يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O Prophet
ٱلنَّبِيُّ
al-nabiyu
O Prophet
ٱتَّقِ
ittaqi
Fear
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَلَا
wala
and (do) not
تُطِعِ
tuti'i
obey
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
al-kafirina
the disbelievers
وَٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَۚ
wal-munafiqina
and the hypocrites
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
كَانَ
kana
is
عَلِيمًا
aliman
All-Knower
حَكِيمٗا
hakiman
All-Wise
١
33:2
وَٱتَّبِعۡ
wa-ittabi'
And follow
مَا
ma
what
يُوحَىٰٓ
yuha
is inspired
إِلَيۡكَ
ilayka
to you
مِن
min
from
رَّبِّكَۚ
rabbika
your Lord
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
كَانَ
kana
is
بِمَا
bima
of what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
ta'maluna
you do
خَبِيرٗا
khabiran
All-Aware
٢
33:3
وَتَوَكَّلۡ
watawakkal
And put your trust
عَلَى
ala
in
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
Allah
وَكَفَىٰ
wakafa
And Allah is sufficient
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
And Allah is sufficient
وَكِيلٗا
wakilan
(as) Disposer of affairs
٣
33:4
مَّا
ma
Not
جَعَلَ
ja'ala
Allah (has) made
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah (has) made
لِرَجُلٖ
lirajulin
for any man
مِّن
min
[of]
قَلۡبَيۡنِ
qalbayni
two hearts
فِي
fi
in
جَوۡفِهِۦۚ
jawfihi
his interior
وَمَا
wama
And not
جَعَلَ
ja'ala
He (has) made
أَزۡوَٰجَكُمُ
azwajakumu
your wives
ٱلَّٰٓـِٔي
allai
whom
تُظَٰهِرُونَ
tuzahiruna
you declare unlawful
مِنۡهُنَّ
min'hunna
[of them]
أُمَّهَٰتِكُمۡۚ
ummahatikum
(as) your mothers
وَمَا
wama
And not
جَعَلَ
ja'ala
He has made
أَدۡعِيَآءَكُمۡ
ad'iyaakum
your adopted sons
أَبۡنَآءَكُمۡۚ
abnaakum
your sons
ذَٰلِكُمۡ
dhalikum
That
قَوۡلُكُم
qawlukum
(is) your saying
بِأَفۡوَٰهِكُمۡۖ
bi-afwahikum
by your mouths
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
but Allah
يَقُولُ
yaqulu
says
ٱلۡحَقَّ
al-haqa
the truth
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
and He
يَهۡدِي
yahdi
guides
ٱلسَّبِيلَ
al-sabila
(to) the Way
٤
33:5
ٱدۡعُوهُمۡ
id'uhum
Call them
لِأٓبَآئِهِمۡ
liabaihim
by their fathers
هُوَ
huwa
it
أَقۡسَطُ
aqsatu
(is) more just
عِندَ
inda
near
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
Allah
فَإِن
fa-in
But if
لَّمۡ
lam
not
تَعۡلَمُوٓاْ
ta'lamu
you know
ءَابَآءَهُمۡ
abaahum
their fathers
فَإِخۡوَٰنُكُمۡ
fa-ikh'wanukum
then (they are) your brothers
فِي
fi
in
ٱلدِّينِ
al-dini
[the] religion
وَمَوَٰلِيكُمۡۚ
wamawalikum
and your friends
وَلَيۡسَ
walaysa
But not is
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
alaykum
upon you
جُنَاحٞ
junahun
any blame
فِيمَآ
fima
in what
أَخۡطَأۡتُم
akhtatum
you made a mistake
بِهِۦ
bihi
in it
وَلَٰكِن
walakin
but
مَّا
ma
what
تَعَمَّدَتۡ
ta'ammadat
intended
قُلُوبُكُمۡۚ
qulubukum
your hearts
وَكَانَ
wakana
And Allah
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
And Allah
غَفُورٗا
ghafuran
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمًا
rahiman
Most Merciful
٥
33:6
ٱلنَّبِيُّ
al-nabiyu
The Prophet
أَوۡلَىٰ
awla
(is) closer
بِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
bil-mu'minina
to the believers
مِنۡ
min
than
أَنفُسِهِمۡۖ
anfusihim
their own selves
وَأَزۡوَٰجُهُۥٓ
wa-azwajuhu
and his wives
أُمَّهَٰتُهُمۡۗ
ummahatuhum
(are) their mothers
وَأُوْلُواْ
wa-ulu
And possessors
ٱلۡأَرۡحَامِ
al-arhami
(of) relationships
بَعۡضُهُمۡ
ba'duhum
some of them
أَوۡلَىٰ
awla
(are) closer
بِبَعۡضٖ
biba'din
to another
فِي
fi
in
كِتَٰبِ
kitabi
(the) Decree
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
مِنَ
mina
than
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
al-mu'minina
the believers
وَٱلۡمُهَٰجِرِينَ
wal-muhajirina
and the emigrants
إِلَّآ
illa
except
أَن
an
that
تَفۡعَلُوٓاْ
taf 'alu
you do
إِلَىٰٓ
ila
to
أَوۡلِيَآئِكُم
awliyaikum
your friends
مَّعۡرُوفٗاۚ
ma'rufan
a kindness
كَانَ
kana
That is
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That is
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
