26:26قَالَQ̣aalaHe saidرَبُّكُمۡRabbukumYour Lordوَرَبُّwa-Rabbuand (the) Lordءَابَآئِكُمُʹaabaaaʹikumul(of) your forefathersٱلۡأَوَّلِينَʹawwaleen!(of) your forefathers٢٦
26:27قَالَQ̣aalaHe saidإِنَّʹinnaIndeedرَسُولَكُمُrasoolakumulyour Messengerٱلَّذِيٓlaẓeeewhoأُرۡسِلَʹursilahas been sentإِلَيۡكُمۡʹilaykumto youلَمَجۡنُونٞlamajnoon!(is) surely mad٢٧
26:28قَالَQ̣aalaHe saidرَبُّRabbulLordٱلۡمَشۡرِقِmashriq̣i(of) the eastوَٱلۡمَغۡرِبِwal-mag̣ribiand the westوَمَاwa-maaand whateverبَيۡنَهُمَآۖbaynahumaa!(is) between themإِنʹiñifكُنتُمۡkuñtumyou wereتَعۡقِلُونَtaʻq̣iloon!(to) reason٢٨
26:29قَالَQ̣aalaHe saidلَئِنِlaʹinitIfٱتَّخَذۡتَtakhaẓtayou takeإِلَٰهًاʹilaahana godغَيۡرِيg̣ayreeother than meلَأَجۡعَلَنَّكَlaʹajʻalannakaI will surely make youمِنَminalamongٱلۡمَسۡجُونِينَmasjooneen!those imprisoned٢٩
26:30قَالَQ̣aalaHe saidأَوَلَوۡʹawalawEven ifجِئۡتُكَjiʹtukaI bring youبِشَيۡءٖbishayʹimsomethingمُّبِينٖmubeen?manifest٣٠
26:31قَالَQ̣aalaHe saidفَأۡتِfaʹtiThen bringبِهِۦٓbiheeeitإِنʹiñifكُنتَkuñtayou areمِنَminaṣofٱلصَّٰدِقِينَṣaadiq̣een!the truthful٣١
26:32فَأَلۡقَىٰFaʹalq̣aaSo he threwعَصَاهُʻaṣaahuhis staffفَإِذَاfaʹiẓaaand beholdهِيَhiyaItثُعۡبَانٞs̤uʻbaanum(was) a serpentمُّبِينٞmubeen!manifest٣٢
26:33وَنَزَعَWa-nazaʻaAnd he drew outيَدَهُۥyadahoohis handفَإِذَاfaʹiẓaaand beholdهِيَhiyaItبَيۡضَآءُbayḍaaaʹu(was) whiteلِلنَّٰظِرِينَlinnaaz̤̣ireen!for the observers٣٣
26:34قَالَQ̣aalaHe saidلِلۡمَلَإِlilmalaʹito the chiefsحَوۡلَهُۥٓḥawlahoooaround himإِنَّʹinnaIndeedهَٰذَاhaazaathisلَسَٰحِرٌlasaaḥirun(is) surely a magicianعَلِيمٞʻaleem:learned٣٤
26:35يُرِيدُYureeduHe wantsأَنʹañytoيُخۡرِجَكُمyukhrijakumdrive you outمِّنۡminfromأَرۡضِكُمʹarḍikum̃your landبِسِحۡرِهِۦbisiḥriheeby his magicفَمَاذَاfamaaẓaaso whatتَأۡمُرُونَtaʹmuroon?(do) you advise٣٥
26:36قَالُوٓاْQ̣aaloooThey saidأَرۡجِهۡʹarjihPostpone himوَأَخَاهُwa-ʹakhaahuand his brotherوَٱبۡعَثۡwabʻas̤and sendفِيfilinٱلۡمَدَآئِنِMadaaaʹinithe citiesحَٰشِرِينَḥaashireen―gatherers ٣٦
26:37يَأۡتُوكَYaʹtookaThey (will) bring to youبِكُلِّbikullieveryسَحَّارٍsaḥ-ḥaarinmagicianعَلِيمٖʻaleem.learned٣٧
26:38فَجُمِعَFajumiʻasSo were assembledٱلسَّحَرَةُsaḥaratuthe magiciansلِمِيقَٰتِlimeeq̣aatifor (the) appointmentيَوۡمٖYawmim(on) a dayمَّعۡلُومٖmaʻloom,well-known٣٨
26:39وَقِيلَWa-q̣eelaAnd it was saidلِلنَّاسِlinnaasito the peopleهَلۡhalWillأَنتُمʹañtumyouمُّجۡتَمِعُونَmujtamiʻoon,assemble٣٩
