قَوۡلَ

(the) statement
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
al-mu'minina
(of) the believers
إِذَا
idha

دُعُوٓاْ

they are called
إِلَى
ila
to
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦ
warasulihi
and His Messenger
لِيَحۡكُمَ
liyahkuma
to judge
بَيۡنَهُمۡ
baynahum
between them
أَن
an
(is) that
يَقُولُواْ
yaqulu
they say
سَمِعۡنَا
sami'na
We hear
وَأَطَعۡنَاۚ
wa-ata'na
and we obey
وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
wa-ulaika
And those
هُمُ
humu
[they]
ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ
al-muf'lihuna
(are) the successful
٥١
24:52
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يُطِعِ
yuti'i
obeys
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ
warasulahu
and His Messenger
وَيَخۡشَ
wayakhsha
and fears
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَيَتَّقۡهِ
wayattaqhi
and (is) conscious of Him
فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
fa-ulaika
then those
هُمُ
humu
[they]
ٱلۡفَآئِزُونَ
al-faizuna
(are) the successful ones
٥٢
24:53
۞وَأَقۡسَمُواْ
wa-aqsamu
And they swear
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
by Allah
جَهۡدَ
jahda
strong
أَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ
aymanihim
their oaths
لَئِنۡ
la-in
that if
أَمَرۡتَهُمۡ
amartahum
you ordered them
لَيَخۡرُجُنَّۖ
layakhrujunna
surely they (would) go forth
قُل
qul
Say
لَّا
la
(Do) not
تُقۡسِمُواْۖ
tuq'simu
swear
طَاعَةٞ
ta'atun
Obedience
مَّعۡرُوفَةٌۚ
ma'rufatun
(is) known
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
خَبِيرُۢ
khabirun
(is) All-Aware
بِمَا
bima
of what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
ta'maluna
you do

