فَٱنظُرۡ

Then see
كَيۡفَ

كَانَ

عَٰقِبَةُ
aqibatu
(the) end
مَكۡرِهِمۡ
makrihim
(of) their plot
أَنَّا
anna
that We
دَمَّرۡنَٰهُمۡ
dammarnahum
destroyed them
وَقَوۡمَهُمۡ
waqawmahum
and their people
أَجۡمَعِينَ
ajma'ina
all

27:52
فَتِلۡكَ
fatil'ka
So these
بُيُوتُهُمۡ
buyutuhum
(are) their houses
خَاوِيَةَۢ
khawiyatan
ruined
بِمَا
bima
because
ظَلَمُوٓاْۚ
zalamu
they wronged
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
فِي
fi
in
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
that
لَأٓيَةٗ
laayatan
surely is a sign
لِّقَوۡمٖ
liqawmin
for a people
يَعۡلَمُونَ
ya'lamuna
who know
٥٢
27:53
وَأَنجَيۡنَا
wa-anjayna
And We saved
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believed
وَكَانُواْ
wakanu
and used (to)
يَتَّقُونَ
yattaquna
fear (Allah)
٥٣
27:54
وَلُوطًا
walutan
And Lut
إِذۡ
idh
when
قَالَ
qala
he said
لِقَوۡمِهِۦٓ
liqawmihi
to his people
أَتَأۡتُونَ
atatuna
Do you commit
ٱلۡفَٰحِشَةَ
al-fahishata
[the] immorality
وَأَنتُمۡ
wa-antum
while you
تُبۡصِرُونَ
tub'siruna
see
٥٤
27:55
أَئِنَّكُمۡ
a-innakum
Why do you
لَتَأۡتُونَ
latatuna
approach
ٱلرِّجَالَ
al-rijala
the men
شَهۡوَةٗ
shahwatan
(with) lust
مِّن
min
instead of
دُونِ
duni
instead of
ٱلنِّسَآءِۚ
al-nisai
the women
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
أَنتُمۡ
antum
you
قَوۡمٞ
qawmun
(are) a people
تَجۡهَلُونَ
tajhaluna
ignorant

