۞فَـَٔامَنَ
faamana
And believed
لَهُۥ

لُوطٞۘ

Lut
وَقَالَ
waqala
and he said
إِنِّي
inni
Indeed I (am)
مُهَاجِرٌ
muhajirun
emigrating
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
رَبِّيٓۖ
rabbi
my Lord
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed He
هُوَ
huwa
[He] (is)
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
al-'azizu
the All-Mighty
ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
al-hakimu
the All-Wise
٢٦
29:27
وَوَهَبۡنَا
wawahabna
And We granted
لَهُۥٓ
lahu
to him
إِسۡحَٰقَ
is'haqa
Isaac
وَيَعۡقُوبَ
waya'quba
and Yaqub
وَجَعَلۡنَا
waja'alna
and We placed
فِي
fi
in
ذُرِّيَّتِهِ
dhurriyyatihi
his offsprings
ٱلنُّبُوَّةَ
al-nubuwata
the Prophethood
وَٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
wal-kitaba
and the Book
وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ
waataynahu
And We gave him
أَجۡرَهُۥ
ajrahu
his reward
فِي
fi
in
ٱلدُّنۡيَاۖ
al-dun'ya
the world
وَإِنَّهُۥ
wa-innahu
And indeed he
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ
al-akhirati
the Hereafter
لَمِنَ
lamina
(is) surely among
ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
al-salihina
the righteous
٢٧
29:28
وَلُوطًا
walutan
And Lut
إِذۡ
idh
when
قَالَ
qala
he said
لِقَوۡمِهِۦٓ
liqawmihi
to his people
إِنَّكُمۡ
innakum
Indeed you
لَتَأۡتُونَ
latatuna
commit
ٱلۡفَٰحِشَةَ
al-fahishata
the immorality
مَا
ma
not
سَبَقَكُم
sabaqakum
has preceded you
بِهَا
biha
with it
مِنۡ
min
any
أَحَدٖ
ahadin
one
مِّنَ
mina
from
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
al-'alamina
the worlds
٢٨
29:29
أَئِنَّكُمۡ
a-innakum
Indeed you
لَتَأۡتُونَ
latatuna
approach
ٱلرِّجَالَ
al-rijala
the men
وَتَقۡطَعُونَ
wataqta'una
and you cut off
ٱلسَّبِيلَ
al-sabila
the road
وَتَأۡتُونَ
watatuna
and commit
فِي
fi
in
نَادِيكُمُ
nadikumu
your meetings
ٱلۡمُنكَرَۖ
al-munkara
evil
فَمَا
fama
And not
كَانَ
kana
was
جَوَابَ
jawaba
(the) answer
قَوۡمِهِۦٓ
qawmihi
(of) his people
إِلَّآ
illa
except
أَن
an
that
قَالُواْ
qalu
they said
ٱئۡتِنَا
i'tina
Bring upon us
بِعَذَابِ
bi'adhabi
(the) punishment
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
إِن
in
if
كُنتَ
kunta
you are
مِنَ
mina
of
ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
al-sadiqina
the truthful
٢٩
29:30
قَالَ
qala
He said
رَبِّ
rabbi
My Lord
ٱنصُرۡنِي
unsur'ni
Help me
عَلَى
ala
against
ٱلۡقَوۡمِ
al-qawmi
the people
ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ
al-muf'sidina
the corrupters

29:31
وَلَمَّا
walamma
And when
جَآءَتۡ
jaat
came
رُسُلُنَآ
rusuluna
Our messengers
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
ib'rahima
(to) Ibrahim
بِٱلۡبُشۡرَىٰ
bil-bush'ra
with the glad tidings
قَالُوٓاْ
qalu
they said
إِنَّا
inna
Indeed we
مُهۡلِكُوٓاْ
muh'liku
(are) going to destroy
أَهۡلِ
ahli
(the) people
هَٰذِهِ
hadhihi
(of) this
ٱلۡقَرۡيَةِۖ
al-qaryati
town
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
أَهۡلَهَا
ahlaha
its people
كَانُواْ
kanu
are
ظَٰلِمِينَ
zalimina
wrongdoers
٣١
29:32
قَالَ
qala
He said
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
فِيهَا
fiha
in it
لُوطٗاۚ
lutan
(is) Lut
قَالُواْ
qalu
They said
نَحۡنُ
nahnu
We
أَعۡلَمُ
a'lamu
know better
بِمَن
biman
who
فِيهَاۖ
fiha
(is) in it
لَنُنَجِّيَنَّهُۥ
lanunajjiyannahu
We will surely save him
وَأَهۡلَهُۥٓ
wa-ahlahu