قُلۡ
qul
Say
أَطِيعُواْ
ati'u
Obey
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَأَطِيعُواْ
wa-ati'u
and obey
ٱلرَّسُولَۖ
al-rasula
the Messenger
فَإِن
fa-in
but if
تَوَلَّوۡاْ
tawallaw
you turn away
فَإِنَّمَا
fa-innama
then only
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
upon him
مَا
ma
(is) what
حُمِّلَ
hummila
(is) placed on him
وَعَلَيۡكُم
wa'alaykum
and on you
مَّا
ma
(is) what
حُمِّلۡتُمۡۖ
hummil'tum
(is) placed on you
وَإِن
wa-in
And if
تُطِيعُوهُ
tuti'uhu
you obey him
تَهۡتَدُواْۚ
tahtadu
you will be guided
وَمَا
wama
And not
عَلَى
ala
(is) on
ٱلرَّسُولِ
al-rasuli
the Messenger
إِلَّا
illa
except
ٱلۡبَلَٰغُ
al-balaghu
the conveyance
ٱلۡمُبِينُ
al-mubinu
[the] clear
٥٤
24:55
وَعَدَ
wa'ada
Allah (has) promised
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah (has) promised
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
مِنكُمۡ
minkum
among you
وَعَمِلُواْ
wa'amilu
and do
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
al-salihati
righteous deeds
لَيَسۡتَخۡلِفَنَّهُمۡ
layastakhlifannahum
surely He will grant them succession
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
كَمَا
kama
as
ٱسۡتَخۡلَفَ
is'takhlafa
He gave succession
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
to those who
مِن
min
(were) before them
قَبۡلِهِمۡ
qablihim
(were) before them
وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ
walayumakkinanna
and that He will surely establish
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
دِينَهُمُ
dinahumu
their religion
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
which
ٱرۡتَضَىٰ
ir'tada
He has approved
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُم
walayubaddilannahum
and surely He will change for them
مِّنۢ
min
after
بَعۡدِ
ba'di
after
خَوۡفِهِمۡ
khawfihim
their fear
أَمۡنٗاۚ
amnan
security
يَعۡبُدُونَنِي
ya'budunani
(for) they worship Me
لَا
la
not
يُشۡرِكُونَ
yush'rikuna
they associate
بِي
bi
with Me
شَيۡـٔٗاۚ
shayan
anything
وَمَن
waman
But whoever
كَفَرَ
kafara
disbelieved
بَعۡدَ
ba'da
after
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
that
فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
fa-ulaika
then those
هُمُ
humu
[they]
ٱلۡفَٰسِقُونَ
al-fasiquna
(are) the defiantly disobedient
٥٥
24:56
وَأَقِيمُواْ
wa-aqimu
And establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
al-salata
the prayer
وَءَاتُواْ
waatu
and give
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ
al-zakata
zakah
وَأَطِيعُواْ
wa-ati'u
and obey
ٱلرَّسُولَ
al-rasula
the Messenger
لَعَلَّكُمۡ
la'allakum
so that you may
تُرۡحَمُونَ
tur'hamuna
receive mercy
٥٦
24:57
لَا
la
(Do) not
تَحۡسَبَنَّ
tahsabanna
think
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieve
مُعۡجِزِينَ
mu'jizina
(can) escape
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
al-ardi
the earth
وَمَأۡوَىٰهُمُ
wamawahumu
And their abode
ٱلنَّارُۖ
al-naru
(will be) the Fire
وَلَبِئۡسَ
walabi'sa
and wretched is
ٱلۡمَصِيرُ
al-masiru
the destination
٥٧
24:58
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
O you who believe
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
O you who believe
لِيَسۡتَـٔۡذِنكُمُ
liyastadhinkumu
Let ask your permission
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those whom
مَلَكَتۡ
malakat
possess
أَيۡمَٰنُكُمۡ
aymanukum
your right hands
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
and those who
لَمۡ
lam
(have) not
يَبۡلُغُواْ
yablughu
reached
ٱلۡحُلُمَ
al-huluma
puberty
مِنكُمۡ
minkum
among you
ثَلَٰثَ
thalatha
(at) three
مَرَّٰتٖۚ
marratin
times
مِّن
min
before
قَبۡلِ
qabli
before
صَلَوٰةِ
salati
(the) prayer
ٱلۡفَجۡرِ
al-fajri
(of) dawn
وَحِينَ
wahina
and when
تَضَعُونَ
tada'una
you put aside
ثِيَابَكُم
thiyabakum
your garments
مِّنَ
mina
at
ٱلظَّهِيرَةِ
al-zahirati
noon
وَمِنۢ
wamin
and after
بَعۡدِ
ba'di
and after
صَلَوٰةِ
salati
(the) prayer
ٱلۡعِشَآءِۚ
al-'ishai
(of) night
ثَلَٰثُ
thalathu
(These) three
عَوۡرَٰتٖ
awratin
(are) times of privacy
لَّكُمۡۚ
lakum
for you
لَيۡسَ
laysa
Not
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
alaykum
on you
وَلَا
wala
and not
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
alayhim
on them
جُنَاحُۢ
junahun
any blame
بَعۡدَهُنَّۚ
ba'dahunna
after that
طَوَّٰفُونَ
tawwafuna
(as) moving about
عَلَيۡكُم
alaykum
among you
بَعۡضُكُمۡ
ba'dukum
some of you
عَلَىٰ
ala
among
بَعۡضٖۚ
ba'din
others
كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhalika
Thus
يُبَيِّنُ
yubayyinu
Allah makes clear
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah makes clear
لَكُمُ
lakumu
for you
ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِۗ
al-ayati
the Verses
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
and Allah
عَلِيمٌ
alimun
(is) All-Knower
حَكِيمٞ
hakimun
All-Wise

