۞فَـَٔامَنَ
Faʹaamana
And believed
لَهُۥ

لُوطٞۘ
Looṭ.
Lut
وَقَالَ
Wa-q̣aala
and he said
إِنِّي
ʹinnee
Indeed I (am)
مُهَاجِرٌ
muhaajirun
emigrating
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
رَبِّيٓۖ
Rabbee;
my Lord
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹinnahoo
Indeed He
هُوَ
Huwal
[He] (is)
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
ʻAzeezul
the All-Mighty
ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
Ḥakeem.
the All-Wise
٢٦
29:27
وَوَهَبۡنَا
Wa-wahabnaa
And We granted
لَهُۥٓ
lahooo
to him
إِسۡحَٰقَ
ʹIs-ḥaaq̣a
Isaac
وَيَعۡقُوبَ
wa-Yaʻq̣ooba
and Yaqub
وَجَعَلۡنَا
wa-jaʻalnaa
and We placed
فِي
fee
in
ذُرِّيَّتِهِ
ẓurriyyatihin
his offsprings
ٱلنُّبُوَّةَ
Nubuwwata
the Prophethood
وَٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
wal-Kitaaba
and the Book
وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ
wa-ʹaataynaahu
And We gave him
أَجۡرَهُۥ
ʹajrahoo
his reward
فِي
fid
in
ٱلدُّنۡيَاۖ
dunyaa;
the world
وَإِنَّهُۥ
wa-ʹinnahoo
And indeed he
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ
ʹAakhirati
the Hereafter
لَمِنَ
laminaṣ
(is) surely among
ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
Ṣaaliḥeen:
the righteous
٢٧
29:28
وَلُوطًا
Wa-Looṭan
And Lut
إِذۡ
ʹiẓ
when
قَالَ
q̣aala
he said
لِقَوۡمِهِۦٓ
liq̣awmiheee
to his people
إِنَّكُمۡ
ʹinnakum
Indeed you
لَتَأۡتُونَ
lataʹtoonal
commit
ٱلۡفَٰحِشَةَ
faaḥishata
the immorality
مَا
maa-
not
سَبَقَكُم
sabaq̣akum̃
has preceded you
بِهَا
bihaa
with it
مِنۡ
min
any
أَحَدٖ
ʹaḥadim
one
مِّنَ
minal
from
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
ʻAalameen.
the worlds
٢٨
29:29
أَئِنَّكُمۡ
ʹAʹinnakum
Indeed you
لَتَأۡتُونَ
lataʹtoonar
approach
ٱلرِّجَالَ
rijaala
the men
وَتَقۡطَعُونَ
wa-taq̣ṭaʻoonas
and you cut off
ٱلسَّبِيلَ
sabeel?
the road
وَتَأۡتُونَ
Wa-taʹtoona
and commit
فِي
fee
in
نَادِيكُمُ
naadeekumul
your meetings
ٱلۡمُنكَرَۖ
muñkar?
evil
فَمَا
Famaa
And not
كَانَ
kaana
was
جَوَابَ
jawaaba
(the) answer
قَوۡمِهِۦٓ
q̣awmiheee
(of) his people
إِلَّآ
ʹillaaa
except
أَن
ʹañ
that
قَالُواْ
q̣aaluʹ
they said
ٱئۡتِنَا
tinaa
Bring upon us
بِعَذَابِ
biʻAẓaabil
(the) punishment
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
إِن
ʹiñ
if
كُنتَ
kuñta
you are
مِنَ
minaṣ
of
ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
ṣaadiq̣een.
the truthful
٢٩
29:30
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
رَبِّ
Rabbiñ
My Lord
ٱنصُرۡنِي
ṣurnee
Help me
عَلَى
ʻalal
against
ٱلۡقَوۡمِ
q̣awmil
the people
ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ
mufsideen!
