وَرَبُّ

ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

(of) your forefathers

قَالَ

He said
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
رَسُولَكُمُ
rasulakumu
your Messenger
ٱلَّذِيٓ
alladhi
who
أُرۡسِلَ
ur'sila
has been sent
إِلَيۡكُمۡ
ilaykum
to you
لَمَجۡنُونٞ
lamajnunun
(is) surely mad
٢٧
26:28
قَالَ
qala
He said
رَبُّ
rabbu
Lord
ٱلۡمَشۡرِقِ
al-mashriqi
(of) the east
وَٱلۡمَغۡرِبِ
wal-maghribi
and the west
وَمَا
wama
and whatever
بَيۡنَهُمَآۖ
baynahuma
(is) between them
إِن
in
if
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
you were
تَعۡقِلُونَ
ta'qiluna
(to) reason

26:29
قَالَ
qala
He said
لَئِنِ
la-ini
If
ٱتَّخَذۡتَ
ittakhadhta
you take
إِلَٰهًا
ilahan
a god
غَيۡرِي
ghayri
other than me
لَأَجۡعَلَنَّكَ
la-aj'alannaka
I will surely make you
مِنَ
mina
among
ٱلۡمَسۡجُونِينَ
al-masjunina
those imprisoned
٢٩
26:30
قَالَ
qala
He said
أَوَلَوۡ
awalaw
Even if
جِئۡتُكَ
ji'tuka
I bring you
بِشَيۡءٖ
bishayin
something
مُّبِينٖ
mubinin
manifest
٣٠
26:31
قَالَ
qala
He said
فَأۡتِ
fati
Then bring
بِهِۦٓ
bihi
it
إِن
in
if
كُنتَ
kunta
you are
مِنَ
mina
of
ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
al-sadiqina
the truthful
٣١
26:32
فَأَلۡقَىٰ
fa-alqa
So he threw
عَصَاهُ
asahu
his staff
فَإِذَا
fa-idha
and behold
هِيَ
hiya
It
ثُعۡبَانٞ
thu'banun
(was) a serpent
مُّبِينٞ
mubinun
manifest
٣٢
26:33
وَنَزَعَ
wanaza'a
And he drew out
يَدَهُۥ
yadahu
his hand
فَإِذَا
fa-idha
and behold
هِيَ
hiya
It
بَيۡضَآءُ
baydau
(was) white
لِلنَّٰظِرِينَ
lilnnazirina
for the observers
٣٣
26:34
قَالَ
qala
He said
لِلۡمَلَإِ
lil'mala-i
to the chiefs
حَوۡلَهُۥٓ
hawlahu
around him
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
هَٰذَا
hadha
this
لَسَٰحِرٌ
lasahirun
(is) surely a magician
عَلِيمٞ
alimun
learned
٣٤
26:35
يُرِيدُ
yuridu
He wants
أَن
an
to
يُخۡرِجَكُم
yukh'rijakum
drive you out
مِّنۡ
min
from
أَرۡضِكُم
ardikum
your land
بِسِحۡرِهِۦ
bisih'rihi
by his magic
فَمَاذَا
famadha
so what
تَأۡمُرُونَ
tamuruna
(do) you advise

26:36
قَالُوٓاْ
qalu
They said
أَرۡجِهۡ
arjih
Postpone him
وَأَخَاهُ
wa-akhahu
and his brother
وَٱبۡعَثۡ
wa-ib'ath
and send
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡمَدَآئِنِ
al-madaini
the cities
حَٰشِرِينَ
hashirina
gatherers
٣٦
26:37
يَأۡتُوكَ
yatuka
They (will) bring to you
بِكُلِّ
bikulli
every
سَحَّارٍ
sahharin
magician
عَلِيمٖ
alimin
learned
٣٧
26:38
فَجُمِعَ
fajumi'a
So were assembled
ٱلسَّحَرَةُ
al-saharatu
the magicians
لِمِيقَٰتِ
limiqati
for (the) appointment
يَوۡمٖ
yawmin
(on) a day
مَّعۡلُومٖ
ma'lumin
well-known
٣٨
26:39
وَقِيلَ
waqila
And it was said
لِلنَّاسِ
lilnnasi
to the people
هَلۡ
hal
Will
أَنتُم
antum
you
مُّجۡتَمِعُونَ
muj'tami'una
assemble

