ٱلۡغَنِيُّ

(is) Free of need
ٱلۡحَمِيدُ
Ḥameed.
the Praiseworthy

31:27
وَلَوۡ
Walaw
And if
أَنَّمَا
ʹannamaa-
whatever
فِي
fil
(is) in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
مِن
miñ
of
شَجَرَةٍ
shajaratin
(the) trees
أَقۡلَٰمٞ
ʹaq̣laamuñw
(were) pens
وَٱلۡبَحۡرُ
wal-baḥru
and the sea
يَمُدُّهُۥ
yamudduhoo
(to) add to it
مِنۢ
mim
after it
بَعۡدِهِۦ
baʻdihee
after it
سَبۡعَةُ
sabʻatu
seven
أَبۡحُرٖ
ʹabḥurim
seas
مَّا
maa
not
نَفِدَتۡ
nafidat
would be exhausted
كَلِمَٰتُ
Kalimaatul
(the) Words
ٱللَّهِۚ
laah:
(of) Allah
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
عَزِيزٌ
ʻAzeezun
(is) All-Mighty
حَكِيمٞ
Ḥakeem.
All-Wise

31:28
مَّا
Maa-
Not
خَلۡقُكُمۡ
khalq̣ukum
(is) your creation
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
بَعۡثُكُمۡ
baʻs̤ukum
your resurrection
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
but
كَنَفۡسٖ
kanafsiñw
as a soul
وَٰحِدَةٍۚ
waaḥidah:
single
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
سَمِيعُۢ
Sameeʻum
(is) All-Hearer
بَصِيرٌ
Baṣeer.
All-Seer

أَلَمۡ
ʹAlam
Do not
تَرَ
tara
you see
أَنَّ
ʹannal
that
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
يُولِجُ
yoolijul
causes to enter
ٱلَّيۡلَ
layla
the night
فِي
fin
into
ٱلنَّهَارِ
nahaari
the day
وَيُولِجُ
wa-yoolijun
and causes to enter
ٱلنَّهَارَ
nahaara
the day
فِي
fil
into
ٱلَّيۡلِ
layli
the night
وَسَخَّرَ
wa-sakhkharash
and has subjected
ٱلشَّمۡسَ
shamsa
the sun
وَٱلۡقَمَرَۖ
wal-q̣amar:
and the moon
كُلّٞ
kulluñy
each
يَجۡرِيٓ
yajreee
moving
إِلَىٰٓ
ʹilaaa
for
أَجَلٖ
ʹajalim
a term
مُّسَمّٗى
musammañw
appointed
وَأَنَّ
waʹannal
and that
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
بِمَا
bimaa
of what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
taʻmaloona
you do
خَبِيرٞ
khabeer?
(is) All-Aware
٢٩
31:30
ذَٰلِكَ
Ẓaalika
That
بِأَنَّ
biʹannal
(is) because
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
هُوَ
Huwal
He
ٱلۡحَقُّ
Ḥaq̣q̣u
(is) the Truth
وَأَنَّ
waʹanna
and that
مَا
maa-
what
يَدۡعُونَ
yadʻoona
they call
مِن
miñ
besides Him
دُونِهِ
doonihil
besides Him
ٱلۡبَٰطِلُ
Baaṭilu
(is) [the] falsehood
وَأَنَّ
wa-ʹannal
and that
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
هُوَ
Huwal
He
ٱلۡعَلِيُّ
ʻAliyyul
(is) the Most High
ٱلۡكَبِيرُ
Kabeer.
the Most Great