the corrupters

29:31
وَلَمَّا
Wa-lammaa
And when
جَآءَتۡ
jaaaʹat
came
رُسُلُنَآ
Rusulunaaa
Our messengers
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
ʹIbraaheema
(to) Ibrahim
بِٱلۡبُشۡرَىٰ
bil-bushraa
with the glad tidings
قَالُوٓاْ
q̣aalooo
they said
إِنَّا
ʹinnaa
Indeed we
مُهۡلِكُوٓاْ
muhlikooo
(are) going to destroy
أَهۡلِ
ʹahli
(the) people
هَٰذِهِ
haaẓihil
(of) this
ٱلۡقَرۡيَةِۖ
q̣aryah:
town
إِنَّ
ʹinna
Indeed
أَهۡلَهَا
ʹahlahaa
its people
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
are
ظَٰلِمِينَ
z̤̣aalimeen.
wrongdoers
٣١
29:32
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
إِنَّ
ʹinna
Indeed
فِيهَا
feeha
in it
لُوطٗاۚ
Looṭaa.
(is) Lut
قَالُواْ
Q̣aaloo
They said
نَحۡنُ
naḥnu
We
أَعۡلَمُ
ʹaʻlamu
know better
بِمَن
bimañ
who
فِيهَاۖ
feehaa.
(is) in it
لَنُنَجِّيَنَّهُۥ
Lanunajjiyannahoo
We will surely save him
وَأَهۡلَهُۥٓ
wa-ʹahlahooo
and his family
إِلَّا
ʹillam
except
ٱمۡرَأَتَهُۥ
raʹatahoo
his wife
كَانَتۡ
kaanat
She
مِنَ
minal
(is) of
ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ
g̣aabireen!
those who remain behind
٣٢
29:33
وَلَمَّآ
Wa-lammaaa
And when
أَن
ʹañ
[that]
جَآءَتۡ
jaaaʹat
came
رُسُلُنَا
Rusulunaa
Our messengers
لُوطٗا
Looṭañ
(to) Lut
سِيٓءَ
seeeʹa
he was distressed
بِهِمۡ
bihim
for them
وَضَاقَ
wa-ḍaaq̣a
and felt straitened
بِهِمۡ
bihim
for them
ذَرۡعٗاۖ
ẓarʻañw
(and) uneasy
وَقَالُواْ
waq̣aaloo
And they said
لَا
laa-
(Do) not
تَخَفۡ
takhaf
fear
وَلَا
wa-laa
and (do) not
تَحۡزَنۡ
taḥzan:
grieve
إِنَّا
ʹinnaa
Indeed we
مُنَجُّوكَ
munajjooka
(will) save you
وَأَهۡلَكَ
wa-ʹahlaka
and your family
إِلَّا
ʹillam
except
ٱمۡرَأَتَكَ
raʹataka
your wife
كَانَتۡ
kaanat
She
مِنَ
minal
(is) of
ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ
g̣aabireen.
those who remain behind
٣٣
29:34
إِنَّا
ʹInnaa
Indeed we
مُنزِلُونَ
muñziloona
(will) bring down
عَلَىٰٓ
ʻalaaa
on
أَهۡلِ
ʹahli
(the) people
هَٰذِهِ
Haaẓihil
(of) this
ٱلۡقَرۡيَةِ
q̣aryati
town
رِجۡزٗا
Rijzam
a punishment
مِّنَ
minas
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
samaaaʹi
(the) sky
بِمَا
bimaa
because
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they have been
يَفۡسُقُونَ
yafsuq̣oon.
defiantly disobedient
٣٤
29:35
وَلَقَد
Wa-laq̣at
And verily
تَّرَكۡنَا
taraknaa
We have left
مِنۡهَآ
min-haaa
about it
ءَايَةَۢ
ʹAayatam
a sign
بَيِّنَةٗ
bayyinatal
(as) evidence
لِّقَوۡمٖ
liq̣awmiñy
for a people
يَعۡقِلُونَ
yaʻq̣iloon.
who use reason
٣٥
29:36
وَإِلَىٰ
Wa-ʹilaa
And to
مَدۡيَنَ
Madyana
Madyan
أَخَاهُمۡ
ʹakhaahum
their brother
شُعَيۡبٗا
shuʻaybañ
Shuaib
فَقَالَ
faq̣aala
And he said
يَٰقَوۡمِ
yaa-q̣awmiʻ
O my people
ٱعۡبُدُواْ
budul
Worship
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
وَٱرۡجُواْ
warjul
and expect
ٱلۡيَوۡمَ
Yawmal
the Day
ٱلۡأٓخِرَ
ʹAakhira
the Last
وَلَا
wa-laa
and (do) not
تَعۡثَوۡاْ
taʻs̤aw
commit evil
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
مُفۡسِدِينَ
mufsideen.
