to yourself
مَن
man
whom
تَشَآءُۖ
tashau
you will
وَمَنِ
wamani
And whoever
ٱبۡتَغَيۡتَ
ib'taghayta
you desire
مِمَّنۡ
mimman
of those whom
عَزَلۡتَ
azalta
you (had) set aside
فَلَا
fala
then (there is) no
جُنَاحَ
junaha
blame
عَلَيۡكَۚ
alayka
upon you
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
أَدۡنَىٰٓ
adna
(is) more suitable
أَن
an
that
تَقَرَّ
taqarra
may be cooled
أَعۡيُنُهُنَّ
a'yunuhunna
their eyes
وَلَا
wala
and not
يَحۡزَنَّ
yahzanna
they grieve
وَيَرۡضَيۡنَ
wayardayna
and they may be pleased
بِمَآ
bima
with what
ءَاتَيۡتَهُنَّ
ataytahunna
you have given them
كُلُّهُنَّۚ
kulluhunna
all of them
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
ya'lamu
knows
مَا
ma
what
فِي
fi
(is) in
قُلُوبِكُمۡۚ
qulubikum
your hearts
وَكَانَ
wakana
And Allah is
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
And Allah is
عَلِيمًا
aliman
All-Knower
حَلِيمٗا
haliman
Most Forbearing
٥١
33:52
لَّا
la
(It is) not
يَحِلُّ
yahillu
lawful
لَكَ
laka
for you
ٱلنِّسَآءُ
al-nisau
(to marry) women
مِنۢ
min
after (this)
بَعۡدُ
ba'du
after (this)
وَلَآ
wala
and not
أَن
an
to
تَبَدَّلَ
tabaddala
exchange
بِهِنَّ
bihinna
them
مِنۡ
min
for
أَزۡوَٰجٖ
azwajin
(other) wives
وَلَوۡ
walaw
even if
أَعۡجَبَكَ
a'jabaka
pleases you
حُسۡنُهُنَّ
hus'nuhunna
their beauty
إِلَّا
illa
except
مَا
ma
whom
مَلَكَتۡ
malakat
you rightfully possess
يَمِينُكَۗ
yaminuka
you rightfully possess
وَكَانَ
wakana
And Allah is
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
And Allah is
عَلَىٰ
ala
over
كُلِّ
kulli
all
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
things
رَّقِيبٗا
raqiban
an Observer
٥٢
33:53
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
O you who believe
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
O you who believe
لَا
la
(Do) not
تَدۡخُلُواْ
tadkhulu
enter
بُيُوتَ
buyuta
(the) houses
ٱلنَّبِيِّ
al-nabiyi
(of) the Prophet
إِلَّآ
illa
except
أَن
an
when
يُؤۡذَنَ
yu'dhana
permission is given
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
إِلَىٰ
ila
for
طَعَامٍ
ta'amin
a meal
غَيۡرَ
ghayra
without
نَٰظِرِينَ
nazirina
awaiting
إِنَىٰهُ
inahu
its preparation
وَلَٰكِنۡ
walakin
But
إِذَا
idha
when
دُعِيتُمۡ
du'itum
you are invited
فَٱدۡخُلُواْ
fa-ud'khulu
then enter
فَإِذَا
fa-idha
and when
طَعِمۡتُمۡ
ta'im'tum
you have eaten
فَٱنتَشِرُواْ
fa-intashiru
then disperse
وَلَا
wala
and not
مُسۡتَـٔۡنِسِينَ
mus'tanisina
seeking to remain
لِحَدِيثٍۚ
lihadithin
for a conversation
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ذَٰلِكُمۡ
dhalikum
that
كَانَ
kana
was
يُؤۡذِي
yu'dhi
troubling
ٱلنَّبِيَّ
al-nabiya
the Prophet
فَيَسۡتَحۡيِۦ
fayastahyi
and he is shy
مِنكُمۡۖ
minkum
of (dismissing) you
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
But Allah
لَا
la
is not shy
يَسۡتَحۡيِۦ
yastahyi
is not shy
مِنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡحَقِّۚ
al-haqi
the truth
وَإِذَا
wa-idha
And when
سَأَلۡتُمُوهُنَّ
sa-altumuhunna
you ask them
مَتَٰعٗا
mata'an
(for) anything
فَسۡـَٔلُوهُنَّ
fasaluhunna
then ask them
مِن
min
from
وَرَآءِ
warai
behind
حِجَابٖۚ
hijabin
a screen
ذَٰلِكُمۡ
dhalikum
That
أَطۡهَرُ
atharu
(is) purer
لِقُلُوبِكُمۡ
liqulubikum
for your hearts
وَقُلُوبِهِنَّۚ
waqulubihinna
and their hearts
وَمَا
wama
And not
كَانَ
kana
is
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
أَن
an
that
تُؤۡذُواْ
tu'dhu
you trouble
رَسُولَ
rasula
(the) Messenger
