وَأَنزَلَ
Wa-ʹañzalal
And He brought down
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
ظَٰهَرُوهُم
z̤̣aaharoohum
backed them
مِّنۡ
min
among
أَهۡلِ
ʹahlil
(the) People
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
Kitaabi
(of) the Scripture
مِن
miñ
from
صَيَاصِيهِمۡ
ṣayaaṣeehim
their fortresses
وَقَذَفَ
wa-q̣aẓafa
and cast
فِي
fee
into
قُلُوبِهِمُ
q̣uloobihi
their hearts
ٱلرُّعۡبَ
mur-ruʻba
[the] terror
فَرِيقٗا
fareeq̣añ
a group
تَقۡتُلُونَ
taq̣tuloona
you killed
وَتَأۡسِرُونَ
wa-taʹsiroona
and you took captive
فَرِيقٗا
fareeq̣aa.
a group
٢٦
33:27
وَأَوۡرَثَكُمۡ
Wa-ʹawras̤akum
And He caused you to inherit
أَرۡضَهُمۡ
ʹarḍahum
their land
وَدِيَٰرَهُمۡ
wa-diyaarahum
and their houses
وَأَمۡوَٰلَهُمۡ
wa-ʹamwaalahum
and their properties
وَأَرۡضٗا
wa-ʹarḍal
and a land
لَّمۡ
lam
not
تَطَـُٔوهَاۚ
taṭaʹoohaa.
you (had) trodden
وَكَانَ
Wa-kaanal
And Allah is
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
And Allah is
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
on
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شَيۡءٖ
shayiñ
thing
قَدِيرٗا
Q̣adeeraa.
All-Powerful
٢٧
33:28
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhan
O Prophet
ٱلنَّبِيُّ
Nabiyyu
O Prophet
قُل
q̣ul
Say
لِّأَزۡوَٰجِكَ
liʹazwaajika
to your wives
إِن
ʹiñ
If
كُنتُنَّ
kuñtunna
you
تُرِدۡنَ
turidnal
desire
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ
ḥayaatad
the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
dunyaa
(of) the world
وَزِينَتَهَا
wa-zeenatahaa
and its adornment
فَتَعَالَيۡنَ
fataʻaalayna
then come
أُمَتِّعۡكُنَّ
ʹumattiʻkunna
I will provide for you
وَأُسَرِّحۡكُنَّ
wa-ʹusarriḥkunna
and release you
سَرَاحٗا
saraahañ
(with) a release
جَمِيلٗا
jameelaa.
good
٢٨
33:29
وَإِن
Wa-ʹiñ
But if
كُنتُنَّ
kuñtunna
you
تُرِدۡنَ
turidnal
desire
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ
wa-Rasoolahoo
and His Messenger
وَٱلدَّارَ
wad-Daaral
and the Home
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَ
ʹAakhirata
(of) the Hereafter
فَإِنَّ
faʹinnal
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
أَعَدَّ
ʹaʻadda
has prepared
لِلۡمُحۡسِنَٰتِ
lil-Muḥsinaati
for the good-doers
مِنكُنَّ
miñ-kunna
among you
أَجۡرًا
ʹajran
a reward
عَظِيمٗا
ʻaz̤̣eemaa.
great
٢٩
33:30
يَٰنِسَآءَ
Yaa-Nisaaaʹan
O wives
ٱلنَّبِيِّ
Nabiyyi
(of) the Prophet
مَن
mañy
Whoever
يَأۡتِ
yaʹti
commits
مِنكُنَّ
miñkunna
from you
بِفَٰحِشَةٖ
bifaaḥishatim
immorality
مُّبَيِّنَةٖ
mubayyinatiñy
clear
يُضَٰعَفۡ
yuḍaaʻaf
will be doubled
لَهَا
lahal
for her
ٱلۡعَذَابُ
ʻAẓaabu
the punishment
ضِعۡفَيۡنِۚ
ḍiʻfayn:
two fold
وَكَانَ
wa-kaana
And that is
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
And that is
عَلَى
ʻalal
for
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
يَسِيرٗا
yaseeraa.
