yaftaḥu
He will judge
بَيۡنَنَا
baynanaa
between us
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
bilḥaq̣q̣:
in truth
وَهُوَ
wa-Huwal
And He
ٱلۡفَتَّاحُ
Fattaaḥul
(is) the Judge
ٱلۡعَلِيمُ
ʻAleem.
the All-Knowing
٢٦
34:27
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
أَرُونِيَ
ʹarooniyal
Show me
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those whom
أَلۡحَقۡتُم
ʹalḥaq̣tum̃
you have joined
بِهِۦ
bihee
with Him
شُرَكَآءَۖ
shurakaaaʹa
(as) partners
كـَلَّاۚ
kallaa.
By no means
بَلۡ
Bal
Nay
هُوَ
Huwal
He
ٱللَّهُ
laahul
(is) Allah
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
ʻAzeezul
the All-Mighty
ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
Ḥakeem.
the All-Wise
٢٧
34:28
وَمَآ
Wa-maaa
And not
أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ
ʹarsalnaaka
We have sent you
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
كَآفَّةٗ
kaaaffatal
comprehensively
لِّلنَّاسِ
linnaasi
to mankind
بَشِيرٗا
basheerañw
(as) a giver of glad tidings
وَنَذِيرٗا
wanaẓeerañw
and (as) a warner
وَلَٰكِنَّ
walaakinna
But
أَكۡثَرَ
ʹaks̤aran
most
ٱلنَّاسِ
naasi
[the] people
لَا
laa-
(do) not
يَعۡلَمُونَ
yaʻlamoon.
know
٢٨
34:29
وَيَقُولُونَ
Wa-yaq̣ooloona
And they say
مَتَىٰ
mataa
When
هَٰذَا
haaẓal
(is) this
ٱلۡوَعۡدُ
waʻdu
promise
إِن
ʹiñ
if
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you are
صَٰدِقِينَ
ṣaadiq̣een?
truthful
٢٩
34:30
قُل
Q̣ul
Say
لَّكُم
lakum
For you
مِّيعَادُ
meeʻaadu
(is the) appointment
يَوۡمٖ
Yawmil
(of) a Day
لَّا
laa
not
تَسۡتَـٔۡخِرُونَ
tastaʹkhiroona
you can postpone
عَنۡهُ
ʻanhu
[of] it
سَاعَةٗ
saaʻatañw
(for) an hour
وَلَا
walaa
and not
تَسۡتَقۡدِمُونَ
tastaq̣dimoon.
(can) you precede (it)
٣٠
34:31
وَقَالَ
Wa-q̣aalal
And say
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieve
لَن
lan
Never will
نُّؤۡمِنَ
nuʹmina
we believe
بِهَٰذَا
bihaaẓal
in this
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ
Q̣urʹaani
Quran
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
بِٱلَّذِي
billaẓee
in (that) which
بَيۡنَ
bayna
(was) before it
يَدَيۡهِۗ
yadayh.
(was) before it
وَلَوۡ
Wa-law
But if
تَرَىٰٓ
taraaa
you (could) see
إِذِ
ʹiẓiz̤̣
when
ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
z̤̣aalimoona
the wrongdoers
مَوۡقُوفُونَ
mawq̣oofoona
will be made to stand
عِندَ
ʻiñda
before
رَبِّهِمۡ
Rabbihim
their Lord
يَرۡجِعُ
yarjiʻu
will throw back
بَعۡضُهُمۡ
baʻḍuhum
some of them
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
بَعۡضٍ
baʻḍinil
others
ٱلۡقَوۡلَ
q̣awl.
the word
يَقُولُ
Yaq̣oolul
Will say
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeenas
those who
ٱسۡتُضۡعِفُواْ
tuḍʻifoo
were oppressed
لِلَّذِينَ
lillaẓeenas
to those who
ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ
takbaroo
were arrogant
لَوۡلَآ
law-laaa
If not
أَنتُمۡ
ʹañtum
(for) you
لَكُنَّا
lakunnaa
certainly we (would) have been
مُؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineen!
