ٱلۡخَبِيثَٰتُ
ʹAl-khabees̤aatu
Evil women
لِلۡخَبِيثِينَ
lil-khabees̤eena
(are) for evil men
وَٱلۡخَبِيثُونَ
wal-khabees̤oona
and evil men
لِلۡخَبِيثَٰتِۖ
lil-khabees̤aat;
(are) for evil women
وَٱلطَّيِّبَٰتُ
waṭ-ṭayyibaatu
And good women
لِلطَّيِّبِينَ
liṭ-ṭayyibeena
(are) for good men
وَٱلطَّيِّبُونَ
waṭ-ṭayyiboona
and good men
لِلطَّيِّبَٰتِۚ
liṭ-ṭayyibaat:
(are) for good women
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹulaaaʹika
Those
مُبَرَّءُونَ
mubarraʹoona
(are) innocent
مِمَّا
mimmaa
of what
يَقُولُونَۖ
yaq̣ooloon:
they say
لَهُم
lahum
For them
مَّغۡفِرَةٞ
mag̣firatuñw
(is) forgiveness
وَرِزۡقٞ
wa-rizq̣uñ
and a provision
كَرِيمٞ
kareem.

24:27
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhal
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believe
لَا
laa-
(Do) not
تَدۡخُلُواْ
tadkhuloo
enter
بُيُوتًا
buyootan
houses
غَيۡرَ
g̣ayra
other (than)
بُيُوتِكُمۡ
buyootikum
your houses
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
تَسۡتَأۡنِسُواْ
tastaʹnisoo
you have asked permission
وَتُسَلِّمُواْ
wa-tusallimoo
and you have greeted
عَلَىٰٓ
ʻalaaa
[on]
أَهۡلِهَاۚ
ʹahlihaa:
its inhabitants
ذَٰلِكُمۡ
ẓaalikum
That
خَيۡرٞ
khayrul
(is) best
لَّكُمۡ
lakum
for you
لَعَلَّكُمۡ
laʻallakum
so that you may
تَذَكَّرُونَ
taẓakkaroon.
pay heed

24:28
فَإِن
Faʹil
But if
لَّمۡ
lam
not
تَجِدُواْ
tajidoo
you find
فِيهَآ
feehaaa
in it
أَحَدٗا
ʹaḥadañ
anyone
فَلَا
falaa
then (do) not
تَدۡخُلُوهَا
tadkhuloohaa
enter it
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
يُؤۡذَنَ
yuʹẓana
permission has been given
لَكُمۡۖ
lakum:
to you
وَإِن
wa-ʹiñ
And if
قِيلَ
q̣eela
it is said
لَكُمُ
lakumur
to you
ٱرۡجِعُواْ
jiʻoo
Go back
فَٱرۡجِعُواْۖ
farjiʻoo
then go back
هُوَ
huwa
it
أَزۡكَىٰ
ʹazkaa
(is) purer
لَكُمۡۚ
lakum:
for you
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
And Allah
بِمَا
bimaa
of what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
taʻmaloona
you do
عَلِيمٞ
ʻAleem.
(is) All-Knower
٢٨
24:29
لَّيۡسَ
Laysa
Not
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
ʻalaykum
upon you
جُنَاحٌ
junaaḥun
(is) any blame
أَن
ʹañ
that
تَدۡخُلُواْ
tadkhuloo
you enter
بُيُوتًا
buyootan
houses
غَيۡرَ
g̣ayra
not
مَسۡكُونَةٖ
maskoonatiñ
inhabited
فِيهَا
feeha
in it
مَتَٰعٞ
mataaʻul
(is) a provision
لَّكُمۡۚ
lakum:
for you
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
And Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
yaʻlamu
knows
مَا
maa-
what
تُبۡدُونَ
tubdoona
you reveal
وَمَا
wa-maa
and what
تَكۡتُمُونَ
taktumoon.