al-kitabi
the Book
مَسۡطُورٗا
masturan
written
٦

33:7
وَإِذۡ
wa-idh
And when
أَخَذۡنَا
akhadhna
We took
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ
al-nabiyina
the Prophets
مِيثَٰقَهُمۡ
mithaqahum
their Covenant
وَمِنكَ
waminka
and from you
وَمِن
wamin
and from
نُّوحٖ
nuhin
Nuh
وَإِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
wa-ib'rahima
and Ibrahim
وَمُوسَىٰ
wamusa
and Musa
وَعِيسَى
wa'isa
and Isa
ٱبۡنِ
ib'ni
son
مَرۡيَمَۖ
maryama
(of) Maryam
وَأَخَذۡنَا
wa-akhadhna
And We took
مِنۡهُم
min'hum
from them
مِّيثَٰقًا
mithaqan
a covenant
غَلِيظٗا
ghalizan
strong
٧
33:8
لِّيَسۡـَٔلَ
liyasala
That He may ask
ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
al-sadiqina
the truthful
عَن
an
about
صِدۡقِهِمۡۚ
sid'qihim
their truth
وَأَعَدَّ
wa-a'adda
And He has prepared
لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
lil'kafirina
for the disbelievers
عَذَابًا
adhaban
a punishment
أَلِيمٗا
aliman
painful
٨
33:9
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
ٱذۡكُرُواْ
udh'kuru
Remember
نِعۡمَةَ
ni'mata
(the) Favor
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
alaykum
upon you
إِذۡ
idh
when
جَآءَتۡكُمۡ
jaatkum
came to you
جُنُودٞ
junudun
(the) hosts
فَأَرۡسَلۡنَا
fa-arsalna
and We sent
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
alayhim
upon them
رِيحٗا
rihan
a wind
وَجُنُودٗا
wajunudan
and hosts
لَّمۡ
lam
not
تَرَوۡهَاۚ
tarawha
you (could) see them
وَكَانَ
wakana
And Allah is
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
And Allah is
بِمَا
bima
of what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
ta'maluna
you do
بَصِيرًا
basiran
All-Seer
٩
33:10
إِذۡ
idh
When
جَآءُوكُم
jaukum
they came upon you
مِّن
min
from
فَوۡقِكُمۡ
fawqikum
above you
وَمِنۡ
wamin
and from
أَسۡفَلَ
asfala
below
مِنكُمۡ
minkum
you
وَإِذۡ
wa-idh
and when
زَاغَتِ
zaghati
grew wild
ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرُ
al-absaru
the eyes
وَبَلَغَتِ
wabalaghati
and reached
ٱلۡقُلُوبُ
al-qulubu
the hearts
ٱلۡحَنَاجِرَ
al-hanajira
the throats
وَتَظُنُّونَ
watazunnuna
and you assumed
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
about Allah
ٱلظُّنُونَا۠
al-zununa
the assumptions
١٠
33:11
هُنَالِكَ
hunalika
There
ٱبۡتُلِيَ
ub'tuliya
were tried
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
al-mu'minuna
the believers
وَزُلۡزِلُواْ
wazul'zilu
and shaken
زِلۡزَالٗا
zil'zalan
(with a) shake
شَدِيدٗا
shadidan
severe
١١
33:12
وَإِذۡ
wa-idh
And when
يَقُولُ
yaqulu
said
ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقُونَ
al-munafiquna
the hypocrites
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
and those
فِي
fi
in
قُلُوبِهِم
qulubihim
their hearts
مَّرَضٞ
maradun
(was) a disease
مَّا
ma
Not
وَعَدَنَا
wa'adana
Allah promised us
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah promised us
وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ
warasuluhu
and His messenger
إِلَّا
illa
except
غُرُورٗا
ghururan
delusion
١٢
33:13
وَإِذۡ
wa-idh
And when
قَالَت
qalat
said
طَّآئِفَةٞ
taifatun
a party
مِّنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
of them
يَٰٓأَهۡلَ
yaahla
O People
يَثۡرِبَ
yathriba
(of) Yathrib
لَا
la
No
مُقَامَ
muqama
stand
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
فَٱرۡجِعُواْۚ
fa-ir'ji'u
so return
وَيَسۡتَـٔۡذِنُ
wayastadhinu
And asked permission
فَرِيقٞ
fariqun
a group
مِّنۡهُمُ
min'humu
of them
ٱلنَّبِيَّ
al-nabiya
(from) the Prophet
يَقُولُونَ
yaquluna
saying
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
بُيُوتَنَا
buyutana
our houses
عَوۡرَةٞ
awratun
(are) exposed
وَمَا
wama
and not
هِيَ
hiya
they
بِعَوۡرَةٍۖ
bi'awratin
(were) exposed
إِن
in
Not
يُرِيدُونَ
yuriduna
they wished
إِلَّا
illa
but
فِرَارٗا
firaran
to flee
١٣
33:14
وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
دُخِلَتۡ
dukhilat
had been entered
عَلَيۡهِم
alayhim
upon them
مِّنۡ
min
from
أَقۡطَارِهَا
aqtariha
all its sides
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
سُئِلُواْ