believers

34:32
قَالَ
Q̣aalal
Will say
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeenas
those who
ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ
takbaroo
were arrogant
لِلَّذِينَ
lillaẓeenas
to those
ٱسۡتُضۡعِفُوٓاْ
tuḍʻifooo
who were oppressed
أَنَحۡنُ
ʹanaḥnu
Did we
صَدَدۡنَٰكُمۡ
ṣadadnaakum
avert you
عَنِ
ʻanil
from
ٱلۡهُدَىٰ
Hudaa
the guidance
بَعۡدَ
baʻda
after
إِذۡ
ʹiẓ
when
جَآءَكُمۖ
jaaaʹakum
it had come to you
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
كُنتُم
kuñtum
you were
مُّجۡرِمِينَ
mujrimeen.
criminals
٣٢
34:33
وَقَالَ
Wa-q̣aalal
And will say
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeenas
those who
ٱسۡتُضۡعِفُواْ
tuḍʻifoo
were oppressed
لِلَّذِينَ
lillaẓeenas
to those who
ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ
takbaroo
were arrogant
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
مَكۡرُ
makrul
(it was) a plot
ٱلَّيۡلِ
layli
(by) night
وَٱلنَّهَارِ
wannahaari
and (by) day
إِذۡ
ʹiẓ
when
تَأۡمُرُونَنَآ
taʹmuroonanaaa
you were ordering us
أَن
ʹan
that
نَّكۡفُرَ
nakfura
we disbelieve
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
in Allah
وَنَجۡعَلَ
wa-najʻala
and we set up
لَهُۥٓ
lahooo
for Him
أَندَادٗاۚ
ʹañdaadaa!
equals
وَأَسَرُّواْ
Wa-ʹasarrun
But they will conceal
ٱلنَّدَامَةَ
nadaamata
the regret
لَمَّا
lammaa
when
رَأَوُاْ
raʹawul
they see
ٱلۡعَذَابَۚ
ʻAẓaab.
the punishment
وَجَعَلۡنَا
Wa-jaʻalnal
And We will put
ٱلۡأَغۡلَٰلَ
ʹag̣laala
shackles
فِيٓ
feee
on
أَعۡنَاقِ
ʹaʻnaaq̣il
(the) necks
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
(of) those who
كَفَرُواْۖ
kafaroo:
disbelieved
هَلۡ
hal
Will
يُجۡزَوۡنَ
yujzawna
they be recompensed
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
مَا
maa-
(for) what
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they used to
يَعۡمَلُونَ
yaʻmaloon.
do
٣٣
34:34
وَمَآ
Wa-maaa
And not
أَرۡسَلۡنَا
ʹarsalnaa
We sent
فِي
fee
to
قَرۡيَةٖ
q̣aryatim
a town
مِّن
min
any
نَّذِيرٍ
Naẓeerin
warner
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
but
قَالَ
q̣aala
said
مُتۡرَفُوهَآ
mutrafoohaaa
its wealthy ones
إِنَّا
ʹinnaa
Indeed we
بِمَآ
bimaaa
in what
أُرۡسِلۡتُم
ʹursiltum̃
you have been sent
بِهِۦ
bihee
with
كَٰفِرُونَ
kaafiroon.
(are) disbelievers
٣٤
34:35
وَقَالُواْ
Wa-q̣aaloo
And they say
نَحۡنُ
naḥnu
We
أَكۡثَرُ
ʹaks̤aru
(have) more
أَمۡوَٰلٗا
ʹawlaadañw
wealth
وَأَوۡلَٰدٗا
waʹamwaalañw
and children
وَمَا
wamaa
and not
نَحۡنُ
naḥnu
we
بِمُعَذَّبِينَ
bimuʻaẓẓabeen.