you conceal
٢٩
24:30
قُل
Q̣ul
Say
لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
lil-Muʹmineena
to the believing men
يَغُضُّواْ
yag̣uḍḍoo
they should lower
مِنۡ
min
their gaze
أَبۡصَٰرِهِمۡ
ʹabṣaarihim
their gaze
وَيَحۡفَظُواْ
wa-yaḥfaz̤̣oo
and they should guard
فُرُوجَهُمۡۚ
furoojahum:
their chastity
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
That
أَزۡكَىٰ
ʹazkaa
(is) purer
لَهُمۡۚ
lahum:
for them
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
خَبِيرُۢ
khabeerum
(is) All-Aware
بِمَا
bimaa
of what
يَصۡنَعُونَ
yaṣnaʻoon.
they do
٣٠
24:31
وَقُل
Wa-q̣ul
And say
لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ
lil-Muʹminaati
to the believing women
يَغۡضُضۡنَ
yag̣ḍuḍna
(that) they should lower
مِنۡ
min
[of]
أَبۡصَٰرِهِنَّ
ʹabṣaarihinna
their gaze
وَيَحۡفَظۡنَ
wa-yaḥfaz̤̣na
and they should guard
فُرُوجَهُنَّ
furoojahunna
their chastity
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
يُبۡدِينَ
yubdeena
(to) display
زِينَتَهُنَّ
zeenatahunna
their adornment
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
مَا
maa-
what
ظَهَرَ
z̤̣ahara
is apparent
مِنۡهَاۖ
minhaa
of it
وَلۡيَضۡرِبۡنَ
wal-yaḍribna
And let them draw
بِخُمُرِهِنَّ
bikhumurihinna
their head covers
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
over
جُيُوبِهِنَّۖ
juyoobihinn;
their bosoms
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
يُبۡدِينَ
yubdeena
(to) display
زِينَتَهُنَّ
zeenatahunna
their adornment
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
لِبُعُولَتِهِنَّ
libuʻoolatihinna
to their husbands
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
ءَابَآئِهِنَّ
ʹaabaaaʹihinna
their fathers
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
ءَابَآءِ
ʹaabaaaʹi
fathers
بُعُولَتِهِنَّ
buʻoolatihinna
(of) their husbands
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
أَبۡنَآئِهِنَّ
ʹabnaaaʹihinna
their sons
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
أَبۡنَآءِ
ʹabnaaaʹi
sons
بُعُولَتِهِنَّ
buʻoolatihinna
(of) their husbands
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
إِخۡوَٰنِهِنَّ
ʹikhwaanihinna
their brothers
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
بَنِيٓ
baneee
sons
إِخۡوَٰنِهِنَّ
ʹikhwaanihinna
(of) their brothers
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
بَنِيٓ
baneee
sons
أَخَوَٰتِهِنَّ
ʹakhawaatihinna
(of) their sisters
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
نِسَآئِهِنَّ
nisaaaʹihinna
their women
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
مَا
maa-
what
مَلَكَتۡ
malakat
possess
أَيۡمَٰنُهُنَّ
ʹaymaanuhunna
their right hands
أَوِ
ʹawit
or
ٱلتَّٰبِعِينَ
taabiʻeena
the attendants
غَيۡرِ
g̣ayri
having no physical desire
أُوْلِي
ʹulil
having no physical desire
ٱلۡإِرۡبَةِ
ʹirbati
having no physical desire
مِنَ
minar
among
ٱلرِّجَالِ
rijaali
[the] men
أَوِ
ʹawiṭ
or
ٱلطِّفۡلِ
ṭiflil
[the] children
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena!
who
لَمۡ
lam
(are) not
يَظۡهَرُواْ
yaz̤̣haroo
aware
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
of
عَوۡرَٰتِ
ʻawraatin
private aspects
ٱلنِّسَآءِۖ
nisaaaʹ;
(of) the women
وَلَا
wa-laa
And not
يَضۡرِبۡنَ
yaḍribna
let them stamp
بِأَرۡجُلِهِنَّ
biʹarjulihinna
their feet
لِيُعۡلَمَ
liyuʻlama
to make known
مَا
maa-
what
يُخۡفِينَ
yukhfeena
they conceal
مِن
miñ
of
زِينَتِهِنَّۚ
zeenatihinn.