31:31
أَلَمۡ
ʹAlam
Do not
تَرَ
tara
you see
أَنَّ
ʹannal
that
ٱلۡفُلۡكَ
fulka
the ships
تَجۡرِي
tajree
sail
فِي
fil
through
ٱلۡبَحۡرِ
baḥri
the sea
بِنِعۡمَتِ
biniʻmatil
by (the) Grace
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
لِيُرِيَكُم
liyuriyakum
that He may show you
مِّنۡ
min
of
ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓۚ
ʹAayaatih?
His Signs
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
فِي
fee
in
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
لَأٓيَٰتٖ
laʹAayaatil
surely (are) Signs
لِّكُلِّ
likulli
for everyone
صَبَّارٖ
ṣabbaariñ
(who is) patient
شَكُورٖ
shakoor.
grateful
٣١
31:32
وَإِذَا
Wa-ʹiẓaa
And when
غَشِيَهُم
g̣ashiyahum
covers them
مَّوۡجٞ
mawjuñ
a wave
كَٱلظُّلَلِ
kaz̤̣z̤̣ulali
like canopies
دَعَوُاْ
daʻawul
they call
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
مُخۡلِصِينَ
Mukhliṣeena
(being) sincere
لَهُ
lahud
to Him
ٱلدِّينَ
deen.
(in) religion
فَلَمَّا
Falammaa
But when
نَجَّىٰهُمۡ
najjaahum
He delivers them
إِلَى
ʹilal
to
ٱلۡبَرِّ
barri
the land
فَمِنۡهُم
faminhum
then among them
مُّقۡتَصِدٞۚ
muq̣taṣid.
(some are) moderate
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
يَجۡحَدُ
yajḥadu
deny
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ
biʹAayaatinaaa
Our Signs
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
كُلُّ
kullu
every
خَتَّارٖ
khattariñ
traitor
كَفُورٖ
kafoor!
ungrateful
٣٢
31:33
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhan
O
ٱلنَّاسُ
naasut
mankind
ٱتَّقُواْ
taq̣oo
Fear
رَبَّكُمۡ
Rabbakum
your Lord
وَٱخۡشَوۡاْ
wakhshaw
and fear
يَوۡمٗا
yawmal
a Day
لَّا
laa
not
يَجۡزِي
yajzee
can avail
وَالِدٌ
waalidun
a father
عَن
ʻañw
[for]
وَلَدِهِۦ
waladihee
his son
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
مَوۡلُودٌ
mawloodun
a son
هُوَ
huwa
he
جَازٍ
jaazin
(can) avail
عَن
ʻañw
[for]
وَالِدِهِۦ
waalidihee
his father
شَيۡـًٔاۚ
shayʹaa.
anything
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
وَعۡدَ
waʻdal
(the) Promise
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
حَقّٞۖ
ḥaq̣q̣uñ
(is) True
فَلَا
falaa
so let not deceive you
تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ
tag̣urrannakumul
so let not deceive you
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ
ḥayaatud
the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
dunyaa:
(of) the world
وَلَا
wa-laa
and let not deceive you
يَغُرَّنَّكُم
yag̣urrannakum̃
and let not deceive you
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahil
about Allah
ٱلۡغَرُورُ
G̣aroor.
the deceiver
٣٣
31:34
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
عِندَهُۥ
ʻiñdahoo
with Him
عِلۡمُ
ʻilmus
(is the) knowledge
ٱلسَّاعَةِ
Saaʻah.
(of) the Hour
وَيُنَزِّلُ
Wa-yunazzilul
and He sends down
ٱلۡغَيۡثَ
g̣ays̤a
the rain
وَيَعۡلَمُ
wayaʻlamu
and knows
مَا
maa-
what
فِي
fil
(is) in
ٱلۡأَرۡحَامِۖ
ʹarḥaam.
the wombs
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
تَدۡرِي
tadree
knows
نَفۡسٞ
nafsum
any soul
مَّاذَا
maaẓaa
what
تَكۡسِبُ
taksibu
it will earn
غَدٗاۖ
g̣adaa:
tomorrow
وَمَا
wamaa
and not
تَدۡرِي
tadree
knows
نَفۡسُۢ
nafsum
any soul
بِأَيِّ
biʹayyi
in what
أَرۡضٖ
ʹarḍiñ
land
تَمُوتُۚ
tamoot.
it will die
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
عَلِيمٌ
ʻAleemun
(is) All-Knower
خَبِيرُۢ
khabeer.
All-Aware
