Wa-law
And if
شِئۡنَا

We willed
لَبَعَثۡنَا
labaʻas̤naa
surely We (would) have raised
فِي
fee
in
كُلِّ
kulli
every
قَرۡيَةٖ
q̣aryatin
town
نَّذِيرٗا
naẓeeraa.
a warner
٥١
25:52
فَلَا
Falaa
So (do) not
تُطِعِ
tuṭiʻil
obey
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
kaafireena
the disbelievers
وَجَٰهِدۡهُم
wa-jaahidhum̃
and strive (against) them
بِهِۦ
bihee
with it
جِهَادٗا
jihaadañ
a striving
كَبِيرٗا
kabeeraa.
great
٥٢
25:53
۞وَهُوَ
Wa-Huwal
And He
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
(is) the One Who
مَرَجَ
marajal
(has) released
ٱلۡبَحۡرَيۡنِ
baḥrayni
the two seas
هَٰذَا
haaẓaa
[this] (one)
عَذۡبٞ
ʻaẓbuñ
palatable
فُرَاتٞ
furaatuñw
and sweet
وَهَٰذَا
wahaaẓaa
and [this] (one)
مِلۡحٌ
milḥun
salty
أُجَاجٞ
ʹujaaj;
(and) bitter
وَجَعَلَ
wa-jaʻala
and He has made
بَيۡنَهُمَا
baynahumaa
between them
بَرۡزَخٗا
Barzakhañw
a barrier
وَحِجۡرٗا
Waḥijram
and a partition
مَّحۡجُورٗا
maḥjooraa.
forbidden
٥٣
25:54
وَهُوَ
Wa-Huwal
And He
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
(is) the One Who
خَلَقَ
khalaq̣a
has created
مِنَ
minal
from
ٱلۡمَآءِ
maaaʹi
the water
بَشَرٗا
basharañ
human being
فَجَعَلَهُۥ
fajaʻalahoo
and has made (for) him
نَسَبٗا
nasabañw
blood relationship
وَصِهۡرٗاۗ
waṣihraa:
and marriage relationship
وَكَانَ
wa-kaana
And is
رَبُّكَ
Rabbuka
your Lord
قَدِيرٗا
Q̣adeeraa.
All-Powerful
٥٤
25:55
وَيَعۡبُدُونَ
Wa-yaʻbudoona
But they worship
مِن
miñ
besides Allah
دُونِ
doonil
besides Allah
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
besides Allah
مَا
maa
what
لَا
laa-
not profits them
يَنفَعُهُمۡ
yañfaʻuhum
not profits them
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
يَضُرُّهُمۡۗ
yaḍurruhum:
harms them
وَكَانَ
wa-kaanal
and is
ٱلۡكَافِرُ
kaafiru
the disbeliever
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
against
رَبِّهِۦ
Rabbihee
his Lord
ظَهِيرٗا
z̤̣aheeraa!
a helper
٥٥

25:56
وَمَآ
Wa-maaa
And not
أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ
ʹarsalnaaka
We sent you
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
مُبَشِّرٗا
mubashshirañw
(as) a bearer of glad tidings
وَنَذِيرٗا
wanaẓeeraa.
and a warner
٥٦
25:57
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
مَآ
maaa
Not
أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ
ʹasʹalukum
I ask (of) you
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
for it
مِنۡ
min
any
أَجۡرٍ
ʹajrin
payment
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
مَن
mañ
(that) whoever wills
شَآءَ
shaaaʹa
(that) whoever wills
أَن
ʹañy
to
يَتَّخِذَ
yattakhiẓa
take
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
رَبِّهِۦ
Rabbihee
his Lord
سَبِيلٗا
Sabeelaa.
a way
٥٧
25:58
وَتَوَكَّلۡ
Wa-tawakkal
And put your trust
عَلَى
ʻalal
in
ٱلۡحَيِّ
Ḥayyil
the Ever-Living
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
the One Who
لَا
laa-
does not die
يَمُوتُ
yamootu
does not die
وَسَبِّحۡ
wa-sabbiḥ
and glorify
بِحَمۡدِهِۦۚ
bi-Ḥamdih;
with His Praise
وَكَفَىٰ
wa-kafaa
And sufficient is
بِهِۦ
bihee
He
بِذُنُوبِ
biẓunoobi
regarding the sins
عِبَادِهِۦ
ʻibaadihee
(of) His slaves
خَبِيرًا
khabeeraa;
All-Aware
٥٨
25:59
ٱلَّذِي
ʹAllaẓee
The One Who
خَلَقَ
khalaq̣as
created
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ
wal-ʹarḍa
and the earth
وَمَا
wa-maa
and whatever
بَيۡنَهُمَا
baynahumaa
(is) between them
فِي
fee
in
سِتَّةِ
sittati
six
أَيَّامٖ
ʹayyaamiñ
periods
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
ٱسۡتَوَىٰ
stawaa
He established Himself
عَلَى
ʻalal
over
ٱلۡعَرۡشِۖ
ʻArsh,
the Throne
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ
ʹAr-Raḥmaanu
the Most Gracious
فَسۡـَٔلۡ
fasʹal
so ask
بِهِۦ
bihee
Him
خَبِيرٗا
khabeeraa.