their adornment
وَتُوبُوٓاْ
Wa-toobooo
And turn
إِلَى
ʹilal
to
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
جَمِيعًا
jameeʻan
altogether
أَيُّهَ
ʹayyuhal
O believers
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
Muʹminoona
O believers
لَعَلَّكُمۡ
laʻallakum
So that you may
تُفۡلِحُونَ
tufliḥoon.
succeed

24:32
وَأَنكِحُواْ
Wa-añkiḥul
And marry
ٱلۡأَيَٰمَىٰ
ʹayaamaa
the single
مِنكُمۡ
miñkum
among you
وَٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
waṣ-ṣaaliḥeena
and the righteous
مِنۡ
min
among
عِبَادِكُمۡ
ʻibaadikum
your male slaves
وَإِمَآئِكُمۡۚ
wa-ʹimaaaʹikum:
and your female slaves
إِن
ʹiñy
If
يَكُونُواْ
yakoonoo
they are
فُقَرَآءَ
fuq̣araaaʹa
poor
يُغۡنِهِمُ
yug̣nihimul
Allah will enrich them
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah will enrich them
مِن
miñ
from
فَضۡلِهِۦۗ
faḍlih:
His Bounty
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-laahu
And Allah
وَٰسِعٌ
Waasiʻun
(is) All-Encompassing
عَلِيمٞ
ʻAleem.
All-Knowing
٣٢
24:33
وَلۡيَسۡتَعۡفِفِ
Wal-yastaʻfifil
And let be chaste
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
لَا
laa-
(do) not
يَجِدُونَ
yajidoona
find
نِكَاحًا
nikaaḥan
(means for) marriage
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
يُغۡنِيَهُمُ
yug̣niyahumul
Allah enriches them
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah enriches them
مِن
miñ
from
فَضۡلِهِۦۗ
faḍliḥ.
His Bounty
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
And those who
يَبۡتَغُونَ
yabtag̣oonal
seek
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
Kitaaba
the writing
مِمَّا
mimmaa
from (those) whom
مَلَكَتۡ
malakat
possess
أَيۡمَٰنُكُمۡ
ʹaymaanukum
your right hands
فَكَاتِبُوهُمۡ
fakaatiboohum
then give them (the) writing
إِنۡ
ʹin
if
عَلِمۡتُمۡ
ʻalimtum
you know
فِيهِمۡ
feehim
in them
خَيۡرٗاۖ
khayrañw
any good
وَءَاتُوهُم
waʹaatoohum
and give them
مِّن
mim
from
مَّالِ
maalil
the wealth of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
laahil
the wealth of Allah
ٱلَّذِيٓ
laẓeee
which
ءَاتَىٰكُمۡۚ
ʹaataakum.
He has given you
وَلَا
Wa-laa
And (do) not
تُكۡرِهُواْ
tukrihoo
compel
فَتَيَٰتِكُمۡ
fatayaatikum
your slave girls
عَلَى
ʻalal
to
ٱلۡبِغَآءِ
big̣aaaʹi
[the] prostitution
إِنۡ
ʹin
if
أَرَدۡنَ
ʹaradna
they desire
تَحَصُّنٗا
taḥaṣṣunal
chastity
لِّتَبۡتَغُواْ
litabtag̣oo
that you may seek
عَرَضَ
ʻaraḍal
temporary gain
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ
ḥayaatid
(of) the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَاۚ
dunyaa.
(of) the world
وَمَن
Wa-mañy
And whoever
يُكۡرِههُّنَّ
yukrihhunna
compels them
فَإِنَّ
faʹinnal
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
مِنۢ
mim
after
بَعۡدِ
baʻdi
after
إِكۡرَٰهِهِنَّ
ʹikraahihinna
their compulsion
غَفُورٞ
G̣afoorur
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٞ
Raḥeem.