24:59
وَإِذَا
wa-idha
And when
بَلَغَ
balagha
reach
ٱلۡأَطۡفَٰلُ
al-atfalu
the children
مِنكُمُ
minkumu
among you
ٱلۡحُلُمَ
al-huluma
the puberty
فَلۡيَسۡتَـٔۡذِنُواْ
falyastadhinu
then let them ask permission
كَمَا
kama
as
ٱسۡتَـٔۡذَنَ
is'tadhana
asked permission
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
مِن
min
(were) before them
قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ
qablihim
(were) before them
كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhalika
Thus
يُبَيِّنُ
yubayyinu
Allah makes clear
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah makes clear
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
ءَايَٰتِهِۦۗ
ayatihi
His Verses
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
عَلِيمٌ
alimun
(is) All-Knower
حَكِيمٞ
hakimun
All-Wise
٥٩
24:60
وَٱلۡقَوَٰعِدُ
wal-qawa'idu
And postmenopausal
مِنَ
mina
among
ٱلنِّسَآءِ
al-nisai
the women
ٱلَّٰتِي
allati
who
لَا
la
(do) not
يَرۡجُونَ
yarjuna
have desire
نِكَاحٗا
nikahan
(for) marriage
فَلَيۡسَ
falaysa
then not is
عَلَيۡهِنَّ
alayhinna
on them
جُنَاحٌ
junahun
any blame
أَن
an
that
يَضَعۡنَ
yada'na
they put aside
ثِيَابَهُنَّ
thiyabahunna
their (outer) garments
غَيۡرَ
ghayra
not
مُتَبَرِّجَٰتِۭ
mutabarrijatin
displaying
بِزِينَةٖۖ
bizinatin
their adornment
وَأَن
wa-an
And that
يَسۡتَعۡفِفۡنَ
yasta'fif'na
they modestly refrain
خَيۡرٞ
khayrun
(is) better
لَّهُنَّۗ
lahunna
for them
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
سَمِيعٌ
sami'un
(is) All-Hearer
عَلِيمٞ
alimun
All-Knower
٦٠
24:61
لَّيۡسَ
laysa
Not is
عَلَى
ala
on
ٱلۡأَعۡمَىٰ
al-a'ma
the blind
حَرَجٞ
harajun
any blame
وَلَا
wala
and not
عَلَى
ala
on
ٱلۡأَعۡرَجِ
al-a'raji
the lame
حَرَجٞ
harajun
any blame
وَلَا
wala
and not
عَلَى
ala
on
ٱلۡمَرِيضِ
al-maridi
the sick
حَرَجٞ
harajun
any blame
وَلَا
wala
and not
عَلَىٰٓ
ala
on
أَنفُسِكُمۡ
anfusikum
yourselves
أَن
an
that
تَأۡكُلُواْ
takulu
you eat
مِنۢ
min
from
بُيُوتِكُمۡ
buyutikum
your houses
أَوۡ
aw
or
بُيُوتِ
buyuti
houses
ءَابَآئِكُمۡ
abaikum
(of) your fathers
أَوۡ
aw
or
بُيُوتِ
buyuti
houses
أُمَّهَٰتِكُمۡ
ummahatikum
(of) your mothers
أَوۡ
aw
or
بُيُوتِ
buyuti
houses
إِخۡوَٰنِكُمۡ
ikh'wanikum
(of) your brothers
أَوۡ
aw
or
بُيُوتِ
buyuti
houses
أَخَوَٰتِكُمۡ
akhawatikum
(of) your sisters
أَوۡ
aw
or
بُيُوتِ
buyuti
houses
أَعۡمَٰمِكُمۡ
a'mamikum
(of) your paternal uncles
أَوۡ
aw
or
بُيُوتِ
buyuti
houses
عَمَّٰتِكُمۡ
ammatikum
(of) your paternal aunts
أَوۡ
aw
or
بُيُوتِ
buyuti
houses
أَخۡوَٰلِكُمۡ
akhwalikum
(of) your maternal uncles
أَوۡ
aw
or
بُيُوتِ
buyuti
houses
خَٰلَٰتِكُمۡ
khalatikum
(of) your maternal aunts
أَوۡ

مَا
ma
what
مَلَكۡتُم
malaktum
you possess
مَّفَاتِحَهُۥٓ
mafatihahu
its keys
أَوۡ
aw

صَدِيقِكُمۡۚ
sadiqikum
your friend
لَيۡسَ
laysa
Not is
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
alaykum
on you
جُنَاحٌ
junahun
any blame
أَن
an
that
تَأۡكُلُواْ
takulu
you eat
جَمِيعًا
jami'an
together
أَوۡ
aw
or
أَشۡتَاتٗاۚ
ashtatan
separately
فَإِذَا
fa-idha
But when
دَخَلۡتُم
dakhaltum
you enter
بُيُوتٗا
buyutan
houses
فَسَلِّمُواْ
fasallimu
then greet
عَلَىٰٓ
ala
[on]
أَنفُسِكُمۡ
anfusikum
yourselves
تَحِيَّةٗ
tahiyyatan
a greeting
مِّنۡ
min
from
عِندِ
indi
from
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
مُبَٰرَكَةٗ
mubarakatan
blessed
طَيِّبَةٗۚ
tayyibatan
(and) good
كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhalika
Thus
يُبَيِّنُ
yubayyinu
Allah makes clear
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah makes clear
لَكُمُ
lakumu
for you
ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ
al-ayati
the Verses
لَعَلَّكُمۡ
la'allakum
so that you may
تَعۡقِلُونَ
ta'qiluna
understand