easy

33:31
۞وَمَن
Wa-mañy
And whoever
يَقۡنُتۡ
yaq̣nut
is obedient
مِنكُنَّ
miñkunna
among you
لِلَّهِ
lillaahi
to Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦ
wa-Rasoolihee
and His Messenger
وَتَعۡمَلۡ
wa-taʻmal
and does
صَٰلِحٗا
ṣaaliḥan
righteousness
نُّؤۡتِهَآ
nuʹtihaaa
We will give her
أَجۡرَهَا
ʹajrahaa
her reward
مَرَّتَيۡنِ
marratayni
twice
وَأَعۡتَدۡنَا
wa-ʹaʻtadnaa
and We have prepared
لَهَا
lahaa
for her
رِزۡقٗا
Rizq̣añ
a provision
كَرِيمٗا
kareemaa.

33:32
يَٰنِسَآءَ
Yaa-Nisaaaʹan
O wives
ٱلنَّبِيِّ
Nabiyyi
(of) the Prophet
لَسۡتُنَّ
lastunna
You are not
كَأَحَدٖ
kaʹaḥadim
like anyone
مِّنَ
minan
among
ٱلنِّسَآءِ
nisaaaʹi
the women
إِنِ
ʹinit
If
ٱتَّقَيۡتُنَّۚ
taq̣aytunna
you fear (Allah)
فَلَا
falaa
then (do) not
تَخۡضَعۡنَ
takhḍaʻna
be soft
بِٱلۡقَوۡلِ
bilq̣awli
in speech
فَيَطۡمَعَ
fayaṭmaʻal
lest should be moved with desire
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
he who
فِي
fee
in
قَلۡبِهِۦ
q̣albihee
his heart
مَرَضٞ
maraḍuñw
(is) a disease
وَقُلۡنَ
waq̣ulna
but say
قَوۡلٗا
q̣awlam
a word
مَّعۡرُوفٗا
maʻroofaa.
appropriate
٣٢
33:33
وَقَرۡنَ
Wa-q̣arna
And stay
فِي
fee
in
بُيُوتِكُنَّ
buyootikunna
your houses
وَلَا
wa-laa
and (do) not
تَبَرَّجۡنَ
tabarrajna
display yourselves
تَبَرُّجَ
tabarrujal
(as was the) display
ٱلۡجَٰهِلِيَّةِ
Jaahiliyyatil
(of the times of) ignorance
ٱلۡأُولَىٰۖ
ʹoolaa
the former
وَأَقِمۡنَ
wa-ʹaq̣imnaṣ
And establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
Ṣalaata
the prayer
وَءَاتِينَ
wa-ʹaateenaz
and give
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ
Zakaata
zakah
وَأَطِعۡنَ
wa-ʹaṭiʻnal
and obey
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥٓۚ
wa-Rasoolah.
and His Messenger
إِنَّمَا
ʹInnamaa
Only
يُرِيدُ
yureedul
Allah wishes
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah wishes
لِيُذۡهِبَ
liyuẓhiba
to remove
عَنكُمُ
ʻañkumur
from you
ٱلرِّجۡسَ
rijsa
the impurity
أَهۡلَ
ʹAhlal
(O) People
ٱلۡبَيۡتِ
Bayti
(of) the House
وَيُطَهِّرَكُمۡ
wa-yuṭahhirakum
And to purify you
تَطۡهِيرٗا
taṭheeraa.
(with thorough) purification
٣٣
33:34
وَٱذۡكُرۡنَ
Waẓkurna
And remember
مَا
maa-
what
يُتۡلَىٰ
yutlaa
is recited
فِي
fee
in
بُيُوتِكُنَّ
buyootikunna
your houses
مِنۡ
min
of
ءَايَٰتِ
ʹAayaatil
(the) Verses
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
وَٱلۡحِكۡمَةِۚ
wal-Ḥikmah:
and the wisdom
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
كَانَ
kaana
is
لَطِيفًا
Laṭeefan
All-Subtle
خَبِيرًا
khabeeraa.
