لِيَكُونَ

to the worlds

a warner

25:2
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
The One Who
لَهُۥ
lahu
to Him (belongs)
مُلۡكُ
mul'ku
(the) dominion
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
wal-ardi
and the earth
وَلَمۡ
walam
and not
يَتَّخِذۡ
yattakhidh
He has taken
وَلَدٗا
waladan
a son
وَلَمۡ
walam
and not
يَكُن
yakun
He has
لَّهُۥ
lahu
for Him
شَرِيكٞ
sharikun
a partner
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡمُلۡكِ
al-mul'ki
the dominion
وَخَلَقَ
wakhalaqa
and He (has) created
كُلَّ
kulla
every
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
thing
فَقَدَّرَهُۥ
faqaddarahu
and determined it
تَقۡدِيرٗا
taqdiran
(with) determination

وَٱتَّخَذُواْ
wa-ittakhadhu
Yet they have taken
مِن
min
besides Him
دُونِهِۦٓ
dunihi
besides Him
ءَالِهَةٗ
alihatan
gods
لَّا
la
not
يَخۡلُقُونَ
yakhluquna
they create
شَيۡـٔٗا
shayan
anything
وَهُمۡ
wahum
while they
يُخۡلَقُونَ
yukh'laquna
are created
وَلَا
wala
and not
يَمۡلِكُونَ
yamlikuna
they possess
لِأَنفُسِهِمۡ
li-anfusihim
for themselves
ضَرّٗا
darran
any harm
وَلَا
wala
and not
نَفۡعٗا
naf 'an
any benefit
وَلَا
wala
and not
يَمۡلِكُونَ
yamlikuna
they control
مَوۡتٗا
mawtan
death
وَلَا
wala
and not
حَيَوٰةٗ
hayatan
life
وَلَا
wala
and not
نُشُورٗا
nushuran
resurrection
٣
25:4
وَقَالَ
waqala
And say
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُوٓاْ
kafaru
disbelieve
إِنۡ
in
Not
هَٰذَآ
hadha
this
إِلَّآ
illa
(is) but
إِفۡكٌ
if'kun
a lie
ٱفۡتَرَىٰهُ
if'tarahu
he invented it
وَأَعَانَهُۥ
wa-a'anahu
and helped him
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
at it
قَوۡمٌ
qawmun
people
ءَاخَرُونَۖ
akharuna
other
فَقَدۡ
faqad
But verily
جَآءُو
jau
they (have) produced
ظُلۡمٗا
zul'man
an injustice
وَزُورٗا
wazuran
and a lie
٤
25:5
وَقَالُوٓاْ
waqalu
And they say
أَسَٰطِيرُ
asatiru
Tales
ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
al-awalina
(of) the former people
ٱكۡتَتَبَهَا
ik'tatabaha
which he has had written
فَهِيَ
fahiya
and they
تُمۡلَىٰ
tum'la
are dictated
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
to him
بُكۡرَةٗ
buk'ratan
morning
وَأَصِيلٗا
wa-asilan
and evening
٥
25:6
قُلۡ
qul
Say
أَنزَلَهُ
anzalahu
Has sent it down
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
the One Who
يَعۡلَمُ
ya'lamu
knows
ٱلسِّرَّ
al-sira
the secret
فِي
fi
in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
wal-ardi
and the earth
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed He
كَانَ
kana
is
غَفُورٗا
ghafuran
Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٗا
rahiman
Most Merciful
٦
25:7
وَقَالُواْ
waqalu
And they say
مَالِ
mali
Why does
هَٰذَا
hadha
this
ٱلرَّسُولِ
al-rasuli
Messenger
يَأۡكُلُ
yakulu
eat
ٱلطَّعَامَ
al-ta'ama
[the] food
وَيَمۡشِي
wayamshi
and walk
