مَنۡ

أَوۡفَىٰ
ʹawfaa
fulfills
بِعَهۡدِهِۦ
biʻahdihee
his covenant
وَٱتَّقَىٰ
wattaq̣aa
and fears (Allah)
فَإِنَّ
faʹinnal
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
يُحِبُّ
yuḥibbul
loves
ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ
Muttaq̣een.
those who fear (Him)
٧٦
3:77
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
يَشۡتَرُونَ
yashtaroona
exchange
بِعَهۡدِ
biʻahdil
(the) Covenant
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
وَأَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ
waʹaymaanihim
and their oaths
ثَمَنٗا
s̤amanañ
(for) a price
قَلِيلًا
q̣aleelan
little
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹulaaaʹika
those
لَا
laa-
no
خَلَٰقَ
khalaaq̣a
share
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ
ʹAakhirati
the Hereafter
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
يُكَلِّمُهُمُ
yukalimuhumul
will speak to them
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
يَنظُرُ
yañz̤̣ura
look
إِلَيۡهِمۡ
ʹilayhim
at them
يَوۡمَ
Yawmal
(on the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
Q̣iyaamati
(of) the Resurrection
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
يُزَكِّيهِمۡ
yuzakkeehim:
purify them
وَلَهُمۡ
wa-lahum
and for them
عَذَابٌ
ʻaẓaabun
(is) a punishment
أَلِيمٞ
ʹaleem.
painful

3:78
وَإِنَّ
Waʹinna
And indeed
مِنۡهُمۡ
minhum
among them
لَفَرِيقٗا
lafareeq̣añy
surely (is) a group
يَلۡوُۥنَ
yalwoona
they distort
أَلۡسِنَتَهُم
ʹalsinatahum̃
their tongues
بِٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
bil-Kitaabi
in (reciting) the Book
لِتَحۡسَبُوهُ
litaḥsaboohu
so that you may think it
مِنَ
minal
(is) from
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
Kitaabi
the Book
وَمَا
wa-maa
and not
هُوَ
huwa
it
مِنَ
minal
(is) from
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
Kitaab.
the Book
وَيَقُولُونَ
Wa-yaq̣ooloona
And they say
هُوَ
huwa
It
مِنۡ
miñ
(is)
عِندِ
ʻiñdil
from
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
وَمَا
wa-maa
But not
هُوَ
huwa
it
مِنۡ
min
(is)
عِندِ
ʻiñdil
from
ٱللَّهِۖ
laah:
Allah
وَيَقُولُونَ
wa-yaq̣ooloona
And they say
عَلَى
ʻalal
about
ٱللَّهِ
laaheel
Allah
ٱلۡكَذِبَ
kaẓiba
the lie
وَهُمۡ
wa-hum
while they
يَعۡلَمُونَ
yaʻlamoon.
know
٧٨
3:79
مَا
Maa-
Not
كَانَ
kaana
is
لِبَشَرٍ
libasharin
for a human
أَن
ʹañy
that
يُؤۡتِيَهُ
yuʹtiyahul
gives him
ٱللَّهُ
laahul
Allah
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
Kitaaba
the Book
وَٱلۡحُكۡمَ
wal-Ḥukma
and the wisdom
وَٱلنُّبُوَّةَ
wan-Nubuwwata
and the Prophethood
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
يَقُولَ
yaq̣oola
he says
لِلنَّاسِ
linnaasi
to the people
كُونُواْ
koonoo
Be
عِبَادٗا
ʻibaadal
worshippers
لِّي
lee
of me
مِن
miñ
from
دُونِ
doonil
besides
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
وَلَٰكِن
wa-laakiñ
but (would say)
كُونُواْ
koonoo
Be
رَبَّٰنِيِّـۧنَ
Rabbaaniyyeena
worshippers of the Lord
بِمَا
bimaa
because
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you have been
تُعَلِّمُونَ
tuʻallimoonal
teaching
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
Kitaaba
the Book
وَبِمَا
wa-bimaa
and because
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you have been
تَدۡرُسُونَ
tadrusoon.
studying (it)
٧٩
3:80
وَلَا
Wa-laa
And not
يَأۡمُرَكُمۡ
yaʹmurakum
he will order you
أَن
ʻañ
that
تَتَّخِذُواْ
tat-takhiẓul
you take
ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ
malaaaʹikata
the Angels
وَٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ
wan-nabiyyeena
and the Prophets
أَرۡبَابًاۚ
ʹarbaabaa.
