يُؤۡمِنُونَ

they will believe
بِهِۦ

حَتَّىٰ

يَرَوُاْ

ٱلۡعَذَابَ
ʻaẓabal
the punishment
ٱلۡأَلِيمَ
ʹaleem;
[the] painful

26:202
فَيَأۡتِيَهُم
Fayaʹtiyahum̃
And it will come to them
بَغۡتَةٗ
bag̣tatañw
suddenly
وَهُمۡ
wahum
while they
لَا
laa-
(do) not
يَشۡعُرُونَ
yashʻuroon.
perceive
٢٠٢
26:203
فَيَقُولُواْ
Fayaq̣ooloo
Then they will say
هَلۡ
hal
Are
نَحۡنُ
naḥnu
we
مُنظَرُونَ
muñz̤̣aroon.
(to be) reprieved
٢٠٣
26:204
أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا
ʹAfabiʻaẓaabinaa
So is it for Our punishment
يَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ
yastaʻjiloon?
they wish to hasten
٢٠٤
26:205
أَفَرَءَيۡتَ
ʹAfaraʹayta
Then have you seen
إِن
ʹim
if
مَّتَّعۡنَٰهُمۡ
mattaʻnaahum
We let them enjoy
سِنِينَ
sineen.
(for) years
٢٠٥
26:206
ثُمَّ
S̤umma
Then
جَآءَهُم
jaaaʹahum
comes to them
مَّا
maa
what
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they were
يُوعَدُونَ
yooʻadoon!
promised
٢٠٦

مَآ
Maaa
Not
أَغۡنَىٰ
ʹag̣naa
(will) avail
عَنۡهُم
ʻanhum
them
مَّا
maa
what
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
enjoyment they were given
يُمَتَّعُونَ
yumattaʻoon!
enjoyment they were given
٢٠٧
26:208
وَمَآ
Wa-maaa
And not
أَهۡلَكۡنَا
ʹahlaknaa
We destroyed
مِن
miñ
any
قَرۡيَةٍ
q̣aryatin
town
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
but
لَهَا
lahaa
it had
مُنذِرُونَ
muñẓiroon.
warners

26:209
ذِكۡرَىٰ
Ẓikraa
(To) remind
وَمَا
wa-maa
and not
كُنَّا
kunnaa
We are
ظَٰلِمِينَ
z̤̣aalimeen.
unjust
٢٠٩
26:210
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
تَنَزَّلَتۡ
tanazzalat
have brought it down
بِهِ
bihish
have brought it down
ٱلشَّيَٰطِينُ
shayaaṭeen;
the devils
٢١٠
26:211
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
يَنۢبَغِي
yambag̣ee
(it) suits
لَهُمۡ
lahum
[for] them
وَمَا
wa-maa
and not
يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ
yastaṭeeʻoon.
they are able
٢١١
26:212
إِنَّهُمۡ
ʹInnahum
Indeed they
عَنِ
ʻanis
from
ٱلسَّمۡعِ
samʻi
the hearing
لَمَعۡزُولُونَ
lamaʻzooloon.
(are) surely banished
٢١٢
26:213
فَلَا
Falaa
So (do) not
تَدۡعُ
tadʻu
invoke
مَعَ
maʻal
with
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
إِلَٰهًا
ʹilaahan
god
ءَاخَرَ
ʹaakhara
another
فَتَكُونَ
fatakoona
lest you be
مِنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡمُعَذَّبِينَ
muʻaẓẓabeen.
those punished
٢١٣
26:214
وَأَنذِرۡ
Wa-ʹañẓir
And warn
عَشِيرَتَكَ
ʻasheeratakal
your kindred
ٱلۡأَقۡرَبِينَ
ʹaq̣rabeen,
[the] closest
٢١٤
26:215
وَٱخۡفِضۡ
Wakhfiḍ
And lower
جَنَاحَكَ
janaaḥaka
your wing
لِمَنِ
limanit
to (those) who
ٱتَّبَعَكَ
tabaʻaka
follow you
مِنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineen.
the believers
٢١٥
26:216
فَإِنۡ
Faʹin
Then if
عَصَوۡكَ
ʻaṣawka
they disobey you
فَقُلۡ
faq̣ul
then say
إِنِّي
ʹinnee
Indeed I am
بَرِيٓءٞ
bareeeʹum
innocent
مِّمَّا
mimmaa
of what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
taʻmaloon!
you do
٢١٦
26:217
وَتَوَكَّلۡ
Wa-tawakkal
And put (your) trust
عَلَى
ʻalal
in
ٱلۡعَزِيزِ
ʻAzeezir
the All-Mighty
ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Raḥeem.
the Most Merciful
٢١٧
26:218
ٱلَّذِي
ʹAllaẓee
The One Who
يَرَىٰكَ
yaraaka
sees you
حِينَ
ḥeena
when
تَقُومُ
taq̣oom,
you stand up
٢١٨
26:219
وَتَقَلُّبَكَ
Wa-taq̣allubaka
And your movements
فِي
fis
among
ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ
saajideen.
those who prostrate
٢١٩
26:220
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹInnahoo
Indeed He
هُوَ
Huwas
[He]
ٱلسَّمِيعُ
Sameeʻul
(is) the All-Hearer
ٱلۡعَلِيمُ
ʻAleem.
the All-Knower
٢٢٠
26:221
هَلۡ
Hal
Shall
أُنَبِّئُكُمۡ
ʹunabbiʹukum
I inform you
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
upon
مَن
mañ
whom
تَنَزَّلُ
tanazzalush
descend
ٱلشَّيَٰطِينُ
shayaaṭeen?
the devils
٢٢١
26:222
تَنَزَّلُ
Tanazzalu
They descend
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
upon
كُلِّ
kulli
every
أَفَّاكٍ
ʹaffaakin
liar
أَثِيمٖ
ʹas̤eem,
sinful
٢٢٢
26:223
يُلۡقُونَ
Yulq̣oonas
They pass on
ٱلسَّمۡعَ
samʻa
(what is) heard
وَأَكۡثَرُهُمۡ
wa-ʹaks̤aruhum
and most of them
كَٰذِبُونَ
kaaẓiboon.
(are) liars
٢٢٣
26:224
وَٱلشُّعَرَآءُ
Washshuʻaraaaʹu
And the poets
يَتَّبِعُهُمُ
yattabiʻuhumul
follow them
ٱلۡغَاوُۥنَ
g̣aawoon:
the deviators
٢٢٤
26:225
أَلَمۡ
ʹAlam
Do not
تَرَ
tara
you see
أَنَّهُمۡ
ʹannahum
that they
فِي
fee
in
كُلِّ
kulli
every
وَادٖ
waadiñy
valley
يَهِيمُونَ
yaheemoon.
[they] roam
٢٢٥