Most Merciful
٣٣
24:34
وَلَقَدۡ
Wa-laq̣ad
And verily
أَنزَلۡنَآ
ʹañzalnaaa
We have sent down
إِلَيۡكُمۡ
ʹilaykum
to you
ءَايَٰتٖ
ʹaayaatim
Verses
مُّبَيِّنَٰتٖ
mubayyinaatiñw
clear
وَمَثَلٗا
wamas̤alam
and an example
مِّنَ
minal
of
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
خَلَوۡاْ
khalaw
passed away
مِن
miñ
before you
قَبۡلِكُمۡ
q̣ablikum
before you
وَمَوۡعِظَةٗ
wa-mawʻiz̤̣atal
and an admonition
لِّلۡمُتَّقِينَ
lil-Muttaq̣een.
for those who fear (Allah)
٣٤
24:35
۞ٱللَّهُ
ʹAllaahu
Allah
نُورُ
Noorus
(is the) Light
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
wal-ʹarḍ:
and the earth
مَثَلُ
Mas̤alu
(The) example
نُورِهِۦ
Noorihee
(of) His Light
كَمِشۡكَوٰةٖ
ka-Mishkaatiñ
(is) like a niche
فِيهَا
feehaa
in it
مِصۡبَاحٌۖ
Miṣbaaḥ:
(is) a lamp
ٱلۡمِصۡبَاحُ
ʹAl-Miṣbaaḥu
the lamp
فِي
fee
(is) in
زُجَاجَةٍۖ
Zujaajah:
a glass
ٱلزُّجَاجَةُ
ʹazzujaajatu
the glass
كَأَنَّهَا
kaʹannahaa
as if it were
كَوۡكَبٞ
kawkabuñ
a star
دُرِّيّٞ
durriyyuñy
brilliant
يُوقَدُ
yooq̣adu
(which) is lit
مِن
miñ
from
شَجَرَةٖ
Shajaratim
a tree
مُّبَٰرَكَةٖ
mubaarakatiñ
blessed
زَيۡتُونَةٖ
Zaytoonatil
an olive
لَّا
laa
not
شَرۡقِيَّةٖ
Sharq̣iyyatiñw
(of the) east
وَلَا
Walaa
and not
غَرۡبِيَّةٖ
G̣arbiyyatiñy
(of the) west
يَكَادُ
yakaadu
would almost
زَيۡتُهَا
Zaytuhaa
its oil
يُضِيٓءُ
yuḍeeeʹu
glow
وَلَوۡ
wa-law
even if
لَمۡ
lam
not
تَمۡسَسۡهُ
tamsashu
touched it
نَارٞۚ
naar:
fire
نُّورٌ
Noorun
Light
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
upon
نُورٖۚ
Noor!
Light
يَهۡدِي
Yahdil
Allah guides
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah guides
لِنُورِهِۦ
li-Noorihee
to His Light
مَن
mañy
whom
يَشَآءُۚ
yashaaaʹ:
He wills
وَيَضۡرِبُ
wa-yaḍribul
And Allah sets forth
ٱللَّهُ
laahul
And Allah sets forth
ٱلۡأَمۡثَٰلَ
ʹams̤aala
the examples
لِلنَّاسِۗ
linnaas:
for the mankind
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
And Allah
بِكُلِّ
bikulli
of every
شَيۡءٍ
shayʹin
thing
عَلِيمٞ
ʻAleem.
(is) All-Knower
٣٥
24:36
فِي
Fee
In
بُيُوتٍ
buyootin
houses
أَذِنَ
ʹaẓinal
(which) Allah ordered
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
(which) Allah ordered
أَن
ʹañ
that
تُرۡفَعَ
turfaʻa
they be raised
وَيُذۡكَرَ
wa-yuẓkara
and be mentioned
فِيهَا
feehas
in them
ٱسۡمُهُۥ
muhoo
His name
يُسَبِّحُ
yusabbiḥu
Glorify
لَهُۥ
lahoo
[to] Him
فِيهَا
feehaa
in them
بِٱلۡغُدُوِّ
bilg̣uduwwi
in the mornings
وَٱلۡأٓصَالِ
wal-ʹaaṣaal.