24:62
إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
al-mu'minuna
the believers
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(are) those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦ
warasulihi
and His Messenger
وَإِذَا
wa-idha
and when
كَانُواْ
kanu
they are
مَعَهُۥ
ma'ahu
with him
عَلَىٰٓ
ala
for
أَمۡرٖ
amrin
a matter
جَامِعٖ
jami'in
(of) collective action
لَّمۡ
lam
not
يَذۡهَبُواْ
yadhhabu
they go
حَتَّىٰ
hatta
until
يَسۡتَـٔۡذِنُوهُۚ
yastadhinuhu
they (have) asked his permission
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
يَسۡتَـٔۡذِنُونَكَ
yastadhinunaka
ask your permission
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
those
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
[those who]
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yu'minuna
believe
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦۚ
warasulihi
and His Messenger
فَإِذَا
fa-idha
So when
ٱسۡتَـٔۡذَنُوكَ
is'tadhanuka
they ask your permission
لِبَعۡضِ
liba'di
for some
شَأۡنِهِمۡ
shanihim
affair of theirs
فَأۡذَن
fadhan
then give permission
لِّمَن
liman
to whom
شِئۡتَ
shi'ta
you will
مِنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
among them
وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡ
wa-is'taghfir
and ask forgiveness
لَهُمُ
lahumu
for them
ٱللَّهَۚ
al-laha
(of) Allah
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
غَفُورٞ
ghafurun
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٞ
rahimun
Most Merciful
٦٢
24:63
لَّا
la
(Do) not
تَجۡعَلُواْ
taj'alu
make
دُعَآءَ
du'aa
(the) calling
ٱلرَّسُولِ
al-rasuli
(of) the Messenger
بَيۡنَكُمۡ
baynakum
among you
كَدُعَآءِ
kadu'ai
as (the) call
بَعۡضِكُم
ba'dikum
(of) some of you
بَعۡضٗاۚ
ba'dan
(to) others
قَدۡ
qad
Verily
يَعۡلَمُ
ya'lamu
Allah knows
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah knows
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
يَتَسَلَّلُونَ
yatasallaluna
slip away
مِنكُمۡ
minkum
among you
لِوَاذٗاۚ
liwadhan
under shelter
فَلۡيَحۡذَرِ
falyahdhari
So let beware
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
يُخَالِفُونَ
yukhalifuna
oppose
عَنۡ
an
[from]
أَمۡرِهِۦٓ
amrihi
his orders
أَن
an
lest
تُصِيبَهُمۡ
tusibahum
befalls them
فِتۡنَةٌ
fit'natun
a trial
أَوۡ
aw
or
يُصِيبَهُمۡ
yusibahum
befalls them
عَذَابٌ
adhabun
a punishment
أَلِيمٌ
alimun
painful
٦٣
24:64
أَلَآ
ala
No doubt
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
to Allah (belongs)
مَا
ma
whatever
فِي
fi
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ
wal-ardi
and the earth
قَدۡ
qad
Verily
يَعۡلَمُ
ya'lamu
He knows
مَآ
ma
what
أَنتُمۡ
antum
you
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
(are) on [it]
وَيَوۡمَ
wayawma
And (the) Day
يُرۡجَعُونَ
yur'ja'una
they will be returned
إِلَيۡهِ
ilayhi
to Him
فَيُنَبِّئُهُم
fayunabbi-uhum
then He will inform them
بِمَا
bima
of what
عَمِلُواْۗ
amilu
they did
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
بِكُلِّ
bikulli
of every
شَيۡءٍ
shayin
thing
عَلِيمُۢ
alimun
(is) All-Knower