۞فَمَا
fama
But not
كَانَ
kana
was
جَوَابَ
jawaba
(the) answer
قَوۡمِهِۦٓ
qawmihi
(of) his people
إِلَّآ
illa
except
أَن
an
that
قَالُوٓاْ
qalu
they said
أَخۡرِجُوٓاْ
akhriju
Drive out
ءَالَ
ala
(the) family
لُوطٖ
lutin
(of) Lut
مِّن
min
from
قَرۡيَتِكُمۡۖ
qaryatikum
your town
إِنَّهُمۡ
innahum
Indeed they
أُنَاسٞ
unasun
(are) people
يَتَطَهَّرُونَ
yatatahharuna
who keep clean and pure
٥٦
27:57
فَأَنجَيۡنَٰهُ
fa-anjaynahu
So We saved him
وَأَهۡلَهُۥٓ
wa-ahlahu
and his family
إِلَّا
illa
except
ٱمۡرَأَتَهُۥ
im'ra-atahu
his wife
قَدَّرۡنَٰهَا
qaddarnaha
We destined her
مِنَ
mina
(to be) of
ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ
al-ghabirina
those who remained behind
٥٧
27:58
وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا
wa-amtarna
And We rained
عَلَيۡهِم
alayhim
upon them
مَّطَرٗاۖ
mataran
a rain
فَسَآءَ
fasaa
and was evil
مَطَرُ
mataru
(the) rain
ٱلۡمُنذَرِينَ
al-mundharina
(on) those who were warned
٥٨
27:59
قُلِ
quli
Say
ٱلۡحَمۡدُ
al-hamdu
All praise (be)
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
to Allah
وَسَلَٰمٌ
wasalamun
and peace (be)
عَلَىٰ
ala
upon
عِبَادِهِ
ibadihi
His slaves
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those whom
ٱصۡطَفَىٰٓۗ
is'tafa
He has chosen
ءَآللَّهُ
allahu
Is Allah
خَيۡرٌ
khayrun
better
أَمَّا
amma
or what
يُشۡرِكُونَ
yush'rikuna
they associate (with Him)
٥٩
27:60
أَمَّنۡ
amman
Or Who
خَلَقَ
khalaqa
has created
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ
wal-arda
and the earth
وَأَنزَلَ
wa-anzala
and sent down
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّنَ
mina
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
al-samai
the sky
مَآءٗ
maan
water
فَأَنۢبَتۡنَا
fa-anbatna
And We caused to grow
بِهِۦ
bihi
thereby
حَدَآئِقَ
hadaiqa
gardens
ذَاتَ
dhata
of beauty (and delight)
بَهۡجَةٖ
bahjatin
of beauty (and delight)
مَّا
ma
not
كَانَ
kana
it is
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
أَن
an
that
تُنۢبِتُواْ
tunbitu
you cause to grow
شَجَرَهَآۗ
shajaraha
their trees
أَءِلَٰهٞ
a-ilahun
Is there any god
مَّعَ
ma'a
with
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
Allah
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
هُمۡ
hum
they
قَوۡمٞ
qawmun
(are) a people
يَعۡدِلُونَ
ya'diluna
who ascribe equals
٦٠
27:61
أَمَّن
amman
Or Who
جَعَلَ
ja'ala
made
ٱلۡأَرۡضَ
al-arda
the earth
قَرَارٗا
qararan
a firm abode
وَجَعَلَ
waja'ala
and made
خِلَٰلَهَآ
khilalaha
(in) its midst
أَنۡهَٰرٗا
anharan
rivers
وَجَعَلَ
waja'ala
and made
لَهَا
laha
for it
رَوَٰسِيَ
rawasiya
firm mountains
وَجَعَلَ
waja'ala
and made
بَيۡنَ
bayna
between
ٱلۡبَحۡرَيۡنِ
al-bahrayni
the two seas
حَاجِزًاۗ
hajizan
a barrier
أَءِلَٰهٞ
a-ilahun
Is there any god
مَّعَ
ma'a
with
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
Allah
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ
aktharuhum
most of them
لَا
la
(do) not
يَعۡلَمُونَ
ya'lamuna
know
٦١
27:62
أَمَّن
amman
Or Who
يُجِيبُ
yujibu
responds
ٱلۡمُضۡطَرَّ
al-mud'tara
(to) the distressed one
إِذَا
idha
when
دَعَاهُ
da'ahu
he calls Him
وَيَكۡشِفُ
wayakshifu
and He removes
ٱلسُّوٓءَ
al-sua
the evil
وَيَجۡعَلُكُمۡ
wayaj'alukum
and makes you
خُلَفَآءَ
khulafaa
inheritors
ٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ
al-ardi
(of) the earth
أَءِلَٰهٞ
a-ilahun
Is there any god
مَّعَ
ma'a
with
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
Allah
قَلِيلٗا
qalilan
Little
مَّا
ma
(is) what
تَذَكَّرُونَ
tadhakkaruna
you remember
٦٢
27:63
أَمَّن
amman
Or Who
يَهۡدِيكُمۡ
yahdikum
guides you
فِي
fi
in
ظُلُمَٰتِ
zulumati
(the) darkness[es]
ٱلۡبَرِّ
al-bari
(of) the land
وَٱلۡبَحۡرِ
wal-bahri
and the sea
وَمَن
waman
and Who
يُرۡسِلُ
yur'silu
sends
ٱلرِّيَٰحَ
al-riyaha
the winds
بُشۡرَۢا
bush'ran
(as) glad tidings
بَيۡنَ
bayna
before
يَدَيۡ
yaday
before
رَحۡمَتِهِۦٓۗ
rahmatihi
His Mercy
أَءِلَٰهٞ
a-ilahun
Is there any god
مَّعَ
ma'a
with
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
Allah
تَعَٰلَى
ta'ala
High is
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
عَمَّا
amma
above what
يُشۡرِكُونَ
yush'rikuna
they associate (with Him)