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَلَآ
wala
and not
أَن
an
that
تَنكِحُوٓاْ
tankihu
you should marry
أَزۡوَٰجَهُۥ
azwajahu
his wives
مِنۢ
min
after him
بَعۡدِهِۦٓ
ba'dihi
after him
أَبَدًاۚ
abadan
ever
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ذَٰلِكُمۡ
dhalikum
that
كَانَ
kana
is
عِندَ
inda
near
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
عَظِيمًا
aziman
an enormity
٥٣
33:54
إِن
in
Whether
تُبۡدُواْ
tub'du
you reveal
شَيۡـًٔا
shayan
a thing
أَوۡ
aw
or
تُخۡفُوهُ
tukh'fuhu
conceal it
فَإِنَّ
fa-inna
indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
كَانَ
kana
is
بِكُلِّ
bikulli
of all
شَيۡءٍ
shayin
things
عَلِيمٗا
aliman
All-Knower

لَّا
la
(There is) no
جُنَاحَ
junaha
blame
عَلَيۡهِنَّ
alayhinna
upon them
فِيٓ
fi
concerning
ءَابَآئِهِنَّ
abaihinna
their fathers
وَلَآ
wala
and not
أَبۡنَآئِهِنَّ
abnaihinna
their sons
وَلَآ
wala
and not
إِخۡوَٰنِهِنَّ
ikh'wanihinna
their brothers
وَلَآ
wala
and not
أَبۡنَآءِ
abnai
sons
إِخۡوَٰنِهِنَّ
ikh'wanihinna
(of) their brothers
وَلَآ
wala
and not
أَبۡنَآءِ
abnai
sons
أَخَوَٰتِهِنَّ
akhawatihinna
(of) their sisters
وَلَا
wala
and not
نِسَآئِهِنَّ
nisaihinna
their women
وَلَا
wala
and not
مَا
ma
what
مَلَكَتۡ
malakat
they rightfully possess
أَيۡمَٰنُهُنَّۗ
aymanuhunna
they rightfully possess
وَٱتَّقِينَ
wa-ittaqina
And fear
ٱللَّهَۚ
al-laha
Allah
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
كَانَ
kana
is
عَلَىٰ
ala
over
كُلِّ
kulli
all
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
things
شَهِيدًا
shahidan
a Witness
٥٥
33:56
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتَهُۥ
wamalaikatahu
and His Angels
يُصَلُّونَ
yusalluna
send blessings
عَلَى
ala
upon
ٱلنَّبِيِّۚ
al-nabiyi
the Prophet
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
O you who believe
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
O you who believe
صَلُّواْ
sallu
Send blessings
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
on him
وَسَلِّمُواْ
wasallimu
and greet him
تَسۡلِيمًا
tasliman
(with) greetings
٥٦
33:57
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
يُؤۡذُونَ
yu'dhuna
annoy
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ
warasulahu
and His Messenger
لَعَنَهُمُ
la'anahumu
Allah has cursed them
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah has cursed them
فِي
fi
in
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
al-dun'ya
the world
وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ
wal-akhirati
and the Hereafter
وَأَعَدَّ
wa-a'adda
and prepared
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
عَذَابٗا
adhaban
a punishment
مُّهِينٗا
muhinan
humiliating
٥٧
33:58
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
And those who
يُؤۡذُونَ
yu'dhuna
harm
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
al-mu'minina
the believing men
وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ
wal-mu'minati
and the believing women
بِغَيۡرِ
bighayri
for other than
مَا
ma
what
ٱكۡتَسَبُواْ
ik'tasabu
they have earned
فَقَدِ
faqadi
then certainly
ٱحۡتَمَلُواْ
ih'tamalu
they bear
بُهۡتَٰنٗا
buh'tanan
false accusation
وَإِثۡمٗا
wa-ith'man
and sin
مُّبِينٗا
mubinan
manifest
٥٨
33:59
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O Prophet
ٱلنَّبِيُّ
al-nabiyu
O Prophet
قُل
qul
Say
لِّأَزۡوَٰجِكَ
li-azwajika
to your wives
وَبَنَاتِكَ
wabanatika
and your daughters
وَنِسَآءِ
wanisai