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَسۡوَاقِ
al-aswaqi
the markets
لَوۡلَآ
lawla
Why not
أُنزِلَ
unzila
is sent down
إِلَيۡهِ
ilayhi
to him
مَلَكٞ
malakun
an Angel
فَيَكُونَ
fayakuna
then he be
مَعَهُۥ
ma'ahu
with him
نَذِيرًا
nadhiran
a warner
٧
25:8
أَوۡ
aw
Or
يُلۡقَىٰٓ
yul'qa
is delivered
إِلَيۡهِ
ilayhi
to him
كَنزٌ
kanzun
a treasure
أَوۡ
aw
or
تَكُونُ
takunu
is
لَهُۥ
lahu
for him
جَنَّةٞ
jannatun
a garden
يَأۡكُلُ
yakulu
he may eat
مِنۡهَاۚ
min'ha
from it
وَقَالَ
waqala
And say
ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
al-zalimuna
the wrongdoers
إِن
in
Not
تَتَّبِعُونَ
tattabi'una
you follow
إِلَّا
illa
but
رَجُلٗا
rajulan
a man
مَّسۡحُورًا
mashuran
bewitched
٨
25:9
ٱنظُرۡ
unzur
See
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
ضَرَبُواْ
darabu
they set forth
لَكَ
laka
for you
ٱلۡأَمۡثَٰلَ
al-amthala
the similitudes
فَضَلُّواْ
fadallu
but they have gone astray
فَلَا
fala
so not
يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ
yastati'una
they are able (to find)
سَبِيلٗا
sabilan
a way
٩
25:10
تَبَارَكَ
tabaraka
Blessed is He
ٱلَّذِيٓ
alladhi
Who
إِن
in
if
شَآءَ
shaa
He willed
جَعَلَ
ja'ala
(could have) made
لَكَ
laka
for you
خَيۡرٗا
khayran
better
مِّن
min
than
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
that
جَنَّٰتٖ
jannatin
gardens
تَجۡرِي
tajri
flow
مِن
min
from
تَحۡتِهَا
tahtiha
underneath it
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ
al-anharu
the rivers
وَيَجۡعَل
wayaj'al
and He (could) make
لَّكَ
laka
for you
قُصُورَۢا
qusuran
palaces
١٠
25:11
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
كَذَّبُواْ
kadhabu
they deny
بِٱلسَّاعَةِۖ
bil-sa'ati
the Hour
وَأَعۡتَدۡنَا
wa-a'tadna
and We have prepared
لِمَن
liman
for (those) who
كَذَّبَ
kadhaba
deny
بِٱلسَّاعَةِ
bil-sa'ati
the Hour
سَعِيرًا
sa'iran
a Blazing Fire

إِذَا
idha
When
رَأَتۡهُم
ra-athum
it sees them
مِّن
min
from
مَّكَانِۭ
makanin
a place
بَعِيدٖ
ba'idin
far
سَمِعُواْ
sami'u
they will hear
لَهَا
laha
its
تَغَيُّظٗا
taghayyuzan
raging
وَزَفِيرٗا
wazafiran
and roaring
١٢
25:13
وَإِذَآ
wa-idha
And when
أُلۡقُواْ
ul'qu
they are thrown
مِنۡهَا
min'ha
thereof
مَكَانٗا
makanan
(in) a place
ضَيِّقٗا
dayyiqan
narrow
مُّقَرَّنِينَ
muqarranina
bound in chains
دَعَوۡاْ
da'aw
they will call
هُنَالِكَ
hunalika
there
ثُبُورٗا
thuburan
(for) destruction
١٣
25:14
لَّا
la
(Do) not
تَدۡعُواْ
tad'u
call
ٱلۡيَوۡمَ
al-yawma
this day
ثُبُورٗا
thuburan
(for) destruction
وَٰحِدٗا
wahidan
one
وَٱدۡعُواْ
wa-id'u
but call
ثُبُورٗا
thuburan
(for) destructions
كَثِيرٗا
kathiran
many
١٤
25:15
قُلۡ
qul
Say
أَذَٰلِكَ
adhalika
Is that
خَيۡرٌ
khayrun
better
أَمۡ
am
or
جَنَّةُ
jannatu
Garden
ٱلۡخُلۡدِ
al-khul'di
(of) Eternity
ٱلَّتِي
allati
which
وُعِدَ
wu'ida
is promised
ٱلۡمُتَّقُونَۚ
al-mutaquna
(to) the righteous
كَانَتۡ