(as) lords
أَيَأۡمُرُكُم
ʹAyaʹmurukum̃
Would he order you
بِٱلۡكُفۡرِ
bilkufri
to [the] disbelief
بَعۡدَ
baʻda
after
إِذۡ
ʹiẓ
[when]
أَنتُم
ʹañtum
you (have become)
مُّسۡلِمُونَ
Muslimoon?
Muslims
٨٠
3:81
وَإِذۡ
Waʹiẓ
And when
أَخَذَ
ʹakhaẓal
took
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
مِيثَٰقَ
Mees̤aaq̣an
covenant
ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ
Nabiyyeena
(of) the Prophets
لَمَآ
lamaaa
Certainly whatever
ءَاتَيۡتُكُم
ʹaataytukum
I (have) given you
مِّن
miñ
of
كِتَٰبٖ
Kitaabiñw
(the) Book
وَحِكۡمَةٖ
wa-Ḥikmatiñ
and wisdom
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
جَآءَكُمۡ
jaaaʹakum
comes to you
رَسُولٞ
Rasoolum
a Messenger
مُّصَدِّقٞ
Muṣaddiq̣ul
confirming
لِّمَا
limaa
that which
مَعَكُمۡ
maʻakum
(is) with you
لَتُؤۡمِنُنَّ
latuʹminunna
you must believe
بِهِۦ
bihee
in him
وَلَتَنصُرُنَّهُۥۚ
wala-tañ-ṣuroonah.
and you must help him
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
ءَأَقۡرَرۡتُمۡ
ʹaʹaq̣rartum
Do you affirm
وَأَخَذۡتُمۡ
waʹakhaẓtum
and take
عَلَىٰ
ʹalaa
on
ذَٰلِكُمۡ
ẓaalikum
that (condition)
إِصۡرِيۖ
ʹIṣree?
My Covenant
قَالُوٓاْ
Q̣aalooo
They said
أَقۡرَرۡنَاۚ
ʹaq̣rarnaa.
We affirm
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
فَٱشۡهَدُواْ
fashhadoo
Then bear witness
وَأَنَا۠
waʹana
and I (am)
مَعَكُم
maʻkum
with you
مِّنَ
minash
among
ٱلشَّٰهِدِينَ
Shaahideen.
the witnesses
٨١
3:82
فَمَن
Famañ
Then whoever
تَوَلَّىٰ
tawallaa
turns away
بَعۡدَ
baʻda
after
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
faʹulaaaʹika
then those
هُمُ
humul
they
ٱلۡفَٰسِقُونَ
faasiq̣oon.
(are) the defiantly disobedient
٨٢
3:83
أَفَغَيۡرَ
ʹAfag̣ayra
So is (it) other than
دِينِ
Deenil
(the) religion
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
يَبۡغُونَ
yab-g̣oona
they seek
وَلَهُۥٓ
wa-lahooo
While to Him
أَسۡلَمَ
ʹaslama
(have) submitted
مَن
mañ
whatever
فِي
fis
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
wal-ʹarḍi
and the earth
طَوۡعٗا
ṭawʻañw
willingly
وَكَرۡهٗا
wa karhañw
or unwillingly
وَإِلَيۡهِ
waʹilayhi
and towards Him
يُرۡجَعُونَ
yurjaʻoon?
