3:51إِنَّinnaIndeedٱللَّهَal-lahaAllahرَبِّيrabbi(is) my Lordوَرَبُّكُمۡwarabbukumand your Lordفَٱعۡبُدُوهُۚfa-u'buduhuso worship HimهَٰذَاhadhaThisصِرَٰطٞsiratun(is) the pathمُّسۡتَقِيمٞmus'taqimunstraight٥١
3:52۞فَلَمَّآfalammaThen whenأَحَسَّahassaperceivedعِيسَىٰisaIsaمِنۡهُمُmin'humufrom themٱلۡكُفۡرَal-kuf'ra[the] disbeliefقَالَqalahe saidمَنۡmanWhoأَنصَارِيٓansari(will be) my helpersإِلَىilatoٱللَّهِۖal-lahiAllahقَالَqalaSaidٱلۡحَوَارِيُّونَal-hawariyunathe disciplesنَحۡنُnahnuWeأَنصَارُansaru(will be the) helpersٱللَّهِal-lahi(of) Allahءَامَنَّاamannawe believe[d]بِٱللَّهِbil-lahiin Allahوَٱشۡهَدۡwa-ish'hadand bear witnessبِأَنَّاbi-annathat weمُسۡلِمُونَmus'limuna(are) Muslims٥٢
3:53رَبَّنَآrabbanaOur Lordءَامَنَّاamannawe believe[d]بِمَآbimain whatأَنزَلۡتَanzaltaYou revealedوَٱتَّبَعۡنَاwa-ittaba'naand we follow[ed]ٱلرَّسُولَal-rasulathe Messengerفَٱكۡتُبۡنَاfa-uk'tub'nathen write usمَعَma'aamongٱلشَّٰهِدِينَal-shahidinathe witnesses٥٣
3:54وَمَكَرُواْwamakaruAnd they schemedوَمَكَرَwamakaraand plannedٱللَّهُۖal-lahuAllahوَٱللَّهُwal-lahuAnd Allahخَيۡرُkhayru(is the) bestٱلۡمَٰكِرِينَal-makirina(of) the planners٥٤
3:55إِذۡidhWhenقَالَqalasaidٱللَّهُal-lahuAllahيَٰعِيسَىٰٓya'isaO IsaإِنِّيinniIndeed Iمُتَوَفِّيكَmutawaffika(will) take youوَرَافِعُكَwarafi'ukaand raise youإِلَيَّilayyato Myselfوَمُطَهِّرُكَwamutahhirukaand purify youمِنَminafromٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoكَفَرُواْkafarudisbelieve[d]وَجَاعِلُwaja'iluand I will makeٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoٱتَّبَعُوكَittaba'ukafollow[ed] youفَوۡقَfawqasuperiorٱلَّذِينَalladhina(to) those whoكَفَرُوٓاْkafarudisbelieve[d]إِلَىٰilaonيَوۡمِyawmi(the) Dayٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۖal-qiyamati(of) [the] ResurrectionثُمَّthummaThenإِلَيَّilayyato Meمَرۡجِعُكُمۡmarji'ukum(is) your returnفَأَحۡكُمُfa-ahkumuand I will judgeبَيۡنَكُمۡbaynakumbetween youفِيمَاfimaabout whatكُنتُمۡkuntumyou wereفِيهِfihi[in it]تَخۡتَلِفُونَtakhtalifunadiffering٥٥
3:56فَأَمَّاfa-ammaThen as forٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoكَفَرُواْkafarudisbelieve[d]فَأُعَذِّبُهُمۡfa-u'adhibuhumthen I will punish themعَذَابٗاadhaban(with) a punishmentشَدِيدٗاshadidansevereفِيfiinٱلدُّنۡيَاal-dun'yathe worldوَٱلۡأٓخِرَةِwal-akhiratiand (in) the HereafterوَمَاwamaAnd notلَهُمlahumfor themمِّنminanyنَّٰصِرِينَnasirinahelpers٥٦