and (the) women
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
al-mu'minina
(of) the believers
يُدۡنِينَ
yud'nina
to draw
عَلَيۡهِنَّ
alayhinna
over themselves
مِن
min
[of]
جَلَٰبِيبِهِنَّۚ
jalabibihinna
their outer garments
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
أَدۡنَىٰٓ
adna
(is) more suitable
أَن
an
that
يُعۡرَفۡنَ
yu'rafna
they should be known
فَلَا
fala
and not
يُؤۡذَيۡنَۗ
yu'dhayna
harmed
وَكَانَ
wakana
And is
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
غَفُورٗا
ghafuran
Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٗا
rahiman
Most Merciful
٥٩
33:60
۞لَّئِن
la-in
If
لَّمۡ
lam
(do) not
يَنتَهِ
yantahi
cease
ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقُونَ
al-munafiquna
the hypocrites
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
and those who
فِي
fi
in
قُلُوبِهِم
qulubihim
their hearts
مَّرَضٞ
maradun
(is) a disease
وَٱلۡمُرۡجِفُونَ
wal-mur'jifuna
and those who spread rumors
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ
al-madinati
the city
لَنُغۡرِيَنَّكَ
lanugh'riyannaka
We will let you overpower them
بِهِمۡ
bihim
We will let you overpower them
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
لَا
la
not
يُجَاوِرُونَكَ
yujawirunaka
they will remain your neighbors
فِيهَآ
fiha
therein
إِلَّا
illa
except
قَلِيلٗا
qalilan
(for) a little
٦٠
33:61
مَّلۡعُونِينَۖ
mal'unina
Accursed
أَيۡنَمَا
aynama
wherever
ثُقِفُوٓاْ
thuqifu
they are found
أُخِذُواْ
ukhidhu
they are seized
وَقُتِّلُواْ
waquttilu
and massacred completely
تَقۡتِيلٗا
taqtilan
and massacred completely
٦١
33:62
سُنَّةَ
sunnata
(Such is the) Way
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
فِي
fi
with
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
خَلَوۡاْ
khalaw
passed away
مِن
min
before
قَبۡلُۖ
qablu
before
وَلَن
walan
and never
تَجِدَ
tajida
you will find
لِسُنَّةِ
lisunnati
in (the) Way
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
تَبۡدِيلٗا
tabdilan
any change

يَسۡـَٔلُكَ
yasaluka
Ask you
ٱلنَّاسُ
al-nasu
the people
عَنِ
ani
about
ٱلسَّاعَةِۖ
al-sa'ati
the Hour
قُلۡ
qul
Say
إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
عِلۡمُهَا
il'muha
its knowledge
عِندَ
inda
(is) with
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
Allah
وَمَا
wama
And what
يُدۡرِيكَ
yud'rika
will make you know
لَعَلَّ
la'alla
Perhaps
ٱلسَّاعَةَ
al-sa'ata
the Hour
تَكُونُ
takunu
is
قَرِيبًا
qariban
near
٦٣
33:64
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
لَعَنَ
la'ana
has cursed
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
al-kafirina
the disbelievers
وَأَعَدَّ
wa-a'adda
and has prepared
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
سَعِيرًا
sa'iran
a Blaze
٦٤
33:65
خَٰلِدِينَ
khalidina
Abiding
فِيهَآ
fiha
therein
أَبَدٗاۖ
abadan
forever
لَّا
la
not
يَجِدُونَ
yajiduna
they will find
وَلِيّٗا
waliyyan
any protector
وَلَا
wala
and not
نَصِيرٗا
nasiran
any helper
٦٥
33:66
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(The) Day
تُقَلَّبُ
tuqallabu
will be turned about
وُجُوهُهُمۡ
wujuhuhum
their faces
فِي
fi
in
ٱلنَّارِ
al-nari
the Fire
يَقُولُونَ
yaquluna
they will say
يَٰلَيۡتَنَآ
yalaytana
O we wish
أَطَعۡنَا
ata'na
we (had) obeyed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَأَطَعۡنَا
wa-ata'na
and obeyed
ٱلرَّسُولَا۠
al-rasula
the Messenger
٦٦
33:67
وَقَالُواْ
waqalu
And they will say
رَبَّنَآ
rabbana
Our Lord
إِنَّآ