(as He is) All-Aware
٥٩
25:60
وَإِذَا
Wa-ʹiẓaa
And when
قِيلَ
q̣eela
it is said
لَهُمُ
lahumus
to them
ٱسۡجُدُواْۤ
judoo
Prostrate
لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ
lir-Raḥmaani
to the Most Gracious
قَالُواْ
q̣aaloo
They say
وَمَا
wa-mar
And what
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ
Raḥmaan?
(is) the Most Gracious
أَنَسۡجُدُ
ʹAnasjudu
Should we prostrate
لِمَا
limaa
to what
تَأۡمُرُنَا
taʹmurunaa
you order us
وَزَادَهُمۡ
wa-zaadahum
And it increases them
نُفُورٗا۩
nufooraa.
(in) aversion
٦٠
25:61
تَبَارَكَ
Tabaarakal
Blessed is He
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
Who
جَعَلَ
jaʻala
has placed
فِي
fis
in
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
samaaaʹi
the skies
بُرُوجٗا
Buroojañw
constellations
وَجَعَلَ
Wajaʻala
and has placed
فِيهَا
feehaa
therein
سِرَٰجٗا
siraajañw
a lamp
وَقَمَرٗا
waq̣amaram
and a moon
مُّنِيرٗا
muneeraa!
shining
٦١
25:62
وَهُوَ
Wa-Huwal
And He
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
(is) the One Who
جَعَلَ
jaʻalal
made
ٱلَّيۡلَ
layla
the night
وَٱلنَّهَارَ
wannahaara
and the day
خِلۡفَةٗ
khilfatal
(in) succession
لِّمَنۡ
liman
for whoever
أَرَادَ
ʹaraada
desires
أَن
ʹañy
to
يَذَّكَّرَ
yaẓẓakkara
remember
أَوۡ
aw
or
أَرَادَ
ʹaraada
desires
شُكُورٗا
shukooraa.
to be thankful
٦٢
25:63
وَعِبَادُ
Wa-ʻibaadur
And (the) slaves
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ
Raḥmaanil
(of) the Most Gracious
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
(are) those who
يَمۡشُونَ
yamshoona
walk
عَلَى
ʻalal
on
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
هَوۡنٗا
hawnañw
(in) humbleness
وَإِذَا
waʹiẓaa
and when
خَاطَبَهُمُ
khaaṭabahumul
address them
ٱلۡجَٰهِلُونَ
jaahiloona
the ignorant ones
قَالُواْ
q̣aaloo
they say
سَلَٰمٗا
˹Salaamaa!˺
Peace
٦٣
25:64
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
And those who
يَبِيتُونَ
yabeetoona
spend (the) night
لِرَبِّهِمۡ
li-Rabbihim
before their Lord
سُجَّدٗا
sujjadañw
prostrating
وَقِيَٰمٗا
waq̣iyaamaa;
and standing
٦٤
25:65
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
And those who
يَقُولُونَ
yaq̣ooloona
say
رَبَّنَا
Rabbanaṣ
Our Lord
ٱصۡرِفۡ
rif
Avert
عَنَّا
ʻannaa
from us
عَذَابَ
ʻAẓaaba
the punishment
جَهَنَّمَۖ
Jahannama
(of) Hell
إِنَّ
ʹinna
Indeed
عَذَابَهَا
ʻAẓaabahaa
its punishment
كَانَ
kaana
is
غَرَامًا
g̣araamaa,
inseparable
٦٥
25:66
إِنَّهَا
ʹInnahaa
Indeed it
سَآءَتۡ
saaaʹat
(is) an evil
مُسۡتَقَرّٗا
mustaq̣arrañw
abode
وَمُقَامٗا
wamuq̣aamaa.
and resting place
٦٦
25:67
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
And those who
إِذَآ
ʹiẓaaa
when
أَنفَقُواْ
ʹañfaq̣oo
they spend
لَمۡ
lam
(are) not extravagant
يُسۡرِفُواْ
yusrifoo
(are) not extravagant
وَلَمۡ
wa-lam
and are not stingy
يَقۡتُرُواْ
yaq̣turoo
and are not stingy
وَكَانَ
wa-kaana
but are
بَيۡنَ
bayna
between
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
قَوَامٗا
q̣awaamaa.