أَمَّن
amman
Or Who
يَبۡدَؤُاْ
yabda-u
originates
ٱلۡخَلۡقَ
al-khalqa
the creation
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
يُعِيدُهُۥ
yu'iduhu
repeats it
وَمَن
waman
and Who
يَرۡزُقُكُم
yarzuqukum
provides you
مِّنَ
mina
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
al-samai
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ
wal-ardi
and the earth
أَءِلَٰهٞ
a-ilahun
Is there any god
مَّعَ
ma'a
with
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
Allah
قُلۡ
qul
Say
هَاتُواْ
hatu
Bring forth
بُرۡهَٰنَكُمۡ
bur'hanakum
your proof
إِن
in
if
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
you are
صَٰدِقِينَ
sadiqina
truthful
٦٤
27:65
قُل
qul
Say
لَّا
la
No (one)
يَعۡلَمُ
ya'lamu
knows
مَن
man
whoever
فِي
fi
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
wal-ardi
and the earth
ٱلۡغَيۡبَ
al-ghayba
(of) the unseen
إِلَّا
illa
except
ٱللَّهُۚ
al-lahu
Allah
وَمَا
wama
and not
يَشۡعُرُونَ
yash'uruna
they perceive
أَيَّانَ
ayyana
when
يُبۡعَثُونَ
yub'athuna
they will be resurrected
٦٥
27:66
بَلِ
bali
Nay
ٱدَّٰرَكَ
iddaraka
is arrested
عِلۡمُهُمۡ
il'muhum
their knowledge
فِي
fi
of
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۚ
al-akhirati
the Hereafter
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
هُمۡ
hum
they
فِي
fi
(are) in
شَكّٖ
shakkin
doubt
مِّنۡهَاۖ
min'ha
about it
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
هُم
hum
they
مِّنۡهَا
min'ha
about it
عَمُونَ
amuna
(are) blind
٦٦
27:67
وَقَالَ
waqala
And say
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُوٓاْ
kafaru
disbelieve
أَءِذَا
a-idha
What when
كُنَّا
kunna
we have become
تُرَٰبٗا
turaban
dust
وَءَابَآؤُنَآ
waabauna
and our forefathers
أَئِنَّا
a-inna
will we
لَمُخۡرَجُونَ
lamukh'rajuna
surely be brought out
٦٧
27:68
لَقَدۡ
laqad
Certainly
وُعِدۡنَا
wu'id'na
we have been promised
هَٰذَا
hadha
this
نَحۡنُ
nahnu
we
وَءَابَآؤُنَا
waabauna
and our forefathers
مِن
min
before
قَبۡلُ
qablu
before
إِنۡ
in
Not
هَٰذَآ
hadha
(is) this
إِلَّآ
illa
except
أَسَٰطِيرُ
asatiru
tales
ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
al-awalina
(of) the former (people)
٦٨
27:69
قُلۡ
qul
Say
سِيرُواْ
siru
Travel
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the land
فَٱنظُرُواْ
fa-unzuru
and see
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
كَانَ
kana
was
عَٰقِبَةُ
aqibatu
(the) end
ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ
al-muj'rimina
(of) the criminals
٦٩
27:70
وَلَا
wala
And (do) not
تَحۡزَنۡ
tahzan
grieve
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
alayhim
over them
وَلَا
wala
and not
تَكُن
takun
be
فِي
fi
in
ضَيۡقٖ
dayqin
distress
مِّمَّا
mimma
from what
يَمۡكُرُونَ
yamkuruna
they plot
٧٠
27:71
وَيَقُولُونَ
wayaquluna
And they say
مَتَىٰ
mata
When
هَٰذَا
hadha
(will) this
ٱلۡوَعۡدُ
al-wa'du
promise (be fulfilled)
إِن
in
if
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
you are
صَٰدِقِينَ
sadiqina
truthful
٧١
27:72
قُلۡ
qul
Say
عَسَىٰٓ
asa
Perhaps
أَن
an
that
يَكُونَ
yakuna
is
رَدِفَ
radifa
close behind
لَكُم
lakum
you
بَعۡضُ
ba'du
some
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
(of) that which
تَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ
tasta'jiluna
you seek to hasten
٧٢
27:73
وَإِنَّ
wa-inna
And indeed
رَبَّكَ
rabbaka
your Lord
لَذُو
ladhu
(is) full of Bounty
فَضۡلٍ
fadlin
(is) full of Bounty
عَلَى
ala
for
ٱلنَّاسِ
al-nasi
the mankind
وَلَٰكِنَّ
walakinna
but
أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ
aktharahum
most of them
لَا
la
(are) not
يَشۡكُرُونَ
yashkuruna
grateful
٧٣
27:74
وَإِنَّ
wa-inna
And indeed
رَبَّكَ
rabbaka
your Lord
لَيَعۡلَمُ
laya'lamu
surely knows
مَا
ma
what
تُكِنُّ
tukinnu
conceals
صُدُورُهُمۡ
suduruhum
their breasts
وَمَا
wama
and what
يُعۡلِنُونَ
yu'linuna
they declare
٧٤
27:75
وَمَا
wama
And not (is)
مِنۡ
min
any (thing)
غَآئِبَةٖ
ghaibatin
hidden
فِي
fi
in
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
al-samai
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
wal-ardi
and the earth
إِلَّا
illa
but
فِي
fi
(is) in
كِتَٰبٖ
kitabin
a Record
مُّبِينٍ
mubinin
clear
٧٥