su-ilu
they had been asked
ٱلۡفِتۡنَةَ
al-fit'nata
the treachery
لَأٓتَوۡهَا
laatawha
they (would) have certainly done it
وَمَا
wama
and not
تَلَبَّثُواْ
talabbathu
they (would) have hesitated
بِهَآ
biha
over it
إِلَّا
illa
except
يَسِيرٗا
yasiran
a little
١٤
33:15
وَلَقَدۡ
walaqad
And certainly
كَانُواْ
kanu
they had
عَٰهَدُواْ
ahadu
promised
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
مِن
min
before
قَبۡلُ
qablu
before
لَا
la
not
يُوَلُّونَ
yuwalluna
they would turn
ٱلۡأَدۡبَٰرَۚ
al-adbara
their backs
وَكَانَ
wakana
And is
عَهۡدُ
ahdu
(the) promise
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(to) Allah
مَسۡـُٔولٗا
masulan
to be questioned

قُل
qul
Say
لَّن
lan
Never
يَنفَعَكُمُ
yanfa'akumu
will benefit you
ٱلۡفِرَارُ
al-firaru
the fleeing
إِن
in
if
فَرَرۡتُم
farartum
you flee
مِّنَ
mina
from
ٱلۡمَوۡتِ
al-mawti
death
أَوِ
awi
or
ٱلۡقَتۡلِ
al-qatli
killing
وَإِذٗا
wa-idhan
and then
لَّا
la
not
تُمَتَّعُونَ
tumatta'una
you will be allowed to enjoy
إِلَّا
illa
except
قَلِيلٗا
qalilan
a little
١٦
33:17
قُلۡ
qul
Say
مَن
man
Who
ذَا
dha
(is) it that
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
(is) it that
يَعۡصِمُكُم
ya'simukum
(can) protect you
مِّنَ
mina
from
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
إِنۡ
in
If
أَرَادَ
arada
He intends
بِكُمۡ
bikum
for you
سُوٓءًا
suan
any harm
أَوۡ
aw
or
أَرَادَ
arada
He intends
بِكُمۡ
bikum
for you
رَحۡمَةٗۚ
rahmatan
a mercy
وَلَا
wala
And not
يَجِدُونَ
yajiduna
they will find
لَهُم
lahum
for them
مِّن
min
besides
دُونِ
duni
besides
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
وَلِيّٗا
waliyyan
any protector
وَلَا
wala
and not
نَصِيرٗا
nasiran
any helper
١٧
33:18
۞قَدۡ
qad
Verily
يَعۡلَمُ
ya'lamu
Allah knows
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah knows
ٱلۡمُعَوِّقِينَ
al-mu'awiqina
those who hinder
مِنكُمۡ
minkum
among you
وَٱلۡقَآئِلِينَ
wal-qailina
and those who say
لِإِخۡوَٰنِهِمۡ
li-ikh'wanihim
to their brothers
هَلُمَّ
halumma
Come
إِلَيۡنَاۖ
ilayna
to us
وَلَا
wala
and not
يَأۡتُونَ
yatuna
they come
ٱلۡبَأۡسَ
al-basa
(to) the battle
إِلَّا
illa
except
قَلِيلًا
qalilan
a few
١٨
33:19
أَشِحَّةً
ashihhatan
Miserly
عَلَيۡكُمۡۖ
alaykum
towards you
فَإِذَا
fa-idha
But when
جَآءَ
jaa
comes
ٱلۡخَوۡفُ
al-khawfu
the fear
رَأَيۡتَهُمۡ
ra-aytahum
you see them
يَنظُرُونَ
yanzuruna
looking
إِلَيۡكَ
ilayka
at you
تَدُورُ
taduru
revolving
أَعۡيُنُهُمۡ
a'yunuhum
their eyes
كَٱلَّذِي
ka-alladhi
like one who
يُغۡشَىٰ
yugh'sha
faints
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
faints
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱلۡمَوۡتِۖ
al-mawti
[the] death
فَإِذَا
fa-idha
But when
ذَهَبَ
dhahaba
departs
ٱلۡخَوۡفُ
al-khawfu
the fear
سَلَقُوكُم
salaqukum
they smite you
بِأَلۡسِنَةٍ
bi-alsinatin
with tongues
حِدَادٍ
hidadin
sharp
أَشِحَّةً
ashihhatan
miserly
عَلَى
ala
towards
ٱلۡخَيۡرِۚ
al-khayri
the good
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
لَمۡ
lam
not
يُؤۡمِنُواْ
yu'minu
they have believed
فَأَحۡبَطَ
fa-ahbata
so Allah made worthless
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
so Allah made worthless
أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡۚ
a'malahum
their deeds
وَكَانَ
wakana
And is
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
that
عَلَى
ala
for
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
يَسِيرٗا
yasiran
easy
١٩
33:20
يَحۡسَبُونَ
yahsabuna
They think
ٱلۡأَحۡزَابَ
al-ahzaba
the confederates
لَمۡ
lam
(have) not
يَذۡهَبُواْۖ
yadhhabu
withdrawn
وَإِن
wa-in
And if
يَأۡتِ
yati
(should) come
ٱلۡأَحۡزَابُ
al-ahzabu
the confederates
يَوَدُّواْ
yawaddu
they would wish
لَوۡ
law
if
أَنَّهُم
annahum
that they (were)
بَادُونَ
baduna
living in (the) desert
فِي
fi
among
ٱلۡأَعۡرَابِ
al-a'rabi
the Bedouins
يَسۡـَٔلُونَ
yasaluna
asking
عَنۡ
an
about
أَنۢبَآئِكُمۡۖ
anbaikum
your news
وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
كَانُواْ
kanu
they were
فِيكُم
fikum
among you
مَّا
ma
not
قَٰتَلُوٓاْ
qatalu
they would fight
