إِنَّا

Indeed we
نَطۡمَعُ
naṭmaʻu
hope
أَن
ʹañy
that
يَغۡفِرَ
yag̣fira
will forgive
لَنَا
lanaa
us
رَبُّنَا
Rabbunaa
our Lord
خَطَٰيَٰنَآ
khaṭaayaanaaa
our sins
أَن
ʹañ
because
كُنَّآ
kunnaaa
we are
أَوَّلَ
ʹawwalal
(the) first
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineen!
(of) the believers
٥١
26:52
۞وَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ
Wa-ʹawḥaynaaa
And We inspired
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
مُوسَىٰٓ
Moosaaa
Musa
أَنۡ
ʹan
[that]
أَسۡرِ
ʹasri
Travel by night
بِعِبَادِيٓ
biʻibaadeee
with My slaves
إِنَّكُم
ʹinnakum
indeed you
مُّتَّبَعُونَ
muttabaʻoon.
(will be) followed
٥٢
26:53
فَأَرۡسَلَ
Faʹarsala
Then sent
فِرۡعَوۡنُ
Firʻawnu
Firaun
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡمَدَآئِنِ
Madaaaʹini
the cities
حَٰشِرِينَ
ḥaashireen.
gatherers
٥٣
26:54
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haaaʹulaaaʹi
these
لَشِرۡذِمَةٞ
lashirẓimatuñ
(are) certainly a band
قَلِيلُونَ
q̣aleeloon,
small
٥٤
26:55
وَإِنَّهُمۡ
Wa-ʹinnahum
And indeed they
لَنَا
lanaa
[to] us
لَغَآئِظُونَ
lag̣aaaʹiz̤̣oon;
(are) surely enraging
٥٥
26:56
وَإِنَّا
Wa-ʹinnaa
And indeed we
لَجَمِيعٌ
lajameeʻun
(are) surely a multitude
حَٰذِرُونَ
ḥaaẓiroon.
forewarned
٥٦
26:57
فَأَخۡرَجۡنَٰهُم
Faʹakhrajnaahum
So We expelled them
مِّن
miñ
from
جَنَّٰتٖ
jannaatiñw
gardens
وَعُيُونٖ
waʻuyoon,
and springs
٥٧
26:58
وَكُنُوزٖ
Wa-kunooziñw
And treasures
وَمَقَامٖ
Wamaq̣aamiñ
and a place
كَرِيمٖ
kareem;
honorable
٥٨
26:59
كَذَٰلِكَۖ
Kaẓaalik:
Thus
وَأَوۡرَثۡنَٰهَا
wa-ʹawras̤naahaa
And We caused to inherit them
بَنِيٓ
Baneee
(the) Children of Israel
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
ʹIsraaaʹeel.
(the) Children of Israel
٥٩
26:60
فَأَتۡبَعُوهُم
Faʹatbaʻoohum
So they followed them
مُّشۡرِقِينَ
mushriq̣een.
(at) sunrise

26:61
فَلَمَّا
Faalammaa
Then when
تَرَٰٓءَا
taraaaʹal
saw each other
ٱلۡجَمۡعَانِ
jamʻaani
the two hosts
قَالَ
q̣aala
said
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ʹAṣḥaabu
(the) companions
مُوسَىٰٓ
Moosaaa
(of) Musa
إِنَّا
ʹinnaa
Indeed we
لَمُدۡرَكُونَ
lamudrakoon.
(are) surely to be overtaken
٦١
26:62
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
كـَلَّآۖ
kallaa!
Nay
إِنَّ
ʹInna
indeed
مَعِيَ
maʻiya
with me
رَبِّي
Rabbee
(is) my Lord
سَيَهۡدِينِ
sayahdeen!
He will guide me
٦٢
26:63
فَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ
Faʹawḥaynaaa
Then We inspired
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
مُوسَىٰٓ
Moosaaa
Musa
أَنِ
ʹaniḍ
[that]
ٱضۡرِب
rib
Strike
بِّعَصَاكَ
biʻaṣaakal
with your staff
ٱلۡبَحۡرَۖ
baḥr.
the sea
فَٱنفَلَقَ
Fañfalaq̣a
So it parted
فَكَانَ
fakaana
and became
كُلُّ
kullu
each
فِرۡقٖ
firq̣iñ
part
كَٱلطَّوۡدِ
kaṭṭawdil
like the mountain
ٱلۡعَظِيمِ
ʻaz̤̣eem.
[the] great
٦٣
26:64
وَأَزۡلَفۡنَا
Wa-ʹazlafnaa
And We brought near
ثَمَّ
s̤ammal
there
ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ
ʹaakhareen.
the others
٦٤
26:65
وَأَنجَيۡنَا
Wa-ʹañjaynaa
And We saved
مُوسَىٰ
Moosaa
Musa
وَمَن
wa-mam
and who
مَّعَهُۥٓ
maʻahooo
(were) with him
أَجۡمَعِينَ
ʹajmaʻeen;
all
٦٥
26:66
ثُمَّ
S̤umma
Then
أَغۡرَقۡنَا
ʹag̣raq̣nal
We drowned
ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ
ʹaakhareen.
the others
٦٦
26:67
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
فِي
fee
in
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
لَأٓيَةٗۖ
laʹAayah:
surely (is) a Sign
وَمَا
wa-maa
but not
كَانَ
kaana
are
أَكۡثَرُهُم
ʹaks̤aruhum
most of them
مُّؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineen.
believers
٦٧
26:68
وَإِنَّ
Wa-ʹinna
And indeed
رَبَّكَ
Rabbaka
your Lord
لَهُوَ
la-Huwal
surely He
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
ʻAzeezur
(is) the All-Mighty
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
Raḥeem.
the Most Merciful
٦٨
26:69
وَٱتۡلُ
Watlu
And recite
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
to them
نَبَأَ
nabaʹa
(the) news
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
ʹIbraaheem.
(of) Ibrahim
٦٩
26:70
إِذۡ
ʹIẓ
When
قَالَ
q̣aala
he said
لِأَبِيهِ
liʹabeehi
to his father
وَقَوۡمِهِۦ
wa-q̣awmihee
and his people
مَا
maa-
What
تَعۡبُدُونَ
taʻbudoon?
(do) you worship
٧٠
26:71
قَالُواْ
Q̣aaloo
They said
نَعۡبُدُ
naʻbudu
We worship
أَصۡنَامٗا
ʹaṣnaamañ
idols
فَنَظَلُّ
fanaz̤̣allu
so we will remain
لَهَا
lahaa
to them
عَٰكِفِينَ
ʻaakifeen.
devoted
٧١
26:72
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
هَلۡ
hal
Do
يَسۡمَعُونَكُمۡ
yasmaʻoonakum
they hear you
إِذۡ
ʹiẓ
when
تَدۡعُونَ
tadʻoon.
you call
٧٢
26:73
أَوۡ
ʹAw
Or
يَنفَعُونَكُمۡ
yañfaʻoonakum
(do) they benefit you
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
يَضُرُّونَ
yaḍurroon?
they harm (you)
٧٣
26:74
قَالُواْ
Q̣aaloo
They said
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
وَجَدۡنَآ
wajadnaaa
but we found
ءَابَآءَنَا
ʹaabaaaʹanaa
our forefathers
كَذَٰلِكَ
kaẓaalika
like that
يَفۡعَلُونَ
yafʻaloon.
doing
٧٤
26:75
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
أَفَرَءَيۡتُم
ʹafaraʹaytum
Do you see
مَّا
maa
what
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you have been
تَعۡبُدُونَ
taʻbudoon,
worshipping
٧٥