inna
Indeed we
أَطَعۡنَا
ata'na
[we] obeyed
سَادَتَنَا
sadatana
our chiefs
وَكُبَرَآءَنَا
wakubaraana
and our great men
فَأَضَلُّونَا
fa-adalluna
and they misled us
ٱلسَّبِيلَا۠
al-sabila
(from) the Way
٦٧
33:68
رَبَّنَآ
rabbana
Our Lord
ءَاتِهِمۡ
atihim
Give them
ضِعۡفَيۡنِ
di'fayni
double
مِنَ
mina
[of]
ٱلۡعَذَابِ
al-'adhabi
punishment
وَٱلۡعَنۡهُمۡ
wal-'anhum
and curse them
لَعۡنٗا
la'nan
(with) a curse
كَبِيرٗا
kabiran
great
٦٨
33:69
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
O you who believe
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
O you who believe
لَا
la
(Do) not
تَكُونُواْ
takunu
be
كَٱلَّذِينَ
ka-alladhina
like those who
ءَاذَوۡاْ
adhaw
abused
مُوسَىٰ
musa
Musa
فَبَرَّأَهُ
fabarra-ahu
then Allah cleared him
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
then Allah cleared him
مِمَّا
mimma
of what
قَالُواْۚ
qalu
they said
وَكَانَ
wakana
And he was
عِندَ
inda
near
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
وَجِيهٗا
wajihan
honorable
٦٩
33:70
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
O you who believe
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
O you who believe
ٱتَّقُواْ
ittaqu
Fear
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَقُولُواْ
waqulu
and speak
قَوۡلٗا
qawlan
a word
سَدِيدٗا
sadidan
right
٧٠
33:71
يُصۡلِحۡ
yus'lih
He will amend
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
أَعۡمَٰلَكُمۡ
a'malakum
your deeds
وَيَغۡفِرۡ
wayaghfir
and forgive
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
ذُنُوبَكُمۡۗ
dhunubakum
your sins
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يُطِعِ
yuti'i
obeys
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ
warasulahu
and His Messenger
فَقَدۡ
faqad
certainly
فَازَ
faza
has attained
فَوۡزًا
fawzan
an attainment
عَظِيمًا
aziman
great
٧١
33:72
إِنَّا
inna
Indeed We
عَرَضۡنَا
aradna
[We] offered
ٱلۡأَمَانَةَ
al-amanata
the Trust
عَلَى
ala
to
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
wal-ardi
and the earth
وَٱلۡجِبَالِ
wal-jibali
and the mountains
فَأَبَيۡنَ
fa-abayna
but they refused
أَن
an
to
يَحۡمِلۡنَهَا
yahmil'naha
bear it
وَأَشۡفَقۡنَ
wa-ashfaqna
and they feared
مِنۡهَا
min'ha
from it
وَحَمَلَهَا
wahamalaha
but bore it
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُۖ
al-insanu
the man
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed he
كَانَ
kana
was
ظَلُومٗا
zaluman
unjust
جَهُولٗا
jahulan
ignorant
٧٢
33:73
لِّيُعَذِّبَ
liyu'adhiba
So that Allah may punish
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
So that Allah may punish
ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ
al-munafiqina
the hypocrite men
وَٱلۡمُنَٰفِقَٰتِ
wal-munafiqati
and the hypocrite women
وَٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ
wal-mush'rikina
and the polytheist men
وَٱلۡمُشۡرِكَٰتِ
wal-mush'rikati
and the polytheist women
وَيَتُوبَ
wayatuba
and Allah will turn (in Mercy)
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
and Allah will turn (in Mercy)
عَلَى
ala
to
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
al-mu'minina
the believing men
وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِۗ
wal-mu'minati
and the believing women
وَكَانَ
wakana
And Allah is
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
And Allah is
غَفُورٗا
ghafuran
Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمَۢا
rahiman
Most Merciful
٧٣