إِلَّا
illa
except
قَلِيلٗا
qalilan
a little
٢٠
33:21
لَّقَدۡ
laqad
Certainly
كَانَ
kana
is
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
فِي
fi
in
رَسُولِ
rasuli
(the) Messenger
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
أُسۡوَةٌ
us'watun
an excellent example
حَسَنَةٞ
hasanatun
an excellent example
لِّمَن
liman
for (one) who
كَانَ
kana
has
يَرۡجُواْ
yarju
hope
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
(in) Allah
وَٱلۡيَوۡمَ
wal-yawma
and the Day
ٱلۡأٓخِرَ
al-akhira
the Last
وَذَكَرَ
wadhakara
and remembers
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
كَثِيرٗا
kathiran
much
٢١
33:22
وَلَمَّا
walamma
And when
رَءَا
raa
saw
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
al-mu'minuna
the believers
ٱلۡأَحۡزَابَ
al-ahzaba
the confederates
قَالُواْ
qalu
they said
هَٰذَا
hadha
This
مَا
ma
(is) what
وَعَدَنَا
wa'adana
Allah promised us
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah promised us
وَرَسُولُهُۥ
warasuluhu
and His Messenger
وَصَدَقَ
wasadaqa
and Allah spoke the truth
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
and Allah spoke the truth
وَرَسُولُهُۥۚ
warasuluhu
and His Messenger
وَمَا
wama
And not
زَادَهُمۡ
zadahum
it increased them
إِلَّآ
illa
except
إِيمَٰنٗا
imanan
(in) faith
وَتَسۡلِيمٗا
watasliman
and submission

33:23
مِّنَ
mina
Among
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
al-mu'minina
the believers
رِجَالٞ
rijalun
(are) men
صَدَقُواْ
sadaqu
(who) have been true
مَا
ma
(to) what
عَٰهَدُواْ
ahadu
they promised Allah
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
they promised Allah
عَلَيۡهِۖ
alayhi
[on it]
فَمِنۡهُم
famin'hum
And among them
مَّن
man
(is he) who
قَضَىٰ
qada
has fulfilled
نَحۡبَهُۥ
nahbahu
his vow
وَمِنۡهُم
wamin'hum
and among them
مَّن
man
(is he) who
يَنتَظِرُۖ
yantaziru
awaits
وَمَا
wama
And not
بَدَّلُواْ
baddalu
they alter
تَبۡدِيلٗا
tabdilan
(by) any alteration
٢٣
33:24
لِّيَجۡزِيَ
liyajziya
That Allah may reward
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
That Allah may reward
ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
al-sadiqina
the truthful
بِصِدۡقِهِمۡ
bisid'qihim
for their truth
وَيُعَذِّبَ
wayu'adhiba
and punish
ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ
al-munafiqina
the hypocrites
إِن
in
if
شَآءَ
shaa
He wills
أَوۡ
aw
or
يَتُوبَ
yatuba
turn in mercy
عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ
alayhim
to them
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
كَانَ
kana
is
غَفُورٗا
ghafuran
Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٗا
rahiman
Most Merciful
٢٤
33:25
وَرَدَّ
waradda
And Allah turned back
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
And Allah turned back
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieved
بِغَيۡظِهِمۡ
bighayzihim
in their rage
لَمۡ
lam
not
يَنَالُواْ
yanalu
they obtained
خَيۡرٗاۚ
khayran
any good
وَكَفَى
wakafa
And sufficient is
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
al-mu'minina
(for) the believers
ٱلۡقِتَالَۚ
al-qitala
(in) the battle
وَكَانَ
wakana
and Allah is
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
and Allah is
قَوِيًّا
qawiyyan
All-Strong
عَزِيزٗا
azizan
All-Mighty
٢٥
33:26
وَأَنزَلَ
wa-anzala
And He brought down
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ظَٰهَرُوهُم
zaharuhum
backed them
مِّنۡ
min
among
أَهۡلِ
ahli
(the) People
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
al-kitabi
(of) the Scripture
مِن
min
from
صَيَاصِيهِمۡ
sayasihim
their fortresses
وَقَذَفَ
waqadhafa
and cast
فِي
fi
into
قُلُوبِهِمُ
qulubihimu
their hearts
ٱلرُّعۡبَ
al-ru'ba
[the] terror
فَرِيقٗا
fariqan
a group
تَقۡتُلُونَ
taqtuluna
you killed
وَتَأۡسِرُونَ
watasiruna
and you took captive
فَرِيقٗا
fariqan
a group
٢٦
33:27
وَأَوۡرَثَكُمۡ
wa-awrathakum
And He caused you to inherit
أَرۡضَهُمۡ
ardahum
their land
وَدِيَٰرَهُمۡ
wadiyarahum
and their houses
وَأَمۡوَٰلَهُمۡ
wa-amwalahum
and their properties
وَأَرۡضٗا
wa-ardan