and his family
إِلَّا
illa
except
ٱمۡرَأَتَهُۥ
im'ra-atahu
his wife
كَانَتۡ
kanat
She
مِنَ
mina
(is) of
ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ
al-ghabirina
those who remain behind
٣٢
29:33
وَلَمَّآ
walamma
And when
أَن
an
[that]
جَآءَتۡ
jaat
came
رُسُلُنَا
rusuluna
Our messengers
لُوطٗا
lutan
(to) Lut
سِيٓءَ
sia
he was distressed
بِهِمۡ
bihim
for them
وَضَاقَ
wadaqa
and felt straitened
بِهِمۡ
bihim
for them
ذَرۡعٗاۖ
dhar'an
(and) uneasy
وَقَالُواْ
waqalu
And they said
لَا
la
(Do) not
تَخَفۡ
takhaf
fear
وَلَا
wala
and (do) not
تَحۡزَنۡ
tahzan
grieve
إِنَّا
inna
Indeed we
مُنَجُّوكَ
munajjuka
(will) save you
وَأَهۡلَكَ
wa-ahlaka
and your family
إِلَّا
illa
except
ٱمۡرَأَتَكَ
im'ra-ataka
your wife
كَانَتۡ
kanat
She
مِنَ
mina
(is) of
ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ
al-ghabirina
those who remain behind
٣٣
29:34
إِنَّا
inna
Indeed we
مُنزِلُونَ
munziluna
(will) bring down
عَلَىٰٓ
ala
on
أَهۡلِ
ahli
(the) people
هَٰذِهِ
hadhihi
(of) this
ٱلۡقَرۡيَةِ
al-qaryati
town
رِجۡزٗا
rij'zan
a punishment
مِّنَ
mina
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
al-samai
(the) sky
بِمَا
bima
because
كَانُواْ
kanu
they have been
يَفۡسُقُونَ
yafsuquna
defiantly disobedient
٣٤
29:35
وَلَقَد
walaqad
And verily
تَّرَكۡنَا
tarakna
We have left
مِنۡهَآ
min'ha
about it
ءَايَةَۢ
ayatan
a sign
بَيِّنَةٗ
bayyinatan
(as) evidence
لِّقَوۡمٖ
liqawmin
for a people
يَعۡقِلُونَ
ya'qiluna
who use reason
٣٥
29:36
وَإِلَىٰ
wa-ila
And to
مَدۡيَنَ
madyana
Madyan
أَخَاهُمۡ
akhahum
their brother
شُعَيۡبٗا
shu'ayban
Shuaib
فَقَالَ
faqala
And he said
يَٰقَوۡمِ
yaqawmi
O my people
ٱعۡبُدُواْ
u'budu
Worship
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَٱرۡجُواْ
wa-ir'ju
and expect
ٱلۡيَوۡمَ
al-yawma
the Day
ٱلۡأٓخِرَ
al-akhira
the Last
وَلَا
wala
and (do) not
تَعۡثَوۡاْ
ta'thaw
commit evil
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
مُفۡسِدِينَ
muf'sidina
(as) corrupters
٣٦
29:37
فَكَذَّبُوهُ
fakadhabuhu
But they denied him
فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ
fa-akhadhathumu
so seized them
ٱلرَّجۡفَةُ
al-rajfatu
the earthquake
فَأَصۡبَحُواْ
fa-asbahu
and they became
فِي
fi
in
دَارِهِمۡ
darihim
their home
جَٰثِمِينَ
jathimina
fallen prone
٣٧
29:38
وَعَادٗا
wa'adan
And Aad
وَثَمُودَاْ
wathamuda
and Thamud
وَقَد
waqad
and verily
تَّبَيَّنَ
tabayyana
(has) become clear
لَكُم
lakum
to you
مِّن
min
from
مَّسَٰكِنِهِمۡۖ
masakinihim
their dwellings
وَزَيَّنَ
wazayyana
And made fair-seeming
لَهُمُ
lahumu
to them
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ
al-shaytanu
the Shaitaan
أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
a'malahum
their deeds
فَصَدَّهُمۡ
fasaddahum
and averted them
عَنِ
ani
from
ٱلسَّبِيلِ
al-sabili
the Way
وَكَانُواْ
wakanu
though they were
مُسۡتَبۡصِرِينَ
mus'tabsirina
endowed with insight

29:39
وَقَٰرُونَ
waqaruna
And Qarun
وَفِرۡعَوۡنَ
wafir'awna
and Firaun
وَهَٰمَٰنَۖ
wahamana
and Haman
وَلَقَدۡ
walaqad
And certainly
جَآءَهُم
jaahum
came to them
مُّوسَىٰ
musa
Musa
بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ
bil-bayinati
with clear evidences
فَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ
fa-is'takbaru
but they were arrogant
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
وَمَا
wama
and not
كَانُواْ