26:40لَعَلَّنَاLaʻallanaaThat we mayنَتَّبِعُnattabiʻusfollowٱلسَّحَرَةَsaḥaratathe magiciansإِنʹiñifكَانُواْkaanoothey areهُمُhumulthey areٱلۡغَٰلِبِينَg̣aalibeen?the victorious٤٠
26:41فَلَمَّاFalammaaSo whenجَآءَjaaaʹascameٱلسَّحَرَةُsaḥaratuthe magiciansقَالُواْq̣aaloothey saidلِفِرۡعَوۡنَli-Firʻawnato FiraunأَئِنَّʹaʹinnaIs thereلَنَاlanaafor usلَأَجۡرًاlaʹajrana rewardإِنʹiñifكُنَّاkunnaawe areنَحۡنُnaḥnulwe areٱلۡغَٰلِبِينَg̣aalibeen?the victorious٤١
26:42قَالَQ̣aalaHe saidنَعَمۡnaʻamYesوَإِنَّكُمۡwa-ʹinnakumand indeed youإِذٗاʹiẓalthenلَّمِنَlaminalsurely (will be) ofٱلۡمُقَرَّبِينَmuq̣arrabeen.the ones who are brought near٤٢
26:43قَالَQ̣aalaSaidلَهُمlahumto themمُّوسَىٰٓMoosaaaMusaأَلۡقُواْʹalq̣ooThrowمَآmaaawhatأَنتُمʹañtumyouمُّلۡقُونَmulq̣oon!(are) going to throw٤٣
26:44فَأَلۡقَوۡاْFaʹalq̣awSo they threwحِبَالَهُمۡḥibaalahumtheir ropesوَعِصِيَّهُمۡwa-ʻiṣiyyahumand their staffsوَقَالُواْwa-q̣aalooand saidبِعِزَّةِbiʻizzatiBy the mightفِرۡعَوۡنَFirʻawna(of) Firaunإِنَّاʹinnaaindeed weلَنَحۡنُlanaḥnulsurely weٱلۡغَٰلِبُونَg̣aaliboon!(are) the victorious٤٤
26:45فَأَلۡقَىٰFaʹalq̣aaThen threwمُوسَىٰMoosaaMusaعَصَاهُʻaṣaahuhis staffفَإِذَاfaʹiẓaaand beholdهِيَhiyaItتَلۡقَفُtalq̣afuswallowedمَاmaa-whatيَأۡفِكُونَyaʹfikoon!they falsified٤٥
26:46فَأُلۡقِيَFaʹulq̣iyasThen fell downٱلسَّحَرَةُsaḥaratuthe magiciansسَٰجِدِينَsaajideen.prostrate٤٦
26:47قَالُوٓاْQ̣aaloooThey saidءَامَنَّاʹaamannaaWe believeبِرَبِّbi-Rabbilin (the) Lordٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَʻaalameen.(of) the worlds٤٧
26:49قَالَQ̣aalaHe saidءَامَنتُمۡʹaamañtumYou believedلَهُۥlahooin himقَبۡلَq̣ablabeforeأَنۡʹan[that]ءَاذَنَʹaaẓanaI gave permissionلَكُمۡۖlakum?to youإِنَّهُۥʹInnahooIndeed heلَكَبِيرُكُمُlakabeerukumul(is) surely your chiefٱلَّذِيlaẓeewhoعَلَّمَكُمُʻallamakumushas taught youٱلسِّحۡرَsiḥr!the magicفَلَسَوۡفَFalasawfaso surely soonتَعۡلَمُونَۚtaʻlamoon!you will knowلَأُقَطِّعَنَّLaʹuq̣aṭṭiʻannaI will surely cut offأَيۡدِيَكُمۡʹaydiyakumyour handsوَأَرۡجُلَكُمwa-ʹarjulakumand your feetمِّنۡminofخِلَٰفٖkhilaafiñwopposite sidesوَلَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمۡwalaʹuṣallibannakumand I will surely crucify youأَجۡمَعِينَʹajmaʻeen!all٤٩
26:50قَالُواْQ̣aalooThey saidلَاlaa-NoضَيۡرَۖḍayraharmإِنَّآʹinnaaaIndeed weإِلَىٰʹilaatoرَبِّنَاRabbinaaour Lordمُنقَلِبُونَmuñq̣aliboon!(will) return٥٠