moderate
٦٧

25:68
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
And those who
لَا
laa-
(do) not
يَدۡعُونَ
yadʻoona
invoke
مَعَ
maʻal
with
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
إِلَٰهًا
ʹilaahan
god
ءَاخَرَ
ʹaakhara
another
وَلَا
wa-laa
and (do) not
يَقۡتُلُونَ
yaq̣tuloonan
[they] kill
ٱلنَّفۡسَ
nafsal
the soul
ٱلَّتِي
latee
which
حَرَّمَ
ḥarramal
Allah has forbidden
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah has forbidden
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
bilḥaq̣q̣i
by right
وَلَا
wa-laa
and (do) not
يَزۡنُونَۚ
yaznoon;
commit unlawful sexual intercourse
وَمَن
wa-mañy
And whoever
يَفۡعَلۡ
yafʻal
does
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
يَلۡقَ
yalq̣a
will meet
أَثَامٗا
ʹas̤aamaa,
a penalty
٦٨
25:69
يُضَٰعَفۡ
Yuḍaaʻaf
Will be doubled
لَهُ
lahul
for him
ٱلۡعَذَابُ
ʻAẓaabu
the punishment
يَوۡمَ
Yawmal
(on the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
Q̣iyaamati
(of) Resurrection
وَيَخۡلُدۡ
wa-yakhlud
and he will abide forever
فِيهِۦ
feehee
therein
مُهَانًا
muhaanaa,
humiliated
٦٩
25:70
إِلَّا
ʹIllaa
Except
مَن
mañ
(he) who
تَابَ
taaba
repents
وَءَامَنَ
wa-ʹaamana
and believes
وَعَمِلَ
wa-ʻamila
and does
عَمَلٗا
ʻamalañ
righteous deeds
صَٰلِحٗا
ṣaaliḥañ
righteous deeds
فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
faʹulaaaʹika
then (for) those
يُبَدِّلُ
yubaddilul
Allah will replace
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah will replace
سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمۡ
sayyiʹaatihim
their evil deeds
حَسَنَٰتٖۗ
ḥasanaat:
(with) good ones
وَكَانَ
wa-kaanal
And is
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
غَفُورٗا
G̣afoorar
Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٗا
Raḥeemaa.
Most Merciful
٧٠
25:71
وَمَن
Wa-mañ
And whoever
تَابَ
taaba
repents
وَعَمِلَ
wa-ʻamila
and does
صَٰلِحٗا
ṣaaliḥañ
righteous (deeds)
فَإِنَّهُۥ
faʹinnahoo
then indeed he
يَتُوبُ
yatoobu
turns
إِلَى
ʹilal
to
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
مَتَابٗا
mataabaa.
(with) repentance
٧١
25:72
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
And those who
لَا
laa-
(do) not
يَشۡهَدُونَ
yashhadoonaz
bear witness
ٱلزُّورَ
zoora
(to) the falsehood
وَإِذَا
wa-ʹiẓaa
and when
مَرُّواْ
marroo
they pass
بِٱللَّغۡوِ
billag̣wi
by futility
مَرُّواْ
marroo
they pass
كِرَامٗا
kiraamaa.
(as) dignified ones
٧٢
25:73
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
And those who
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
when
ذُكِّرُواْ
ẓukkiroo
they are reminded
بِـَٔايَٰتِ
biʹAayaati
of (the) Verses
رَبِّهِمۡ
Rabbihim
(of) their Lord
لَمۡ
lam
(do) not
يَخِرُّواْ
yakhirroo
fall
عَلَيۡهَا
ʻalayhaa
upon them
صُمّٗا
ṣummañw
deaf
وَعُمۡيَانٗا
waʻumyaanaa.
and blind
٧٣
25:74
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
And those who
يَقُولُونَ
yaq̣ooloona
say
رَبَّنَا
Rabbanaa
Our Lord
هَبۡ
hab
Grant
لَنَا
lanaa
to us
مِنۡ
min
from
أَزۡوَٰجِنَا
ʹazwaajinaa
our spouses
وَذُرِّيَّٰتِنَا
wa-ẓurriyaatinaa
and our offspring
قُرَّةَ
q̣urrata
comfort
أَعۡيُنٖ
ʹaʻyuniñw
(to) our eyes
وَٱجۡعَلۡنَا
waj-ʻalnaa
and make us
لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ
lil-Muttaq̣eena
for the righteous
إِمَامًا
ʹImaamaa.
a leader
٧٤
25:75
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹUlaaaʹika
Those
يُجۡزَوۡنَ
yujzawnal
will be awarded
ٱلۡغُرۡفَةَ
g̣urfata
the Chamber
بِمَا
bimaa
because
صَبَرُواْ
ṣabaroo
they were patient
وَيُلَقَّوۡنَ
wa-yulaq̣q̣awna
and they will be met
فِيهَا
feehaa
therein
تَحِيَّةٗ
taḥiyyatañw
(with) greetings
وَسَلَٰمًا
wasalaamaa,
and peace
٧٥