kanu
they could
سَٰبِقِينَ
sabiqina
outstrip Us
٣٩
29:40
فَكُلًّا
fakullan
So each
أَخَذۡنَا
akhadhna
We seized
بِذَنۢبِهِۦۖ
bidhanbihi
for his sin
فَمِنۡهُم
famin'hum
Then of them
مَّنۡ
man
(was he) who
أَرۡسَلۡنَا
arsalna
We sent
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
on him
حَاصِبٗا
hasiban
a violent storm
وَمِنۡهُم
wamin'hum
and of them
مَّنۡ
man
(was he) who
أَخَذَتۡهُ
akhadhathu
seized him
ٱلصَّيۡحَةُ
al-sayhatu
the awful cry
وَمِنۡهُم
wamin'hum
and of them
مَّنۡ
man
(was he) who
خَسَفۡنَا
khasafna
We caused to swallow
بِهِ
bihi
him
ٱلۡأَرۡضَ
al-arda
the earth
وَمِنۡهُم
wamin'hum
and of them
مَّنۡ
man
(was he) who
أَغۡرَقۡنَاۚ
aghraqna
We drowned
وَمَا
wama
And not
كَانَ
kana
was
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
لِيَظۡلِمَهُمۡ
liyazlimahum
to wrong them
وَلَٰكِن
walakin
but
كَانُوٓاْ
kanu
they were
أَنفُسَهُمۡ
anfusahum
themselves
يَظۡلِمُونَ
yazlimuna
doing wrong
٤٠
29:41
مَثَلُ
mathalu
(The) example
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(of) those who
ٱتَّخَذُواْ
ittakhadhu
take
مِن
min
besides
دُونِ
duni
besides
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
أَوۡلِيَآءَ
awliyaa
protectors
كَمَثَلِ
kamathali
(is) like
ٱلۡعَنكَبُوتِ
al-'ankabuti
the spider
ٱتَّخَذَتۡ
ittakhadhat
who takes
بَيۡتٗاۖ
baytan
a house
وَإِنَّ
wa-inna
And indeed
أَوۡهَنَ
awhana
the weakest
ٱلۡبُيُوتِ
al-buyuti
(of) houses
لَبَيۡتُ
labaytu
(is) surely (the) house
ٱلۡعَنكَبُوتِۚ
al-'ankabuti
(of) the spider
لَوۡ
law
if (only)
كَانُواْ
kanu
they
يَعۡلَمُونَ
ya'lamuna
know
٤١
29:42
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
ya'lamu
knows
مَا
ma
what
يَدۡعُونَ
yad'una
they invoke
مِن
min
besides Him
دُونِهِۦ
dunihi
besides Him
مِن
min
any
شَيۡءٖۚ
shayin
thing
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
And He
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
al-'azizu
(is) the All-Mighty
ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
al-hakimu
the All-Wise
٤٢
29:43
وَتِلۡكَ
watil'ka
And these
ٱلۡأَمۡثَٰلُ
al-amthalu
examples
نَضۡرِبُهَا
nadribuha
We set forth
لِلنَّاسِۖ
lilnnasi
to mankind
وَمَا
wama
but not
يَعۡقِلُهَآ
ya'qiluha
will understand them
إِلَّا
illa
except
ٱلۡعَٰلِمُونَ
al-'alimuna
those of knowledge
٤٣
29:44
خَلَقَ
khalaqa
Allah created
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah created
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ
wal-arda
and the earth
بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ
bil-haqi
in truth
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
فِي
fi
in
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
that
لَأٓيَةٗ
laayatan
(is) surely a Sign
لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
lil'mu'minina
for the believers
٤٤
29:45
ٱتۡلُ
ut'lu
Recite
مَآ
ma
what
أُوحِيَ
uhiya
has been revealed
إِلَيۡكَ
ilayka
to you
مِنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
al-kitabi
the Book
وَأَقِمِ
wa-aqimi
and establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَۖ
al-salata
the prayer
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
al-salata
the prayer
تَنۡهَىٰ
tanha
prevents
عَنِ
ani
from
ٱلۡفَحۡشَآءِ
al-fahshai
the immorality
وَٱلۡمُنكَرِۗ
wal-munkari
and evil deeds
وَلَذِكۡرُ
waladhik'ru
and surely (the) remembrance