and (in) the evenings

رِجَالٞ
Rijaalul
Men
لَّا
laa
not
تُلۡهِيهِمۡ
tulheehim
distracts them
تِجَٰرَةٞ
tijaaratuñw
trade
وَلَا
walaa
and not
بَيۡعٌ
bayʻun
sale
عَن
ʻañ
from
ذِكۡرِ
ẓikril
(the) remembrance of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(the) remembrance of Allah
وَإِقَامِ
wa-ʹiq̣aamiṣ
and (from) establishing
ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ
Ṣalaati
the prayer
وَإِيتَآءِ
wa-ʹeetaaaʹiz
and giving
ٱلزَّكَوٰةِ
Zakaati
zakah
يَخَافُونَ
yakhaafoona
They fear
يَوۡمٗا
Yawmañ
a Day
تَتَقَلَّبُ
tataq̣allabu
will turn about
فِيهِ
feehil
therein
ٱلۡقُلُوبُ
q̣uloobu
the hearts
وَٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرُ
wal-ʹabṣaar,
and the eyes
٣٧
24:38
لِيَجۡزِيَهُمُ
Liyajziyahumul
That Allah may reward them
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
That Allah may reward them
أَحۡسَنَ
ʹaḥsana
(with the) best
مَا
maa-
(of) what
عَمِلُواْ
ʻamiloo
they did
وَيَزِيدَهُم
wa-yazeedahum
and increase them
مِّن
miñ
from
فَضۡلِهِۦۗ
faḍlih;
His Bounty
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-laahu
And Allah
يَرۡزُقُ
yarzuq̣u
provides
مَن
mañy
whom
يَشَآءُ
yashaaaʹu
He wills
بِغَيۡرِ
big̣ayri
without
حِسَابٖ
hisaab.

24:39
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
But those who
كَفَرُوٓاْ
kafarooo
disbelieve
أَعۡمَٰلُهُمۡ
ʹaʻmaaluhum
their deeds
كَسَرَابِۭ
kasaraabim
(are) like a mirage
بِقِيعَةٖ
biq̣eeʻatiñy
in a lowland
يَحۡسَبُهُ
yaḥsabuhuz̤̣
thinks it
ٱلظَّمۡـَٔانُ
z̤̣amʹaanu
the thirsty one
مَآءً
maaaʹaa;
(to be) water
حَتَّىٰٓ
ḥattaaa
until
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
when
جَآءَهُۥ
jaaaʹahoo
he comes to it
لَمۡ
lam
not
يَجِدۡهُ
yajidhu
he finds it
شَيۡـٔٗا
shayʹañw
(to be) anything
وَوَجَدَ
wawajadal
but he finds
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
عِندَهُۥ
ʻiñdahoo
before him
فَوَفَّىٰهُ
fawaffaahu
He will pay him in full
حِسَابَهُۥۗ
ḥisaabah:
his due
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
And Allah
سَرِيعُ
Sareeʻul
(is) swift
ٱلۡحِسَابِ
ḥisaab.
(in) the account
٣٩
24:40
أَوۡ
ʹAw
Or
كَظُلُمَٰتٖ
kaz̤̣ulumaatiñ
(is) like (the) darkness[es]
فِي
fee
in
بَحۡرٖ
baḥril
a sea
لُّجِّيّٖ
lujjiyyiñy
deep
يَغۡشَىٰهُ
yag̣shaahu
covers it
مَوۡجٞ
mawjum
a wave
مِّن
miñ
on it
فَوۡقِهِۦ
fawq̣ihee
on it
مَوۡجٞ
mawjum
a wave
مِّن
miñ
on it
فَوۡقِهِۦ
fawq̣ihee
on it
سَحَابٞۚ
saḥaab:
a cloud
ظُلُمَٰتُۢ
z̤̣ulumaatum
darkness[es]
بَعۡضُهَا
baʻḍuhaa
some of it
فَوۡقَ
fawq̣a
on
بَعۡضٍ
baʻḍ:
others
إِذَآ
ʹiẓaaa
When
أَخۡرَجَ
ʹakhraja
he puts out
يَدَهُۥ
yadahoo
his hand
لَمۡ
lam
hardly
يَكَدۡ
yakad
hardly
يَرَىٰهَاۗ
yaraahaa!
he (can) see it
وَمَن
wa-mal
And (for) whom
لَّمۡ
lam
not
يَجۡعَلِ
yajʻalil
Allah (has) made
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah (has) made
لَهُۥ
lahoo
for him
نُورٗا
noorañ
a light
فَمَا
famaa
then not
لَهُۥ
lahoo
for him
مِن
min
(is) any
نُّورٍ
noor!