3:57وَأَمَّاwa-ammaAnd as forٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoءَامَنُواْamanubelieve[d]وَعَمِلُواْwa'amiluand didٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِal-salihati[the] righteous deedsفَيُوَفِّيهِمۡfayuwaffihimthen He will grant them in fullأُجُورَهُمۡۗujurahumtheir rewardوَٱللَّهُwal-lahuAnd Allahلَاla(does) notيُحِبُّyuhibbuloveٱلظَّٰلِمِينَal-zaliminathe wrongdoers٥٧
3:58ذَٰلِكَdhalikaThatنَتۡلُوهُnatluhu(is what) We recite [it]عَلَيۡكَalaykato youمِنَminaofٱلۡأٓيَٰتِal-ayatithe Versesوَٱلذِّكۡرِwal-dhik'riand the Reminder ٱلۡحَكِيمِal-hakimi[the] Wise٥٨
3:59إِنَّinnaIndeedمَثَلَmathala(the) likenessعِيسَىٰisa(of) Isaعِندَindanearٱللَّهِal-lahiAllahكَمَثَلِkamathali(is) like (the) likenessءَادَمَۖadama(of) AdamخَلَقَهُۥkhalaqahuHe created himمِنminfromتُرَابٖturabindustثُمَّthummathenقَالَqalaHe saidلَهُۥlahuto himكُنkunBeفَيَكُونُfayakunuand he was٥٩
3:60ٱلۡحَقُّal-haquThe truthمِنmin(is) fromرَّبِّكَrabbikayour Lordفَلَاfalaso (do) notتَكُنtakunbeمِّنَminaamongٱلۡمُمۡتَرِينَal-mum'tarinathe doubters٦٠
3:61فَمَنۡfamanThen whoeverحَآجَّكَhajjakaargues (with) youفِيهِfihiconcerning itمِنۢminfromبَعۡدِba'diafterمَاmawhatجَآءَكَjaakacame to youمِنَminaofٱلۡعِلۡمِal-'il'mithe knowledgeفَقُلۡfaqulthen sayتَعَالَوۡاْta'alawComeنَدۡعُnad'ulet us callأَبۡنَآءَنَاabnaanaour sonsوَأَبۡنَآءَكُمۡwa-abnaakumand your sonsوَنِسَآءَنَاwanisaanaand our womenوَنِسَآءَكُمۡwanisaakumand your womenوَأَنفُسَنَاwa-anfusanaand ourselvesوَأَنفُسَكُمۡwa-anfusakumand yourselvesثُمَّthummathenنَبۡتَهِلۡnabtahillet us pray humblyفَنَجۡعَلfanaj'aland [we] invokeلَّعۡنَتَla'natathe curseٱللَّهِal-lahi(of) Allahعَلَىalaonٱلۡكَٰذِبِينَal-kadhibinathe liars٦١
3:62إِنَّinnaIndeedهَٰذَاhadhathisلَهُوَlahuwasurely it (is)ٱلۡقَصَصُal-qasasuthe narration ٱلۡحَقُّۚal-haqu[the] trueوَمَاwamaAnd (there is) noمِنۡmin(of)إِلَٰهٍilahingodإِلَّاillaexceptٱللَّهُۚal-lahuAllahوَإِنَّwa-innaAnd indeedٱللَّهَal-lahaAllahلَهُوَlahuwasurely Heٱلۡعَزِيزُal-'azizu(is) the All-Mightyٱلۡحَكِيمُal-hakimuthe All-Wise٦٢
3:63فَإِنfa-inAnd ifتَوَلَّوۡاْtawallawthey turn backفَإِنَّfa-innathen indeedٱللَّهَal-lahaAllahعَلِيمُۢalimun(is) All-Knowingبِٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَbil-muf'sidinaof the corrupters٦٣
3:64قُلۡqulSayيَٰٓأَهۡلَyaahlaO Peopleٱلۡكِتَٰبِal-kitabi(of) the Bookتَعَالَوۡاْta'alawComeإِلَىٰilatoكَلِمَةٖkalimatina wordسَوَآءِۭsawainequitableبَيۡنَنَاbaynanabetween usوَبَيۡنَكُمۡwabaynakumand between you أَلَّاallathat notنَعۡبُدَna'budawe worshipإِلَّاillaexceptٱللَّهَal-lahaAllahوَلَاwalaand notنُشۡرِكَnush'rikawe associate partnersبِهِۦbihiwith Him شَيۡـٔٗاshayananythingوَلَاwalaand notيَتَّخِذَyattakhidhatakeبَعۡضُنَاba'dunasome of usبَعۡضًاba'dan(to) othersأَرۡبَابٗاarbaban(as) lordsمِّنminfromدُونِdunibesidesٱللَّهِۚal-lahiAllahفَإِنfa-inThen ifتَوَلَّوۡاْtawallawthey turn awayفَقُولُواْfaquluthen sayٱشۡهَدُواْish'haduBear witnessبِأَنَّاbi-annathat weمُسۡلِمُونَmus'limuna(are) Muslims٦٤