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
أَكۡبَرُۗ
akbaru
(is) greatest
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
ya'lamu
knows
مَا
ma
what
تَصۡنَعُونَ
tasna'una
you do
٤٥

29:46
۞وَلَا
wala
And (do) not
تُجَٰدِلُوٓاْ
tujadilu
argue
أَهۡلَ
ahla
(with the) People of the Book
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
al-kitabi
(with the) People of the Book
إِلَّا
illa
except
بِٱلَّتِي
bi-allati
by which
هِيَ
hiya
[it]
أَحۡسَنُ
ahsanu
(is) best
إِلَّا
illa
except
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ظَلَمُواْ
zalamu
(do) wrong
مِنۡهُمۡۖ
min'hum
among them
وَقُولُوٓاْ
waqulu
and say
ءَامَنَّا
amanna
We believe
بِٱلَّذِيٓ
bi-alladhi
in that (which)
أُنزِلَ
unzila
has been revealed
إِلَيۡنَا
ilayna
to us
وَأُنزِلَ
wa-unzila
and was revealed
إِلَيۡكُمۡ
ilaykum
to you
وَإِلَٰهُنَا
wa-ilahuna
And our God
وَإِلَٰهُكُمۡ
wa-ilahukum
and your God
وَٰحِدٞ
wahidun
(is) One
وَنَحۡنُ
wanahnu
and we
لَهُۥ
lahu
to Him
مُسۡلِمُونَ
mus'limuna
submit
٤٦
29:47
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
wakadhalika
And thus
أَنزَلۡنَآ
anzalna
We (have) revealed
إِلَيۡكَ
ilayka
to you
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَۚ
al-kitaba
the Book
فَٱلَّذِينَ
fa-alladhina
So those
ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمُ
ataynahumu
We gave [them]
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
al-kitaba
the Book
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yu'minuna
believe
بِهِۦۖ
bihi
therein
وَمِنۡ
wamin
And among
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haulai
these
مَن
man
(are some) who
يُؤۡمِنُ
yu'minu
believe
بِهِۦۚ
bihi
therein
وَمَا
wama
And none
يَجۡحَدُ
yajhadu
reject
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ
biayatina
Our Verses
إِلَّا
illa
except
ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ
al-kafiruna
the disbelievers
٤٧
29:48
وَمَا
wama
And not
كُنتَ
kunta
(did) you
تَتۡلُواْ
tatlu
recite
مِن
min
before it
قَبۡلِهِۦ
qablihi
before it
مِن
min
any
كِتَٰبٖ
kitabin
Book
وَلَا
wala
and not
تَخُطُّهُۥ
takhuttuhu
(did) you write it
بِيَمِينِكَۖ
biyaminika
with your right hand
إِذٗا
idhan
in that case
لَّٱرۡتَابَ
la-ir'taba
surely (would) have doubted
ٱلۡمُبۡطِلُونَ
al-mub'tiluna
the falsifiers
٤٨
29:49
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
هُوَ
huwa
it
ءَايَٰتُۢ
ayatun
(is) Verses
بَيِّنَٰتٞ
bayyinatun
clear
فِي
fi
in
صُدُورِ
suduri
(the) breasts
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(of) those who
أُوتُواْ
utu
are given
ٱلۡعِلۡمَۚ
al-'il'ma
the knowledge
وَمَا
wama
And not
يَجۡحَدُ
yajhadu
reject
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ
biayatina
Our Verses
إِلَّا
illa
except
ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
al-zalimuna
the wrongdoers
٤٩
29:50
وَقَالُواْ
waqalu
And they say
لَوۡلَآ
lawla
Why not
أُنزِلَ
unzila
are sent down
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
to him
ءَايَٰتٞ
ayatun
(the) Signs
مِّن
min
from
رَّبِّهِۦۚ
rabbihi
his Lord
قُلۡ
qul
Say
إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
ٱلۡأٓيَٰتُ
al-ayatu
the Signs
عِندَ
inda
(are) with
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
وَإِنَّمَآ
wa-innama
and only
أَنَا۠
ana
I (am)
نَذِيرٞ
nadhirun
a warner
مُّبِينٌ
mubinun
clear
٥٠