24:41
أَلَمۡ
ʹAlam
Do not
تَرَ
tara
you see
أَنَّ
ʹannal
that
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
يُسَبِّحُ
yusabbiḥu
glorify
لَهُۥ
lahoo
Him
مَن
mañ
whoever
فِي
fis
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
wal-ʹarḍi
and the earth
وَٱلطَّيۡرُ
waṭ-ṭayru
and the birds
صَٰٓفَّٰتٖۖ
ṣaaaffaat?
(with) wings outspread
كُلّٞ
Kulluñ
Each one
قَدۡ
q̣ad
verily
عَلِمَ
ʻalima
knows
صَلَاتَهُۥ
ṣalaatahoo
its prayer
وَتَسۡبِيحَهُۥۗ
wa-tasbeeḥah.
and its glorification
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
And Allah
عَلِيمُۢ
ʻAleemum
(is) All-Knower
بِمَا
bimaa
of what
يَفۡعَلُونَ
yafʻaloon.
they do
٤١
24:42
وَلِلَّهِ
Wa-lillaahi
And to Allah (belongs)
مُلۡكُ
mulkus
(the) dominion
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ
wal-ʹarḍ!
and the earth
وَإِلَى
wa-ʹilal
And to
ٱللَّهِ
laahil
Allah
ٱلۡمَصِيرُ
maṣeer.
(is) the destination
٤٢
24:43
أَلَمۡ
ʹAlam
Do not
تَرَ
tara
you see
أَنَّ
ʹannal
that
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
يُزۡجِي
yuzjee
drives
سَحَابٗا
saḥaabañ
clouds
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
يُؤَلِّفُ
yuʹallifu
joins
بَيۡنَهُۥ
baynahoo
between them
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
يَجۡعَلُهُۥ

رُكَامٗا
rukaamañ
(into) a mass
فَتَرَى
fataral
then you see
ٱلۡوَدۡقَ
wadq̣a
the rain
يَخۡرُجُ
yakhruju
come forth
مِنۡ
min
from
خِلَٰلِهِۦ
khilaalih.
their midst
وَيُنَزِّلُ
Wa-yunazzilu
And He sends down
مِنَ
minas
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
samaaaʹi
(the) sky
مِن
miñ
[from]
جِبَالٖ
jibaaliñ
mountains
فِيهَا
feehaa
within it
مِنۢ
mim
[of]
بَرَدٖ
baradiñ
(is) hail
فَيُصِيبُ
fayuṣeebu
and He strikes
بِهِۦ
bihee
with it
مَن
mañy
whom
يَشَآءُ
yashaaaʹu
He wills
وَيَصۡرِفُهُۥ
wa-yaṣrifuhoo
and averts it
عَن
ʻam
from
مَّن
mañy
whom
يَشَآءُۖ
yashaaaʹ.
He wills
يَكَادُ
Yakaadu
Nearly
سَنَا
sanaa
(the) flash
بَرۡقِهِۦ
barq̣ihee
(of) its lighting
يَذۡهَبُ
yaẓhabu
takes away
بِٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرِ
bil-ʹabṣaar.

يُقَلِّبُ
Yuq̣allibul
Allah alternates
ٱللَّهُ
laahul
Allah alternates
ٱلَّيۡلَ

the night
وَٱلنَّهَارَۚ
wannahaar:
and the day
إِنَّ
ʹinna
Indeed
فِي
fee
in
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
لَعِبۡرَةٗ
laʻibratal
surely is a lesson
لِّأُوْلِي
liʹulil
for those who have vision
ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرِ
ʹabṣaar!