they will be returned
٨٣

3:84
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
ءَامَنَّا
ʹaamannaa
We believed
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
in Allah
وَمَآ
wa-maa
and what
أُنزِلَ
ʹuñzila
(is) revealed
عَلَيۡنَا
ʻalaynaa
on us
وَمَآ
wa-maaa
and what
أُنزِلَ
ʹuñẓila
was revealed
عَلَىٰٓ
ʻalaaa
on
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
ʹIbraaheema
Ibrahim
وَإِسۡمَٰعِيلَ
waʹIsmaaʻeela
and Ishmael
وَإِسۡحَٰقَ
waʹIsḥaaq̣a
and Isaac
وَيَعۡقُوبَ
wa-Yaʻq̣ooba
and Yaqub
وَٱلۡأَسۡبَاطِ
wal-ʹAsbaaṭi
and the descendents
وَمَآ
wa-maaa
and what
أُوتِيَ
ʹootiya
was given
مُوسَىٰ
Moosaaa
(to) Musa
وَعِيسَىٰ
waʻEesaa
and Isa
وَٱلنَّبِيُّونَ
wan-nabiyyoona
and the Prophets
مِن
mir
from
رَّبِّهِمۡ
Rabbihim.
their Lord
لَا
Laa-
Not
نُفَرِّقُ
nufarriq̣u
we make distinction
بَيۡنَ
bayna
between
أَحَدٖ
ʹaḥadim
any
مِّنۡهُمۡ
minhum,
of them
وَنَحۡنُ
wa-naḥnu
and we
لَهُۥ
lahoo
to Him
مُسۡلِمُونَ
Muslimoon.
(are) submissive
٨٤
3:85
وَمَن
Wa-mañy
And whoever
يَبۡتَغِ
yabtag̣i
seeks
غَيۡرَ
g̣ayral
other than
ٱلۡإِسۡلَٰمِ
ʹIslaami
[the] Islam
دِينٗا
Deenañ
(as) religion
فَلَن
falañy
then never
يُقۡبَلَ
yuq̣bala
will be accepted
مِنۡهُ
minh;
from him
وَهُوَ
wa-huwa
and he
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ
ʹAakhirati
the Hereafter
مِنَ
minal
(will be) from
ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ
khaasireen.
the losers
٨٥
3:86
كَيۡفَ
Kayfa
How
يَهۡدِي
yahdil
(shall) guide
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
قَوۡمٗا
q̣awmañ
a people
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
(who) disbelieved
بَعۡدَ
baʻda
after
إِيمَٰنِهِمۡ
ʹeemaanihim
their belief
وَشَهِدُوٓاْ
wa-shahidooo
and (had) witnessed
أَنَّ
ʹannar
that
ٱلرَّسُولَ
Rasoola
the Messenger
حَقّٞ
ḥaq̣q̣uñw
(is) true
وَجَآءَهُمُ
wajaaaʹahumul
and came to them
ٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتُۚ
Bayyinaat?
the clear proofs
وَٱللَّهُ
Wal-laahu
And Allah
لَا
laa-
(does) not
يَهۡدِي
yahdil
guide
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ
q̣awmaz̤̣
the people
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
z̤̣aalimeen.
[the] wrongdoers
٨٦
3:87
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹUlaaʹika
Those
جَزَآؤُهُمۡ
jazaaaʹuhum
their recompense
أَنَّ
ʹanna
that
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
on them
لَعۡنَةَ
laʻnatal
(is the) curse
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ
walmalaaaʹikati
and the Angels
وَٱلنَّاسِ
wannaasi
and the people
أَجۡمَعِينَ
ʹajmaʻeen;
all together
٨٧
3:88
خَٰلِدِينَ
Khaalideena
(They will) abide forever
فِيهَا
feehaa;
in it
لَا
laa-
Not
يُخَفَّفُ
yukhaffafu
will be lightened
عَنۡهُمُ
ʻanhumul
for them
ٱلۡعَذَابُ
ʻaẓaabu
the punishment
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
هُمۡ
hum
they
يُنظَرُونَ
yuñz̤̣aroon;
will be reprieved
٨٨
3:89
إِلَّا
ʹIllal
Except
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
تَابُواْ
taaboo
repent
مِنۢ
mim
from
بَعۡدِ
baʻdi
after
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
وَأَصۡلَحُواْ
wa-ʹaṣlaḥoo;
and reform[ed] themselves
فَإِنَّ
faʹinnal
Then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
غَفُورٞ
G̣afoorur
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٌ
Raḥeem.