3:65يَٰٓأَهۡلَyaahlaO Peopleٱلۡكِتَٰبِal-kitabi(of) the BookلِمَlimaWhyتُحَآجُّونَtuhajjuna(do) you argueفِيٓficoncerningإِبۡرَٰهِيمَib'rahimaIbrahimوَمَآwamawhile notأُنزِلَتِunzilatiwas revealedٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةُal-tawratuthe Tauratوَٱلۡإِنجِيلُwal-injiluand the Injeelإِلَّاillaexceptمِنۢminfromبَعۡدِهِۦٓۚba'dihiafter himأَفَلَاafalaThen why dontتَعۡقِلُونَta'qilunayou use your intellect٦٥
3:66هَٰٓأَنتُمۡhaantumHere you are هَٰٓؤُلَآءِhaulaithose whoحَٰجَجۡتُمۡhajajtumarguedفِيمَاfimaabout whatلَكُمlakum[for] youبِهِۦbihiof itعِلۡمٞil'mun(have some) knowledgeفَلِمَfalimaThen whyتُحَآجُّونَtuhajjuna(do) you argueفِيمَاfimaabout whatلَيۡسَlaysanotلَكُمlakumfor youبِهِۦbihiof itعِلۡمٞۚil'mun(any) knowledgeوَٱللَّهُwal-lahuAnd Allahيَعۡلَمُya'lamuknowsوَأَنتُمۡwa-antumwhile youلَاla(do) notتَعۡلَمُونَta'lamunaknow٦٦
3:67مَاmaNotكَانَkanawasإِبۡرَٰهِيمُib'rahimuIbrahimيَهُودِيّٗاyahudiyyana Jewوَلَاwalaand notنَصۡرَانِيّٗاnasraniyyana Christianوَلَٰكِنwalakin[and] butكَانَkanahe wasحَنِيفٗاhanifana trueمُّسۡلِمٗاmus'limanMuslimوَمَاwamaand notكَانَkanahe wasمِنَminafromٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَal-mush'rikinathe polytheists٦٧
3:68إِنَّinnaIndeedأَوۡلَىawlathe best to claim relationshipٱلنَّاسِal-nasi(of) peopleبِإِبۡرَٰهِيمَbi-ib'rahimawith Ibrahimلَلَّذِينَlalladhina(are) those whoٱتَّبَعُوهُittaba'uhufollow himوَهَٰذَاwahadhaand thisٱلنَّبِيُّal-nabiyu[the] Prophetوَٱلَّذِينَwa-alladhinaand those whoءَامَنُواْۗamanubelieve[d]وَٱللَّهُwal-lahuAnd Allahوَلِيُّwaliyyu(is) a Guardianٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَal-mu'minina(of) the believers٦٨
3:69وَدَّتwaddatWishedطَّآئِفَةٞtaifatuna groupمِّنۡminfromأَهۡلِahli(the) Peopleٱلۡكِتَٰبِal-kitabi(of) the Bookلَوۡlawifيُضِلُّونَكُمۡyudillunakumthey could lead you astrayوَمَاwamaand notيُضِلُّونَyudillunathey lead astrayإِلَّآillaexceptأَنفُسَهُمۡanfusahumthemselvesوَمَاwamaand notيَشۡعُرُونَyash'urunathey perceive٦٩
3:70يَٰٓأَهۡلَyaahlaO Peopleٱلۡكِتَٰبِal-kitabi(of) the BookلِمَlimaWhy doتَكۡفُرُونَtakfurunayou denyبِـَٔايَٰتِbiayati[in] the Signsٱللَّهِal-lahi(of) Allahوَأَنتُمۡwa-antumwhile youتَشۡهَدُونَtashhadunabear witness٧٠