(as) corrupters
٣٦
29:37
فَكَذَّبُوهُ
Fakaẓẓaboohu
But they denied him
فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ
faʹakhaẓathumur
so seized them
ٱلرَّجۡفَةُ
rajfatu
the earthquake
فَأَصۡبَحُواْ
faʹaṣbaḥoo
and they became
فِي
fee
in
دَارِهِمۡ
daarihim
their home
جَٰثِمِينَ
jaas̤imeen.
fallen prone
٣٧
29:38
وَعَادٗا
Wa-ʻAadañw
And Aad
وَثَمُودَاْ
Wa-S̤amooda
and Thamud
وَقَد
waq̣at
and verily
تَّبَيَّنَ
tabayyana
(has) become clear
لَكُم
lakum
to you
مِّن
mim
from
مَّسَٰكِنِهِمۡۖ
masaakinihim.
their dwellings
وَزَيَّنَ
Wa-zayyana
And made fair-seeming
لَهُمُ
lahumush
to them
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ
Shayṭaanu
the Shaitaan
أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
ʹaʻmaalahum
their deeds
فَصَدَّهُمۡ
faṣaddahum
and averted them
عَنِ
ʻanis
from
ٱلسَّبِيلِ
Sabeeli
the Way
وَكَانُواْ
wa-kaanoo
though they were
مُسۡتَبۡصِرِينَ
Mustabṣireen.
endowed with insight

29:39
وَقَٰرُونَ
Wa-Q̣aaroona
And Qarun
وَفِرۡعَوۡنَ
wa-Firʻawna
and Firaun
وَهَٰمَٰنَۖ
wa-Haamaan:
and Haman
وَلَقَدۡ
wa-laq̣ad
And certainly
جَآءَهُم
jaaaʹahum
came to them
مُّوسَىٰ
Moosaa
Musa
بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ
bil-Bayyinaati
with clear evidences
فَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ
fastakbaroo
but they were arrogant
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
وَمَا
wa-maa
and not
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they could
سَٰبِقِينَ
saabiq̣een.
outstrip Us
٣٩
29:40
فَكُلًّا
Fakullan
So each
أَخَذۡنَا
ʹakhaẓnaa
We seized
بِذَنۢبِهِۦۖ
biẓambih:
for his sin
فَمِنۡهُم
faminhum
Then of them
مَّنۡ
man
(was he) who
أَرۡسَلۡنَا
ʹarsalnaa
We sent
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
on him
حَاصِبٗا
ḥaaṣibaa;
a violent storm
وَمِنۡهُم
wa-minhum
and of them
مَّنۡ
man
(was he) who
أَخَذَتۡهُ
ʹakhaẓathuṣ
seized him
ٱلصَّيۡحَةُ
Ṣayḥah;
the awful cry
وَمِنۡهُم
wa-minhum
and of them
مَّنۡ
man
(was he) who
خَسَفۡنَا
khasafnaa
We caused to swallow
بِهِ
bihil
him
ٱلۡأَرۡضَ
ʹarḍ:
the earth
وَمِنۡهُم
wa-minhum
and of them
مَّنۡ
man
(was he) who
أَغۡرَقۡنَاۚ
ʹag̣raq̣naa:
We drowned
وَمَا
wa-maa
And not
كَانَ
kaanal
was
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
لِيَظۡلِمَهُمۡ
liyaz̤̣limahum
to wrong them
وَلَٰكِن
wa-laakiñ
but
كَانُوٓاْ
kaanooo
they were
أَنفُسَهُمۡ
ʹañfusahum
themselves
يَظۡلِمُونَ
yaz̤̣limoon.