kanat
It will be
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
جَزَآءٗ
jazaan
a reward
وَمَصِيرٗا
wamasiran
and destination
١٥
25:16
لَّهُمۡ
lahum
For them
فِيهَا
fiha
therein
مَا
ma
(is) whatever
يَشَآءُونَ
yashauna
they wish
خَٰلِدِينَۚ
khalidina
they will abide forever
كَانَ
kana
It is
عَلَىٰ
ala
on
رَبِّكَ
rabbika
your Lord
وَعۡدٗا
wa'dan
a promise
مَّسۡـُٔولٗا
masulan
requested
١٦
25:17
وَيَوۡمَ
wayawma
And (the) Day
يَحۡشُرُهُمۡ
yahshuruhum
He will gather them
وَمَا
wama
and what
يَعۡبُدُونَ
ya'buduna
they worship
مِن
min
besides Allah
دُونِ
duni
besides Allah
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
besides Allah
فَيَقُولُ
fayaqulu
and He will say
ءَأَنتُمۡ
a-antum
Did you
أَضۡلَلۡتُمۡ
adlaltum
[you] mislead
عِبَادِي
ibadi
My slaves
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haulai
these
أَمۡ
am
or
هُمۡ
hum
they
ضَلُّواْ
dallu
went astray
ٱلسَّبِيلَ
al-sabila
(from) the way
١٧
25:18
قَالُواْ
qalu
They say
سُبۡحَٰنَكَ
sub'hanaka
Glory be to You
مَا
ma
Not
كَانَ
kana
it was proper
يَنۢبَغِي
yanbaghi
it was proper
لَنَآ
lana
for us
أَن
an
that
نَّتَّخِذَ
nattakhidha
we take
مِن
min
besides You
دُونِكَ
dunika
besides You
مِنۡ
min
any
أَوۡلِيَآءَ
awliyaa
protectors
وَلَٰكِن
walakin
But
مَّتَّعۡتَهُمۡ
matta'tahum
You gave them comforts
وَءَابَآءَهُمۡ
waabaahum
and their forefathers
حَتَّىٰ
hatta
until
نَسُواْ
nasu
they forgot
ٱلذِّكۡرَ
al-dhik'ra
the Message
وَكَانُواْ
wakanu
and became
قَوۡمَۢا
qawman
a people
بُورٗا
buran
ruined
١٨
25:19
فَقَدۡ
faqad
So verily
كَذَّبُوكُم
kadhabukum
they deny you
بِمَا
bima
in what
تَقُولُونَ
taquluna
you say
فَمَا
fama
so not
تَسۡتَطِيعُونَ
tastati'una
you are able
صَرۡفٗا
sarfan
(to) avert
وَلَا
wala
and not
نَصۡرٗاۚ
nasran
(to) help
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يَظۡلِم
yazlim
does wrong
مِّنكُمۡ
minkum
among you
نُذِقۡهُ
nudhiq'hu
We will make him taste
عَذَابٗا
adhaban
a punishment
كَبِيرٗا
kabiran
great
١٩
25:20
وَمَآ
wama
And not
أَرۡسَلۡنَا
arsalna
We sent
قَبۡلَكَ
qablaka
before you
مِنَ
mina
any
ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
al-mur'salina
Messengers
إِلَّآ
illa
but
إِنَّهُمۡ
innahum
indeed they
لَيَأۡكُلُونَ
layakuluna
[surely] ate
ٱلطَّعَامَ
al-ta'ama
food
وَيَمۡشُونَ
wayamshuna
and walked
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَسۡوَاقِۗ
al-aswaqi
the markets
وَجَعَلۡنَا
waja'alna
And We have made
بَعۡضَكُمۡ
ba'dakum
some of you
لِبَعۡضٖ
liba'din
for others
فِتۡنَةً
fit'natan
a trial
أَتَصۡبِرُونَۗ
atasbiruna
will you have patience
وَكَانَ
wakana
And is
رَبُّكَ
rabbuka
your Lord
بَصِيرٗا
basiran
All-Seer

25:21
۞وَقَالَ
waqala
And said
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
لَا
la
(do) not
يَرۡجُونَ
yarjuna
expect
لِقَآءَنَا
liqaana
(the) meeting with Us
