ٱلَّذِينَ
ʹAllaẓeena
Those who
يُفۡسِدُونَ
yufsidoona
spread corruption
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
وَلَا
wa-laa
and (do) not
يُصۡلِحُونَ
yuṣliḥoon.

26:153
قَالُوٓاْ
Q̣aalooo
They said
إِنَّمَآ
ʹinnamaaa
Only
أَنتَ
ʹañta
you
مِنَ
minal
(are) of
ٱلۡمُسَحَّرِينَ
musaḥḥareen!
those bewitched
١٥٣
26:154
مَآ
Maaa
Not
أَنتَ
ʹañta
you
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
(are) except
بَشَرٞ
basharum
a man
مِّثۡلُنَا
mis̤lunaa:
like us
فَأۡتِ
faʹti
so bring
بِـَٔايَةٍ
biʹAayatin
a sign
إِن
ʹiñ
if
كُنتَ
kuñta
you
مِنَ
minaṣ
(are) of
ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
Ṣaadiq̣een!
the truthful
١٥٤
26:155
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
هَٰذِهِۦ
haẓihee
This
نَاقَةٞ
naaq̣atul
(is) a she-camel
لَّهَا
lahaa
For her
شِرۡبٞ
shirbuñw
(is a share of) drink
وَلَكُمۡ
walakum
and for you
شِرۡبُ
shirbu
(is a share of) drink
يَوۡمٖ
yawmim
(on) a day
مَّعۡلُومٖ
maʻloom.
known

26:156
وَلَا
Walaa
And (do) not
تَمَسُّوهَا
tamassoohaa
touch her
بِسُوٓءٖ
bisoooʹiñ
with harm
فَيَأۡخُذَكُمۡ
fayaʹkhuẓakum
lest seize you
عَذَابُ
ʻAẓaabu
(the) punishment
يَوۡمٍ
yawmin
(of) a Day
عَظِيمٖ
ʻaz̤̣eem.
Great
١٥٦
26:157
فَعَقَرُوهَا
Faʻaq̣aroohaa
But they hamstrung her
فَأَصۡبَحُواْ
faʹaṣbaḥoo
then they became
نَٰدِمِينَ
naadimeen.
regretful
١٥٧
26:158
فَأَخَذَهُمُ
Faʹakhaẓahumul
So seized them
ٱلۡعَذَابُۚ
ʻAẓaab.
the punishment
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
فِي
fee
in
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
لَأٓيَةٗۖ
laʹAayah:
surely is a sign
وَمَا
wa-maa
but not
كَانَ
kaana
are
أَكۡثَرُهُم
ʹaks̤aruhum
most of them
مُّؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineen.
believers
١٥٨
26:159
وَإِنَّ
Wa-ʹinna
And indeed
رَبَّكَ
Rabbaka
your Lord
لَهُوَ
la-Huwal
surely He
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
ʹAzeezur
(is) the All-Mighty
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
Raḥeem.
the Most Merciful

كَذَّبَتۡ
Kaẓẓabat
Denied
قَوۡمُ
q̣awmu
(the) people
لُوطٍ
Looṭinil
(of) Lut
ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
mursaleen.
the Messengers
١٦٠
26:161
إِذۡ
ʹIẓ
When
قَالَ
q̣aala
said
لَهُمۡ
lahum
to them
أَخُوهُمۡ
ʹakhoohum
their brother
لُوطٌ
Looṭun
Lut
أَلَا
ʹalaa
Will not
تَتَّقُونَ
tattaq̣oon?
you fear (Allah)
١٦١
26:162
إِنِّي
ʹInnee
Indeed I am
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
رَسُولٌ
rasoolun
a Messenger
أَمِينٞ
ʹameen.
trustworthy
١٦٢
26:163
فَٱتَّقُواْ
Fattaq̣ul
So fear
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
وَأَطِيعُونِ
wa-ʹaṭeeʻoon.
and obey me
١٦٣
26:164
وَمَآ
Wa-maaa
And not
أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ
ʹasʹalukum
I ask you
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
for it
مِنۡ
min
any
أَجۡرٍۖ
ʹajr:
payment
إِنۡ
ʹIn
Not
أَجۡرِيَ
ʹajriya
(is) my payment
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
from
رَبِّ
Rabbil
(the) Lord
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
ʻAalameen.
(of) the worlds
١٦٤
26:165
أَتَأۡتُونَ
ʹAtaʹtoonaẓ
Do you approach
ٱلذُّكۡرَانَ
ẓukraana
the males
مِنَ
minal
among
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
ʻaalameen,
the worlds
١٦٥
26:166
وَتَذَرُونَ
Wataẓaroona
And you leave
مَا
maa-
what
خَلَقَ
khalaq̣a
created
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
رَبُّكُم
Rabbukum
your Lord
مِّنۡ
min
of
أَزۡوَٰجِكُمۚ
ʹazwaajikum?
your mates
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
أَنتُمۡ
ʹañtum
you
قَوۡمٌ
q̣awmun
(are) a people
عَادُونَ
ʻaadoon!
transgressing
١٦٦
26:167
قَالُواْ
Q̣aaloo
They said
لَئِن
laʹil
If
لَّمۡ
lam
not
تَنتَهِ
tañtahi
you desist
يَٰلُوطُ
yaa-Looṭu
O Lut
لَتَكُونَنَّ
latakoonanna
Surely you will be
مِنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡمُخۡرَجِينَ
mukhrajeen!
the ones driven out
١٦٧
26:168
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
إِنِّي
ʹinnee
Indeed I am
لِعَمَلِكُم
liʻamalikum
(of) your deed
مِّنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡقَالِينَ
q̣aaleen.
those who detest
١٦٨
26:169
رَبِّ
Rabbi
My Lord
نَجِّنِي
najjinee
Save me
وَأَهۡلِي
wa-ʹahlee
and my family
مِمَّا
mimmaa
from what
يَعۡمَلُونَ
yaʻmaloon!
they do
١٦٩
26:170
فَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُ
Fanajjaynaahu
So We saved him
وَأَهۡلَهُۥٓ
wa-ʹahlahooo
and his family
أَجۡمَعِينَ
ʹajmaʻeen,
all
١٧٠
26:171
إِلَّا
ʹIllaa
Except
عَجُوزٗا
ʻajoozañ
an old woman
فِي
fil
(was) among
ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ
g̣aabireen.
those who remained behind
١٧١
26:172
ثُمَّ
S̤umma
Then
دَمَّرۡنَا
dammarnal
We destroyed
ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ
ʹaakhareen.
the others
١٧٢
26:173
وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا
Wa-ʹamṭarnaa
And We rained
عَلَيۡهِم
ʻalayhim
upon them
مَّطَرٗاۖ
maṭaraa:
a rain
فَسَآءَ
fasaaaʹa
and evil was
مَطَرُ
maṭarul
(was) the rain
ٱلۡمُنذَرِينَ
muñẓareen!
(on) those who were warned
١٧٣
26:174
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
فِي
fee
in
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
لَأٓيَةٗۖ
laʹAayah:
surely is a sign
وَمَا
wa-maa
but not
كَانَ
kaana
are
أَكۡثَرُهُم
ʹaks̤aruhum
most of them
مُّؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineen.
believers
١٧٤
26:175
وَإِنَّ
Wa-ʹinna
And indeed
رَبَّكَ
Rabbaka
your Lord
لَهُوَ
la-Huwal
surely He
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
ʻAzeezur
(is) the All-Mighty
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
Raḥeem.
the Most Merciful