All-Aware
٣٤
33:35
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ
Muslimeena
the Muslim men
وَٱلۡمُسۡلِمَٰتِ
wal-Muslimaati
and the Muslim women
وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
wal-muʹmineena
and the believing men
وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ
wal-muʹminaati
and the believing women
وَٱلۡقَٰنِتِينَ
walq̣aaniteena
and the obedient men
وَٱلۡقَٰنِتَٰتِ
walq̣aanitaati
and the obedient women
وَٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
waṣṣaadiq̣eena
and the truthful men
وَٱلصَّٰدِقَٰتِ
waṣṣaadiq̣aati
and the truthful women
وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ
waṣṣaabireena
and the patient men
وَٱلصَّٰبِرَٰتِ
waṣṣaabiraati
and the patient women
وَٱلۡخَٰشِعِينَ
walkhaashiʻeena
and the humble men
وَٱلۡخَٰشِعَٰتِ
walkhaashiʻaati
and the humble women
وَٱلۡمُتَصَدِّقِينَ
walmutaṣaddiq̣eena
and the men who give charity
وَٱلۡمُتَصَدِّقَٰتِ
walmutaṣaddiq̣aati
and the women who give charity
وَٱلصَّٰٓئِمِينَ
waṣṣaaaʹimeena
and the men who fast
وَٱلصَّٰٓئِمَٰتِ
waṣṣaaaʹimaati
and the women who fast
وَٱلۡحَٰفِظِينَ
walḥaafiz̤̣eena
and the men who guard
فُرُوجَهُمۡ
furoojahum
their chastity
وَٱلۡحَٰفِظَٰتِ
walḥaafiz̤̣aati
and the women who guard (it)
وَٱلذَّٰكِرِينَ
waẓ-ẓaakireenal
and the men who remember
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
كَثِيرٗا
kas̤eerañw
much
وَٱلذَّٰكِرَٰتِ
waẓ-ẓaakiraati
and the women who remember
أَعَدَّ
ʹaʻaddal
Allah has prepared
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah has prepared
لَهُم
lahum
for them
مَّغۡفِرَةٗ
mag̣firatañw
forgiveness
وَأَجۡرًا
waʹajran
and a reward
عَظِيمٗا
ʻaz̤̣eemaa.

33:36
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
كَانَ
kaana
(it) is
لِمُؤۡمِنٖ
li-Muʹminiñw
for a believing man
وَلَا
walaa
and not
مُؤۡمِنَةٍ
Muʹminatin
(for) a believing woman
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
when
قَضَى
q̣aḍal
Allah has decided
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah has decided
وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ
wa-Rasooluhooo
and His Messenger
أَمۡرًا
ʹamran
a matter
أَن
ʹañy
that
يَكُونَ
yakoona
(there) should be
لَهُمُ
lahumul
for them
ٱلۡخِيَرَةُ
khiyaratu
(any) choice
مِنۡ
min
about
أَمۡرِهِمۡۗ
ʹamrihim:
their affair
وَمَن
wa-mañy
And whoever
يَعۡصِ
yaʻṣil
disobeys
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ
wa-Rasoolahoo
and His Messenger
فَقَدۡ
faq̣ad
certainly
ضَلَّ
ḍalla
he (has) strayed
ضَلَٰلٗا
ḍalaalam
(into) error
مُّبِينٗا
mubeenaa.

33:37
وَإِذۡ
Wa-ʹiẓ
And when
تَقُولُ
taq̣oolu
you said
لِلَّذِيٓ
lillaẓeee
to the one
أَنۡعَمَ
ʹanʻamal
Allah bestowed favor
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah bestowed favor
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
on him
وَأَنۡعَمۡتَ
wa-ʹanʻamta
and you bestowed favor
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
on him
أَمۡسِكۡ
ʹamsik
Keep
عَلَيۡكَ
ʻalayka
to yourself
زَوۡجَكَ
zawjaka
your wife
وَٱتَّقِ
wattaq̣il
and fear
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
وَتُخۡفِي
wa-tukhfee
But you concealed
فِي
fee
within
نَفۡسِكَ
nafsika
yourself
مَا
mal
what
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
مُبۡدِيهِ
mubdeehi
(was to) disclose
وَتَخۡشَى
watakhshan
And you fear
ٱلنَّاسَ
naas.
