeds)غَيۡرَghayraother thanٱلَّذِيalladhi(that) whichكُنَّاkunnawe usedنَعۡمَلُۚna'malu(to) doأَوَلَمۡawalamDid notنُعَمِّرۡكُمnu'ammir'kumWe give you life long enoughمَّاmathatيَتَذَكَّرُyatadhakkaru(would) receive admonitionفِيهِfihithereinمَنmanwhoeverتَذَكَّرَtadhakkarareceives admonitionوَجَآءَكُمُwajaakumuAnd came to youٱلنَّذِيرُۖal-nadhiruthe warnerفَذُوقُواْfadhuquSo tasteفَمَاfamathen notلِلظَّٰلِمِينَlilzzalimina(is) for the wrongdoersمِنminanyنَّصِيرٍnasirinhelper٣٧
35:38إِنَّinnaIndeedٱللَّهَal-lahaAllahعَٰلِمُalimu(is the) Knowerغَيۡبِghaybi(of the) unseenٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِal-samawati(of) the heavensوَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚwal-ardiand the earthإِنَّهُۥinnahuIndeed Heعَلِيمُۢalimun(is the) All-Knowerبِذَاتِbidhatiof what (is) in the breastsٱلصُّدُورِal-suduriof what (is) in the breasts٣٨
35:39هُوَhuwaHeٱلَّذِيalladhi(is) the One Whoجَعَلَكُمۡja'alakummade youخَلَٰٓئِفَkhalaifasuccessorsفِيfiinٱلۡأَرۡضِۚal-ardithe earthفَمَنfamanAnd whoeverكَفَرَkafaradisbelievesفَعَلَيۡهِfa'alayhithen upon himكُفۡرُهُۥۖkuf'ruhu(is) his disbeliefوَلَاwalaAnd notيَزِيدُyaziduincreaseٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَal-kafirinathe disbelieversكُفۡرُهُمۡkuf'ruhumtheir disbeliefعِندَindanearرَبِّهِمۡrabbihimtheir Lordإِلَّاillaexceptمَقۡتٗاۖmaqtan(in) hatredوَلَاwalaand notيَزِيدُyaziduincreaseٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَal-kafirinathe disbelieversكُفۡرُهُمۡkuf'ruhumtheir disbeliefإِلَّاillaexceptخَسَارٗاkhasaran(in) loss٣٩
35:40قُلۡqulSayأَرَءَيۡتُمۡara-aytumHave you seenشُرَكَآءَكُمُshurakaakumuyour partnersٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whomتَدۡعُونَtad'unayou callمِنminbesidesدُونِdunibesidesٱللَّهِal-lahiAllahأَرُونِيaruniShow Meمَاذَاmadhawhatخَلَقُواْkhalaquthey have createdمِنَminafromٱلۡأَرۡضِal-ardithe earthأَمۡamorلَهُمۡlahumfor themشِرۡكٞshir'kun(is) a shareفِيfiinٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِal-samawatithe heavensأَمۡamOrءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمۡataynahumhave We given themكِتَٰبٗاkitabana Bookفَهُمۡfahumso theyعَلَىٰala(are) onبَيِّنَتٖbayyinatina clear proofمِّنۡهُۚmin'hutherefromبَلۡbalNayإِنinnotيَعِدُya'idupromiseٱلظَّٰلِمُونَal-zalimunathe wrongdoersبَعۡضُهُمba'duhumsome of themبَعۡضًاba'dan(to) othersإِلَّاillaexceptغُرُورًاghururandelusion٤٠
35:41۞إِنَّinnaIndeedٱللَّهَal-lahaAllahيُمۡسِكُyum'sikuupholdsٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِal-samawatithe heavensوَٱلۡأَرۡضَwal-ardaand the earthأَنanlestتَزُولَاۚtazulathey ceaseوَلَئِنwala-inAnd ifزَالَتَآzalatathey should ceaseإِنۡinnotأَمۡسَكَهُمَاamsakahumacan uphold themمِنۡminanyأَحَدٖahadinoneمِّنۢminafter Himبَعۡدِهِۦٓۚba'dihiafter HimإِنَّهُۥinnahuIndeed HeكَانَkanaisحَلِيمًاhalimanMost ForbearingغَفُورٗاghafuranOft-Forgiving٤١