لَوۡلَآ
lawla
Why not
أُنزِلَ
unzila
are sent down
عَلَيۡنَا
alayna
to us
ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
al-malaikatu
the Angels
أَوۡ
aw
or
نَرَىٰ
nara
we see
رَبَّنَاۗ
rabbana
our Lord
لَقَدِ
laqadi
Indeed
ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ
is'takbaru
they have become arrogant
فِيٓ
fi
within
أَنفُسِهِمۡ
anfusihim
themselves
وَعَتَوۡ
wa'ataw
and (become) insolent
عُتُوّٗا
utuwwan
(with) insolence
كَبِيرٗا
kabiran
great
٢١
25:22
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(The) Day
يَرَوۡنَ
yarawna
they see
ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ
al-malaikata
the Angels
لَا
la
no
بُشۡرَىٰ
bush'ra
glad tidings
يَوۡمَئِذٖ
yawma-idhin
(will be) that Day
لِّلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ
lil'muj'rimina
for the criminals
وَيَقُولُونَ
wayaquluna
and they will say
حِجۡرٗا
hij'ran
A partition
مَّحۡجُورٗا
mahjuran
forbidden
٢٢
25:23
وَقَدِمۡنَآ
waqadim'na
And We will proceed
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
مَا
ma
whatever
عَمِلُواْ
amilu
they did
مِنۡ
min
of
عَمَلٖ
amalin
(the) deed(s)
فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُ
faja'alnahu
and We will make them
هَبَآءٗ
habaan
(as) dust
مَّنثُورًا
manthuran
dispersed
٢٣
25:24
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ashabu
(The) companions
ٱلۡجَنَّةِ
al-janati
(of) Paradise
يَوۡمَئِذٍ
yawma-idhin
that Day
خَيۡرٞ
khayrun
(will be in) a better
مُّسۡتَقَرّٗا
mus'taqarran
abode
وَأَحۡسَنُ
wa-ahsanu
and a better
مَقِيلٗا
maqilan
resting-place
٢٤
25:25
وَيَوۡمَ
wayawma
And (the) Day
تَشَقَّقُ
tashaqqaqu
will split open
ٱلسَّمَآءُ
al-samau
the heavens
بِٱلۡغَمَٰمِ
bil-ghamami
with the clouds
وَنُزِّلَ
wanuzzila
and (will be) sent down
ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
al-malaikatu
the Angels
تَنزِيلًا
tanzilan
descending
٢٥
25:26
ٱلۡمُلۡكُ
al-mul'ku
The Sovereignty
يَوۡمَئِذٍ
yawma-idhin
that Day
ٱلۡحَقُّ
al-haqu
(will be) truly
لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِۚ
lilrrahmani
for the Most Gracious
وَكَانَ
wakana
And (it will) be
يَوۡمًا
yawman
a Day
عَلَى
ala
for
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
al-kafirina
the disbelievers
عَسِيرٗا
asiran
difficult
٢٦
25:27
وَيَوۡمَ
wayawma
And (the) Day
يَعَضُّ
ya'addu
will bite
ٱلظَّالِمُ
al-zalimu
the wrongdoer
عَلَىٰ
ala
[on]
يَدَيۡهِ
yadayhi
his hands
يَقُولُ
yaqulu
he will say
يَٰلَيۡتَنِي
yalaytani
O I wish
ٱتَّخَذۡتُ
ittakhadhtu
I had taken
مَعَ
ma'a
with
ٱلرَّسُولِ
al-rasuli
the Messenger
سَبِيلٗا
sabilan
a way
٢٧
25:28
يَٰوَيۡلَتَىٰ
yawaylata
O woe to me
لَيۡتَنِي
laytani
I wish
لَمۡ
lam
not
أَتَّخِذۡ
attakhidh
I had taken
فُلَانًا
fulanan
that one
خَلِيلٗا
khalilan
(as) a friend
٢٨
25:29
لَّقَدۡ
laqad
Verily
أَضَلَّنِي
adallani
he led me astray