the people
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
while Allah
أَحَقُّ
ʹaḥaq̣q̣u
has more right
أَن
ʹañ
that
تَخۡشَىٰهُۖ
takhshaah.
you (should) fear Him
فَلَمَّا
Falammaa
So when
قَضَىٰ
q̣aḍaa
ended
زَيۡدٞ
Zaydum
Zaid
مِّنۡهَا
minhaa
from her
وَطَرٗا
wa-ṭarañ
necessary (formalities)
زَوَّجۡنَٰكَهَا
zawwajnaakahaa
We married her to you
لِكَيۡ
likay
so that
لَا
laa-
not
يَكُونَ
yakoona
there be
عَلَى
ʻalal
on
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineena
the believers
حَرَجٞ
ḥarajuñ
any discomfort
فِيٓ
feee
concerning
أَزۡوَٰجِ
ʹazwaaji
the wives
أَدۡعِيَآئِهِمۡ
ʹadʻiyaaaʹihim
(of) their adopted sons
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
when
قَضَوۡاْ
q̣aḍaw
they have ended
مِنۡهُنَّ
minhunna
from them
وَطَرٗاۚ
waṭaraa.
necessary (formalities)
وَكَانَ
Wa-kaana
And is
أَمۡرُ
ʹamrul
(the) Command
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
مَفۡعُولٗا
mafʻoolaa.
accomplished
٣٧
33:38
مَّا
Maa-
Not
كَانَ
kaana
(there can) be
عَلَى
ʻalan
upon
ٱلنَّبِيِّ
Nabiyyi
the Prophet
مِنۡ
min
any
حَرَجٖ
ḥarajiñ
discomfort
فِيمَا
feemaa
in what
فَرَضَ
faraḍal
Allah has imposed
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah has imposed
لَهُۥۖ
lah.
on him
سُنَّةَ
Sunnatal
(That is the) Way
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
فِي
fil
concerning
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
خَلَوۡاْ
khalaw
passed away
مِن
miñ
before
قَبۡلُۚ
q̣abl.
before
وَكَانَ
Wa-kaana
And is
أَمۡرُ
ʹamrul
(the) Command
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
قَدَرٗا
q̣adaram
a decree
مَّقۡدُورًا
maq̣dooraa.
destined
٣٨
33:39
ٱلَّذِينَ
ʹAllaẓeena
Those who
يُبَلِّغُونَ
yuballig̣oona
convey
رِسَٰلَٰتِ
Risaalaatil
(the) Messages
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
وَيَخۡشَوۡنَهُۥ
wa-yakhshaw-nahoo
and fear Him
وَلَا
wa-laa
and (do) not
يَخۡشَوۡنَ
yakhshawna
fear
أَحَدًا
ʹaḥadan
anyone
إِلَّا
ʹillal
except
ٱللَّهَۗ
laah.
Allah
وَكَفَىٰ
Wa-kafaa
And sufficient is Allah
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
And sufficient is Allah
حَسِيبٗا
Ḥaseebaa.
(as) a Reckoner
٣٩
33:40
مَّا
Maa-
Not
كَانَ
kaana
is
مُحَمَّدٌ
Muḥammadun
Muhammad
أَبَآ
ʹabaaa
(the) father
أَحَدٖ
ʹaḥadim
(of) anyone
مِّن
mir
of
رِّجَالِكُمۡ
rijaalikum
your men
وَلَٰكِن
wa-laakir
but
رَّسُولَ
Rasoolal
(he is the) Messenger
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
وَخَاتَمَ
wa-Khaataman
and Seal
ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَۗ
Nabiyyeen:
(of) the Prophets
وَكَانَ
wa-kaanal
And Allah is
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
And Allah is
بِكُلِّ
bikulli
of every
شَيۡءٍ
shayʹin
thing
عَلِيمٗا
ʻAleemaa.