for those who have vision

24:45
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
And Allah
خَلَقَ
khalaq̣a
created
كُلَّ
kulla
every
دَآبَّةٖ
daaabbatim
moving creature
مِّن
mim
from
مَّآءٖۖ
maaaʹ:
water
فَمِنۡهُم
faminhum
Of them
مَّن
mañy
(is a kind) who
يَمۡشِي
yamshee
walks
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
on
بَطۡنِهِۦ
baṭnih;
its belly
وَمِنۡهُم
wa-minhum
and of them
مَّن
mañy
(is a kind) who
يَمۡشِي
yamshee
walks
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
on
رِجۡلَيۡنِ
rijlayn;
two legs
وَمِنۡهُم
wa-minhum
and of them
مَّن
mañy
(is a kind) who
يَمۡشِي
yamshee
walks
عَلَىٰٓ
ʻalaaa
on
أَرۡبَعٖۚ
ʹarbaʻ.
four
يَخۡلُقُ
Yakhluq̣ul
Allah creates
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah creates
مَا
maa-
what
يَشَآءُۚ
yashaaaʹ;
He wills
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
on
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شَيۡءٖ
shayʹiñ
thing
قَدِيرٞ
Q̣adeer.
(is) All-Powerful
٤٥
24:46
لَّقَدۡ
Laq̣ad
Verily
أَنزَلۡنَآ
ʹañzalnaaa
We have sent down
ءَايَٰتٖ
ʹAayaatim
Verses
مُّبَيِّنَٰتٖۚ
mubayyinaat:
clear
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
And Allah
يَهۡدِي
yahdee
guides
مَن
mañy
whom
يَشَآءُ
yashaaaʹu
He wills
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
صِرَٰطٖ
Ṣiraaṭim
a path
مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ
Mustaq̣eem.
straight
٤٦
24:47
وَيَقُولُونَ
Wa-yaq̣ooloona
And they say
ءَامَنَّا
ʹaamannaa
We believe
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
in Allah
وَبِٱلرَّسُولِ
wa-bir-Rasooli
and in the Messenger
وَأَطَعۡنَا
wa-ʹaṭaʻnaa
and we obey
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
Then
يَتَوَلَّىٰ
yatawallaa
turns away
فَرِيقٞ
fareeq̣um
a party
مِّنۡهُم
minhum
of them
مِّنۢ
mim
after
بَعۡدِ
baʻdi
after
ذَٰلِكَۚ
ẓaalik:
that
وَمَآ
wa-maaa
And not
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹulaaaʹika
those
بِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
bil-Muʹmineen.
(are) believers
٤٧
24:48
وَإِذَا
Wa-ʹiẓaa
And when
دُعُوٓاْ
duʻooo
they are called
إِلَى
ʹilal
to
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦ
wa-Rasoolihee
and His Messenger
لِيَحۡكُمَ
liyaḥkuma
to judge
بَيۡنَهُمۡ
baynahum
between them
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
behold
فَرِيقٞ
fareeq̣um
a party
مِّنۡهُم
minhum
of them
مُّعۡرِضُونَ
muʻriḍoon.
(is) averse
٤٨
24:49
وَإِن
Wa-ʹiñy
But if
يَكُن
yakul
is
لَّهُمُ
lahumul
with them
ٱلۡحَقُّ
ḥaq̣q̣u
the truth
يَأۡتُوٓاْ
yaʹtooo
they come
إِلَيۡهِ
ʹilayhi
to him
مُذۡعِنِينَ
muẓʻineen.
(as) promptly obedient
٤٩
24:50
أَفِي
ʹAfee
Is (there) in
قُلُوبِهِم
q̣uloobihim
their hearts
مَّرَضٌ
maraḍun
a disease
أَمِ
ʹamir
or
ٱرۡتَابُوٓاْ
taabooo
do they doubt
أَمۡ
ʹam
or
يَخَافُونَ
yakhaafoona
they fear
أَن
ʹañy
that
يَحِيفَ
yaḥeefal
Allah will be unjust
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah will be unjust
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
to them
وَرَسُولُهُۥۚ
wa-Rasooluh?
and His Messenger
بَلۡ
Bal
Nay
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹulaaaʹika
those
هُمُ
humuz̤̣
[they]
ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
z̤̣aalimoon.
(are) the wrongdoers