doing wrong
٤٠
29:41
مَثَلُ
Mas̤alul
(The) example
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeenat
(of) those who
ٱتَّخَذُواْ
takhaẓoo
take
مِن
miñ
besides
دُونِ
doonil
besides
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
أَوۡلِيَآءَ
ʹawliyaaaʹa
protectors
كَمَثَلِ
kamas̤alil
(is) like
ٱلۡعَنكَبُوتِ
ʻAñkaboot:
the spider
ٱتَّخَذَتۡ
ʹittakhaẓat
who takes
بَيۡتٗاۖ
baytaa!
a house
وَإِنَّ
Wa-ʹinna
And indeed
أَوۡهَنَ
ʹawhanal
the weakest
ٱلۡبُيُوتِ
buyooti
(of) houses
لَبَيۡتُ
labaytul
(is) surely (the) house
ٱلۡعَنكَبُوتِۚ
ʻAñkaboot.
(of) the spider
لَوۡ
Law
if (only)
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they
يَعۡلَمُونَ
yaʻlamoon.
know
٤١
29:42
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
yaʻlamu
knows
مَا
maa-
what
يَدۡعُونَ
yadʻoona
they invoke
مِن
miñ
besides Him
دُونِهِۦ
doonihee
besides Him
مِن
miñ
any
شَيۡءٖۚ
shayʹ:
thing
وَهُوَ
wa-Huwal
And He
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
ʻAzeezul
(is) the All-Mighty
ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
Ḥakeem.
the All-Wise
٤٢
29:43
وَتِلۡكَ
Wa-tilkal
And these
ٱلۡأَمۡثَٰلُ
ʹAms̤aalu
examples
نَضۡرِبُهَا
naḍribuhaa
We set forth
لِلنَّاسِۖ
linnaasi
to mankind
وَمَا
wa-maa
but not
يَعۡقِلُهَآ
yaʻq̣iluhaaa
will understand them
إِلَّا
ʹillal
except
ٱلۡعَٰلِمُونَ
ʻAalimoon.
those of knowledge
٤٣
29:44
خَلَقَ
Khalaq̣al
Allah created
ٱللَّهُ
laahus
Allah created
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ
wal-ʹarḍa
and the earth
بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ
bilḥaq̣q̣.
in truth
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
فِي
fee
in
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
لَأٓيَةٗ
laʹAayatal
(is) surely a Sign
لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
lil-Muʹmineen.
for the believers
٤٤
29:45
ٱتۡلُ
ʹUtlu
Recite
مَآ
maaa
what
أُوحِيَ
ʹooḥiya
has been revealed
إِلَيۡكَ
ʹilayka
to you
مِنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
Kitaabi
the Book
وَأَقِمِ
wa-ʹaq̣imiṣ
and establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَۖ
Ṣalaah:
the prayer
إِنَّ
ʹinnaṣ
Indeed
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
Ṣalaata
the prayer
تَنۡهَىٰ
tanhaa
prevents
عَنِ
ʻanil
from
ٱلۡفَحۡشَآءِ
faḥshaaaʹi
the immorality
وَٱلۡمُنكَرِۗ
wal-muñkar;
and evil deeds
وَلَذِكۡرُ
wa-la-Ẓikrul
and surely (the) remembrance
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
أَكۡبَرُۗ
ʹAkbar.
(is) greatest
وَٱللَّهُ
Wal-laahu
And Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
yaʻlamu
knows
مَا
maa-
what
تَصۡنَعُونَ
taṣnaʻoon.