عَنِ
ani
from
ٱلذِّكۡرِ
al-dhik'ri
the Reminder
بَعۡدَ
ba'da
after
إِذۡ
idh
[when]
جَآءَنِيۗ
jaani
it (had) come to me
وَكَانَ
wakana
And is
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ
al-shaytanu
the Shaitaan
لِلۡإِنسَٰنِ
lil'insani
to the man
خَذُولٗا
khadhulan
a deserter
٢٩
25:30
وَقَالَ
waqala
And said
ٱلرَّسُولُ
al-rasulu
the Messenger
يَٰرَبِّ
yarabbi
O my Lord
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
قَوۡمِي
qawmi
my people
ٱتَّخَذُواْ
ittakhadhu
took
هَٰذَا
hadha
this
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ
al-qur'ana
the Quran
مَهۡجُورٗا
mahjuran
(as) a forsaken thing
٣٠
25:31
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
wakadhalika
And thus
جَعَلۡنَا
ja'alna
We have made
لِكُلِّ
likulli
for every
نَبِيٍّ
nabiyyin
Prophet
عَدُوّٗا
aduwwan
an enemy
مِّنَ
mina
among
ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَۗ
al-muj'rimina
the criminals
وَكَفَىٰ
wakafa
But sufficient is
بِرَبِّكَ
birabbika
your Lord
هَادِيٗا
hadiyan
(as) a Guide
وَنَصِيرٗا
wanasiran
and a Helper
٣١
25:32
وَقَالَ
waqala
And said
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieve
لَوۡلَا
lawla
Why not
نُزِّلَ
nuzzila
was revealed
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
to him
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ
al-qur'anu
the Quran
جُمۡلَةٗ
jum'latan
all at once
وَٰحِدَةٗۚ
wahidatan
all at once
كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhalika
Thus
لِنُثَبِّتَ
linuthabbita
that We may strengthen
بِهِۦ
bihi
thereby
فُؤَادَكَۖ
fuadaka
your heart
وَرَتَّلۡنَٰهُ
warattalnahu
and We have recited it
تَرۡتِيلٗا
tartilan
(with distinct) recitation

25:33
وَلَا
wala
And not
يَأۡتُونَكَ
yatunaka
they come to you
بِمَثَلٍ
bimathalin
with an example
إِلَّا
illa
but
جِئۡنَٰكَ
ji'naka
We bring you
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
bil-haqi
the truth
وَأَحۡسَنَ
wa-ahsana
and (the) best
تَفۡسِيرًا
tafsiran
explanation
٣٣
25:34
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
Those who
يُحۡشَرُونَ
yuh'sharuna
will be gathered
عَلَىٰ
ala
on
وُجُوهِهِمۡ
wujuhihim
their faces
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
جَهَنَّمَ
jahannama
Hell
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
those
شَرّٞ
sharrun
(are the) worst
مَّكَانٗا
makanan
(in) position
وَأَضَلُّ
wa-adallu
and most astray
سَبِيلٗا
sabilan
(from the) way
٣٤
25:35
وَلَقَدۡ
walaqad
And verily
ءَاتَيۡنَا
atayna
We gave
مُوسَى
musa
Musa
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
al-kitaba
the Scripture
وَجَعَلۡنَا
waja'alna
and We appointed
مَعَهُۥٓ
ma'ahu
with him
أَخَاهُ
akhahu
his brother
هَٰرُونَ
haruna
Harun
وَزِيرٗا
waziran
(as) an assistant
٣٥
25:36
فَقُلۡنَا
faqul'na
Then We said
ٱذۡهَبَآ
idh'haba
Go both of you
إِلَى
ila
to