will be punished
٣٥
34:36
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
إِنَّ
ʹinna
Indeed
رَبِّي
Rabbee
my Lord
يَبۡسُطُ
yabsuṭur
extends
ٱلرِّزۡقَ
Rizq̣a
the provision
لِمَن
limañy
for whom
يَشَآءُ
yashaaaʹu
He wills
وَيَقۡدِرُ
wa-yaq̣diru
and restricts
وَلَٰكِنَّ
wa-laakinna
but
أَكۡثَرَ
ʹaks̤aran
most
ٱلنَّاسِ
naasi
[the] people
لَا
laa-
(do) not
يَعۡلَمُونَ
yaʻlamoon.
know
٣٦
34:37
وَمَآ
Wa-maaa
And not
أَمۡوَٰلُكُمۡ
ʹamwaalukum
your wealth
وَلَآ
wa-laaa
and not
أَوۡلَٰدُكُم
ʹawlaadukum
your children
بِٱلَّتِي
billatee
[that]
تُقَرِّبُكُمۡ
tuq̣arribukum
will bring you close
عِندَنَا
ʻiñdanaa
to Us
زُلۡفَىٰٓ
zulfaaa
(in) position
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
but
مَنۡ
man
whoever
ءَامَنَ
ʹaamana
believes
وَعَمِلَ
wa-ʻamila
and does
صَٰلِحٗا
ṣaaliḥaa.
righteousness
فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
Faʹulaaaʹika
then those
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
جَزَآءُ
Jazaaaʹuḍ
(will be) reward
ٱلضِّعۡفِ
ḍiʻfi
two-fold
بِمَا
bimaa
for what
عَمِلُواْ
ʻamiloo
they did
وَهُمۡ
wa-hum
and they
فِي
fil
(will be) in
ٱلۡغُرُفَٰتِ
g̣urufaati
the high dwellings
ءَامِنُونَ
ʹaaminoon!
secure
٣٧
34:38
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
And those who
يَسۡعَوۡنَ
yasʻawna
strive
فِيٓ
feee
against
ءَايَٰتِنَا
ʹAayaatinaa
Our Verses
مُعَٰجِزِينَ
muʻaajizeena
(to) cause failure
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹulaaaʹika
those
فِي
fil
into
ٱلۡعَذَابِ
ʻAẓaabi
the punishment
مُحۡضَرُونَ
muḥḍaroon.
(will be) brought
٣٨
34:39
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
إِنَّ
ʹinna
Indeed
رَبِّي
Rabbee
my Lord
يَبۡسُطُ
yabsuṭur
extends
ٱلرِّزۡقَ
Rizq̣a
the provision
لِمَن
limañy
for whom
يَشَآءُ
yashaaaʹu
He wills
مِنۡ
min
of
عِبَادِهِۦ
ʻibaadihee
His slaves
وَيَقۡدِرُ
wa-yaq̣diru
and restricts
لَهُۥۚ
lah.
for him
وَمَآ
Wa-maaa
But what
أَنفَقۡتُم
ʹañfaq̣tum
you spend
مِّن
miñ
of
شَيۡءٖ
shayʹiñ
anything
فَهُوَ
fa-Huwa
then He
يُخۡلِفُهُۥۖ
yukhlifuh:
will compensate it
وَهُوَ
wa-Huwa
and He
خَيۡرُ
Khayrur
(is the) Best
ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ
Raaziq̣een.
(of) the Providers

34:40
وَيَوۡمَ
Wa-Yawma
And (the) Day
يَحۡشُرُهُمۡ
yaḥshuruhum
He will gather them
جَمِيعٗا
jameeʻañ
all
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
يَقُولُ
yaq̣oolu
He will say
لِلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ
lilmalaaaʹikati
to the Angels
أَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
ʹa-haaaʹulaaaʹi
Were these you
إِيَّاكُمۡ
ʹiyyaakum
Were these you
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they were
يَعۡبُدُونَ
yaʻbudoon?
worshipping
٤٠
34:41
قَالُواْ
Q̣aaloo
They will say
سُبۡحَٰنَكَ
Subḥaanaka
Glory be to You
أَنتَ
ʹAñta
You
وَلِيُّنَا
Waliyyunaa
(are) our Protector
مِن
miñ
not them
دُونِهِمۖ
doonihim.
not them
بَلۡ
Bal
Nay
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they used
يَعۡبُدُونَ
yaʻbudoonal
(to) worship
ٱلۡجِنَّۖ
Jinn:
the jinn
أَكۡثَرُهُم
ʹaks̤aruhum̃
most of them
بِهِم
bihim
in them
مُّؤۡمِنُونَ
Muʹminoon.