35:42وَأَقۡسَمُواْwa-aqsamuAnd they sworeبِٱللَّهِbil-lahiby Allahجَهۡدَjahda(the) strongestأَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡaymanihim(of) their oathsلَئِنla-inthat ifجَآءَهُمۡjaahumcame to themنَذِيرٞnadhiruna warnerلَّيَكُونُنَّlayakununnasurely they would beأَهۡدَىٰahdamore guidedمِنۡminthanإِحۡدَىih'daanyٱلۡأُمَمِۖal-umami(of) the nationsفَلَمَّاfalammaBut whenجَآءَهُمۡjaahumcame to themنَذِيرٞnadhiruna warnerمَّاmanotزَادَهُمۡzadahumit increased themإِلَّاillabutنُفُورًاnufuran(in) aversion٤٢
35:43ٱسۡتِكۡبَارٗاis'tik'baran(Due to) arroganceفِيfiinٱلۡأَرۡضِal-ardithe landوَمَكۡرَwamakraand plottingٱلسَّيِّيِٕۚal-sayi-i(of) the evilوَلَاwalabut notيَحِيقُyahiquencompassesٱلۡمَكۡرُal-makruthe plotٱلسَّيِّئُal-sayi-u(of) the evilإِلَّاillaexceptبِأَهۡلِهِۦۚbi-ahlihiits own peopleفَهَلۡfahalThen doيَنظُرُونَyanzurunathey waitإِلَّاillaexceptسُنَّتَsunnata(the) wayٱلۡأَوَّلِينَۚal-awalina(of) the former (people)فَلَنfalanBut neverتَجِدَtajidayou will findلِسُنَّتِlisunnatiin (the) wayٱللَّهِal-lahi(of) Allahتَبۡدِيلٗاۖtabdilanany changeوَلَنwalanand neverتَجِدَtajidayou will findلِسُنَّتِlisunnatiin (the) wayٱللَّهِal-lahi(of) Allahتَحۡوِيلًاtahwilanany alteration٤٣
35:44أَوَلَمۡawalamHave they notيَسِيرُواْyasirutraveledفِيfiinٱلۡأَرۡضِal-ardithe landفَيَنظُرُواْfayanzuruand seenكَيۡفَkayfahowكَانَkanawasعَٰقِبَةُaqibatu(the) endٱلَّذِينَalladhina(of) those whoمِنmin(were) before themقَبۡلِهِمۡqablihim(were) before themوَكَانُوٓاْwakanuAnd they wereأَشَدَّashaddastrongerمِنۡهُمۡmin'humthan themقُوَّةٗۚquwwatan(in) powerوَمَاwamaBut notكَانَkanaisٱللَّهُal-lahuAllahلِيُعۡجِزَهُۥliyu'jizahuthat can escape (from) Himمِنminanyشَيۡءٖshayinthingفِيfiinٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِal-samawatithe heavensوَلَاwalaand notفِيfiinٱلۡأَرۡضِۚal-ardithe earthإِنَّهُۥinnahuIndeed HeكَانَkanaisعَلِيمٗاalimanAll-KnowerقَدِيرٗاqadiranAll-Powerful٤٤
35:45وَلَوۡwalawAnd ifيُؤَاخِذُyuakhidhuAllah (were to) punishٱللَّهُal-lahuAllah (were to) punishٱلنَّاسَal-nasathe peopleبِمَاbimafor whatكَسَبُواْkasabuthey have earnedمَاmanotتَرَكَtarakaHe would leaveعَلَىٰalaonظَهۡرِهَاzahrihaits backمِنminanyدَآبَّةٖdabbatincreatureوَلَٰكِنwalakinButيُؤَخِّرُهُمۡyu-akhiruhumHe gives them respiteإِلَىٰٓilatillأَجَلٖajalina termمُّسَمّٗىۖmusammanappointedفَإِذَاfa-idhaAnd whenجَآءَjaacomesأَجَلُهُمۡajaluhumtheir termفَإِنَّfa-innathen indeedٱللَّهَal-lahaAllahكَانَkanaisبِعِبَادِهِۦbi'ibadihiof His slavesبَصِيرَۢاbasiranAll-Seer٤٥