and a land
لَّمۡ
lam
not
تَطَـُٔوهَاۚ
tatauha
you (had) trodden
وَكَانَ
wakana
And Allah is
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
And Allah is
عَلَىٰ
ala
on
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
thing
قَدِيرٗا
qadiran
All-Powerful
٢٧
33:28
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O Prophet
ٱلنَّبِيُّ
al-nabiyu
O Prophet
قُل
qul
Say
لِّأَزۡوَٰجِكَ
li-azwajika
to your wives
إِن
in
If
كُنتُنَّ
kuntunna
you
تُرِدۡنَ
turid'na
desire
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ
al-hayata
the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
al-dun'ya
(of) the world
وَزِينَتَهَا
wazinataha
and its adornment
فَتَعَالَيۡنَ
fata'alayna
then come
أُمَتِّعۡكُنَّ
umatti'kunna
I will provide for you
وَأُسَرِّحۡكُنَّ
wa-usarrih'kunna
and release you
سَرَاحٗا
sarahan
(with) a release
جَمِيلٗا
jamilan
good
٢٨
33:29
وَإِن
wa-in
But if
كُنتُنَّ
kuntunna
you
تُرِدۡنَ
turid'na
desire
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ
warasulahu
and His Messenger
وَٱلدَّارَ
wal-dara
and the Home
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَ
al-akhirata
(of) the Hereafter
فَإِنَّ
fa-inna
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
أَعَدَّ
a'adda
has prepared
لِلۡمُحۡسِنَٰتِ
lil'muh'sinati
for the good-doers
مِنكُنَّ
minkunna
among you
أَجۡرًا
ajran
a reward
عَظِيمٗا
aziman
great
٢٩
33:30
يَٰنِسَآءَ
yanisaa
O wives
ٱلنَّبِيِّ
al-nabiyi
(of) the Prophet
مَن
man
Whoever
يَأۡتِ
yati
commits
مِنكُنَّ
minkunna
from you
بِفَٰحِشَةٖ
bifahishatin
immorality
مُّبَيِّنَةٖ
mubayyinatin
clear
يُضَٰعَفۡ
yuda'af
will be doubled
لَهَا
laha
for her
ٱلۡعَذَابُ
al-'adhabu
the punishment
ضِعۡفَيۡنِۚ
di'fayni
two fold
وَكَانَ
wakana
And that is
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
And that is
عَلَى
ala
for
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
يَسِيرٗا
yasiran
easy
٣٠

۞وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يَقۡنُتۡ
yaqnut
is obedient
مِنكُنَّ
minkunna
among you
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
to Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦ
warasulihi
and His Messenger
وَتَعۡمَلۡ
wata'mal
and does
صَٰلِحٗا
salihan
righteousness
نُّؤۡتِهَآ
nu'tiha
We will give her
أَجۡرَهَا
ajraha
her reward
مَرَّتَيۡنِ
marratayni
twice
وَأَعۡتَدۡنَا
wa-a'tadna
and We have prepared
لَهَا
laha
for her
رِزۡقٗا
riz'qan
a provision
كَرِيمٗا
kariman
noble
٣١
33:32
يَٰنِسَآءَ
yanisaa
O wives
ٱلنَّبِيِّ
al-nabiyi
(of) the Prophet
لَسۡتُنَّ
lastunna
You are not
كَأَحَدٖ
ka-ahadin
like anyone
مِّنَ
mina
among
ٱلنِّسَآءِ
al-nisai
the women
إِنِ
ini
If
ٱتَّقَيۡتُنَّۚ
ittaqaytunna
you fear (Allah)
فَلَا
fala
then (do) not
تَخۡضَعۡنَ
takhda'na
be soft
بِٱلۡقَوۡلِ
bil-qawli
in speech
فَيَطۡمَعَ
fayatma'a
lest should be moved with desire
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
he who
فِي
fi
in
قَلۡبِهِۦ
qalbihi
his heart
مَرَضٞ
maradun
(is) a disease
وَقُلۡنَ
waqul'na
but say
قَوۡلٗا
qawlan
a word
مَّعۡرُوفٗا
ma'rufan
appropriate
٣٢
33:33
وَقَرۡنَ
waqarna
And stay
فِي
fi
in
بُيُوتِكُنَّ
buyutikunna
your houses
وَلَا
wala
and (do) not
تَبَرَّجۡنَ
tabarrajna
display yourselves
تَبَرُّجَ
tabarruja
(as was the) display
ٱلۡجَٰهِلِيَّةِ
al-jahiliyati
(of the times of) ignorance
ٱلۡأُولَىٰۖ
al-ula
the former
وَأَقِمۡنَ
wa-aqim'na
And establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
al-salata
the prayer
وَءَاتِينَ
waatina
and give
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ
al-zakata
zakah
وَأَطِعۡنَ
wa-ati'na
and obey
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥٓۚ
warasulahu
and His Messenger
إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
يُرِيدُ
yuridu
Allah wishes
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah wishes
لِيُذۡهِبَ
liyudh'hiba
to remove
عَنكُمُ
ankumu
from you
ٱلرِّجۡسَ
al-rij'sa
the impurity
أَهۡلَ
ahla
(O) People
ٱلۡبَيۡتِ
al-bayti
(of) the House
وَيُطَهِّرَكُمۡ
wayutahhirakum
And to purify you
تَطۡهِيرٗا
tathiran