(were) believers
٤١
34:42
فَٱلۡيَوۡمَ
Fal-Yawma
But today
لَا
laa-
not
يَمۡلِكُ
yamliku
possess power
بَعۡضُكُمۡ
baʻḍukum
some of you
لِبَعۡضٖ
libaʻḍin
on others
نَّفۡعٗا
nafʻañw
to benefit
وَلَا
walaa
and not
ضَرّٗا
ḍarraa:
to harm
وَنَقُولُ
wa-naq̣oolu
and We will say
لِلَّذِينَ
lil-laẓeena
to those
ظَلَمُواْ
z̤̣alamoo
who wronged
ذُوقُواْ
ẓooq̣oo
Taste
عَذَابَ
ʻAẓaaban
(the) punishment
ٱلنَّارِ
Naaril
(of) the Fire
ٱلَّتِي
latee
which
كُنتُم
kuñtum̃
you used
بِهَا
bihaa
to [it]
تُكَذِّبُونَ
tukaẓẓiboon!
deny
٤٢
34:43
وَإِذَا
Wa-ʹiẓaa
And when
تُتۡلَىٰ
tutlaa
are recited
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
to them
ءَايَٰتُنَا
ʹAayaatunaa
Our Verses
بَيِّنَٰتٖ
Bayyinaatiñ
clear
قَالُواْ
q̣aaloo
they say
مَا
maa-
Not
هَٰذَآ
haaẓaaa
(is) this
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
but
رَجُلٞ
rajuluñy
a man
يُرِيدُ
yureedu
who wishes
أَن
ʹañy
to
يَصُدَّكُمۡ
yaṣuddakum
hinder you
عَمَّا
ʻammaa
from what
كَانَ
kaana
used
يَعۡبُدُ
yaʻbudu
(to) worship
ءَابَآؤُكُمۡ
ʹaabaaaʹukum.
your forefathers
وَقَالُواْ
Wa-q̣aaloo
And they say
مَا
maa-
Not
هَٰذَآ
haaẓaaa
(is) this
إِلَّآ
ʹillaaa
except
إِفۡكٞ
ʹifkum
a lie
مُّفۡتَرٗىۚ
muftaraa!
invented
وَقَالَ
Wa-q̣aalal
And said
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieved
لِلۡحَقِّ
lil-Ḥaq̣q̣i
about the truth
لَمَّا
lammaa
when
جَآءَهُمۡ
jaaaʹahum
it came to them
إِنۡ
ʹin
Not
هَٰذَآ
haaẓaaa
(is) this
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
سِحۡرٞ
siḥrum
a magic
مُّبِينٞ
mubeen!
obvious
٤٣
34:44
وَمَآ
Wa-maaa
And not
ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُم
ʹaataynaahum
We (had) given them
مِّن
miñ
any
كُتُبٖ
Kutubiñy
Scriptures
يَدۡرُسُونَهَاۖ
yadrusoonahaa
which they could study
وَمَآ
wa-maaa
and not
أَرۡسَلۡنَآ
ʹarsalnaaa
We sent
إِلَيۡهِمۡ
ʹilayhim
to them
قَبۡلَكَ
q̣ablaka
before you
مِن
min
any
نَّذِيرٖ
Naẓeer.
warner
٤٤
34:45
وَكَذَّبَ
Wa-kaẓẓabal
And denied
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
مِن
miñ
(were) before them
قَبۡلِهِمۡ
q̣ablihim
(were) before them
وَمَا
wa-maa
and not
بَلَغُواْ
balag̣oo
they have attained
مِعۡشَارَ
miʻshaara
a tenth
مَآ
maaa
(of) what
ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمۡ
ʹaataynaahum
We (had) given them
فَكَذَّبُواْ
fakaẓẓaboo
But they denied
رُسُلِيۖ
rusulee:
My Messengers
فَكَيۡفَ
fakayfa
so how
كَانَ
kaana
was
نَكِيرِ
nakeer!