Most Merciful
٨٩
3:90
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieved
بَعۡدَ
baʻda
after
إِيمَٰنِهِمۡ
ʹeemaanihim
their belief
ثُمَّ
s̤ummaz
then
ٱزۡدَادُواْ
daadoo
they increased
كُفۡرٗا
kufral
(in) disbelief
لَّن
lañ
never
تُقۡبَلَ
tuq̣bala
will be accepted
تَوۡبَتُهُمۡ
tawbatuhum;
their repentance
وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
wa-ʹulaaaʹika
and those
هُمُ
humuḍ
they
ٱلضَّآلُّونَ
ḍaaalloon.
(are) those who have gone astray
٩٠
3:91
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieve[d]
وَمَاتُواْ
wa-maatoo
and died
وَهُمۡ
wa-hum
while they
كُفَّارٞ
kuffaaruñ
(are) disbelievers
فَلَن
falañy
then never
يُقۡبَلَ
yuq̣bala
will be accepted
مِنۡ
min
from
أَحَدِهِم
ʹaḥadihim
any one of them
مِّلۡءُ
milʹul
full
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
earth
ذَهَبٗا
ẓahabañw
(of) gold
وَلَوِ
walawif
[and] (even) if
ٱفۡتَدَىٰ
tadaa
he offered as ransom
بِهِۦٓۗ
bih.
it
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹUlaaaʹika
Those
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
عَذَابٌ
ʻaẓaabun
(is) a punishment
أَلِيمٞ
ʹaleemuñw
painful
وَمَا
Wamaa
and not
لَهُم
lahum
(will be) for them
مِّن
min
any
نَّٰصِرِينَ
naaṣireen.
helpers
٩١

3:92
لَن
Lañ
Never
تَنَالُواْ
tanaalul
will you attain
ٱلۡبِرَّ
birra
[the] righteousness
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
تُنفِقُواْ
tuñfiq̣oo
you spend
مِمَّا
mimmaa
from what
تُحِبُّونَۚ
tuḥibboon.
you love
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And whatever
تُنفِقُواْ
tuñfiq̣oo
you spend
مِن
miñ
of
شَيۡءٖ
shayʹiñ
a thing
فَإِنَّ
faʹinnal
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
بِهِۦ
bihee
of it
عَلِيمٞ
ʻAleem.
(is) All-Knowing
٩٢
3:93
۞كُلُّ
Kulluṭ
All
ٱلطَّعَامِ
ṭaʻaami
[the] food
كَانَ
kaana
was
حِلّٗا
ḥillal
lawful
لِّبَنِيٓ
li-Baneee
for (the) Children
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
ʹIsraaaʹeela
(of) Israel
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
مَا
maa-
what
حَرَّمَ
ḥarrama
made unlawful
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلُ
ʹIsraaaʹeelu
Israel
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
upon
نَفۡسِهِۦ
nafsihee
himself
مِن
miñ
from
قَبۡلِ
q̣abli
before
أَن
ʹañ
[that]
تُنَزَّلَ
tunazzalat
(was) revealed
ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةُۚ
Tawraah.
the Taurat
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
فَأۡتُواْ
faʹtoo
So bring
بِٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِ
bit-Tawraati
the Taurat
فَٱتۡلُوهَآ
fatloohaaa
and recite it
إِن
ʹiñ
if
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you are
صَٰدِقِينَ
ṣaadiq̣een.
truthful
٩٣
3:94
فَمَنِ
Famanif
Then whoever
ٱفۡتَرَىٰ
taraa
fabricates
عَلَى
ʻalal
about
ٱللَّهِ
laahil
Allah
ٱلۡكَذِبَ
kaẓiba
[the] lie
مِنۢ
mim
from
بَعۡدِ
baʻdi
after
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
faʹulaaaʹika
then those
هُمُ
humuz̤̣
they
ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
z̤̣aalimoon.