(with thorough) purification
٣٣
33:34
وَٱذۡكُرۡنَ
wa-udh'kur'na
And remember
مَا
ma
what
يُتۡلَىٰ
yut'la
is recited
فِي
fi
in
بُيُوتِكُنَّ
buyutikunna
your houses
مِنۡ
min
of
ءَايَٰتِ
ayati
(the) Verses
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَٱلۡحِكۡمَةِۚ
wal-hik'mati
and the wisdom
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
كَانَ
kana
is
لَطِيفًا
latifan
All-Subtle
خَبِيرًا
khabiran
All-Aware
٣٤
33:35
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ
al-mus'limina
the Muslim men
وَٱلۡمُسۡلِمَٰتِ
wal-mus'limati
and the Muslim women
وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
wal-mu'minina
and the believing men
وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ
wal-mu'minati
and the believing women
وَٱلۡقَٰنِتِينَ
wal-qanitina
and the obedient men
وَٱلۡقَٰنِتَٰتِ
wal-qanitati
and the obedient women
وَٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
wal-sadiqina
and the truthful men
وَٱلصَّٰدِقَٰتِ
wal-sadiqati
and the truthful women
وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ
wal-sabirina
and the patient men
وَٱلصَّٰبِرَٰتِ
wal-sabirati
and the patient women
وَٱلۡخَٰشِعِينَ
wal-khashi'ina
and the humble men
وَٱلۡخَٰشِعَٰتِ
wal-khashi'ati
and the humble women
وَٱلۡمُتَصَدِّقِينَ
wal-mutasadiqina
and the men who give charity
وَٱلۡمُتَصَدِّقَٰتِ
wal-mutasadiqati
and the women who give charity
وَٱلصَّٰٓئِمِينَ
wal-saimina
and the men who fast
وَٱلصَّٰٓئِمَٰتِ
wal-saimati
and the women who fast
وَٱلۡحَٰفِظِينَ
wal-hafizina
and the men who guard
فُرُوجَهُمۡ
furujahum
their chastity
وَٱلۡحَٰفِظَٰتِ
wal-hafizati
and the women who guard (it)
وَٱلذَّٰكِرِينَ
wal-dhakirina
and the men who remember
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
كَثِيرٗا
kathiran
much
وَٱلذَّٰكِرَٰتِ
wal-dhakirati
and the women who remember
أَعَدَّ
a'adda
Allah has prepared
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah has prepared
لَهُم
lahum
for them
مَّغۡفِرَةٗ
maghfiratan
forgiveness
وَأَجۡرًا
wa-ajran
and a reward
عَظِيمٗا
aziman
great
٣٥

33:36
وَمَا
wama
And not
كَانَ
kana
(it) is
لِمُؤۡمِنٖ
limu'minin
for a believing man
وَلَا
wala
and not
مُؤۡمِنَةٍ
mu'minatin
(for) a believing woman
إِذَا
idha
when
قَضَى
qada
Allah has decided
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah has decided
وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ
warasuluhu
and His Messenger
أَمۡرًا
amran
a matter
أَن
an
that
يَكُونَ
yakuna
(there) should be
لَهُمُ
lahumu
for them
ٱلۡخِيَرَةُ
al-khiyaratu
(any) choice
مِنۡ
min
about
أَمۡرِهِمۡۗ
amrihim
their affair
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يَعۡصِ
ya'si
disobeys
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ
warasulahu
and His Messenger
فَقَدۡ
faqad
certainly
ضَلَّ
dalla
he (has) strayed
ضَلَٰلٗا
dalalan
(into) error
مُّبِينٗا
mubinan
clear
٣٦
33:37
وَإِذۡ
wa-idh
And when
تَقُولُ
taqulu
you said
لِلَّذِيٓ
lilladhi
to the one
أَنۡعَمَ
an'ama
Allah bestowed favor
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah bestowed favor
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
on him
وَأَنۡعَمۡتَ
wa-an'amta
and you bestowed favor
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
on him
أَمۡسِكۡ
amsik
Keep
عَلَيۡكَ
alayka
to yourself
زَوۡجَكَ
zawjaka
your wife
وَٱتَّقِ
wa-ittaqi
and fear
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَتُخۡفِي
watukh'fi
But you concealed
فِي
fi
within
نَفۡسِكَ
nafsika
yourself
مَا
ma
what
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
مُبۡدِيهِ
mub'dihi
(was to) disclose
وَتَخۡشَى
watakhsha
And you fear
ٱلنَّاسَ
al-nasa
the people
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
while Allah
أَحَقُّ
ahaqqu
has more right
أَن
an
that
تَخۡشَىٰهُۖ
takhshahu
you (should) fear Him
فَلَمَّا
falamma
So when
قَضَىٰ
qada
ended
زَيۡدٞ
zaydun
Zaid
مِّنۡهَا
min'ha
from her
وَطَرٗا
wataran
necessary (formalities)
زَوَّجۡنَٰكَهَا
zawwajnakaha
We married her to you
لِكَيۡ
likay
so that
لَا
la
not
يَكُونَ