My rejection
٤٥
34:46
۞قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
إِنَّمَآ
ʹinnamaaa
Only
أَعِظُكُم
ʹaʻiz̤̣ukum̃
I advise you
بِوَٰحِدَةٍۖ
biwaaḥidah:
for one (thing)
أَن
ʹañ
that
تَقُومُواْ
taq̣oomoo
you stand
لِلَّهِ
lillaahi
for Allah
مَثۡنَىٰ
mas̤naa
(in) pairs
وَفُرَٰدَىٰ
wa-furaadaa
and (as) individuals
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
تَتَفَكَّرُواْۚ
tatafakkaroo:
reflect
مَا
maa-
Not
بِصَاحِبِكُم
bi-Ṣaaḥibikum
(is in) your companion
مِّن
miñ
any
جِنَّةٍۚ
Jinnah:
madness
إِنۡ
ʹin
Not
هُوَ
huwa
he
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
(is) except
نَذِيرٞ
Naẓeerul
a warner
لَّكُم
lakum̃
for you
بَيۡنَ
bayna
before
يَدَيۡ
yaday
before
عَذَابٖ
ʻAẓaabiñ
a punishment
شَدِيدٖ
shadeed.
severe
٤٦
34:47
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
مَا
maa-
Not
سَأَلۡتُكُم
saʹaltukum
I ask you
مِّنۡ
min
for
أَجۡرٖ
ʹajriñ
any payment
فَهُوَ
fahuwa
but it (is)
لَكُمۡۖ
lakum:
for you
إِنۡ
ʹin
Not
أَجۡرِيَ
ʹajriya
(is) my payment
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
but
عَلَى
ʻalal
from
ٱللَّهِۖ
laah:
Allah
وَهُوَ
wa-Huwa
And He
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
(is) over
كُلِّ
kulli
all
شَيۡءٖ
shayʹiñ
things
شَهِيدٞ
Shaheed.
a Witness
٤٧
34:48
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
إِنَّ
ʹinna
Indeed
رَبِّي
Rabbee
my Lord
يَقۡذِفُ
yaq̣ẓifu
projects
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
bil-Ḥaq̣q̣i
the truth
عَلَّٰمُ
ʻAllaamul
(the) All-Knower
ٱلۡغُيُوبِ
g̣uyoob.
(of) the unseen

قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
جَآءَ
jaaaʹal
Has come
ٱلۡحَقُّ
Ḥaq̣q̣u
the truth
وَمَا
wa-maa
and not
يُبۡدِئُ
yubdiʹul
(can) originate
ٱلۡبَٰطِلُ
Baaṭilu
the falsehood
وَمَا
wa-maa
and not
يُعِيدُ
yuʻeed.
repeat
٤٩
34:50
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
إِن
ʹiñ
If
ضَلَلۡتُ
ḍalaltu
I err
فَإِنَّمَآ
faʹinnamaaa
then only
أَضِلُّ
ʹaḍillu
I will err
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
against
نَفۡسِيۖ
nafsee:
myself
وَإِنِ
waʹinih
But if
ٱهۡتَدَيۡتُ
tadaytu
I am guided
فَبِمَا
fabimaa
then it is by what
يُوحِيٓ
yooḥeee
reveals
إِلَيَّ
ʹilayya
to me
رَبِّيٓۚ
Rabbee:
my Lord
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹinnahoo
Indeed He
سَمِيعٞ
Sameeʻuñ
(is) All-Hearer
قَرِيبٞ
Q̣areeb.
Ever-Near