3:71يَٰٓأَهۡلَyaahlaO Peopleٱلۡكِتَٰبِal-kitabi(of) the BookلِمَlimaWhyتَلۡبِسُونَtalbisunado you mixٱلۡحَقَّal-haqathe truthبِٱلۡبَٰطِلِbil-batiliwith the falsehoodوَتَكۡتُمُونَwataktumunaand concealٱلۡحَقَّal-haqathe truthوَأَنتُمۡwa-antumwhile youتَعۡلَمُونَta'lamunaknow٧١
3:72وَقَالَتwaqalatAnd saidطَّآئِفَةٞtaifatuna groupمِّنۡminofأَهۡلِahli(the) Peopleٱلۡكِتَٰبِal-kitabi(of) the BookءَامِنُواْaminuBelieveبِٱلَّذِيٓbi-alladhiin whatأُنزِلَunzilawas revealedعَلَىalaonٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoءَامَنُواْamanubelieve[d]وَجۡهَwajha(at the) beginningٱلنَّهَارِal-nahari(of) the dayوَٱكۡفُرُوٓاْwa-uk'furuand rejectءَاخِرَهُۥakhirahu(at) its endلَعَلَّهُمۡla'allahumperhaps they mayيَرۡجِعُونَyarji'unareturn٧٢
3:73وَلَاwalaAnd (do) notتُؤۡمِنُوٓاْtu'minubelieveإِلَّاillaexceptلِمَنliman(the one) whoتَبِعَtabi'afollowsدِينَكُمۡdinakumyour religionقُلۡqulSayإِنَّinnaIndeedٱلۡهُدَىٰal-hudathe (true) guidanceهُدَىhuda(is the) Guidanceٱللَّهِal-lahi(of) Allah أَنanlestيُؤۡتَىٰٓyu'tais givenأَحَدٞahadun(to) one مِّثۡلَmith'la(the) likeمَآma(of) whatأُوتِيتُمۡutitumwas given to youأَوۡaworيُحَآجُّوكُمۡyuhajjukumthey may argue with youعِندَindanearرَبِّكُمۡۗrabbikumyour LordقُلۡqulSayإِنَّinnaIndeedٱلۡفَضۡلَal-fadlathe Bountyبِيَدِbiyadi(is) in the Handٱللَّهِal-lahi(of) Allahيُؤۡتِيهِyu'tihiHe gives itمَنman(to) whomيَشَآءُۗyashauHe willsوَٱللَّهُwal-lahuand Allahوَٰسِعٌwasi'un(is) All-EncompassingعَلِيمٞalimunAll-Knowing٧٣
3:74يَخۡتَصُّyakhtassuHe choosesبِرَحۡمَتِهِۦbirahmatihifor His MercyمَنmanwhomيَشَآءُۗyashauHe willsوَٱللَّهُwal-lahuAnd Allahذُوdhu(is) the Possessorٱلۡفَضۡلِal-fadli(of) Bounty ٱلۡعَظِيمِal-'azimi[the] great٧٤
3:75۞وَمِنۡwaminAnd fromأَهۡلِahli(the) Peopleٱلۡكِتَٰبِal-kitabi(of) the Bookمَنۡman(is he) whoإِنinifتَأۡمَنۡهُtamanhuyou entrust himبِقِنطَارٖbiqintarinwith a great amount of wealthيُؤَدِّهِۦٓyu-addihihe will return itإِلَيۡكَilaykato youوَمِنۡهُمwamin'humAnd from themمَّنۡman(is he) whoإِنinifتَأۡمَنۡهُtamanhuyou entrust himبِدِينَارٖbidinarinwith a single coinلَّاlanotيُؤَدِّهِۦٓyu-addihihe will return itإِلَيۡكَilaykato youإِلَّاillaexceptمَاmathatدُمۡتَdum'tayou keep constantlyعَلَيۡهِalayhiover himقَآئِمٗاۗqaimanstandingذَٰلِكَdhalikaThatبِأَنَّهُمۡbi-annahum(is) because theyقَالُواْqalusaidلَيۡسَlaysaNotعَلَيۡنَاalaynaon usفِيficoncerningٱلۡأُمِّيِّـۧنَal-umiyinathe unlettered peopleسَبِيلٞsabilunany [way] (accountability)وَيَقُولُونَwayaqulunaAnd they sayعَلَىalaaboutٱللَّهِal-lahiAllahٱلۡكَذِبَal-kadhibathe lieوَهُمۡwahumwhile theyيَعۡلَمُونَya'lamunaknow٧٥