yakuna
there be
عَلَى
ala
on
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
al-mu'minina
the believers
حَرَجٞ
harajun
any discomfort
فِيٓ
fi
concerning
أَزۡوَٰجِ
azwaji
the wives
أَدۡعِيَآئِهِمۡ
ad'iyaihim
(of) their adopted sons
إِذَا
idha
when
قَضَوۡاْ
qadaw
they have ended
مِنۡهُنَّ
min'hunna
from them
وَطَرٗاۚ
wataran
necessary (formalities)
وَكَانَ
wakana
And is
أَمۡرُ
amru
(the) Command
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
مَفۡعُولٗا
maf'ulan
accomplished
٣٧
33:38
مَّا
ma
Not
كَانَ
kana
(there can) be
عَلَى
ala
upon
ٱلنَّبِيِّ
al-nabiyi
the Prophet
مِنۡ
min
any
حَرَجٖ
harajin
discomfort
فِيمَا
fima
in what
فَرَضَ
farada
Allah has imposed
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah has imposed
لَهُۥۖ
lahu
on him
سُنَّةَ
sunnata
(That is the) Way
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
فِي
fi
concerning
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
خَلَوۡاْ
khalaw
passed away
مِن
min
before
قَبۡلُۚ
qablu
before
وَكَانَ
wakana
And is
أَمۡرُ
amru
(the) Command
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
قَدَرٗا
qadaran
a decree
مَّقۡدُورًا
maqduran
destined
٣٨
33:39
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
Those who
يُبَلِّغُونَ
yuballighuna
convey
رِسَٰلَٰتِ
risalati
(the) Messages
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَيَخۡشَوۡنَهُۥ
wayakhshawnahu
and fear Him
وَلَا
wala
and (do) not
يَخۡشَوۡنَ
yakhshawna
fear
أَحَدًا
ahadan
anyone
إِلَّا
illa
except
ٱللَّهَۗ
al-laha
Allah
وَكَفَىٰ
wakafa
And sufficient is Allah
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
And sufficient is Allah
حَسِيبٗا
hasiban
(as) a Reckoner
٣٩
33:40
مَّا
ma
Not
كَانَ
kana
is
مُحَمَّدٌ
muhammadun
Muhammad
أَبَآ
aba
(the) father
أَحَدٖ
ahadin
(of) anyone
مِّن
min
of
رِّجَالِكُمۡ
rijalikum
your men
وَلَٰكِن
walakin
but
رَّسُولَ
rasula
(he is the) Messenger
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَخَاتَمَ
wakhatama
and Seal
ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَۗ
al-nabiyina
(of) the Prophets
وَكَانَ
wakana
And Allah is
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
And Allah is
بِكُلِّ
bikulli
of every
شَيۡءٍ
shayin
thing
عَلِيمٗا
aliman
All-Knower
٤٠
33:41
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
O you who believe
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
O you who believe
ٱذۡكُرُواْ
udh'kuru
Remember
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
ذِكۡرٗا
dhik'ran
(with) remembrance
كَثِيرٗا
kathiran
much
٤١
33:42
وَسَبِّحُوهُ
wasabbihuhu
And glorify Him
بُكۡرَةٗ
buk'ratan
morning
وَأَصِيلًا
wa-asilan
and evening
٤٢
33:43
هُوَ
huwa
He
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
(is) the One Who
يُصَلِّي
yusalli
sends His blessings
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
alaykum
upon you
وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتُهُۥ
wamalaikatuhu
and His Angels
لِيُخۡرِجَكُم
liyukh'rijakum
so that He may bring you out
مِّنَ
mina
from
ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ
al-zulumati
the darkness[es]
إِلَى
ila
to
ٱلنُّورِۚ
al-nuri
the light
وَكَانَ
wakana
And He is
بِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
bil-mu'minina
to the believers
رَحِيمٗا
rahiman
Merciful
٤٣

33:44
تَحِيَّتُهُمۡ
tahiyyatuhum
Their greetings
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(on the) Day
يَلۡقَوۡنَهُۥ
yalqawnahu
they will meet Him
سَلَٰمٞۚ
salamun
(will be) Peace
وَأَعَدَّ
wa-a'adda
and He has prepared
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
أَجۡرٗا
ajran
a reward
كَرِيمٗا
kariman
noble
٤٤
33:45
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O Prophet
ٱلنَّبِيُّ
al-nabiyu
O Prophet
إِنَّآ
inna
Indeed We
أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ
arsalnaka
have sent you
شَٰهِدٗا
shahidan
(as) a witness
وَمُبَشِّرٗا
wamubashiran
and a bearer of glad tidings
وَنَذِيرٗا
wanadhiran
and (as) a warner
٤٥
33:46
وَدَاعِيًا
wada'iyan
And as one who invites