لَعَلَّنَا
la'allana
That we may
نَتَّبِعُ
nattabi'u
follow
ٱلسَّحَرَةَ
al-saharata
the magicians
إِن
in
if
كَانُواْ
kanu
they are
هُمُ
humu
they are
ٱلۡغَٰلِبِينَ
al-ghalibina
the victorious
٤٠
26:41
فَلَمَّا
falamma
So when
جَآءَ
jaa
came
ٱلسَّحَرَةُ
al-saharatu
the magicians
قَالُواْ
qalu
they said
لِفِرۡعَوۡنَ
lifir'awna
to Firaun
أَئِنَّ
a-inna
Is there
لَنَا
lana
for us
لَأَجۡرًا
la-ajran
a reward
إِن
in
if
كُنَّا
kunna
we are
نَحۡنُ
nahnu
we are
ٱلۡغَٰلِبِينَ
al-ghalibina
the victorious
٤١
26:42
قَالَ
qala
He said
نَعَمۡ
na'am
Yes
وَإِنَّكُمۡ
wa-innakum
and indeed you
إِذٗا
idhan
then
لَّمِنَ
lamina
surely (will be) of
ٱلۡمُقَرَّبِينَ
al-muqarabina
the ones who are brought near
٤٢
26:43
قَالَ
qala
Said
لَهُم
lahum
to them
مُّوسَىٰٓ
musa
Musa
أَلۡقُواْ
alqu
Throw
مَآ
ma
what
أَنتُم
antum
you
مُّلۡقُونَ
mul'quna
(are) going to throw
٤٣
26:44
فَأَلۡقَوۡاْ
fa-alqaw
So they threw
حِبَالَهُمۡ
hibalahum
their ropes
وَعِصِيَّهُمۡ
wa'isiyyahum
and their staffs
وَقَالُواْ
waqalu
and said
بِعِزَّةِ
bi'izzati
By the might
فِرۡعَوۡنَ
fir'awna
(of) Firaun
إِنَّا
inna
indeed we
لَنَحۡنُ
lanahnu
surely we
ٱلۡغَٰلِبُونَ
al-ghalibuna
(are) the victorious
٤٤
26:45
فَأَلۡقَىٰ
fa-alqa
Then threw
مُوسَىٰ
musa
Musa
عَصَاهُ
asahu
his staff
فَإِذَا
fa-idha
and behold
هِيَ
hiya
It
تَلۡقَفُ
talqafu
swallowed
مَا
ma
what
يَأۡفِكُونَ
yafikuna
they falsified
٤٥
26:46
فَأُلۡقِيَ
fa-ul'qiya
Then fell down
ٱلسَّحَرَةُ
al-saharatu
the magicians
سَٰجِدِينَ
sajidina
prostrate
٤٦
26:47
قَالُوٓاْ
qalu
They said
ءَامَنَّا
amanna
We believe
بِرَبِّ
birabbi
in (the) Lord
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
al-'alamina
(of) the worlds
٤٧
26:48
رَبِّ
rabbi
Lord
مُوسَىٰ
musa
(of) Musa
وَهَٰرُونَ
waharuna
and Harun
٤٨
26:49
قَالَ
qala
He said
ءَامَنتُمۡ
amantum
You believed
لَهُۥ
lahu
in him
قَبۡلَ
qabla
before
أَنۡ
an
[that]
ءَاذَنَ
adhana
I gave permission
لَكُمۡۖ
lakum
to you
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed he
لَكَبِيرُكُمُ
lakabirukumu
(is) surely your chief
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
who
عَلَّمَكُمُ
allamakumu
has taught you
ٱلسِّحۡرَ
al-sih'ra
the magic
فَلَسَوۡفَ
falasawfa
so surely soon
تَعۡلَمُونَۚ
ta'lamuna
you will know
لَأُقَطِّعَنَّ
la-uqatti'anna
I will surely cut off
أَيۡدِيَكُمۡ
aydiyakum
your hands
وَأَرۡجُلَكُم
wa-arjulakum
and your feet
مِّنۡ
min
of
خِلَٰفٖ
khilafin
opposite sides
وَلَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمۡ
wala-usallibannakum
and I will surely crucify you
أَجۡمَعِينَ
ajma'ina
all
٤٩
26:50
قَالُواْ
qalu
They said
لَا
la
No
ضَيۡرَۖ
dayra
harm
إِنَّآ
inna
Indeed we
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
رَبِّنَا
rabbina
our Lord
مُنقَلِبُونَ
munqalibuna
(will) return
٥٠