ٱلۡقَوۡمِ
al-qawmi
the people
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَذَّبُواْ
kadhabu
have denied
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
biayatina
Our Signs
فَدَمَّرۡنَٰهُمۡ
fadammarnahum
Then We destroyed them
تَدۡمِيرٗا
tadmiran
(with) destruction
٣٦
25:37
وَقَوۡمَ
waqawma
And (the) people
نُوحٖ
nuhin
(of) Nuh
لَّمَّا
lamma
when
كَذَّبُواْ
kadhabu
they denied
ٱلرُّسُلَ
al-rusula
the Messengers
أَغۡرَقۡنَٰهُمۡ
aghraqnahum
We drowned them
وَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ
waja'alnahum
and We made them
لِلنَّاسِ
lilnnasi
for mankind
ءَايَةٗۖ
ayatan
a sign
وَأَعۡتَدۡنَا
wa-a'tadna
And We have prepared
لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ
lilzzalimina
for the wrongdoers
عَذَابًا
adhaban
a punishment
أَلِيمٗا
aliman
painful
٣٧
25:38
وَعَادٗا
wa'adan
And Ad
وَثَمُودَاْ
wathamuda
and Thamud
وَأَصۡحَٰبَ
wa-ashaba
and (the) dwellers
ٱلرَّسِّ
al-rasi
(of) Ar-rass
وَقُرُونَۢا
waqurunan
and generations
بَيۡنَ
bayna
between
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
that
كَثِيرٗا
kathiran
many
٣٨
25:39
وَكُلّٗا
wakullan
And each
ضَرَبۡنَا
darabna
We have set forth
لَهُ
lahu
for him
ٱلۡأَمۡثَٰلَۖ
al-amthala
the examples
وَكُلّٗا
wakullan
and each
تَبَّرۡنَا
tabbarna
We destroyed
تَتۡبِيرٗا
tatbiran
(with) destruction
٣٩
25:40
وَلَقَدۡ
walaqad
And verily
أَتَوۡاْ
ataw
they have come
عَلَى
ala
upon
ٱلۡقَرۡيَةِ
al-qaryati
the town
ٱلَّتِيٓ
allati
which
أُمۡطِرَتۡ
um'tirat
was showered
مَطَرَ
matara
(with) a rain
ٱلسَّوۡءِۚ
al-sawi
(of) evil
أَفَلَمۡ
afalam
Then do not
يَكُونُواْ
yakunu
they [were]
يَرَوۡنَهَاۚ
yarawnaha
see it
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
كَانُواْ
kanu
they are
لَا
la
not
يَرۡجُونَ
yarjuna
expecting
نُشُورٗا

25:41
وَإِذَا
wa-idha
And when
رَأَوۡكَ
ra-awka
they see you
إِن
in
not
يَتَّخِذُونَكَ
yattakhidhunaka
they take you
إِلَّا
illa
except
هُزُوًا
huzuwan
(in) mockery
أَهَٰذَا
ahadha
Is this
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
the one whom
بَعَثَ
ba'atha
Allah has sent
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah has sent
رَسُولًا
rasulan
(as) a Messenger
٤١
25:42
إِن
in
He would have almost
كَادَ
kada
He would have almost
لَيُضِلُّنَا
layudilluna
[surely] misled us
عَنۡ
an
from
ءَالِهَتِنَا
alihatina
our gods
لَوۡلَآ
lawla
if not
أَن
an
that
صَبَرۡنَا
sabarna
we had been steadfast
عَلَيۡهَاۚ
alayha
to them
وَسَوۡفَ
wasawfa
And soon
يَعۡلَمُونَ
ya'lamuna
will know
حِينَ
hina
when
يَرَوۡنَ
yarawna
they will see
ٱلۡعَذَابَ
al-'adhaba
the punishment
مَنۡ
man
who
أَضَلُّ
adallu
(is) more astray
سَبِيلًا
sabilan
(from the) way
٤٢
25:43
أَرَءَيۡتَ
ara-ayta
Have you seen
مَنِ
mani
(one) who
ٱتَّخَذَ
ittakhadha
takes
إِلَٰهَهُۥ
ilahahu
(as) his god
هَوَىٰهُ
hawahu
his own desire