إِلَى
ila
to
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
بِإِذۡنِهِۦ
bi-idh'nihi
by His permission
وَسِرَاجٗا
wasirajan
and (as) a lamp
مُّنِيرٗا
muniran
illuminating
٤٦
33:47
وَبَشِّرِ
wabashiri
And give glad tidings
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
al-mu'minina
(to) the believers
بِأَنَّ
bi-anna
that
لَهُم
lahum
for them
مِّنَ
mina
(is) from
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
فَضۡلٗا
fadlan
a Bounty
كَبِيرٗا
kabiran
great
٤٧
33:48
وَلَا
wala
And (do) not
تُطِعِ
tuti'i
obey
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
al-kafirina
the disbelievers
وَٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ
wal-munafiqina
and the hypocrites
وَدَعۡ
wada'
and disregard
أَذَىٰهُمۡ
adhahum
their harm
وَتَوَكَّلۡ
watawakkal
and put your trust
عَلَى
ala
in
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
Allah
وَكَفَىٰ
wakafa
And sufficient is Allah
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
And sufficient is Allah
وَكِيلٗا
wakilan
(as) a Trustee
٤٨
33:49
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
O you who believe
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
amanu
O you who believe
إِذَا
idha
When
نَكَحۡتُمُ
nakahtumu
you marry
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ
al-mu'minati
believing women
ثُمَّ
thumma
and then
طَلَّقۡتُمُوهُنَّ
tallaqtumuhunna
divorce them
مِن
min
before
قَبۡلِ
qabli
before
أَن
an
[that]
تَمَسُّوهُنَّ
tamassuhunna
you have touched them
فَمَا
fama
then not
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
عَلَيۡهِنَّ
alayhinna
on them
مِنۡ
min
any
عِدَّةٖ
iddatin
waiting period
تَعۡتَدُّونَهَاۖ
ta'taddunaha
(to) count concerning them
فَمَتِّعُوهُنَّ
famatti'uhunna
So provide for them
وَسَرِّحُوهُنَّ
wasarrihuhunna
and release them
سَرَاحٗا
sarahan
(with) a release
جَمِيلٗا
jamilan
good
٤٩
33:50
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O Prophet
ٱلنَّبِيُّ
al-nabiyu
O Prophet
إِنَّآ
inna
Indeed We
أَحۡلَلۡنَا
ahlalna
[We] have made lawful
لَكَ
laka
to you
أَزۡوَٰجَكَ
azwajaka
your wives
ٱلَّٰتِيٓ
allati
(to) whom
ءَاتَيۡتَ
atayta
you have given
أُجُورَهُنَّ
ujurahunna
their bridal money
وَمَا
wama
and whom
مَلَكَتۡ
malakat
you rightfully possess
يَمِينُكَ
yaminuka
you rightfully possess
مِمَّآ
mimma
from those (whom)
أَفَآءَ
afaa
Allah has given
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah has given
عَلَيۡكَ
alayka
to you
وَبَنَاتِ
wabanati
and (the) daughters
عَمِّكَ
ammika
(of) your paternal uncles
وَبَنَاتِ
wabanati
and (the) daughters
عَمَّٰتِكَ
ammatika
(of) your paternal aunts
وَبَنَاتِ
wabanati
and (the) daughters
خَالِكَ
khalika
(of) your maternal uncles
وَبَنَاتِ
wabanati
and (the) daughters
خَٰلَٰتِكَ
khalatika
(of) your maternal aunts
ٱلَّٰتِي
allati
who
هَاجَرۡنَ
hajarna
emigrated
مَعَكَ
ma'aka
with you
وَٱمۡرَأَةٗ
wa-im'ra-atan
and a woman
مُّؤۡمِنَةً
mu'minatan
believing
إِن
in
if
وَهَبَتۡ
wahabat
she gives
نَفۡسَهَا
nafsaha
herself
لِلنَّبِيِّ
lilnnabiyyi
to the Prophet
إِنۡ
in
if
أَرَادَ
arada
wishes
ٱلنَّبِيُّ
al-nabiyu
the Prophet
أَن
an
to
يَسۡتَنكِحَهَا
yastankihaha
marry her
خَالِصَةٗ
khalisatan
only
لَّكَ
laka
for you
مِن
min
excluding
دُونِ
duni
excluding
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَۗ
al-mu'minina
the believers
قَدۡ
qad
Certainly
عَلِمۡنَا
alim'na
We know
مَا
ma
what
فَرَضۡنَا
faradna
We have made obligatory
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
alayhim
upon them
فِيٓ
fi
concerning
أَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ
azwajihim
their wives
وَمَا
wama
and whom
مَلَكَتۡ
malakat
they rightfully possess
أَيۡمَٰنُهُمۡ
aymanuhum
they rightfully possess
لِكَيۡلَا
likayla
that not
يَكُونَ
yakuna
should be
عَلَيۡكَ
alayka
on you
حَرَجٞۗ
harajun
any discomfort
وَكَانَ
wakana
And Allah is
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
And Allah is
غَفُورٗا
ghafuran
Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٗا
rahiman
Most Merciful
٥٠