(are) the wrongdoers
٩٤
3:95
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
صَدَقَ
ṣadaq̣al
(has) spoken the truth
ٱللَّهُۗ
laah:
Allah
فَٱتَّبِعُواْ
fattabiʻoo
then follow
مِلَّةَ
Millata
(the) religion
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
ʹIbraaheema
(of) Ibrahim
حَنِيفٗاۖ
ḥaneefaa;
(the) upright
وَمَا
wa-maa
and not
كَانَ
kaana
he was
مِنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ
mushrikeen.
the polytheists
٩٥
3:96
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
أَوَّلَ
ʹAwwala
(the) First
بَيۡتٖ
Baytiñw
House
وُضِعَ
wuḍiʻa
set up
لِلنَّاسِ
linnaasi
for the mankind
لَلَّذِي
lallaḍee
(is) the one which
بِبَكَّةَ
bi-Bakkata
(is) at Bakkah
مُبَارَكٗا
mubaarakañw
blessed
وَهُدٗى
wahudal
and a guidance
لِّلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
lil-ʻaalameen:
for the worlds
٩٦
3:97
فِيهِ
Feehi
In it
ءَايَٰتُۢ
ʹAayaatum
(are) signs
بَيِّنَٰتٞ
Bayyinaatum
clear
مَّقَامُ
Maq̣aamu
standing place
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَۖ
ʹIbraaheema;
(of) Ibrahim
وَمَن
wa-mañ
and whoever
دَخَلَهُۥ
dakhalahoo
enters it
كَانَ
kaana
is
ءَامِنٗاۗ
ʹaaminaa.
safe
وَلِلَّهِ
Wa-lillaahi
And (due) to Allah
عَلَى
ʻalan
upon
ٱلنَّاسِ
naasi
the mankind
حِجُّ
Ḥijjul
(is) pilgrimage
ٱلۡبَيۡتِ
Bayti
(of) the House
مَنِ
manis
(for one) who
ٱسۡتَطَاعَ
taṭaaʻa
is able
إِلَيۡهِ
ʹilayhi
to [it]
سَبِيلٗاۚ
sabeelaa.
(find) a way
وَمَن
Wa-mañ
And whoever
كَفَرَ
kafara
disbelieved
فَإِنَّ
faʹinnal
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
غَنِيٌّ
G̣aniyyun
(is) free from need
عَنِ
ʻanil
of
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
ʻaalameen.
the universe
٩٧
3:98
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
يَٰٓأَهۡلَ
yaaaʹAhlal
O People
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
Kitaabi
(of) the Book
لِمَ
lima
Why
تَكۡفُرُونَ
takfuroona
(do) you disbelieve
بِـَٔايَٰتِ
biʹAayaatil
in (the) Verses
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
while Allah
شَهِيدٌ
Shaheedun
(is) a Witness
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
over
مَا
maa-
what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
taʻmaloon?
you do
٩٨
3:99
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
يَٰٓأَهۡلَ
yaaaʹAhlal
O People
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
Kitaabi
(of) the Book
لِمَ
lima
Why
تَصُدُّونَ
taṣuddoona
(do) you hinder
عَن
ʻañ
from
سَبِيلِ
Sabeelil
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
مَنۡ
man
(those) who
ءَامَنَ
ʹaamana
believe[d]
تَبۡغُونَهَا
tab-g̣oo-nahaa
seeking (to make) it
عِوَجٗا
ʻiwajañw
(seem) crooked
وَأَنتُمۡ
waʹañtum
while you
شُهَدَآءُۗ
shuhadaaaʹ?
(are) witnesses
وَمَا
Wa-mal
And not
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
بِغَٰفِلٍ
big̣aafilin
(is) unaware
عَمَّا
ʻammaa
of what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
taʻmaloon.
you do
٩٩
3:100
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhal
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
who
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
ʹaamanooo
believe[d]
إِن
ʹiñ
If
تُطِيعُواْ
tuṭeeʻoo
you obey
فَرِيقٗا
fareeq̣am
a group
مِّنَ
minal
from
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
أُوتُواْ
ʹootul
were given
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
Kitaaba
the Book
يَرُدُّوكُم
yaruddookum̃
they will turn you back
بَعۡدَ
baʻda
after
إِيمَٰنِكُمۡ
ʹeemaanikum
your belief
كَٰفِرِينَ
kaafireen.
(as) disbelievers
١٠٠