أَفَأَنتَ
afa-anta
Then would you
تَكُونُ
takunu
be
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
over him
وَكِيلًا
wakilan
a guardian

أَمۡ
am
Or
تَحۡسَبُ
tahsabu
do you think
أَنَّ
anna
that
أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ
aktharahum
most of them
يَسۡمَعُونَ
yasma'una
hear
أَوۡ
aw
or
يَعۡقِلُونَۚ
ya'qiluna
understand
إِنۡ
in
Not
هُمۡ
hum
they
إِلَّا
illa
(are) except
كَٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ
kal-an'ami
like cattle
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
هُمۡ
hum
they
أَضَلُّ
adallu
(are) more astray
سَبِيلًا
sabilan
(from the) way
٤٤
25:45
أَلَمۡ
alam
Do you not
تَرَ
tara
see
إِلَىٰ
ila
[to]
رَبِّكَ
rabbika
your Lord
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
مَدَّ
madda
He extends
ٱلظِّلَّ
al-zila
the shadow
وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
شَآءَ
shaa
He willed
لَجَعَلَهُۥ
laja'alahu
surely He (could) have made it
سَاكِنٗا
sakinan
stationary
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
جَعَلۡنَا
ja'alna
We made
ٱلشَّمۡسَ
al-shamsa
the sun
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
for it
دَلِيلٗا
dalilan
an indication
٤٥
25:46
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
قَبَضۡنَٰهُ
qabadnahu
We withdraw it
إِلَيۡنَا
ilayna
to Us
قَبۡضٗا
qabdan
a withdrawal
يَسِيرٗا
yasiran
gradual
٤٦
25:47
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
And He
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
(is) the One Who
جَعَلَ
ja'ala
made
لَكُمُ
lakumu
for you
ٱلَّيۡلَ
al-layla
the night
لِبَاسٗا
libasan
(as) a covering
وَٱلنَّوۡمَ
wal-nawma
and the sleep
سُبَاتٗا
subatan
a rest
وَجَعَلَ
waja'ala
and made
ٱلنَّهَارَ
al-nahara
the day
نُشُورٗا
nushuran
a resurrection
٤٧
25:48
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
And He
ٱلَّذِيٓ
alladhi
(is) the One Who
أَرۡسَلَ
arsala
sends
ٱلرِّيَٰحَ
al-riyaha
the winds
بُشۡرَۢا
bush'ran
(as) glad tidings
بَيۡنَ
bayna
before
يَدَيۡ
yaday
before
رَحۡمَتِهِۦۚ
rahmatihi
His Mercy
وَأَنزَلۡنَا
wa-anzalna
and We send down
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
al-samai
the sky
مَآءٗ
maan
water
طَهُورٗا
tahuran
pure
٤٨
25:49
لِّنُحۡـِۧيَ
linuh'yiya
That We may give life
بِهِۦ
bihi
thereby
بَلۡدَةٗ
baldatan
(to) a land
مَّيۡتٗا
maytan
dead
وَنُسۡقِيَهُۥ
wanus'qiyahu
and We give drink
مِمَّا
mimma
thereof
خَلَقۡنَآ
khalaqna
(to those) We created
أَنۡعَٰمٗا
an'aman
cattle
وَأَنَاسِيَّ
wa-anasiyya
and men
كَثِيرٗا
kathiran
many
٤٩
25:50
وَلَقَدۡ
walaqad
And verily
صَرَّفۡنَٰهُ
sarrafnahu
We have distributed it
بَيۡنَهُمۡ
baynahum
among them
لِيَذَّكَّرُواْ
liyadhakkaru
that they may remember
فَأَبَىٰٓ
fa-aba
but refuse
أَكۡثَرُ
aktharu
most
ٱلنَّاسِ
al-nasi
(of) the people
إِلَّا
illa
except
كُفُورٗا
kufuran
disbelief