All-Knower
٤٠
33:41
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhal
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
O you who believe
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanuẓ
O you who believe
ٱذۡكُرُواْ
kurul
Remember
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
ذِكۡرٗا
ẓikrañ
(with) remembrance
كَثِيرٗا
kas̤eeraa;
much
٤١
33:42
وَسَبِّحُوهُ
Wa-sabbiḥoohu
And glorify Him
بُكۡرَةٗ
bukratañw
morning
وَأَصِيلًا
waʹaṣeelaa.
and evening
٤٢
33:43
هُوَ
Huwal
He
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
(is) the One Who
يُصَلِّي
yuṣallee
sends His blessings
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
ʻalaykum
upon you
وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتُهُۥ
wa-malaaaʹikatuhoo
and His Angels
لِيُخۡرِجَكُم
liyukhrijakum
so that He may bring you out
مِّنَ
minaz̤̣
from
ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ
Z̤̣ulumaati
the darkness[es]
إِلَى
ʹilan
to
ٱلنُّورِۚ
Noor:
the light
وَكَانَ
wa-kaana
And He is
بِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
bil-Muʹmineena
to the believers
رَحِيمٗا
Raḥeemaa.
Merciful

33:44
تَحِيَّتُهُمۡ
Taḥiyyatuhum
Their greetings
يَوۡمَ
Yawma
(on the) Day
يَلۡقَوۡنَهُۥ
yalq̣awnahoo
they will meet Him
سَلَٰمٞۚ
Salaam;
(will be) Peace
وَأَعَدَّ
wa-ʹaʻadda
and He has prepared
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
أَجۡرٗا
ʹAjrañ
a reward
كَرِيمٗا
Kareemaa.
noble
٤٤
33:45
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhan
O Prophet
ٱلنَّبِيُّ
Nabiyyu
O Prophet
إِنَّآ
ʹinnaaa
Indeed We
أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ
ʹarsalnaaka
have sent you
شَٰهِدٗا
Shaahidañw
(as) a witness
وَمُبَشِّرٗا
Wa-Mubashshirañw
and a bearer of glad tidings
وَنَذِيرٗا
Wa-Naẓeeraa,
and (as) a warner
٤٥
33:46
وَدَاعِيًا
Wa-Daaʻiyan
And as one who invites
إِلَى
ʹilal
to
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
بِإِذۡنِهِۦ
biʹiẓnihee
by His permission
وَسِرَاجٗا
wa-Siraajam
and (as) a lamp
مُّنِيرٗا
Muneeraa.
illuminating
٤٦
33:47
وَبَشِّرِ
Wa-bashshiril
And give glad tidings
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineena
(to) the believers
بِأَنَّ
biʹanna
that
لَهُم
lahum
for them
مِّنَ
minal
(is) from
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
فَضۡلٗا
Faḍlañ
a Bounty
كَبِيرٗا
kabeeraa.
great
٤٧
33:48
وَلَا
Wa-laa
And (do) not
تُطِعِ
tuṭiʻil
obey
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
kaafireena
the disbelievers
وَٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ
wal-Munaafiq̣eena
and the hypocrites
وَدَعۡ
wa-daʻ
and disregard
أَذَىٰهُمۡ
ʹaẓaahum
their harm
وَتَوَكَّلۡ
wa-tawakkal
and put your trust
عَلَى
ʻalal
in
ٱللَّهِۚ
laah.
Allah
وَكَفَىٰ
Wa-kafaa
And sufficient is Allah
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
And sufficient is Allah
وَكِيلٗا
Wakeelaa.