you do
٤٥

29:46
۞وَلَا
Wa-laa
And (do) not
تُجَٰدِلُوٓاْ
tujaadilooo
argue
أَهۡلَ
ʹAhlal
(with the) People of the Book
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
Kitaabi
(with the) People of the Book
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
بِٱلَّتِي
billatee
by which
هِيَ
hiya
[it]
أَحۡسَنُ
ʹaḥsanu
(is) best
إِلَّا
ʹillal
except
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
ظَلَمُواْ
z̤̣alamoo
(do) wrong
مِنۡهُمۡۖ
minhum
among them
وَقُولُوٓاْ
wa-q̣oolooo
and say
ءَامَنَّا
ʹaamannaa
We believe
بِٱلَّذِيٓ
billaẓeee
in that (which)
أُنزِلَ
ʹuñzila
has been revealed
إِلَيۡنَا
ʹilaynaa
to us
وَأُنزِلَ
wa-ʹuñzila
and was revealed
إِلَيۡكُمۡ
ʹilaykum
to you
وَإِلَٰهُنَا
wa-ʹIlaahunaa
And our God
وَإِلَٰهُكُمۡ
wa-ʹIlaahukum
and your God
وَٰحِدٞ
Waaḥiduñwwa
(is) One
وَنَحۡنُ
naḥnu
and we
لَهُۥ
lahoo
to Him
مُسۡلِمُونَ
Muslimoon.
submit
٤٦
29:47
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
Wa-kaẓaalika
And thus
أَنزَلۡنَآ
ʹañzalnaaa
We (have) revealed
إِلَيۡكَ
ʹilaykal
to you
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَۚ
Kitaab.
the Book
فَٱلَّذِينَ
Fallaẓeena
So those
ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمُ
ʹaataynaahumul
We gave [them]
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
Kitaaba
the Book
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yuʹminoona
believe
بِهِۦۖ
bihee
therein
وَمِنۡ
wa-min
And among
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haaaʹulaaaʹi
these
مَن
mañy
(are some) who
يُؤۡمِنُ
yuʹminu
believe
بِهِۦۚ
bih:
therein
وَمَا
wa-maa
And none
يَجۡحَدُ
yajḥadu
reject
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ
biʹAayaatinaaa
Our Verses
إِلَّا
ʹillal
except
ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ
kaafiroon.
the disbelievers
٤٧
29:48
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
كُنتَ
kuñta
(did) you
تَتۡلُواْ
tatloo
recite
مِن
miñ
before it
قَبۡلِهِۦ
q̣ablihee
before it
مِن
miñ
any
كِتَٰبٖ
kitaabiñw
Book
وَلَا
walaa
and not
تَخُطُّهُۥ
takhuṭṭuhoo
(did) you write it
بِيَمِينِكَۖ
biyameenika
with your right hand
إِذٗا
ʹiẓal
in that case
لَّٱرۡتَابَ
lartaabal
surely (would) have doubted
ٱلۡمُبۡطِلُونَ
mubṭiloon.
the falsifiers
٤٨
29:49
بَلۡ
Bal
Nay
هُوَ
huwa
it
ءَايَٰتُۢ
ʹAayaatum
(is) Verses
بَيِّنَٰتٞ
bayyinaatuñ
clear
فِي
fee
in
صُدُورِ
ṣudooril
(the) breasts
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
(of) those who
أُوتُواْ
ʹootul
are given
ٱلۡعِلۡمَۚ
ʻilm:
the knowledge
وَمَا
wa-maa
And not
يَجۡحَدُ
yajḥadu
reject
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ
biʹAayaatinaaa
Our Verses
إِلَّا
ʹillaz̤̣
except
ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
z̤̣aalimoon.
the wrongdoers
٤٩
29:50
وَقَالُواْ
Wa-q̣aaloo
And they say
لَوۡلَآ
Law-laaa
Why not
أُنزِلَ
ʹuñzila
are sent down
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
to him
ءَايَٰتٞ
ʹAayaatum
(the) Signs
مِّن
mir
from
رَّبِّهِۦۚ
Rabbih?
his Lord
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
إِنَّمَا
ʹinnamal
Only
ٱلۡأٓيَٰتُ
ʹAayaatu
the Signs
عِندَ
ʻiñdal
(are) with
ٱللَّهِ
laah:
Allah
وَإِنَّمَآ
wa-ʹinnamaaa
and only
أَنَا۠
ʹana
I (am)
نَذِيرٞ
naẓeerum
a warner
مُّبِينٌ
mubeen.