(as) a Trustee
٤٨
33:49
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhal
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
O you who believe
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
ʹaamanooo
O you who believe
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
When
نَكَحۡتُمُ
nakaḥtumul
you marry
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ
Muʹminaati
believing women
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
and then
طَلَّقۡتُمُوهُنَّ
ṭallaq̣tumoohunna
divorce them
مِن
miñ
before
قَبۡلِ
q̣abli
before
أَن
ʹañ
[that]
تَمَسُّوهُنَّ
tamassoohunna
you have touched them
فَمَا
famaa
then not
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
عَلَيۡهِنَّ
ʻalayhinna
on them
مِنۡ
min
any
عِدَّةٖ
ʻIddatiñ
waiting period
تَعۡتَدُّونَهَاۖ
taʻtaddoonahaa
(to) count concerning them
فَمَتِّعُوهُنَّ
famattiʻoohunna
So provide for them
وَسَرِّحُوهُنَّ
wa-sarriḥoo-hunna
and release them
سَرَاحٗا
saraaḥañ
(with) a release
جَمِيلٗا
jameelaa.

33:50
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhan
O Prophet
ٱلنَّبِيُّ
Nabiyyu
O Prophet
إِنَّآ
ʹinnaaa
Indeed We
أَحۡلَلۡنَا
ʹaḥlalnaa
[We] have made lawful
لَكَ
laka
to you
أَزۡوَٰجَكَ
ʹazwaajakal
your wives
ٱلَّٰتِيٓ
laateee
(to) whom
ءَاتَيۡتَ
ʹaatayta
you have given
أُجُورَهُنَّ
ʹujoorahunna
their bridal money
وَمَا
wa-maa
and whom
مَلَكَتۡ
malakat
you rightfully possess
يَمِينُكَ
yameenuka
you rightfully possess
مِمَّآ
mimmaaa
from those (whom)
أَفَآءَ
ʹafaaaʹal
Allah has given
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah has given
عَلَيۡكَ
ʻalayka
to you
وَبَنَاتِ
wa-banaati
and (the) daughters
عَمِّكَ
ʻammika
(of) your paternal uncles
وَبَنَاتِ
wa-banaati
and (the) daughters
عَمَّٰتِكَ
ʻammaatika
(of) your paternal aunts
وَبَنَاتِ
wa-banaati
and (the) daughters
خَالِكَ
khaalika
(of) your maternal uncles
وَبَنَاتِ
wa-banaati
and (the) daughters
خَٰلَٰتِكَ
khaalaatikal
(of) your maternal aunts
ٱلَّٰتِي
laatee
who
هَاجَرۡنَ
haajarna
emigrated
مَعَكَ
maʻak:
with you
وَٱمۡرَأَةٗ
wamraʹatam
and a woman
مُّؤۡمِنَةً
Muʹminatan
believing
إِن
ʹiñw
if
وَهَبَتۡ
wahabat
she gives
نَفۡسَهَا
nafsahaa
herself
لِلنَّبِيِّ
lin-Nabiyyi
to the Prophet
إِنۡ
ʹin
if
أَرَادَ
ʹaraadan
wishes
ٱلنَّبِيُّ
Nabiyyu
the Prophet
أَن
ʹañy
to
يَسۡتَنكِحَهَا
yastañkiḥahaa;―
marry her
خَالِصَةٗ
khaaliṣatal
only
لَّكَ
laka
for you
مِن
miñ
excluding
دُونِ
doonil
excluding
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَۗ
Muʹmineen;
the believers
قَدۡ
q̣ad
Certainly
عَلِمۡنَا
ʻalimnaa
We know
مَا
maa-
what
فَرَضۡنَا
faraḍnaa
We have made obligatory
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
upon them
فِيٓ
feee
concerning
أَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ
ʹazwaajihim
their wives
وَمَا
wa-maa
and whom
مَلَكَتۡ
malakat
they rightfully possess
أَيۡمَٰنُهُمۡ
ʹaymaanuhum
they rightfully possess
لِكَيۡلَا
likaylaa
that not
يَكُونَ
yakoona
should be
عَلَيۡكَ
ʻalayka
on you
حَرَجٞۗ
ḥaraj.
any discomfort
وَكَانَ
Wa-kaanal
And Allah is
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
And Allah is
غَفُورٗا
G̣afoorar
Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٗا
Raḥeemaa.
Most Merciful
